Three new matches are official for the next AEW Dynamite.
Shane Taylor made it a point on Saturday to not only go after the Death Riders, but also towards Jon Moxley, calling him out after quickly defeating Alan Angels on Collision. Later in the show, Taylor officially called out Moxley for next week for the Continental title, showing on camera that he had jumped and attacked Wheeler Yuta backstage.
Moxley appeared later in the show and accepted Taylor’s challenge. He said the might have done the same thing, but wouldn’t have made the move unless he was absolutely sure. At Dynamite, he promised to give Taylor exactly what he asked for.
Meanwhile, a member of the Death Riders will take on a member of the Conglomeration when Mark Briscoe takes on PAC. The Dogs will also face The Young Bucks after they issued a challenge on Saturday, upset after Nick & Matt Jackson confronted them on Dynamite.
Orange Cassidy also accepted a challenge from Rocky Romero to face Andrade for this Wednesday.

A trademark filed quite some time ago finally comes to fruition Saturday in West Palm Beach, Florida, with AEW’s first-ever Fairway to Hell one hour special on TBS.
In the headliner, AEW World Champion Darby Allin will defend against PAC who called for the shot last Wednesday on Dynamite. The two have had a rivalry of sorts over the past few years with Allin last defeating him this past January. The winner will defend against Kazuchika Okada this Wednesday.
AEW National Champion Jack Perry will defend against Mark Davis. It will be Perry’s fourth title defense and a rematch of his first from April’s Dynasty.
AEW Women’s Tag Team Champion Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne & Lena Kross) will appear in a non-title match.
Our live coverage kicks off at 8 pm Eastern.

Jungle Jack Perry vs. Mark Davis (w/ Don Callis) for the AEW National Championship
Jack Perry countered Davis with a hurricanrana out of a powerbomb right away, and landed on his feet after missing a moonsault into the ring. Davis went to the floor, so Perry hit a moonsault to the floor on him. Perry hit a shotgun dropkick on the floor and went for a Tiger Feint kick around the ring post, but Davis cut him off and hit a clothesline that saw Perry crash to the mat on the ground. Davis took Perry back into the ring and hit a series of hard strikes that kept Perry grounded. Davis hit a shoulder tackle on Perry as he was on the apron, and Perry nearly hit the guardrail.
Davis got the heat on Perry throughout the ad break, and we heard the production count down from 10 to live on MyAEW, which was kind of fun, though obviously a mistake. Perry hit a flying forearm off the ropes and Davis went down to his knees, but not fully down. Davis hit a back elbow as Perry charged the corner, and Davis put Perry on the top rope before going for a superplex. Perry bit Davis and then hit a sunset flip powerbomb of the ropes for a 2-count. Both men ended up on the apron and Perry hit hurricanrana from the middle rope off the apron on Davis before hitting his Tiger Feint Kick (which Schiavone called an Area Code kick, which I liked) around the ring post and a flying elbow off the top rope for a 2-count. Perry charged and Davis turned around and hit a lariat that stopped Perry in his tracks.
Davis hit a lariat and then a piledriver for a 2-count, but Perry kicked out. Davis tried to piledriver Perry off the middle rope but Perry sat up on it and hit a hurricanrana that sent Davis back into the ring. Don Callis ran down to distract the referee, and Ricochet ran out with a golden golf club in full golfing gear and cracked Perry in the back with the club. As the referee turned around, he saw Davis piledriving Perry for the victory!
Result: Mark Davis defeated Jack Perry for the AEW National Championship
This was a good match with an ending that I did not expect. Davis winning is very cool, and it also continues the feud with Perry and Ricochet.
–A great hype video aired for Nick Wayne touring with New Japan Pro Wrestling in the Best of the Super Juniors for the second time, and this time he wants to join the likes of Will Ospreay and Ricochet as a winner of the tournament. Excellent stuff here.
–Jack Perry was backstage talking about how Don Callis and Ricochet took away the title he worked so hard to win, and how he was so proud to win it in front of his family. Perry then said he was going to get revenge, and he was joining Chris Jericho against the Callis Family and Ricochet. Perry also announced that the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega will be joining too, so the Callis Family and Ricochet were in trouble.
