VIDEO: Being The Elite – Best Friends commit murder

Report —

The show opened with 50+ seconds for 50+. Matt Jackson worked some holds, sold his leg and did a series of simple spots to appeal to an older audience.

Other highlights included:

  • Matt, Nick Jackson, Rick Knox, Brandon Cutler and Brian Cage were stranded in the Dallas airport after missing a flight to Jacksonville on Nick’s birthday.
  • Alex Reynolds and John Silver tried to recruit Matt and Nick to Dark Order by pretending to be Christian AF. They got the story of Cain and Abel confused with the story of Kane and his brother Mark.
  • Matt enlisted Christopher Daniels to come up with ways to appeal to the 50+ demo. Daniels decided that his first idea was to try an infomercial.
  • Hangman Page, Kenny Omega, Matt and Nick were hanging out backstage at Dynamite after Page and Omega’s title defense last week. FTR approached and told Page that he looked like a young Barry Windham. Omega said he doesn’t watch wrestling so he doesn’t know who that is. Page didn’t know either. FTR offered Omega and The Bucks chocolate milk to toast with while they drank beer with Page. They were all getting along.
  • Dark Order thought that Jungle Boy was Griff Garrison and kicked him out of their dressing room. Mr. Brodie Lee entered and slapped Silver with a stack of papers for being stupid.
  • Matt Hardy talked to Matt and Nick. He said that he needs to be Matthew Hardy right now, grounded in reality. Hardy left. Matt and Nick then saw visions of Hardy’s different personas but chalked it up to being tired after missing their flight.
  • Colt Cabana decided to wait in the EVP locker room for Omega. He took a bite of Nick’s birthday cake, got tired, then took a nap in the locker room. Best Friends and Orange Cassidy approached looking for Cutler who they have been trying to murder.
  • Best Friends and Cassidy entered the EVP locker room and killed Cabana behind a closed door. They left the room and ran into Cutler as they realized they had killed the wrong guy.

Best Friends vs. Santana & Ortiz set for AEW Dynamite

A tag team match has officially been confirmed for Dynamite.

AEW’s social media confirmed this afternoon that a tag team match will take place between The Best Friends and Santana & Ortiz. Best Friends, including Orange Cassidy, have had problems in recent weeks with The Inner Circle.

A debate between Orange Cassidy and Chris Jericho featuring a mystery moderator will also take place on the program. This will be ahead of their match on the August 12 edition of Dynamite.

Also set for this week’s Dynamite:

  • Jon Moxley vs. Darby Allin for the AEW World title
  • Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder) & Cody vs. Jon Silver and Alex Reynolds of The Dark Order
  • In a twelve-man tag team match, Kenny Omega, Hangman Page, FTR, and The Young Bucks will face Mr. Brodie Lee, Colt Cabana, Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, Five, and Ten of the Dark Order
  • An update on MJF’s challenge to Jon Moxley for a title match at AEW All Out.

AEW Dynamite video highlights: Orange Cassidy gets his revenge

The AEW World Tag Team Championship match participants for Fyter Fest were decided on last night’s Dynamite.

The main event saw Best Friends defeat Sammy Guevara & Chris Jericho to retain the right to challenge for the tag belts at Fyter Fest. Additionally, Orange Cassidy got revenge on Chris Jericho and a match between the two was announced for Fyter Fest.

Kenny Omega & Hangman Page defeated Dustin Rhodes & QT Marshall in the Dynamite opener to retain the AEW Tag Team titles.

It was a busy night in the tag division as The Young Bucks took on Kip Sabian & Jimmy Havoc, while FTR and The Butcher and The Blade got involved in a brawl with the other teams after the match.

Cody also retained his TNT Championship with a win over the debuting Ricky Starks.

For more of what you missed, including a Jon Moxley promo, Britt Baker being abducted by Big Swole, MJF vs. Billy Gunn, Anna Jay vs. Abadon, and Jay and Colt Cabana being recruited by The Dark Order, scroll below.

AEW Fyter Fest to be two-week event on TNT

Fyter Fest will be a two night event, spanning two weeks.

It was announced tonight on Dynamite that Fyter Fest will take place on two nights, July 1 and July 8. Instead of being a pay-per-view event, it will instead take place on TNT. A commercial that aired during the show said that every championship will be on the line.

