The pre-show features Frankie Kazarian against KUSHIDA, and PCO taking on a mystery “monster” supplied by Matt Cardona.

**********
Frankie Kazarian defeated KUSHIDA

“The King of TNA” Frankie Kazarian heads to the ring to kick off the Countdown to Emergence in the opening match of the evening. He makes a member of the ringside crew get on all fours so he can step on him to get into the ring.

“The Time Splitter” KUSHIDA heads out next to a good pop from the Louisville crowd, which begin chanting his name before the match begins. The bell sounds and things get started with Kazarian immediately stepping through the ropes to avoid the action.

Kazarian orders the ring announcer to formally introduce him as “The King of TNA.” KUSHIDA drills Kazarian with rapid-fire forearms and hits a splash off the ropes. He hits a hurricanrana to send Kazarian out to the floor to re-group.

He doesn’t get to do much re-grouping before KUSHIDA hits a kick through the ropes that launches Kazarian into the barricade. He follows up with a running knee off the apron onto Kazarian on the floor. Back in the ring, KUSHIDA decks Kazarian and covers him for a two-count.

Kazarian fights back, and connects with a short clothesline to shift the offensive momentum in his favor. He stops to taunt the crowd before going back to work on KUSHIDA. He hits a power slam and a slingshot leg-drop before stopping to taunt the crowd some more.

KUSHIDA begins no-selling some punches and pushing his forehead into Kazarian, but Kazarian sends him into the corner with authority and continues to work him over. KUSHIDA fights back with an attempted Hoover Board Lock, but Kazarian avoids it and locks in a Chicken Wing of his own.

KUSHIDA escapes, but Kazarian gets him back in it again. Once again he escapes, and this time connects with a Tanaka punch. KUSHIDA goes for the Hoover Board Lock while he and Kazarian are on the top-rope. Kazarian fights his way free and hops down on the floor.

KUSHIDA splashes on Kazarian from the top-rope to the floor and slaps a straight armbar on him at ringside. Kazarian hits a low blow to KUSHIDA through the ropes while the referee was distracted. Kazarian follows up with Fade To Black for the win.

AJ Francis & KC Navarro To Challenge For Tag-Team Titles Tonight

We shoot to Gia Miller backstage with AJ Francis. Francis is asked who will be replacing injured Rich Swann to take on ABC for the TNA Tag-Team Championships. KC Navarro comes into the picture and is revealed as his partner for the bout, which Santino Marella has confirmed for the show.

PCO (c) defeated Shera to retain the TNA Digital Media & International Heavyweight Championships

After we return inside the Impact Zone, “The Indian Lion” Shera is revealed to be PCO’s “Mystery Monster” for the title tilt against the TNA Digital Media & International Heavyweight Champion. PCO comes out next and starts the fight while still being introduced.

The two brawl on the floor near Steph De Lander, who is at ringside with “The French-Canadian Frankenstein.” He lays out Shera on the apron and comes off the top with a swanton on the way to the floor. Ouch. He and De Lander stop for an air-dry-hump that pops the crowd.

Back in the ring, with Shera laid out, PCO heads to the top-rope backwards. He leaps off with his PCO-sault for the pinfall victory. De Lander joins PCO in the ring with his two titles belts and the newlyweds celebrate his big win.

Zachary Wentz defeated “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Hammerstone, Jason Hotch, Laredo Kid and Riley Osborne to capture the TNA X-Division Championship

After the cold open video package wraps up, we shoot back inside the sold out building in Louisville, KY., where Hannifan and Rehwoldt begin introducing the competitors for our opening match. Kicking things off is the Ultimate X match for the TNA X-Division Championship.

The X-Factors graphic flashes on the screen and then the bell sounds to get things started. Hotch tries climbing immediately, but gets thrown to the floor by Hammerstone. Everyone gangs up on him, and he slides out of the ring. Osborne dives out to the floor and seemed to have an awkward landing.

Laredo Kid and Hotch hit crazy dives after that. He climbs to the top rope, but Hammerstone pushes him out to the floor with authority. Bailey hits rapid-fire kicks on Hammerstone, but Hammerstone hits a back suplex that folds him in half. He tries diving to Hammerstone on the floor, but Hammerstone catches him and slams him back into the ring.

Osborne flips over three of the guys and hits a tower power bomb spot to the floor. Crazy. Wentz hits a top-rope cutter to Osborne off the very tip-top-rope. Ouch. Wentz and Bailey climb up past the top-rope, getting close to the wire. Bailey gets kicked off and moonsaults onto a pile of bodies on the floor.

Wentz gets on the cables and Spiderman climbs towards the title. They monkey-bar kick each other off as everyone else ends up there as well. Hammerstone is left alone up there but ends up falling off himself. Fans chant “This is Awesome!” Bailey and Wentz trade super kicks.

Hammerstone throws them both to the floor. He tosses Osborne out as well. Laredo goes to the cables, but Hammerstone military presses him out to a pile of bodies on the floor. Hotch hits a low blow on Hammerstone. He hits a torture rack bomb to the big boy.

Laredo and Hotch head to the top-rope. Laredo jumps up and grabs the cables with his hands and leaps into a hurricanrana to Hotch off the top. Osborne gets up to the cables and hits a shooting star press off of it. Bailey hits the Ultimo Weapon off the ropes.

Wentz and Bailey hang onto the cable with their hands and legs, Spiderman style, and then hang by their legs and trade shots with their hands right next to the X-Division Championship. Bailey switches to a hand grip and Wentz knocks him off. Wentz unhooks the title. We have a new champion. Great match.

Steve Maclin defeated Eric Young

After Gia Miller interviews Josh Alexander about the Iron Man match backstage, we return inside the Impact Zone where Steve Maclin heads to the ring. Eric Young comes out next to a big pop and the two stare each other down as the bell sounds to get our next match started.

Fans chant “Holy sh*t!” before they do anything. They finally get physical, but stop and do another long glare at each other. Maclin starts to settle into the early offensive lead when things really get going. He hits a big back-breaker and then hangs Young upside down in the tree of woe in the corner.

Maclin backs up and charges forward with a spear that knocks Young down. He covers him, but only gets a count of two. The two start trading shots in the center of the ring. Young dares Maclin and Maclin hits him with looked like a super stiff shot that knocked Young half-way across the ring.

Maclin yells at Young that he asked for this. Young smiles and struggles back to his feet. Maclin puts his hands behind his back and lets Young have a cheap shot. Young knocks the hell out of him with a Stiffy LaRoux as well. The two end up in another wild striking exchange.

Maclin goes for a dive onto Young on the floor but Young ducks and Maclin crashes and burns hard on the ramp. They both head to the top. Young bites Maclin and throws him down. He hits a big flying elbow smash. He looks for a piledriver, but Maclin avoids it.

He tries it again and this time gets it. He covers him, but only gets two. Fans chant “One more time!” Young puts Maclin in position to do so, but Maclin reverses and covers Young and surprises him with a 1–2-3. Maclin gets the win seemingly out of nowhere. Were the fans in on that finish?!? Organic! The two shake hands after the match.

Jordynne Grace, Jody Threat & Dani Luna defeated Ash By Elegance, Masha Slamovich & Alisha Edwards

Nic Nemeth talks to Gia Miller backstage about stealing championships and girlfriends over the years. He talks about Josh Alexander winning the only Iron Man match in TNA. He says at the end of the day, he’s coming out on top tonight.

Back inside the Impact Zone, Masha Slamovich makes her way out. Her MAlisha tag-team partner, Alisha Edwards, comes out next. Ash By Elegance, accompanied by George Iceman, comes out after they do and the first team is settled in the ring for the next match of the show.

Spitfire duo Jody Threat and Dani Luna come out together next for the opposition, They settle in the ring and then the familiar sounds of Jordynne Grace’s theme hits to bring out “The Juggernaut.” The crowd gives the TNA Knockouts Champion a good pop coming out.

Upon the bell, all six square off and stare each other down, before quickly engaging in a wild striking exchange in three pairs of two. Grace sends Threat onto a pile of bodies on the floor, and then does the same with Luna. Grace waits for them to get up, but Alisha seems lifeless.

They all move over to the other side of the ring, and it seems like something not good is happening. Hannifan informs us on commentary that a ringside doctor is checking on Edwards now. Meanwhile, Grace and Ash go to work in the ring. A camera shot is shown of Edwards looking legitimately knocked out on the floor. Yikes.

Grace hits a big back-fist on Masha and hits a Samoa Joe-style Muscle Buster, the same move that won her the Match By Elegance bout on the go-home Impact last night. She goes for the cover, but only gets two. Alisha was helped to the back by Tommy Dreamer and TNA officials.

Moments later, Grace hits a big airplane spin and then an assisted suplex spot. Spitfire hits the ring and helps finish things up, getting the win. After the match, they throw Ash By Elegane out to the floor and celebrate in the ring.

ABC (c) defeated AJ Francis & KC Navarro to retain the TNA Tag-Team Championships

Backstage, Steph De Lander is with PCO. She announces she will be confronting Matt Cardona on Thursday’s Impact.

Inside the arena, First Class duo AJ Francis and KC Navarro make their way out for their big TNA Tag-Team Championship opportunity. The reigning champs, ABC duo Chris Bey and Ace Austin, come out next. The bell sounds and Francis and Austin kick things off for their respective teams.

Francis calls for a test of strength with Austin, with the joke being Austin likely can’t reach his hand. Austin steps to him and appears to be preparing his hand to reach up high, but instead slaps the taste out of Francis’ mouth. He angers the big man, who pummels Austin until he tags Bey in.

Bey struggles with the larger Francis at first as well. Navarro tags in and begins using his speed and high-flying style to get the crowd on its’ feet. Bey hits a back-breaker into a clothesline for a two-count. He tags in Austin and ABC hit a double arm-drag and another double-team spot for a two-count.

Navarro is knocked out to the floor, but Francis catches him. He goes for the Down Payment on Bey on the ring apron, but Bey ends up on his feet. In the ring, fans immediately start dogging Francis with loud “You can’t wrestle!” chants. Navarro and Austin tag in and mix it up.

Francis tries getting involved from the floor, and eats a kick from Austin on the apron for his efforts. Austin hits a brainbuster on Navarro and catches Francis coming in with a big kick. He tries to hoist Francis up, but collapses under the weight of Francis.

He tries again and this time gets him up and dumps him down. He slams Navarro down and covers him, but only gets two. Bey tags in and he and Austin hit a wild double-team move off the ropes. They try for the cover, but Francis breaks it up.

They try to double-suplex Francis, but Francis double-suplexes them instead. Fans get on Francis’ case again with a loud “You can’t wrestle!” chant. Another group of fans respond with “Yes he can!” chants. Very defensive people in ol’ Louisville.

Francis hits a huge Down Payment on Bey and goes for the cover, but doesn’t realize he’s not the legal man due to Navarro tagging himself in moments earlier. Navarro hits a big spot on Austin but Bey, who was the legal man for ABC and was playing possum, pops up and rolls him up for the win.

Moose, Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards & JDC defeated Joe Hendry, Mike Santana, Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy

The pre-match video package airs to get us ready for Joe Hendry, Mike Santana and The Hardy Boys against The System in eight-man tag-team action in our next match of the evening. Mike Santana comes out through the crowd and settles in the ring.

Joe Hendry’s theme hits and the crowd goes bonkers and sings along with “I Believe In Joe Hendry,” as a remix music video plays on the screen with Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy with giant geeky smiles on their faces standing next to Joe Hendry on the white backdrop doing the clapping gimmick.

They all come out together and then The System make their way out to big “F**k the System!” chants. The bell sounds and it will be Moose and Santana kicking things off for their respective teams. Moose decides against it and tags in JDC before anything happens. Santana takes the early offensive lead.

He clears the apron of all The System guys and asks the crowd if they want a Hardy. He tags in Matt and the “DELETE!” chants begin. He hits a poetry in motion off Matt’s back and Jeff comes in to hit one off of Santana’s. Fans randomly start loudly acapella singing “I Believe in Joe Hendry!” as the action continues.

Everyone ends up in the ring for a spot where Hendry and the Hardy’s hit a three-for-two suplex spot. They all stand with their backs to the hard camera before doing the hard turn and “Five Second Pose” stance Edge used to use. I guess that’s Hendry’s now, though.

For the next several minutes, The System members take turns getting heat on Matt Hardy, who is kept isolated in the ring. He eventually makes the much-needed tag to Jeff. Jeff takes the hot tag and sets the crowd ablaze as he takes it to The System. He hits a Whisper in the Wind to take out a bunch of them.

Fans break out in random “Davey Richards!” chants at Eddie Edwards and another loud “F**k The System!” chant as Moose works over Jeff. He tags in JDC and he picks up where Moose left off, taking it to Jeff. Fans start singing Hendry’s theme again out of the blue.

Hendry helps rally the crowd even more behind Jeff, who hits a Twist of Fate out of nowhere on Moose, who is now the legal man. This buys him enough time to make the hot tag to Hendry, who hits the ring with a ton of energy. He hits a fall-away slap on Edwards.

He avoids an Edwards middle rope splash and hits a fall-away slam on JDC. Myers goes to spear Hendry, but Hendry side-steps him and he takes out JDC. He hits another fall-away slam on Myers. Moose comes off the ropes but Hendry side-steps him as well.

Hendry connects with a pop-up power bomb on Edwards and goes for the cover, but only gets two. Fans chant “We believe!” and Hendry looks for the Standing Ovation. Edwards avoids it and the two collide into each other off the ropes. Hendry tags out.

Matt Hardy hits a Side Effect. Jeff hits a Swanton Bomb but JDC hits a Falcon Arrow. Hendry hits a Standing Ovation on him. Matt Hardy hits a Twist of Fate on Edwards for a close two-count. Moose broke it up. Matt goes after Edwards, but Edwards low-blows him and hits Boston Knee Party for the win. Moose yells into the camera afterwards that he’s coming to get what’s his.

Nic Nemeth (c) defeated Josh Alexander 3-2 to retain the TNA World Championship in a 60-Minute Iron Man Match

It’s main event time!

The pre-match video package airs to set the stage for our final match of the evening, which features Nic Nemeth putting his TNA World Championship on-the-line in an hour-long Iron Man match against “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander.