–Don Callis was backstage with Mark Davis and Ricochet, and talked about how he just got the greatest gift he ever wanted from Jack Perry because he is being given a chance to have his guys beat up Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega on the same night. So, he is going to join Ricochet and the Gates of Agony in the Stadium Stampede and negotiate with Ricochet about which members will be joining besides Davis.
This was a 5 minute challenge, and Kross wasted no time beating on Lay and Slay (hey, that rhymes!) and tagging in Bayne, who hit a German suplex on Lay. Slay blind tagged in and went for a crossbody, but Bayne caught her and hit a Samoan drop on Lay and a fallaway slam on Slay before hitting Divine Intervention with Kross for the win.
–A hype video aired about Jamie Hayter beating Skye Blue on Dynamite and it was followed by the announcement of a 4-way match at Double or Nothing featuring Thekla vs. Hikaru Shida vs. Kris Statlander vs. Jamie Hayter.
–Don Callis was backstage again, and he talked about how no matter who won the the world title match tonight, the Don Callis Family was taking the title on Wednesday. Callis announced that Okada had to go to Japan to handle some family business, so Konosuke Takeshita was going to take his place on Wednesday to fight for the title against the winner of Darby Allin and PAC.
–A hype video aired for Kyle O’Reilly, showing his defeat of Jon Moxley last year, and then his winning the Trios titles with Roderick Strong and Orange Cassidy.
Mike Bailey (w/ Kevin Knight) vs. Kiran Grey
Bailey wasted no time, kicking Grey all over the ring and then hitting a triangle moonsault to the floor. Bailey climbed up the ropes again, but Grey cut him off. Bailey shoved him off, but Grey got right up and cut him off. Grey hit several strikes, but Bailey managed to recover, knock him off the ropes, and hit Ultima Weapon for the pinfall.
Result: Mike Bailey defeated Kiran Grey
–Kevin Knight grabbed a mic afterwards and said that Bailey was red hot, and while Knight did not win the world title, he and Bailey can still make it to the top.
–A hype video aired for PAC and Darby Allin. This was excellent.
Darby Allin vs. PAC for the AEW World Championship
Allin and PAC immediately rushed up the golf green in this unique venue. Darby hit a code red on PAC into the sand trap, and the crowd popped for that. Allin then hit a running shotgun dropkick and PAC did a full moonsault into another sand trap to an even bigger reaction. PAC, however, threw sand into Allin’s face and then hit a belly-to-belly suplex into the sand trap before locking on the Brutalizer in the sand. Tony Schiavone noted that while there are no countouts in this match, the match needed to end in the ring. PAC did not seem to care and just wanted to inflict punishment in the hopes of keeping Allin down before finishing him later.
PAC picked up Allin in a Gorilla Press and tossed Allin into the sand trap as they went to an ad break on TNT. PAC took Allin to the ring for a 2-count. PAC started hitting the ropes to go for a lariat, but Allin swept him from his feet and hit a Scorpion Death Lock for a 2-count. PAC cut Allin off and then hit a gigantic falcon arrow from the top rope for a 2-count. PAC setup a table at ringside and went for a shooting star press off the rope, but Allin moved and PAC crashed face first through the table. That had to suck. Allin then took PAC into the ring and locked on the Scorpion Death Lock, and PAC barely made it to the ropes to escape.
PAC then called for the Death Riders to run down, which distracted Allin and let PAC hit Allin from behind. PAC then sent the Death Riders to grab another table, with Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta setting up a table at ringside. PAC then picked up Darby Allin and hit a tombstone piledriver on the steel steps. As PAC put Allin on his shoulders he started walking him backstage as Yuta and Garcia setup four tables on in the entry way. Marina Shafir joined PAC, simply watching as PAC dragged Allin up a flight of stairs and over the announce area.