Two matches have already been set for the shows. Brian Cage will challenge AEW World champion Jon Moxley after Cage made his debut for the promotion at Double or Nothing, winning the Casino Ladder Match to receive an AEW World title shot.

Meanwhile, Best Friends will challenge for the AEW World Tag Team titles when they face champions Hangman Page and Kenny Omega. The champions retained their titles tonight, defeating Kip Sabian and Jimmy Havoc.

Best Friends defeated Private Party at the Double or Nothing Buy-In pre-show to become number one contenders.

AEW Tag Team title matches set for next Dynamite, Fyter Fest

The next two shots at the AEW tag team titles have been spoken for.

On Wednesday’s Dynamite, Kip Sabian and Jimmy Havoc defeated SCU, earning themselves a shot at champions Kenny Omega and Hangman Page on next week’s show. The duo (3-1 since they started teaming up) won when they hit their combination Michinoku driver/dropkick combo on Scorpio Sky.

As the match closed, Excalibur announced that whoever comes out of next week’s match as champions will defend against Best Friends at Fyter Fest. The show doesn’t have a date as of this writing, but already has AEW World Champion Jon Moxley vs. Brian Cage headlining.

Chuck Taylor and Trent are on a six-match winning streak dating back to early April and earned the shot with a win over Private Party at Double or Nothing.

Since defeating SCU for the titles on the Jericho Cruise in January, Page and Omega are 3-0 but haven’t defended the titles since beating the Young Bucks at February’s Revolution pay-per-view due to the pandemic.

AEW Dark results: Best Friends vs. Angels & Dean, nine more matches

Report —

The show began with a voiceover promo from Taz. He said he would not be explaining or discussing his relationship with Brian Cage on Dark tonight. I appreciate that they thought to explain this away.

**********

Dustin Rhodes & QT Marshall (w/ Brandi Rhodes) defeated Alex Reynolds & John Silver

First and foremost, QT ditched the apple toss in his entrance. I am taking credit for that.

This match was just a backdrop for a new angle with Allie and Marshall.

Dustin began working on Reynolds’ left arm. Marshall tagged in for a senton.

Allie appeared in the stands, eating an apple. This distracted Marshall, who acted as though this was the most erotic thing he had ever seen. Silver used the distraction to his a running knee off the apron and cut off Marshall.

Marshall made his own comeback and Dustin got a hot tag. Dustin hit an inverted atomic drop, a bulldog and a powerslam.

The finish saw Dustin hit a destroyer on Reynolds. Marshall then tagged in and hit a Diamond Cutter on Reynolds for the pin.

**********

Michael Nakazawa defeated Brandon Cutler by countout

They tried, but this was not good.

Nakazawa used three quick pinning combinations right off the bat looking for a quick finish.

Cutler came back with a springboard elbow, a Russian leg sweep, then a springboard elbow drop. Kind of a new take on the classic Bret Hart sequence. Probably the only comparison between Cutler and Hart that I will ever make.

Nakazawa reached into his trunks for oil but he couldn’t find any. Nakazawa split his trunks. They traded chops and strikes. Cutler was busted open over his right eye.

Cutler hit a senton off the top rope for a near fall. He then dumped Nakazawa over the top rope to the stage. Cutler hit a slam on the stage, then a springboard diving elbow from the ring to the stage.

Cutler hit a slam on the floor. Nakazawa shoved Cutler into the barricade and beat the ten count back inside.

They pushed this as the first countout in AEW history.

**********

Peter Avalon and Leva Bates came out to the ring to taunt Cutler. Cutler said Avalon is afraid that he’s going to get a win before Avalon.

Avalon said he’s going to win his match right now and prove that Cutler is the worst wrestler in AEW.

Cutler joined the commentary team for the next match.

**********

Jungle Boy (w/ Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt) defeated Peter Avalon (w/ Leva Bates)

They traded some holds. Avalon used a headscissors takeover and Jungle Boy did a handstand out of the hold.

Jungle Boy sent Avalon outside. Bates provided a distraction and Avalon posted Jungle Boy.

Back inside, Jungle Boy made a comeback. Avalon cut him off with a leg lariat and used a headscissors on the mat. Jungle Boy forced a break.

Avalon missed a top rope moonsault. Jungle boy hit three strikes and a lariat. Avalon hit a pump kick. Jungle Boy came back with a spectacular springboard DDT for a near fall.

