Lash Legend gets more nervous for Trick Williams’ WWE matches than her own

Lash Legend loves watching her fiance Trick Williams succeed in WWE — even if she gets more nervous for his matches than her own.

During an interview with Esteban Ramirez, Legend expressed how proud she is of Williams in leveling up from NXT to SmackDown. They are both now members of WWE’s blue brand. The couple announced their engagement in November last year, which was around the same time Legend was moved to the main roster.

“It feels so good. Honestly — and I tell him this all the time — I’ll be more nervous to watch him than for me to go out there,” Legend said. “I’m pretty chill, I usually don’t get too anxious with things, I’ll just be excited more than anything and ready to do it. But I feel like with him, I’m actually like ‘Oh my gosh.’ It’s because it’s a different type of excitement when you see somebody that you really care about, and you know somebody who’s been working their butt off his whole life.

“I feel like everything that he is doing, and the opportunities that he is getting right now, he has prepared for his entire life. It’s really crazy to see, just all the work you put in and finally reaping those benefits. It’s a beautiful thing to see, and I’m just glad I get to support him and be by his side and just cheer him on and give him his flowers.”

Legend made her NXT debut in 2020 after an accomplished college career in basketball and brief stint in the WNBA. She has formed a tag team with former rival Nia Jax on SmackDown, with the two currently holding the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

The Irresistible Forces win Women’s Tag Team titles on WWE SmackDown

New Women’s Tag Team Champions have been crowned.

Nia Jax and Lash Legend, the Irresistible Forces, defeated Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY to win the titles for the first time as a team. The finish had Ripley tag in and lay out Jax with the riptide. Legend came in from behind and planted Ripley with the Lash extension, pinning her to win the titles for her team.

Later backstage the two were celebrating, with Jax noting she was now a three-time Tag Team Champion and that Legend had won her first title in WWE. They announced that they would hold a celebration on next week’s SmackDown.

The two have been teaming up since last fall, when Lash was called up to the main roster. In recent weeks, they have been going under the name The Irresistible Forces, a play off of Jax’s nickname. The two teams previously met on the February 13 edition of SmackDown, ending in a no contest when all four women started to brawl on the outside.

Ripley & SKY had been champions for 54 days, defeating The Kabuki Warriors on the January 5 edition of Raw.

Women’s Tag Team title match part of next week’s WWE SmackDown lineup

A rematch for the Women’s Tag Team titles is part of next week’s SmackDown in Louisville, Kentucky.

This week’s show saw Nia Jax and Lash Legend reveal their new team name, the Irresistible Forces. It was also announced that the two will challenge for the Women’s Tag Team titles on next week’s show. They came up short in defeating Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY on last week’s show.

A singles match between Uncle Howdy and Solo Sikoa will also take place. After Tama Tonga defeated Ilja Dragunov on Friday, the MFTs continued to attack Dragunov and also took care of Matt Cardona and Apollo Crews, who attempted to make the save. Uncle Howdy appeared on the screen and challenged Sikoa to appear by himself next week, noting that he would do the same.

Other matches will see Jordynne Grace take on Candace LeRae after a backstage confrontation and Oba Femi meeting The Miz after they too had an encounter backstage.

AJ Lee forces ex-champion to tap, wins Women’s WarGames at Survivor Series 2025

AJ Lee has secured the victory for her team at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025.

In the first match of the night at Petco Park in San Diego, California, fans witnessed one of the best women’s matches in recent memory. In only her second bout in almost a decade, AJ Lee trapped Becky Lynch in the Black Widow, forcing her to tap out and sealing the win in a match lasting nearly 41-minutes.

The match also featured several violent moments, which is common in a steel cage environment. All six women pushed each other to their absolute limits. Nia Jax and Lash Legend brutally powerbombed Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair against the cage, while later in the match, Asuka fired friendly shots as she accidentally misted Legend with poison mist, taking her out of the action for the remainder of the bout.

In the final moments, IYO Sky performed her iconic trash can dive from the top of the cage onto four other women, opening the opening Lee needed. AJ Lee then swiftly locked in the Black Widow on Becky Lynch to secure the victory.

Trick Williams & Lash Legend announce engagement

Lash Legend and Trick Williams are now engaged.

The two made the announcement on social media on Friday. Video was shown of the two celebrating Thanksgiving with their family when Trick got down on one knee and popped the question.

“I was gonna wait,” Williams said in the video. “I’ll do this later. But I feel it. Everybody being here…I’m thankful for God, I’m thankful for Anriel.”