PAC dragged Allin over the entry way where the tables were setup and looked to launch Allin from the balcony through the tables. Allin started to fight back but Shafir distracted the referee and PAC was able to hit a low blow (I am not sure why, as the referee has allowed the usage of tables, so a low blow shouldn’t be a DQ). PAC then threw Allin off the balcony through the four tables, which was insane. PAC ran down the stairs and picked up Allin and threw him into the ring for a cover, but Allin kicked out at 2! The audience popped huge for that, so that absolutely worked. I am not sure how Allin can take this kind of punishment in real life, let alone in character, but man, what a tough man.
The Death Riders tried to interfere and the referee threw them out. As the referee was getting rid of Yuta and Garcia, Marina Shafir put the world title in PACs hands. PAC was about to hit Allin, but Allin fired up, kicked PAC low in revenge and hit PAC with the title before hitting the Coffin Drop for the pinfall. This match ruled.
Result: Darby Allin defeated PAC to retain the AEW World Championship
This was a fantastic main event, and exactly what you would expect from a no count out match with Darby Allin in it. Absolutely fantastic main event, and now we are going to get Darby Allin vs. Konosuke Takeshita on Dynamite, which should also be awesome. Once Allin loses this title I hope he takes a break for a few weeks because this pace is astonishing, but it has been very fun with him as champion thus far.
Final Thoughts
This was an easy thumbs up show with Darby Allin and PAC being the highlight, but we also got a title change in the opener with Mark Davis defeating Jack Perryand a series of good promos from the Callis Family throughout the show. I am not sure what the real reason is for Okada missing Dynamite, but Takeshita is a worthy replacement, and that match should be excellent. All in all, this was a great episode of Collision, and an easy watch even with the long overrun.
In a backstage segment, PAC called for the title shot as he is 2-1 against Allin all-time with their last bout taking place in January (an Allin win). It will be the second match set for the one-hour special, joining the Jack Perry National title defense against Mark Davis.
The winner of that match will then move on to next Wednesday on Dynamite against reigning AEW International Champion Kazuchika Okada. Okada picked up a title defense against Bryan Keith and then challenged Allin for a title shot. Okada later confronted Allin after his own title defense over Kevin Knight, demanding an answer.
Allin agreed, saying, “It’s on, b*tch.” It will be their first-ever singles match.
Both PAC and Okada are looking for their first-ever AEW World title run. If Allin survives the five-day stretch, a hair vs. title match may await him at Double or Nothing.

The contract signing between AEW World Champion MJF and Kenny Omega for next month’s Dynasty pay-per-view will take place on next week’s AEW Dynamite.
Kenny Omega defeated Swerve Strickland to win a title shot against MJF Wednesday, earning the shot against MJF and retaining his EVP status in the process. As part of the story, any physicality at the signing will cancel the title match.
The Wednesday, April 1 episode of Dynamite will take place in Omega’s hometown of Winnipeg and thus he will be doing double duty. In a segment shared to social media, Omega will team with Brody King and AEW National Champion Jack Perry against The Demand.
After challenging Jon Moxley for a match at Dynasty, Will Ospreay will takes on PAC in a singles contest. This will mark PAC’s first singles match since January 2026 while Ospreay returned on last week’s Dynamite with a win over Blake Christian — his first match since last August’s Forbidden Door due to neck surgery.

Announced at the end of Wednesday’s show, Omega could confront the winner of next Wednesday’s MJF vs. Bandido World title match, perhaps setting up a title match for March’s Revolution, if not sooner.
A new women’s trios match will see AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander team with AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions Babes of Wrath against the Triangle of Madness after the challenge was issued in a backstage segment by Thekla and the Sisters of Sin.
After chasing after him the entire episode and spraying him with a fire extinguisher, Darby Allin will finally get his rematch with PAC. It will be their third-ever AEW singles match with Allin still in search of his first victory. PAC defeated Allin at November’s Full Gear with Allin chasing a rematch ever since.

**********
AEW Collision wasted no time with PAC and Mike Bailey making their entrance for their first matches in the AEW Continental Classic.