After the long entrances and introductions, this one gets off to a slow start, with the two clearly setting a pace early on and preparing for a long night. Nemeth controls Alexander on the mat and works on his arm. Fans chant “We want tables!” clearly not reading the mood of the bout at all.

They hit the mat and roll around again before quickly separating and staring at each other some more. Alexander gets a headlock takeover and controls Nemeth with his back on the mat. Alexander goes for an ankle lock, but Nemeth quickly scrambles to the ropes.

This same routine continues with fans singing “I believe in Nic Nemeth!” to entertain themselves during the lulls. Nemeth ends up catching Alexander by surprise with a roll-up for the first fall out of nowhere. With 48 minutes and change remaining, Nemeth goes up 1-0.

Alexander quickly jumps on Nemeth and puts the boots to him in the corner as things get started again. Nemeth lands a back elbow to Alexander to slow him down, but Alexander hits a back-breaker. He continues to focus on the lower back of Nemeth.

He connects with a big suplex and looks to tie things up with a cover, but Nemeth kicks out. Nemeth begins firing up and fighting back with repeated forearms, but a knee to the bread basket from Alexander slows him down. Fans chant “USA!” and Alexander taunts them by pointing to the Canadian logo on his knee pad.

The two go wild with fast-paced, back-and-forth spots and pin attempts as the crowd comes to life in the background. Nemeth ends up hitting a FameAsser and goes for the cover, but Alexander kicks out before the count of three. Nemeth looks for the Danger Zone, but Alexander avoids it.

Nemeth hits it anyways seconds later and covers him to go up two falls to nothing. It’s 2-0 with the defending champion in a comfortable lead at just over 20 minutes into the bout. The crowd are literally doing anything to entertain themselves ten minutes later.

At 30 minutes in, they’re doing the LA Knight chant, “Oh you didn’t know?” Road Dogg routine, random “Suplex City” chants. “We want Vickie!” chants for Nemeth’s old on-air WWE partner. Nemeth and Alexander slow chain-wrestling isn’t keeping them fully engaged, to say the least. Alexander hits a German suplex and holds on for another. And another. And another. As many elbows as Nemeth hit Jerry Lawler with yesteryear, Alexander hit him with that many German suplexes.

Nemeth fights back and he gets Alexander’s back. He begins the rolling German routine, dumping “The Walking Weapon” on his dome over-and-over again as well, as the crowd counts along with each one that connects. Nemeth, too, gets in the double-digit region.

Nemeth headbutts Alexander’s head gear off his head. Alexander trips Nemeth up with an ankle pick, Tony Ferguson-style. He looks for the ankle lock in the middle of the ring. Fans chant “Please don’t tap out!” at Nemeth as he crawls to the ropes. Alexander steps on the back of Nemeth’s head and yanks him back to the middle of the ring.

He sits down in the ankle lock and cranks away. Nemeth looked to be tapping, but instead was slamming his hand to the mat to scratch and crawl back to the ropes, where he gets the referee to force the hold to be broken. Alexander slams Nemeth’s leg on the ring apron to continue to soften it up.

Alexander and Nemeth bump the referee. With the referee down and Nemeth out of it, Alexander responds to fan chants of “We want tables!” by heading out to the ringside area and pulling a table out. He sets it up at ringside. He grabs Nemeth and looks for a C4 Spike through the table, but Nemeth counters with a back-body drop that sends Alexander bouncing off the corner of the ring apron, Shawn Michaels’ first-career-ending style on the casket. Ouch.

Back in the ring, Alexander hoists Nemeth upside down and hits a spinning tombstone. He covers him and the referee comes back to life to make the count, but Nemeth gets his shoulder up. Hannifan stresses on commentary that 40 minutes deep into the bout, Alexander still can’t score a single fall on Nemeth.

Alexander grabs a steel chair and heads into the ring with it. He gives it to the ref and decides against using it. The ref goes to get rid of it, but when he does, Alexander takes a foreign object out of his knee brace and knocks out Nemeth with it. He hides it and hits Nemeth with a C4 Spike. He covers him and gets his first fall.

It’s 2-1 now, and as the next fall gets going, Alexander immediately hits a leaping C4 Spike on Nemeth and covers him again to go up 2-2. It’s all tied up now with just over 15 minutes remaining. He can’t pick Nemeth up because he’s so lifeless, so Alexander tries simply covering him again. Nemeth kicks out.

Nemeth springs to life out of nowhere and hops on Alexander’s back with a sleeper hold. He squeezes away until Alexander falls backwards, Matt Hughes-Frank Trigg style. As they crash onto the mat, Nemeth lets go. Upon recovering, he slaps it right back on him and squeezes away. Alexander gets to his feet and runs forward, slamming Nemeth face-first into the turnbuckle.

This gets him off of him temporarily, but like the bad guy in a horror movie, Nemeth jumps back to life and leaps on him with another sleeper hold. This time Alexander goes for broke, climbing the ropes and both guys tumble over them and crash and burn out onto the floor way down below.

Just over 11 minutes remains as both guys are back to their feet trading shots. Nemeth headbutts Alexander, who then picks Nemeth up and dumps him on the floor with authority. Alexander rolls back in the ring, hoping to go up 3-2 with a count-out as a fall. The referee begins counting as Nemeth struggles to get back in the ring. He falls on 7, climbs back up at 8 and rolls into the ring just after 9.

He walks right into Alexander, who hooks him for another C4 Spike, but Nemeth avoids it and ends up back-body-dropping Alexander over the ropes, where he crashes through the table that was set up earlier. Nice. Hannifan says neither man can be disqualified for using a table because the referee was down and out when the table was set up. Boy, that is super technicality stuff. Is a DQ fall coming soon so that makes sense?

Back in the ring, Alexander hits another big C4 Spike and covers Nemeth. He comes within millimeters of another fall, but Nemeth gets his foot on the ropes. Now, the crowd who was doing random self-entertaining chants and singing earlier, is very loudly chanting “This is Awesome.” Damn right! Nemeth hits a DDT out of the blue and quickly covers Alexander, but only gets two.

Nemeth re-ties his boot before going back to work on Alexander in the corner. He runs into a big boot from “The Walking Weapon.” Alexander hops up on the middle rope and kicks Nemeth. Nemeth climbs up after him. Nemeth heads to the very top-rope and looks for a superplex. Alexander knocks him down. Alexander heads up to the top, but Nemeth pops up and stops him. This time, he hits a superplex.

Fans chant “One more time!” Yeah right. Nemeth goes for the cover, but Alexander kicks out. Just over five minutes remains and the fans break out in a “Five more minutes!” chant. Hannifan reminds us if this ends in a tie, we go to a sudden death overtime round. They trade shots and Alexander kicks Nemeth’s ankle out from under him.

He pulls his straps down, but while doing so, gets super kicked by Nemeth. Think that Judo dude taking his Gi off in a PRIDE fight with Wanderlei Silva and finding out the hard way it was a mistake. Similar stuff. Alexander fights back and hits a German release suplex. Fans chant “Three more minutes!” Alexander lawn-darts Nemeth into an exposed turnbuckle in the corner.

He hits Nemeth with Nemeth’s own Danger Zone finisher. He goes for the cover, but Nemeth kicks out. Alexander isn’t happy. Fans chant “Two more minutes!” Alexander looks for another C4 Spike, but struggles to get Nemeth up. Nemeth counters with a back-slam into a pin. Alexander kicks out.

Fans chant “One more minute!” Nemeth leaps into the air and catches Alexander with Danger Zone on the way down. He smacks himself in the face and hooks Alexander’s arms for a C4 Spike of his own. He connects with it and covers him. 1-2-3. Nemeth takes the lead 3-2 with 20 seconds remaining. Nemeth waits for Alexander to get up.

With 5 seconds remaining, Alexander crashes and falls back to the mat. The bell sounds. Nemeth is the iron man and still the TNA World Champion.

JBL Arrives In TNA

JBL comes out as Nic Nemeth is celebrating, to the shock of the crowd in Louisville. He gets close to Nemeth, leans into him and whispers something into his ear while wearing a cowboy hat and trench coat, like a cowboy Undertaker. He backs up, smiles, and exits the ring and heads to the back as Nemeth nods his head. Thanks for joining us, and don’t forget to follow me on Twitter/X.

“Speedball” Mike Bailey (w/ Trent Seven) (c) defeated Rich Swann (w/ AJ Francis) to retain the TNA X-Division Championship

The first of two title matches kicks things off on this week’s show, as First Class duo AJ Francis and Rich Swann make their way out to start off the program. Swann will be challenging for the TNA X-Division Championship.

Francis settles in on special guest commentary as reigning TNA X-Division Champion “Speedball” Mike Bailey makes his way out accompanied by Speedball Mountain partner Trent Seven. The bell sounds and Bailey soaks up the crowd atmosphere inside the Impact Zone before locking up.

The Rascalz duo of Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz are shown watching on from the treehouse. The Wentz vs. Wes Lee bout for WWE NXT No Mercy 2024 is promoted with a graphic on the screen and a mention by the commentators. Bailey isolates Swann’s arm and controls it early on.

Bailey goes for a dropkick at the same time as Swann. And again. They have the old-school ECW fists-up stare down for a pop afterwards. They shake hands, but Swann uses it to deliver a cheap shot. Swann ends up diving legs-first through the ropes and hitting a hurricanrana to Swann on the floor.

Bailey ends up nearly colliding with Francis, but puts stops short. Francis threatens him, and then Bailey turns around into a super kick from Swann. Swann rolls him back into the ring and continues to control the offense as the fans rally behind Bailey with “Speedball! Speedball!” chants.

As Francis and the commentary team of Matthew Rehwoldt and Tom Hannifan, a trio of grown men, argue about whose college is cooler, we see The Rascalz watching on again while Swann works over the leg of Bailey. Bailey lands a big kick to slow down Swann’s momentum. He hits a running shooting star for a nearfall attempt.

Bailey gets a bit too fancy with his kicks, and Swann capitalizes with one of his own before dumping Bailey on his dome for a close two-count. The two begin trading kicks, but they get their legs crossed up trying at the same time. The each kip up at the same time.

Swann hits a big shot that sends Bailey to the floor. Back in the ring, Swann connects with a top-rope First Class Splash for a super close pin attempt. Bailey hits the standing moonsault into the double knees for a close pin attempt of his own. Bailey hits a wild roundhouse kick, which brings Francis out of his seat to get involved.

Seven tries to stop him, but gets KO’d for his efforts. Swann rolls up Bailey for a close two count. Bailey blocks a move attempted by Swann, but seconds later, Swann hits a handspring cutter for another dangerously close pin attempt. Bailey hits a Spanish Fly after Swann is briefly distracted by Francis and Seven at ringside. Bailey retains in an excellent opener.

Gia Miller Interviews TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace

Gia Miller is standing by with TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace for a backstage interview. “The Juggernaut” talks about being willing to give anyone a title shot as a fighting champion. She says this is multiple shots for Ash By Elegance and this time, under her own special rules.

She doesn’t know what a Match By Elegance is, but she will still walk out the TNA Knockouts Champion. She walks off and the show heads into a commercial break.

Joe Hendry defeated Brian Myers (w/ Eddie & Alisha Edwards)

When the show returns, The System theme hits and out comes three members of the group in their late 1990s Mark Henry U.S.A. jackets and gear. It will be Brian Myers in one-on-one action, with Eddie and Alisha Edwards at ringside..

The catchy-ass tune for Joe Hendry plays and out comes the top star in TNA Wrestling and WWE NXT, to an adoring crowd singing along with the man that they believe in. Highlights are shown in split-screen form of the latest Joe Hendry Concert on Tuesday’s WWE NXT. They promote Hendry vs. Ethan Page with Trick Williams as special guest referee for WWE NXT No Mercy 2024 this weekend.

Fans chant “We believe! We believe!” as Hendry holds a mic before the match gets started. “Say his name, and he appears,” Hendry begins. He addresses Brian Myers, saying this is the part where he’d normally make fun of him. He’s heard rumors of people respecting Myers.

If you do, definitely do not chant “Edge’s b*tch!” Of course, the fans chant exactly that. Hendry says, “Of course, that’s right …nobody respects Brian Myers!” When people want to show respect, they chant “We believe!” He wraps up and the match gets started.

Myers with a headlock and a shoulder tackle off the ropes to start things off. He mugs for the crowd but then gets knocked on his keister by Hendry. He goes for a middle rope splash but Hendry side-steps him and does the hand-on-the-hips super hero pose. He does a stall suplex as fans react in the Impact Zone.

Hendry does the Queen, stomp-stomp clap, “We Will Rock You” beat to lead a “We believe!” chant and then goes to work on Myers on the floor. Alisha gets in his face and goes to slap him, but Hendry catches her hand mid-slap. The referee ejects Mr. & Mrs. Edwards from ringside.

Hendry gloats over this, but gets attacked by Myers from behind, who slams him into the ring steps and the ring apron, as Tom Hannifan talks us into a mid-match commercial break. When the show returns, Myers is in control of the action until Hendry hits a pop-up cutter to slow him down. Seconds later, Hendry hits the Standing Ovation for the win.

Mike Santana defeated Eddie Edwards

After the match, Eddie Edwards hits the ring to join Myers in a post-match attack of Hendry. Mike Santana’s theme hits and the lights go out. Santana makes his way to the ring through the crowd to a lukewarm crowd reaction.

When Santana gets in the ring, the referee clears everyone else out except Edwards, and the scheduled Santana vs. Edwards one-on-one match gets underway, as the bell sounds to start things off. Santana takes the early offensive lead, chopping the hell out of Edwards.

Edwards starts to fight back until Santana hits a back body drop that sends The System member crashing and burning out on the floor at ringside. Alisha Edwards, who hasn’t been banned from ringside for this match yet, comes out and distracts Santana.

Santana heads out to the floor, but Edwards hides behind Alisha. Santana goes to work on Eddie, but Alisha provides a distraction, allowing Eddie to send Santana into the ring apron with a blue thunder bomb. On that note, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break as the action continues.

When we return, we see Alisha getting involved at ringside, grabbing Santana’s hair. Santana fights back and connects with Spin The Block, but fails to put Edwards away. Santana hits a big flying splash over the top-rope to take out Santana on the floor.

