AJ Styles endorses Fatal Influence’s heel work on WWE SmackDown

AJ Styles gave Fatal Influence the ultimate heel endorsement for their impact within their limited duration on WWE SmackDown.

On the latest episode of the Phenomenally Retro Podcast Styles commended Fatal Influence’s heel work and reactions from fans despite their appearances on two episodes of SmackDown.

“Well, what I like about that group is, they look like the kind of people that would bully my daughter. Yeah. That makes me mad. And so I was like ‘Oh, I was like, they’re doing so good, you know, it’s the opposite how I would feel’ but knowing what they’re doing and how they’re doing their job and they’re doing it well ‘This is it.’ And so I’m like, ‘All right, keep doing what you’re doing. This is good. This is good stuff.’”

Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid officially transitioned to the main roster on the SmackDown after WrestleMania. For Jayne it was a comeback after her participation in the Women’s Tag Team Titles Tournament with Gigi Dolin in August 2022.

Fatal Influence interrupted Paige and Brie Bella’s title defense against Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. Later that night, Jayne confronted Rhea Ripley and faced her in a singles match. The group drew immediate boos from fans with their presence which established themselves as heels.

Last week, Jayne defeated Flair, with some assistance from Reid and Henley, further positioning their stance on the SmackDown roster.

Fatal Influence join WWE SmackDown roster

Fatal Influence made quite the impression on their first night on SmackDown.

Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Lainey Reid all made their presence felt immediately on Friday, attacking Paige, Brie Bella, Alexa Bliss, and Charlotte Flair during a Women’s Tag Team title match. Later in the night, Rhea Ripley came out to talk about her match against Jade Cargill at WrestleMania when the trio interrupted her.

After Jayne, Henley, and Reid introduced themselves, Nick Aldis came out and welcomed the group to SmackDown. He made a match between Jayne and Ripley to take place right then and there. The two wrestled but the match ended in a disqualification when Henley and Reid entered the ring and attacked Ripley, giving Jayne an opening to lay out Ripley with the rolling encore.

Later backstage, Flair and Bliss were being checked on by medical when Ripley walked in, also hurt. She asked Flair if they had a problem. Bliss suggested that they all take on Fatal Influence together, but Flair instead said she would take on Jayne next week, quickly making it clear she wanted nothing to do with Ripley.

Fatal Influence was last seen on week one of WWE NXT Revenge, which saw Lola Vice retain the NXT Women’s Championship over Jayne.

Tag team match added to WWE NXT lineup

On the road to New Year’s Evil, Kendal Grey is set to face off against Fatal Influence in tag team action.

It’s been announced that Grey & Wren Sinclair vs. Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid will take place on NXT this coming Tuesday. The matchup continues the build to Grey challenging Fatal Influence leader Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship at New Year’s Evil 2026.

Grey — the Evolve Women’s Champion and one of NXT’s brightest up-and-coming stars — won the women’s Iron Survivor Challenge match last weekend at NXT Deadline. The victory earned her this upcoming title shot against Jayne on the special New Year’s Evil episode of NXT that’s set for January 6.

Following Deadline, an angle took place on NXT where Fatal Influence beat down Grey and her friend Sinclair.

The updated card for Tuesday’s NXT episode can be seen below:

WWE NXT (Tuesday, December 16) —

  • NXT Championship number one contender’s match: Joe Hendry vs. Myles Borne vs. Leon Slater vs. Dion Lennox (winner challenges Oba Femi at New Year’s Evil)
  • NXT Women’s North American Champion Blake Monroe defends against Thea Hail
  • Kendal Grey & Wren Sinclair vs. Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid)
  • Hank Walker & Tank Ledger vs. Bronco Nima & Lucien Price

New WWE Women’s Speed Champion crowned on NXT Gold Rush night two

A new Women’s Speed Champion has been crowned.

Fallon Henley is the new champion, defeating Zaria at NXT Gold Rush night two which aired on Tuesday. The two initially went the full five minutes, with the bell ringing as they were still wrestling. After the initial confusion, Ava came out and said the match would go into sudden death so a new Speed Champion could be determined.

Towards the end of the match, Zaria went for a spear on the outside but Laney Reid pulled Fallon out of the way, sending Zaria crashing into the steel steps. Back in the ring, Fallon followed with a shining wizard then landed the famouser to capture the vacant Speed Championship.

The title was vacated when Ruca in storyline decided to relinquish it rather than have Zaria defend it for her, as Zaria lost Ruca’s Women’s North American title to Blake Monroe at Halloween Havoc. A tournament was then held to crown a new champion.

At Gold Rush night one, Zaria threw in the towel for Ruca was she was looking to win the North American title back from Monroe, causing further friction between the two friends.

WWE NXT live results: Gold Rush week two

Taped last week at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, the card for tonight’s special includes four title matches — including one where a new champion is guaranteed to be crowned. Kelani Jordan defends her TNA Knockouts Championship in a triple threat match against Jordynne Grace and Lei Ying Lee.

