Mike Santana shares message to fans: ‘I’ve been struggling’

Mike Santana has a message for supportive fans amid ongoing mental health struggles.

The TNA World Champion, who has been open about his past struggles with sobriety and mental health, recently shared a note to fans on X. Santana acknowledged that his limited social media activity recently has been due to personal mental health challenges.

Santana also expressed appreciation for the support and encouragement he has received after sharing his experiences over the past few years.

“I’ve been struggling.

I haven’t been consistent on my socials lately, due to trying to maneuver through whatever I’ve been dealing with mentally.

Since coming back to wrestling 2 and a half years ago, I’ve been very open and honest about things I’ve gone thru and it’s allowed people to connect with me in a way that has been truly humbling.

I’m a firm believer in, everything happens for a reason…A couple days ago, while I was sitting with myself and trying to gather my thoughts. I was sent this video.

It helped put alot of things in perspective for me. It reminded me of why I do what I do and why this journey has been so important to me.

THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS HAVING MY BACK.” posted Santana.

Santana’s full post is available below:

A few weeks ago, Santana celebrated three years of sobriety. His daughter, Ariana has been a major driving force in his decision to strive for a healthier lifestyle.

Santana is in his second TNA World Champion reign. His return to the promotion in 2024 deemed fruitful more so with his push to the World Title picture and involvement with WWE NXT crossover events.

Bayley: TNA Knockouts division ‘has always been a dream’ for me

The partnership between WWE and TNA Wrestling could lead to Bayley accomplishing a childhood dream.

During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Bayley said her dream growing up was to do everything possible in WWE — from character work, to matches, to silly segments like obstacle courses. She also aspired to wrestle in TNA one day given how much she loved the Knockouts division during its golden era.

“That makes me happy,” Bayley said about WWE expanding its horizon with different partnerships. “I would love to dip my toes in TNA and AAA and all these things. If we have the doors to do that, I would love to.

“TNA was one of my dreams as a kid. I loved the Knockouts division. They were like the hottest division for so long. Gail Kim’s one of my favorites. I’ve done a tryout for TNA like years ago, 2010 or something. The Knockouts division has always been a dream.”

The WWE-TNA partnership has largely been focused on NXT so far, so that could be a barrier toward Bayley crossing over into the promotion.

Bayley told Busted Open that, while she doesn’t know everything about wrestling, she’s loving the mentor position that she’s growin into in WWE. She’s passing along lessons she’s learned from people like Naomi, Natalya, and John Cena during her career.

On Raw tonight, Bayley is participating in a number one contender’s gauntlet match against IYO SKY, Raquel Rodriguez, Asuka, Ivy Nile, and Lyra Valkyria. The winner earns a title shot against Women’s Intercontinental Champion AJ Lee.

TNA announces re-signing of Steve Maclin

After a storyline where he was briefly “fired” from the promotion, TNA Wrestling has confirmed that Steve Maclin has re-signed with the company.

TNA posted an announcement on Monday saying Maclin has re-signed. No further information about the contract was provided, including whether it’s a long-term deal or not. It was first reported in January that Maclin had extended his contract with TNA.

A former TNA World Champion, Maclin is set to challenge Mike Santana for the title at Sacrifice on March 27. The build to the match included an angle where Maclin was fired from TNA after getting the “fired” briefcase in Feast or Fired. Maclin did not go quietly, though, returning to attack Santana and assault commentator Tom Hannifan. Santana then called for Maclin to be reinstated so he could get his hands on him.

Maclin, a veteran of the United States Marines, previously wrestled for WWE as Steve Cutler. He’s been with TNA since 2021.

Outside of the ring, Maclin co-hosts the podcast Boots to Boots with his wife Deonna Purrazzo. The TNA/AEW couple are putting together an indie event Battle for the Brave this June to benefit the non-profit organization Tunnel to Towers.

Sacrifice 2026 is being held at the Alario Center in Louisiana and will stream on TNA+.

World Championship match announced for TNA Sacrifice

The TNA World Championship match for Sacrifice has been announced.

Despite receiving a pink slip in the Feast or Fired match earlier this year, Steve Maclin will challenge for the promotion’s World Championship at the March 27 event in New Orleans.

On Thursday’s live episode of TNA Impact from Atlanta, The SUIT Daria Rae reinstated Maclin. TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella then came to the stage and made the title match for Sacrifice official.

Santana won the title on the promotion’s AMC debut show on January 15. He has defended it successfully once so far, against former champion Frankie Kazarian at Genesis.

Maclin was involved in a segment on last week’s show that saw him attack Tom Hannifan during an in-ring interview before Santana ran in to make the save. Hannifan said the company was “enabling” Maclin on commentary after he was reinstated.

TNA Sacrifice 2026 will take place at the Alario Center in Westwego, Louisiana. No other matches have been announced for the show thus far.

TNA Impact live results: Leon Slater defends X-Division title vs. Nic Nemeth

TNA Impact is live tonight from the Gateway Center Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater will defend against Nic Nemeth.

The Knockouts World Championship will be on the line tonight as the new champion, Arianna Grace, looks to defend the title for the first time against number one contender Jody Threat.

Also advertised for the show is a four-way tag team match with the winner earning a shot at the TNA Tag Team titles with The System’s Brian Myers & Bear Bronson vs. Vincent & Dutch of The Righteous vs. BDE & Rich Swann vs. Sinner & Saint.

Frankie Kazarian will host The King’s Speech with special guest Elijah. We’ll hear from TNA World Champion Mike Santana on the show. Moose is also advertised. The Elegance Brand will address the heated confrontation between Ash by Elegance and Mickie James on last week’s episode. Elayna Black will face Mara Sade.

Our live coverage kicks off at 9 p.m.