In the ring, he hits a top-rope frog splash for a close two-count. Santana calls for Spin The Block again, but Edwards avoids it. Santana goes for the Rolling Buck 50, but Edwards counters with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a close two-count. Edwards tries for a Tiger Driver, but Santana avoids it.

He tries again and hits it for another close two-count. He takes his elbow pad off and blasts Santana and tries for another cover, but can’t keep Santana down. From his knees, Santana spits in Edwards’ face. Edwards kicks him and pulls his knee pad down. He looks for the Boston Knee Party, with Santana waving it on. Santana avoids it and hits Spin The Block for the win. Another good match.

Matt Cardona To Have Mystery Monster Replace Him At Emergence

“Alwayz Ready” Matt Cardona checks in with a medical update. He says unfortunately he’s not cleared after training too hard for us in the gym. He says because of this, he won’t be able to compete at TNA Emergence.

Santino Marella came in and asked what he’s trying to pull. Cardona says he found a mystery monster to face PCO at Emergence. He tells Santino it’s gonna be amazing. He says he’s 80% and he’ll be ready in a few weeks. Santino isn’t happy. The show heads into another commercial break.

Hammerstone defeated Eric Young

When the show returns, we see Steve Maclin joining Rehwoldt and Hannifan on special guest commentary for our next match of the evening. With that said, Hammerstone makes his way down to the ring. Eric Young comes out next as Maclin talks trash about him on commentary.

The bell sounds and fans in the Impact Zone immediately break out into an “E.Y! E.Y” chant. They lock up and Hammerstone out-powers him. Young catches Hammerstone off the ropes with an arm-drag. Hammerstone fights back up, but Young flips away from him and takes him back down, controlling the big man by his arm.

Hammerstone muscles his way back up and pushes Young into the corner. He spears into his mid-section a few times and hits a big elbow. Young fights back but Hammerstone lands a big boot that knocks Young off the ring apron and out to the floor at ringside.

Hammerstone sends Young crashing and burning right in front of Maclin on commentary. He spikes Young face-first into the steel ring steps and sends him back into the ring. After some more back and forth action, Young is distracted by Maclin, leading to Hammerstone hitting the nightmare pendulum for the win. After the match, the show heads into another commercial break.

ABC (Chris Bey & Ace Austin) defeated Cody Deaner & Jake Something

When the show returns, Cody Deaner and Jake Something make their way out. They cut a pre-match promo, with Deaner wanting to play to the crowd, but Jake telling him it’s not about the fans, it’s about proving themselves in this TNA Wrestling tag-team division.

The reigning TNA World Tag-Team Champions, ABC, make their way out. Ace Austin and Chris Bey settle in the ring and the bell sounds. Austin and Something kick things off for their respective teams, with Something manhandling one-half of the tag champs straight out of the gate.

Something hits a buckle bomb in the corner and tags in Deaner, who picks up where he left off, taking it to Austin, before quickly tagging Something back in. Something hits a big slam and tags Deaner right back in. Deaner goes for the cover, but Austin kicks out at two.

Austin finally rolls past Deaner and makes the much-needed tag to Bey. Bey comes into the ring with a ton of energy, and takes it to Deaner. He knocks Something off the apron and hits a big splash on Deaner in the corner.

All four end up in the ring, with things breaking down deep into the contest. Austin and Bey collide into each other attempting to take out Something. Something capitalizes and takes them both out. Deaner hits a cross-body off the top onto both ABC members.

Austin and Bey fight back, sending Something to the floor. Something and Austin end up at ringside while Bey works over Deaner in the ring. Back on the apron, Something gets met by Bey with kicks. Austin drives Something into the apron and then tags back in.

Austin and Bey hit a double kick on Deaner in the corner and then hit their one-two finisher combo for the win. First Class duo AJ Francis and Rich Swann hit the ring after the match, brutally taking out the TNA Tag-Team Champion duo of ABC. Jake Something simply watches on at ringside.

Jordynne Grace (C) defeated Ash By Elegance to retain the TNA Knockouts Championship in a Match By Elegance

It’s main event (match) time!

We shoot backstage and see George Iceman speaking with TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champions Malisha, the team of Masha Slamovich and Alisha Edwards of The System. Tom Hannifan questions what they are talking about as he promotes the Match by Elegance for the TNA Knockouts Championship coming up next.

On that note, we shift gears and head into a quick pre-match commercial break. When we return, Hannifan and Rehwoldt are shown on-camera. Rehwoldt leaves to go get ready to sit down with Nic Nemeth and Josh Alexander for their final face-off after the upcoming Knockouts title tilt, which is revealed to essentially be a Falls Count Anywhere bout.

Hannifan runs down the lineup for TNA Emergence as the official match graphics flash across the screen. We see a pair of shoes laying on a pink steel chair, a pink kendo stick, champagne bottles and other goodies surrounding the ring as we get ready for a Match By Elegance.

Ash By Elegance’s theme hits and out she comes accompanied by George Iceman for our final match of the TNA Emergence 2024 “go-home” show. A “Tale of the Tape” graphic flashes on the screen for our second championship contest of the evening.

After the challenger settles inside the squared circle, we hear the familiar sounds of Jordynne Grace’s theme music. Out comes “The Juggernaut” for the latest defense of her TNA Knockouts title. Hannifan says this match will have no disqualifications and falls count anywhere.

Before the bell sounds, we head into another quick pre-match commercial break. When the show returns, Iceman cuts off the ring announcer so he can handle the introduction for Ash By Elegance. When Grace is introduced, Ash attacks her from behind with a chair.

Ash dominates the first few minutes of offense until Grace fights back into the lead with her power, slamming Ash on a pink trash can. On the floor, Ash chokes her as George Iceman gets unbearably annoying on guest commentary alongside Hannifan.

We head to a mid-match break with the two fighting on the floor. When we return, Iceman continues to annoy, just as much as Hannifan annoys while complaining about being annoyed himself. Meanwhile, Grace is setting up a table until Iceman helps Ash spray something in her eyes.

They put a tablecloth on the table together. They lay Grace on the table. Ash heads to the top but Grace recovers before she can jump. She climbs up after her and looks for a superplex. Iceman passes the bedazzled brass knuckles to Ash, who decks Grace with them.

Ash leaps off the top-rope to splash onto Grace, but Grace catches her on the way down and hits “The World’s Strongest Slam” followed by a Vader Bomb for a close two-count. Fans chant “Tables! Tables!” Grace grabs a mixed drink bottle of some kind and then dumps diamonds all over the ring. You know, instead of thumbtacks because it’s a Match By Elegance.

Ash drop toe-holds Grace face-first into a steel chair. She breaks a champagne over her head and covers her, but only gets two. She screams like a banshee after coming up short on the pin attempt. Extra annoying, even for her. Ash chokes Grace with a rose thorn as Iceman comes in with heels as a weapon. Before he can use them, Rosemary appears and hits a spear for a big pop.

She heads out to chase off Iceman, who runs away to the back. Grace covers Ash, but Ash kicks out. The Malisha duo of Masha Slamovich and Alisha Edwards hits the ring, but Grace takes them out. Slamovich ends up hitting a package piledriver on Grace. Ash goes for the cover, but Grace kicks out.

All three continue to blatantly set up Grace, while the referee has no choice but to watch and hang around to count the pin if and when the time comes. Spitfire duo Dani Luna and Jody Threat hit the ring to even things up. They take out the TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champions, leaving Ash alone with Grace.

Grace blasts Ash with a pink chair and then takes her off the top rope into a Muscle Buster position. She hits it to put Ash through the table on the floor after leaping off the apron. Ouch. She covers her on the floor and gets the win to retain. Fun match.

Nic Nemeth, Josh Alexander Final Face-Off With Matthew Rehwoldt

It’s main event (segment) time!

Hannifan sends things to Rehwoldt, who is sitting at a table in a different location outside of the Impact Zone. He is seated with Nic Nemeth and Josh Alexander. He mentions their Iron Man match for the TNA World Championship at TNA Emergence on August 30 and how there is a no physicality clause for this final face-off.

Rehwoldt reminds everyone of their past meeting in the ring on Impact, which went to a 30-minute time-limit draw. Alexander explains his decision not to go another five minutes during that time-limit draw. Alexander vows he’ll be ready to finish the job at Emergence.

Nemeth is asked if he can handle the pressure of being TNA World Champion. Nemeth says he’s always looked forward to being the TNA World Champion one day. He looked forward to that responsibility. He mentions Alexander having that same responsibility in the past.

He says Alexander just needed to come to him, face-to-face, like he would’ve in the old days, and asked for a title shot like a man. He didn’t need to involve his family and take the route he did. He dogs him for taking cheap shots and doing it the snake way.

He says he can tell by the look in his eyes, he’s only going to weasel his way through this. He’s not ready to beat him man to man. Rehwoldt says being in Nemeth’s spot is Alexander’s goal but he hasn’t gotten back there. He asks him bluntly what’s gone wrong.

Alexander loses his cool. He stands up and turns his chair around backwards and sits back down. He raises his voice and says Nemeth says he respects him for being a champion, but claims no one knows his name. He mentions AJ Styles, Sting and others and says he’s above them all as a longer reigning champion.

He says there’s nothing wrong with him or the way he’s been doing things. He says like many before him, Nemeth benefitted from being a shiny new toy that came into the company and got fast-tracked to opportunities others, like him, spent years earning.

He vows he will take back the title that rightfully belongs to him at Emergence. He says TNA will be better for it. Nemeth loses his cool and stands up and turns his chair around and sits back down. He raises his voice and explains why this business is a “what have you done for me lately” business. His past doesn’t mean anything.

He got to the title because of what he did lately in 2024. He says you don’t get to talk about what you used to do, like being the longest reigning TNA World Champion in the past. He says it’s what have you done for me lately. What Alexander has done lately is try to take shortcuts and take cheap shots.

Nemeth says he’ll prove he can go all night long. Alexander says he has already proven it. He says an Iron Man match is something he’s done before. Nemeth says it’s what have you done for me lately. They each stand up and raise their voice again as they argue. Alexander says lately is tomorrow when he takes the title and takes TNA to new levels.

He says he earned it and spilled more blood in that ring than Nemeth ever has. He says he’ll prove it. He says he is the “f**king standard.” Nemeth says he wants to believe him, but he’s staring him in the eyes right now and he doesn’t believe that. He says the TNA title stays with him for “f**king ever.” He says he’ll fight to the death for it.

Not eventually. Not once in a while. Not talking about history books and this being his kind of match. Every night. That’s why he’s the champion and Alexander is not. Alexander just smiles and walks off. The show ends on that note. That was unbelievably good. Like really, really powerfully good stuff. Kudos to Nemeth and Alexander. Thanks for joining us, and don’t forget to follow me on Twitter/X.

TNA Impact live results: Ultimate X qualifying matches begin

Two three-way qualifying matches for entry into the Ultimate X match at Emergence begin tonight on TNA Impact.

In one, WWE NXT’s Dante Chen will make his promotional debut as he battles KC Navarro and Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz. In the other, X-Division Champion “Speedball” Mike Bailey takes on Trent Seven and Jake Something. If Bailey loses, he will vacate the title and it will be put up for grabs in the Ultimate X match.

Tonight’s show will also feature another open challenge by Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace.

The man who appears everywhere in wrestling — Joe Hendry — will take on NXT’s Wolfgang of the Gallus faction.

Following last week’s disaster of a wedding between PCO and Steph De Lander due to the return of Matt Cardona, the fallout from the failed nuptials will be felt.

After a fairly unsuccessful Slammiversary that saw Moose lose his World title and Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers drop their Tag Team titles, The System will kick off the show to give the state of their group.

After turning on Joe Hendry during last month’s six-way for the World title at Slammiversary, Josh Alexander will attempt to explain his actions.

KUSHIDA vs. Jonathan Gresham rounds out the lineup.

Steph De Lander Honeymoon Pt. I

Steph De Lander checks in to kick off this week’s show. She is holding black and red lingerie for her monster PCO and welcomes us to her honeymoon following their undead wedding last week.

The System Kick Off This Week’s Show

“Trust … The System” is the first thing we hear when we shoot inside the Impact Zone. Out comes JDC and The System in their red, white and blue gear. Alisha Edwards begins on the mic. “Do you wanna know something?” The fans loudly respond, “No!”

She says she’s so sick and tired of us stupid fans thinking that The System is failing. A “You suck! You suck!” chant breaks out as the raspy-voiced Alisha yells at the fans in Tampa to shut their collective mouths.

Eddie Edwards takes the mic next and claims he and Brian Myers losing the tag-team titles was nothing more than a fluke. He tells everyone in the back that they will do whatever it takes to get their belts back. Myers insists nothing has changed and that The System is still the best wrestling faction.

Another “You suck! You suck!” chant spreads throughout the Impact Zone as JDC begins his turn on the mic. He tells the fans to shut up once more before handing the mic off to Moose. Moose addresses Nic Nemeth. He says he might be the TNA World Champion at this moment, but he’ll never be the face of the franchise.

When the time is right, he claims he will come and get what his rightfully his, the TNA World Championship. Before then, he needs to address the lunatic Mike Santana telling people he’s afraid of him. Moose asks if Santana knows how many Hall of Famers he has on his resume.

Moose says Santana calls himself a dog. He says next week he’ll take that dog out back and give him the “Old Yeller” treatment. Why? Because in the end, “you always trust in The System.” Their theme hits again to wrap up the opening segment.

Backstage With Jonathan Gresham & KUSHIDA

Backstage, Jonathan Gresham is interviewed without his mask on. Gia Miller brings up his match against KUSHIDA tonight, which was originally set for TNA Slammiversary. She says she didn’t expect to see him like this without his mask on.

Gresham says he hasn’t been feeling well for a while. KUSHIDA comes in and doesn’t say anything. He looks at Gresham, extends his hand and then walks off. On that note, we head into a commercial break.

“Speedball” Mike Bailey (c) defeated Trent Seven & Jake Something to qualify for Ultimate X

When the show returns, we see the TNA digital exclusive where “Speedball” Mike Bailey is with Santino Marella. It is announced that if Bailey doesn’t win in the three-way Ultimate X match he is involved in tonight, he will vacate his TNA X-Division Championship.

Inside the Impact Zone, the theme for Trent Seven hits and out comes his Speedball Mountain tag-team partner for our first match of the evening. Jake Something heads to the ring next, followed by reigning TNA X-Division Champion “Speedball” Mike Bailey.

