The lineup for a special return episode of AEW Dark has been announced.
Tony Khan revealed prior to Saturday’s AEW Collision in Cardiff, Wales, that the show would return for one night only. Matches were taped following Collision and are set to air on AEW’s YouTube channel on Tuesday, December 16.
Khan said to the live crowd at the Utilita Arena on Saturday:
“Because I love Cardiff so much I went to the great executives at Warner Bros. Discovery, the great company that powers the engine that makes AEW possible and I said to them, ‘Please, it’s a holiday season, for one night only, because there’s hardcore AEW fans in Cardiff this holiday season tonight I want to bring back, for one night only, AEW Dark!”
“And you know what they said? They said yes!”
The lineup for Tuesday’s show is below.

Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, & Mascara Dorada vs. Mark Andrews, Kid Lykos I & Kid Lykos II
Marina Shafir vs. Isla Dawn
This Tuesday, 12/16!
It's a Christmas miracle! For one night only, #AEWDark RETURNS with a Stocking Stuffer!
Ahead of today’s AEW Collision from the Utilita Arena in Cardiff, Wales, Tony Khan announced to the live crowd that he had asked Warner Bros. Discovery for permission to bring the show back and it was approved.
Khan said on today’s show:
“Because I love Cardiff so much I went to the great executives at Warner Bros. Discovery, the great company that powers the engine that makes AEW possible and I said to them, ‘Please, it’s a holiday season, for one night only, because there’s hardcore AEW fans in Cardiff this holiday season tonight I want to bring back, for one night only, AEW Dark!”
“And you know what they said? They said yes!”
Khan added that the show would take place after Collision, which is currently being filmed.
AEW Dark originally ran from October 8, 2019, to April 25, 2023, and aired on AEW’s official YouTube channel.
AEW Collision Winter is Coming lineup for Saturday, December 13 —
TNT Champion Mark Briscoe defends against Daniel Garcia
Julia Hart & Skye Blue vs. Jamie Hayter & Kris Statlander
Swerve Strickland vs. Josh Alexander
Continental Classic Blue League: Claudio Castagnoli vs. Konosuke Takeshita
Continental Classic Gold League: Kevin Knight vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey
Tony Khan would be “very open” to bringing AEW Dark back in the future if circumstances allow.
AEW Dark and its sister show Dark: Elevation ended in April 2023 when AEW reached a new media rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery that saw Collision added to the promotion’s weekly TV lineup. Both Dark shows had aired on YouTube, and a decision was made to only focus on AEW programs that were broadcast on WBD properties.
Khan told WGN Radio this week that he would love to bring Dark back, but it would have to make sense for WBD.
“I would love to do that,” he said. “I think it has to be something that makes sense with our media partners, because when we launched AEW Collision, which is such an important part of AEW TV every week… And when we really had this great opportunity to go into a new media rights package, and it’s the lifeblood of AEW. So if we bring AEW Dark back, I just want to make sure that whatever we do makes sense to our great media partners with Warner Bros. Discovery.”
Dark first existed as a show that aired bonus matches when AEW TV launched in 2019. It became a program that spotlighted enhancement wrestlers and some lesser-used AEW talent, and it also provided a place for many indie wrestlers to work during the pandemic era.
“I loved doing AEW Dark. I have so many great memories,” Khan told WGN Radio. “We’ve done hundreds of episodes of it. I love it, but across Dark and Elevation, for either or both of them to ever return, I just want to make sure it makes sense to bring AEW Dark back. Because it was a conscious decision we made when we launched AEW Collision to sunset those for the time being. And I’m very open to their return if it ever makes sense for Warner Bros. Discovery.”
WGN Radio’s full interview with Khan can be seen below:
The question as to the immediate future of both AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation has been answered.
Andrew Zarian reported Wednesday that both shows are done “for the time being.” Part of that is due to an exclusivity clause as part of the new deal between AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery that will see AEW Collision soon debut on Saturdays.
Zarian said as of now, that clause doesn’t include Ring of Honor content which currently streams on Tony Khan’s HonorClub platform.
AEW Dark and Dark Elevation have ended for the time being.
This in part has to do with AEW signing a new deal for AEW Collision to air on Saturdays.
Part of the new deal is that AEW Wrestling content will exclusively air on WBD.