Avalon used an inside cradle for a two count. Avalon hit Marti-Knees for another two count.

Things got needlessly convoluted at the finish. Bates jumped on the apron. Luchasaurus put Bates on his shoulders. Stunt forcibly kissed Bates. Can we erase that spot from the babyface repertoire in 2020?

Jungle Boy used the distraction to tie Avalon up in his SGS, an inverted STF. Avalon tapped out.

**********

Christopher Daniels defeated Serpentico

This was a quick back and forth battle with some solid work.

They began with a nice chain wrestling sequence. Serpentico hit a shoulder block. Daniels used a series of deep arm drags.

Daniels hit an exploder suplex. Serpentico came back with a slingshot double stomp for a two count. Daniels hit an STO and a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker.

Daniels hit a uranage and the BME for the pin.

**********

Sonny Kiss & Joey Janela defeated John Skyler & Brady Pierce

This was the AEW debut for Skyler and Pierce. This was a nice showcase for Kiss and Janela.

Kiss hit Pierce with a big knee in the corner. Janela hit an elbow drop on Pierce. Kiss tagged in and hit an axe kick in the corner for a one count. Janela and Kiss used a series of quick tags.

Skyler blind tagged in and cut Janela off. Pierce tagged back in and missed a moonsault. Kiss got a hot tag and ran wild with a dropkick and a pop-up leg drop on Pierce. Janela hit a tope suicida through the legs of Kiss to Pierce. Kiss used kiss my sass on Skyler.

Janela tagged in and hit a top rope elbow for the pin on Skyler.

**********

Jimmy Havoc & Kip Sabian (w/ Penelope Ford) defeated Tony Donati & Faboo Andre

This was a fun squash.

Havoc attacked Donati and Andre right as the opening bell rang. Andre ended up the legal man and Havoc worked him over with biting and strikes.

Andre made a quick comeback with a second rope crossbody. Havoc sent Andre outside, where Ford hit Andre with strikes. Havoc hit Andre with a one-legged dropkick. Sabian covered for a near fall.

Sabian hit a PK. Havoc used a fish hook on Andre’s eye. Andre was split open. Andre ducked an Acid Rainmaker and managed to tag Donati for the first time.

Donati hit a bridging German for a one count on Sabian. He followed with another suplex for a two count on Sabian.

Sabian cut Donati off with a draping DDT. Havoc hit a running death valley driver. Sabian hit a double stomp off the top.

The finish saw Sabian and Havoc hit a dropkick into a Michinoku Driver and Havoc pinned Donati.

**********

Wardlow (w/ MJF) defeated Grim

Wardlow hit a deadlift powerslam and a series of uppercut forearm strikes. Wardlow missed a charge into the corner. Grim hit a corner splash and a back elbow.

Wardlow came back with a German suplex. He went for the F-10 but Grim slipped out the back.

Weird finish to this one. Wardlow placed Grim on the second rope. He pulled Grim off into a knee strike. The referee called a knockout finish.

**********

Wardlow hit the F-10 on Grim after the match.

**********

Colt Cabana defeated Lee Johnson

Johnson went to 0-8 in his AEW career after this squash.

They shook hands at the opening bell.

Cabana used a series of unique pinning combinations for a bunch of near falls. They traded chops in the corner. Johnson hit a dropkick.

Johnson missed a charge into the corner. Cabana hit the flying apple.

The finish saw Cabana hit flip, flop and fly, then used the Billy Goat’s Curse for the submission victory.

**********

Penelope Ford (w/ Kip Sabian) defeated KiLynn King

I feel like Ford needs more performances like this to build some confidence. She has that confidence when she’s working as a valet but it’s not always there in the ring.

Ford made a show of taking off her engagement ring after the opening bell.

They traded headlocks. King used a misdirection spot to hit a shoulder tackle. King followed with a vertical suplex for a two count.

Sabian tripped King from the floor. Ford tied King up in the ropes. Ford hit a series of stomps in the corner. Ford and Sabian made out. Ford hit a vertical suplex for a near fall.

King came back with a missile dropkick. Ford hit a back handspring elbow.

Ford then used a handspring into a cutter for the pin.

**********

Best Friends (Trent & Chuck Taylor w/ Orange Cassidy) defeated Alan Angels & Shawn Dean

Everyone worked hard and they had a nice little back and forth match.