The commentators inform us that there are no disqualifications or count-outs in these qualifier matches. The bell sounds and this high stakes three-way qualifier bout gets started. Seven and Bailey shake hands at the onset. Fans immediately start chanting “Speedball! Speedball!”

Something and Seven scramble up and down from the mat, before Something is thrown out to the floor. Seven and Bailey mix it up and we see Seven end up on the floor as well. Bailey goes for a high spot to the floor and Something moves, causing Bailey to unintentionally take out Seven.

Back in the ring, Bailey and Something mix it up and end up in the ropes, where Bailey hits a modified poison-rana to bring Something up and over the ropes and out to the floor. Bailey launches himself onto Something, who catches him on the floor and by Bailey’s legs, swings him repeatedly into the ring apron.

Something power bombs Bailey on the apron and leaves him laying, before heading back into the ring and dominating the offense over Seven. Seven fights back and hoists Something up on his shoulders. Out of nowhere, Bailey leaps off the top-rope and dropkicks them both down.

Seven starts to fire up, and he blasts Bailey with a few powerful clotheslines for a two-count. Something hits a double shoulder block to knock both guys down. He continues to hit the ropes and run over the Speedball Mountain duo a few more times. He goes for a splash on Seven, but he gets his boot up.

Bailey hits a poisonrana. Seven hits a top-rope scoop-slam for a close two-count. Speedball Mountain both take turns chopping the hell out of Something. Seven hits a Seven-star lariat on Something, who doesn’t go down. He goes for another, but Something blocks it. Bailey hops on Something’s back.

With Bailey on his back, Something hits a power bomb on Seven and a back-splash to get Bailey off of him. Something hits a Void on Seven with Bailey at ringside. He goes for the cover, but Bailey breaks it up in time. Bailey hits a super kick and then a tornado kick in the corner. Bailey hits Ultimo Weapon off the top on Something for the win. He is the first to qualify for Ultimate X at TNA Emergence 2024.

Backstage With Tasha Steelz, Gisele Shaw & Santino Marella

Footage of Tasha Steelz vs. Gisele Shaw from TNA Xplosion is shown. We see Steelz cheat to win and then shoot backstage to a promo from Steelz. As Steelz boasts over her victory, Shaw confronts her.

Santino Marella comes in making cop siren sounds. He announces another match between the two with extra referees for next week to ensure no “extra shenanigans” take place this time. Steelz makes the Cardi B “Okurrrr (Okay)” noise to wrap things up.

Backstage With Hammerstone, Eric Young & Santino Marella

TNA Bound For Glory 2024 is announced for October 26 when we return. The location was not yet announced. Slow roll out for the announcement. Backstage, Hammerstone approaches Santino Marella. He says he wants in the Ultimate X.

Santino says it’s not about weight limits, it’s about no limits. He tells him he’s got it and walks off. Eric Young comes up and tells Hammerstone they have unfinished business.

KUSHIDA defeated Jonathan Gresham

Back inside the Impact Zone, KUSHIDA makes his way to the ring looking like Michael J. Fox in Back To The Future as always. He settles inside the ring and awaits the arrival of Jonathan Gresham.

“The Octopus” makes his way to the ring and is wrestling without the mask on. The bell sounds and off we go. Tom Hannifan explains how this was supposed to take place at TNA Slammiversary but didn’t due to Gresham’s travel issue.

Gresham tries to shake hands but KUSHIDA isn’t interested. Gresham and KUSHIDA lock-up and Gresham backs KUSHIDA into the corner. He gives him a clean break. KUSHIDA slaps on a side headlock and takes Gresham down to the mat.

We see Gresham get KUSHIDA’s back standing, and he pushes him into the ropes. Once again Gresham gives KUSHIDA a clean break. A very technical wrestling battle continues with these two applying holds and hitting reverses and counters.

A back-elbow by Gresham slows KUSHIDA down as Hannifan talks us into a mid-match commercial break. When the show returns, we see KUSHIDA get the Hooverboard Lock for the submission victory.

Backstage With ABC & “Speedball” Mike Bailey

TNA World Tag-Team Champions ABC are shown backstage. They talk about recapturing the tag-team titles. As they continue to talk, they are approached by TNA X-Division Champion “Speedball” Mike Bailey.

He thanks them for their help and then asks him to do him the honor of competing in Ultimate X Qualifying matches. Chris Bey and Ace Austin like the idea of possibly becoming double-champions. After this wraps up, the show heads into another commercial break.

Steph De Lander Honeymoon Pt. II

When the show returns, we see Steph De Lander in a hot tub from her honeymoon. She grabs her cell phone to call her monster. She gets his voicemail. She laughs it off and looks around, waiting for him.

Jordynne Grace (c) and Rosemary ends in No Contest in TNA Knockouts Championship Open Challenge

Inside the Impact Zone, the theme for Jordynne Grace hits. Out comes “The Juggernaut” for her latest TNA Knockouts Championship Open Challenge. She settles in the ring and waits to see who answers the call this week.

The lights go out and when they come back on, the theme for Rosemary hits. Out she comes from “The Undead Realm” to a decent crowd reaction. She settles in the ring with a bag and pulls out her giant butcher’s knife.

The bell sounds to get this one started as fans in Tampa break out in a “Rosemary! Rosemary!” chant. Rosemary gets Grace down early and screams and shrieks as she unloads on her with rights and lefts from back-mount. She gets an odd stretch on Grace under the bottom rope.

Grace starts to fight back. She connects with a huge super-plex off the top-rope and holds on after the landing. She picks Rosemary up for a powerful German suplex and then looks to try and finish her off.

Before she can, however, Ash By Elegance comes out and attacks them both with a pink kendo stick. The referee throws it out. After the match wraps up, the show heads into another commercial break.

TNA Bound For Glory 2024 Announcement

When the show returns, Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt are shown on-camera at the commentary desk. Hannifan introduces the official promotional trailer for TNA Bound For Glory 2024, which confirms the show for October 26 at the Wayne State University Fieldhouse in Detroit, Michigan.

Josh Alexander Calls Out TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth

Back inside the Impact Zone, the theme for Josh Alexander hits and out comes “The Walking Weapon.” He gets on the mic as fans chant “You sold out!” and “You screwed Joe (Hendry)!” at him.

Alexander calls Hendry a meme and says he’s not a pro wrestler. He says he didn’t change, the fans did. This time a few weeks ago, they’d be chanting “Walking Weapon!” at him.

He continues to drone on, talking about how he was considered the heart and soul of TNA. He calls himself the best pro wrestler walking the planet. Whether you like him or not, you’ll have to get used to him.

Alexander calls out TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth. He says Nemeth boasted being a fighting champion and the face of TNA. He says TNA already has a face, and it is Josh Alexander. He says they’ll call him the same thing they did in WWE when he’s done with him. “A transitional champion.”

Nemeth comes out and doesn’t say a word. He simply walks up, hits him to get him to drop his guard and then blasts him with a super kick. He kneels down next to him on the mic and says, “I am a fighting champion. You want your match, you got it. Next week right here in Tampa, I will end you.”

When we return, Santino Marella is shown backstage. He makes it official. Nic Nemeth vs. Josh Alexander will take place for the TNA World Championship next Thursday night. Frankie Kazarian comes in and says this is his house, and in his house, “Daddy at first.”

Santino says when it’s his turn, he’ll get a title shot, but right now, “Daddy’s not even sitting at the table.” Kaz assures Santino he’ll get it one way or the other.

Zachary Wentz defeated KC Navarro and Dante Chen
to qualify for Ultimate X

Back inside the Impact Zone, The Rascalz make their way out, as Zachary Wentz is part of the next three-way Ultimate X qualifier. As they settle in the ring, footage is shown from this week’s WWE NXT of Wes Lee attacking The Rascalz.

KC Navarro comes out next, followed by WWE NXT Superstar Dante Chen, and then the bell sounds to get this one officially off-and-running. It’s time to find out who joins “Speedball” Mike Bailey as the second participant in the returning Ultimate X match at TNA Emergence.

The three immediately take turns hitting arm-drags and sunset flips in a very fast-paced start to this Ultimate X qualifier. Navarro ends up in the early offensive lead, hitting back-to-back-to-back wild high spots in the ring and on the floor.

Navarro hits a tornado DDT on Chen for a close two-count, while Wentz recovers on the floor. Wentz fights his way back into the mic in the ring until Chen hits a modified double-noggin-knocker on Wentz and Navarro. Chen gets some offensive spotlight shine for a few moments.

Wentz takes over from there and hits his finisher for the pinfall victory. With the win, Zachary Wentz joins the field in the TNA X-Division Championship Ultimate X match at TNA Emergence. The commentators promote the main event coming up next as we head into another commercial break.

Steph De Lander Honeymoon Pt. III

We see an excited Steph De Lander in night wear laying in bed excited. “He’s almost here!” she says, as she waits on her new husband, PCO. Someone knocks at the door and she pops up happy. Matt Cardona is on the other side of the door.

De Lander wants nothing to do with him and pushes him out. Outside the room, we see PCO being held down. Cardona leans down in his face and tells him to stay away from his property, De Lander, and then stomps the back of his head.

Joe Hendry defeated Wolfgang

It’s main event time!

Hannifan and Rehwoldt show us highlights from WWE NXT of Joe Hendry’s recent match involving Gallus’s Joe Coffey. Back inside the Impact Zone, Gallus’ own Wolfgang from WWE NXT makes his way out and heads to the ring for our final match of the evening.

The catchy-ass entrance tune for Joe Hendry plays and the fans in the Impact Zone stomp, clap and sing along with him. He settles in the ring and his music dies down, but the “We Believe!” chants grow louder. He gets on the mic. “Say his name and he appears,” he begins as always.

Hendry tells Wolfgang it wasn’t so long ago that they were both back in Scotland trying to make names for themselves. He says it also wasn’t long ago that he showed up to his place of work and handled him. He brings up Gallus attacking him with a chair.

He says what’s interesting about that is that Mark and Joe Coffey isn’t here tonight. He says since it’s just them, he’s got something to say but he’s struggling to find the words. “I think it goes something like …” and boom, a big shot from Hendry to Wolfgang starts this one off with a bang.

Hendry continues to unload on Wolfgang, who he sends out to the floor with a big shot. Wolfgang recovers and the action continues at ringside. Hannifan and Rehwoldt talk us into a mid-match commercial break as the main event of the evening continues.

When the show returns, we see the action back inside the ring with Hendry in a commanding offensive lead. The crowd chants “Joe! Joe! Joe!” but Wolfgang quiets them down as he begins to shift the momentum in his favor. Fans chant “We want tables!” as the fight continues on the floor at ringside.

Wolfgang pulls the pad off of his arm and grinds his exposed elbow into the forehead of Hendry. Hendry begins fighting back. He hoists Wolfgang up for a delayed suplex. Fans break out in a “We believe!” chant as the wildly popular star continues to settle into a comfortable offensive lead.

Hendry muscles Wolfgang up and hits an impressive fall-away slam. He gets the “We will rock you!” clap-chant going and looks for the Standing Ovation. Wolfgang avoids it. Wolfgang looks for the Howling swanton bomb off the top, but Hendry avoids that and hits the Standing Ovation for the win.

Backstage, we see Mike Santana brawling with The System by himself. Tons of security guards break up the wild brawl as this week’s show goes off the air on that note. Thanks for joining us and don’t forget to follow me on Twitter/X.

Next Week:
* Moose vs. Mike Santana
* Ultimate X Qualifying Matches Continue
* Nic Nemeth (c) vs. Josh Alexander (TNA World Title)

TNA Impact live results: The fallout from Slammiversary

New TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth will kick off tonight’s edition of Impact as all the fallout from last Saturday’s Slammiversary will begin to be felt.

Nemeth survived a six-way elimination match to win the title last Saturday — his first of any kind in TNA.

One of the participants who made an impression in that match for the wrong reasons was Josh Alexander as he turned heel and eliminated fan favorite Joe Hendry in the process. He will be on the show to give his thoughts as to why he did what he did.

Steve Maclin will be in action against Cody Deaner while Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will team with Eric Young against Ash by Elegance and Hammerstone.

New TNA Tag Team Champions ABC will team with Matt Hardy against former champions The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) and JDG, while now former Digital Media Champion AJ Francis will face former World Champion Sami Callihan.

TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth & Mustafa Ali Kick Off The Show

A recap of Slammiversary and an updated opening intro video gets things started. We then shoot inside the arena in Montreal, where the new TNA World Champion “The Wanted Man” Nic Nemeth comes out dressed to the nines in a suit with the gold around his waist.

Fans chant “You deserve it!” before Nemeth gets started on the microphone. He begins, “From the bottom of my heart and to the TNA wrestling fans, thank you, I am your proud TNA World Champion!” He gloated about Moose no longer being the protected champion, and vows to be a fighting champion.

Nemeth holds up the title and says it’s still surreal to him. He says every night, he’ll fight anyone, any time, any place, any wrestling company, any damn night. He vows to make the TNA World Championship the greatest title in all of professional wrestling.

As he continues, he is cut off by Campaign Singh and Mustafa Ali’s Secret Service guards. He introduces “the greatest X-Division Champion of all-time,” Mustafa Ali. His majestic music hits and out he comes in a suit and tie with a microphone in-hand.

Ali says there is absolutely no disrespect to Nemeth meant by his presence as he joins the new champ in the ring. He says he wants to shake his hand. Nemeth hesitates and goes to do so, but Ali pulls away and says “but that is not more important than what happened to me.”

He calls what happened to him at Slammiversary the biggest screwjob in the history of wrestling. He says he made the X-Division great again. Nemeth tells Ali he believes him and to take it down a notch. He says Ali did a great job as champion. He wants to shake Ali’s hand. They do as Ali smiles.

Nemeth then mocks Ali for getting his ass beat by “Speedball” Mike Bailey. Ali says Bailey screwed him. Nemeth says that’s none of our business. Ali says he knows what he meant. He says Earl Hebner screwed him and all of Montreal screwed him. Fans chant “You deserve(d) it!”

Ali announces a new campaign to make the TNA World Championship great again. Nemeth says, without looking at Ali, first as new TNA World Champion he needs Ali to take a step back before he drops him on his ass. Ali does. Nemeth says “thank you.”