Live! From Atlanta, Georgia.

Tom Hannifan & Matthew Rehwoldt were on commentary.

The cast of Mama June was in attendance, as well as Lilian Garcia. Truly, the celebrities are coming out for TNA Wrestling.

Arianna Grace (w/ Stacks) v. Jody Threat for the Knockouts Division Championship

Before the match could get underway, Tessa Blanchard and her crew made an entrance to observe the match. Blanchard joined the commentary team to add her expertise to the match. Blanchard admitted to jumping Jody Threat backstage last week.

Grace jumped Threat from behind during the ring introductions. Threat shrugged off the attack and hit a series of avalanche clotheslines in the corner while the camera showed the disinterested crowd. Dani Luna and Indi Hartwell soon emerged from the crowd to watch from ringside, and Lei Ying Lee and Xia Brookside watched from the entrance ramp.

If I can be serious for a minute, back in the ring Grace tried to apply a half crab and punched at Threat’s ribs (injured in last week’s backstage attack). Threat came back with a series of clotheslines and a pump kick. Threat hit a release German suplex. Threat hit a Michinoku Driver for two. Grace dropped to the floor and Hannifan noticed Hartwell for the first time (after she’d been a ringside for nearly the entire match). Threat hit a plancha on Starks on the floor.

Back in the ring, Grace and Threat fought over the Cobra, but the tug-of-war over the sock put too much strain on Threat’s injured ribs. Grace kicked Threat in the ribs and cradled her for the pinfall.

Match Result: Arianna Grace retained by pinfall (5:32).

Ugh. Just, ugh.

— Hannifan and Rehwoldt addressed the controversy from last week with Steve Maclin. Hannifan was disgusted and Rehwoldt said Maclin “crossed lines you don’t cross in this business” and he hoped Mike Santana kicks Maclin’s a$$.

— Gia Miller interviewed The Nemeths, and the mic didn’t work for the first half of the interview. Leon Slater might have gotten one over on Nic Nemeth on the pay-per-view, but Nemeth got the win back last week and will get the TNA title tonight. Also, Gia makes Ryan Nemeth sick.

The Elegance Brand Take the Ring

Ash is not with the rest of the Elegance Brand. She took a mental health day because she’s not a mark, despite what the fans think. The Elegance Brand ran down Mickie James. They then spot the cast of Mama June in the front row. Heather and M cut a promo on Mama June and told her to go stand in line at a food truck.

This brought out ODB from the crowd, dragging a cooler behind her. After some poor mic work, ODB single-handedly disposed off the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions, and dropped Mr. Elegance with a low kick. ODB handed out cocktails for the cast of Mama June to dump all over Heather and M, who “comically” oversold and slipped around on the floor.

— X Division Champion Leon Slater and TNA World Tag Team Champions Matt and Jeff Hardy exchanged pleasantries in the back.

Brian Myers & Bear Bronson v. Vincent & Dutch of The Righteous v. BDE & Rich Swann v. Sinner & Saint  (Judas Icarus & Travis Williams)

The winners of this match will receive a future TNA Tag Team Championship opportunity.

BDE and Swann flew around with Sinner and Saint early, until Bear Bronson put a stop of that with a clothesline. Sinner and Saint hit Myers and Bronson with a pair of dives on the floor, and the BDE and Swann followed them out with a dive onto the four of them. Vincent teased a dive of his own as a distraction for Dutch to hit all six guys on the floor with a cannonball.

Vincent got a near fall on DBE with a flatliner. Bronson hit Vincent with a choke bomb for two. Bronson pounded on Vincent and mocked his snapping.

The System cut of Vincent from his partner and worked him over in the corner. Vincent countered a suplex attempt with a hangman’s neckbreaker, then got the tag to Swann.

BDE and Swann paired off with Sinner and Saint again. Swann rana’d Williams onto Icarus for a near fall. Icarus and Williams hit Swann with a series of strikes, and got a near fall off of a brainbuster. BDE got the tag and dropped Williams with a falcon arrow for two. Williams blocked a springboard cutter from BDE and both guys knocked each other out with a double clothesline.

Vincent got the tag and hit BDE with a Sliced Bread, but his pin attempt was broken up by literally everybody.

BDE and Swann hit Sinner and Saint with double springboard cutters. Myers hit Vincent with a clothesline and then BDE with a spear. Bronson then finished off BDE with a sit-out tombstone for the pinfall.

Match Result: Bear Bronson & Brian Myers won a future tag title show when Bronson pinned BDE (8:33).

This was mostly Sinner & Saint v. BDE & Swann. I seriously think TNA’s creative team overestimates the value of System.

— A Rosemary vignette with awful audio aired. She was making a list.

Moose Addressed The Crowd

Moose started out talking about the System, who aren’t really a family but just four guys who are jealous when someone else outshines them. Moose got sidetracked addressing Atlanta Falcons legends who were in the crowd. Back to TNA business, Moose promised to take out the System one-by-one, starting with Cedric Alexander in an Atlanta Street Fight next week. Moose used the tired line about Brian Myers being “Edge’s b!tch,” and Bear Bronson can’t even lace up Moose’s boots. Alisha Edwards took the mic from Moose before he could get to Edwards, but promised to support Moose while he destroys every member of the System. So Moose promised to beat up Eddie Edwards in front of his own wife and kick every member of the System out of The System.

THE TNA INJURY REPORT:

  • Mustafa Ali is out and has not been seen since the casket match.
  • Mickie James is out and remains under medical supervision (isn’t she retired?).
  • Leon Slater is cleared, which is good since he’s in the main event.