“As I’m making this post Im getting emotional again but of pure joy, happiness, and peace,” Legend wrote. “If you know me, you know I dont play about my man! I love him more than words could ever put together. So honored blessed and thankful to spend the rest of my life with my handsome bestie @trickwilliams_wwe.”

Last year, the two were involved in a storyline on NXT where Trick Williams feuded with Noam Dar of the Meta-Four. The tension between Legend and Williams briefly turned romantic before the two eventually parted ways, choosing to focus on other things. In real life, the two began dating during their time training at the Performance Center.

Legend was recently called up from NXT, forming an alliance with Nia Jax. The two will take part in the Women’s War Games match at Survivor Series this Saturday.

Lash Legend talks WWE main roster call-up, gratitude for NXT

WWE star Lash Legend recently spoke with Denise Salcedo about her official call-up to the SmackDown roster, and her gratitude for her years in NXT.

Legend will take part in the women’s WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series this Saturday in San Diego and spoke to Salcedo about the timing of her call-up coming almost one year after a cup of coffee on the SmackDown brand. When asked if she was surprised by the timing, Legend said:

“Honestly? No. I think, honestly, the past year I’ve been knowing that… I’ve just been having a feeling of knowing in my gut since we had the storyline around this time last year, honestly, with the tag division. I’ve just known since then, ‘okay, surely, surely I should be up there soon. And so I’ve just been very optimistic. It wasn’t a matter of if, it was a matter of when.

I was very happy, though, when it officially did happen.”

Legend also discussed her support system including real-life partner Trick Williams:

“I’m very grateful. I’ve had a lot of great support, like I’ve just had a great support system. Obviously my man [Trick] is here, he understands the business as well and he’s been super supportive.

And having the girls on the main roster being so supportive even though I wasn’t, like, officially on there. Like, Nia [Jax]’s been supportive, Bianca Belair, Naomi. Like these girls have been so nice and uplifting me. And Bianca was just always like, ‘It’s going to happen, it’s going to happen.’

“I’m just grateful for that, honestly. I feel like a lot of these women have me a lot of hope. And then when [getting called up] officially happened, just having all the support and love, it was very nice to see.”

After also shouting out WWE fans and behind-the-scenes crew for their support, Legend also spoke about the ups and downs and gratitude she experienced in NXT:

“I’m grateful. I was there for five years and it was a lot of different opportunities, some special moments, highs and lows. I’m just grateful. I’m grateful for every single thing I endured at NXT.

I’m grateful for all the relationships I have with the coaches, with Shawn Michaels, just everybody. It’s helped me. I think the reason why I can go [to the SmackDown roster] right now is because of everything I learned during that time.

So even if I felt like, okay, I was supposed to be up a year ago, if that was the case? Like, no, I’m grateful that I was there as long as I was because I kept learning, kept learning, and it literally prepared me for where I am right now.”

The full interview with Lash Legend is embedded below.

NXT wrestler officially moved to main roster after WWE SmackDown segment

Lash Legend is now officially part of the WWE SmackDown brand.

Legend appeared during Friday’s SmackDown, getting involved in the Nia Jax vs. Charlotte Flair match by attacking Alexa Bliss, who was at ringside supporting Flair. Moments later, Jax hit an Annihilator on Flair for the win. Legend and Jax celebrated together as the segment came to a close.

Legend’s bio on WWE.com has since been moved from the NXT brand to SmackDown. While Legend has wrestled on the main roster multiple times, including a United States title tournament match on SmackDown last year, this marks the start of her being full time on the main roster.

In a backstage interview that aired later in the show on Friday, Jax explained her new alliance with Legend.

“Alexa and Charlotte said I needed to find a friend, and jokes on them, I found a friend. I had a friend. I faced Lash on an NBC, and she is a formidable adversary and I know she’s a bada–. That’s why she’s my friend,” Nia said.

Legend added, “If you didn’t know, I’m Lash Legend, the one and only bougie bully. And based on what I just did to Alexa, clearly I’m everything I say I am and best believe we’re going straight to the top. And tonight was just the beginning.”

Shortly after the segment aired, WrestleVotes reported that Legend is expected to be a fixture on SmackDown moving forward and will continue to be aligned with Jax.

NXT star forms alliance with Nia Jax on WWE SmackDown

Lash Legend appears to have moved to the main roster.