Nemeth suggests they fight with the title on-the-line right now. Ali says he’d love that, but he was thinking next week. He tries sneak-attacking Nemeth, but Nemeth sends him over the top-rope and out to the floor before blasting Campaign Singh with a super kick.

ABC & “BROKEN” Matt Hardy Talk Tonight’s Main Event

Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt announce the PCO and Steph De Lander wedding for next week’s show, before running down the lineup for this evening.

Backstage, we see the new TNA World Tag-Team Champions ABC and “BROKEN” Matt Hardy. ABC asks Hardy for suggestions on a game plan tonight, noting The System has the numbers advantage.

Hardy says it’s true because Jeff is not here, but someone else might show up if “We Believe!” We head to our first commercial break of the evening after this wraps up.

Backstage With Nic & Ryan Nemeth, Frankie Kazarian & Santino Marella

When we return, we see Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth talking when Frankie Kazarian walks up and tells Nemeth he’s still the king and says he screwed him out of the title at Slammiversary. Nemeth tells him he’s a fighting champion but to get to the back of the line.

Ryan Nemeth tells Kaz they have unfinished business. Santino Marella walks up and confirms Nic Nemeth vs. Mustafa Ali and Ryan Nemeth vs. Frankie Kazarian for next week.

Steve Maclin defeated Cody Deaner

We see an arrival shot of The System, who shows up wearing red, white and blue while in Montreal. Back inside the arena, the theme for Steve Maclin hits and he comes to the ring. He gets on the mic and says he’s got something to get off of his chest.

He gloats about kicking everyone’s ass at Slammiversary in the main event, but then he got caught. He admits that. He then takes issue with the Montreal crowd singing “Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey, Goodbye” at him. He then calls U.S.A. the greatest country of the world.

Maclin sings, “Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey, Kiss My Ass!” He drops the mic and the theme for his opponent hits. Out comes Cody Deaner on a microphone and says he speaks for all Canadians here in Montreal when he says Maclin needs to shut his mouth.

Deaner says he just spoke to another Canadian in the back, Santino Marella, and he told him he can be the one to kick his ass. It’s not his choice though, it’s the people’s choice. He asks the people, as we reach the 30-minute mark in the show before a bell has rung to start any match.

Finally, it is decided that he will fight and the bell sounds to get this one officially off-and-running. Deaner decks Maclin to get things started. He hits a Thesz Press off the ropes and ground-and-pounds away. He clotheslines Maclin out to the floor and hits a springboard splash onto him at ringside.

Maclin catches Deaner with a running knee moments later. He follows up with a back-breaker for a two-count. Maclin settles in the offensive lead as the crowd gets on his case with negative chants. He chops the hell out of Deaner in the corner.

Maclin gets Deaner in a back-stretch over his knee, while yelling at the fans to “piss off.” Deaner starts to fight back with Dusty Rhodes stomp-punches and the rolling fists. He hits an inverted atomic drop and clotheslines Maclin in the corner. He follows up with a bulldog out of the corner and plays to the crowd.

Deaner heads to the top-rope and hits a picture-perfect cross-body splash for a close two-count. Deaner goes for his trademark DDT, but Maclin hoists him up and drops him on his face. He hangs Deaner upside down in the tree of woe in the corner and taunts the crowd. He charges and spears an upside-down Deaner in the corner. He hits a K.I.A. for the win.

DMtv with Sami Callihan

We shoot to a DMtv segment with Sami Callihan. He talks in animated Sami Callihan-fashion about his showdown against AJ Francis tonight. Chet Cheddars checks in with the weather and then Callihan yells “cut” to end the segment. We head to another commercial break.

AJ Francis defeated Sami Callihan

When the show returns from the commercial break, the commentators promote Joe Hendry’s Live Concert set for week one of WWE NXT: The Great American Bash next Tuesday night.

Back inside the arena, AJ Francis is accompanied by Rich Swann and Josh Bishop. The First Class trio heads to the ring, where former TNA Digital Media Champion AJ Francis is scheduled for singles action.

“The Death Machine” Sami Callihan is out next. He soaks up the crowd reaction and then runs, face-first into the hard camera to the ring, mosh-pit style, as the strobe light blinks throughout the arena.

The bell sounds and the second match of the evening gets started. Callihan immediately knocks Swann off the apron and pulls the top-rope down as Francis charges at him, so Francis tumbles out to the floor. Callihan blasts Francis over the chest over the ropes with forearm shots, Sheamus-style.

Swann and Bishop hit the ring apron on different parts of the ring, luring Callihan to them, which allows Francis to attack “The Death Machine” from behind. Francis settles into the offensive driver’s seat at that point as the show heads into a mid-match commercial break.

When the show returns, we see Francis still very much in control of the action until Callihan starts biting his hand. Callihan fights back with chops and a big slam to the big man. He hits the ropes but walks into a big boot from Francis.

He goes for a leg drop, but Callihan moves and comes back with a low clothesline to a seated Francis. Callihan looks for the Cactus Driver ’97, but Swann distracts the referee, allowing Bishop to attack. Francis hits the Down Payment for the win.

Latest From Rosemary

The latest cryptic goth-style vignette featuring Rosemary airs. She has the knife she was wielding at Slammiversary over the weekend. Once this wraps up, we head into another commercial break.

Hammerstone & Ash By Elegance defeated Eric Young & Jordynne Grace

When the show returns, Hammerstone makes his way to the ring for the next match. George Iceman introduces his partner, Ash By Elegance. “The World Class Maniac” Eric Young and his partner, TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace, make their respective entrances and the bell sounds.

Grace, on the 194th day of her latest TNA Knockouts title reign, and Ash, kick things off for their respective teams. Ash slaps Grace, and Grace gives her a stiff smack back. Grace jumps into the early lead, chopping Ash and hitting a big spinebuster.

Hammerstone and Young tags in, and it is Young who fires away at the big muscle-man with wild right hands. Young hits a neck-breaker on Hammerstone off the ropes for a pin attempt that only gets him a count of one. Hammerstone hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex to shift the momentum in his team’s favor.

George Iceman is shown looking nervous, in fear of Rosemary and her knife showing up again. Grace and Hammerstone end up alone in the ring. Hammerstone throws her out to the floor, where Ash hits a meteora from the apron. Back in the ring, Hammerstone gets Young in the Torture Rack for the win.

Josh Alexander Refuses To Explain His Actions At Slammiversary

We see “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander pacing back-and-forth backstage. He is up next. We head to another commercial break. When we return,. we see The System backstage. Alisha Edwards calls them the most dominant group in wrestling and says we will learn to trust The System.

Back inside the arena, Alexander’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring as split-screen footage of his actions in the main event of Slammiversary are shown. He settles in the ring and gets on the mic as fans break out in a “You suck! You suck!” chant.

Alexander reacts to the boos and chants from the crowd. He says they’re making it easy on him. He calls himself a proud Canadian but says they’re making him look forward to return to his home, a real city like Toronto. He tells them to shut their damn mouths.

He says, “You guys want an explanation for what I did at Slammiversary?” He holds the mic out and simply drops it. He stands with his head down in the middle of the ring. Fans start singing “Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey, Goodbye!” at him. He pretends to come back into the ring before leaving, but ultimately walks off instead.

Backstage With “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Wes Lee & The Rascalz

Highlights are shown of Wes Lee with The Rascalz on this past Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT. We then shoot to new X-Division Champion “Speedball” Mike Bailey for a backstage interview. He calls the win over Mustafa Ali in his hometown in front of 4,000 people the biggest win of his career.

Bailey says TNA was built on two things, the Knockouts and the X-Division. As he keeps talking, in walks The Rascalz, with Wes Lee. They talk about a potential six-man tag-team match, with the three of them against Bailey, Trent Seven and another partner. They all shake hands. We head to another break.

“BROKEN” Matt Hardy & ABC defeated The System (JDC, Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers w/ Alisha Edwards)

It’s main event time!

The theme for The System hits and out in red, white and blue come JDC, Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers, accompanied by Alisha Edwards. They settle inside the squared circle for our final match of the evening. Moose is not with them, which the commentators point out.

Out next come their opponents. First, the new TNA World Tag-Team Champions, ABC, Chris Bey and Ace Austin, make their way out. They stop half-way down the ramp and the lights go out. “BROKEN” Matt Hardy’s theme hits and out he comes to chants of “DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!”

Hardy and Myers kick things off for their respective teams. Hardy goes to work on the arm of Myers and tags in Austin, who picks up where he left off before quickly tagging Bey in, who does the same before very quickly tagging Hardy right back in.

All six guys end up brawling in the ring until Hardy and ABC dump the three members of The System out to the floor at ringside. Hardy leads fans in a “DELETE! DELETE!” chant as we head into a mid-match commercial break.

When we return, we see Hardy and ABC still in control of the action until some cheap heel tactics from The System results in them taking over. Moose makes his way down to ringside, but soon after, the theme for Joe Hendry hits and the crowd goes nuts as he heads down to the ringside area.

As The System continues to control the offense, the show shifts gears and heads into a mid-match commercial break. Fans try and rally behind the babyfaces with an “ABC! ABC!” chant, as Bey remains isolated in the ring while JDC, Myers and Edwards utilize frequent tags to keep a fresh man on him at all times.

Bey hits an enzugiri that buys him some much-needed time. The fans rally behind him again, and this time he makes it to his corner for the tag. Hardy comes in with a ton of energy, taking it to JDC. All six men end up in the ring together.

Moose hits the ring, looking to take out Hardy, but hits his own guy. Hendry hits the ring and takes out Moose. Hardy hits Twist of Fate on JDC and tags in Bey, who hits a top-rope splash for the victory. They all pose together in the ring as the show goes off the air. Thanks for joining us, and don’t forget to follow me on Twitter/X.

PCO defeated AJ Francis in a Montreal Street Fight to capture the TNA Digital Media & Canadian International Heavyweight Championship

AJ Francis of First Class makes his way out for a double title tilt. The cinematic experience-style black-and-white ring entrance for PCO is next for this TNA Digital Media and Canadian International Heavyweight Championship contest.

“The French-Canadian Frankenstein” emerges from his trademark coffin to a rock star reaction from the Montreal crowd. Fans chant “PCO! PCO!” as he makes his way down to the ring. The bell sounds and off we go. PCO immediately charges and dives into Francis to start things off with a bang.

He hits a big spot on the hard part of the ring apron and then hits a top-rope PCO-sault for a huge pop and chants of “PCO! PCO!” from the crowd. He pulls out a table from under the ring as Rich Swann hits PCO from behind. PCO no-sells it and turns around as fans chant “You f*cked up!” at him.

The temporary distraction is enough for Francis to take over control of the offense. He rocks PCO and then Swann helps him set up a second table next to the initial table that PCO pulled out moments ago. PCO recovers and fights back before anything happens.

Francis pulls a trash can out from under the ring and blasts an unsuspecting PCO with it to shift the momentum back in his favor. After some back-and-forth action, PCO throws Francis off the top-rope through the side-by-side tables, which quickly explode into 100,000 toothpicks and wood splinters.

Joey Bishop beats down PCO with a steel chair. He hoists PCO up and hits a Razor’s Edge on the unfolded chair in a spot that looked absolutely awful for “The French-Canadian Frankenstein.” If he’s not injured, it’s a miracle.

Sami Callihan tries to come out for the save, but is attacked by Swann and thrown into the ring, which is filled with chairs, baseball bats, trash cans and other goodies. Swann raises a baseball bat above his head but before he can use it, Rhino’s theme hits and “The War Machine” comes out to a big pop.

He hits a gore on Swann that turns the First Class member inside-out. Fans react big to that and then shift to another “PCO! PCO!” chant. PCO somehow rises to his feet and throws a lifeless Francis back into the ring. He climbs to the top-rope backwards and hits a big PCO-sault, but only gets a two-count.

Everyone in the building bought into that as the finish. Francis hits a blatant thumb to the eye of PCO and follows it up with a tombstone piledriver. He crosses PCO’s arms for The Undertaker-style pin, but PCO kicks out.

Francis calls for the Down Payment chokeslam, but PCO reverses and chokeslams Francis onto a pile of chairs. He climbs back to the top-rope and hits another PCO-sault, this time for the win. After the match, Steph De Lander comes out and joins PCO in the ring.

She gets on the microphone and gets down on one knee. She proposes. “PCO, will you marry me?” PCO says yes in French. The commentators hype an unholy undead wedding coming up with these two in the future.

Jordynne Grace defeated Ash By Elegance to retain the TNA Knockouts Championship

The pre-match video package for the TNA Knockouts Championship match airs to set the stage for the next match of the evening. After it wraps up, George Iceman brings out Ash By Elegance. The reigning, defending champion Jordynne Grace is out next.

The bell gets things started and after some back-and-forth action, we see Iceman getting involved from the ringside area. Out of nowhere, Rosemary comes down through the crowd as the referee ejects Iceman and sends him to the back. Rosemary reveals she has a knife and chases behind Iceman with it.

Back in the ring, Ash is dominating the offense after capitalizing on the chaos outside of the ring moments ago. She stomps on the spine of a grounded Grace repeatedly on the hard part of the ring apron. Grace fights back and hits Shades of Samoa, which is essentially a Muscle Buster, for a two-count.

Grace and Ash head to the top-rope, where “The Juggernaut” hits a huge stalled super-plex on Ash and follows up with a Juggernaut Jackhammer for a close two-count. Ash fights back and hits some big high spots, but crashes on the raised knees of Grace after attempting her top-rope finisher.

We see a big Sliced Bread spot off the top-rope by Ash for a super close two-count of her own. Following another minute or two of back-and-forth action, Grace hits her Juggernaut Driver for the pinfall. With the win, Grace retains her TNA Knockouts Championship in a hard-fought battle.

“Speedball” Mike Bailey defeated Mustafa Ali to capture the TNA X-Division Championship

After the pre-match video package wraps up, we see the “X-Factors” tale of the tape-style graphic flash on the screen to get us ready for our next match of the evening, which features the TNA X-Division Championship on-the-line.

The crowd gave “Speedball” Mike Bailey a rock star reaction coming out, and again when being introduced by the ring announcer before the bell. After things get underway, Bailey jumps into the early offensive lead, taking it to Mustafa Ali as the Montreal fans eat it up with a spoon.

