The Hardy Boyz answer challenge on WWE NXT

Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy made a surprise appearance via video promo on Tuesday’s WWE NXT to answer a challenge for next week’s episode.

After No Quarter Catch Crew’s Tavion Heights and Myles Borne threw down the gauntlet for The Hardy Boyz to face them on next week’s show, Matt and Jeff appeared via a video promo to answer the challenge, agreeing to face the NQCC duo.

The video promo was the first appearance on WWE TV by The Hardys since WWE and TNA officially announced their multi-year partnership. The Hardys currently hold TNA’s Tag Team titles, and hinted at a future match against NXT Tag champs Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom) in their promo. That match was first teased at last month’s TNA Impact tapings in a social media post.

WWE’s chief content officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque made a social media post on X to mark the occasion, noting that The Hardys had “re-defined” tag team wrestling for more than 25 years:

The first live TNA Impact in eight years will likely be a newsworthy one given last Sunday’s Genesis pay-per-view and last week’s announcement of an official WWE/TNA partnership.

New TNA World Champion Joe Hendry will be on the show following his victory over now-former champion Nic Nemeth on Sunday.

After making an appearance and getting involved in the TNA Tag Team title match, NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom (Axiom & Nathan Frazer) will defend their titles against The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel).

TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich will team with Knockouts Tag Team Champions Spitfire against Rosemary and Ash & Heather by Elegance following their respective title matches last Sunday.

In a non-title match, TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardys will face X-Division Champion Moose & JDC.

After defeating Jordynne Grace, Tessa Blanchard will make an appearance as will Josh Alexander who quit the promotion Sunday but is contractually obligated to appear per Santino Marella.

After several minutes of live audio being tapped in on the TNA+ feed, Tom Hannifan eventually informed the truck of this, and the audio stopped. The cold open video package aired to start off the first live show in eight years, recapping the action from TNA Genesis 2025.

Santino Marella Teases Surprises, History-Making Show

Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt welcome the viewing audience at home to the special live episode from San Antonio, TX. After a slickly-produced opening camera shot, footage is shown of Gia Miller talking with the TNA Director of Authority, Santino Marella, who teased “a couple of surprises” for the show.

Joe Hendry Kicks Off Special Live Episode

From there, the usual “Cross the line” theme and accompanying opening video hit to formally open the show. Back inside the Impact Zone, the viral smash hit, “I Believe in Joe Hendry” plays as the brand new TNA World Champion Joe Hendry makes his way out to the ring.

Rehwoldt calls tonight the start of a new era led by Hendry. He and Hannifan are shown on camera to emphasize again how important tonight is to TNA, and how significant being live is. Hendry does the dramatic soap opera turn to the hard-camera as his entrance tune wraps up.

“Say his name, and he appears! Joe Hendry is your TNA World Champion!” are the first words to come out of Hendry’s mouth. Fans respond with a loud “You deserve it!” chant. Hendry thanks the fans, noting anytime he faced an uphill battle, they had his back.

He said the journey to the title was then, but this is now. He said he went to Santino Marella and told him that not only will he be a fighting champion, but he’ll put his title on-the-line against anyone, from anywhere. “And folks, trust me when I say anything can happen, because for the first time in eight years, TNA iMPACT is live!”

With that said, the theme for TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella hits and out he comes with a microphone in-hand. He congratulates Hendry and confirms his story about coming to him insisting he’ll be a fighting champion inside and outside of TNA.

He says he had an individual who took him up on his offer. So tonight in the main event, it’ll be Joe Hendry defending his title against “Alwayz Ready” Matt Cardona. “The Indy God” comes out with a big smile on his face. The opening segment wrapped up on that note.

Eric Young Wants To Help Josh Alexander, Steve Maclin Doesn’t

Footage of Josh Alexander quitting TNA at TNA Genesis 2025 is shown. Afterwards, a backstage digital exclusive from Sunday’s PPV is shown, with Eric Young asking how after all that, Alexander is really going to quit and leave. Alexander doesn’t say a word and walks off.

Back live, Steve Maclin is with Eric Young, and asked why he bothered wasting his time. Young said he saw something. Maclin said he did too, at one time, but not anymore. He reminds him of the despicable acts of Alexander as of late. Young says he wants to help him. Maclin makes it clear he does not.

Up walks “The Walking Weapon” himself. He says he’s not here to make excuses. He says he’s here to tell Young and Maclin he respects them both. He thanks them for everything over the years. He tries extending his hand for a shake, but doesn’t get any buyers.

Rehwoldt and Hannifan are shown on camera again to recap the Alexander situation. They promote a segment later in the show where we will learn more about Alexander’s status. They run down the rest of the lineup for tonight as the match graphics flash across the screen, and then the show heads into the first commercial of the evening.

Nic Nemeth To Addresses TNA Status Next Week

When the show returns, we see Gia Miller backstage talking to Ryan Nemeth, when his big brother Nic shows up. Nic Nemeth tells Miller that next week he will address his TNA status. Ryan then gets on Miller’s case, insisting she pre-screen her questions in the future, as not to upset his big bro.

Rosemary, Ash & Heather By Elegance defeated Spitfire (Dani Luna & Jody Threat) & Masha Slamovich

Inside the Impact Zone, George Iceman takes a cowboy hat and stomps on it to show the Texas crowd what he thinks of “The Lone Star State.” He then introduces the Knockout duo of Ash and Heather By Elegance. They come to the ring and are joined by their partner, Rosemary, who makes her way out next.

Their opponents, TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champions Spitfire make their way out first. Dani Luna and Jody Threat come to the ring and stop at ringside. The entrance tune for their partner hits, and out comes TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich.

Six-Knockouts tag-team action kicks things off inside the ring on the first live episode of TNA Impact in eight years. Threat and Ash kick things off for their respective teams. Ash pushes and slaps Threat, and gets decked with a big right hand in response by Threat.

Threat goes to work on Ash in the corner with repeated shots. Threat works Ash over for a few more seconds before tagging in Luna. Luna scoops Threat up and bodyslams her onto Ash for a close two-count. Ash tags out and in comes Heather by Elegance.

She quickly decides against engaging, instead tagging Rosemary and quickly rolling out to the floor. Meanwhile, Luna shoulder tackles Rosemary and begins working over her arm. Luna makes the blind tag to Threat, and the two hit some double-team action on Rosemary, finishing with a seated splash for a two-count.

Rosemary fights back, snatching Threat up by the throat and muscling her into the corner with one arm. With her other free arm, Rosemary snatches up her own partner, Heather, by the jugular as well. She shouts some orders at her and then tags Ash in.

Ash takes out Threat with a clothesline after Heather snuck in a knee to the back on the ropes. Rosemary tags back in and grounds and pounds Threat before letting out a war-cry scream. She hits a big splash on Threat in the corner and then hits an exploder suplex for a two-count.

Masha Slamovich tags in and takes out any-and-everyone in sight with bullish offensive spurts and flurries. Threat tags in and takes over, hitting slams and drivers on everyone until she is kicked out of the ring. Slamovich hits a spinning kick on Ash and tags in Luna.

Ash rolls Luna up out of nowhere, but only gets two. Luna back suplexes Ash onto her elegant dome — three times in a row. As the action continues, the theme for WWE NXT Superstar Cora Jade hits. She makes her way down with a folder in her hand.

She hands it to Slamovich, who pulls out an X-ray photo of herself. Cora pulling a page out of Slamovich’s own playbook leads to Ash rolling up a distracted Slamovich for the win. After the match, the show heads into another commercial break.

Josh Alexander Addresses Quitting TNA Wrestling

When the show returns, Josh Alexander’s theme hits and “The Walking Weapon” makes his way out alongside Northern Armory associates Travis Williams and Judas Icarus. He gets on the mic and is booed Dominik Mysterio and Don Callis-style.

Alexander, who was promoted as being contractually obligated to appear, starts by thanking TNA for giving him the opportunity to address some things, “because I certainly didn’t have to.” He talks over the loud boos about how he wants to be remembered for the good times he had in TNA, not the past few months.

He says he’s been here six years and his son is now six years old. His son has only ever known him as a TNA wrestler. As a former champion and someone who risked it all to achieve his dream. On June 19, 2002, Alexander was 15 years old. He tuned into the first TNA broadcast and was inspired.

Fans start giving him the “What?” treatment along with more sustained booing as he tries to continue his Hulk Hogan at Saturday Night’s Main Event style fighting-against-the-grain promo. He says if you believe one thing, believe this — his time in TNA over the past six years has been a dream come true.

It’s now time for him to step away. “Guys, guys …relax.” He tells Judas and Travis not to worry because they have all the talent in the world. He talks about going to bat for the two with TNA management. He says The Motor City Machine Guns did as well.

He calls them the best up-and-coming tag-team in the world. “You can do this, just do it the right way. Because it’s gonna be without me.” They tell him he can’t quit. Alexander says he can and has. They tell him he doesn’t understand. He can’t leave. They then sneak-attack him.

As the two continue to beat down Alexander, Eric Young sprints out from the back to make the save. He tells them he knows they haven’t been around long enough to know what’s going on. “One, you don’t mess with Texas, and two, you don’t mess with Eric Young and ‘The Walking Weapon.'”

He tells him next week it’ll be Williams and Icarus against Young and Alexander. Hannifan says “let’s see if it gets made official.” He and Rehwoldt run down the remaining lineup for tonight as the match graphics flash across the screen, and then the show heads into another commercial break.

The Hardys defeated Moose & JDC

When the show returns, The System theme hits and out comes Moose and JDC, accompanied by Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers and Alisha Edwards. The duo head to the ring for the next match of the evening, as Hannifan and Rehwoldt talk about the last live Impact eight years ago featuring the debut of Moose.

After they settle inside the squared circle, their music pipes down, the iconic tune for the Hardys pipes in, and the San Antonio crowd goes insane as Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy make their way to the ring. The TNA Tag-Team Champions settle inside for their non-title match to loud “Hardy! Hardy!” chants.

As they head to opposite corners to pose for the fans, they are ambushed and attacked from behind by Moose and JDC. The System duo pound on The Hardys for a few seconds, but then the champs fight back. They put JDC and Moose in the same corner and hit their trademark Poetry in Motion spot.

Matt and JDC settle as the legal man starting the match off. Matt bounces JDC’s dome off the turnbuckles over-and-over again as fans chant “DELETE! DELETE!” He hits an elbow to the back of a standing JDC’s head after leaping off the middle rope. He looks for Twist of Fate, but JDC escapes.

A brief Alisha Edwards leads to a cheap shot from Moose to the back of Matt’s head. JDC follows up and then tags in Moose. The TNA X-Division Champion settles in the ring and picks up where JDC left off, taking it to Matt as fans loudly boo. Moose quickly tags back out and JDC takes back over.

JDC controls the action for a couple of minutes, but misses when going for Down ‘N’ Dirty. This buys Matt enough time to make the much-needed tag to Jeff. “The Charismatic Enigma” hits the ring off the hot tag and the crowd goes wild as he takes it to JDC and Moose by himself.

Alisha Edwards gets involved again, leading to another brief shift of offensive momentum, but it quickly swings back in the other direction. Jeff takes his shirt off and hits his trademark top-rope Swanton Bomb for the pinfall victory. The Hardys pose with their titles in the ring to the adoring crowd to wrap things up.

23 Is Just A Number … Or Is It?

The Hardys head over to say something to Hannifan and Rehwoldt, but as they do, the lights in the Impact Zone begin flickering.

The mysterious and cryptic 23 flashes on the big screens on the entrance ramp like they have the past several weeks, as a voice says “23 is just a number.” Hannifan points out that today is January 23, a.k.a. 1/23, as the show heads into another commercial break.

When the show returns, Sami Callihan makes his way down to the ring. Hannifan says a match was scheduled for right now, but Callihan has taking over. Callihan demands his music be cut and then immediately makes it clear he’s sick of waiting and mind games about this “23” mystery.

He tells 23 to get down here right now. Some music begins playing. Out comes Steph De Lander. The new TNA Digital Media Champion. She claims she won the title in the divorce. “What’s mine is mine and what’s his is mine!”

She says now that her husband is out the door, she wants to introduce us to her boyfriend. The lights go out. The 23 vignette plays again. “23 is just a number.” When the lights come back on, Mance Warner is in the ring. He attacks Callihan.

“The Southern Psycho” is in TNA and literally you can hear a pin drop for his highly-promoted debut. He takes De Lander’s title and the two make out, Edge-Lita style, to end the segment. The show heads into another a TNA Rebellion 2025 trailer.

Fraxiom (c) defeated The Rascalz to retain the NXT Tag-Team Championships

When the trailer wraps up, we return in the Impact Zone, where Hannifan and Rehwoldt introduce “The Liaison” Arianna Grace, who joins them on guest commentary. They hype up the NXT Tag-Team Champions Fraxiom defending against The Rascalz.