Nia Jax was wrestling Charlotte Flair on Friday when Lash appeared in the stands, attacking Alexa Bliss at ringside. Legend bearhugged Bliss as Jax scored the win, hitting the annihilator. After the match the two celebrated Jax’s win, cementing their alliance.

Backstage, Nia Jax said she recalled Bliss & Flair telling her that she needed a friend, and now confirmed that she had one, mocking Bliss & Flair’s tentative relationship. Lash said that the two were going to the top, and tonight was just the beginning.

WrestleVotes is reporting that with Legend’s appearance on Friday, she’s officially moved to the main roster.

Legend, who held NCAA records in college basketball and formerly played in the WNBA, signed with WWE in 2020 and started appearing on NXT television the following year. Most notably, she was part of the Meta Four stable with Noam Dar, Oro Mensah, and Jakara Jackson. After the stable broke up earlier this year, Legend branched out as a singles wrestler, recently feuding with Jaida Parker. Her most recent NXT match was on October 28, losing to Kendal Grey in a match that was for the EVOLVE Women’s title.

Match added for next WWE NXT

A new match is set for Tuesday’s NXT.

Jaida Parker and Lash Legend will have another match following the events of the No Mercy PLE from Saturday night. Additionally, NXT GM Ava and TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella will name their teams for the upcoming Invasion elimination matches set for October 7.

Parker ended up being the surprise replacement for Laney Reid, who was announced as being unable to compete against Sol Ruca for the Women’s Speed title. In the closing moments of the match, Lash Legend came out and fought with Parker and Zaria, who speared Legend at ringside. The distraction allowed Ruca to hit the sol snatcher on Parker to retain her title.

Later in the night, Legend came out and expressed interest the upcoming Invasion elimination match. Parker soon emerged and the two got into another brawl as security had to step in.

Earlier in the night, Ava announced that she had spoke to Santino and the two agreed to an Invasion special on The CW on October 7. Along with the men’s and women’s NXT vs. TNA elimination matches, TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardys will face NXT Tag Team Champions Darkstate in a title for title match with everyone barred from ringside.

WWE NXT (September 30):

  • Lash Legend vs. Jaida Parker
  • Ava and Santino Marella choose their teams for NXT Invasion

Trick Williams on Lash Legend’s WWE Evolution performance: ‘That was a beautiful thing’

Trick Williams watched on with pride as his girlfriend Lash Legend had the biggest moment of her career so far at WWE Evolution.

In her hometown of Atlanta, Legend was among the NXT contingent who participated in the Evolution Battle Royal on Sunday night. She made it to the final two of the match before losing out to main roster star Stephanie Vaquer. Along the way, Legend got to shine by eliminating Nikki Bella and lifting up Nia Jax for her elimination.

Williams was interviewed by the Battleground Podcast following Evolution and expressed how proud he was of Legend.

“Man, that was a beautiful thing,” he said. “I mean, in her hometown of the ATL of Atlanta. Watching her succeed, watching her do incredible things, man. She picked Nia Jax up — how many women do you think are capable of doing such a thing? Not many. She picked Zelina [Vega] up like a little rag doll [and threw her out]. Hit Nikki Bella in the mouth. I was a proud supporter [on Sunday], I’m not going to lie.”

Legend (real name Anriel Howard) is a former college basketball star and was drafted to the WNBA in 2019 prior to joining WWE in 2020. She and Williams recently bought a house together.

The Battleground Podcast’s interview with Williams was to promote TNA Slammiversary 2025, where Williams will defend his TNA World Championship against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana in a triple threat match this Sunday (July 20). Before that, there will be a six-man tag bout on NXT tonight where Williams, Hendry & Santana face off against DarkState.

WWE NXT live results: Evolution Eliminator fatal four-way

Tonight, we’ll find out the challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship at WWE Evolution.

A fatal four-way match between Jordynne Grace, Jaida Parker, Lash Legend, and Izzi Dame is set to headline tonight’s NXT episode. The all-women’s PLE is taking place in Atlanta on July 13.

Jacy Jayne is the current NXT Women’s Champion, but she has Blake Monroe (the former Mariah May) eyeing her title.

Two title matches are also part of tonight’s card. To open the show, Trick Williams puts his TNA World Championship on the line against Josh Briggs. There will then be a Tony D’Angelo vs. Channing Lorenzo match later in the night to determine a new Heritage Cup Champion after Noam Dar had to vacate the trophy due to injury.