PAC (0) vs. Mike Bailey (0) in a C2 Gold League Match
Bailey and PAC started the match exchanging chops, ending with Bailey hitting rapid kicks, but missing a pump kick when PAC was on the apron. PAC pulled Bailey to the floor and hit a snap suplex. PAC drove Bailey into the guardrails around ringside a few times before throwing him in the ring for a pinfall attempt. PAC dodged a kick from Bailey, but Bailey hit a dropkick of the middle rope and followed up with some hard kicks and a standing shooting star press for a 2-count.
PAC blocked another pump kick with PAC on the apron, but Bailey was smart this time and dropped down and swept the legs of PAC before hitting a triangle moonsault to the floor. Clever little spot there. Bailey hit several hard kicks to the chest of PAC, leaving him laying on the floor. PAC hit a belly-to-belly suplex on Bailey off the top rope when Bailey was going for something as they came back from break. PAC went to the top rope, but Bailey rolled away, and threw a kick that PAC leaned back to dodge. After dodging a second kick, PAC hit a pump kick and a German suplex.
Bailey stopped a sunset flip and hit a moonsault into double knees on PAC. Both men hit pump kicks at the same time and ended up rolling out of the ring on opposite sides of it. They decided to run around the ring and charge again, hitting double pump kicks again. PAC blocked a kick from Bailey, Bailey flipped out of it, but PAC sent Bailey into the announce table and hit a German suplex on the floor. Bailey got back onto the apron at 9 and charged Bailey, but Bailey leaped onto the top rope and as PAC slid to the floor, Bailey hit a moonsault.
PAC dodged Ultima Weapon and went for his running lariat that he has been using as a finishing move lately, but Bailey hit a spinning kick and went for another, but PAC ducked. Bailey managed to hit a thrust kick and went for Ultima Weapon again, but PAC dodged and hit a hard running lariat before locking on the Brutalizer for the submission victory as Bailey passed out in it.
Result: PAC (3) wins via submission (referee stoppage)
–Daniel Garcia was backstage with Jon Moxley, and he spoke with Lexy Nair, saying that he was finally going to put an end to Matt Menard tonight.
–Brodido were backstage with Renee Pacquette, and Bandido talked about how he felt terrible because it was his fault that they lost the tag team titles. Brody King said that he had nothing to be ashamed of, and that Brodido was not done yet, and they would challenge for the tag titles again. King then said that Bandido was defending his title at ROH Final Battle.
–The announcers then informed us of a change to the ROH Final Battle card with Rush being injured, and the title match was changed to a Survival of the Fittest match (a 6-man elimination match) featuring Blake Christian, Sammy Guevera, The Beast Mortos, Komander, & Hechicero.
Daniel Garcia (w/ Jon Moxley) vs. Matt Menard
Menard tried to turn this into a brawl early on, sending Garcia to the floor and throwing him into the guardrails. Moxley, on commentary, noted that fighting with emotion like Menard was usually doesn’t end well. Moxley said that Menard was not about living the life of a pro wrestler, and that no one trained harder than the Death Riders, and Menard was the past while Garcia is the future.
Garcia hit headbutts on Menard and busted him open, and Garcia went right after hit, rubbing his elbow on the forehead and biting Menard as they went to an ad break. When they came back from break, Garcia had Menard in a Boston crab, but Menard was able to fight out and lock on his own Boston crab. Garcia sent Menard’s head into the announce table right in front of Moxley, who continued to cheer Garcia on. Garcia sent Menard crashing into the steps and earned a talking to from the referee. The announcers complained about the rule breaking, but Moxley said quickly that wrestling wasn’t pretty, and if AEW was a wrestling promotion, especially during the C2 month, it was going to be violent
Moxley said that Menard was tough, and he wouldn’t take that away from him, but said that he did not have what it took to beat Garcia while also putting the commentators over for doing a good job, despite pushing against some of what Moxley said. Garcia locked on the bulldog choke on Menard, and Menard fought for as long as he could, but eventually collapsed, passing out and the referee stopped the match.