Dean and Taylor started off. Taylor hit an arm drag and a dropkick.

Angels and Trent entered. They traded slaps to the face. Angels and Dean cut Trent off in their half of the ring. Dean missed a corner charge and Trent hit a tornado DDT. Trent hit Angels with a back suplex.

Taylor made a tag and hit a powerslam on Angels. Taylor hit a plancha to Dean. Trent took Dean out with a spear on the floor.

Taylor hit Angels with a powerbomb. Trent tagged in for the hug spot.

Trent and Taylor hit Strong Zero and Trent pinned Angels.

Best Friends become number one contenders to AEW Tag Team titles

New number one contenders were crowned during tonight’s AEW Buy-In show.

Best Friends defeated Private Party during the pre-show prior to AEW Double or Nothing. Trent scored the win for his team after hitting the Strong Zero on Marq Quen. You can watch the match in full below:

With the win, Best Friends will be next to challenge current champions Hangman Page and Kenny Omega. The two will team with the rest of the Elite later tonight during Double or Nothing, facing Chris Jericho and the rest of the Inner Circle in a Stadium Stampede match. Both factions will be fighting inside the football stadium connected to Daily’s Place.

Hangman Page and Omega have been champions since January 21. However, Hangman Page has spent most of the last two months away from competition due to the spread of COVID-19. He and The Young Bucks made their return to AEW television this past Wednesday, aiding Matt Hardy and the rest of the Elite in their brawl against the Inner Circle.

Three matches announced for AEW Double or Nothing

Three matches were announced tonight for Double or Nothing.

The AEW Women’s championship will be on the line, as champion Nyla Rose will face number one contender Hikaru Shida. It will be a no DQ, no countout match after Rose attacked Shida with a kendo stick backstage. Shida had defeated Kris Statlander, Britt Baker, and Penelope Ford in a fatal four way match tonight to become the number one contender.

A match between Britt Baker and Kris Statlander was also made tonight, stemming from what happened during the fatal four way women’s match. Baker had Statlander on the floor with her lockjaw submission. The announcers mentioned that Baker was more intent on taking out Statlander than actually winning the match.

The Buy-In pre show match will be a tag team match, with Private Party squaring off against Best Friends. The winners of that match will become the number one contenders to the AEW Tag Team championships, which are currently held by Hangman Adam Page and Kenny Omega.

Double or Nothing will take place on May 23.

AEW Dark results: Best Friends vs. Lee Johnson & Musa

Report —

Tony Schiavone and Cody were the broadcast team. Schiavone opened the show by saying that they had three matches for us this week. In fact, there were only two matches.

Jimmy Havoc defeated Shawn Dean

This was little more than a squash, going just under four minutes. Dean is another QT Marshall student. He looked fine here.

A collar and elbow tie-up led to a stalemate. Dean offered a handshake and Havoc accepted.

Each targeted the other’s left arm. Both hit Japanese-style arm drags. Havoc dodged a charge into the corner, then suplexed Dean into the buckle.

Havoc hit a ripcord lariat and tried some small joint manipulation by going after Dean’s fingers. Dean forced a rope break.

The finish saw Havoc hit an implant DDT and pin Dean.

Havoc ended up with a bloody mouth somehow near the finish.

Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent) defeated Lee Johnson & Musa

This was a perfectly fine tag match.

We have seen a lot of Johnson of late. He has good upside. Musa moves well but doesn’t stand out beyond that.

Taylor and Musa began. They did a basic sequence of tackles, drop-downs, leapfrogs, and the like. Taylor hit a basement dropkick. Both tagged out.

Trent and Johnson got tags. Trent hit some forearm strikes. Johnson took a flip bump off a lariat. Trent hit a rope-assisted Northern Lights suplex for a near fall.

Musa and Taylor tagged back in. Musa hit a nice rolling dropkick. Trent came back with a plancha to Musa. Trent speared Johnson on the floor. Back inside, Taylor hit soul food on Musa. Best Friends hugged.

The finish saw Trent set up Musa for their version of Strong Zero. Taylor hit the move off the top, and Trent pinned Musa to get the win.

Best Friends, Jimmy Havoc announced for AEW Dark

AEW announced their lineup for Tuesday’s Dark featuring three competitors preparing for a no DQ, no countout match on Dynamite.