Join us for live coverage starting at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

**********

The show opens with short and direct promos from the four wrestlers looking to earn a title shot for the NXT Women’s Championship. Lash Legend, Izzi Dame, Jaida Parker and Jordynne Grace all cut promos ahead of the fatal four-way later tonight.

Kicking off this WWE show is a TNA title match, which is still an odd sentence to type. Way less odd considering the TNA champion is WWE talent defending against someone else from WWE on their show.

TNA World Champion Trick Williams defeated Josh Briggs (with Yoshiki Inamura) to retain his title

For his entrance, Briggs wore a vest with a smoking skull resting on his shoulder. He and Trick have a really good opening bout, and Trick pinned Briggs to retain the TNA title. Joe Hendry returns to NXT television in a post-match angle.

The match goes through a slit-screen commercial break. Just before cutting to commercials, Trick gets in the face of Inamura and they jaw at each other at ringside. Trick goes to cheap shot Inamura, but he blocks Trick. Briggs then boots Trick with a big leg, and Briggs is fired up as the show heads into the break.

Trick cuts off Briggs during the break with a spin kick. Briggs with a comeback after the show returns to full screen. The action intensifies as they trade near falls. Trick counters a chokeslam, and they botch an attempted powerbomb. Briggs then completes the chokeslams for a close near fall, where Trick grabs the bottom rope to stop to break the count.

Slugfest as the trade punches and kicks. They fight on, and Briggs goes for a moonsault press. No water in the pool. Trick then hits Briggs with a running knee strike, and Trick hooks a leg while covering Briggs for a pinfall.

Trick gets the house microphone and cuts a promo in front of the live studio audience. Boasting about himself, Trick says he carried two brands. He proclaims himself as the greatest TNA champion. Suddenly, Joe Hendry’s theme song interrupts the post-match promo, along with an entrance video.

Trick squares up and looks toward the entrance ramp. Hendry sneaks into the ring behind Trick. The TNA champ turns around only to get clotheslined by Hendry. Trick bumps and feeds for Hendry, before Hendry clotheslines him over the top rope to the floor.

No Quarter Catch Crew are in a skit where Tavion Heights reveals a special protective mask he will wear in his match. Charlie Dempsey assumes Heights is out of the match due to injury, but Heights is cleared to wrestle with the protective mask.

In a separate skit, Myles Borne is talking with a couple collegiate football players. Lexis King tries to interrupts by yelling at Borne, who is partially deaf. King also insults the football players, but he soon backpedals. This skit seems to set up a singles bout with King against Borne.

Je’Von Evans vs. Tavion Heights (with Wren Sinclair & Charlie Dempsey)

Evans pinned Heights to win the match. The protective mask Heights wore looks like Hannibal Lecter. Heights looked strong at times despite cleanly dropping the fall. They had a good match with a lot of action. Evans flew with a dive before the show cuts to commercial.

Soon after returning from the commercial break, they go home. For the finish, Evans leaped to the ropes with a double springboard tornillo splash. Evans then scores a pinfall.

After the match, Jasper Troy runs in to attack Evans. Troy lays out Evans with a Black Hole slam. Troy then strolls out of the ring past the No Quarter Catch Crew. Troys’ beef is apparently only with Evans.

Noam Dar is out due to an apparent injury, and he relinquishes the NXT Heritage Cup Championship. Dar was set to defend against Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo. Instead, Lorenzo faces his arch-rival Tony D’Angelo for the vacant Heritage Cup. Winner takes the Cup in the latest in the saga of the D’Angelo Family.

Ricky Saints defeated Ashante “Thee” Adonis

Saint pinned Adonis after a Roshambo. In what was basically a showcase match to get Saints over, the bout goes through a commercial break and is rejoined in progress. Saints gets to pose before the show cuts to the break. Heat spot as the show returns, and Saints makes a comeback. Saints delivers his finisher and scores a decisive victory.

Ethan Page runs in after the match to ambush Saints. Page uses a voiceover to trick Page into falling prey to a sneak attack. Page then executes Saint’s own finisher as Page gives Saints a Roshambo. Those two seem headed for a blow off match.

Darkstate is the focus of a pre-taped promo sponsored by a corporate insurance company, which kind of kills their whole gimmick. Pays well though.

NXT Champion Oba Femi is headed to the ring for an in-ring monologue. Femi with a strong promo that leads to Inamura coming out to challenge Femi.