— In the Bioflex Recovery Room, Rich Swann offered words of support to BDE. Trey Miguel also offered words of wisdom. Soon Order 4 (minus Mustafa Ali) arrived. Jason Hotch said BDE and Swann wasted their opportunity, and believed the Great Hands should have been in that match. Eventually Jada Stone (getting checked out by the Bioflex Recovery Room staff) and Tasha Steelz got into a shoving match.

Elayna Black v. Mara Sade

Sade hit a nice looking dropkick early on. Black took control when she tripped up Sade, who did a header into the apron. Black’s offense was uninspired. She tried to control Sade with a surfboard, but Sade fought out of it. Sade came back with a pair of clotheslines and a slingblade. Sade hit a springboard crossbody off the middle ropes for a near fall. Sade hit another dropkick to send Black to the floor, then followed her out with a plancha.

Sade came off the top with a dropkick for a near fall. Black came back with an enziguri, then hit a Canadian Destroyer for two. Sade dropped to the floor to grab a chair. The ref took the chair, but Black procured brass knuckles that were hidden in the turnbuckles. Sade went to suplex Black, but Black hit her with the knux to get the pinfall.

Match Result: Black pinned Sade. (approx 7 minutes)

— AJ Francis bragged about running off another opponent from TNA. And he doesn’t want to be in the loser town of Atlanta anyway. The Home Town Man won’t allow anyone to disparage his hometown, and the brawl was on.

The King’s Speech with Elijah

The biggest pop of the night might have been for AJ Styles. Kazarian mentioned AJ since the last time he was in Atlanta, he was at Raw honoring his retirement. Kazarian then brought out Elijah.

There were more audio problems here, first with Kazarian’s house mic that couldn’t be heard until it was adjusted, and Elijah was wearing a wireless/handheld mic that also couldn’t be heard at first.

But anyway, I think the idea here was that Kazarian would ask a question, and then the lights would drop and Elijah would ignore Kazarian and address the crowd, kind of like an internal monologue (like JD on “Scrubs”). Kazarian put over the Guitar Case Casket match as an “instant classic” and Elijah addressed the crowd, saying he “knew what Frankie was up to” like Kazarian wasn’t even there. Kazarian asked Elijah if he thought this would put him on the path to a title, and Elijah again ignored Kazarian and talked about how his feud with Ali was finished.

Eventually, Kazarian got in Elijah’s face, but they were distracted by AJ Francis and the Home Town Man, who brawled out onto the entrance stage (picking up from the previous segment). Francis chokeslammed the Home Town Man into the crowd (hopefully some plants), and Elijah went to check on the Home Town Man.

— In the back, (in what looked like another screwed up camera shot, but I think this was intentional), Eric Young said he hoped Leon Slater won tonight.

— Another segment with Rosemary, but this time with working audio. It started with Tommy Dreamer and Carlos Silva, but Rosemary made Dreamer disappear. Silva signed Rosemary to a new contract. Also there was someone in a pig or rabbit mask and a bloody jacket. “Project Lazarus has been approved,” Rosmary said, whatever that means.

Leon Slater v. Nic Nemeth (w/ Ryan Nemeth) for the X Division Championship

Nemeth took it to the mat early and got a near fall, then dropped Slater with a hangman’s neckbreaker. Slater fought back with chops. Slater hit Nemeth with a handspring elbow, and Nemeth dropped to the floor to regroup. Slater followed him out with a slingshot plancha.

As Slater was trying to get back in the ring, Ryan Nemeth tripped up Slater, and Nic took advantage to hit the Famouser for a near fall.

Slater started to fight back, and Nemeth dropped him with a kick to the knee. Nic choked Slater against the ropes, and then distracted the referee so his brother could get a shot on Slater. Slater whipped Nemeth into the turnbuckles chest-first, and both men were down.

Nemeth charged into a boot from Slater, and Slater hit him with a kick. Slater flopped into Nemeth’s body with a kick for a near fall. Slater tried to go to the top, but Nemeth tripped him up and hit a DDT for a near fall.

Slater avoided the Danger Zone and delivered a blue thunder bomb for a near fall. Slater went to the top rope again and went for the 450, but Nemeth avoided it. Nemeth tried for the Famouser again, but Slater countered that into a Styles Clash. Slater went for the 450, but Nemeth got his knees up and rolled up Slater for two.

Nemeth locked Slater in a sleeper with a body scissors. The crowd chanted “This is awesome!” Crowds are too easy these days. Slater got to his feet and drove Nemeth into the mat to break the hold.

Ryan Nemeth jumped up on the apron at ate a kick from Slater, allowing Nic to hit a superkick for a near fall. Nemeth tried to superplex Slater, but Slater countered into a twisting superplex of his own. Slater hit Nemeth with a Swanton 450 for a decisive victory.

Match Result: Slater pinned Nic Nemeth to retain after a Swanton 450 (11:57).

This was good but not great.

After the match, Eric Young ran out and attacked Slater. Young gave Slater a piledriver on the floor, then posed with the X Division title belt.

TNA World Champion Mike Santana Keeps it a Buck

Santana came out to the ring for a show-closing promo. Santana said that Steve Maclin had the opportunity to take accountability (I’m still not sure what Maclin needs to take accountability for. Picking a bad briefcase?). Santana demanded that Santino come out and reinstate Steve Maclin. Instead of Marella, we get Daria Rae, and she officially reinstates Steve Maclin. Well, that stipulation was pointless. But Daria Rae will decide when Santana faces Maclin.

This brings out Santino Marella, who said the date is set, and it’s at Sacrifice on March 27th in New Orleans. And it will be for the TNA World title.

Then Santana said it didn’t matter what Santino or Daria had to say, Maclin has a date with death when he steps in the building next week. That sounded aggressive.

The commentators looked disappointed for some reason, even though it seemed like they both wanted Maclin to catch a beating from Santana earlier in the night. After a video of the “highlights” of the night, Hannfian was disgusted that TNA gave Maclin his job back and a TNA title shot.