The Evolve brand gets into the Gold Rush mix with its men’s and women’s titles both on the line. Men’s Evolve Champion Jackson Drake is defending against Sean Legacy, while Kendal Grey is putting the women’s Evolve Championship up for grabs against Lainey Reid.

Along with that, Trick Williams and Myles Borne go one-on-one in a grudge match.

Join us for coverage starting at 8 p.m. Eastern.

**********

NXT Gold Rush is on the CW with a taped episode from The Theater at Madison Square Garden.

The show opens with a title match from the WWE ID program. Peter Rosenberg is a guest on commentary as the “Evolve analyst” for the opening match. He joins NXT regulars Vic Joseph and Booker T on commentary.

Jackson Drake (with Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) vs. Sean Legacy for the WWE Evolve Championship

The tag team called Swipe Right are in the corner of the champion.

Sean got several close near falls that wowed the crowd. One included a Spanish Fly of sorts that involved a backflip into a suplex. Drake came back soon thereafter with a guillotine knee drop, followed by a running knee strike Drake calls “The Unaliving”. Drake then hooked a leg and locked his arms for a three count on Legacy. Great opener.

Match result: WWE Evolve Champion Jackson Drake defeated Sean Legacy to retain his title via pinfall.

— NXT North American Champion Ethan Page offers heelish advice to Sol Ruca. In walks Myle Borne to confront Page. This plays on Borne against Trick later, but they also tease another match between Borne and Page.

— Clips from a sit-down interview hype John Cena’s final match on Saturday Night’s Main Event next month.

Zaria vs. Fallon Henley (with Jacy Jayne & Lainey Reid) in the finals of the WWE Women’s Speed Championship Tournament

This match for the vacant Women’s Speed title is the culmination of a tournament that played out over a few weeks on NXT. It also plays to an angle involving Sol Ruca, who vacated the Speed title due to a supposed injury.

They went Broadway after going to a three-minute time limit. Zaria got to shine in the match, and she applied a Texas cloverleaf at one point. However, Henley got a rope break. Henley went for a high cross off the top rope, but Zaria rolled through and deadlifted Henley with 30 seconds remaining in the match.

DDT by Henley counters Zaria for a two count with 15 seconds remaining in the title bout. As the time clock ticks down, Zaria is going for her finisher with Henley in a fireman’s carry.

Out comes NXT General Manager Ava to order the match must continue with sudden death, meaning the first to score a pin or submission wins the match. The show cuts to a commercial break as the match restarts.

Back from the break, Henley is in control as Zaria takes a bump off the ropes. Rings of Saturn applied by Henley, but Zaria escapes the hold. Henley takes a press slam off middle rope, and Zaria fires up.

Zaria spears Henley out of the ring, and gives chase. Zaria goes for a spear on the floor, but she instead collides with the ring steps after Lainey Reid saves Henley. Back in the ring, Henley delivers a shining wizard. Henley follows with a famouser, and she covers Zaria to score a pinfall. Good match. And new…

Match result: Fallon Henley defeated Zaria in a tournament final to win the vacant WWE Speed Championship.

— Shiloh Hill is featured in another vignette where he talks about being a long time wrestling fan. Hill tells a story about playing wresting with his dad, and he broke his dad’s nose. He talks more about his dad, and then Shiloh talks about his missing tooth. He makes a remark about forgetting his wire cutters, and that ends the vignette.

— Booker T ribs Vic Joseph during a plug for the relaunch of the WWE LJN figures.

John Cena picks the men’s Iron Survivor participants

Cena chooses the participants in a pre-taped segment that mixes Cena’s monologue with video clips of those chosen by him.

  • Je’Von Evans
  • Dion Lennox
  • TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater

— TNA President Carlos Silva is on camera sitting front row ringside, alongside Tommy Dreamer, for the next title match on the card.

Kelani Jordan vs. Jordynne Grace vs. Lei Ying Lee in a triple threat match for the TNA Knockouts Championship

While Jordan and Grace have been programmed together as rivals on NXT, this was a big match for Lei Ying Lee (who was formerly Xia Li in NXT).

The title bout goes through a commercial break. Just before cutting to commercials, the defending champ is standing tall. Jordan does an Asai moonsault just before the break. When the show returns from the break, the three wrestlers return to triple threat spots.

Wild Spanish Fly spot by Jordan and Grace, with little room for error. They do some creative spots playing off each other’s strengths. In the closing moments, no water in the pool for Jordan as she misses a 450 splash. Lee is capitalizing on the missed splash when Grace throws her outside. Grace then executes a finisher (Torture Rack turned into a sit-out powerbomb), and Grace goes for a pin. Lee strikes with a flying spin kick, and she covers Jordan for the deciding pinfall. And new…

Clever finish, and apropos for Lee to win her first title on NXT television. She was in tears after putting on the TNA Knockouts title belt.

Match result: Lei Ying Lee defeated TNA Knockouts Champion Kelani Jordan and Jordynne Grace in a triple threat match to win the title when Lee pinned Jordan.