The bong hits begin as the lights go out. When they come back on, The Rascalz duo of Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz descend from their treehouse and head to the ring for their big inter-promotional title opportunity.

After they settle in the ring, the theme for NXT Tag-Team Champions hits, and out comes the Fraxiom duo of Axiom and Nathan Frazer. The “Tag Lines” tale of the tape style graphic flashes on the screen and then the bell sounds to get things started.

Miguel and Axiom kick things off for their respective teams. Miguel takes Axiom down and isolates his left arm. He cranks away at it, but Axiom flips around and escapes, launching Miguel across the ring with a big shot. He wraps up Miguel in a side-stretch after tagging in Frazer.

Frazer hits the ropes Bron Breakker-quick before launching himself knee-first into the open mid-section of Miguel. Rehwoldt encourages Grace to speak, and she does by talking about being friends with Fraxiom. Important contributions from “The Liaison” only, of course.

Fraxiom continue to utilize frequent tags, keeping a fresh man in the ring and keeping Miguel isolated on their side of the ring at all times. Minutes later, Wentz finally gets the hot tag and helps pick up the pace and shift the offensive momentum into The Rascalz’ favor.

Wentz hits a standing shooting star press for a close two-count. Fans react with a loud “This is Awesome!” chant as Wentz and Frazer continue to fly all over the ring in fast-forward-looking-fashion. Fraxiom hit a double-team spot on Miguel as the referee was checking on Wentz.

Frazer hits a super-plex on Wentz off the ropes. He rolls through and hoists him up again, hitting another as Axiom adds the contribution of a super kick on the way down. Frazer follows up with an immediate cover, but only gets two. Wentz fights back with a spinning knee to the chin off the ropes.

Everyone is down and recovering as the crowd shows them some more love. Wentz hits Axiom with an enormous kick that pops the crowd and commentary team-alike. He walks into a big shot from Axiom after that, but Miguel hits the ring and The Rascalz take over with some double-team spots.

Frazer goes for a springboard moonsault off the ropes, but is met with stereo super kicks from Rascalz on the way down. The Rascalz hit the Street Sweeper off the ropes double-team spot for a close two-count. WWE NXT Superstar and former member of The Rascalz, hits the ring.

Tyson Dupont & Tyriek Igwe attack Wentz from behind as Lee distracts the referee. Fraxiom take over on Miguel in the ring. Axiom hits a Spanish Fly. Frazer follows up with his splash off the ropes for the win. Fraxiom retains. After the match, the show heads to another commercial break.

Mike Santana Interrupted By Returning Mustafa Ali

When the show returns, Mike Santana’s theme hits and he makes his trademark custom ring entrance through the crowd, as Tom Hannifan refers to him as the new standard in TNA. Santana settles in the ring and talks about beating Josh Alexander at TNA Genesis.

Santana boasts getting the torch of the standard of TNA passed to him by Alexander, and that he made him say those two magic words he claimed he never would, which, of course, were “I Quit.” Santana then makes his TNA World Championship aspirations clear.

It seemed like that was going to be it, but as Santana gets ready to leave, he is cut off by the familiar sounds of the entrance music of Mustafa Ali. Ali comes out and comes into the ring with Santana. Ali confirms he has signed with TNA. He says the company needs great leadership, and he is that leader.

Ali announces a campaign in which he becomes the next world heavyweight champion. Santana makes a crooked face while standing calmly in the corner taking this all in. Ali reminds us all that “In Ali, we trust!” His theme hits again. Ali side-stares Santana, smirks and exits the ring.

Tessa Blanchard Talks San Antonio & Blanchard Family History

Backstage, we see a shot of Tessa Blanchard’s locker room door, complete with the name plate on the door. A security guard knocks on the door and out she comes. The security guard waves the direction for her to walk, and informs her she’s next.

Tessa “Bill Goldberg” Blanchard is next. The show heads to another commercial break on that note. When the show returns, Tessa’s hip-hop theme, which mentions her name and diamond references, hits. She makes her way out to boos.

Blanchard talks about Texas, and San Antonio in particular, as a place her family made their name. She says the Blanchard’s own San Antonio. Her father, Tully Blanchard, is shown in the background smiling as she continues to talk.

She talks about her grandfather, Joe Blanchard, bringing the first wrestling to cable television “before WWE was even a thought.” Easy, they’re you’re partners now! She mocks San Antonio for not having a real sports team. She says the Spurs don’t count.

The only thing San Antonio is famous for is losing the Alamo. She talks about her family looking at her and seeing something greater than any Von Erich, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin or any Funk. “Tessa, you are going to be great.” She said most parents don’t do that. She says you have to pay the price to be great.

Fans can say whatever they want about her, “but you will never hear that Tessa Blanchard is not great. The standard here in TNA Wrestling has just been raised.

It is time to step up or shut up. At TNA Genesis, I took out the trash, and now it’s time to get back to business.” She claims Tessa Blanchard answers to no one and her music hits again to wrap things up.

Joe Hendry (c) defeated Matt Cardona to retain the TNA World Championship

It’s main event time!

The Tale of the Tape “Tag Lines” graphic flashes on the screen to set the stage for the main event of the evening. Frankie Kazarian’s theme hits and out comes the self-proclaimed “King of TNA” and Call Your Shot Gauntlet winner, with his trophy in-hand. He joins Hannifan and Rehwoldt on commentary.

From there, the “Alwayz Ready” theme hits and out comes “The Complete” Matt Cardona, as he is being called. Cardona settles inside the squared circle and poses on the ropes ahead of his big title opportunity in his return TNA appearance.

After Cardona settles inside the squared circle, the familiar sounds of Joe Hendry’s catchy-ass entrance tune plays to bring out the brand new TNA World Champion and face of the new era of TNA, Joe Hendry. The fans in San Antonio clearly believe, and are making as much known as he heads to the ring.

A fan holding up a “Joe Hendry believes in breakfast tacos” sign is shown on camera. Got to love the San Antonio creativity. McKenzie Mitchell is shown on-camera and handles the formal pre-match ring introductions for the champion and challenger.

Hannifan mentions #TNAWrestling is trending number one in Sports in America on X as the show heads into a quick pre-match commercial break. When the show returns, the bell sounds to get things started. Hendry over-powers Cardona off the initial lock up.

Kazarian talks on commentary for the second time since sitting down about being in a bad mood. He claims if JBL shows his face inside the Impact Zone, he might just knock him out. Meanwhile, Hendry goes to work with repeated chops to Cardona in the corner.

Cardona hits Hendry low and taunts the booing crowd in the Boeing Center. Hendry fights back and takes over. Hendry hits his trademark stalling suplex spot. “252 pounds of pure motivation” continues to work over Cardona, until “The Indy God” knocks him out of the ring and chokes him with his t-shirt.

As Cardona rubs it in the fans faces, he turns and leaps on Hendry, who catches him and Donkey Kong’s him off the hard part of the ring apron from the floor with an A.A. As Kazarian boats smelling good tonight on commentary, Cardona pokes Hendry in the eyes and takes over as the show heads into a mid-match commercial break.

When the show returns, Hannifan runs down the advertised lineup for next week’s show (see below), as Cardona continues to work over Hendry in the ring. Hendry begins to fight back, and stomps and claps to lead the fans in “We will rock you” sounding comeback background noise.

Cardona cuts Hendry’s comeback short, however, and the cheers quickly turn to loud droning boos. Cardona looks for the Re-Boot, but Hendry avoids it and begins fighting back again. He looks for a power bomb, but Cardona escapes and blasts Hendry in the throat.

He follows up with a missile dropkick and close-range DDT for a two-count. Cardona complains to the referee. He turns around and looks for Radio Silence, but Hendry avoids it. The referee gets bumped just as Hendry hits his Standing Ovation finisher. “That’s certainly a shame, isn’t it?” says Kazarian on commentary.

Kazarian claims this is where Hendry would normally grab brass knuckles, which Hannifan quickly points out is actually a page out of Kaz’s own playbook. Cardona blasts Hendry with a blatant low-blow while the referee was still down. Kaz says his monitor went out, so he didn’t see it. Rehwoldt didn’t either, of course.

Cardona rubs his hands together and eyes the TNA World Championship at the timekeepers table. He picks it up and continues his fixated stare at it as he heads to the ring. JBL comes out through the crowd and takes out Cardona with a Clothesline from Hell. Fans chant “JBL! JBL!”

Hendry is stuck confused at JBL’s actions. He turns around and is blasted by a recovered Cardona with the title. Cardona covers him just as the referee comes back to life. Hendry kicks out at two-and-a-half. Hendry fights back and hits a Standing Ovation seconds later for the win, getting the first defense of his TNA World Championship under his belt. That’s how the first live TNA Impact in eight years goes off the air.

TNA Impact live results: The final stop before Genesis

The final TNA Impact before this Sunday’s Genesis pay-per-view hits the airwaves tonight, headlined by a face-to-face confrontation between TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth and challenger Joe Hendry.

In non-title action, Tag Team Champions Matt & Jeff Hardy will take on Sami Callihan & PCO. If Callihan and PCO win, they will be added to a three-way title match Sunday that includes The Rascalz.

Ahead of their Clockwork Orange House of Fun match Sunday, TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich and Rosemary will have a “confessional.”

Former TNA World Champions Steve Maclin & Eric Young will team up against First Class’ AJ Francis & KC Navarro.

Leon Slater will take Trent Seven while Jake Something goes one-on-one with former Digital Media Champion Laredo Kid.

Josh Alexander will be on hand to share some thoughts while Ash & Heather by Elegance host a “pre-launch celebration” ahead of their challenge of Knockouts Tag Team Champions Spitfire on Sunday.

Leon Slater defeated Trent Seven

The show opens with a shot of an enthusiastic “TNA! TNA!” chant from fans inside the Impact Zone, as Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt welcome us to the show. Frankie Kazarian’s theme hits and out comes the Call Your Shot Gauntlet winner for special guest commentary.

After the self-proclaimed “King of TNA” takes his seat alongside Hannifan and Rehwoldt, the focus shifts back to the ring where Leon Slater is introduced for the opening contest. Hannifan brings up Kazarian’s recent conversation with Slater and their scheduled match on the TNA Genesis “Countdown” pre-show.

From there, the entrance tune for Trent Seven hits and out he comes to the ring for his first TNA match since his TNA Final Resolution loss to Ace Austin. He snubs a fan at ringside before settling in the ring. The bell sounds and Seven snatches up the arm of Slater, who flips out and takes Seven down to the mat.

Slater whips Seven into the corner and follows in with a big splash. He does a little dance to taunt Seven and then blasts him with a reverse enzugiri that sends him out to the floor. Slater plays to the crowd, hits the ropes and charges at Seven with a big boot that knocks him off the ring apron and back to the floor.

He looks for a springboard high spot to the floor, but Seven avoids it and counters with a snap-dragon suplex. Seven rolls in the ring and smiles as the referee begins his count. Slater is shown clutching his shoulder in pain at ringside. Slater leaps and dive into the ring at the count of nine-and-a-half.

The two begin getting after it again, with Slater surprising Seven with a few pin attempts and finishing with a leaping kick that sends Seven crashing to the mat. Slater sits Seven on the top turnbuckle and climbs up after him.

He looks for a super-plex but Seven counters with a modified gut-wrench super-plex for a close two-count. Seven follows up with a Seven Star Lariat and a big piledriver for another close two-count. He sets up for a Birming-Hammer, but Slater counters. Slater back-slides Seven for a two-count.

Seven hits a right hand and this time connects with the Birming-Hammer, but again only gets a count of two. Seven and Slater fight out to the floor, where Slater hits a big DDT on the ramp. Seven rolls off the ramp. Slater backs up and waits for him to get up. He charges at him and connects with a high spot off the ramp. Back in the ring, he leaps off the ropes with a 450 splash for the pinfall victory. Excellent opener.

Afterwards, Seven does the standing bow gesture to Slater in a tip-of-the-cap moment of endorsement. Kazarian leaves his seat at the commentary desk and tries for a sneak attack, but Slater turns and catches him. Kazarian pumps the breaks.

Championship Celebration By Elegance Pre-Launch

When the show returns, George Iceman makes his way out with a microphone in-hand. The crowd gives him the Dominik Mysterio and Don Callis treatment as he tries to introduce the Championship Celebration By Elegance Pre-Launch.

He introduces the lovely, the beautiful, the elegant, Ash By Elegance. She comes out alongside Heather by Elegance. Iceman unveils two cardboard cutouts in the ring that shows Ash and Heather with the TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Championships around their waists.

Ash cuts an acceptance speech-style promo, thanking her makeup artists and such, before tearing up and getting emotional while thanking Iceman. Spitfire duo Dani Luna and Jody Threat come out with their TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Championships in-hand. They call them delusional Barbie doll wannabes.