Next week on TNA Impact:

  • Trey Miguel, BDE & Rich Swann v. Order 4
  • AJ Francis v. Elijah
  • Moose v. Cedric Alexander in a Street Fight.

Nobody can waste two hours of live TV like TNA.

Steph De Lander on TNA exit: ‘They made a personal decision’

Steph De Lander spoke about her departure from TNA Wrestling in a new interview.

De Lander told TMZ on Thursday that TNA president Carlos Silva informed her on Monday that the company was not going to allow her to wrestle again in the promotion following her spinal fusion surgery in October 2024. She added that her surgeon has fully cleared her to return.

“I actually went to WWE’s spinal surgeon to do the surgeries and I got clearance a few weeks ago,” she said.

“I received a phone call on Monday of this week that basically they never wanted to let me wrestle at TNA again. They just didn’t feel comfortable with that. So then I made the decision to leave, and my husband did too in solidarity.”

De Lander said TNA made the call that they were not comfortable with her wrestling again without evaluating her medical history or speaking with her surgeon.

“I was like, ‘Well, I’m literally fully cleared.’ And he said, ‘Yep, not into it.’ And then I asked, ‘Do you know what my injury is?’ And he didn’t know. He couldn’t tell me what my injury was.”

“It’s definitely based off personal feelings. I have not been evaluated by any medical professional on the TNA end.”

“They haven’t evaluated my medical history. They haven’t contacted my surgeon. They haven’t looked at any of my medical stuff. It’s just they made a personal decision.”

De Lander also mentioned during the interview that she had a second surgery that was not previously known, saying that her surgeon “wanted to put a little more hardware” in her neck. She said she paid for both of her surgeries and physical therapy.

“I’ve paid for both of my surgeries. I paid for PT for both of them.”

“My insurance maxed out, so I currently have a $9,000 Advent Health bill sitting there.”

De Lander also mentioned that she had a one-level fusion, something many wrestlers have had before making full recoveries and returning to the ring.

“I had a one level cervical spinal fusion of my C5-C6 vertebrae which is like the most basic straightforward neck injury that so many wrestlers in WWE and AEW have had before fully recovered and returned to the ring.”

“I did not break my neck. That’s not what happened,” she added.

De Lander’s full conversation with TMZ is available below:

Report: Two wrestlers have quit TNA Wrestling

Two wrestlers from TNA reportedly have quit the promotion.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful wrote on Thursday that Mance Warner and Steph De Lander have left the promotion. The outlet later reported on its Patreon that they were told the departures stem from TNA refusing to clear De Lander to return from injury, with De Lander having been told she would never be able to wrestle for the promotion again.

The 29-year-old De Lander has been out of action since August 2024 and underwent neck fusion surgery on her C5 and C6 vertebrae that October. In January, she revealed that she was 100% healed from the procedure and ready to return to the ring.

“My neck is 100% healed and I have been cleared by my surgeon to return to the ring. I need guidance from a medical professional to ensure safety so I can get back to doing what I love. I have asked so many times. Can anyone help me @ThisIsTNA @WWE @AEW ???”

Fightful noted that one source in TNA Wrestling believed Warner and De Lander could finish up with the promotion after the current loop of tapings. TNA is scheduled to hold television tapings at the Gateway Center Arena in Atlanta on March 6 and 7, followed by additional tapings in New Orleans on March 27 and 28.

Knockouts title match added to next week’s live TNA Impact

TNA Wrestling has added two matches to the lineup for next week’s live episode of TNA Impact.

Knockouts World Champion Arianna Grace will defend her title against Jody Threat. Threat earned the title shot by winning the Knockouts Battle Royal at No Surrender.

Also added is a four-way tag team match with The Righteous vs. Sinner and Saint vs. Rich Swann & BDE vs. The System.

The show takes place Thursday, March 5 at the Gateway Center Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. TNA will return to the venue the following night for a set of television tapings.

Three matches are now advertised to air on next week’s show. Another two matches have been announced for the Atlanta TV tapings, but may not necessarily air on the live show.

TNA Impact announced lineup for Thursday, March 5, 2026

  • X-Division Champion Leon Slater defends against Nic Nemeth
  • The Righteous vs. Sinner and Saint vs. Rich Swann & BDE vs. The System in a four-way tag team match
  • Knockouts World Champion Arianna Grace defends against Jody Threat

Announced for Atlanta TV tapings on March 5:

TNA Impact live results: Santana & Leon Slater vs. The Nemeths

TNA Wrestling presents Impact on AXS TV tonight.

This week’s show was taped at The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday, February 14.

Five matches and one segment are advertised.

TNA World Champion Mike Santana and X-Division Champion Leon Slater will team up to take on Ryan Nemeth and Nic Nemeth.

In an eight-man tag, The Hardys and The Righteous will face The System’s Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, Bear Bronson, and Cedric Alexander.

We will have a face-to-face segment with Ash By Elegance and Mickie James.

We will hear from Steve Maclin on the show.

In the Knockouts division, Dani Luna will wrestle Lei Ying Lee. This had originally been planned as a Lee title defense against Luna on the AXS TV debut. However, visa issues prevented Luna from making it to the show.

In singles action, AJ Francis faces Mance Warner, who will have Steph De Lander in his corner.

Tasha Steelz of Order 4 will wrestle Jada Stone.

Our live coverage begins at 9 p.m. Eastern.

Taped! from the Pinnacle in Nashville, TN..

Tom Hannifan & Matthew Rehwoldt were on commentary.

For a guy who got fired a month ago Steve Maclin has been hanging around this show a lot.