Both shows didn’t air this week on YouTube and there was no announcement by the company, or Khan, as to why. Content for Dark: Elevation had previously been filmed prior to Dynamite but in recent weeks, that spot has been reserved for ROH.
While sometimes filmed prior to live editions of AEW Rampage, Dark has been filmed recently in six-hour marathon sessions at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. The next taping sessions are scheduled for this weekend, but for ROH content instead.
AEW Dark debuted on YouTube in October 2019 the week after Dynamite did and ran for 193 episodes, primarily on Tuesdays. Dark: Elevation debuted in March 2021 for 115 episodes, primarily on Mondays.
Throughout their runs, both shows featured hundreds of indie wrestlers getting their opportunity to work against AEW contracted talent in a bigger spotlight — some of which went on to be signed by the company.
Cameron dominated from the get go, slamming Mafiosa to the mat. Seconds later, Cameron took a selfie with her in the midst of the match, humiliating her. Shortly after, Cameron finished off Mafiosa with a backstabber.
– Brock Anderson & Brian Pillman Jr. cut a backstage promo about furthering their dominance as a tag team.
Blake Christian defeated Lee Johnson
Johnson and Christian locked up early, but Johnson gained the advantage after nailing Christian with a cheap shot. Johnson then whipped Christian into the turnbuckle, causing him to crash to the mat.
After a vertical suplex, Johnson tried to pin Christian but ended up with a near fall. Christian responded with a ripcord Spanish fly for his own near fall. Christian then tried to hit a 450 splash, but Johnson rolled out of the way at the last second. Instead, Christian met Johnson on the apron, speared him to the floor, and dove onto him to a big crowd reaction.
Christian then tried to dive onto Johnson with a springboard splash once he rolled back in the ring, but Johnson got the knees up. Moments later, Christian hit his double curb stomp on Johnson to pick up his second straight win.
Brock Anderson & Brian Pillman Jr. (w/ Arn Anderson) defeated The Wingmen (Cezar Bononi & Ryan Nemeth) (w/ Peter Avalon)
An early tag from Nemeth to Bononi led to stomping on Pillman’s midsection and neck area. Nemeth came back in and taunted before resorting back to his beatdown of Pillman.
Anderson eventually got a hot tag and laid in a few shots on Nemeth before sending Bononi crashing out of the ring. Seconds later, Anderson trapped Nemeth in a small package to score the victory.
Mei Suruga & Emi Sakura defeated Reka Tehaka & Ashley D’Amboise
Suruga & Sakura jumped Tehaka & D’Amboise as the bell rang. Sakura hit a double crossbody on both her opponents in the corner before Suruga got on Sakura’s shoulders, allowing the pair to hit the cannonball slam.
Sakura then hit her signature piledriver on D’Amboise, but Tehaka broke up the pin at the last possible second. Moments later, Sakura hit her signature moonsault on D’Amboise to pick up the victory.
Zack Clayton defeated Jake Logan
Logan was able to get in some early offense, but Clayton spilled the match to the outside and tossed him into the ringside steps. Clayton then positioned Logan on apron and sent him crashing to the mat with a over-the-top suplex. Clayton quickly put away Logan with a modified brainbuster shortly after for his sixth straight win.
Dark Order (John Silver & Alex Reynolds) defeated Varsity Athletes (Tony Nese & Josh Woods)
Woods had an early advantage on Reynolds as the two traded various strikes. Reynolds fought back and was able to nail Woods with a dropkick from the middle rope. Woods tagged in Nese after pulling Reynolds’ shoulder through the middle rope.
Nese continued to focus on wearing down Reynolds while frequently exchanging tags with Woods. The match turned when Silver finally got the hot tag and took out Woods with a uppercut before turning his attention to Nese and nailing him with a series of kicks.
Silver and Reynolds were looking for a top rope move of some sorts when Ari Daivari ran down to the ring and pushed Silver off the top rope. Evil Uno leveled the playing field shortly after and tossed Daivari into the steel steps.
Silver and Reynolds then hit a lifting uppercut on Woods which took him out of the bout. The Dark Order duo hit their signature striking combination on Nese which ended with Reynolds getting the jackknife pin to score the win.
Tuesday’s AEW Dark will feature six matches that includes Dark Order, Harley Cameron and Blake Christian.
Dark Order’s John Silver & Alex Reynolds will look to continue their recent string of success as they take on the Varsity Athletes’ Josh Woods & Tony Nese.