In the first match, Jimmy Havoc will look to snap a two match losing streak when he faces Shawn Dean. He was on last Wednesday’s Dynamite in a losing effort against Orange Cassidy while Dean recently made his AEW debut in a losing effort to Shawn Spears.

In the other match, Best Friends will face Lee Johnson and Musa in tag team action. Trent and Chuck Taylor were last on the April 8th Dynamite picking up a victory over Kenny Omega and Michael Nakazawa. Johnson has been a constant presence in AEW in past weeks, losing to QT Marshall, Brodie Lee, and Wardlow while Musa will be making his AEW debut.

Wednesday’s Dynamite will feature the Best Friends vs. Havoc and Kip Sabian in the aforementioned no DQ, no countout tag team match.

Kenny Omega teaming with Michael Nakazawa on AEW Dynamite

Kenny Omega is teaming up with Michael Nakazawa on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

Omega & Nakazawa vs. Best Friends (Trent Barreta & Chuck Taylor w/ Orange Cassidy) will air on this Wednesday’s show. Tony Khan made the announcement via Twitter: “Wednesday on an all-new #AEWDynamite on TNT, for one night only, 1/2 of the #AEW World Tag Team Champions, @KennyOmegamanX will reunite with former partner @MichaelNakazawa to face The Best Friends @SexyChuckieT & @trentylocks with @orangecassidy! Wednesday will be a great show!”

Omega & Hangman Page are the AEW Tag Team Champions. Page hasn’t been on Dynamite since March 18, which was the first episode done on a closed set.

AEW’s TNT Championship tournament will begin with Cody and Shawn Spears facing off in a first round match on Dynamite on Wednesday. Hikaru Shida vs. Britt Baker is also set to air on the episode, and Lance Archer will be in action. Archer’s opponent hasn’t been revealed.

Tony Schiavone and Chris Jericho will be on commentary for Wednesday’s show.

Kenny Omega vs. Trent announced for AEW Dynamite

A new match has been announced for this week’s Dynamite.

Kenny Omega will face one half of the Best Friends, Trent, in singles action. This follows Omega’s successful AAA Mega Heavyweight title defense against Sammy Guevara last week on Dynamite.

AEW is continuing to run new episodes of Dynamite despite the coronavirus pandemic shutting down most of the United States. Dave Meltzer reported today that the evolving situation has forced them to move out of the Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, where AEW had been filming their shows since mid-March.

The new location for future episodes of Dynamite currently isn’t known, as they don’t want people showing up looking for autographs. It is believed that AEW is doing a significant amount of taping today for future events.

A new episode of AEW Dark premieres tonight, featuring stars such as Jon Moxley, Sammy Guevara and Shawn Spears competing in singles action.

The Big News: Death Triangle ran in after the main event to lay a beating on five babyfaces. It took three more, in the form of Best Friends and Orange Cassidy, to run them off.

**********

When looking up this episode on YouTube I couldn’t help but notice the large number of episodes (including this one) where the thumbnail is of the Jurassic Express.

**********

Jurassic Express (with Marko Stunt) defeated Kip Sabian & Peter Avalon (with Penelope Ford & Leva Bates)

Speaking of the Jurassic Express, they are here to kick off Dark this week. Avalon, who comes into this match at 0-10, took forever to start his promo. He got as far as saying we were in Denver before the Express’ music began. This doesn’t seem right, but the graphic indicates this is only the second time Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus are teaming together in a two-on-two tag match.

Jungle Boy ran wild on both heels and was going for some sort of slingshot maneuver, but Penelope tripped him up and Sabian took over. Sabian and Avalon worked well together. Avalon missed a beautiful moonsault, giving Jungle Boy room to crawl for a tag. However. Ford grabbed one of Leva’s books and threw it into the ring to distract the referee, so the heels kept control.

Unfortunately for Sabian and Avalon, their ladies could not get along. Bates and Ford began arguing with one another, which distracted the team long enough for Luchasaurus to get the tag. He had it almost had it won with a moonsault to Avalon, but Sabian bum-rushed into the pile, breaking up the cover. Luchasaurus gave Sabian the tail whip, allowing Jungle Boy to pin Avalon following an assisted cutter.

**********

Tony Schiavone and Dasha Gonzalez previewed the rest of the show. Dasha wanted to know why Tony was wearing a Nightmare Family shirt. Turns out 20% of the proceeds of that shirt up until March 14 will be donated to Planned Pethood.