Ash takes exception to these comments and calls Spitfire a team that belongs on the clearance rack. She laughs at her own joke and gets enraged that they don’t find it funny as well. They brawl and then Spitfire takes the cardboard cutout and hit their double-team finisher on it. They rip its’ head off and throw it at Ash.

Gia Miller Interviews PCO & Sami Callihan

Backstage, Gia Miller is standing by with PCO and Sami Callihan. She brings up their match tonight against The Hardys and mentions how if they win, the tag title match at TNA Genesis becomes a three-way with them added.

Callihan promises victory and says they are going to Genesis. PCO gives Miller a compliment that makes her blush. The show heads into another commercial break on that note.

Eric Young & Steve Maclin defeated First Class (AJ Francis & KC Navarro)

When the show returns, First Class duo AJ Francis and KC Navarro make their way to the ring as Hannifan and Rehwoldt do a live ad-read for TNA’s new partnership with BLCKSMTH. Eric Young’s entrance tune hits next and he comes out.

Steve Maclin comes out last and shakes hands with actor Judd Lormand, who is shown and acknowledged on the broadcast in a brief cameo appearance. The bell sounds and Young and Navarro kick things off for their respective teams. Navarro disrespects Young, which angers the TNA veteran.

Young slaps Navarro in the back of the head — loud — before tagging in “Bulletproof” Steve Maclin. Maclin and Young hit a double-team sequence and then Maclin settles into a comfortable offensive lead. Francis provides an assist and Navarro hits a big dive to Maclin on the floor.

First Class takes over on that note, with Francis tagging in and taking it to Maclin in the corner of the ring. Francis tags out and the two hit another double-team spot. They do their “Money! Money! Money!” chant and Navarro picks up where Francis left off, dominating Maclin in one-sided fashion.

Francis runs over and hits Young with a cheap shot to knock him off the apron. Navarro goes over and taunts Judd Lormand, who shoves him down on his ass. Francis comes over and snatches Lormand up by his collar until officials separate them.

Back in the ring, Maclin hits a big slam on Francis that buys him enough time to make the much-needed tag to Young. Navarro also tags in, but it is Young off the hot tag who fires up and takes over on offense. Maclin hits a dive to Francis on the floor.

Young hits a flying elbow drop off the ropes to Navarro for the win. After the match, as Young and Maclin are celebrating, The System duo of Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers come out with Alisha Edwards. They stare down Young and Maclin and touch fists before the show heads to another commercial break.

Masha Slamovich & Rosemary’s Confessional

When the show returns, footage of TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich’s cameo appearance from this week’s WWE NXT is shown. They mention Slamovich being impressed with Cora Jade.

Once that wraps up, the show shoots to a dark, shadowy look at Rosemary, with footage of Rosemary’s recent matches being sliced in. We see that Rosemary is sitting in a confessional booth like at church. On the other side is Slamovich. They each speak their piece.

Rosemary talks about how they were the epitome of violence in the Knockouts division. She says everything has built to this Clockwork Orange House of Fun showdown for the title. She promises it to be the most violent Knockouts match in TNA history.

Slamovich says they’re either going to touch the sky, or she’s going to drag her to hell with her. That’s how the brief video package segment wraps up. The show heads into another commercial break.

Mike Santana vs. Josh Alexander At Genesis Now An “I Quit” Match

Footage of Judas Icarus and Travis Williams attacking Mike Santana at Prestige Wrestling from over the weekend is shown as the show returns from the break.

Inside the Impact Zone, Josh Alexander and The Northern Armory come to the ring. The crowd gets on Alexander’s case with “Baldie” chants. Alexander says Santana was injured last week and can’t wrestle at TNA Genesis. Santana’s theme hits and he comes out through the crowd.

From the crowd, Santana cuts a promo and says as long as he can breathe he’ll fight. He says it will be an “I Quit” match between them at TNA Genesis. Alexander says if Santana can ever make him say “I Quit” he’ll shake his hand.

He says that’ll never happen, though. Santana vows to be the new standard-bearer in TNA. On that note, the show heads into another commercial time out.

Jake Something defeats Laredo Kid

When the show returns, Laredo Kid’s theme hits and the masked fan-favorite immediately makes his way out to the ring for the next match of the evening here on the TNA Genesis 2025 “go-home show.”

After Kid settles in the ring, his music dies down. The entrance tune for his opponent hits, and out comes Jake Something. The bell sounds and this one-on-one contest gets officially off-and-running.

Fans chant for Kid straight out of the gate. He starts off well, but Something quickly takes over. He launches Kid to the entrance ramp. Kid fights back with forearms upon returning to the ring. Something blasts him with a single forearm that drops him. He goes for the cover, but only gets two.

Kid hits a wild DDT off a flip that gets a close two-count on the big man. Something takes over from there. He sits the masked man on the ropes and climbs up after him. He hits a super Something bomb off the ropes for the pinfall victory.

Ace Austin Ready To Capture Gold This Sunday

After the match, a really excellent, extended video package airs to tell the journey of Ace Austin in TNA, leading up to his big TNA X-Division Championship showdown against Moose at TNA Genesis this Sunday night.

A lot was made of his connection to Chris Bey and how he’s doing this in his honor. The show heads into another commercial break after this wraps up.

The Hardys defeated PCO & Sami Callihan

It’s main event (match) time!

When the show returns, Sami Callihan’s music hits and out comes “The Death Machine” for the final match of the evening. He settles in the ring to a big pop from the Atlanta crowd, and then his partner’s entrance tune hits. Out comes “The French-Canadian Frankenstein.”

As PCO settles in the ring, the ominous and cryptic “It’s just a number” 23 vignette airs as the lights in the Impact Zone goes out. We move on, however, as the iconic sounds of The Hardys’ entrance tune hits. Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy make their way out for this non-title match.

If Callihan and PCO get the victory in this one, they will be added to the TNA Tag-Team title tilt at TNA Genesis involving The Hardys and The Rascalz. The bell sounds. It will be Jeff Hardy and Sami Callihan kicking things off for their respective teams. Fans loudly chant “Hardy! Hardy!”

Callihan jumps into the early offensive lead. He quickly tags in PCO. The two go for a double-team spot, but Matt hits the ring to prevent it. All four end up in a dramatic staredown before a wild brawl breaks out between all four guys.

As the fight spreads out to the floor, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break. As soon as the show returns, The Hardys are seen hitting their trademark Poetry in Motion double-team spot on Callihan for a two-count. The Rascalz are shown in split-screen watching on.

Callihan takes back over on offense and tags in PCO. The big man hits the ring and continues to pummel Matt Hardy. Jeff eventually gets the much-needed hot tag to help shift the momentum back into the favor of The Hardys. Jeff hits his trademark Whisper in the Wind spot for a close two-count.

Jeff hits a Twist of Fate on Callihan. Matt follows up with a Twist of Fate on Callihan of his own. Jeff climbs to the top-rope and takes his shirt off. He hits a Swanton Bomb and goes for the cover. 1-2-3. The Hardys win. It will be The Hardys vs. The Rascalz in a pure tag-team title “dream match” at TNA Genesis. The show heads to another commercial break.

Nic Nemeth, Joe Hendry Go Face-To-Face

It’s main event (segment) time!

The show returns to an on-screen appearance by Hannifan and Rehwoldt. They plug TNA Genesis 2025 this Sunday. As they talk about the show, Jordynne Grace approaches the desk and puts a headset on while standing. She leaves a contract on the table and says Tessa Blanchard hasn’t signed yet.

She’s leaving it here so it’s easy to find and there are no excuses. Their match isn’t signed for Sunday yet, and Grace says if Blanchard doesn’t show up, it won’t be the first time. She storms off. The commentators finish running down the lineup for Sunday’s show.

Inside the Impact Zone, the familiar sounds of the viral smash hit, “I Believe in Joe Hendry” hits. Out comes the TNA home-grown star to the ring for the final segment of the evening. Nic Nemeth’s entrance tune hits next and the TNA World Champion joins him in the ring for their face-to-face.

Hendry begins on the microphone first. He talks about how he has to win this Sunday. He says he will, and a new era will begin in TNA, which will start with him lifting up the TNA World Championship. Fans react with loud “We believe! We believe!” chants.

Nemeth acknowledges that clearly everyone still believes in Joe Hendry. He says Hendry needs to know one thing, though. He knows what the TNA World Championship means to him and everyone else out there. He says he damn well better believe he knows what it’s like to hold that title.

Nemeth says this isn’t just a chance for a shot, or a music video or a tweet. This is every single day. It’s an entire different level, and you live that way every single day, not even sleeping some nights. He doesn’t know if Hendry is quite ready for that yet.

He says Hendry has earned everything he’s got so far, and he’s said it every step of the way. He wants to clear the air on one last thing. He asks the production truck to play a clip for him. We see footage of JBL taking out Hendry with a Clothesline from Hell at TNA Bound For Glory 2024, and then doing the same to Ryan Nemeth.

Nemeth says what JBL did was all on him. He says he was out and unaware it was even happening. He says when he came to, what he did see was JBL taking his brother’s head off. He says had he known he’d interfered, it’d of been a different story.

All he knew was his brother had his head taken off and Hendry was pulling himself into the ring. Hendry says let’s assume everything Nemeth said is true. He says one thing still doesn’t make sense. Ryan Nemeth’s theme hits. He tells Nemeth that Hendry is a two-timer.

He doesn’t care about the title or the fans or Nemeth. Joe Hendry cares about one thing — Joe Hendry. Hendry says he’s wasted enough time on Ryan Nemeth. Ryan tells him to say it to his face. Ryan hits the ring and Hendry hoists him up for a Standing Ovation, only for Nemeth to take him out with a super kick.

Nic and Ryan Nemeth stand over a fallen Hendry and look down at him. Hendry comes to and looks up at them. Fans chant “Kick your brother!” as Nic, who slowly walks over and picks up his TNA World Championship. He puts it on his shoulder and stands next to his brother.

He leaves the ring as his theme plays. Hendry continues to recover in the ring as Hannifan and Rehwoldt plug this Sunday’s TNA Genesis 2025 pay-per-view one final time. Tessa Blanchard hits the commentary desk and signs the contract that Grace left earlier.

She grabs Hannifan, but Grace shows up and snatches her up from behind. She slams her over the barricade and brings her in the ring. She hoists Blanchard up but Blanchard escapes out the back door. Blanchard goes for a move, but Grace blocks it. Grace yells, “This is MY division — MINE!”

She hits a Juggernaut Driver and leaves Blanchard laying. Her theme hits as she grabs Tessa and rolls her out of her ring. She stands tall in the ring as the TNA Genesis 2025 “go-home” episode of TNA Impact comes to a close. Thanks for joining us!

Matt Hardy could see The Hardys wrestling WWE match in 2025

With the working relationship that exists between WWE and TNA Wrestling, Matt Hardy could see a WWE return happening for The Hardys in 2025.

Matt was the guest on today’s episode of Insight with Chris Van Vliet, which was uploaded ahead of TNA’s Genesis pay-per-view taking place this weekend. Van Vliet brought up that Matt’s podcast co-host Jon Alba has predicted that The Hardys will wrestle a match for WWE in 2025. Matt said he feels good about that prediction and could even see The Hardys appearing for WWE as TNA Tag Team Champions.

“That was actually one of his bold predictions, The Hardys will wrestle a match in WWE before the year is over,” Matt said. “I feel good about that. That’s one of the great things about working with TNA now. They know that we do have a lot of love for WWE. They know that we would like to one day do the Hall of Fame. We filmed some content for WWE that’ll probably be dropping pretty soon. I saw The Dudleys did it the day before us, and I know theirs just dropped recently. But we have a good working relationship with them. I think [if] the perfect storm arose, I think you could see us pop up even as TNA champs on some WWE show at some point. Who knows?”

Matt & Jeff Hardy are the current TNA Tag Team Champions and have a title defense against The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) at Genesis this Sunday. In November of last year, it was announced that The Hardys have re-signed with TNA.

A TNA champion was featured on WWE NXT this week with Masha Slamovich being shown in the crowd. WWE shared a video after the episode teasing that Slamovich could be back in NXT to defend her Knockouts Championship.

Matt Hardy told Van Vliet that he believes the WWE-TNA relationship is a very good thing for business.

“If a TNA star goes and shows up on NXT, they seem like a bigger star. It’s a great star-building moment for them,” Matt said. “And with that same thing being said, TNA is a company that has been around for over two decades. And if you send an NXT talent to TNA, they seem like a bigger star for being there too.”

The Hardys filmed yet-to-be-released digital content for WWE during SummerSlam week in 2024. Last month, WWE uploaded a Retrospective feature with Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley looking back at some of their greatest moments.

The Hardys vs. PCO and Sami Callihan set for next TNA Impact

A tag team match with Genesis implications is set for the Thursday, January 16 TNA Impact.