— Fatal Influence is backstage celebrating Henley winning the Speed title. NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne and Lainey Reid are talking up Henley when in walks Ava. The GM announces that Jayne and Henley are barred from ringside tonight when Reid challenges for the Evolve Women’s Championship.

— NXT Champion Ricky Saints sits down with Sarah Schreiber for an interview. Saints talks about facing Oba Femi and the challenge that presents. Saints addresses the doubt he and other feel about his upcoming match against Femi. Saints basically says he will use the doubt and criticism to motivate him in beating Femi again.

Kendal Grey (with Wren Sinclair) vs. Lainey Reid for the WWE Evolve Women’s Championship

The title bout goes through a commercial break. They have a very competitive match, and it was quite good. The style of the match was very different than a typical WWE match, except for a dumb run-in.

Despite being barred from ringside, Reid’s cohorts in Fatal Influence run down to the ring. Jayne and Henley jump on opposite sides of the apron, and the referee is beside himself on what to do. Sinclair decks Henley with a punch, and Henley takes a bump off the apron. Jayne charges towards Grey, only for Grey to sidestep her. Jayne then crashes into Sinclaur, who goes flying off the apron into the arms of Charlie Dempsey. He appeared out of nowhere to catch Sinclair. She screams in celebration of Dempsey’s return. The referee ejects all involved from ringside.

For the finish, Grey counters Reid to execute an avalanche overhead suplex. Grey pulls down straps on her gear like she is hulking up at the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis. Grey then leaps into a flying flatliner, and she covers Reid for a pinfall to retain the Evolve title.

Match result: WWE Evolve Women’s Champion Kendal Grey defeated Lainey Reid via pinfall to retain her title.

— Darkstate are featured in a backstage promo. Dion Lennox, who is wearing a NXT tag team title belt, says he is going for singles gold when he wins the Iron Survivor. Darkstate then leaves in search of Myles Borne.

John Cens picks the Women’s Iron Survivor participants

Similarly to the earlier segment, Cena voices over a video package that mixes his promo with video clips of the participants announced by Cena.

Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge participants at NXT Deadline:

  • Sol Ruca
  • Lola Vice
  • Jordynne Grace
  • Kelani Jordan
  • Kendal Grey

— Announced for next Tuesday on NXT on the go-home episode ahead of Deadline is a summit with the women’s participants.

— Also announced for next Tuesday is Josh Briggs against Tavion Heights in a grudge match a few weeks in the making on NXT.

Trick Williams vs. Myles Borne in an Iron Survivor qualifying match

The main event match goes through a commercial break. The show cuts to commercial after Borne gets a close near fall. They do some clever spots, like a double neck breaker spot at one point late in the match.

The fight spills outside, where Trick delivers his signature flying kick. He goes for another attempted kick, but Borne dodges him. Trick crashes his knee into the ring steps. Borne then follows up by giving Trick a Zig Zag (now called “The Borne Again’) on the floor. Back in the ring for the finish, as Borne executes another Borne Again. Trick had kicked out earlier in the match after a Borne Again, but not this time. Borne hooks a leg and covers Trick for a three count.

Match result: Myles Borne defeated Trick Williams via pinfall to qualify for the Iron Survivor Challenge.

After the match, Borne is celebrating when the arena lights go dark. Spotlights then illuminate the entrance of Darkstate, as they stalk Borne. Darkstate enters through the crowd, and they surround Borne. Borne’s fellow Iron Survivor participants run down to back up Borne. Je’Von Evans, Leon Slater and Joe Hendry join Borne in the ring to face off with Darkstate. Credits roll as the two groups face off. This seems to build up an eight-man tag match for the go-home show next Tuesday.

WWE announces opening match for NXT

WWE has revealed the opening match for tonight’s NXT episode.

A six-woman tag bout will open the show with Tatum Paxley, Izzi Dame & Lola Vice taking on Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid). Paxley, the NXT Women’s Champion, defeated Jayne for the belt at Halloween Havoc and is still feuding with Fatal Influence.

In her title reign, Paxley has promised to be a fighting champion. Her first title defense was against Vice last week. It ended in a no contest after Fatal Influence interrupted and laid out both.

Tonight’s NXT will continue the build to Gold Rush 2025 — a two-week TV special that’s airing on November 18 and November 25. The next NXT PLE is Deadline on December 6.

Here is the updated card for tonight:

WWE NXT (Tuesday, November 4) —

  • WWE Speed Women’s Championship tournament begins
  • Je’Von Evans vs. Saquon Shugars
  • Tatum Paxley, Izzi Dame & Lola Vice vs. Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid)

Positive update on NXT champion after recent injury scare

NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne looks to have avoided serious injury after a scare that took place at a recent house show.

At an NXT live event on October 9, Jayne suffered an apparent leg injury and needed assistance getting backstage. Our Bryan Alvarez reports that Jayne is said to be doing fine, but her Fatal Influence faction mate Fallon Henley could be dealing with an injury.

“So the update on Jacy Jayne is apparently she’s fine,” Alvarez notes. “However Fallon is now injured. They did an assisted Sol Snatcher spot on a house show and it got botched and Sol landed right on Fallon’s head. Hopefully she’s OK and back in action soon, but was told it looked really bad.”