**********

Jimmy Havoc defeated Severino Corrente

I believe “Severino Corrente” loosely translates to “lamb being led to slaughter.”

Corrente had his fingers yanked back. Most people would be like “I’m done”. Instead Corrente punched Havoc to no avail. Jimmy used a discus elbow to the face and went for some sort of fireman’s carry, but Corrente raked the eyes.

Corrente started to build momentum, but then he ran chest-first into Jimmy’s feet. He did duck an Acid Rainmaker and used a German suplex into the corner turnbuckles. He tried to fishhook Havoc, but instead Jimmy bit his fingers. A series of impact moves followed, including a leg hook DDT and finished off Corrente with an Acid Rainmaker for the pin.

Havoc beckoned to the back, daring Luther and Mel to come out. Unfortunately, you get what you ask for, as Luther flew down the ramp and attacked Havoc from behind, eventually laying out Havoc with a DDT on the ramp.

**********

Hikaru Shida defeated Abadon

Abadon is one of the most unique looking wrestlers on the roster. She has done her face paint to look like blood is seeping from her forehead into her eye and down her cheek. She is certainly a sight to behold. By comparison, Hikaru Shida does not look like she has blood coming out of her eye.

Some of the crowd chanted for Abadon to “eat her soul” despite being the heel and Shida being very well liked. Abadon tried to eat Shida’s hand, which threw off the number one ranked contender. Abadon looked really good here and I really hope she’s not one and done. Abadon had her tied in the ropes and licked Shida’s face. Shida was not happy about this, possibly for more than one reason.

Abadon didn’t sell for much, but she definitely felt it when Shida used a running knee in the corner and a missile dropkick. Shida nailed a knee to the back of the head, but Abadon almost won with the Edge-a-matic. Shida finally managed to hit a Shining Wizard for the win.

**********

Backstage, Dasha asked Jimmy Havoc for an update on his injuries. Havoc thanked Luther for doing it, so being the nice guy Luther is, he attacked Havoc again and had to be dragged away.

**********

The Librarians were telling us about the newest book of the month, which is Written In The Stars. They came upon Colt Cabana, who was listening to a podcast instead of reading a book. Avalon kept recommending authors, so Colt recommended podcasts. This led to a challenge for a match.

Leva went back and told Colt she loves his podcast.

**********

Private Party defeated Sonny Kiss & Brandon Cutler

A few weeks ago, Cutler almost beat Private Party by himself when his partner, Shawn Spears walked out. So how will things be when he has a loyal partner? Either way, Cutler is dueling it out with Peter Avalon for the worst record in AEW at 0-9.

Cutler did a great job countering Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen, much like he did the last time they met. This time Sonny got involved and it ended up in a standoff. Excalibur wondered if Quen and Sonny got their hair done at the same place, which led Taz to say he thinks they go to the same “Dye-ist”. While this conversation was going on, Kiss went down to a combo Rude Awakening/Double Foot Stomp, giving Private Party the advantage.

Private Party mimicked Kiss while getting the heat on him. Cutler got the hot tag and used a beautiful springboard double clothesline. Cutler looked good, laying a beating on both men. We did have a contrived spot where Kassidy was laying on the middle rope and had to stay hanging there while Cutler did moves to Quen first.

Get out the hammer and nails, because this team of Cutler and Kiss are BUILDING MOMENTUM! Kiss went for a boot on Quen, but Marq moved and Kiss ended up in the splits. Quen went for what turned into a Moonsault with double knees. Cutler got in and started doing moves without getting a tag. The referee kept telling him he’s not legal, but Cutler ignored him and hit the TPK on both members of Private Party. Kiss went to the middle rope, but Kassidy prevented him from leaping off. Quen tagged in as Private Party nailed Kiss with the Gin and Juice for the win.

Suddenly, from out of nowhere (or just off the camera), Death Triangle ran in to attack Private Party! PAC, Pentagon and Fenix ended up laying out not only them, but also Cutler and Kiss, who tried to make the save.

PAC took the mic and told all of AEW that if they continue to disrespect athletes of their caliber, they’ll get exactly what they asked for. Joey Janela tried to run in for the save, but was also laid out. Best Friends and Orange Cassidy then hit the ring to send the Death Triangle reeling as the show closed