Mike Santana & Leon Slater v. Nic & Ryan Nemeth

Frankie Kazarian joined the commentary team for the opener. Slater took out both the Nemeth brothers early on with a dive on the floor. In the ring, Santana hit Nic with a back elbow in the corner. Ryan tried to cheap shot Santana with a knee, which allowed Nick to hit Santana with a superkick.

Nic distracted the referee so Ryan could choke out Santana with a tag rope. Nic dropped a big elbow for a near fall. Santana tried to brawl his way out of the heel corner, but Nic put him down with a kick to the knee. Ryan slapped on a chinlock as the show headed into a commercial.

Santana escaped the chinlock and dropped Ryan with a rolling stunner. Tags were made on both sides, and Slater dropped Nemeth with a kick. Slater came off the top with a crossover crossbody for a near fall. Nic backdropped Slater to the floor. The Nemeths countered the rolling stunner with a back suplex/neckbreaker cover for a near fall.

Santana took out Ryan with an enziguri and hit Nic with a boot. Slater got the tag and Nemeth hit him with the Famouser for a near fall. They showed Ryan’s girlfriend in the crowd (and unfortunately the crowd looked bored). Nic and Staler fought up to the top, where Slater pushed Nic off. As Slater was setting up a dive, Eric Young ran in to distract Slater. Santana ran interference to hold off Young. Slater went for the 450 on Nic, but Nic got his knees up, and rolled up Slater for the pin.

Match Result: The Nemeths won when Nic pinned Slater (11:05 aired).

This finish annoyed me at first, but it set up Nic v. Slater for the X Division title on next week’s show. So hopefully Slater is getting a victory in a singles match.

— Gia Miller interviewed Vincent and Dutch who talked about brotherhood and trust with the Hardys.

Dani Luna v. Lei Ying Lee (w/ Xia Brookside)

Lee took Luna down with a leg sweep and followed that up with knee to the face and a dropkick. Luna pulled Lee out of the corner going for a powerbomb, then turned that into a sort-of hot shot move between the middle and top ropes.

Luna hit an exploder suplex, then wrenched away at Lee’s neck. Luna viciously dumped Lee to the mat for a near fall. Lee countered a suplex with a small package for a near fall. Lee locked Luna in a guillotine choke, but Luna countered that with a suplex for a near fall.

Luna dropped to the floor and pulled out a steel chain from under the ring. Luna wrapped the chain around the top turnbuckle. Luna tried to send Lee into the turnbuckles, but she blocked that and came back with a series of kicks and strikes. Lee hit Luna with a superkick, then reigned down with punches in the corner.

Lee hit an exploder suplex for a near fall. Lee missed a charge in the corner, and Luna hit a slingshot blue thunder bomb for two. Lee came back and went for a kick, but Luna ducked and locked in a sleeper. Lee escaped and went for a roll up, but Luna kicked out and sent her face first into the chains that she set up five minutes ago. Why isn’t that a disqualification? Why didn’t the ref get rid of those chains? Then Luna hit the Luna Landing and got the pinfall.

Match Result: Luna pinned Lee (10:13)

— Alisha Edwards was ready to reject a new contract from Tommy Dreamer and Carlos Silva until Moose showed up. Moose told Alisha she wasn’t just the first lady of the System, but she was the first lady of TNA. Moose asked Alisha to be her manager and she (all too easily) changed her mind, and signed the contract.

AJ Francis v. Mance Warner (w/ Steph DeLander)

Francis’ gear was inspired by the African-American Flag for Black History Month. DeLander wore a Predators jersey to suck up to the Nashville crowd.

This brawl started outside the ring. Warner tried to piledrive Francis on the stairs, but Francis blocked it, then slammed Warner from the stairs to the floor. Back in the ring, Francis choked Warner against the ropes. Francis hit a running knee and went over the ropes, landed on his feet and flirted with DeLander on the floor. She was not receptive.

Back in the ring, Warner mounted a comeback and poked Francis in the eyes. A short bulldog got Warner a near fall. Warner charged into a spear from Francis, but kicked out at two. Francis went to the floor and grabbed a chair. DeLander grabbed the chair, and got into a tug of war with Francis over the chair. Eventually the chair went flying into Warner’s hands, who had no problem using it as a weapon.

Match Result: Francis won via disqualification (4:25).

This feud will continue.

The TNA Injury Report:

  • Mustafa Ali is not cleared after the casket match.
  • Jody Threat is also not cleared after a 3-on-1 beatdown last week.
  • Leon Slater is being evaluated.

Hardcore Country Elegance

Mickie James called out Ash by Elegance. The Concierge came out to introduce Ash, but James sent him to the back because she wasn’t “here for the nonsense.” Not sure she’s in the right place then. Anyway, Ash came out. Mickie James had called Tommy Dreamer on Ash’s behalf to get her job in TNA after she was cut by WWE. But Ash knows she was the hottest free agent when she was released, and didn’t need James to grease the wheels to get her a job. James asked if Ash was “a mark” for starting “twitter beef” with other former Knockouts World Championship. James told Ash she was disgracing the Knockouts World Title that she abandoned (which James also had to relinquish due to injuries). Ash was just shouting for heat. I guess its working for the crowd but it’s not working for me. She’s shouting insults but saying nothing.

This devolved into a shoving match, but before it could really get physical, the other members of the Elegance Brand were shown intimidating Mickie’s son in the back. James ran to the back, but M by Elegance leveled her from behind the curtain with a forearm. The rest of the Elegance Brand joined in on the beating, which ended with Ash diving Mickie a Mick-DT.

I’m now less interested in the impending Ash/James match than I was last week. I really like Mickie and was into Ash’s comeback story.

— In the back, Jody Threat was allegedly laid out by Tessa Blanchard and her crew. Naturally, this leads to an argument between Daria Rae and Santino Marella about how Santino has no control over the show.