Result: Daniel Garcia wins via submission (referee stoppage)
–Moxley said that this was the difference between people who know what the wrestling business is, between professionals and amateurs, and that Garcia got it. As he was talking, Mark Briscoe came out, and Moxley put him over, saying Briscoe was a real as it gets when it comes to pro wrestling, but that he wasn’t going to do a thing to Garcia.
Briscoe said that he was thankful today (Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends) that he was TNT Champion. Briscoe said that he heard Garcia wanted to challenge for the TNT title, and Briscoe said that he needed to be sure that did not bite off more than he can chew. Briscoe said that like how he is going to devour a Thanksgiving meal, he is going to devour Garcia when they fight over the title.
There was not a lot of heat for Garcia and Menard, but I will say that the story told here was great, especially with Moxley on commentary, and the dynamic with Briscoe is an interesting one. It makes me wonder if we are going to see Briscoe and Moxley down the line, which would be a tremendous match.
–Ricochet was backstage with the Gates of Agony, and he talked about how The Demand has done everything they have ever said they were going to do. Ricochet said he was thankful that he had to do nothing since he was not in the C2 this month, but that he was going to go around the world defending the AEW National Title. Toa Liona said that he arranged a meal for them to celebrate at a 5* restaurant and they left.
–Stokely Hathaway and FTR came out, and Hathaway claimed that it was the best day of his life, as FTR finally won back their world tag team titles. He said that FTR has been fighting since they were 16, and they overcame every obstacle they ever faced to win the tag titles again.
As Dax Harwood was about to talk the lights went out and The Gunn Club came out. Juice Robinson said that he knew how good FTR was, but since they beat FTR two weeks ago, and it wasn’t the first time they have beat them (in a different combination of wrestlers), but that since they won $200k last week, they wanted to win some gold now.
The Gunn Club challenged them to a match, and Harwood said that he didn’t want Robinson to touch his belt again. Austin Gunn slapped the mic out of Harwood’s hands, giving Harwood a taste of his own medicine in interrupting people, and Robinson continued saying that maybe next time, it was there time. Gunn said that they were fighting for Colton Gunn and Jay White who were injured at home, and they were going to take the titles. Robinson and Austin Gunn were awesome here. This was one of the best promos they have had in several weeks, and now I want to see this match. It is not hard, folks. Good, short promo that establishes motivations that make sense. Excellent stuff here.
–MxM TV came out came dressed out as characters from the Wizard of Oz. They continued their open challenge, and The Outrunners and Dalton Castle answered the call. Dalton Castle greeted Michael Ray in the crowd, a country music star.
The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum) & Dalton Castle (w/ the Boys) vs. MxM TV (Mansoor, Mason Madden, & Johnny TV) (w/ Taya Valkyrie)
As the match started Johnny TV powerbombed Valkyrie into Dalton Castle on the floor, but this did not really cause much trouble, as Castle immediately got up and helped Truth Magnum powerbomb Mansoor. MxM missed their version of the SOB Elbow and Turbo Floyd tagged in Dalton Castle who threw Mansoor and Johnny TV around the ring. Castle hit a suplex on Madden, then they hit a collective SOB elbow on Mansoor, followed by a Bangarang by Castle for the win.
Result: Dalton Castle & The Outrunners via pinfall
–As they were celebrating, Ricochet came out. It appears they did not go out for food. Ricochet demanded the fans not boo him, so they booed him more. Bishop Kaun attacked Dalton Castle from behind as Ricochet claimed that this segment should be his championship celebration. Ricochet got in the face of Michael Ray, and Ray shoved Ricochet down and jumped the rail. Security got between them as Ricochet taunted him.
–The Don Callis family were backstage and Callis talked about how he was thankful for the family getting 3 points in the C2 last week. Rocky Romero said that he was grateful for new Don Callis family merch. Hechicero spoke in Spanish, and like the Don Callis Family, I only picked up on the word family, which they cheered. Mark Davis said he was thankful for nothing. Josh Alexander said he was thankful for Callis’ wisdom. Fletcher said he was thankful for his wealth in the family. Konosuke Takeshita said he was thankful to be a part of the family. Kazuchika Okada said he was thankful he wasn’t teaming with Takeshita. Takeshita and Okada got in each other’s face as Don quickly shooed the cameras away.
