BVV: A disastrous TNA Sacrifice with one match to go out of your way to see

Sacrifice, the latest streaming special from TNA Wrestling, started off great but then kept getting worse until the main event ended in disaster.

Steve Maclin’s injury was the biggest news coming out of the show but even before that, we had terrible booking, wretched finishes, boring matches, and preposterous backstage segments.

However, everyone should go out of their way to watch Eric Young vs. Leon Slater, because Young is one of the most underrated wrestlers of the last 20 years and Slater is TNA’s brightest hope for a future star.

Sadly, there’s nothing else here to recommend but we’ll get through it anyway on the Big Vinny V Show!

New match added to live TNA Impact lineup

TNA Wrestling has announced a new match for its next live episode of Impact.

The March 5 edition of Impact will take place at Gateway Center Arena in College Park, Georgia. Elayna Black vs. Mara Sade is now scheduled for the show.

TNA announced the news via Facebook on Saturday, writing:

“ATLANTA! Don’t miss Mara Sadé vs. Elayna Black as #TNAiMPACT comes to the Gateway Center Arena on March 5 and 6. Get tickets at TNAWrestling.com!”

The match comes after Sade eliminated Black from the Knockouts Battle Royal at No Surrender.

This will be Black’s third match in the promotion. She defeated Ruthie Jay on the January 23 taping in Albuquerque before entering the Knockouts Battle Royal on February 13.

As for Sade, the former Jakara Jackson is coming off a win over Ryan Nemeth in an Albuquerque Street Fight on the February 12 episode of Impact.

The updated lineup is below.

Big Vinny V: Live edition of Impact with Bound For Glory build

With their biggest show of the year only a month away, TNA has some work to do. So the live episode of Impact this week was dedicated to announcing and building matches for the big show.

That means we only got three matches—Matt Cardona vs. Frankie Kazarian, Jodi Threat vs. Dani Luna vs. Indi Hartwell, and the Hardys & Mara Sade vs. the Great Hands & Tasha Steelz—but those matches all got plenty of time in between all the promos, angles, and returns. We’ll get into it on the Big Vinny V Show!

Former WWE NXT wrestler signs with TNA Wrestling

The wrestler formerly known as Jakara Jackson has signed with TNA Wrestling.

Wrestling under the name Mara Sade, the former Jackson returned to TNA on Thursday’s live Impact episode as the mystery partner in a Knockouts trios match, teaming with The IInspiration’s Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay. The trio defeated Ash by Elegance, Heather by Elegance, and M by Elegance in the contest.

TNA announced that they have signed Sade to a contract, posting video of her inking the new deal with company president Carlos Silva and producer Tommy Dreamer.

Sade was part of the Meta Four stable in WWE NXT alongside Lash Legend, Noam Dar, and Oro Mensah. The group stood out in part due to a memorable and visually impressive entrance:

Jackson and LEgend made several appearances for TNA earlier this year, including challenging for the TNA Knockouts Tag Team titles at Rebellion in April.

Sade was released by WWE in May of this year, ending a nearly four-year-run with the company.

Jakara Jackson wrestles first post-WWE match in France

Jakara Jackson wrestled her first match outside of WWE this weekend.

Wrestling under her new ring name Mara Sade, she teamed with Tiara James and defeated Rhio and JGU at a 4th Rope Wrestling event in the suburbs of Paris, France on Saturday.

Sade also revealed that she recorded her new theme music herself.

Westside Gunn’s 4th Rope Wrestling

4th Rope Wrestling’s Heels Have Eyes: Pray Four Paris took place at Studio Jenny in Nanterre, France, and featured talent such as The Good Brothers, The Infantry, EJ Nduka, and Real1, the former Enzo Amore, who defended the promotion’s flyweight title against Thiago Montero. RevPro Champion Michael Oku and APC Champion Kuro went to a no contest in the main event.

4th Rope Wrestling was created by rapper Westside Gunn in 2024. So far, the promotion has run events in Austin, Texas (coinciding with SXSW), Las Vegas (during WrestleMania week), and Saturday’s show, which lined up with Fashion Week in Paris. Other events have taken place in Atlanta and Chicago.

Jakara Jackson’s first post-WWE match set for JCW event

Jakara Jackson’s first post-WWE match has been announced.

On Wednesday, Jersey Championship Wrestling revealed that Jackson, now wrestling as Mara Sadè, will challenge Masha Slamovich for the promotion’s world championship (provided Slamovich is still champion) at its July 6 event in Asbury Park, New Jersey.

Jackson was released from WWE on May 2. Shortly afterward, she published a video stating that she plans to continue her wrestling career.

“Do I wish that I could have shown the world what I can do on my own? Hell yes. And the way I see it, I’m still going to get that opportunity, just in a different way,” she said.

Although she initially stated she wanted to be referred to as Miss Jackson following her release, she has since updated her social media profiles to feature the name Mara Sadè.

Her most recent match took place at TNA Rebellion, where she teamed with Lash Legend in a four-way tag team title bout won by Heather and Ash By Elegance.