Jada Stone v. Tasha Steelz (w/ The Great Hands)

Steelz nailed Stone with a clothesline before the bell. Stone came back with a shotgun dropkick, and Steelz dropped to the floor to regroup. Stone wiped out Steelz and the Great Hands with a moonsault off the apron. Steelz suplexed Stone on the floor.

Back in the ring, Stone hit a superkick and a slingblade for a near fall. Stone hit a handspring into the ropes, but Steelz snatched her out of the hair with German suplex. Steelz went for a cutter, but Stone blocked it with a handstand, then rolled up Steelz for the shock pin.

Match Result: Stone pinned Steelz (5:47)

After the match, the Great Hands tossed Stone back into the ring, and Steelz hit her with a cutter.

Steve Maclin’s Side of the Story

Tom Hannifan brought out Steve Maclin, flanked by security to address the TNA crowd and explain his actions. And the crowd just completely hijacked this segment.

The crowd chanted “you don’t work here!” at Maclin.  Hannifan asked Maclin to explain why he was attacking Santana. The crowd chanted “we dont care!” while Maclin tried to explain himself. The crowd was pretty brutal, chanting “leave!” and “you’re a liar!” They even booed him for being a marine before switching to a “USA!” chant. Then the crowd hit him with the “what?” chants and Maclin was visibly frustrated.

But it boiled down to this: Maclin was mad at Santana for leaving him hanging in the tag match at Turning Point. Santana tried to justify it by telling Maclin he was “going through some things and had to catch a meeting.” Clearly tired of all this, the crowd chanted “wrap it up!” Maclin took credit for Hannifan having a job in TNA, which caused the crowd to chant “he’s still working!” Hannifan actually got the crowd to calm down a bit. Hannifan asked Maclin how many times he’s been fined by TNA for “the same things” over and over, and asked if he would ever take responsibility for his own actions.

So Maclin leveled Hannifan with a punch to the gut.

Santana ran through the crowd to make the save, but Maclin dropped out of the ring, and shoved Rehwoldt down to the ground on his way out.

Next week on Impact:

  • Sinner/Saint v. The Righteous v. Rich Swann/BDE v. The System
  • Arianna Grace v. Jody Threat for the Knockouts Title
  • Nic Nemeth v. Leon Slater for the X Division Title

— Gia Miller replaced Hannifan on commentary for the main event.

The System (Bear Bronson, Cedric Alexander, Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards) v. The Hardys & The Righteous

The Hardys and the Righteous worked well together early in the match. The Hardys double teamed Myers with a slingshot/legdrop combo. Alexander got the tag and Matt dropped a leg on him for a near fall.

Bear Bronson tagged in to square off against Dutch in a hoss fight. Dutch dumped Bronson to the mat with an exploder, and Vincent tagged in to hit Poetry in Motion. Bronson hit Vincent with a choke bomb for a near fall.

Vincent has made a very good babyface in peril in these tag matches. Myers floored Vincent with a running knee. Bronson dropped an elbow off the middle rope for a near fall. Alexander dumped Vincent with a German suplex. Vincent fought his way out of the heel corner and took out Alexander with a leg sweep before getting the tag to Matt Hardy.

Matt hit Edwards with a hangman’s neckbreaker and DDT Alexander at the same time. Matt hit a Side Effect on Edwards for a near fall. It was “hit a move, take a move” time, with everyone hitting a hot move, then taking one from a different opponent. Matt went for the Twist of Fate on Edwards, but Edwards pushed off and Vincent got the tag. Edwards set up Matt for the Boston Knee Party, but Vincent shoved Matt out of the way and took the bullet.

Match Result: The System won when Edwards pinned Vincent after the Boston Knee Party (11:24 aired).

After the match, Moose tried to take on the System 4-on-1. He was overwhelmed until Alisha Edwards got between Moose and the System.

Masha Slamovich pulled from Squared Circle Expo VI lineup

Update:

Squared Circle Expo put out an update on Wednesday announcing that Masha Slamovich is no longer booked for the event, writing:

“First of all, I want to be transparent and say that I was who personally approved the appearance of Masha Slamovich to appear at Squared Circle Expo VI. I communicated with the vendor, and even discussed my concerns with them. After a ton of deliberation, it was decided that we would give Masha a chance to appear. It was not taken lightly or without hefty consideration.

I know we say all the time that we’re just a couple of dudes that love professional wrestling and want to share it with as many people as possible! That said, this situation has taught us that we’re also just a couple of dudes who are capable of getting it wrong…and boy did we ever.

After speaking to friends in the industry who know a bit more about the details of Masha’s situation, as well as carefully considering the feedback from fans and others in our business whose opinion we value, we have decided to pull Masha Slamovich’s appearance from the SCX VI. The vendor who was bringing her in for the appearance is also in agreement and fully supports the move as well.

While we still absolutely believe that many people will often deserve a second chance and the opportunity for redemption, the timing for this was ill thought out and regretable. We truly hope and wish for Masha to continue to better herself and hope that learning from past mistakes will allow for growth and a better future.”

Masha Slamovich has been announced for Squared Circle Expo VI next month.

On Tuesday, Squared Circle Expo announced that Slamovich has been added to the superstar roster for its upcoming event on March 27 and 28 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

“It is with great pleasure that we announce the addition of Wrestling Star, MASHA SLAMOVICH, to the superstar roster for Squared Circle Expo VI, happening March 27-28, 2026 @ the Wyndham Indianapolis West!