TNA Tag Team Champions Matt and Jeff Hardy will face Sami Callihan and PCO on next week’s Impact, with Callihan and PCO added to the TNA Tag Team title match at Genesis on January 19 should they win. The Hardys are currently set to defend against Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz at Genesis.

Three more matches are also set for next week’s Impact, with First Class’s AJ Francis & KC Navarro taking on Steve Maclin & Eric Young, Jake Something vs. Laredo Kid, plus a Trent Seven vs. Leon Slater tilt.

A “championship celebration” segment with Ash by Elegance and Heather by Elegance has also been announce for next week. The Elegances will challenge Spitfire for the Knockouts Tag Team titles at Genesis.

TNA Final Resolution live results: Four title matches

Tonight’s TNA Final Resolution from Atlanta’s Center Stage will feature four title matches, a no. 1 contender’s match, and more in the company’s final big event of the year.

TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth defends against AJ Francis in the headliner while Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich defends against former champion Tasha Steelz.

Tag Team Champions The Hardys continue their rivalry with The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) in a tables match, and X-Division Champion Moose defends against KUSHIDA.

The World title contender for January’s Genesis PPV will be determined in a four-way with Joe Hendry vs. Josh Alexander vs. Mike Santana vs. Steve Maclin.

Jordynne Grace will look to rebound from her string of losses as she faces Rosemary.

The main card is rounded out by Trent Seven vs. Ace Austin, and a tag team three-way between The Rascalz vs. PCO & Sami Callihan vs. Hammerstone & Jake Something.

Leon Slater vs. JDC and Jonathan Gresham vs. Frankie Kazarian make up the pre-show.

The “Countdown to Final Resolution” pre-show kicks off at 7:30pm EST. inside the sold out Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia with Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt welcoming us to the show.

We head directly to the ring for the first of two scheduled pre-show matches. JDC of The System and Leon Slater make their respective ring walks and then the bell sounds to get things started.

JDC takes the early offensive lead, but Slater remains competitive and eventually takes over after hitting a wild high spot from the ring to the floor that pops the Atlanta crowd for the first time of the evening.

Back inside the ring, JDC takes back over and settles into a prolonged offensive lead, controlling the action for the next couple of minutes as fans try and rally behind Slater. JDC heads to the top-rope, but Slater hits a unique leaping kick that sends him crashing and burning down on the floor.

“Big Blade Slater” runs and in a single leap, easily clears the top-rope, flipping and splashing on JDC at ringside. Back in the ring, Slater looks for the top-rope 450 senton, but JDC avoids it.

JDC covers Slater and gets his feet on the ropes for added leverage for the pinfall victory. Fans loudly chant “Bullsh*t! Bullsh*t!” in reaction to the finish. Ouch. Not the ideal start to the night TNA was picturing.

Gia Miller Announces Hammerstone Is Off Tonight’s Show

In what is becoming a tradition for TNA Wrestling pay-per-view pre-shows, Gia Miller checks in with a breaking news announcement. She informs the viewing audience at home that Hammerstone has suffered an injury.

As a result, he is out of the scheduled multi-team bout. Jake Something enters the scene and insists that he can handle things by himself tonight, and doesn’t need a replacement partner.

Frankie Kazarian defeated Jonathan Gresham

Back inside the Impact Zone at Center Stage in Atlanta, the theme for the 2024 Call Your Shot Gauntlet winner, Frankie Kazarian, hits. The self-proclaimed “King of TNA” makes his way to the ring with his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy in-hand. The fans boo the hell out of him as he settles in the ring.

His music dies down and now the entrance tune for his opponent plays. “The Octopus” Jonathan Gresham makes his way to the ring in front of his home state fans in Georgia. The sold-out crowd is strongly behind their guy, too, as they drown out his theme music with loud cheers and pro-Gresham chants.

The bell sounds and the second and final pre-show match of the “Countdown to Final Resolution” show gets underway. Before they engage, Kazarian demands the ring announcer re-introduce him as “The King of TNA.”

She begrudgingly does, the fans boo, and then Kazarian rushes Gresham and sneak-attacks him to start this one off hot. Gresham fights back and we see several minutes spent with amateur-style grappling and mat-based submission work.

After the pace picks back up, Kazarian starts to take over. He tries a pin with his feet on the ropes, but it doesn’t work out for him. Seconds later, however, he locks in the chicken wing submission, forcing a tap from “The Octopus” and giving him the win. Kazarian poses with his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy afterwards.

Moose (c) defeated KUSHIDA to retain TNA X-Division Championship

The “Countdown to Final Resolution” pre-show wraps up and the elaborate cold open video package airs to start the main pay-per-view portion of the show. Inside the Impact Zone at Center Stage in Atlanta, GA., Hannifan and Rehwoldt welcome us to the final special event for TNA Wrestling of 2024.

KUSHIDA’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring for the title opportunity he earned. He settles inside the squared circle and his music dies down. The catchy-ass entrance tune for his opponent plays, and out comes the reigning and defending TNA X-Division Champion Moose.

After the bell sounds, things get off to a quick start, with Moose immediately imposing his size and strength advantages over his smaller challenger. KUSHIDA capitalizes on one mistake by the champ and goes to work on his arm.

He continues to focus his attack on the limb, softening him up for the Surfboard Lock later in the match. He knocks Moose out to the floor and goes for a dive, but Moose catches him and Donkey Kong’s him onto the floor at ringside.

He hoists him up and powerbombs him onto the hard part of the ring apron outside of the ring ropes. Moose has it won via count-out, with the referee reaching the count of nine with KUSHIDA still unconscious and not moving, but Moose stops the referee from reaching the count of ten.

Moose then exits the ring and sprints around the ringside area around the ring. He looks for a super spear, but KUSHIDA side-steps him and sends him crashing into the steel ring steps with authority. KUSHIDA takes over back inside the ring and works over Moose’s arm some more.

This doesn’t last for long, however, as Moose quickly shifts the momentum back in his favor. Moose goes to work on KUSHIDA, all-the-while selling his left arm as nearly unusable as a result of the spear into the steps on the floor and other targeted offense from KUSHIDA early in the bout.

KUSHIDA begins showing signs of life, and ultimately fights back into competitive form. The challenger takes over and eventually gets the champion in his Surfboard Lock submission on his bad arm.

Moose struggles for quite a while in the hold, but eventually makes it to the ropes to break the hold. Moments later, Moose takes KUSHIDA out with a big spear for the win to retain the TNA X-Division Championship.

The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel) defeated Sami Callihan & PCO and Jake Something

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews AJ Francis and KC Navarro. Francis vows to capture the TNA World Championship from Nic Nemeth tonight. After the brief backstage interview segment wraps up, we head back inside the Impact Zone for the second main card bout of the evening.

The theme for The Rascalz hits and out comes the fan-favorite duo of Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel to a big pop. They settle inside the squared circle, their music dies down, and then the entrance tune of Sami Callihan hits to bring out “The Death Machine.”

PCO’s music plays next and the crowd roars as “The French-Canadian Frankenstein” heads to the ring to join his partner Callihan in this multi-team match. After the first two teams settle in the ring, Jake Something’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring alone.

As noted during the “Countdown to Final Resolution” pre-show, Hammerstone suffered an injury and as a result, was forced out of his scheduled match alongside Something tonight. The bell sounds and The Rascalz jump off to an early offensive lead.

The crowd comes alive throughout the first few minutes of this match unlike they have at any other point thus far in the show. Wentz and Miguel hit some cool double-team spots on Something and then PCO enters the ring and starts to take over.

Fans chant “PCO! PCO!” as he works over Miguel before tagging in Callihan. Callihan hits the ring and picks up where PCO left off, taking it to one-half of The Rascalz. Something gets back in the mix, but is taken out once again and left selling on the floor. Miguel hits a big high spot to PCO.

Callihan teases a big dive to the floor, but instead sends Wentz sailing over the ropes and out to the floor. Callihan teases it again, but instead, PCO heads to the top-rope and leaps, connecting with a PCO-sault onto the pile of bodies at ringside. Fans go nuts and we see instant replays.

Back in the ring, Callihan hits Miguel with a stunner. PCO enters the ring, but is beaten down by Miguel and Wentz. Something hits the ring and powerbombs Wentz and then powerbombs Miguel onto Wentz as he was on all fours. Something hoists up Callihan and hits a seated powerbomb.

He blasts PCO with a boot to the bread basket and hits a fourth powerbomb. PCO does The Undertaker “Deadman” sit-up and stands behind Something as he boasts to the crowd. Something turns around and PCO looks for an inverted DDT.

Instead is blasted by Miguel, who runs from the entrance ramp and leaps over the ropes with a big kick. Wentz follows in with a big cutter over the ropes. Both members of The Rascalz double-team Something and hit their finisher for the win to put an end to this exciting match.

Mystery 23 Video Plays Again

After the match, Callihan shows good sportsmanship, sharing a group hug with both members of The Rascalz. As they hug it out in a sign of mutual respect, the lights go out and the cryptic “23” video plays.

“It’s just a number!” The video ends and the lights come back on. Fans chant “What was that?! What was that?!” as the competitors still in the ring play into the confusion.

Ace Austin defeated Trent Seven

Backstage, Eric Young approaches Steve Maclin and gives him a pep talk ahead of his high stakes Fatal-4-Way No. 1 Contender match for a shot at the TNA World Championship. He tells Maclin he sees the world title in his future, and says as always, he’ll have his back.

Inside Center Stage, the theme for Trent Seven hits to set the stage for the next match of the show. He settles in the ring and the entrance tune for Ace Austin plays. The ABC tag-team member heads to the ring to a good crowd reaction.

The bell sounds and Seven gets the early offensive jump on Austin, who fights back and keeps things competitive. Austin starts to take over and stops momentarily to yell, “This one’s for Chris Bey!” He hits a big high spot, but after that, Seven starts to take over again.

Seven connects with a brutal Birminghammer on the hard part of the ring apron outside of the ring ropes. Austin isn’t moving. Seven covers him, but Austin gets his foot on the ropes just in time to avoid the three-count.

Trent starts to stalk Ace as he remains laid out in the ring. He grabs his hand and shushes the crowd before yanking and twisting the fingers to the point that cracking sounds were clearly audible. Austin fights back with a spinning heel kick that flattens Seven.

Austin goes for The Art of Finesse, but Seven avoids it and connects with a Seven-Star Lariat. He follows up with a piledriver and immediately goes for the cover, only for Austin to somehow kick out at the count of one. Austin hits The Art of Finesse this time and follows up with his finisher for the win.

Jordynne Grace defeated Rosemary via Disqualification

Highlights are shown of Frankie Kazarian’s victory over Jonathan Gresham on the “Countdown to Final Resolution” pre-show. Backstage, he talks live with his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy in his hands.

The self-proclaimed “King of TNA” claims his night is not over yet, teasing cashing in for the TNA World Championship later in the show. After the brief backstage segment wraps up, the stage gets set for the next match.

Rosemary’s theme hits and out she comes for scheduled Knockouts action. She heads to the ring and crawls into the camera, delivering a quick demonic message to the viewing audience before wrapping up her entrance.

The sirens sound and the theme for Jordynne Grace hits to bring out “The Juggernaut.” The former Knockouts Champion heads to the ring to a big reaction from the Atlanta crowd. The bell sounds and off we go.

Grace gets off to a strong start on offense, but it isn’t long at all before Rosemary takes over and settles into a lengthy run in control of the action. Rosemary gets her upside down spot on Grace through the ropes. Grace fights back and nearly has this one in the bag, when out of nowhere a mystery attacker strikes and the match is throw out.

Tessa Blanchard Returns, Attacks Jordynne Grace

Someone in a big puffed out jacket and ski mask beats down “The Juggernaut,” eventually unveiling herself to be Tessa Blanchard. Afterwards, Gia Miller scrambles to catch up with her backstage to ask her to explain her actions. She says she’s back to get what’s rightfully hers. She shoves Gia and walks off.

Joe Hendry defeated Josh Alexander, Steve Maclin and Mike Santana to earn World Title shot at TNA Genesis 2025

It’s time to find out who is going to be next-in-line for whomever emerges as TNA World Champion after tonight’s main event between reigning champion Nic Nemeth and challenger AJ Francis. Up next is the Fatal-4-Way No. 1 Contender match to determine the next title challenger.

Eric Young makes his way out first to join Hannifan and Rehwoldt on special guest commentary for this bout. Steve Maclin, Josh Alexander, Mike Santana and finally, Joe Hendry, each make their respective ring walks. The bell sounds and all four men stare each other down.

They all collide and begin getting after it. Within seconds, Santana hits a big dive from the ring to the floor on Alexander. As the action continues, Alexander and Hendry are left alone in the ring for a few minutes to mix it up while Maclin and Santana sell on the floor.

Alexander beats on Hendry, but as fans loudly chant “We Believe! We Believe!” Hendry starts no-selling the offense from “The Walking Weapon” and “Hulk’ing up,” ala Hulk Hogan’s infamous comeback routine. Alexander dumps Hendry out to the floor and Santana enters the ring.