Katsuyori Shibata vs. Eddie Kingson
Kingston came right out and started brawling with Shibata on the ramps. Shibata hit some kicks on the floor to a seated Kingston before going into the ring and beginning to exchange strikes with him. Kingston hit a hard chop, but Shibata ducked another and hit a German suplex. Shibata grinded his foot against Kingston’s face, did a double wrist lock, and stomped on Kingston’s arm.
Shibata worked over the arm over the next bit, going for a kimura before transitioning into an armbar, but Kingston rolled to the ropes to break the hold. Kingston and Shibata exchanged chops in the middle of the ring. After a long exchange, Shibata went for a chop, stopped, and poked the eye. Shibata hit a kick, but Kingston responded with an enziguri and a neckbreaker. Kingston hit some hard chops but ate an STO from Shibata.
Shibata hit a German suplex after Kingston made the ropes in a choke. Kingston hit a suplex of his own when they got up. Shibata low blowed Kingston right in front of the referee, which was weird, and the referee refused to acknowledge the armbar that Shibata locked on due to the low blow. Kingston followed up by hitting a DDT for the win.
Result: Eddie Kingston via pinfall
Eddie Kingston is still not quite back to 100%, but this was easily his best match back. The finish was a bit abrupt, but it was not bad.
–Eddie Kingston took a mic and said that Hook has chosen his path, and he would have to pay for what he did from Hangman and Swerve. Kingston said that he was not a character, and while a fan said that he loved Eddie, Eddie said that for the longest time he believed that he did not deserve that love. However, it wasn’t about the fans loving him – Kingston said he loved the fans because they loved pro wrestling. Kingston said that Samoa Joe has tried to corrupt Hook, but before he can corrupt him more, Kingston was going to take the fight to Joe directly and challenged him to world title match at Winter is Coming in December. This promo was incredible, and the fans were going insane for him by the end of it. Kingston celebrated with a kid from the front row, putting him on his shoulders, and suddenly I wanted Eddie Kingston to win everything all over again. What an incredible babyface. This was such a fantastic promo.
–Red Velvet was backstage and she challenged Mercedes Mone to a rematch for the ROH Women’s Television title at ROH Final Battle.
Thekla vs. Tay Melo
Melo started the match throwing Thekla with judo throws and going for submissions. Thekla hit a drop toe hold that sent Melo into the ropes, and Thekla hit a running knee and then a suplex on the entrance ramp, which came right up to the ring tonight. They went to an ad-break just as Thekla was beating up Melo at ringside.
Melo hit a hard forearm on Thekla when they came back, but Thekla laughed and asked for more. Melo but her hair up and slapped Thekla, but Thekla hit a forearm on the rebound that dropped Melo, and Thekla locked on the Deathtrap. Melo nearly went out, but she rolled backwards into a pinfall attempt. Thekla kicked out and went for a spear after her spider walk. I suspect the spider walk took way too much time and gave Melo a chance to hit a flying knee and a Gotch style piledriver on Thekla for a 2-count. Melo went for the TayKO, but Thekla stomped on her feet, ducked a clothesline with her spider walk, and hit a spear and a curb stomp for the pin.
Result: Thekla via pinfall
–The Triangle of Madness came down to the ring to attack, but Jamie Hayter and Kris Statlander ran down to make the save.
Konosuke Takeshita (0) vs. Roderick Strong (0) in a C2 Blue League Match
Takeshita and Strong started off with quick chain wrestling, hard strikes, and Strong, as expected, hit a backbreaker that stopped Takeshita’s offence. Strong hit a dropkick through the ropes onto the floor as he continued to work over Takeshita’s back, trying to suplex him into the guardrail. Takeshita, however, back suplexed Strong onto it instead, and it looked like he hit his head directly onto the guardrail. That was brutal. I hope his neck is okay.