The company also issued the following disclaimer regarding Slamovich’s booking:

“Yes we are fully aware of Masha’s scenario and past. That being said, she has sincerely apologized, and she was even punished by her employer for her actions, she is also doing things to right her wrongs. We are all human, and we all make mistakes, and not only that, we do believe in second chances, and one scenario does not tell the story of a whole life. If you have a negative thought or urge to comment negatively, we do remind you that we will delete it, and that there is nearly 100 other superstars at this event, and that while you may harbor certain feelings there are others that do not, and want to meet Masha. Please proceed respectfully, or just scroll on past till the next announcement. -Ed”

Slamovich wrestled her first match since domestic abuse allegations were made against her in September 2025 last month. She returned to the ring at a Circle 6 event on Friday, January 16, facing Haley J. She is also set to wrestle for the Maryland-based MCW promotion on March 1.

TNA announced in September 2025 that it had launched an internal investigation into the domestic abuse allegations against Slamovich. The former TNA Knockouts Champion was later removed from the company’s roster page in December. TNA has said it plans to revisit the situation in 2026 and has left the door open for Slamovich to return.

TNA Wrestling has announced a new match for its next live episode of Impact.

The match comes after Sade eliminated Black from the Knockouts Battle Royal at No Surrender.

This will be Black’s third match in the promotion. She defeated Ruthie Jay on the January 23 taping in Albuquerque before entering the Knockouts Battle Royal on February 13.

As for Sade, the former Jakara Jackson is coming off a win over Ryan Nemeth in an Albuquerque Street Fight on the February 12 episode of Impact.

Tom Hannifan & Matthew Rehwoldt were on commentary.

Indi Hartwell v. Heather (w/ The Elegance Brand)

Ash joined the commentary team to continue the feud that started on social media between her and Mickie James. Ash invited James to show up to Impact next week.

Hartwell climbed the ropes, but while Heather distracted the ref, M pushed Hartwell to the floor. Ash tried to talk about how much Heather has improved just as she flubbed a spot in a corner. Heather did follow that up with a nice moonsault for a near fall. Heather wore down Hartwell with a sleeper and a body scissors while Mr. Elegance shook his pecks at ringside. Hartwell broke the hold by backing Heather in the corner. Then they both fell over when Hartrwell tried a snap mare with Heather on her back.

Hartwell hit a spinebuster and went to the top. The rest of the Elegance Brand tried to interfere, so the ref threw everyone out of the ringside area. Heather tried a Spanish Fly, but Hartwell hung onto the ropes and Heather crashed to the mat. Ash (still at ringside, since she was on commentary) tried to interfere, but Hartwell caught Heather with the Hurts Donut and got the pinfall.

Match Result: Indi Hartwell pinned Heather (7:09).

— Security tried to kept Steve Maclin out of the building, and Tom Hannifan tried to reason with him. Hannifan agreed to see what he could do with “TNA Management” to get Maclin into the building.

Is “TNA Management” Santino Marella? Daria Rae? Carlos Silva? A fourth person or group?

Mike Santana Apologized to Leon Slater

Santana addressed Steve Maclin, “a guy who doesn’t work here no more,” and that if he continues to kick on death’s door, eventually Santana is going to answer and take care of him. Santana called out Leon Slater, and admitted that even though Slater had his back and No Surrender, but Santana didn’t have Slater’s back. Santana apologized to Slater for abandoning him, but then also kind of knocked Slater a little bit by saying Slater wouldn’t have won the match without Moose’s help. Slater doesn’t mind so much though, since he pinned Nic Nemeth in want everyone is trying to put over as the biggest victory of Slater’s career.

This brought out the Nemeths. Nic tried to play off Slater’s victory as lucky, but Santana would have none of that, putting over Slater over as “The Youngest In Charge” and the X Division champion. Slater challenged The Nemeths to a tag match tonight, with Santana as his partner.

Out came Daria Rae, “the SUAT.” The silhouette in her name looks like an “A” on her video tron entrance. Anyway, Rae doesn’t just let the wrestlers make the matches on her show. The match might happen down the road, but they need to get out of the ring for a scheduled match.

— The System call out Moose from their locker room. It’s time for the Moose to move on, and Eddie Edwards predicted gold for the members of System.

— In the back, Frankie Kazarian confirmed with Daria Rae that the Santana/Slater v. Nemeths match would take place next week, and Frankie added himself to the commentary team for that match.

Stacks (w/ Arianna Grace) v. Trey Miguel for the TNA International Title

Grace cut a promo before the match addressing all the online hate. She also (not surprisingly) admitted to “playing [Santino] like a fiddle” to get the title match. Grace said that Stacks would win back the International title and they would solidify themselves as the most powerful couple in wrestling.

Miguel debuted a new “custom” TNA International Title, which had a green strap instead of a blue strap.  This is Stacks “contractually obligated” rematch.

Stacks tried for a couple of quick falls early, then did a good job basing for Stacks high spots, then went to work on the arm. Stacks dropped to the floor to regroup with Grace. The fight went to the floor, and Stacks got in the face of Carlos Silva.

Back in the ring, Stacks got the advantage and slammed Miguel. Stacks mocked Santino Marella by dropping a Santino-like headbutt for a near fall. Stacks cut off a comeback from Miguel with a clothesline. Stacks suplexed Miguel for a near fall. Stacks wore Miguel down with a reverse cravat.

Stacks missed an elbow and Miguel hit him with a Lionsault. Miguel fired up with clotheslines and right hands. Miguel hit a Northern Lights suplex, then rolled through into a hammerlock. Stacks escaped and Miguel hit him with a dropkick to the back of the head. Miguel went for Shellshock, but Stacks countered.

Stacks hit an implant DDT for a near fall. Stacks went to the top and missed. Miguel hit a double stomp for another near fall. Miguel went to the top, but Stacks cut him off. Miguel hit a couple of kicks and came off the top with a meteora for another near fall.

