Three-way match set for TNA Turning Point pre-show

A three-way match is scheduled for the TNA Turning Point pre-show this Friday night.

TNA Wrestling announced today that Rosemary vs. Xia Brookside vs. Savannah Evans will take place on Countdown to Turning Point. The pre-show broadcast streams live on TNA+ and the promotion’s digital platforms for free starting at 6:30 p.m. Eastern time on Friday.

In promoting this match, TNA billed it as a way for the winner to get some momentum in the Knockouts division:

  • It’s all about momentum when three surging Knockouts – Xia Brookside, Savannah Evans and Rosemary – clash on the Countdown to Turning Point. Rosemary recently cut ties with NXT’s Wendy Choo, vanquishing her in a No Disqualifications match. Meanwhile, Savannah Evans made her impactful return to TNA, taking out Léi Yǐng Lee in the process. Then you have Xia Brookside, who is looking to continue her rise following success on Xplosion. Who will come out on top, poised for greatness?

Masha Slamovich — the current Knockouts Champion — has a title defense against Jordynne Grace at Turning Point. The event is being held in Winston-Salem, North Carolina as part of the annual Thanksgiving weekend WrestleCade convention.

Turning Point’s main card begins at 7 p.m. Eastern on TNA+. Here’s the updated lineup for the show:

TNA Turning Point 2024 (Friday, November 29) —

TNA announced Tuesday that Josh Alexander and Steve Maclin will go one-on-one under no disqualification rules at Turning Point set for Friday, November 29.

Alexander vs. Maclin is a rematch from Bound for Glory where Alexander came away with the victory. Alexander and his Northern Armory were also victorious over Maclin, Eric Young, and Jonathan Gresham on a follow-up TNA Impact episode in six-man tag team action.

The no DQ match is the second match added to the Turning Point lineup today, as a six-man bout featuring The Hardys was announced for the show earlier on Tuesday.

The Hardys set for six-man tag match at TNA Turning Point

Matt & Jeff Hardy will be involved in a six-man tag match at TNA Turning Point 2024.

At the November 29 special, The Hardys will team up with Ace Austin against The Rascalz & KUSHIDA. The show is taking place from Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and will stream live on TNA+.

The Hardys won the TNA Tag Team titles in a Full Metal Mayhem match at Bound for Glory this October. The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) could put themselves in line for a title shot with a victory in this six-man tag.

Austin’s regular tag team partner is Chris Bey, who is recovering from neck surgery after suffering a serious injury at a TNA taping last month. Bey & Austin were facing The Hardys when the injury happened.

Turning Point is being held in Winston-Salem during the annual Thanksgiving weekend WrestleCade convention, which features autograph signings with legends and current stars along with several other events.

Nic Nemeth vs. Eddie Edwards World title match booked for TNA Turning Point

The first match is set for TNA Turning Point, and it’s a World title bout.

Nic Nemeth will defend the TNA World Championship against Eddie Edwards at Turning Point set for Friday, November 29 on TNA Plus.

Edwards scored a pinfall on Nemeth on the October 31 Impact in a tag team bout after Nemeth and Bound for Glory opponent Joe Hendry were forced to team and had a miscommunication that led to the finish. The bout was officially announced for Turning Point on Thursday’s TNA Impact.

Nemeth has held the World title since defeating Moose for the belt at Slammiversary this past July. The promotion was seemingly building to Hendry defeating Nemeth for the title, but JBL interfered in the title match at Bound for Glory to muddy the waters and delay Hendry’s coronation.

The card so far for the TNA Plus Turning Point special streaming on Friday, November 29:

  • TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth defends against Eddie Edwards