Takeshita hit hard forearms, and nearly sent Strong into the front row. Takeshita brought Strong back to the ring and continued the beatdown. Strong hit a few forearms, but Takeshita responded with his forearm of death that dropped Strong. Takeshita actually tried to lock on Okada’s Money Clip, by the looks of it, but Strong fought out and Strong hit a dropkick that dropped Takeshita.
Strong hit a lariat, but Takeshita tried to hit a blue thunder bomb, and Strong slipped out and hit an Olympic slam followed with a series of running forearms. Strong hit a tiger driver for a 2-count, but as Takeshita kicked out, Strong tried to lock on the Stronghold. However, Takeshita got his foot loose and dragged to the ropes.
Takeshita hit a Yakuza kick on Strong and called for the Raging Fire off the middle rope into the ring, but Strong countered and hit a backbreaker on the turnbuckle for a 2-count. Strong hit a gutbuster and a torture rack into backbreaker, but Takeshita managed to avoid a sick kick and hit a German suplex for a 2-count. Takeshita hit the power drive knee and hit the Raging Fire for the pinfall victory.
Result: Konosuke Takeshita (3) via pinfall
Final Thoughts
Any time AEW runs the C2 the shows usually turn out to be great from an in ring perspective. This show did not disappoint, but it was Eddie Kingston’s promo that stole the show. Kingston is such a tremendous babyface that gets me to believe in him and want to see him win. This was no different here.

Two new matches are now set for next week’s Full Gear.
After The Death Riders emerged victorious in the opening match of Saturday’s Collision, PAC cut a promo and referenced what he had done to Darby Allin at Blood & Guts, throwing him off a platform and onto a flaming table. PAC then issued the challenge for Full Gear one week from Saturday, and later it was made official.
A new match was also set for the Tailgate Brawl pre-show. A four-way match for $200,000 will take place between Max Caster & Anthony Bowens, the Bang Bang Gang, Bryan Keith & Big Bill, and The Outrunners. All four teams cut promos hyping the match, with the former Acclaimed saying they’d take the money and hopefully never team again.

Pre-Show match for $200,000: Max Caster & Anthony Bowens vs. The Bang Bang Gang vs. Bryan Keith & Big Bill vs. The Outrunners
The Death Riders member made his presence felt at the end of the coffin match between Darby Allin and Jon Moxley at Saturday’s All Out. Allin had choked Moxley out with a plastic bag and had the match won when PAC made his presence felt. Sporting a shorter haircut, the former International Champion attacked Allin, powerbombing him onto the top of a coffin off the outside of the ring, causing a sickening thud. PAC then threw Allin back into the ring and put him in a bodybag before placing him in the coffin. A battered and bloody Moxley then shut the lid to end the match.
PAC had been out of action for most of the summer, suffering a foot injury during a match against Swerve Strickland after being powerbombed into a corner. Last month, he was seen with WWE star Sami Zayn as they enjoyed a Premier League match between Newcastle United and Liverpool.
An AEW star and a WWE star attended a soccer game together on Monday.
During a Premier League match between Newcastle United FC and Liverpool FC that took place in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, WWE star Sami Zayn and AEW star PAC were seen together in the crowd during the television broadcast. Pictures of the two in the crowd were soon posted all over social media.
Sami Zayn seemed to respond to the feedback by posting a screenshot of the two together himself.
Zayn has continued to be a major focus in WWE, recently moving to the SmackDown brand in a feud with Solo Sikoa. He is set to challenge for SIkoa’s United States Championship this coming Friday on SmackDown, just 24 hours before WWE holds their Clash in Paris premium live event.
PAC left WWE in 2018 and joined AEW upon the company’s formation the following year. While he has seen success, winning the All-Atlantic and Trios titles, he’s also seen long stretches of time off due to injuries. He was part of the Death Riders stable until suffering an injury in a match against Swerve Strickland back in April.
During Collision on Saturday, Tony Schiavone confirmed that PAC suffered an injury during his match against Swerve Strickland on this Wednesday’s Dynamite. As a result, it was announced that moving forward, Jon Moxley would be taking PAC’s place as interim champion and would defend the titles with Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta.