Grace slid her title belt into the ring, distracting the ref and allowing Stacks to rake Miguel’s eyes. Stacks went for a death valley driver, but  Miguel countered with a cradle. Miguel hit a Shellshock and a Lightning Spiral to get the pinfall.

Match Result: Miguel pinned Stacks to retain the TNA International Title (9:53 aired)

This was a million times better than their match at No Surrender.

The TNA Injury Report:

  • BDE is cleared, although dealing with a neck injury.
  • Jeff Hardy is banged up and not cleared.
  • Elijah is not at 100% but cleared anyway.

— Eric Young is going to save TNA by cleansing TNA. Young will start with Leon Staler, who is ruining the legacy of the X Division while trying to impress some other company.

Tessa Blanchard (w/ Victoria Crawford & Mila Moore) v. Jody Threat

Threat won a battle royal at No Surrender to get a TNA Knockouts title match by last eliminating Blanchard.

Blanchard took the match to the mat and thoroughly outclassed Threat. Blanchard countered a Boston Crab attempt, but fell victim to a battery of clotheslines in the corner. Blanchard reversed an Irish whip and buried a knee into Threat’s midsection. Blanchard hit a slingshot splash for a near fall.

Blanchard locked Threat in an abdominal stretch and worked over her ribs. Threat escaped with a hiptoss. Threat came back with some forearms and chops. Threat hit a pump kick and a release German suplex. Threat lifted up Blanchard for a fireman’s carry, and Mila Moore ran in and kicked Threat in the stomach for the disqualification.

Match Result: Threat won via disqualification (4:40).

This match had no heat. Blanchard worked over Threat’s injured ribs until Myla Grace and Harley Hudson made the save.

Rich Swann & BDE v. Sinner & Saint (Judas Icarus and Travis Williams)

Swann and BDE hit some impressive combination moves early, but Williams cut off BDE with a chop. Icarus and Williams hit BDE with a double-team kick in the corner for a near fall. BDE escaped a double suplex and got the tag to Swann. Swann hit Icarus with a superkick, then rana’d Williams onto Icarus. Hannifan put over BDE’s “ond million followers” watching the match on his social media channels.

Williams hit BDE with a brainbuster, but Swann made the save on the pin attempt. BDE hit a “clip cutter” and Swann followed that up with an Oscutter for a near fall. Swann went to the top, but Williams sent BDE into Swann, crouching him. Sinner and Saint hit Total Elimination on BDE to get the victory.

Match Result: Sinner & Saint won via pinfall when Icarus pinned BDE (5:33)

Steph DeLander called AJ Francis a pig, and her husband Mance Warner said she showed him all the trash Francis was talking on social media. DeLander and Warner invaded Francis’ dressing room, whixh ruined a romantic encounter he was having with two ladies. DeLander got in Francis’ face, which kicked off a brawl and soon had to be separated by security.

— The Hardys aren’t hiding from anybody, including the System. The System showed up to confront the Hardys, but The Righteous showed up to back up the Hardys. Brian Myers advised the Hardys not to trust the Righteous. The System left, and Dutch apologized for the miscommunication at No Surrender. The Hardys left, and Dutch mentioned something about Daria making sure “their foot was in the door.”

Elayna Black Challenged Mara Sadé

Black was “thisclose” to getting a shot at the Knockouts title until Mara Sadé eliminated her in the battle royal at No Surrender. Black called out Mara Sadé to explain herself. Sadé mentioned their shared history of coming from the “same place, same locker room” before TNA. Black “eat, sleeps and breathes” wrestling. But Sadé is only in wrestling because she “fits the optics” and “sucks up to management.” Sadé challenged Black to prove that she was a fraud, and Black called Sadé a “stupid little obstacle course” she get past on her way to the title.

Next Week on Impact:

  • Dani Luna v. Lei Ying Lee
  • Santana/Slater v. The Nemeths
  • AD Francis v. Mance Warner
  • Ash by Elegance & Mickie James go “Face to face”
  • Jada Stone v. Tasha Steelz
  • The Hardys & The Righteous v. The System
  • “TNA Management” will allow Steve Maclin to plead his case on next week’s show, with Tom Hannifan doing the interview.

Mustafa Ali v. Elijah in a “Guitar Case Casket Match”

Order 4 were barred from ringside, but that didn’t last. Ali set up six chairs, which Elijah backdropped him onto from the entrance ramp. There were also other musical instruments around ringside for them to use as weapons. Ali cut off Elijah when he pulled a table out from underneath the ring.

Ali found a guitar case and hit Elijah with it. Elijah came back with a popup powerbomb. Ali tried to whip Elijah into the guitar case (that had been wedged in the corner), but Elijah reversed it and Ali went into the guitar case headfirst.

Ali sent Elijah into the post and he tumbled to the floor. Ali hit a 450 to put Elijah through a table on the floor and both guys were down. With both guys down, the members of Order 4 came out and attacked. Agent Zero dumped Elijah in the casket. He tried to close the lid, but Elijah threw powder in his face. Elijah tossed Agent Zero into the instruments at ringside.

Back in the ring, Elijah set up Tasha Steelz for the tombstone. Ali took a swing at Elijah with the guitar, but Elijah turned around and Ali hit Steelz with the guitar. Elijah hit the tombstone and dumped Ali in the casket, but Jason Hotch and John Skylar kept Elijah from closing the lid. Ali recovered and low-blowed Elijah.

Ali hit Elijah with a superkick while Skylar and Hotch put a bedroom door on top of the open casket. Ali went for the 450 but missed, and Elijah hit Ali with a guitar. Elijah put Hotch and Skylar through a table. Elijah then choke slammed Ali through the door and into the casket, then shut the lid.

Match Result: Elijah put Ali into the casket (11:50).

The crowd loved the match. Hopefully Ali moves onto better things.