In a rare in-ring appearance, Harley Cameron of QTV will be in action against Mafiosa and trying to score her second overall AEW win.
Zack Clayton will be looking for his sixth straight AEW singles victory as he faces Jake Logan.
Blake Christian will take on Lee Johnson as both men are in search of their second straight AEW victory.
Here’s the announced lineup:
Lee Johnson vs. Blake Christian
Harley Cameron vs. Mafiosa
Varsity Athletes (Josh Woods & Tony Nese) vs. Dark Order (John Silver & Alex Reynolds)
Emi Sakura & Mei Suruga vs. Reka Tehaka & Ashley D’Amboise
The Wingmen (Ryan Nemeth & Cezar Bononi) vs. Brock Anderson & Brian Pillman Jr.
This week’s AEW Dark action was taped at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
Juice Robinson defeated Pat Buck
This was the second AEW match for Buck, who is their vice president of talent development, and the first one that has been televised.
Buck and Robinson exchanged headlocks in the early stages. Buck got the upper hand after an armdrag, but Robinson then broke the hold and shoved Buck into the corner.
Robinson continued to work him down while playing to the crowd as the match went along. Buck then caught Robinson with a big powerslam out of nowhere for a near fall.
After a few more reversals, Robinson caught Buck with his signature Juice Is Loose DDT for the win.
The Renegades defeated Kiah Dream & Brittany J
Charlette Renegade and Brittany J started out and Charlette took her down with a clothesline before tagging out to Robyn Renegade. Robyn did minimal damage before tagging back out to Charlette who nailed J with a pump kick.
Dream entered off a hot tag, but immediately ran into a shotgun dropkick from Robyn. Moments later, the sisters hit Dream with a running assisted clothesline to pick up the victory.
Cole Karter defeated Hunter James
Karter took down James with both a shoulder tackle and clothesline early on. Karter continued to dominate, eventually hitting James with a swinging DDT to pick up the victory.
Iron Savages (w/ Jameson Ryan) defeated The TrustBusters (Jeeves Kay & Sonny Kiss)
Kay took out Bronson with a dive to the outside in the early going. After tossing him back in the ring, he then hit Bronson with a frog splash for a near fall.
Kay continued his momentum, hitting Bronson with a DDT after Sonny Kiss provided a distraction. Kiss and Boulder then entered the fray.
Boulder delivering a double flatliner to both Kay and Kiss. Kiss tried to get back on track with a backspring slap, but Boulder blocked it at the last second. Boulder then power bombed and powerslammed Kiss and Kay at the same time before tagging in Bronson.
Moments later, Boulder lifted up Bronson for an assisted splash onto Kiss to score the win.
Marina Shafir defeated Dream Girl Ellie
Ellie tried to apply a headlock, but Shafir backed herself in the corner and escaped. Ellie then applied a wrist lock and nailed Shafir with a few stiff kicks to the face before Shafir drove her into the mat with a hammerlock suplex. Moments later, Shafir submitted her with a combination arm/leg lock.
Levy tried to showboat early on, but Johl delivered a suplex to take him out of the match. Diaz later showed some flashy moves before being taken out by a Raju flatliner. Moments later, Levy re-entered and was hit with a combination pump kick/knee from both Raju and Johl, giving them the win.
Christopher Daniels defeated Angelico
Daniels tied up his opponent with an arm submission. The hold quickly transitioned to the mat where Daniels remained in control of Angelico’s arm.
Angelico turned the tables on Daniels and started to focus on his ankle which Daniels evaded with a rope break. Angelico proceeded to drop Daniels on the mat with a suplex for a near fall. Daniels responded with a modified suplex from the second rope for a near fall of his own.
Angelico played possum after the pin and was able to bait Daniels into a STF type submission, but Daniels was once again able to break the hold with a rope break. Moments later, Daniels hit Angelico with his signature Angel’s Wings move out of nowhere to pick up the win.
Seven matches have been confirmed for Tuesday’s show including Angelico vs. Christopher Daniels, Marina Shafir vs. Dream Girl Ellie, and The Iron Savages vs. The Trustbusters.
Juice Robinson will also face Pat Buck in singles competition. Buck is the AEW Vice President of Talent Development and will be wrestling in his second match for the promotion. He was defeated by QT Marshall at AEW’s house show in Troy, Ohio last month.