Femi first boasts in his monologue as he puts himself over as “The Ruler” of NXT. He defeats all comers and now sits atop his kingdom. Other nights coast, but not Femi. He craves the fight, and Femi says he’s grown restless for new challengers.

Yoshiki Inamura and his striking mohawk confront Femi. Inamura talks about coming to NXT looking to chase glory. He went home when glory did not come. Inamura went home to Japan and realized what he missed, like his tag partner Josh Briggs and NXT itself. Inamura pledges his love for NXT and its fans. He wants to pay back their passion by winning the NXT Championship.

Femi responds by saying they are both strangers in a strange land. Femi then says they differ because Femi stayed and thrived here, while Inamura went back. Femi talks about the fans still embracing Inamura when he came back. Femi says that does not fool him. Femi sees Inamura as a warrior looking for the spirit of the fight, but Femi cautions that fighting for the honor of the fans is a mistake. Femi warns that Inamura will fall to the “The Ruler” like everyone else. Inamura steps towards Femi, gets in his face, and Inamura says he is ready.

Inamura was looking good until he is blindsided by Jasper Troy. Heckuva of a way to put Inamura over as a challenger. Good segment except for the dumb run-in.

Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo defeated Tony D’Angelo to win the NXT Heritage Championship

Stacks won the Heritage Cup after Luca Crusifino inadvertently hits D’Angelo with the bucket.

No falls in the first round. They keep fighting after the bell sounds to end round one, and they are pulled apart by officials. Not long into the second round, D’Angelo scores a pinfall after a spear. Stacks takes a bump on the announce desk and sells his ribs before taking the spear.

Most of round three takes place during a commercial break. The show returns from the break with 20 seconds remaining in round two. Stacks with a knee drop for a near fall as the round ends. Between rounds, Stacks with a cheap shot by stomping on D’Angelo’s knee. That plays into the start of the next round.

D’Angelo buckles to the knee injured by Stacks stomping on it, and Stacks using a small package for a pinfall to end round three. That evens the score in the match a one fall apiece.d;

Luca Crusifino runs down to ringside to get in the corner of D’Angelo. The story going into the match is D’Angelo still mistrusts Crusifino, which also plays into the finish.

D’Angelo hip-tosses Stacks out of the ring, and Stacks is caught by his henchmen from his mafia crew. One of the henchmen tries to use a spit bucket as a weapon, but Crusifino blocks it. However, Crusifino inadvertently hits D’Angelo with the bucket. Stacks then delivers a shining wizard, and Stacks covers D’Aneglo to win the Cup in the fifth round.

Crusifino pleads his case to D’Angelo as Crusifino tries to help him up. An angry D’Angelo decks Crusifino, and Crusifino sells big.

The Fatal Influence trio is interviewed backstage by Sarach Schreiber. Falling Henley first cuts a promo on Blake Monroe, and then NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne cuts her own promo on Monroe. Jayne then comments on the fatal four-way later tonight. Jayne vows to retain the title at Evolution.

Jordynne Grace warms up in the locker room, as the main event is up next. Beforehand is a backstage skit that sets up a singles match between Thea Hail and Lainey Reid. Lash Legend interrupts them on her way to the main event.

NXT GM Ava and NXT North American Champion Ethan Page are in another skit, and she tells Page that he and Ricky Saints are required to be in her office next week. Suddenly, there is a commotion off camera. Ava runs to see NXT Tag Team Champions Hank & Tank laid out.

Joe Hendry is interviewed backstage, and he vows to regain the TNA title at Slammiversary. Hendry also cuts a promo on Wes Lee, as the two are scheduled for a singles match on NXT television.

Chase U is the focus of a vignette.

Jordynne Grace defeated Jaida Parker, Lash Legend and Izzi Dame (with Tatum Paxley) in number one contender’s fatal four-way

Grace pinned Parker to win the match.

Paxley is in Dame’s corner after a skit earlier in the show where Dame invited Paxley to join her. Fatal Influence watches from a perch above the ring. NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca and her partner, Zaria, run to counteract outside interference from Paxley. Zaria carries Paxley away before the show cuts to its final commercial break.

Lots of action and high spots after the break, a lot of near falls in the closing minutes. All four were given time to shine. They did a Tower of Doom spot.

The closing moments were intense. Grace picks up Parker into a torture rack, and Grace then turns it into a sit-out powerbomb. Grace then covers Parker to win the match, and she becomes number one contender. Although the match was good, it was a very contrived way to make Grace the top contender instead of building her up as such a contender. But they had a tournament and this match because why not. Regardless, Grace goes on to challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT women’s title.