Fans chant “Santana! Santana!” as he and Alexander grill each other. They finally engage, and although Santana was holding his own, it is Alexander who gains the upper-hand, knocking Santana on the ring apron and sliding in with double-knees to the back to knock him to the floor.

Alexander runs over and blasts Maclin just as he was finally recovering on the floor. Back in the ring, Alexander hits a big fireman’s carry slam on Santana and then a middle rope knee to the back of Santana’s head for a two-count. Westside Gunn is shown in a cameo appearance in the crowd.

Santana hits the rolling Buck-50 on Alexander to slow down his dominant momentum. The two fight their way up to the top-rope, where they duke it out up there. Hendry and Maclin scoop Alexander up on their shoulders and Santana leaps off the top-rope, connecting with a super-blockbuster for a huge pop and subsequent “TNA! TNA!” chant from the Atlanta crowd.

Hendry hits a super-fall-away slam to Alexander off the ropes. Santana and Maclin follow up with high spots immediately afterwards, but the subsequent pin attempts are broken up. We see dive after dive from the ring to the floor, culminating with Hendry running and clearing the top-rope for a big splash onto the pile of bodies at ringside.

The crowd explodes and settles into a loud “This is Awesome! This is Awesome!” chant. Alexander takes Santana and zip-ties him to a barricade at ringside. In the ring, Maclin looks for the K.I.A. on Hendry, only for Alexander to low-blow him.

Hendry hits Standing Ovation on Alexander seconds later for the win. Joe Hendry is moving on to challenge the winner of tonight’s main event for the TNA World Championship at the TNA Genesis 2025 pay-per-view in January.

Masha Slamovich (c) defeated Tasha Steelz in a Falls Count Anywhere match to retain the TNA Knockouts Championship

The stage is set for the next match of the evening, which features the TNA Knockouts Championship on-the-line. Tasha Steelz makes her way out accompanied by Alisha Edwards. She settles inside the squared circle and then reigning and defending champion Masha Slamovich makes her way out.

Before the match begins, the familiar sounds of Santino Marella’s theme hits and out comes the TNA Director of Authority. He mentions the Falls Count Anywhere stipulation added to this match before tonight’s show went on the air live.

He also brings up Edwards’ past and says she’s not only banned from ringside tonight, she’s not allowed in the building. He carries her out and then the bell sounds to get things officially off-and-running.

After some back-and-forth action inside the ring ropes, the two fight their way around the ringside area. As they continue to battle, they find themselves up near the top of the entrance way. Slamovich ends up hitting her finisher and scoring the pinfall in the aisle to retain.

The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) (c) defeated The System (Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards) in a Tables Match to retain the TNA World Tag-Team Championships

The video package for the co-main event of the evening airs to tell the story leading up to our third of four scheduled world championship matches on tonight’s year-end TNA Wrestling pay-per-view.

After the pre-match package wraps up, The System duo of Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards make their way to the ring to boos from the fans in attendance. They settle inside the ring and their music dies down.

We hear the iconic entrance tune for the reigning and defending TNA Tag-Team Champions, The Hardys, and out comes Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy for their latest title defense. The Atlanta crowd gives them by far the loudest pop of the evening.

A sustained roar grows in intensity and general volume as the legendary team settles inside the ring for their rematch against the team they originally beat to start this reign with the TNA Tag-Team Championships. The bell sounds and off we go.

Matt and Jeff both team up on Myers, before turning their attention to Edwards. They hit their trademark Poetry in Motion double-team spot in the corner and then the two go back to work on Myers. Matt hits a Plot Twist on him and then Jeff hits one on his partner.

Matt shoves Jeff and yells, “Get the tables!” The crowd didn’t seem to follow at all, but they were so clearly doing The Dudley Boyz routine from back in the Attitude Era in WWE. They head out to the floor and pull out a table, which they bring into the ring and set up together.

Hannifan casually mentions how it was good to see the legendary Raven backstage earlier tonight as The System start to fight back and take over. Myers and Edwards get rid of Jeff Hardy, who is selling on the floor as the duo set their sights on Matt. They double-team him and eventually set the table back up.

The two hoist Matt up and plant him down through the table. It was stressed during the opening moments of this one that both members of a given team must each be put through a table before the match is over. Thus, The System are half way there.

They head out to the floor and set up two tables in different spots at ringside. They grab Jeff and throw him out to the floor. On the way down, Jeff breaks through a part of the table that was set up. Whoops! Although the match should be technically over with new champions, they quickly toss that table out of the way.

They continue without the commentators bringing it up or crowd reacting in any real way. As they set up another table in position, they go to work on Jeff, only for Matt to recover and re-enter the picture. Matt hits a Twist of Fate to Myers through a table. Now The Hardys are half-way to victory as well.

Whoever is put through a table next, Edwards or Jeff Hardy, will mark the end of this tables match title tilt. As the action continues, Edwards ends up getting in a fans face in the front row. The fan throws a playful, very slight slap, but it connects.

Edwards slaps the holy hell out of the fan in return, and then shoving him, prompting two referees to jump in and make sure nothing escalates. Very odd scene that seemed all too real. Edwards yells directly into the camera, “I’m still having fun!” Myers sends Matt into the ring post and low-blows him.

Myers scrambles into the ring to stop Jeff from hitting a Twist of Fate on Edwards. Myers and Edwards join up and double-team Jeff as the second super loud-and-clearly audible “F**k The System!” chant spreads like wildfire throughout Center Stage in Atlanta.

Edwards and Myers grab Jeff and bring him into the crowd. They fight through the fans and reach the mezzanine level. They set up a table over there directly in front of a doorway with a balcony. They gloat and taunt the fans after laying Jeff on the table, only for Matt to bust through the aforementioned doors.

Matt beats down Myers and Edwards as Jeff recovers. The Hardys use chairs and then yet again we see a piece of a table broken due to Jeff. This time the commentators point out that because The System didn’t specifically put Jeff through the table, it doesn’t count and the match continues.

After getting rid of the table that partially broke, Matt sets up another one and puts Edwards on it. Jeff climbs the balcony, takes his shirt off and the girls scream. He makes his way to the railing, which he steps up on and leaps off, connecting with a Swanton Bomb that puts Edwards through the table down below. The bell sounds and The Hardys successfully retain their TNA Tag-Team Championships in a crowd-friendly tables match.

Nic Nemeth (c) defeated AJ Francis (w/ KC Navarro) to retain the TNA World Championship

It’s main event time!

The pre-match video package airs to tell the story leading up to the final match of the year-end TNA Final Resolution 2024 pay-per-view, which will feature “The Wanted Man” Nic Nemeth defending his TNA World Championship against First Class’ AJ Francis.

After the video package wraps up, the theme for First Class hits and out comes the self-proclaimed “best heel in the business,” AJ Francis. He makes his way to the ring accompanied by KC Navarro. The Atlanta crowd helps him live up to his self-proclaimed industry-leading heel claims, at least for this show, as they boo him like crazy.

The entrance tune for his opponent hits after he settles inside the squared circle. Out comes the reigning and defending TNA World Champion “The Wanted Man” Nic Nemeth. The ring announcer handles the final formal ring introductions for the champion and challenger, and then the bell sounds to get things underway.

Nemeth superkicks the hell out of Francis immediately, and follows up with a quick cover. He only gets a count of one, so he continues to work over the big challenger. He hops on his back with a sleeper-hold, but Francis escapes. Nemeth goes for a bodyslam, but struggles, and Francis takes over.

As Francis settles into his first offensive lead of the match, the fans can be heard randomly booing in the background. The camera shot switches to show 2024 Call Your Shot Gauntlet winner Frankie Kazarian walking down the ramp with his trophy in-hand. He joins Hannifan and Rehwoldt on commentary.

Nemeth, meanwhile, sees Navarro getting involved at ringside, so he turns his attention to him. He goes to drill him, but Francis sneaks in a shot from behind Navarro, allowing him to take back over the offensive lead. He slams Nemeth onto the ring apron and rolls him back into the ring.

Francis heads to the top-rope, but Nemeth cuts him off. Nemeth ends up powerbombing the big man off the ropes. This, for some reason, prompts Kazarian to mention on commentary that it “made his balls tingle.” That’s a direct quote.

Nemeth continues to settle into the offensive driver’s seat again after hitting the Jerry Lawler heart attack special rapid-elbows routine. Navarro gets involved again at ringside, this time prompting Nemeth to grab him by the hair from the ring.

Navarro drops down to the floor, which pulls Nemeth throat-first over the top-rope. Nemeth then turns into a huge spear from Francis for a close two-count. Francis climbs up to the middle rope backwards and leaps off with a Vader-Bomb for a close two-count.

Moments later, Navarro gets involved yet again from ringside. This time it was one time too many, as the referee ejects him from ringside. Francis, meanwhile, picks up Nemeth for a suplex. Nemeth escapes out of the back-door and connects with his Danger Zone finisher out of nowhere for a close two-count.

Francis fights back and goes for a moonsault off the ropes, only for Nemeth to move out of the way at the last moment. Nemeth follows up with a FameAsser on Francis for another close two-count. Francis hits a neck-breaker after catching Nemeth across his shoulders. He goes for the cover, but only gets two.

AJ Francis stalks Nemeth as he waits for him to get up. He calls for the Down Payment, and as he signals for it, Nemeth starts to finally move. The champ gets up and walks right into a Down Payment from the challenger, but has the presence of mind to roll to the floor upon landing, taking Francis’ ability to pin him out of the equation.

Francis heads out to the floor after Nemeth. The two exchange shots and then Nemeth backs up and jumps on Francis. Francis catches him and hits another neck-breaker from the entrance ramp into the ring. Francis goes to hoist Nemeth up, but Nemeth counters with a Fame-Asser, a super kick and then the Danger Zone for the pinfall victory.

With the win, Nemeth successfully retains his TNA World Championship. As soon as the match ends, KC Navarro, who was ejected from ringside, runs back out and joins Francis in a post-match attack of the champ. They continue beating Nemeth down until Joe Hendry’s theme hits.

The next challenger for TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth at next month’s TNA Genesis 2025 pay-per-view runs down to make the save. He clears the ring of Francis and Navarro. He turns around to pick up the TNA World Championship, and as he does, Nemeth happens to be recovering and returning to his feet.

Nemeth angrily yanks his title out of Hendry’s hands and raises it high in the air. Nemeth and Hendry jaw back-and-forth face-to-face in the middle of the ring as Nemeth’s theme hits and Hannifan wraps up the show on commentary. That’s how the TNA Final Resolution 2024 show goes off the air.

TNA Impact live results: The Hardys defend the Tag Team titles

The fallout from last Friday’s Turning Point will be felt on tonight’s edition of TNA Impact.

The Tag Team titles will be on the line as Jeff & Matt Hardy defend the gold against former champions The System (Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards) who enabled their contractual rematch.

After JBL again appeared and assisted him with a win, TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth will appear to address his latest title defense over Edwards last Friday.

In a clash of former Knockouts Champions, Jordynne Grace and Tasha Steelz will go one-on-one.

In a five-way that will determine the Final Resolution challenger for X-Division Champion Moose, it will be Ace Austin vs. Trent Seven vs. Leon Slater vs. KUSHIDA vs. JDC.

PCO & Sami Callihan take on The Good Hands (John Skyler & Jason Hotch) while The Northern Army (Josh Alexander, Judas Icarus & Travis Williams) team with Frankie Kazarian against Mike Santana, Eric Young, Steve Maclin & Jonathan Gresham.

KUSHIDA defeats Trent Seven, Ace Austin, Leon Slater & JDC to become new TNA X-Division Championship No. 1 Contender

Inside the Impact Zone, we are welcomed by Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt, who mention that the focus is now on the final TNA Wrestling special event of the year, the upcoming TNA Final Resolution 2024 show.

On that note, Trent Seven makes his way to the ring for opening action. Ace Austin comes out next. Already in the ring are the other three members of this match, Leon Slater, JDC and KUSHIDA.

The bell sounds to get things started in this TNA X-Division Championship No. 1 Contender bout, where the winner will move on to challenge Moose for the title at TNA Final Resolution 2024. KUSHIDA and JDC end up laid out on the floor.

As Seven and Slater brawl at ringside, Austin hits a dive from the ring to take them both out. From the ring apron, Austin takes out Slater and JDC. He returns in the ring, and is taken out by Seven. JDC joins him and the two work over Austin together.

Austin fights back and takes over control of the offense. as KUSHIDA re-enters the picture, Austin hits an homage to his ABC partner Chris Bey, connecting with the Art of Finesse for a close two-count. KUSHIDA fights back and gets an armbar on Austin, but Slater hits a crossover splash to break it up.