Bailey sweeps Ali’s legs out from under him on the ring apron and then hits a wild middle rope moonsault to Ali on the outside of the ring. Ali takes over control of the offense a bit after that, while dealing with “F*ck Ali!” chants from the fans.

Bailey ends up recovering and hitting a huge shooting star press off the top-rope for a close nearfall attempt. Fans chant “Fight forever!” as the action continues. Ali hits a big super kick to a grounded Bailey that sends him to the floor.

Ali and Bailey end up on the top-rope, where Bailey hits a Super Spanish Fly that sees the two land on a pile of Ali’s Secret Service guys at ringside. Bailey goes for another shooting star press back in the ring, but after leaping off the top, he flips right into a big knee from Ali.

“Speedball” hits a big spot and follows up with his top-rope finisher. He goes for the pin and it looked like he got the three, with the big pop and his theme music even playing. Unfortunately, Ali got his foot on the ropes in time and the referee saw it.

Bailey tries hopping back on Ali for the win, but Ali hangs on. Bailey ends up accidentally knocking out the referee. Four of Ali’s Secret Service guards surround the ring and one-by-one, Bailey takes them all out, only for Campaign Singh to knock him out with a belt shot.

Ali follows up with a top-rope 450 splash. He hits a second one and then the referee, who is still out of it, begins counting, only to be yanked out to the floor before he hits three. A masked man removes his mask to reveal he is Trent Seven.

Seven takes out Ali’s guards and hits Campaign Singh with a DDT to the floor. Ali dives through the ropes to take out Seven. He grabs a steel chair from under the ring and blasts Seven’s leg with it. Ali brings out Earl Hebner, the infamous “You Screwed Bret” referee from the Montreal Screwjob. The crowd boos like crazy. Ali puts Bailey in the Sharpshooter, but Hebner hesitates letting history repeat itself.

Bailey ends up escaping and locking Ali in the Sharpshooter and Hebner calls for the bell. We have a new TNA X-Division Champion. “And Earl Hebner redeems himself in Montreal,” says Tom Hannifan on commentary with an excitement that doesn’t match the 27 years that have already gone by and the 10,000 callbacks to this over the years.

Nic Nemeth won a six-way main event to become the new TNA World Champion

After a backstage segment sees Santino Marella make a match for the post-Slammiversary episode of TNA iMPACT, the pre-match video package airs to set the stage for the six-way world championship main event of the evening.

All six guys stare each other down after the bell sounds to get things started, all-the-while the sold out Montreal crowd is loudly chanting “We Believe!” Moose tries aligning with Frankie Kazarian, but he’s having none of it.

Instead, all five challengers rush Moose and gang up on him in the corner. They knock him out of the ring and then everyone swarms on Kazarian and does the same thing. Hendry hits a big stalled suplex on Kazarian for an even louder “We Believe!” chant.

Nemeth and Hendry end up as the only two left in the ring after Alexander and Maclin brawl out to the floor. Alexander gets some showcase spotlight time, hitting his Kurt Angle-style series of suplexes on any-and-everything that moves.

Nemeth gets another turn for a series of high spots that pops the packed house in Montreal. Hendry takes over and takes control of the offense for some crowd-pleasing moves until Maclin takes over and gets his turn in the offensive driver’s seat.

Moose ends up taking over and he hits a big spear to Maclin for the first elimination of the match. Maclinb now heads to the back and the other five continue until one man is left standing as the TNA World Champion.

Fans sing “Hey hey hey, goodbye!” as Maclin heads to the back flipping the crowd off. Once again we see Kazarian try to strike a deal with Moose. Moose hits a uranage instead. Moose trades shots with Hendry before sending him into the turnbuckles with authority.

Hendry looks for the Standing Ovation on Moose, but Moose fights back and hits a power bomb. Moose and Alexander brawl and then Moose sits him on the top-rope. Moose slips off the ropes, prompting the crowd to get on his case briefly.

He hits a power bomb to Kazarian from the floor to the hard part of the ring apron. All of the guys end up brawling in different spots around the ring. Moose, Kazarian and Nemeth end up at the top of the entrance ramp. Kaz and Nemeth battle back-and-forth teasing a bump off the stage.

In the end, it was Nemeth who hit Kaz with a super kick that sent him sailing off the stage and crashing and burning through a table way down below. Back in the ring, Moose Donkey Kong’s Kazarian into the mat and then chokeslams Nemeth onto him.

Hendry appears behind Moose and nearly takes him out for an elimination, however the champ hangs on. Hendry hits a fall-away slam on Alexander and then one on Nemeth. Moments later, Hendry hits his Standing Ovation on Moose for a pinfall.

Moose is eliminated. The crowd goes nuts as a new champion is now guaranteed by the end of this match. As the action continues, Alexander blasts Hendry with a blatant low blow and then a C4 Spike to pin him for another surprise elimination.

Fans go from booing to very, very loudly chanting “Bullsh*t! Bullsh*t!” Alexander continues to viciously beat down Hendry after eliminating him. Alexander yells about being the heart and soul of TNA. Nemeth ends up eliminating him seconds later.

We’re down to Nic Nemeth and Frankie Kazarian as the final two. Kazarian comes close to finishing Nemeth off a few times, however in the end, it was Nemeth who connected with the Danger Zone finisher for the victory. With the win, Nemeth is the new TNA World Champion.

The reaction from the crowd, who clearly wanted a Hendry win tonight, was pretty flat. Ryan Nemeth, Jordynne Grace, PCO, Steph De Lander, ABC and others come out to celebrate with Nemeth in his crowning moment in TNA. That’s how the 2024 TNA Slammiversary show goes off the air. Thanks for joining us, and don’t forget to follow me on Twitter/X.

Jordynne Grace hypes big surprises for TNA Slammiversary

According to Jordynne Grace, TNA Wrestling has some surprises in store for this weekend’s Slammiversary pay-per-view.

Slammiversary takes place from the Verdun Auditorium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, this Saturday night. Ahead of the PPV, Grace spoke with Sports Illustrated and hyped that there will be big surprises.

“The surprises are going to be even bigger than people realize,” Grace said. “TNA and NXT do surprises better than any other promotion. I don’t think anyone can argue that. If you’re tired of accidentally reading spoilers, watch Slammiversary. Our goal is to make fans fall back in love with wrestling.”

Grace is defending her TNA Knockouts Championship against Ash By Elegance (the former Dana Brooke) at Slammiversary. Both have appeared for NXT during the WWE-TNA partnership. Joe Hendry, Frankie Kazarian, and The Rascalz have appeared in NXT as well.

NXT’s Tatum Paxley and Izzi Dame are among the NXT wrestlers who have competed for TNA during the partnership, losing to Grace in open challenges for the Knockouts title.

Though the working relationship between TNA and NXT is still new, Grace hopes that it leads to a Worlds Collide event down the line.

“I’ve mentioned this before–my big dream is to have a Worlds Collide pay-per-view,” Grace said. “I think that’s going to be a slow build. And the world probably isn’t ready, but when it happens, they’re going to see TNA beat NXT.”

Slammiversary will be headlined by a six-way elimination match with Moose defending his TNA World Championship against Hendry, Kazarian, Josh Alexander, Nic Nemeth, and Steve Maclin.

Izzi Dame answers Jordynne Grace’s TNA Impact open challenge

Izzi Dame became the latest NXT wrestler to appear in TNA on Thursday’s Impact episode.

Dame answered Jordynne Grace’s open challenge for a Knockouts World Championship match on Thursday’s TNA Impact, appearing as a surprise opponent in a losing effort.

Grace pinned Dame after hitting the Juggernaut Driver in a match that served to further the angle between Grace and Ash by Elegance, as Ash will challenge Grace for the Knockouts title at Slammiversary on July 20.

Ash was shown watching the Grace vs. Dame bout “via satellite” throughout.

Dame was one of several NXT wrestlers to appear on Thursday’s episode, which also included No Quarter Catch Crew’s Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne & Tavion Heights. The NQCC will face The Rascalz & a mystery partner on next week’s Impact.

TNA star Joe Hendry was a surprise tag team partner for Trick Williams on this week’s WWE NXT show, as the talent trading relationship between the two promotions continues.

TNA Impact live results: Jordynne Grace open challenge, Charlie Dempsey in action

TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will continue to put up her title against any and all comers as she issues another open challenge on tonight’s edition of Impact.

Grace is coming off a victory over NXT’s Tatum Paxley at last month’s Against All Odds and with stars from both brands crossing over without warning, it’s anyone’s guess who could answer the challenge tonight.

One of those crossing over is NXT’s Charlie Dempsey who made a surprise appearance last week, interfering in a match between Trey Miguel and Leon Slater. Dempsey will now face Miguel’s partner Trey Wentz tonight just two days after Wentz and Miguel reunited The Rascalz with Wes Lee on NXT TV.

A Slammiversary X-Division title shot is on the line in a three-way with “Speedball” Mike Bailey vs. Jonathan Gresham vs. KUSHIDA.

JDC — aka the former Dirty Dango — will be in singles action against Chris Bey while Digital Media Champion AJ Francis defends against Rhino.

Our live coverage begins at 8 PM Eastern.

Frankie Kazarian: What Are You Filming?!

This week’s show starts where last week’s show ended. We see cinematic experience-style footage picking up with Frankie Kazarian reacting to The System questioning who attacked Nic Nemeth. “Marks…hey, what are you filming?!” were the last words as the show went off the air on 7/4.

On 7/11, the show started with the continuation of that shot, which shows Ryan Nemeth holding a camera phone at Kazarian. He pops up and asks what he’s gonna do about it. Nic Nemeth is then shown in a dark alley waiting for him. He proceeds to beat him down until it is broken up.

Jordynne Grace (C) defeated Izzi Dame in an Open Challenge to retain the TNA Knockouts Championship

Inside the Impact Zone, the theme for Jordynne Grace hits and out comes “The Juggernaut” for her advertised TNA Knockouts Championship Open Challenge. She settles in the ring to chants of her name and then in a dramatic delay, we hear Gia Miller introduce Izzi Dame as the person answering the challenge.

The WWE NXT Superstar makes her way out and heads to the ring to give Grace her latest title challenge in the latest TNA and NXT crossover. The commentators remind us that fellow WWE NXT Superstar Charlie Dempsey will be in action later against Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz.

After the bell starts things off, the match is immediately paused as George Iceman comes out to a ton of heat from the fans in the Impact Zone. He mentions Ash By Elegance is on vacation, but he has good news, she will be watching via satellite from a beautiful luxury resort on a sandy beach that none of us degenerates could afford.

We see a small box in the bottom left corner of the screen that shows Ash By Elegance sipping a drink in a bikini as Dame and Grace lock up to get the first match of the evening underway. After a slow start, Grace hits a big inverted side-suplex to pop the crowd.

She blasts Dame out of the ring and goes to dive through the ropes for a spot, but almost tied herself up in the process. Whoops! She ends up on the floor, where Dame attempts to run her into the ring-post, only for Grace to reverse things and send the WWE NXT Superstar into the steel instead.

Fans chant “Jordynne’s Gonna Kill You!” as she stalks her prey. George Iceman gets a little too close for comfort for “The Juggernaut,” so the TNA Knockouts Champion confronts him. Iceman backs off and ends up backing up into Rosemary, who appears from the crowd and chases him to the back.

Back inside the ring, fans chant “Let’s go Jordynne” as Dame hoists her upside down and repeatedly slams her face-first into the middle turnbuckle. She sits her on the top-rope for a super-plex attempt, but Grace headbutts her down. Dame fights back and hits a stalled falcon arrow for a two-count.

Dame looks for a piledriver as fans chant “TNA! TNA!” but Grace counters with a back body-drop. She hits a powerful clothesline on Dame in the corner. She goes for a running elbow but Dame gets out of the way. Ash By Elegance’s little satellite window pops up in the bottom corner of the screen again as Grace goes rampage-mode with ground and pound on Dame on the mat.

She goes for the Juggernaut Driver, but Dame counters. The two trade shots from their knees back to their feet. A spinning back-fist by Grace stuns Dame. A big boot by Dame stuns Grace. Grace hits a Juggernaut Driver seconds later for the pinfall victory to retain her title in a good opening match.

Santino Marella Makes Wild Card Tag-Team Main Event Announcement

Santino Marella is shown looking pumped up backstage ahead of an announcement he will be making on the other side of the first commercial break of the evening.

When the show returns, he says the main event this evening will be a wild card tag-team match. It will be Josh Alexander and Joe Hendry joining forces to take on Steve Maclin and TNA World Heavyweight Champion Moose of The System.

Charlie Dempsey defeated Zachary Wentz (w/ Trey Miguel)

From one match with a WWE NXT Superstar directly into another we go, as The Rascalz’ theme hits and out comes Zachary Wentz accompanied by Trey Miguel for singles action. The two settle in the ring fresh off their appearance on WWE NXT on Tuesday night.

The TNA commentators promote The Rascalz vs. Gallus in six-man tag-team action for next week’s WWE NXT show. Charlie Dempsey from the No Quarter Catch Crew in WWE NXT makes his way out next to loud “NXT! NXT!” chants. The bell sounds and our second bout of the evening gets underway.

The two lock-up and Dempsey immediately isolates the arm of Wentz and goes to work on wrenching away at it. Wentz frees himself and uses his speed off the ropes to dropkick low at Dempsey and take over on offense. He hops up to the top turnbuckle for a seat but Dempsey blasts him with a hard shot and takes him down the hard way with a knuckle arm-drag.

He pulls Wentz’ arm in an awkward position, elbow up, and stomps on it as he settles into a prolonged offensive lead. Miguel tries leading the Impact Zone in a “Zach! Zach!” chant. Dempsey hits a gut-wrench suplex for a two-count before going right back to work on Wentz’ arm.

Dempsey hits a nice dragon suplex and goes to work on the arm of Wentz once again. He looks for a kneebar but Wentz scrambles. Dempsey hits a German suplex into a bridge for a pin attempt that gets a count of two. Wentz hits the ropes and blasts Dempsey with a knee-strike that shifts the momentum into his favor.

Wentz hits a big kick to a grounded Dempsey and a running shooting star for another two-count. Myle Borne from the NQCC shows up at ringside and provides an assist, which leads to Dempsey picking up the pinfall seconds later. After the match, the NQCC duo beat down The Rascalz some more.