TNA Impact live results: The women of WWE NXT take over

The women of WWE NXT will take over tonight’s TNA Impact from St. Joseph, Missouri.

In the night’s featured match, TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich will team with Xia Brookside and Lei Ying lee against Tessa Blanchard and NXT’s Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx with Fallon Henley in their corner.

After making their presence felt at Sacrifice, NXT’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson will take on former Knockouts Tag Team Champions Spitfire.

Director of Authority Santino Marella will share a special announcement about the future of the Digital Media title.

TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardys will be on hand to have a talk as their Rebellion match against Nick & Ryan Nemeth looms in the distance.

The System will have a public firing after some recent defeats, Frankie Kazarian will take on Elijah in a singles bout, and Mance Warner and Steph De Lander will reveal what’s next in their war with Sami Callihan.

**********
Frankie Kazarian defeated Elijah

The theme for Joe Hendry kicked things off, as the TNA World Champion heads down to the ringside area to join Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on special guest commentary for the first match of the show.

Frankie Kazarian’s entrance tune hits and the self-proclaimed “King of TNA” heads to the ring with his massive Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy in-hand. He settles inside, his music dies down, and the lights go down.

Elijah’s theme hits and out he comes with his trademark guitar over his shoulder. After he gets in the ring, the bell sounds and the first match of the show gets underway. Kazarian hits Elijah with a cheap-shot, but Elijah fights back and does Undertaker’s top-rope-walking “Old-School” spot.

Elijah looked to follow up with his signature piledriver, but Kazarian had it well-scouted and pumped the breaks. Kazarian slides out to the floor, but Elijah comes out after him. Kazarian ends up sending him face-first into the steel ring post.

Kazarian comes over and taunts Hendry, even slapping his headset nearly off his head. Hendry stands up and gets in his face. Hendry gets shoved into Elijah. Back in the ring seconds later, Kazarian rolls Elijah up and gets a handful of jeans to score the cheap pin.

After the bell sounds to end the match, Hendry hits the ring like a madman and tackles Kazarian down to the mat. He ground-and-pounds away until a ton of security guards hit the ring and break them up. They get free and the fight is on again. Elijah breaks it up.

The show went to a commercial break afterwards. When the show returned, Hendry was being checked by a TNA medic backstage about a potential arm injury. The medic, fearing a tear, insisted that Hendry go to get X-rays.

The System’s Bond Is Strong As Ever

Back inside the Impact Zone, Hannifan sets the stage on commentary for the next segment after showing video footage of Eddie Edwards talking to each member of The System last week. In the ring, Edwards brings it up himself and then tells every member of The System to come out.

The System theme hits and out comes Eddie’s wife, Alisha Edwards, as well as his tag-team partner Brian Myers, and fellow members Moose and JDC. He starts with JDC, saying he has known him longer than anyone, including his wife.

Edwards says he knows JDC is sick of losing. He wants him to tell him to his face if he’s in or out. JDC tells the fans to shut up and insists he’s in. The two hug. Edwards gives JDC his System ring. He moves on to his partner, Myers. He asks him the same. “Let’s finish what we started … I’m in!” he responds.

Eddie Edwards then moves on to his wife. He says he knows she doesn’t want to hang around losers. He asks her the same. She responds, as always, “Do you wanna know something?” She follows up, “I love you, I’m in.”

Last, but not least, Edwards approaches TNA X-Division Champion Moose in the corner. Fans start chanting Moose’s name. He asks if he’s in or not. Before Moose can respond, the theme for Cody Deaner interrupts them.

He says he’s been waiting all week to see someone get fired. He tries luring Moose into letting the fans decide, hoping he’ll leave The System, but in the end, gets beat down by all of them and left laying.

The Meta Girls (Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend) defeated Spitfire (Jody Threat & Dani Luna)

Backstage, Xia Brookside, Lei Ying Lee and TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich are with Gia Miller. They preview tonight’s match against Tessa Blanchard, Jacy Jane and Jazmyn Nyx. The show heads to another commercial break.

When the show returns, Santino Marella informs Moose that Matt Cardona and Leon Slater are the first two official participants for the Ultimate X match for the X-Division Championship at TNA Rebellion 2025. The System are told they’ll all be in matches on next week’s Impact.