Slater follows that up with an absolutely insane twisting splash off the top-rope onto a pile of bodies on the floor at ringside. The crowd goes wild and breaks out in “TNA! TNA!” chants. Slater heads to the top-rope again, but JDC rams Seven into the corner to crotch him.

Austin hits a superplex to Slater off of JDC and Seven’s backs in the corner for a close pin attempt, which Seven breaks up. Fans react with an enthusiastic “This is Awesome!” chant. Seven goes for the Seven-Star Lariat, but walks into a Pele kick from KUSHIDA.

Moments later, KUSHIDA hits Back To The Future for the pinfall victory. With the win, KUSHIDA moves on to challenge Moose for the TNA X-Division Championship at TNA Final Resolution 2024.

Gia Miller Interviews Tasha Steelz

Backstage, Gia Miller is joined by Tasha Steelz. She asks her about her match tonight against former TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace. Steelz mentions she too is a former TNA Knockouts Champion and calls “The Juggernaut” a thorn in her side that she vows to remove tonight.

After this wraps up, Hannifan and Rehwoldt run down the lineup still to come tonight, and then the show heads into a commercial break.

Sami Callihan & PCO defeated The Good Hands (John Skyler & Jason Hotch)

When the show returns, The Good Hands duo of Jason Hotch and John Skyler make their way to the ring, cutting a heel promo as always. They settle inside the ring and finish trashing North Carolina, and then the theme for Sami Callihan hits.

Out he comes, and is joined by PCO. The two head to the ring for scheduled tag-team action. The bell sounds to get things going. Callihan blasts Hotch coming out of the gate. Callihan settles into the early offensive lead.

After some more back-and-forth action, we work towards the finish, which sees PCO hit a top-rope PCO-sault off of the shoulders of Callihan, who provides the assist. The two score the pin fall victory for the big win.

Afterwards, a cryptic video plays. “What was that?” asked Hannifan. “I don’t know,” Rehwoldt replied. The show heads into another commercial break after the tag-team tilt wraps up.

AJ Francis Gets World Title Match At TNA Final Resolution 2024

The show returns from the break to TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth talking about how it’s been a big 2024 for him and TNA Wrestling. As he continues talking, he is cut off by the First Class duo of AJ Francis and KC Navarro.

Francis agrees that Nemeth has had a good 2024, but he says he’s had the best year of his career in 2024. The back-and-forth continues until Francis tries taunting Nemeth into a title shot. TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella walks up.

Francis pitches a world title bout between the two for TNA Final Resolution 2024 in Atlanta, GA. Santino confirms it. Francis calls it the best decision he’s ever made and vows it’ll be the biggest box office move TNA has ever made.

Back inside the Impact Zone, The System theme hits and out comes Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers accompanied by Alisha Edwards. They settle into the squared circle for their rematch for the TNA Tag-Team Championships.

The theme for their opponents hits, and as the iconic sounds of The Hardys theme plays inside the building in their home state of North Carolina, Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy emerge to an enormous reaction from the crowd.

After the bell sounds, Edwards and Matt Hardy kick things off for their respective teams. After a thumb to the eye, Edwards tags out and in comes Myers. Matt makes the tag to Jeff, and the two hit some double-team spots on The System member as fans chant “Hardy! Hardy!”

Myers chop-blocks Matt’s knee from behind, which shifts the offensive momentum into the favor of The System. On that note, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break as Myers continues to work over Hardy.

When the show returns, we see The System still in a comfortable offensive lead, with Alisha even getting involved at ringside. The Hardys finally start to shift the momentum back in their favor. After a Plot Twist and a Swanton, we see a super close pin attempt, only for it to be broken up.

On the floor, Myers and Edwards are on one side of the ring setting up a table. The Hardys come over and beat them down and as they get ready to put them through the table, Alisha attacks them from behind with a kendo stick.

The referee calls for the bell. The Hardys win and retain via DQ. The System continue to attack Matt and Jeff. They hit a Boston Knee Party and then lay Matt across the aforementioned table. Alisha delivers an additional kendo stick shot. Myers and Edwards powerbomb Jeff onto Matt through the table.

Backstage With Spitfire

Backstage, Dani Luna calms Jody Threat down as she freaks out about Ash By Elegance. Luna says she’s going to take out Heather by Elegance next week, and tells Threat she will do the same to Ash. They walk off to end the brief segment. Jordynne Grace vs. Tasha Steelz is up next. The show heads into another break.

Santino Marella Announces New TNA Final Resolution 2024 Match

When the show returns, the theme for TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella plays. He makes his way out to the top of the entrance stage and cuts a quick promo announcing The Hardys vs. The System in a Tables Match for the TNA World Tag-Team Championships at TNA Final Resolution 2024.

Tasha Steelz defeated Jordynne Grace

After a quick backstage segment, the show returns inside the Impact Zone, where Tasha Steelz’ theme hits. The women’s contender heads to the ring for our next match of the evening.

Steelz’ theme dies down and the entrance tune for her opponent, Jordynne Grace, hits. “The Juggernaut” heads to the ring as Hannifan and Rehwoldt talk on commentary about her loss at TNA Turning Point being the first in 500+ days.

As Steelz settles into the early offensive lead, Hannifan and Rehwoldt notice the disturbing image of Rosemary lurking in the rafters and watching on. As Steelz continues to work over Grace, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break.

When the show returns, we see some more back-and-forth action, with Rosemary again being shown watching on from the rafters. As Grace gets close to finishing things off, Alisha Edwards runs down with a kendo stick.

The distraction allows Steelz to roll-up “The Juggernaut.” She puts her feet on the ropes for added leverage and pulls off the upset victory. After the match, Grace lets her frustrations out on Edwards.

She ends up getting gobbled up by the numbers disadvantage, as Steelz and Edwards double-team her. TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich ends up running out to make the save. The show heads into another commercial break.

It’s main event time!

But first, we get the announcement of the lineup for next week’s TNA Final Resolution 2024 “go-home” episode of TNA Impact (see below), as well as the updated lineup for the December 13 special event in Atlanta, GA.

From there, Joe Hendry’s theme hits. Of course when you say his name, he appears, and out he comes to join Hannifan and Rehwoldt on special guest commentary for our big eight-man tag-team main event of this week’s show.

The competitors scheduled for the bout begin making their way out. Josh Alexander and The Northern Armory come out, as does the self-proclaimed “King of TNA” Frankie Kazarian. The latter taunts Hendry at the commentary desk, knocking his water over and taunting him.

Out comes the opposition, which includes Jonathan Gresham, Steve Maclin, Eric Young, and last but not least, Mike Santana. After Santana makes his way to the ring through the crowd, all eight men are ready to rock and roll. But first, the show heads into a quick pre-match commercial time out.

When the show returns, we see all eight men facing off with each other before the fireworks explode and they all collide for a big brawl before the bell. After the smoke clears, it is Gresham who jumps into the early offensive lead for his team, beating down one-third of The Northern Armory.

Maclin takes over after tagging in, but his run in the offensive driver’s seat is short-lived, as “The Walking Weapon” takes over for the heel side. Frankie Kazarian tags in and picks up where he left off. “The King of TNA” elicits another big brawl between all eight guys.

On that note, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break as the main event of the evening continues. When the show returns, fans are loudly chanting “Frankie sucks!” as the 2024 Call Your Shot Gauntlet winner works over Eric Young. Three matches announced for TNA Impact

During Friday’s Turning Point streaming special, the first three matches were announced for this Thursday’s edition of TNA Impact with their Final Resolution streaming special just two weeks away.

TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardys will be in action against opponents to be named. Jeff & Matt Hardy teamed with Ace Austin to pick up a victory over the debuting Matt Riddle, Zachary Wentz & KUSHIDA Friday.

After defending the title Friday, the next contender to Moose’s X-Division title will be determined in a five-way with the aforementioned Ace Austin and KUSHIDA, Trent Seven, JDC and Leon Slater doing battle.

After getting into a disagreement over a poker game Thursday, PCO & Sami Callihan will take on The Good Hands (Jason Hotch & John Skyler).

Here’s the current lineup:

The Hardys re-sign with TNA Wrestling

Matt and Jeff Hardy will remain in TNA Wrestling for the foreseeable future.

As first reported by Sports Illustrated, The Hardys have re-signed with the promotion. Terms of the deal have not been made public.

Matt Hardy said:

“It’s exciting. It’s exciting for us. We really believe in the direction that TNA is going. They’ve got a lot of big plans for 2025. They’ve taken great care of us. They have put myself and Jeff in positions to succeed, which we’re very grateful for. We love the crew there, from the boys and the girls in the locker room to the management. Everyone and everything is really clicking right now. It feels like the unity is strong. The brand is growing again. I see a lot of upward mobility for TNA over the course of the next year. Jeff and I will be part of that for the next year.”

The Hardys returned to the promotion earlier this year following their departures from AEW. Matt returned in April at Rebellion and would challenge Moose for the TNA World title at June’s Against All Odds. When The System continued to attack Matt following the match, Jeff returned to make the save, reuniting with his brother.

Since then, The Hardys won the TNA World Tag Team Championships for the third time, defeating ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) and The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) in a Full Metal Mayhem match at Bound for Glory.

Next for the Hardys will be Friday’s TNA Turning Point in Winston-Salem. They are scheduled to team with Ace Austin in a six-man tag match against KUSHIDA, Trey Miguel, and Zachary Wentz on the show.

TNA Impact live results: No DQ Knockouts title match

Tonight’s TNA Impact continues the road to next Friday’s Turning Point, headlined by a no DQ title match between Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich and Alisha Edwards.

The winner will defend the title at Turning Point, possibly against Jordynne Grace who has yet to be confirmed for the streaming special.

In a trios match, TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardys will team with Ace Austin to take on the hard-hitting trio of Trent Seven, Hammerstone & Jake Something who jumped the babyfaces last week.

In a preview of a likely Knockouts Tag Team title match next Friday, Spitfire’s Jody Threat will face Ash by Elegance.

After their skirmish last week, Frankie Kazarian will take on Rhino.

Masha Slamovich (c) defeated Alisha Edwards in a No Disqualification match to retain the TNA Knockouts Championship

After Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt welcome us to the show in Fayetteville, North Carolina, the theme for Alisha Edwards hits and out comes The System member for her big championship opportunity. She settles in the ring and then her opponent, reigning TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich, makes her way out. The Tale of the Tape graphic flashes on the screen before things get started.

Jade Chung then handles the final formal pre-match ring introductions for the champion and the challenger. As Slamovich was introduced, Edwards sneak-attacks her to get the early offensive jump. The bell sounds and Edwards continues to work over the champ in the corner of the ring.

Edwards grabs a kendo stick to use in this No DQ bout, but Slamovich avoids the shot and takes over. Edwards uses a chair as the action spills out to the floor. She takes over control of the offense, rolls Slamovich back into the ring and brings the chair with her. She hits a DDT on the chair for a two-count.

Slamovich pulls out a trash can and throws it in the ring after she starts to take back over on offense. She sits it upside down in the ring and slams Edwards’ face into it like a turnbuckle. She then does the same with the turnbuckle and hoists her up. She climbs up after her in front of the vertically-placed trash can.

She looks for a superplex, but Edwards thumbs Slamovich in the eye to avoid it. She power bombs her on the top of the trash can while it was sitting upside down. Ouch. She goes for the cover, but only gets two. Edwards grabs a kendo stick and begins wearing out the champ with repeated shots.

Slamovich eventually blocks one of the shots, gets the kendo stick from her and blasts her with it. She follows that up with a package piledriver and goes for the cover. 1-2-3. Slamovich wins and retains the TNA Knockouts Championship.

Tasha Steelz immediately hits the ring and attacks Slamovich. Jordynne Grace’s theme hits and out comes “The Juggernaut” to run Steelz and Edwards off. It will be Slamovich vs. Grace at TNA Turning Point for the TNA Knockouts Championship. After the match, the show heads to a commercial break.

Jody Threat defeated Ash By Elegance (w/ George Iceman & Heather By Elegance)

When the show returns, The Rascalz duo of Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel are backstage with KUSHIDA. The three talk about having eyes on The Hardys & Ace Austin’s showdown against Trent Seven, Hammerstone and Jake Something, as well as their match at TNA Turning Point.

Back inside the Impact Zone, Spitfire’s theme hits and out comes Jody Threat accompanied by Dani Luna. Luna wishes her well and heads to the back. After Threat settles in the ring, George Iceman comes out vowing to help make North Carolina great again.

He introduces Ash By Elegance, who comes out with Heather by Elegance. The bell sounds and Ash rolls out to the floor to avoid Threat. She rolls back in just in time to beat the referee’s count, and then turns and rolls right back out to the ringside area again.

When she comes back in, Threat starts to take it to her, only for her to butt-scoot and beg off. Heather gets involved from the floor and this allows Ash to take over and settle into a comfortable offensive lead.