This Tuesday’s pre-taped NXT episode was headlined by Tatum Paxley winning a number one contender’s battle royal to become Jayne’s NXT Women’s Championship challenger for Halloween Havoc. The PLE is being held at Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona on Saturday, October 25.

Following Jazmyn Nyx’s departure from WWE, a new member of Fatal Influence was added this week with Lainey Reid joining Jayne and Henley.

TNA Impact live results: The women of WWE NXT take over

The women of WWE NXT will take over tonight’s TNA Impact from St. Joseph, Missouri.

In the night’s featured match, TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich will team with Xia Brookside and Lei Ying lee against Tessa Blanchard and NXT’s Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx with Fallon Henley in their corner.

After making their presence felt at Sacrifice, NXT’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson will take on former Knockouts Tag Team Champions Spitfire.

Director of Authority Santino Marella will share a special announcement about the future of the Digital Media title.

TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardys will be on hand to have a talk as their Rebellion match against Nick & Ryan Nemeth looms in the distance.

The System will have a public firing after some recent defeats, Frankie Kazarian will take on Elijah in a singles bout, and Mance Warner and Steph De Lander will reveal what’s next in their war with Sami Callihan.

**********
Frankie Kazarian defeated Elijah

The theme for Joe Hendry kicked things off, as the TNA World Champion heads down to the ringside area to join Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on special guest commentary for the first match of the show.

Frankie Kazarian’s entrance tune hits and the self-proclaimed “King of TNA” heads to the ring with his massive Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy in-hand. He settles inside, his music dies down, and the lights go down.

Elijah’s theme hits and out he comes with his trademark guitar over his shoulder. After he gets in the ring, the bell sounds and the first match of the show gets underway. Kazarian hits Elijah with a cheap-shot, but Elijah fights back and does Undertaker’s top-rope-walking “Old-School” spot.

Elijah looked to follow up with his signature piledriver, but Kazarian had it well-scouted and pumped the breaks. Kazarian slides out to the floor, but Elijah comes out after him. Kazarian ends up sending him face-first into the steel ring post.

Kazarian comes over and taunts Hendry, even slapping his headset nearly off his head. Hendry stands up and gets in his face. Hendry gets shoved into Elijah. Back in the ring seconds later, Kazarian rolls Elijah up and gets a handful of jeans to score the cheap pin.

After the bell sounds to end the match, Hendry hits the ring like a madman and tackles Kazarian down to the mat. He ground-and-pounds away until a ton of security guards hit the ring and break them up. They get free and the fight is on again. Elijah breaks it up.

The show went to a commercial break afterwards. When the show returned, Hendry was being checked by a TNA medic backstage about a potential arm injury. The medic, fearing a tear, insisted that Hendry go to get X-rays.

The System’s Bond Is Strong As Ever

Back inside the Impact Zone, Hannifan sets the stage on commentary for the next segment after showing video footage of Eddie Edwards talking to each member of The System last week. In the ring, Edwards brings it up himself and then tells every member of The System to come out.

The System theme hits and out comes Eddie’s wife, Alisha Edwards, as well as his tag-team partner Brian Myers, and fellow members Moose and JDC. He starts with JDC, saying he has known him longer than anyone, including his wife.

Edwards says he knows JDC is sick of losing. He wants him to tell him to his face if he’s in or out. JDC tells the fans to shut up and insists he’s in. The two hug. Edwards gives JDC his System ring. He moves on to his partner, Myers. He asks him the same. “Let’s finish what we started … I’m in!” he responds.

Eddie Edwards then moves on to his wife. He says he knows she doesn’t want to hang around losers. He asks her the same. She responds, as always, “Do you wanna know something?” She follows up, “I love you, I’m in.”

Last, but not least, Edwards approaches TNA X-Division Champion Moose in the corner. Fans start chanting Moose’s name. He asks if he’s in or not. Before Moose can respond, the theme for Cody Deaner interrupts them.

He says he’s been waiting all week to see someone get fired. He tries luring Moose into letting the fans decide, hoping he’ll leave The System, but in the end, gets beat down by all of them and left laying.

The Meta Girls (Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend) defeated Spitfire (Jody Threat & Dani Luna)

Backstage, Xia Brookside, Lei Ying Lee and TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich are with Gia Miller. They preview tonight’s match against Tessa Blanchard, Jacy Jane and Jazmyn Nyx. The show heads to another commercial break.

When the show returns, Santino Marella informs Moose that Matt Cardona and Leon Slater are the first two official participants for the Ultimate X match for the X-Division Championship at TNA Rebellion 2025. The System are told they’ll all be in matches on next week’s Impact.

Inside the Impact Zone, Spitfire duo Jody Threat and Dani Luna make their way to the ring, as do their opponents, Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, the latter of whom receive loud “NXT! NXT!” chants from the fans in attendance.

In the early goings, the NXT duo overpower the former TNA Knockouts Champions. Threat ends up isolated in the ring for a prolonged period of time, with Jackson and Legend tagging in and out frequently to keep a fresh person on her at all times.