Inside the Impact Zone, Spitfire duo Jody Threat and Dani Luna make their way to the ring, as do their opponents, Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, the latter of whom receive loud “NXT! NXT!” chants from the fans in attendance.

In the early goings, the NXT duo overpower the former TNA Knockouts Champions. Threat ends up isolated in the ring for a prolonged period of time, with Jackson and Legend tagging in and out frequently to keep a fresh person on her at all times.

Threat starts fighting back, hitting Legend and Jackson over-and-over again by herself. Legend goes for a big shot but accidentally blasts Jackson and lays her out. Threat catches Legend with a big boot in the corner, but then leaps into Legend’s arms. Legend and Jackson hit the MKO for the win.

The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) defeated The Great Hands (John Skyler & Jason Hotch)

Backstage, Mike Santana introduces Derek to TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella and walks off. Santino tells Derek he’ll show him around. Hannifan and Rehwoldt promote Santino’s “groundbreaking announcement” for later, and the show heads into another commercial break.

When the show returns, the iconic theme for The Hardys plays and out comes TNA World Tag-Team Champions Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy. Matt starts, addressing the attack he endured at the hands of Nic Nemeth. He shows a scar he suffered that scared his children and vows revenge.

Hardy even does some soft teases for a BROKEN Matt Hardy return with references to “BROKEN” and “DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!” Jeff Hardy laughs off The Nemeths’ claim of being the best brother duo in wrestling history.

The Hardys end up getting interrupted by The Great Hands duo of John Skyler and Jason Hotch, who come out to the ring with Tasha Steelz. After the two teams have words, Santino Marella comes out and makes a match between them.

The show heads to a commercial break, with the impromptu tag bout waiting on the other side. When the show returns, the bell sounds to start off the non-title bout. Steelz is on commentary with Hannifan and Rehwoldt. Matt starts off for his team and jumps into an early offensive lead.

After some more back-and-forth action, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break. When the show returns, after enjoying a few minutes in the offensive lead, The Great Hands find themselves back on the defensive after Jeff gets the hot tag, which leads to The Hardys scoring the pin.

Joe Hendry Medical Update

Backstage, Ryan Nemeth is getting under the skin of Leon Slater. This leads to some physicality, which several rush to the scene to break-up before it gets too far out of hand. Santino Marella enters the picture and makes a match between the two for next week.

The show heads to another commercial break on that note. When it returns, Gia Miler is backstage with the TNA lead doctor, who gives a medical update on the injury status of TNA World Champion Joe Hendry.

The doctor reveals that Hendry suffered a grade three severe sprain on his rotator cuff, which they mention is a bad injury. When asked about his status for TNA Rebellion 2025, it’s stated that it’s up in the air, while pointing out that Hendry is the champion and as tough as anyone who could fight through it.

Santino Marella Makes His “Groundbreaking Announcement”

Back inside the Impact Zone, TNA Digital Media Champion(s) Mance Warner and Steph De Lander make their way out to the top of the stage. They boast about being the champion(s) and talk about how in love they are, while also bragging about being on magazine covers.

Santino Marella’s theme cuts them off. He tells them they’ve never earned the TNA Digital Media Championship. He says he is taking the title. At TNA Unbreakable 2025, a tournament will be held to crown the first-ever TNA International Champion.

He says the tournament is a tribute to TNA Unbreakable 2005, where AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe vs. Christopher Daniels took place for the TNA X-Division Championship. As a tribute to it, every match in the tournament will be a three-way match.

As Santino demands Warner and De Lander to hand over the TNA Digital Media Championship, as they are refusing to do so, out of nowhere Warner is attacked behind with a baseball bat by Sami Callihan. Callihan then launches Warner off the stage and through a table.

He then picks up the TNA Digital Media Championship and hands it to Santino. He walks off as Hannifan drives home the significance of the groundbreaking announcement regarding the TNA International Championship.

Mustafa Ali Bullies Derek

The show heads to another commercial break after Derek is told Mustafa Ali wants a word with him. When the show returns, Ali talks to Derek about being an addict as a way of getting to Mike Santana once again.

He gives him drugs and says he’s an addict, so he’ll ruin himself. Later in the show, Santana catches up with him and he’s high.

George Iceman Has Sights Set On Maggie Lee

Backstage, George Iceman and Heather By Elegance talk about Ash By Elegance being on vacation. Santino mentions having his eye on someone, who he says is Maggie Lee. He’s got some ideas. He and Heather go off to have a drink and talk about them.

