  • Jimmy Havoc defeated Sonny Kiss. This is Havoc’s first match in AEW since December.
  • Hikaru Shida defeated Cassandra Golden
  • The Dark Order defeated Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt

During the tapings, ring announcer Justin Roberts introduced Missy Hyatt and Austin Idol to the crowd. Both appeared regularly in the Alabama area for Continental Championship Wrestling during the 1980s.

Next week’s episode of Dynamite will feature two title matches: Hangman Page and Kenny Omega will defend the Tag Team titles against SCU (Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky), while Riho will defend the Women’s title against Nyla Rose. Jon Moxley will also be in action, taking on Santana in what is being billed as a “eye for an eye” match.

Dynamite next week will be at the H.E.B. Center in Austin, Texas.

AEW Dark spoilers: Hikaru Shida in action

Here are AEW Dark spoilers that were taped following tonight’s Dynamite taping in Cleveland, Ohio.

Taz joined Excalibur on commentary. Taz has recently signed a multi-year contract with the company.

Jurassic Express defeated Brandon Cutler and Sonny Kiss

Hiraku Shida defeated Mel

– After the match, Mel and Dr. Luther attacked Awesome Kong.

Best Friends defeated Shawn Spears and Colin Delaney

– At one point in the match, Orange Cassidy and Tully Blanchard stood face-to-face in the ring. Cassidy was doing his leg kicks when he was jumped from behind by Spears and was thrown out of the ring.

Scheduled for next week’s episode of Dynamite is Cody taking ten lashes as part of his stipulation agreement, The Young Bucks, Hangman Page, and Kenny Omega against The Butcher, The Blade and The Lucha Bros., Jon Moxley vs. Ortiz and Britt Baker vs. Yuka Sakazaki.

Dynamite next week will take place at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

AEW Dark spoilers: SCU vs. Kip Sabian & The Hybrid 2

The first AEW Dark tapings of 2020 were held at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida last night.

There were three matches taped for the show, with one being taped before Dynamite and two being filmed after. The episode will premiere on YouTube at 7 p.m. Eastern time next Tuesday.

– Chuck Taylor was on commentary with Excalibur.

– Billy Gunn & Austin Gunn defeated Shawn Spears & Preston Vance

This was the first time Austin Gunn has wrestled for AEW, though he was an entrant in the Over Budget Battle Royale at All In.

Spears laid out Vance after they lost.

– Awesome Kong (w/ Brandi Rhodes) defeated Skyler Moore

– SCU (Scorpio Sky, Frankie Kazarian & Christopher Daniels) defeated Kip Sabian (w/ Penelope Ford) & The Hybrid 2 (Jack Evans & Angelico)

Ford and Sabian took part in an angle on Dynamite last night where Ford low blowed Joey Janela during a backstage interview. SCU also did an interview on last night’s Dynamite, with Sammy Guevara challenging Daniels to a match on Dynamite next week.

AEW Dark spoilers: Colt Cabana on commentary

After finishing up with Ring of Honor, Colt Cabana made an appearance as a guest commentator at last night’s AEW Dark tapings.

Cabana, who was on a handshake deal with ROH, finished up with them at Final Battle last Friday night. Cabana also lost the NWA National Championship at the NWA’s Into the Fire pay-per-view on Saturday. He took part in the NWA’s post-PPV television tapings on Sunday and Monday and is in their Television title tournament.

Three matches were taped for AEW Dark at the American Bank Center Arena in Corpus Christi, Texas last night. The show will air on YouTube at 7 p.m. Eastern time next Tuesday.

– AEW posted video of Cabana making his entrance to do commentary.

– PAC brought out Michael Nakazawa and tried to call out Kenny Omega, but Omega didn’t appear.

– Joey Janela defeated Shawn Spears

Janela was dressed as Santa Claus. There was a dark segment after the match where babyfaces — including referee Aubrey Edwards and Tony Khan — gave Spears stunners.

AEW Dark spoilers: Four matches, Vickie Guerrero on commentary

Last night’s AEW Dark tapings in Garland, Texas featured four matches and an appearance by Vickie Guerrero as a guest commentator.

– AEW Tag Team Champions SCU (Scorpio Sky & Frankie Kazarian) defeated Private Party (Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy) in a non-title match

With The Young Bucks defeating Santana & Ortiz in their Texas street fight, SCU will defend their titles against The Young Bucks on Dynamite next Wednesday. 

– Britt Baker defeated Machiko

Local wrestler Machiko made an appearance here.

– Kris Statlander defeated Bea Priestley

Statlander will face Baker in a number one contender’s match on next week’s Dynamite.

– PAC & The Hybrid 2 (Jack Evans & Angelico) defeated Best Friends (Trent Barreta & Chuck Taylor) & Orange Cassidy

These matches will air on YouTube at 7 p.m. Eastern time next Tuesday.

AEW will be in Corpus Christi, Texas for Dynamite next week, with the show also featuring AEW World Champion Chris Jericho vs. Jungle Boy in a non-title match with a 10-minute time limit and The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr. & Fenix) vs. Kenny Omega & Hangman Page.

AEW Dark spoilers: Kenny Omega vs. Kip Sabian

Kenny Omega vs. Kip Sabian headlined last night’s AEW Dark tapings at the State Farm Center in Champaign, Illinois.

The tapings included one match that was taped before Dynamite went on the air and two that were taped after. Here are the results:

– Scorpio Sky defeated Peter Avalon and Jimmy Havoc in a triple threat match

Sky picked up the win here after unsuccessfully challenging for Chris Jericho’s AEW World Championship in the main event of last week’s Dynamite.

– Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus & Marko Stunt) defeated John Silver & Alex Reynolds

– Kenny Omega defeated Kip Sabian

This was the third match that Omega has had on AEW Dark. He defended his AAA Mega Championship against Jack Evans on the episode that aired last week and defeated Joey Janela in an unsanctioned match in October.

Chuck Taylor, Orange Cassidy, and Britt Baker made appearances as guest commentators at last night’s tapings. The episode will premiere on YouTube at 7 p.m. Eastern time next Tuesday.

AEW Dark spoilers: Kenny Omega defends AAA Mega title

Last night’s AEW Dark tapings were headlined by Kenny Omega’s first AAA Mega Championship defense.

Four matches were taped at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum surrounding last night’s Dynamite. Shawn Spears was the guest commentator for the show.

– Trent Barreta defeated Pentagon Jr.

This matched was taped before Dynamite, with the other three matches being taped after.

– Awesome Kong defeated Leva Bates

Awesome Kong won quickly.

– Shanna defeated Big Swole

This was Shanna’s third match for AEW and her first win. She’s signed with the promotion and made her debut against Hikaru Shida on the October 30 episode of Dynamite.

– AAA Mega Champion Kenny Omega defeated Jack Evans to retain his title

Omega won the title by defeating Fenix at AAA Heroes Inmortales last month.

These matches will air on YouTube at 7 p.m. Eastern time next Tuesday (November 26). Next Wednesday’s Dynamite is taking place at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois on the night before Thanksgiving.