Cole Karter, Jora Johl, Rohit Raju, and The Renegades will also be in action.
This week’s episode was filmed on March 24, 2023, from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
AEW Dark 4/18 lineup:
Angelico vs Christopher Daniels
The Iron Savages (Boulder & Bronson) w/JT Davidson vs. The Trustbusters (Jeeves Kay & Sonny Kiss) w/Slim J
Jora Johl & Rohit Raju vs. Ariel Levy & Jarett Diaz
Marina Shafir vs. Dream Girl Ellie
Cole Karter vs. Hunter James
Juice Robinson vs. Pat Buck
The Renegades (Charlette & Robyn Renegade) vs. Brittany J & Kiah Dream
This week’s four-match AEW Dark lineup was taped at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
Matt Taven defeated Brian Pillman Jr.
Taven and Pillman started off by exchanging wristlocks. Pillman followed one up with a chop to Taven who responded with a dropkick.
After a back-and-forth running sequence, Pillman trapped Taven’s head in the corner and bounced it off the turnbuckle on a few separate occasions before attempting an unsuccessful pin.
Taven took control, trying to work down the shoulders of Pillman. The crowd willed Pillman back into the match, allowing him to take down Taven with a few running strikes and a Northern Lights suplex.
Pillman was seemingly on his way to winning the match, but Taven rolled out of the way of Pillman’s senton attempt from the top rope. Moments later, he drilled Pillman with his signature DDT to win the match.
Lee Johnson defeated Blake Li
Johnson started off in full control, nailing Li with a few different strikes before sending him crashing to the mat with a suplex. Moments later, Johnson hit Li with a fisherman’s neckbreaker to pick up the victory.
– Toni Storm cut a promo about the rampage she’s been on recently against the “homegrown” stars of AEW. Storm finished by saying that every girl in her way is going to get what is coming to them.
Josh Woods defeated Daisy K
Although Daisy K tried to show off his strength on a few different occasions, nearly all of them backfired. Woods eventually blasted him with a knee strike before hitting him with a move that Taz described as the West Palm Beach Oil Rigger, leading to the successful pinfall.
– Lance Archer cut a promo about wanting better opponents, citing that things are going too easy for him at the moment.
Willow Nightingale defeated Diamante
Diamante started out by applying an arm submission attempt on Nightingale who escaped with ease. Nightingale followed up the escape by planting Diamante with a variation of a side slam for a quick near fall.
Diamante gained the upper hand after blasting Nightingale off the apron with a dropkick to the back. Diamante followed up that by stretching Nightingale’s back across the ring post before rolling her back in the ring.
Diamante then positioned Nightingale on the top turnbuckle, allowing “The Babe With Power” to send her across the ring with a shotgun dropkick. Nightingale followed up with a standing spinebuster for another near fall.
Moments later, Nightingale finished off Diamante with a doctor bomb to score the win.
AEW has announced a four-match lineup for Tuesday’s AEW Dark.
Matt Taven of The Kingdom will take on Brian Pillman Jr. It will be Taven’s second singles match in AEW as he previously lost in a title challenge of then-TNT Champion Wardlow in October. Pillman will be looking for his first AEW singles win since December 2021.
Willow Nightingale will take on Diamante. Nightingale has been splitting duty with AEW and Ring of Honor lately and will be looking to rebound from her recent Dynamite loss to Ruby Soho. Diamante has lost two straight, both to Riho.
Lee Johnson will take on Blake Li as Johnson is hoping to get his first AEW singles win since last March (0-4).
Josh Woods will take on Daisy K in Woods’ first singles match since losing to Mark Briscoe on a mid-February Dynamite.
It’s Tuesday and you know what that means: AEW Dark taped several weeks ago in Orlando, Florida, with Excalibur and Taz on commentary.
AR Fox defeated Peter Avalon (5:45)
Fox hit a no hands plancha onto Avalon followed by a leg drop off the top onto a prone Avalon on the apron. Avalon countered a suplex attempt with a small package, then catching Fox with a superkick. Avalon and Fox exchanged chops until Avalon went to the eyes and hit a suplex for a near fall.
Fox escaped a suplex attempt and Avalon missed a moonsault. Fox then hit a pair of unique cutters for a near fall. Avalon hit a death valley driver on the apron and then followed up with a sit-out death valley driver for a near fall. Fox missed a 450 splash, but landed on his feet. Avalon went for a sunset flip, but Fox countered and after a series of counters between Fox and Avalon, Fox got the pinfall in a fun opener.