Threat starts fighting back, hitting Legend and Jackson over-and-over again by herself. Legend goes for a big shot but accidentally blasts Jackson and lays her out. Threat catches Legend with a big boot in the corner, but then leaps into Legend’s arms. Legend and Jackson hit the MKO for the win.

The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) defeated The Great Hands (John Skyler & Jason Hotch)

Backstage, Mike Santana introduces Derek to TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella and walks off. Santino tells Derek he’ll show him around. Hannifan and Rehwoldt promote Santino’s “groundbreaking announcement” for later, and the show heads into another commercial break.

When the show returns, the iconic theme for The Hardys plays and out comes TNA World Tag-Team Champions Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy. Matt starts, addressing the attack he endured at the hands of Nic Nemeth. He shows a scar he suffered that scared his children and vows revenge.

Hardy even does some soft teases for a BROKEN Matt Hardy return with references to “BROKEN” and “DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!” Jeff Hardy laughs off The Nemeths’ claim of being the best brother duo in wrestling history.

The Hardys end up getting interrupted by The Great Hands duo of John Skyler and Jason Hotch, who come out to the ring with Tasha Steelz. After the two teams have words, Santino Marella comes out and makes a match between them.

The show heads to a commercial break, with the impromptu tag bout waiting on the other side. When the show returns, the bell sounds to start off the non-title bout. Steelz is on commentary with Hannifan and Rehwoldt. Matt starts off for his team and jumps into an early offensive lead.

After some more back-and-forth action, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break. When the show returns, after enjoying a few minutes in the offensive lead, The Great Hands find themselves back on the defensive after Jeff gets the hot tag, which leads to The Hardys scoring the pin.

Joe Hendry Medical Update

Backstage, Ryan Nemeth is getting under the skin of Leon Slater. This leads to some physicality, which several rush to the scene to break-up before it gets too far out of hand. Santino Marella enters the picture and makes a match between the two for next week.

The show heads to another commercial break on that note. When it returns, Gia Miler is backstage with the TNA lead doctor, who gives a medical update on the injury status of TNA World Champion Joe Hendry.

The doctor reveals that Hendry suffered a grade three severe sprain on his rotator cuff, which they mention is a bad injury. When asked about his status for TNA Rebellion 2025, it’s stated that it’s up in the air, while pointing out that Hendry is the champion and as tough as anyone who could fight through it.

Santino Marella Makes His “Groundbreaking Announcement”

Back inside the Impact Zone, TNA Digital Media Champion(s) Mance Warner and Steph De Lander make their way out to the top of the stage. They boast about being the champion(s) and talk about how in love they are, while also bragging about being on magazine covers.

Santino Marella’s theme cuts them off. He tells them they’ve never earned the TNA Digital Media Championship. He says he is taking the title. At TNA Unbreakable 2025, a tournament will be held to crown the first-ever TNA International Champion.

He says the tournament is a tribute to TNA Unbreakable 2005, where AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe vs. Christopher Daniels took place for the TNA X-Division Championship. As a tribute to it, every match in the tournament will be a three-way match.

As Santino demands Warner and De Lander to hand over the TNA Digital Media Championship, as they are refusing to do so, out of nowhere Warner is attacked behind with a baseball bat by Sami Callihan. Callihan then launches Warner off the stage and through a table.

He then picks up the TNA Digital Media Championship and hands it to Santino. He walks off as Hannifan drives home the significance of the groundbreaking announcement regarding the TNA International Championship.

Mustafa Ali Bullies Derek

The show heads to another commercial break after Derek is told Mustafa Ali wants a word with him. When the show returns, Ali talks to Derek about being an addict as a way of getting to Mike Santana once again.

He gives him drugs and says he’s an addict, so he’ll ruin himself. Later in the show, Santana catches up with him and he’s high.

George Iceman Has Sights Set On Maggie Lee

Backstage, George Iceman and Heather By Elegance talk about Ash By Elegance being on vacation. Santino mentions having his eye on someone, who he says is Maggie Lee. He’s got some ideas. He and Heather go off to have a drink and talk about them.

TNA International Title Tourney Match, Another Ultimate X Participant

Santino Marella announces the first round TNA International Championship tournament match for TNA Unbreakable, which will feature Eddie Edwards vs. Ace Austin vs. Steve Maclin.

El Del Vikingo is also announced for the TNA X-Division Championship Ultimate X match at TNA Rebellion 2025.

Tessa Blanchard, Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx (w/ Fallon Henley) defeated Masha Slamovich, Xia Brookside & Lei Ying Lee

It’s main event (match) time!

After the rapid-fire, back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back announcement segments, the show settles back inside the Impact Zone where the first team in the six-Knockouts tag-team main event make their way out to the ring.

TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich, Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee make their respective ring walks. Their opponents, Tessa Blanchard, and her partners from NXT’s Fatal Influence, Jacy Jane and Jazmyn Nyx, make their way out accompanied by Fallon Henley.