TNA International Title Tourney Match, Another Ultimate X Participant

Santino Marella announces the first round TNA International Championship tournament match for TNA Unbreakable, which will feature Eddie Edwards vs. Ace Austin vs. Steve Maclin.

El Del Vikingo is also announced for the TNA X-Division Championship Ultimate X match at TNA Rebellion 2025.

Tessa Blanchard, Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx (w/ Fallon Henley) defeated Masha Slamovich, Xia Brookside & Lei Ying Lee

It’s main event (match) time!

After the rapid-fire, back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back announcement segments, the show settles back inside the Impact Zone where the first team in the six-Knockouts tag-team main event make their way out to the ring.

TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich, Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee make their respective ring walks. Their opponents, Tessa Blanchard, and her partners from NXT’s Fatal Influence, Jacy Jane and Jazmyn Nyx, make their way out accompanied by Fallon Henley.

The bell sounds and things get officially off-and-running with Slamovich and Blanchard representing their respective teams. Slamovich runs wild on Blanchard, Hulkamania-style, straight out of the gate. As the action spills to the floor, the show shifts gears and heads into a mid-match commercial break.

When the show returns, the match continues in progress, as we see Rosemary watching on from in the middle of the crowd. All hell breaks loose with all six in the ring, culminating with Slamovich about to hit her finisher, only for Blanchard to strike from behind. Blanchard connected with her Buzzsaw finisher for the win.

TNA Rebellion 2025 Main Event Announced

It’s main event (segment) time!

But first, Santino Marella is shown backstage with the big gold tumbler. He is ready to randomly pick the next three men who will compete in the second officially announced triple-threat opening round match in the TNA International Championship Tournament at TNA Unbreakable 2025.

It will be Sami Callihan vs. Eric Young vs. JDC. After this, we see a shot of the Call Your Shot trophy. Frankie Kazarian picks it up and Hannifan and Rehwoldt mention the news regarding Joe Hendry’s opponent for his TNA World Championship defense at TNA Rebellion 2025 coming up next.

On that note, the show settles into the final commercial break of the evening. When the show returns, Santino Marella reveals Zachary Wentz vs. Mance Warner vs. AJ Francis in the third triple-threat qualifying match for the TNA International Championship at TNA Unbreakable 2025.

Sami Callihan comes in and demands to be put in the match. He tells Santino he’s not gonna like what he does if he doesn’t get his hands on Warner. Santino tells him okay. It’s now Callihan vs. Warner vs. Francis. The other match is now Wentz vs. Young vs. JDC. We then get the matches for next week’s show (see below).

Frankie Kazarian’s theme hits inside the Impact Zone and out he comes to the ring. He gets on the microphone and mentions Joe Hendry suffering an injury. He says he’s at the hospital getting treatment right now. He says he’s sorry. Sorry he didn’t end that idiots career tonight, because he could have.

Kazarian talks about being here to call his shot like a man. He mentions his plans to take the TNA World Championship from Joe Hendry at TNA Rebellion 2025. Ethan Page’s theme hits and out he comes. He and Kazarian have words.

Page mentions going to Santino and reveals he’s also in the TNA title tilt. It will be Joe Hendry vs. Ethan Page vs. Frankie Kazarian in a triple-threat match for the TNA World Championship at TNA Rebellion 2025. Kazarian didn’t like this news. TNA Sacrifice notes: Cora Jade, Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson, Nic Nemeth

Notes from Friday’s TNA Sacrifice event.

Cora Jade, who has been out of action since a match was stopped on last week’s NXT, did end up wrestling at Sacrifice, losing to Masha Slamovich in a match for the TNA Knockouts title. Jade had been spending the last several weeks hyping the bout between her and Slamovich, not only on Impact but also on NXT.

Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend, also of NXT, made a surprise appearance following the Knockouts Tag Team title bout. After Ash & Heather by Elegance won the titles from Spitfire (Dani Luna and Jody Threat), the Meta-Girls made their entrance on stage, staring down the new champions.

The main event of Sacrifice was a 10-man tag team steel cage match that saw Nic Nemeth, Matt Hardy, Joe Hendry, Elijah, and Leon Slater defeat The System (JDC, Brian Meyers, and Eddie Edwards) and The Colons. After the match, the show was wrapping up when all of a sudden Nemeth turned on Matt, with Nemeth’s brother Ryan coming in and closing the cage door, preventing the rest of the team from making the save. The two brothers then attacked Matt, bloodying him up to close out the show.