Mack delivered some very creative arm drags. Serpentico clipped Mack’s knee when Luther distracted him. Serpentico then worked over his leg which Mack sold well. According to the commentary team, Luther smells like “bologna and ice cream” which I don’t imagine goes well together.
Mack eventually rallied and went for a piledriver, but Serpentico countered by grabbing Mack’s knee. Serpentico hit a senton atomico on Mack’s knee for a near fall. He tried to suplex the much larger Mack, but he blocked it easily. Serpentico tried to come off the top with a crossbody, but Mack muscled him up for a sit-out power bomb. This was a solid match with a good little story. I wouldn’t mind seeing more of Mack on the bigger shows.
Leila Grey defeated Ameera (2:19)
Grey got the win with a sit-out Jay Driller in a quick squash.
Varsity Athletes (Tony Nese & Ari Daivari) (w/ Mark Sterling & Josh Woods) defeated Jay Lucas & Terry Yaki (2:46)
Sterling did the ring introductions for Nese and Daivari. In a later interview segment, he confirmed Daivari is a member of both the Varsity Athletes and the Trustbusters. Is either really worth listing on his resume? Daivaria caught Lucas with a superkick and then launched him into a cutter from Nese for the pinfall in another quick squash.
Lee Moriarty defeated Invictus Khash (3:29)
Moriarty locked in a full nelson, but Kash escaped and took him down with an ankle pick. Khash went to pick up Moriarty, but Moriarty locked him in cravat. There was some really good mat wrestling here as you might expect. Moriarty got a nearfall with a sunset flip. Khash went for a cover, but Moriarty caught him with a low blow on the kickout, followed by a leg lariat for the pinfall.
Evil Uno defeated Cezar Bononi (4:41)
Uno hit a high boot on Bononi to start which was no sold. Bononi hit his own big boot to take advantage. Bononi kicked Uno out of his vest for a near fall. Bononi sent him to the floor with a chop and then threw him into the ring steps.
Back in the ring, Bononi hit a double underhook power bomb for a nearfall. Bononi charged into a boot from Uno who sent Bononi headfirst into the turnbuckle, followed by a short arm lariat. Uno used a crisp-looking piledriver for the pinfall.
Toni Storm defeated Kiera Hogan (7:15)
After an initial back and forth flurry from both women, the former AEW Women’s Champion caught Hogan with a hip attack to send her to the floor. Storm dragged Hogan around ringside by the hair and whipped her into the barricades. Back in the ring, Hogan tried to come back but Storm put her down with a forearm.
Storm hit a snap suplex and followed up with a boot for a near fall. Storm locked in a full nelson, but Hogan battled out with elbows. She caught Storm with a hip attack and hit a crossbody for a near fall.
Storm called for a timeout and began selling her ankle. The ref checked on her, but it was all a ruse. When Hogan got too close, Storm sent her into the turnbuckles and hit a spinning DDT for a near fall. Hogan came back with an hangman’s neckbreaker for a near fall. Storm hit a shotgun dropkick to send Hogan in the corner, delivered the hip attack, and the Storm Zero piledriver for the win in a seven-minute match that felt like 20.
This week’s AEW Dark featured matches taped at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
AR Fox defeated Nick Comoroto
Comoroto took Fox off his feet at the beginning before knocking him down with a big boot. Fox quickly recovered and turned a springboard maneuver into a bulldog. Comoroto tried to maintain control by applying a gut wrench, but Fox escaped by hitting him with a kick to the head.
Moments later, Fox took out Comoroto with a dive at ringside. He hit another dive before tossing Comoroto back in the ring where he was able to take down Fox with a uranage. After failing to successfully get the win, Comoroto tried to take down Fox with some type of slam, but Fox was able to reverse. He then quickly went to the top rope and hit Comoroto with a swanton bomb and a 450 splash to pick up the victory.
Skye Blue defeated Queen Aminata
This was a surprisingly fun match.
Blue and Aminata started off by trying to outdo one another. The match quickly spilled to the outside where Aminata sent Blue crashing into the floor with a suplex. Blue then proceeded to drop Aminata face-first on the apron before taking her out at ringside with a diving crossbody.