The bell sounds and things get officially off-and-running with Slamovich and Blanchard representing their respective teams. Slamovich runs wild on Blanchard, Hulkamania-style, straight out of the gate. As the action spills to the floor, the show shifts gears and heads into a mid-match commercial break.

When the show returns, the match continues in progress, as we see Rosemary watching on from in the middle of the crowd. All hell breaks loose with all six in the ring, culminating with Slamovich about to hit her finisher, only for Blanchard to strike from behind. Blanchard connected with her Buzzsaw finisher for the win.

TNA Rebellion 2025 Main Event Announced

It’s main event (segment) time!

But first, Santino Marella is shown backstage with the big gold tumbler. He is ready to randomly pick the next three men who will compete in the second officially announced triple-threat opening round match in the TNA International Championship Tournament at TNA Unbreakable 2025.

It will be Sami Callihan vs. Eric Young vs. JDC. After this, we see a shot of the Call Your Shot trophy. Frankie Kazarian picks it up and Hannifan and Rehwoldt mention the news regarding Joe Hendry’s opponent for his TNA World Championship defense at TNA Rebellion 2025 coming up next.

On that note, the show settles into the final commercial break of the evening. When the show returns, Santino Marella reveals Zachary Wentz vs. Mance Warner vs. AJ Francis in the third triple-threat qualifying match for the TNA International Championship at TNA Unbreakable 2025.

Sami Callihan comes in and demands to be put in the match. He tells Santino he’s not gonna like what he does if he doesn’t get his hands on Warner. Santino tells him okay. It’s now Callihan vs. Warner vs. Francis. The other match is now Wentz vs. Young vs. JDC. We then get the matches for next week’s show (see below).

Frankie Kazarian’s theme hits inside the Impact Zone and out he comes to the ring. He gets on the microphone and mentions Joe Hendry suffering an injury. He says he’s at the hospital getting treatment right now. He says he’s sorry. Sorry he didn’t end that idiots career tonight, because he could have.

Kazarian talks about being here to call his shot like a man. He mentions his plans to take the TNA World Championship from Joe Hendry at TNA Rebellion 2025. Ethan Page’s theme hits and out he comes. He and Kazarian have words.

Page mentions going to Santino and reveals he’s also in the TNA title tilt. It will be Joe Hendry vs. Ethan Page vs. Frankie Kazarian in a triple-threat match for the TNA World Championship at TNA Rebellion 2025. Kazarian didn’t like this news. Kazarian goes for a cheap shot, but Page ends up laying him out. The show wraps up on that note.

Next Week On TNA Impact (4/10/2025):
* Steve Maclin vs. Eddie Edwards
* Mustafa Ali vs. Ace Austin

WWE NXT live results: Two Stephanie Vaquer title defenses

Stephanie Vaquer has a big night ahead of her on WWE NXT, as she works double duty as a dual champion.

Two weeks after defeating Giulia to become a double champion, Vaquer will defend both of her belts in separate matches tonight.

Vaquer is set to make her first NXT Women’s Championship defense in a matchup against Jaida Parker. Plus, Vaquer puts the NXT Women’s North American title up for grabs against former champion Fallon Henley.

Vaquer dethroned Henley for the Women’s North American title belt back in February. She then added the NXT Women’s Championship to her collection by defeating Giulia at Roadblock.

Another championship bout is scheduled for tonight with Je’Von Evans challenging Lexis King for the Heritage Cup. A victory would kick off the first title reign of Evans’ WWE career.

NXT Stand & Deliver 2025 is fast approaching with WrestleMania weekend now under a month away. We’ll see if any matches get confirmed for the Stand & Deliver card tonight.

Join us for live coverage starting at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

**********

The first of three title matches opens the show on tonight’s televised card. The title bout is also the first defense by Stephanie Vaquer of her newly won NXT Women’s Championship, while also being the first of two title defenses for Vaquer on this episode of NXT.

NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer defeated Jaida Parker to retain her title

Vaquer pinned Parker with a wheelbarrow victory roll, after a distraction by Jordynne Grace. The Fatal Influence trio jumped Vaquer after the match.

They wrestled through the first commercial break on the show. This was a good opener and a competitive match. Despite losing by pinfall, Parker gets to save some face because of the distraction by Grace.

Last week Parker jumped Grace, so Grace has a reason for vengeance. However, costing Parker the title because of a distraction seems heelish. But whatever. Parker and Grace had to be held apart by officials at ringside. That apparently kept the officials unable to stop the post-match run-in.

Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx) jump Vaquer after the match. The heel trio lays out Vaquer and stands over her. Later in the show, Vaquer is set to defend a title against Henley.

A couple backstage skits lead us into, and back from, a commercial break. In one skit, Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans have a tense dialogue in a locker room. Trick again insults Evans.

Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson argue with Gigi Dolan & Tatum Paxley in the women’s locker room. NXT General Manager Ava enters to help settle the dispute. Hopefully that involves a match to settle the score.

Ricky Saints joins Vic Joseph for a sit-down interview, which was interrupted and crashed by NXT North American Champion Shawn Spears. The acting by Saints was fantastic here, instead of the usual campy nature of the backstage skits on the show.

