TNA Sacrifice notes: Cora Jade, Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson, Nic Nemeth

Notes from Friday’s TNA Sacrifice event.

Cora Jade, who has been out of action since a match was stopped on last week’s NXT, did end up wrestling at Sacrifice, losing to Masha Slamovich in a match for the TNA Knockouts title. Jade had been spending the last several weeks hyping the bout between her and Slamovich, not only on Impact but also on NXT.

Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend, also of NXT, made a surprise appearance following the Knockouts Tag Team title bout. After Ash & Heather by Elegance won the titles from Spitfire (Dani Luna and Jody Threat), the Meta-Girls made their entrance on stage, staring down the new champions.

The main event of Sacrifice was a 10-man tag team steel cage match that saw Nic Nemeth, Matt Hardy, Joe Hendry, Elijah, and Leon Slater defeat The System (JDC, Brian Meyers, and Eddie Edwards) and The Colons. After the match, the show was wrapping up when all of a sudden Nemeth turned on Matt, with Nemeth’s brother Ryan coming in and closing the cage door, preventing the rest of the team from making the save. The two brothers then attacked Matt, bloodying him up to close out the show.

Ash & Heather by Elegance win Knockouts Tag Team titles at TNA Sacrifice

New Knockouts Tag Team Champions were crowned on Friday.

At TNA Sacrifice, Ash & Heather by Elegance defeated Spitfire (Dani Luna & Jody Threat) in a 2 on 3 match that also involved the Elegance team’s concierge, George Iceman. He played into the finish as he was hit with the Pressure Drop by Spitfire. However, that allowed the Elegance team to get back into the ring and took out Threat with a double stomp to pick up and the win and the titles for the first time.

After the match, the three were celebrating when suddenly NXT’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson showed up on stage, staring down the new champions.

Threat & Luna had held the titles for 183 days, defeating The Malisha (Alisha Edwards & Masha Slamovich) to win the titles for a second time.

Recently Ash & Heather by Elegance lost to Spitfire on an episode of Impact, causing the two to become Luna & Threat’s concierge for a day. After walking dogs, getting makeovers, and being forced to train with the champions they were eventually rescued by Iceman disguised as a janitor. On the following Impact, TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella made the 2 on 3 match for Sacrifice.

Mustafa Ali vs. Mike Santana added to TNA Sacrifice

Rivals Mustafa Ali and Mike Santana are set to do battle later this month.

TNA Wrestling has added Ali vs. Santana to the card for Sacrifice 2025, which is taking place from El Paso, Texas on Friday, March 14. The show is a live TNA+ special.

Things have gotten personal with the heel Ali playing mind games with Santana on Impact in recent weeks. Santana — who is now two years sober — was attending an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in one segment when Ali interrupted it to prod him. Santana kept his cool, but Ali interrupted him again the following week with a video accusing Santana of falling off the wagon.

Ali plays a heel politician in TNA and is aligned with John Skyler, Jason Hotch & Tasha Steelz. Santana vs. Skyler is airing on TNA Impact this Thursday.

Santana is on a journey hoping to become TNA World Champion — a title that is held by Joe Hendry at the moment.

Here is the updated Sacrifice card:

  • TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich defends against Cora Jade
  • Joe Hendry, Matt Hardy, Elijah, TBA & TBA vs. Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, JDC, Epico Colon & Primo Colon
  • Ladder match: TNA X-Division Champion Moose defends against Jeff Hardy