The System Talk Forthcoming Business

Backstage, The System are dressed to the nines with gold over their respective shoulders. They talk about being an accomplished, dominant group. They boast getting ready to add ending the careers of The Hardyz after their return next week.

Moose talks about JDC’s business tonight against Chris Bey and his own Wild Card tag-team main event alongside Steve Maclin tonight. Once this wraps up, the show goes into the second commercial break of the evening.

Santino Marella Approaches NQCC Backstage

When the show returns, Charlie Dempsey and Myles Borne are shown backstage. Dempsey gloats about bringing backup after studying The Rascalz and learning that they use the numbers advantage to win matches.

Santino Marella tells the NQCC they will have a six-man tag-team match next week against The Rascalz and their partner, “Someone from our world who knows your world.” The quick backstage segment wraps up on that note.

“Speedball” Mike Bailey (w/ Trent Seven) defeated KUSHIDA and Jonathan Gresham to become No. 1 contender for TNA X-Division Championship

Back inside the Impact Zone, KUSHIDA makes his way out for the scheduled TNA X-Division Championship Eliminator. Out next are his opponents, “The Octopus” Jonathan Gresham and then “Speedball” Mike Bailey, who comes out with Trent Seven.

It’s time to find out who will move on to TNA Slammiversary to challenge reigning TNA X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali. The commentators point out the referee wearing special gloves due to Gresham’s inclusion in this match. Bailey takes the early offensive lead with machine-gun rapid-fire kicks with both legs to Gresham.

Fans chant “Speedball! Speedball!” as the Speedball Mountain member lives up to his name to the delight of the Impact fans in Philadelphia. The action continues on the floor between Bailey and Gresham, and then returns inside the squared circle where Bailey hits a missile dropkick and a running shooting star for a two-count.

After that, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break as the X-Division Title Eliminator continues inside the 2300 Arena. When the show returns, we see KUSHIDA looking for the hooverboard lock on Gresham and then Bailey.

KUSHIDA and Bailey trade a wild variety of different kicks. KUSHIDA hits a big high spot from the top-rope to the floor on “The Octopus.” Bailey hits a double knee moonsault onto KUSHIDA on the hard part of the ring apron outside of the ring ropes.

Gresham knocks Bailey off the top-rope to take over control of the offense. Gresham summons the black ink from his mouth with his hand. KUSHIDA fights the hand and sprays green mist from his mouth into the eyes of Gresham. KUSHIDA goes for the hooverboard lock on Gresham, but Bailey comes off the top-rope on Gresham for the pinfall victory.

With the win, “Speedball” Mike Bailey now moves on to challenge Mustafa Ali for the TNA X-Division Championship at TNA Slammiversary in Montreal. Campaign Singh and Mustafa Ali show up with Ali’s secret service to attack Bailey and Seven from behind after the match.

They hold Bailey while Ali yells “actions have consequences” (isn’t that one taken? cough, Solo Sikoa and Bloodline, cough) and blasts him with a chair. He gets Seven in a Sharpshooter and cranks back while eye-to-eye with Bailey, who is being held by Singh-and-co.

Steph De Lander Has One Question For PCO: “Will You Wait For Me?”

Steph De Lander is shown on the beach in an old SNL “Deep Thoughts” style scene for a vignette showcasing the key moments of her ongoing love journey with “The French Canadian Frankenstein” PCO.

She says she needs to go home to Australia and tie up some loose ends. She has one question for PCO. “Will you wait for me?” After this wraps up, the commentators promote The Hardy Boyz vs. The System for the TNA Tag-Team Championships for next week’s show.

AJ Francis (C) defeated Rhino in a Philadelphia Street Fight to retain the TNA Digital Media Championship

Up next is the TNA Digital Media Championship bout scheduled for the show, but first, another commercial time out. When the show returns, Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt run down the current lineup for TNA Slammiversary 2024.

The theme for Rhino hits and out comes the ECW and Philadelphia-area wrestling legend for his scheduled title opportunity against the centerpiece of First Class. AJ Francis makes his way out accompanied by Rich Swann, cutting a boastful promo as they head to the ring.

Francis touts being the longest-reigning International Wrestling Champion of the modern era. He gloats about his fighting spirit for giving Rhino a title opportunity. He takes some cheap shots at Philadelphia sports teams upon entering the ring, and this prompts Rhino to ambush him for the hot start to this one.

We hear a loud “ECW! ECW!” chant as Rhino has Francis down. He backs into the corner looking for a gore, but Swann hits the ring and attacks him. Francis joins in and the First Class duo beat down Rhino as the crowd loudly boos.

Santino Marella comes out and stops things and says because they’re in Philadelphia, this one isn’t over, in fact it will continue as a Philadelphia Street Fight. With that said, Rhino attacks Francis from behind and the match spills out to the floor.

Rhino pulls out a table but Francis blasts him with a foreign object to take over. He takes too long gloating to the fans in the Impact Zone, and turns around into a chair being thrown into his grill, Sabu-style, by Rhino. Fans chant “We want tables!” and Rhino obliges, sliding one into the ring.

He leans the table in the corner but then is blasted by a blatant low blow from Francis, who quickly covers him for the pinfall victory, which he earns his cheap heat finish fashion. He and Swann continue to beat down Rhino afterwards until the lights go out.

When the lights come back on, PCO appears behind First Class for a big pop. He attacks Francis and begins to beat him down but ends up dumped out on the floor. Francis gets in his face and holds up the International Heavyweight Championship he desires before leaving him laid out on the ramp. The show heads into another commercial break.

Gisele Shaw defeated Tasha Steelz

When the show returns from the break, Tasha Steelz makes her way to the ring for one-on-one action in our next match of the evening. Out next is her opponent, Gisele Shaw. Steelz ends up attacking Shaw outside of the ring before the bell sounds to get things started.

When the smoke clears and the dust settles, the two get into the ring and the bell finally sounds to get things officially started. Shaw fights from underneath early on, as the commentators remind fans Steelz is a former Knockouts Champion.

Steelz continues to control the action until she comes off the ropes with a full head of steam into a quick Dustin Rhodes-style snap-suplex from Shaw for a two-count. Shaw hits a cutter and a close-range knee before following up with her finisher for the pinfall victory in a quick and basic match.

Gia Miller Interviews Xia Brookside

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Xia Brookside. Brookside talks about how Alisha Edwards cost her a win in her last in-ring performance on Impact. She vows to get revenge for that next week.

She is asked about Steph De Lander and if she’ll be able to come back after the heinous attack from First Class. Brookside says she will and that one thing is for sure, “true love conquers all.” After this, the show heads into another advertising time out.

JDC defeated Chris Bey

When the show returns from the commercial break, the theme for JDC hits and out comes Johnny Dango Curtis for our second-to-last match of the evening. He settles inside the squared circle and the theme for his opposition hits.

“The Ultimate Finesser” Chris Bey makes his way out accompanied by his ABC tag-team partner Ace Austin. The bell sounds and Bey quickly goes to work on JDC, blasting him with a flurry of strikes that suffocates his space.

He knocks him to the floor and hits a big flipping dive over the ropes, splashing onto him at ringside for a loud “ABC! ABC!” chant from the fans in the Impact Zone in Philly. Tom Hannifan says “turning Philly into Flip-adelphia.” You just stop it right now, Tommy-Han’s.

JDC catches Bey at the perfect time, sending him off the ropes and crashing and burning down below to the floor at ringside. Fans loudly chant “You suck! You suck!” at JDC as he gloats in the ring while Austin checks on Bey on the floor.

Back in the ring, Bey walks right into a Donkey Kong’ing from JDC, who settles into a comfortable offensive lead. Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards and Alisha Edwards are shown slowly making their way down to ringside as JDC uses a slow, methodical offensive pacing on Bey in the ring.

The System members end up in a brawl with Austin on the floor, which draws the attention of Swann, who hits a top-rope splash out to them at ringside. As the chaos continues outside of the ring, back inside the ring, JDC quickly finishes off a distracted Swann for the win. The show heads into another commercial break.

Moose & Steve Maclin defeated Joe Hendry & Josh Alexander in the Wild Card Tag-Team Main Event

It’s main event time!

When the show returns from the break, a vignette airs promoting The Hardy Boyz’ return for next week, as “BROKEN” Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy will challenge Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards of The System for the TNA World Tag-Team Championships next Thursday night.

Inside the Impact Zone, the familiar sounds of Joe Hendry’s theme hits and out comes one of the hottest rising stars in the entire pro wrestling industry right now for our Wild Card tag-team main event. The Philly crowd gives him the rock star reception coming out.

“The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander heads out next and settles inside the squared circle as Hendry’s partner for this tag-team tilt. Their opposition heads out next, with Steve Maclin coming out first, followed by TNA World Heavyweight Champion Moose of The System.

Before the match gets underway, Hendry cuts his trademark pre-match in-ring promo. He says he’s facing a couple of stars in Dancing Moose and “Tag’m and Bag’m” Steve Maclin. Hendry says after tonight, the only thing Maclin will be doing his bagging Joe Hendry’s groceries.

He says meanwhile all of Philly will be chanting “We Believe!” The fans in the Impact Zone oblige, as that very chant starts up. He finishes up with his catchphrase. The match gets ready to start, but is again delayed when Frankie Kazarian’s entrance tune hits.

As Kaz makes his way out to a ton of boos, the show heads into a pre-match commercial break. When the show returns, we hear that Kazarian has joined Hannifan and Rehwoldt on special guest commentary. Kicking things off for their respective teams are Alexander and Maclin, who get things started as the show heads into a break.

When the show returns from break, we see Moose and Alexander in the ring mixing it up. Alexander stops and points to Hendry, eliciting a “We Believe! We Believe!” chant from the Impact Zone in Philadelphia. Hendry tags in and he gives the fans something to believe in, as he quickly goes to work on the TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

All four men end up in the ring, where Alexander and Hendry go to hit dueling suplexes on Maclin and Moose. Alexander easily hits his but Hendry struggles to get the massive Moose up. Alexander tells him he believes and Joe muscles up the champ and holds him for a stalled suplex that pop the crowd.

Hendry goes on an offensive spree, hitting a number of trademark spots, including an impressive fall-away slam on the big man Moose. He does the stomp-stomp, clap crowd cat-call to get the “We Will Rock You” beat going inside the Impact Zone.

“The Walking Weapon” tags in and goes to work with Kurt Angle-style repeated German suplexes on Maclin. He turns Moose inside-out with a big clothesline as the TNA World Heavyweight Champion was coming off of the ropes with a ton of speed.

Hendry goes for the Standing Ovation on Maclin, but sees Kazarian hop on the apron. The distraction allows Moose to hit his finisher on Alexander. Maclin follows up with his on Alexander as well for the pinfall victory. The show goes off the air soon after that. Thanks for joining us and don’t forget to follow me on Twitter/X.

Jordynne Grace says her TNA contract expires early next year

Jordynne Grace has given details on when her contract is up.

In an interview for Gigantic Pop with former wrestler Matt Morgan, the TNA star said that her contract with the company was up early next year.

“I am under contract until January of this upcoming year,” she said.

Fightful reported that Grace’s contract was originally set to expire in the summer of 2025, but at some point the contract was amended to expire in January.

Having been with the company since 2018, Grace is currently in her third reign as TNA Knockouts Champion, having defeated Trinity (WWE’s Naomi) back in January of this year.

Grace has made several appearances in WWE during 2024, first appearing as a surprise entrant in the women’s Royal Rumble match. Ahead of NXT’s Battleground event in June, it was revealed that Grace would be challenging for Roxanne Perez’s NXT Women’s title. Grace lost to Perez after a distraction from Ash By Elegance (former WWE star Dana Brooke) and Tatum Paxley.

Jordynne Grace issuing another open challenge for TNA Knockouts title

Jordynne Grace is issuing another open challenge for the TNA Knockouts World Championship.

At TNA Against All Odds earlier this month, Grace retained her title against NXT wrestler Tatum Paxley. It’s now been announced that Grace will hold another open challenge at TNA Wrestling’s television taping in Philadelphia this Friday.

“Send me someone better than me,” she tweeted about the open challenge.

It remains to be seen whether the challenge will be answered by a member of the TNA roster or someone from outside the company.

Grace has held the Knockouts title since January. It’s her third reign with the championship.

Grace has played a key role in the growing relationship that exists between WWE and TNA. She appeared in the women’s Royal Rumble match this January and later had two matches for NXT, including losing to NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez at Battleground. TNA wrestlers Joe Hendry and Frankie Kazarian have appeared for NXT as well, competing in a battle royal on the June 18 episode of the show.

TNA is holding tapings at Philly’s 2300 Arena this Friday and Saturday. Here’s what’s been announced:

Night one (Friday, June 28) —

  • Jordynne Grace open challenge for the TNA Knockouts World Championship
  • Matt & Rebecca Hardy vs. Eddie & Alisha Edwards

Night two (Saturday, June 29) —

  • Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers vs. Matt & Jeff Hardy

WWE NXT’s Tatum Paxley answers open challenge at TNA Against All Odds

WWE NXT’s Tatum Paxley answered Jordynne Grace’s open challenge for a TNA Knockouts World title match at Friday’s Against All Odds event.

Paxley was the surprise opponent in Grace’s Knockouts title defense on Friday’s show, with Grace retaining with a Juggernaut Driver for the pinfall victory:

The NXT talent appearance at Against All Odds follows Grace challenging Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at last Sunday’s Battleground event. Paxley was part of a mid-match angle at Battleground where she tried to steal the Knockouts title belt before being thwarted by Ash by Elegance. Ash, the former Dana Brooke, watched the title match at Against All Odds from the ramp and was involved in a post-match angle with Grace.

Grace issued the open challenge first in an interview on Busted Open, then followed up on ensuing episodes of TNA Impact. Grace had heavily insinuated on social media that WWE’s Natalya would answer the challenge:

Our full coverage from Against All Odds is here.

TNA Against All Odds live results: Moose vs. Matt Hardy, Jordynne Grace open challenge

Matt Hardy will attempt to become a three-time TNA World Champion as he attempts to dethrone Moose on tonight’s Against All Odds from Chicago, Illinois, under “Broken” rules which is assumed to mean anything goes.