The interview starts off with Saints talking about his arrive to NXT and other perception of him, but they are soon interrupted by Spears. Joseph is run off by Spears, and Spears takes over the interview with Saints. This allowed Saints to shine, as his acting was very good.

Saints goes back-and-forth with Spears as they trade verbal jabs. Spears brings up their past, which included some references that were very inside baseball. The rest of The Culling appear at the end of the segment, as Spears issues a warning to Saints. Great segment. This appears to be Saints next program, and for a title no less.

Wes Lee is watching on a monitor backstage with Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont. They soon head towards Gorilla, as they have a tag match up next.

Hank Walker & Tank Ledger are also headed to the ring. In a cameo, they run into the Motor City Machine Guns. Hank & Tank are offered some encouraging words from MCMG.

Tyriek Igwe & Tyson Dupont (with Wes Lee) defeated Hank Walker & Tank Ledger

Dupont pinned Walker clean to win the match after a double team finisher. Dupont & Ledger got a dominate win, as Hank & Tank remain underdogs.

GM Ava checks on Stephanie Vaquer in the trainer’s room, and Vaquers vows to defend both titles tonight.

NXT Heritage Cup Champion Lexis King defeated Je’Von Evans via count-out to retain the title

Second cheap finish in a title match on this show. The earlier title bout had a distraction, and this match featured blatant interference by NXT Champion Oba Femi. He powerbombed Evans on the ring apron, and Evans could not answer the 10 count.

The match was plenty good, and they were even plenty of time as it went through a commercial break. But again, the finish was a cheap way out. The heat is supposed to go on Femi I guess, but it was still a lame finish. The post-match angle sort of made up for the finish.

Dark State teases a run-in, complete with a light show. Very kind of them to give Dark State a light show, considering Dark State are invaders and all. Why they are here, who knows? They are there, but they just glare at the ring.

Evans starts brawling with Femi in the ring. Trick Willaims runs down to make a save.Trick and Femi a have a great pull-apart showdown, but not before Trick inadvertently hits Evans with a flying knee strike. Meanwhile, Dark State looks on.

Gigi Dolan & Tatum Paxley defeated Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson

Paxley pinned Jackson after Cemetery Drive , which is the name of the double team finisher from Dolan & Paxley. They are set to challenge for the TNA Knockouts tag teal titles on an upcoming episode of Impact, so they went over strong here.

Tony D’Angelo is sitting down with The Family in a vignette. This was like something out of The Sopranos. D’Angelo asks Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo if he is good. Stacks says he is indeed good except for the situation with Dark State.

D’Angelo asks Stacks if he can trust him. Stacks tells “T” that he can always trust him. A stone face “Don” stares into the distance as Stacks leaves the room.

Ethan Page defeated Andre Chase (with Kale Dixon & Uriah Connors)

Before the match, Ricky Saints blows past Page on his way to the announce desk for guest commentary. The actual match itself was set up with a locker room skit where Chase sticks up for Dixon when Page tries to bully him.

Page pinned Chase clean after a Twist of Fate. Just before that, Chase kicked out after a super powerslam. Chase fought valiantly, but Chase delivers “Twisted Grin” before scoring the deciding pinfall. They had a long match that was good for the most part.

Saints has words with Page after the match, after Page eggs it on. Suddenly, Shawn Spears ambushes Saints. The rest of The Culling then move in to stand over Saints, who is laid out at ringside by Spears. This angle sets up a North American title match for next week with Spears defending against Saints.

Dark State cuts a promo that was originally uploaded to social media.

A fired up Trick Williams cuts a promo on Oba Femi, but Trick comments on Je’Von Evans. Trick refers to the knee strikes on Evans as “collateral damage”, and Trick calls Evans a “distraction” from Trick’s goal of regaining the NXT title.

Trick also cuts a promo on Femi, saying Femi knows where to find him next week. Trick is asked about Dark State, and Trick says that is none of his business.

NXT Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer defeated Fallon Henley (with Fatal Influence) to retain the title

Vaquer pinned Henley after interference from Nyz backfires on the heels. Really good match. Henley should be on the main roster. The trio of Fatal Influence jumps Vaquer after the match, and Jordynne Grace runs down to make a save. Jaida Parker also runs in to brawl with Grace.

Parker shoves Grace into Vaquer, after Grace and Vaquer had a mild tug-o-war over the NXT title belt. Grace brawls with Parker, and Grace sends Parker outside the ring. Vaquer then spins Grace around for a face-to-face stare down.

Fatal Influence segment set for WWE NXT

A new segment has been announced for tomorrow’s edition of WWE NXT.

Fallon Henley wins Women’s North American title at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc

Fallon Henley is the new Women’s North American Champion.

Henley defeated Kelani Jordan in what turned out to be a gauntlet match where Jordan had to face all three members of Fatal Influence. Jordan first defeated Jazmyn Nyx, then defeated Jacy Jayne. However, both interfered near the finish of Jordan’s match against Henley, which allowed Henley to counter a 450 splash and connect with a shining wizard to win the Women’s North American title.