Threat fights back into the lead, but when she goes for a top-rope spot, Heather distracts the ref and Iceman holds onto Ash. Threat crashes and burns on the mat down below, and Ash follows up with her finisher for the win. After the match, the show heads into another commercial break.

Mike Santana, Frankie Kazarian Have Sights Set On The Throne

When the show returns, Mike Santana’s theme hits and out he comes through the crowd. He settles in the ring and gets on the microphone. He talks about how everyone can relate to people doubting someone trying to achieve their wildest dreams.

He makes everyone a promise that he will sit atop the throne and become TNA World Champion. As he continues talking, he is cut off by the familiar sounds of the theme song of Frankie Kazarian. Out comes the self-proclaimed “King of TNA” taking issue with him talking about sitting in the throne.

He says the only throne he’s gonna sit on is a toilet somewhere in the Bronx. He says if anyone is gonna sit on the throne, it’s “The King of TNA” Frankie Kazarian. He says Santana beat Moose and that’s cool, but it’s only one win.

He boasts having the Call Your Shot trophy. Santana tells Kazarian he and his trophy smell like douchebags. Santana says before he was interrupted, he wanted to put Nic Nemeth on notice and let him know there is a new contender in line.

He says since Kazarian is out here, he’s got no problem cracking his skull. Kazarian tells him to put his hot Puerto Rican temper in his back-pocket. He will gladly send him back to the slums and streets he’s from, but he’s got bigger and better things to do as well.

He says he’ll be at TNA Turning Point and he’s gonna have his sights set on the Nemeth title bout. Santana says it’s funny he brings up Turning Point, because he doesn’t have a match yet. Kazarian says he doesn’t either, he’s taking the night off.

Santana says there’s no nights off in TNA, and he knows Santino Marella is in the back somewhere. He says he’s gonna find him and make this official. Santana tells Kazarian the people have spoken and tells him good luck tonight with Rhino, because there’s no more running for his ass.

Frankie Kazarian defeated Rhino

“Gore! Gore! Gore!” hits the house speakers and the theme for TNA Hall of Fame legend “The War Machine” Rhino plays. He makes his way out to the ring and immediately runs over Kazarian to get this match off to a hot start.

Fans chant “Rhino! Rhino!” as Kazarian re-groups at ringside as the show heads into a mid-match commercial break. When the show returns, we see Rhino dominating the majority of the action, eliciting “You still got it!” chants from the Fayetteville crowd.

After some more back-and-forth action, we see Kazarian pull off the win out of nowhere when he snuck his feet on the ropes during a pin attempt on the newest addition to the TNA Wrestling Hall of Fame. Fans boo like crazy as Kazarian taunts them with his trophy. He turns around and is run over by a gore from Rhino for a big pop.

Steve Maclin Mini Movie

In some weird, depressing mini-movie, we return to see Steve Maclin in a bar having a drink, lost in thought as sad music plays. He leaves and then Eric Young takes a seat at the same bar. We follow Maclin to his hotel where he takes a shower, looks at pictures and sleeps.

He then thinks about his military background and goes to some police station where someone walks in and sets a cop badge down. The camera pans up and it’s Eric Young. Someone pulls a chair up next to him and sits down. It’s Eric Young. Young asks Maclin if he knows why he’s here.

Young and Maclin talk in Sopranos-style psychiatrist-fashion. We see shots of the jail cell that Young returned to TNA in. Young starts yelling “Wake up Steve!” and then Maclin is shown waking up in his hotel to knocks at his door.

He opens the door and it’s, you guessed it, Eric Young. He smiles and the very bizarre, but high-quality, segment comes to an end.

Leon Slater & Laredo Kid defeated Moose & JDC

Back inside the Impact Zone, Leon Slater’s theme hits and out he comes for our next match of the evening. He settles in the ring and then his partner, Laredo Kid, makes his way out. The opponents for the two high-flyers, Moose and JDC of The System, make their way out next.

The entire group of The System come out showing off the new rings they all have after their lengthy ring presentation ceremony that took place last week. They all touch fists together like The Shield in their prime WWE days, and then Moose and JDC head to the ring while the others head to the back.

The bell sounds and Kid and JDC kick things off for their respective teams. Kid gets off to a fast start, but JDC takes over control of the action and tags in Moose. Moose delivers some punishment before Kid eventually makes the tag to Slater.

Slater hits the ring with a ton of energy, using his speed and quickness to blast Moose with a series of dropkicks in the corner of the ring. He hits a big high spot to a pile of bodies on the floor a few moments later for a big pop. Slater ends up catching JDC off-guard with a roll-up for the pin.

JDC immediately attacks Slater after the win. Moose joins in on the fun. He powerbombs Slater and directs traffic, ordering JDC to hit Down N’ Dirty off the top-rope. Laredo Kid comes in from behind with a steel chair and makes the save, running off The System duo. After things wrap up, we head to another break.

Joe Hendry Live

The show returns to the viral smash hit, “I Believe in Joe Hendry.” As always, “say his name, and he appears.” And he does, to the roar of the crowd in Fayetteville. He starts off talking about Thanksgiving being right around the corner.

Hendry says he has a lot to be thankful for this year. He says his goal is clear, though, and that is to become the TNA World Champion. He says instead he’s in a Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl match at TNA Turning Point. Instead of holding the title like he should, he might be standing here in a giant turkey suit.

He says greatness is worth the chance of humiliation. If he can beat five other TNA stars he gets that much closer to becoming TNA World Champion. He says when you have a dream and a goal, you go all the way to achieve that dream. He says anything is possible when you believe. His theme hits again to end the segment.

Nic Nemeth Ready To Steal The Show At TNA Turning Point 2024

Backstage, Nic Nemeth says it sounds like everyone still believes in Joe Hendry, but he’s focused on TNA Turning Point 2024 right now. With that in mind, he’s got his sights set on Eddie Edwards.

He says he’s ready to continue to set an example of what it takes to be a fighting champion. Nemeth says at Turning Point, the Wanted Man does what he does best, he steals the show and stays your TNA World Champion.

Savannah Evans defeated Brittany Jade

Back inside the Impact Zone, the theme for Savannah Evans hits and out she comes. Already in the ring is her opponent, Brittany Jade.

The bell sounds and we’re officially off-and-running with our next match of the evening. Evans dominates from bell to bell in a squash match, ending things with a Full Nelson Slam for the easy win. The show heads to another commercial break.

Jake Something, Hammerstone & Trent Seven defeated The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) & Ace Austin

When the show returns, we see Masha Slamovich backstage with the TNA Knockouts Championship, when Jordynne Grace approaches her. The two end up deciding to settle things once and for all to find out who is the best. Their title tilt at Turning Point is now a 2 out of 3 falls match.

Back inside the Impact Zone, the ring entrances for our six-man tag-team main event of the week begin, as Jake Something makes his way out to the ring. Next out is Hammerstone and then Trent Seven, to a ton of boos. The trio settles in the ring and awaits the arrival of their opposition.

Out first for the babyface team is Ace Austin, who does a tribute for his ABC tag-team partner Chris Bey. His theme dies down and the iconic sounds of The Hardys entrance tune plays to bring out North Carolina’s own Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy.

The show heads into a quick pre-match commercial break before things get underway. When we return, the bell sounds and Matt Hardy and Hammerstone kick things off for their respective teams. The Hardys do well early on, with Jeff tagging in and picking up where Matt left off.

After the trademark Poetry in Motion double-team spot, The Hardys lose control of the action, and we see Trent Seven begin shifting the offensive momentum in his team’s favor as the show heads into another mid-match commercial break.

The show returns to wild action that is all over the place. The crowd comes to life as their hometown legends The Hardys start hitting trademark spots again. Jeff hits a Swanton, both guys hit dueling Twist of Fates on the floor. Fans chant “Hardy! Hardy!”

Back inside the ring, Ace Austin is rev’d up and ready to go like a young Dana White, when Trent Seven blasts him with a low blow that the referee doesn’t see. He follows that up with the Burning Hammer for the win. The crowd boos like crazy.

Trent continues his heel antics afterwards until The Rascalz and KUSHIDA run out to make the save. The three shake hands with their opponents for TNA Turning Point, The Hardys and Ace Austin. The Hardys set for six-man tag match at TNA Turning Point

Matt & Jeff Hardy will be involved in a six-man tag match at TNA Turning Point 2024.

At the November 29 special, The Hardys will team up with Ace Austin against The Rascalz & KUSHIDA. The show is taking place from Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and will stream live on TNA+.

The Hardys won the TNA Tag Team titles in a Full Metal Mayhem match at Bound for Glory this October. The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) could put themselves in line for a title shot with a victory in this six-man tag.

Austin’s regular tag team partner is Chris Bey, who is recovering from neck surgery after suffering a serious injury at a TNA taping last month. Bey & Austin were facing The Hardys when the injury happened.

Turning Point is being held in Winston-Salem during the annual Thanksgiving weekend WrestleCade convention, which features autograph signings with legends and current stars along with several other events.

Jeff Hardy: TNA is ‘exactly where I’m supposed to be in 2024’

Matt & Jeff Hardy are thrilled with how their return to TNA Wrestling has gone so far.

Following the end of their AEW contracts, both Hardys returned to TNA earlier this year. They’re set to challenge for the TNA Tag Team titles at Bound for Glory this weekend, facing Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers and Ace Austin & Chris Bey in a three-way Full Metal Mayhem match.

“We’re feeling really good. We’re happy with how things turned out,” Matt told TV Insider ahead of Saturday’s pay-per-view. “The whole TNA environment, the locker room, everything has been pitch-perfect thus far. I feel like they are putting myself and Jeff in situations to succeed. They are optimizing our usage. Once again using our status as legends, which is weird to say. But they are using us the right way where they are maximizing us.”

Jeff also expressed that he feels TNA is the right place for him — and the right place for The Hardys as a team — at this point in time.

“There is so much opportunity. There is so much potential within me. I really trust in TNA as this is my third run there,” he said. “I still have so many things I haven’t done that I want to do before it’s all said and done. With TNA, I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be in 2024. I think we’re exactly where we’re supposed to be in 2024 as a tag team. It’s just super exciting to see the things we’re going to bring into reality.”

Full Metal Mayhem is TNA’s version of a tables, ladders, and chairs match. If The Hardys win at Bound for Glory, this will be their third Tag Team title reign with the promotion. Both brothers are also former TNA World Champions.

Jeff has said that he would like to win the TNA Tag Team titles as a way to help make things up to Matt after Jeff’s personal issues ruined their opportunity in AEW.

The Hardys have remained free agents while working for TNA. They filmed some digital content for WWE this summer, and Matt has said that he thinks WWE would be the best place for The Hardys to finish their careers.

Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit will be the venue for Bound for Glory 2024.

The Hardys vs. ABC set for next TNA Impact

Three matches are set for next week’s TNA Impact, including a Hardys vs. ABC tag team bout.

Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy will team against ABC’s Ace Austin & Chris Bey on the Thursday, October 3 TNA Impact episode as the build to the promotion’s biggest show of the year — Bound for Glory on October 26 — continues.

In another tag team contest set for next week’s episode, Steve Maclin & Eric Young will square off against Judas Icarus & Travis Williams.

WWE NXT will continue to have a presence on Impact on next week’s card in the form of a Knockouts division trios match, as Jordynne Grace teams with Masha Slamovich and NXT’s Sol Ruca against Tasha Steelz, Rosemary, and NXT’s Wendy Choo.

Also announced for next Thursday’s show, Ash by Elegance will provide a makeover to new Knockout signee Heather Reckless.

Four new matches have been added to the Friday, September 13 TNA Victory Road lineup.

First Class’s AJ Francis & KC Navarro issued a challenge to The Hardys for Victory Road during Thursday’s TNA Impact episode, with the promotion confirming the match for Friday’s show:

In another new match for Friday’s main card, PCO & Rhino will team against Matt Cardona & Steph De Lander in an intergender mixed tag team battle.

Two new bouts are also set for Friday’s Countdown show streaming on TNA’s digital media channels.

In tag team action, Eric Young & Steve Maclin will square off with Hammerstone & Jake Something. KUSHIDA vs. Leon Slater in singles competition is also official for Countdown to Victory Road.

Friday’s Countdown show streams at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time, with the TNA Plus portion of the card beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern time. The final card for Victory Road:

TNA Impact live results: The final stop before Victory Road

The final TNA Impact before this Friday’s Victory Road is on tap for tonight featuring a tornado tag team match, The Hardys in action, and more.

Jeff & Matt Hardy will continue their feud with The System as they take on former TNA Tag Team Champions Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers.

Reigning Tag Team Champions Ace Austin & Chris Bey will face First Class (AJ Francis & KC Navarro) in a non-title tornado match.

In an interesting clash, former World Champion Steve Maclin will face Hammerstone who is coming off a loss to NXT North American Champion Oba Femi on Tuesday.

Ash by Elegance will go one-on-one with Xia Brookside while new signing Heather Reckless will battle Gisele Shaw.