It was then announced that the Death Riders would face the Opps (Samoa Joe, Hook, and Katsuyori Shibata) on Dynamite Spring Breakthrough this coming Wednesday.
The match between Swerve and PAC ended early after PAC started to favor his knee after taking a buckle bomb. The match ended early, with Swerve hitting the house call for the win shortly thereafter.
The Opps have been on the Death Riders’ radar since Dynasty, when they attacked the Death Riders at ringside during the Moxley/Swerve Strickland match. The following Wednesday, Samoa Joe and Hook scored the win over Castagnoli and Yuta. However after the match, the Death Riders got the last laugh after a Marina Shafir distraction allowed Castagnoli to hit Hook with the neutralizer onto a chair. Joe got the last word, however, by saying they were coming for the Trios titles.
Wrestling Observer Live with Bryan Alvarez and Mike Sempervive is back with tons to talk about including a full recap of Dynamite from Wednesday, all the upcoming shows, Pac’s injury and what the latest is, and tons more. A fun show as always so check it out~!
After suffering a legitimate injury last night on AEW Dynamite, PAC is scheduled for an MRI.
Bryan Alvarez reports that PAC is getting an MRI today to assess the injury he suffered against Swerve Strickland on Wednesday’s Dynamite episode. Their match only lasted a few minutes and was cut short after PAC started favoring his right foot. He received medical attention on the floor following a spot where he seemingly got hurt when being powerbombed into the corner, but PAC was able to get back into the ring and take a superkick and Swerve Stomp from Strickland for the finish.
PAC, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta of the Death Riders currently hold the AEW Trios titles. Their next title defense is set to be against The Opps (Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata & Hook), though it remains to be seen whether PAC’s injury will impact those plans. The Opps issued the challenge for a title match last night on Dynamite. A date for the bout has not been announced yet.
Last night’s PAC vs. Strickland match was the first time the two have ever faced each other. Strickland got back on the winning track after his loss to Jon Moxley in the main event of Dynasty, where the returning Young Bucks helped Moxley retain the AEW World Championship.
The first time ever match between former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland and reigning AEW Trios Champion PAC as part of Wednesday’s Dynamite appeared to end early due to an apparent right foot injury by PAC.
Strickland hit a buckle bomb on PAC in the corner (seen below) which was followed by PAC nearly immediately favoring his right ankle/foot/Achilles area. Strickland flipped him out of the corner and hit a second rope elbow which was followed by him grabbing his right heel as the referee checked on him.
Strickland then choked him with his boot before PAC rolled to the outside of the ring where he was checked by AEW’s Doc Sampson. Strickland remained in the ring with the camera focused tightly on him.
PAC was helped up by Samson, said something to the referee, and slowly got back into the ring. He struggled to stand up while not putting any weight on the injured foot and was immediately hit by a superkick. Strickland then hit his Swerve Stomp off the top rope for the win.
PAC did not come out at the end of the show when his Death Riders teammates Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli lost to Samoa Joe and Hook followed by a post-match angle.
PAC was out of action from late-July 2023 through March 2024 with an undisclosed injury. Before that, he was out from March to July of 2023 due to getting a nose injury fixed, wrestling just three matches.
The follow-up to Dynasty will feature Kris Statlander taking on Thunder Rosa in a quarterfinal match of the women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament. Toni Storm, who retained the AEW Women’s Championship on Sunday, will be on commentary. Storm previously mentioned she would be at Dynamite to observe the participants in the tournament that will decide her All In opponent.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 4/9 Baltimore, MD 8pm ET/7pm CT, TBS + Max Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite
Swerve Strickland will be in action, taking on PAC. Strickland was unsuccessful in winning back the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley, who had help from not only the Death Riders, but the returning Young Bucks. PAC, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta were successful in retaining the Trios titles against Rated FTR.
Yuta & Castagnoli will also be in action Wednesday, taking on Samoa Joe and Hook of The Ops. The former, along with Katsuyori Shibata, attempted to even the odds during the Strickland/Moxley match by brawling with the rest of the Death Riders to the back.