After the match, members of Fatal Influence stood in the ring as Henley said a statement had been made. However, the lights went out as Zaria’s music played. As all three women dared her to come out, it was revealed she was behind them. Zaria proceeded to lay out all three members of Fatal Influence, standing tall as the segment ended.

Fatal Influence had been targeting Jordan in recent weeks, jealous that a “rookie” like her was champion. On the go-home show for Halloween Havoc, Henley spun the Halloween Havoc wheel to determine Fatal Influence’s match against Jordan, landing on ‘spinner’s choice’. It was announced before the start of Halloween Havoc that the team had decided on a gauntlet match.

Jordan was the first Women’s North American Champion, having won a ladder match back at Battleground on June 9.

Six-woman tag match added to WWE NXT Great American Bash week one

A new match announcement has been made for WWE NXT Great American Bash 2024.

Sol Ruca, Karmen Petrovic & Lola Vice will team up against the mean girl trio of Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx on NXT this Tuesday night. The episode is week one of NXT’s two-week Great American Bash special. Due to the Olympics, both Great American Bash episodes are airing on Syfy instead of USA Network.

Over the weekend, the heels posted a social media promo mocking Ruca & Petrovic for being a makeshift tag team of rookies. Henley & Jayne also complained about Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson getting a WWE Women’s Tag Team title shot. Henley, Jayne & Nyx threatened to take matters into their own hands

Legend & Jackson are challenging Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn for the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles at Great American Bash week one. Here’s the updated lineup for the episode:

Sol Ruca match announced for WWE NXT

After drawing praise for her performance at Heatwave, Sol Ruca will be in action on WWE NXT this Tuesday night.

WWE has announced that Ruca vs. Fallon Henley will take place on NXT this week. The match was set up by Henley mocking Ruca on social media after her loss to NXT Women’s North American Champion Kelani Jordan at Heatwave.

“I think a round of applause is in order for Sol Ruca — for biggest waste of a title shot opportunity of the year here in NXT,” Henley said. “Because we all know that it should have been me in that spot. And had it been me, we would have been hearing ‘And new.’ So Kelani Jordan, enjoy your little title reign while it lasts. Because it won’t be lasting much longer.”

Jordan was crowned the inaugural Women’s North American Champion at Battleground last month. She’s made two title defenses since then, defeating Michin on NXT TV and Ruca at Heatwave.

Jordan and Ruca both showed off their acrobatics and athleticism at Heatwave. Ricochet tweeted that it looked like the female version of him vs. Will Ospray.

Here’s the updated card for Tuesday’s NXT episode:

  • Fallout from Heatwave
  • Heritage Cup Champion Tony D’Angelo defends against Lexis King
  • Karmen Petrovic vs. Arianna Grace
  • Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. OTM (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price)
  • Gallus vs. Tyson Dupont & Tyriek Igwe
  • Wes Lee addresses his future
  • Brooks Jensen sits down with NXT General Manager Ava
  • Sol Ruca vs. Fallon Henley

Fallon Henley defeats Tiffany Stratton in WWE NXT ranch hand stipulation match

Tiffany Stratton must serve as Fallon Henley’s ranch hand for a day following the results of WWE NXT New Year’s Evil.

Henley defeated Stratton on Tuesday’s New Year’s Evil special episode of NXT in a ranch hand or servant for a day stipulation match, and Stratton will now do Henley’s bidding on the ranch.

The Stratton vs. Henley feud kicked off in October at Halloween Havoc when Henley dressed as Stratton for a Halloween costume battle royal, then mocked Stratton in a backstage promo segment.

The issues between the two continued in the lead-up to NXT Deadline in November when Stratton defeated Henley in an Iron Survivor Challenge qualifying match. Henley would still end up qualifying for the Iron Survivor Challenge at Deadline after winning a last chance four-way.

Henley was also victorious in a follow-up singles bout on the December 19 NXT episode, leading to a backstage promo from Stratton where she proposed the servant for a day stipulation bout.

Stratton is a former NXT Women’s Champion, while Henley once held the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles with Kiana James.

Tiffany Stratton challenges Fallon Henley to stipulation match at WWE NXT New Year’s Evil

Tiffany Stratton has issued a challenge to Fallon Henley.

On Tuesday’s NXT, Stratton called Fallon Henley trash, saying she’d never go to her bar and probably has spent her entire life serving people. Stratton then challenged Henley to a match at New Year’s Evil on January 2, saying that if she wins, Henley would have to become her servant.

Tuesday’s show opened with Stratton facing Henley in a match, the two having feuded for the last several weeks. Henley won the match with a roll-up. Immediately after the bell rang, Stratton jumped Henley, the two brawling to the back where Stratton grabbed a trash can and dumped the contents on Henley, who was laying on the floor.

Later, Henley met Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs backstage, saying she was embarrassed and wasn’t done with Stratton.

Two title matches are set for NXT New Year’s Evil. Lyra Valkyria will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Blair Davenport, while Ilja Dragunov will defend the NXT Championship against Trick Williams.