Both Joe Hendry and TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will make appearances. Grace is coming off a successful title defense on Tuesday’s WWE NXT and will next defend against Wendy Choo on Friday. Hendry will take on Josh Alexander at the streaming special.

Steve Maclin defeated Hammerstone

After the long recap video kicks off the show, the camera shot settles inside the Impact Zone where Steve Maclin makes his way to the ring. Out next is Hammerstone, with the commentators talking through highlights of his debut on WWE NXT earlier this week.

The bell sounds to start things off, and the two both come out strong. Maclin backs Hammerstone into the corner and lights him up with some chops. Hammerstone fights back but runs into a back-elbow. Maclin drives Hammerstone into his knee and blasts him with a short-range clothesline for a two-count.

Hammerstone muscles Maclin up and rushes him into the corner. He drives his shoulder into his mid-section and blasts him with some forearms. He hoists him up and charges across the ring to do the same thing in the other corner before planting him into the mat with a spinebuster.

Tom Hannifan points out the taped up left shoulder of Maclin and mentions he is curious to see how it holds up in this match. Hammerstone blasts Maclin in the bread basket with a knee. He holds onto Maclin’s injured left arm and begins to go to work on it.

Hammerstone hits a belly-to-back suplex for a two-count, and then goes back to work on his weakened limb. Hammerstone looks for a Torture Rack, but Maclin saw it coming and starts a comeback. He uses his good arm to fight off the muscle monster.

He hits a mean back-breaker and then pounds Hammerstone in the corner. He hangs him upside down in the tree of woe and charges at him with a spear for a close two-count. Maclin tries to hook Hammerstone for the K.I.A., but Hammerstone avoids it and hits a power slam.

Maclin clotheslines Hammerstone over the top and out to the floor. He runs back into the ring and hits a big dive. He brings Hammerstone into the ring and heads to the top-rope. Hammerstone cuts him off and climbs up after him. He hits an enormous overhead belly-to-belly off the top.

Hammerstone hits a single-leg dropkick after avoiding a running knee from Maclin. Hammerstone looks for his finisher but Maclin escapes out the back door and rolls him up for the unexpected three-count.

Hammerstone attacks Maclin after the match. He puts him in the Torture Rack until Eric Young runs out to make the save. Jake Something comes down and he and Hammerstone exchange a look while standing side-by-side glaring at Young and Maclin in the ring.

The System Reboot Continues Tonight

Backstage, Alisha Edwards asks if we want to know something. JDC rips off Jim Neidhart’s “we’re gonna get hungry and forget our manners” line when it is his turn to explain, like the rest of The System all do, why tonight The System Reboot continues. Moose confirms JDC’s status in the group. “You can always trust The System!” The show heads into the first commercial break of the evening.

New Tag-Team Bout For TNA Victory Road

When the show returns, Steve Maclin talks backstage about what he said at TNA Emergence about there not being enough good people worthy of trust and respect in this business. Eric Young walks in and he tells him he’s one of them. Young nods and says the same about Maclin. He tells Hammerstone and Jake Something they’ll see them at Victory Road.

Heather Reckless defeated Gisele Shaw

Inside the Impact Zone, the highly-touted new TNA Knockout Heather Reckless makes her way out for her Impact debut. The commentators sing her praises as she settles inside the squared circle. Her entrance tune dies down and out comes Gisele Shaw for her final match in the promotion.

The commentators remind us about Reckless being cut off last week by Ash By Elegance. The bell sounds and off we go with match number two for this week’s show. The two shake hands, circle and lock up. Shaw muscles Reckless down to the mat with ease.

They lock up again and Shaw slaps a side headlock on Reckless. Reckless begins to fight back and hits a big DDT that plants Shaw’s dome directly into the mat. As the action continues, out comes Ash By Elegance and George Iceman to get a closer look at the action.

Reckless hits a big shoulder tackle off the ropes. She hits a moonsault for a two-count and then follows up with a wild Canadian Destroyer for an even closer nearfall attempt. Shaw fights back with a Spinebuster that would make Arn Anderson proud.

Shaw hits Shock ‘N’ Awe for a close two-count, but Reckless somehow kicks out. George Iceman hops on the apron to distract the referee. While this is going on, Ash By Elegance decks Shaw on the top-rope. Reckless runs up and hits somewhat of a Spanish Fly, which she calls “Recked,” for the win.

Matt Cardona And His Property Set For Action At TNA Victory Road

After the match, we see a new Xia Li “Coming Soon” vignette and then the show heads into another break. When the show returns, “Alwayz Ready” Matt Cardona comes out with his “property,” Steph De Lander. She looks miserable has he orders her around. He makes her hold the ropes for him.

In the ring, she begins to speak first and he yanks the microphone out of her hands and says, “I do the talking around here!” He boasts returning from a life-threatening injury and thinks Santino Marella has it out for him.

Cardona brings up a match with PCO and Rhino against himself and a partner of his choosing for TNA Victory Road. He does a big build-up for the partner reveal, points to the tunnel and then turns to De Lander and says it is her.

He says if she Finger Poke of Dooms him or turns on him, he’s sending her back to Australia. The theme for “The French-Canadian Frankenstein” hits and out comes PCO. Wasn’t Frankenstein the doctors name, by the way?

De Lander low-blows Cardona as PCO enters the ring. He chokeslams Cardona into the mat and gives De Lander a big hug as fans chant his name.

ABC defeated First Class in a Tornado Tag-Team Match

Gia Miller has a quick sit-down interview in the empty arena for a taped segment with Spitfire duo Jody Threat and Dani Luna, who talk about their high stakes tag-team title tilt against TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champions Masha Slamovich and Alisha Edwards at TNA Victory Road 2024. If they lose, the team must break up.

Inside the Impact Zone, the theme for First Class hits and out comes AJ Francis and KC Navarro for scheduled Tornado Tag-Team action. The reigning TNA Tag-Team Champions ABC come out next. Chris Bey and Ace Austin settle in the ring and the match gets started with a bang.

ABC and First Class all end up on the floor almost immediately, and the brawl is on all over the place. Francis and Navarro settle in the early offensive lead. The show heads into a mid-match break as the fight continues.

When the show returns, Francis and Navarro are in a comfortable offensive lead and talking all kinds of trash in the ring. Bey tries fighting back on the floor, but Navarro maintains control of things. Francis continues a slow domination in the ring on Austin, while Navarro keeps stopping Bey from coming in the ring to help.

Moments later, Bey finally does get in the ring and he and Austin hit a double-suplex on Francis. Bey hits a big cutter. Austin follows up with a big spot of his own and the two both cover Francis at the same time for the win. After the match, the show heads into another commercial break.

Joe Hendry & Josh Alexander Talk TNA Victory Road

The show returns with a Jonathan Gresham vignette about him continuing the rebirth and shedding the mask persona. Back inside the Impact Zone, Joe Hendry’s theme hits and he comes out for his scheduled segment.

He settles in the ring after his full entrance and then calls out Josh Alexander. “The Walking Weapon” appears in the rafters and says he’s up there for Hendry’s own protection. He says, “Now make me laugh, funny man.”

Hendry says he wouldn’t make a video making fun of Alexander …or would he? He introduces The Josh Alexander Story. It’s a music video with Hendry calling Alexander a Jesse Pinkman look-alike who is slowly turning into Walter White. His big claim is Alexander doesn’t ever smile. He calls him Kurt Angle From Wish.

Alexander is shown very much not smiling in the rafters when it wraps up. He talks about everyone loving Hendry because he had a couple of videos that went viral. He didn’t earn it like Alexander, making towns and fighting his way to the top the right way.

He says he’ll be smiling ear to ear when he beats Hendry at Victory Road. Hendry says Alexander sounds upset because the fans aren’t chanting “Walking Weapon.” He says he saw a sign earlier that said, “Walking Weiner.” Of course, that starts a loud “Walking Weiner” chant. Alexander says Hendry just dug his grave a little deeper.

Arianna Grace Makes Jordynne Grace A Promise

The commentators talk about Wendy Choo being announced as Jordynne Grace’s opponent for TNA Victory Road in the TNA Knockouts Championship match. We see Grace confront NXT and TNA liaison Arianna Grace about the pillow appearing last week.

She asks who else carries around a pillow other than Choo. Arianna says The Sandman. Grace gets a promise from Arianna that there won’t be any funny business at Victory Road during her match. The show heads into another commercial break.

Ash By Elegance defeated Xia Brookside

When the show returns, Mike Santana is shown in a vignette talking about Nic Nemeth’s commendable run thus far as TNA World Champion. He mentions how he is going to punish Moose. Back inside the Impact Zone, George Iceman introduces Ash By Elegance.

Xia Brookside is out next and then the bell sounds to get this one off-and-running. The two trade shots and then Ash runs into a big boot from Brookside in the corner. Brookside slams her down and then hits a cross body splash for a two-count.

Brookside blasts Ash in the back with a big kick. She rolls her up for two and then blasts her with another kick. Iceman trips up Brookside and Ash starts to take over. She stomps a mudhole in Brookside. She does not, however, walk it dry. She goes for a cover for a two-count.

Brookside fights back and takes over. She hits two Broken Wings to the back of Ash as she is kneeling in the corner. She goes for a third but is stopped by Iceman who hops on the apron and begs her to show mercy to the lovely Ash. She eventually goes for it, but misses. Heather Reckless runs out and cheap shots her and Ash rolls her up for the win. Reckless stands next to Ash as she poses in victory at ringside.

The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) defeated The System (Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards)

It’s main event time!

But first, Nic Nemeth is shown backstage for a go-home promo for Victory Road. He talks about Moose having the chance to handle things like a man, but opting to go a different route.

He mocks The System Reboot and talks about Moose tagging his heroes like The Rock and Triple H, who he points out he shared the ring with and beat in the past. After he wraps up, the commentators hype tonight’s tag-team main event and the show heads into another commercial break.

When the show returns, Ash By Elegance is complaining about her hair to George Iceman when Heather Reckless walks in. They both liked her helping Ash by agree she needs a makeover. Iceman offers to give her one if she wants some time.

Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt run down the lineup for TNA Victory Road. The Hardys vs. First Class in a main card bout and KUSHIDA vs. Leon Slater and Steve Maclin & Eric Young vs. Hammerstone & Jake Something is confirmed for the “Countdown” pre-show.

The System theme hits inside the Impact Zone and out comes Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards accompanied by Alisha Edwards. The three head to the ring for our scheduled tag-team main event match of the evening.

The iconic entrance tune for The Hardys plays next and out comes Matt and Jeff Hardy to the ring to a big pop from the Louisville crowd. As the four men are in the ring and ready to rock and roll, Hannifan and Rehwoldt talk us into one final pre-match commercial break.

When the show returns, fans chant “Happy Birthday” to Jeff Hardy. Hannifan says on commentary they’re wishing him a happy belated birthday. Nice. We’re live .. as far as you know! Evil laugh! Matt and Myers kick things off for their respective teams.

Matt takes the early offensive lead, isolating the arm of Myers and working it over while fans chant “DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!” Jeff tags in, the happy birthday chants spread like wildfire again, and he picks up where Matt left off. After taking it to Myers a bit, he tags Matt right back in.

Myers takes over and brings Matt to The System corner of the ring, where he tags in Edwards. Edwards goes to work on Matt with chops until Matt fights back and tags Jeff back in. The two hit a double-team spot on Edwards. Jeff settles back in the offensive lead.

The Hardys hit their trademark Poetry in Motion double-team spot and then dump Myers and Edwards out to the floor. Jeff dives off the apron with a double clothesline to take out both members of The System. Edwards trips Jeff up as he re-enters the ring and Jeff walks into a super kick from Myers.

As The System settles into the offensive lead, Hannifan talks us into a mid-match commercial break as the main event of the evening continues. When we return, we see Matt fighting from underneath and beginning to make a comeback, only for Alisha Edwards to get involved at ringside and cut it short.

The System settle back into a comfortable offensive lead, utilizing frequent tags and keeping Matt cut off on their side of the ring. Matt hits a right hand a neck-breaker minutes later to finally crawl to his corner for the much-needed tag.

The (belated)-birthday boy gets the hot tag and brings the fans out of their seats with his white-hot babyface comeback. He rolls through his greatest hits of trademark spot, such as the crotch leg drop, Whisper in the Wind and Twist of Fate. He takes the shirt off for the female pop. The works, folks.

His attempt at a top-rope Swanton Bomb is broken up by interference from Myers. Edwards tries capitalizing with a pin, but only gets two. Fans break out in a random-ass “Brother Nero” chant. The System Over-Load attempt is broken up by Matt.

Matt hits a Twist of Fate to Myers off the ropes. He’s sent to the floor and Hardy hits a Twist of Fate on Edwards. Jeff hits the top-rope Swanton Bomb for the win. We all go home happy. And TNA’s Victory Road go-home show ends on that note.