The match spilled back in the ring followed by the two women trading strikes for an extended period of time. Aminata got the upper hand after cracking Blue with a headbutt and a hip attack. Aminata then tried to capitalize on her momentum, but Blue hit her with superkick and a flatliner to score the win.
Evil Uno defeated Alexander Moss
The two exchanged chops in the early stages and quickly after, Uno drove Moss into the mat with not one, but two piledrivers to wrap the match quickly.
Marina Shafir defeated Steph De Lander
This was the AEW debut for the former Persia Pirotta in WWE NXT.
Shafir was matched in terms of physicality early on as Lander charged her in the corner with an elbow. Shafir turned the tables and caught one of Lander’s roundhouse kick attempts, turning it into a submission that made Lander submit quickly.
Zack Clayton defeated Schaff
Clayton had control from the get-go which led to him picking up the victory in roughly two minutes after drilling Schaff with a modified brainbuster.
Top Flight defeated Liam Gray & Adrian Alanis
Dante Martin took down Alanis with a shoulderblock early and tagged out to Darius Martin, who came in and hit a senton. The match spilled outside where Dante and Darius tried to dive on their opponents, but ultimately failed.
Alanis was able to isolate Darius for a moment, allowing Gray to come in. The duo took out Darius with a suplex/crossbody combo that got a near fall that Dante broke up. Moments later, Darius caught Gray with a head kick which was followed by a modified flatliner from Dante which got the brothers the win.
QT Marshall & Aaron Solo (w/ Harley Cameron) defeated Austin Green & Vary Morales
Marshall and Solo struggled early as Green used his size to pummel both of them. The match turned when Morales came in and tried to stand on Green’s shoulders. Solo chopped Green’s knee, sending Morales crashing to the mat. Moments later, Marshall pinned Morales after hitting him with a Dirtsheet Driver.
Brady Booker defeated Serpentico
Booker (the former Bodhi Hayward in WWE NXT) performed a couple of his signature up downs on Serpentico to start but Serpentico responded with a dropkick. Serpentico then tried to hit Booker with a diving senton, but Booker moved out of the way and took him out with a shoulder tackle and a jumping splash.
Booker would end up making Serpentico submit with a torture rack shortly after.
Konosuke Takeshita defeated Cole Karter
Takeshita and Karter exchanged reversals back and forth as the opening bell rang. Karter took brief control after stomping down Takeshita on the mat. Karter further retained his control, hitting Takeshita with a dropkick that resulted in a near fall.
Takeshita eventually made it back to his feet and delivered a few thunderous chops. Seconds later, Takeshita took out Karter with a dive on the outside, much to the thrill of the live crowd.
Takeshita and Karter then engaged in a striking war inside the ring, leading to Karter hitting him with a TKO. Karter then tried to hit a 450, but Takeshita rolled out of the way and hit him with a jumping knee strike to the back. Takeshita then finished things off after hitting Karter with his signature running knee strike.
A former WWE NXT wrestler will make her AEW debut on Tuesday’s AEW Dark.
Steph De Lander, the former Persia Pirotta in NXT, will wrestle her first bout in a Tony Khan organization as she faces Marina Shafir. Pirotta was released last year and made her Impact Wrestling debut this year.
De Lander’s former NXT rostermate Brady Booker (Bodhi Hayward) will have his second AEW outing as he takes on Serpentico.
Tuesday’s lineup was taped at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, last month.
Konosuke Takeshita will look to keep his recent win streak going as he faces Cole Karter.
Karter’s former mates who are now QTV (QT Marshall & Aaron Solo) will be in action against Austin Green & Vary Morales. Nick Comoroto, another former Factory member, will also take on AR Fox on the show.

Friday Update
Garrett Gonzales and I did a news update show today. Bryan and I will be doing our weekend show on Sunday night. You can send questions to [email protected]
Want to mention what a great job Josh Alexander did as Impact champion, and for that matter, the strong storyline follow-through Impact did with Mickie James as champion. Alexander had surgery for a torn triceps today suffered at the World Cup show in Mexico and will be out of action. On today’s show with Garrett I may have mentioned biceps but it was triceps. So the company lost both champions at the same time. The men’s title will be up in a match on 4/16 at the Rebellion PPV with Steve Maclin vs. Kushida to determine the new champion. They will address the women’s title on the show tonight in Windsor, ONT on Impact +. Impact said that the announcement for the 3/30 show where Alexander was to defend against Kushida would be announced shortly.