After her unsuccessful attempt to become WWE NXT Women’s Champion, Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace has issued an open challenge for tonight’s show which will likely be answered by a notable opponent.

TNA Tag Team Champions The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) will defend against Nic & Ryan Nemeth while X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali will defend his title against Trent Seven.

Rivals will become partners as Steve Maclin & Mike Santana will unite to take on The Rascalz, and Josh Alexander & Eric Young will team up against former tag champions ABC.

Joe Hendry goes one-on-one with Frankie Kazarian while PCO takes on former TNA World Champion Rich Swann.

The pre-show will see Knockouts Tag Team Champions Masha Slamovich & Alisha Edwards defend against The Hex, and Sami Callihan vs. Jonathan Gresham.

**********

Sami Callihan defeated Jonathan Gresham

The Countdown to TNA Against All Odds pre-show kicks off inside the Impact Zone in Cicero Stadium in Chicago, with “The Octopus” Jonathan Gresham immediately making his way out to the ring for the opening contest. Out next is “The Death Machine” Sami Callihan. The fight immediately kicks off with a bang.

Callihan and Gresham brawl at ringside. Callihan licks his hand and chops the hell out of Gresham before Gresham fights back and sends Callihan into the steel ring post, shoulder-first. The two continue to fight on the floor, where Callihan hits a vicious suplex.

Back inside the ring, Gresham takes over and starts to use his sadistic style of offense, biting and gouging away at Callihan. KUSHIDA ends up coming out in doctor’s gear. He takes a swipe inside Gresham’s mouth and took a sample of the ink to get to the bottom of what has been going on with Gresham as of late. The distraction sets Callihan up for a pile driver for the win.

Masha Slamovich & Alisha Edwards defeated Marti Belle & Allysin Kay to retain TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Championship

After a quick backstage interview with Moose, who talks about the antics he endured during his visit to The Hardy Compound last night on Impact, we return inside the host venue for our second match on the Countdown pre-show.

Kicking things off for their respective teams are Edwards and Kay. Edwards demands Kay tag in Belle. She does and Belle immediately suplexes her down to the mat. She quickly tags Kay back in, who works Edwards over in the corner. Edwards quick-crawls to her corner and tags in Slamovich. She charges into a big shot from Edwards, who follows up by whipping her into the opposing corner.

She follows her in with a big elbow. She slams Slamovich down and hits a senton off the ropes. Belle tags in and follows up with a big splash for a pinfall attempt for a count of two. The Hex work over Slamovich in their corner of the ring, utilizing frequent tags to keep a fresh person on her at all times.

While tied up with the referee, Edwards yanks the hair of Kay to bring her down to the mat from the apron. She tags in and goes to work on Edwards in the corner as fans start up an anti-System chant. Slamovich tags back in and blasts Kay in between the shoulder blades with a vicious kick. The two land a clothesline at the same time. Both are down and both make it to their respective corners for the tag.

Belle and Edwards hit the ring with a ton of energy, but it Belle who settles in the offensive driver’s seat. Fans chant “Marti! Marti!” as she hits running double knees on Edwards in the corner. Edwards hits the DeLish, but is immediately taken out by Belle from behind afterwards. Belle and Edwards trade shots and Kay hits a Saito Suplex. Belle goes for the cover but only gets two.

The Hex end up alone in the ring with Edwards. They go for X Marks The Spot, but Slamovich returns to the ring to make the save. Edwards pushed Kay into Slamovich and Belle looked for a roll up from behind, only to get a count of two. The Hex go for X Marks The Spot again, but on the follow-up pin attempt, Slamovich jumps over to break it up just in time. Fans chant “That Was Three!” afterwards.

Edwards power bombs Kay off the ropes in the corner. Slamovich gets Belle on her shoulders and Edwards hits a bull dog to bring her off the hard way. A follow-up pin attempt gets a three count. Masha Slamovich and Alisha Edwards retain.

Mike Santana & Steve Maclin defeated The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz)

Tag-team action kicks things off on the pay-per-view portion of the 13th annual TNA Against All Odds pay-per-view. Santana and Wentz start things off for their respective teams. Santana looks for Spin The Block early, but Wentz avoids it. Maclin asks for the tag, and Santana obliges. Wentz also tags out, bringing in Miguel.

Maclin tags Santana back in after a few moves, and the two go for a double-suplex. Miguel takes over on Santana when the dust settles, choking him in the corner and raking his eyes along the top-rope. Miguel tags Wentz back in for some double-team spots, and Wentz picks up where Miguel left off, taking it to a grounded Santana.

Santana gets back to his feet and chops his way out of the corner. Wentz turns him back into the corner and blasts him with some chops of his own, before tagging Miguel back in. Miguel hits a single leg drop kick to Santana for a two-count. The Rascalz take turns kicking Santana on his knees, but Santana fights his way free and tags Maclin back in.

Maclin hits a big Olympic slam on Wentz to shift the offensive momentum. He hits the ropes and runs over Miguel when he tries getting involved. He walks into a cutter on Wentz from the apron. Wentz hits a running shooting star for a nearfall, only getting a count of two for his efforts. Miguel goes after the eyes of Maclin on the apron while Wentz has the referee’s back turned.

Miguel decks Maclin with a big kick. He stands on his throat and taunts the crowd before tagging Wentz back in. Wentz dropkicks Maclin under the bottom rope and out to the floor. Wentz wraps Maclin’s arm around the steel ring post before Miguel takes over back inside the ring.

Miguel goes for a Meteora, but Maclin counters and tags Santana back in. Santana takes the hot tag and hits the ring like a man possessed, taking out any-and-everything that moves with chops and kicks. He hits a wild “two-for-one” DDT. He follows up with a rolling Buck-50. Maclin hits a big running knee for a nearfall that only gets him two.

Wentz leaps up to Maclin on the turnbuckle in the corner with a big knee. He tags out and The Rascalz hit a double-team senton spot for a razor-close nearfall attempt. The Rascalz hit a big double-team stomp off the ropes spot for another close pin attempt moments later. A loud “TNA! TNA!” chant breaks out. Maclin tags in Santana, who hits a big lariat and super kick.

He hits an enzugiri in the corner. Miguel has the spray paint, but Maclin drills him from behind. Santana hangs him upside down in the tree of woe in the corner for Maclin. Maclin and Santana hit Caught in the Cross-hairs. Santana follows up with Spin The Block for the pinfall victory to wrap up an excellent opener to set the tone for the evening. After the match, fans chant for Maclin and Santana to “Hug It Out!” They do.

“BROKEN” Matt Hardy With A Message For Moose

Backstage, “BROKEN” Matt Hardy vows to make The System obsolete after tonight and become a three-time TNA World Champion. He talks about the match with Moose being a Broken Rules match and says tonight will end in a twist of fate with him holding the TNA Championship of the world.

PCO defeated Rich Swann

After that wraps up, back inside the building the new TNA Digital Media Champion AJ Francis accompanies his fellow First Class member Rich Swann to the ring. He cuts a promo as they settle in the ring, claiming they are reporting live from the worst city in the United States — Chicago. He tells us to have no fear because he is our TNA Digital Media Champion.

He claims he wears a Bulls jersey despite hating Chicago because it’s a Scottie Pippen jersey and he’s the Scottie Pippen of this business. He says everyone talked about Michael Jordan, but Jordan didn’t win anything until Pippen showed up. The lights go out and “PCO!” chants spread as “The French Canadian Frankenstein” emerges after a cinematic Frankenstein entrance.

The bell sounds and PCO immediately goes to work on Swann, grounding the First Class member and isolating his leg. PCO hits some big shots and then comes off the ropes with a dropkick to the back of Swann’s head. AJ Francis grabs PCO’s foot from ringside, which allows Swann to take over. Swann knocks PCO out to the floor. He hits a 450 splash off the ring apron onto PCO on the floor.

Back in the ring, Swann chokes PCO on the middle rope and then ties up the referee so Francis can blast PCO with a cheap shot from the floor. Swann puts the boots to PCO and climbs up to the middle rope for another 450 splash. This time, however, PCO moves out of the way and starts to come back to life as fans chant his name. PCO plants Swann with a DDT.

With Swann on his stomach, PCO puts his boots on the middle rope to put his body in an incline. While laying like that, PCO hits a middle rope leg drop. He goes to follow-up, but again Francis gets involved at ringside. As PCO comes out after him, Francis knocks him off the apron. He rolls PCO back in to Swann, who heads to the top-rope. He takes too long though, and PCO crotches him in the corner.

He knocks Francis down and then hits a wild flipping dive through the ropes to take Francis out at ringside. PCO came awfully close to landing on top of his head on the way down. Back in the ring, PCO hits the top-rope PCO-sault for the pinfall victory.

After the match, Steph De Lander makes her way out and joins PCO in the ring. She pulls PCO’s love letter out of her shirt and talks about how he gave it to her a few weeks ago. She says everyone has been wanting to know what her answer is. Does she say, “No?” Does she say, “Yes?” Does she swipe left, or does she swipe right? De Lander tells PCO she made him wait long enough. Will she go on a date with PCO? Her answer is, “Oui!”

Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers (w/ Alisha Edwards) defeated Nic & Ryan Nemeth to retain TNA World Tag-Team Championship

The “tag lines” graphic is shown on the screen ahead of their ring walks. Ryan Nemeth and Brian Myers kick things off for their respective teams. Nemeth does well with Myers early on, and quickly tags in Nic Nemeth. Nemeth picks up where his brother left off, taking it to one-half of The System in the early going.

Edwards tags in and Nemeth works him over, until Alisha Edwards gets involved at ringside. This leads to Dirty Dango coming out from the back out of nowhere and Edwards being ejected from ringside and sent to the back.

When the dust settles, Myers goes to work on Nic Nemeth in the ring, starting a lengthy run of offensive control for the reigning and defending tag champs. Nic finally makes the much-needed tag to Ryan Nemeth, who hits the ring and starts to take over until Myers blasts him with a kick and tags in Edwards.

Myers hits a big spear on Nemeth and Edwards adds to their offensive lead as the legal man. Dirty Dango remained at ringside and is hanging out in the Nemeth corner on the floor. TNA World Champion Moose also makes his way out from the break and he remains at ringside as Nic Nemeth tags in and fires up on offense. He hits a Fame-Asser for a two-count.

Fans chant “F**k Your Mohawk!” at Edwards. Nemeth hits Danger Zone and this one appeared over. He went for the cover, but there was interference from ringside. Moose and Dirty Dango are shown looking around. As the referee deals with this, Dirty Dango shocks everyone and sneak-attacks Ryan Nemeth, leading to Edwards scoring the pinfall victory. Dango celebrates with The System afterwards.

Frankie Kazarian defeated Joe Hendry

Gia Miller talks with ABC backstage for a quick backstage interview to promote their match against Josh Alexander and Eric Young. We then see footage of Jordynne Grace’s ear being worked on by the doctor backstage before her TNA Knockouts Championship Open Challenge later this evening.

Back inside the ring, Frankie Kazarian is introduced for the next match. Joe Hendry comes out as fans sing along with the hit smash, “I Believe In Joe Hendry!” The commentators point out there is a giant Joe Hendry billboard in Scotland today. Hendry gets on the mic after “We Believe!” chants die down.

He says there was a tiny bit of speculation about if he would show up tonight. He says he chose to be in Chicago and in TNA. He mentions taking on a TNA legend tonight and asks if Kaz has ever told him he looks like Antonio Bandaras of pro wrestling. He says like him, he’s hanging on a little too long.

Hendry says Kazarian got to ask himself if he’s really the king of TNA or just the dad from Spy Kids. Fans chant “Dad from Spy Kids!” The bell sounds to start this one off, and Hendry immediately goes to work on the arm of Kazarian. Kazarian breaks free. Hendry goes for a suplex but Kazarian blocks it and chops him. Kaz then walks into a kick from Hendry, who again goes for a suplex.

This time Kazarian counters into a chicken wing attempt. Hendry escapes and slams Kazarian down to the mat as another “We Believe!” chant breaks out. Hendry hoists Kazarian up for a long delayed suplex. Kazarian fights back with a guillotine leg-drop and a clothesline. He enjoys a few minutes in the offensive lead. Hendry fights back and hits some of his trademark spots.

As Hendry goes to finish things off, Kaz reaches in his tights and loads his fist up. Hendry hoists him up for a back suplex over the ropes, but Kaz blasts him with the loaded fist to knock him unconscious. He falls on him for the cover and gets the three count in what came out of nowhere.

The commentators point out what happened on a replay after the match. Kazarian puts Hendry in a chicken wing to add insult to injury. Ace Steel runs out to restore order. Kazarian backs off but then shoves Steel when he turned around. Steel turned and decked Kazarian with a single punch to wrap up the post-match scene.

Mustafa Ali defeated Trent Seven to retain TNA X-Division Championship

The “Tale of the Tape” graphic for the X-Division Championship contest flashes on the screen, and then Trent Seven makes his way out for his big title opportunity. The reigning and defending TNA X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali is out next, as commentators remind us that Campaign Singh and “Speedball” Mike Bailey are banned from ringside for this match.

Before the match begins, Trent Seven informs Mustafa Ali, who got a huge hometown pop from the Chicago crowd, that things were still rolling when he and Tom Hannifan’s interview ended on Impact. The footage is shown, which shows Ali showing his true colors and that he has been disingenuous all along as expected.

When we return live, fans chant “What’d He Say? What’d He Say?” as the audio wasn’t super hot. Trent gets a fast start on Ali and tries pulling off the title upset victory within seconds, but Ali avoids being put away. The fight spills out to the floor. Ali tries scolding the commentators for the footage we just saw, but Trent blasts him with a big shot and then machine gun rapid-fire chops against the barricade.

Back in the ring, Ali shifts the offensive momentum back in his favor. Fans break out in a “We Still Love You! We Still Love You!” chant as he adds to his lead over the Speedball Mountain challenger. Ali leaps at Seven in the corner with a knee, but is caught and power-bombed into the mat for his troubles. Ali fights back with a neck-breaker that helps him take back over control of the action.

Seven fights back and hits a Bop-N-Bang in the corner. Ali fights back with a wild DDT to the knee of Seven off the middle rope. Ali hits a low blow behind the referee’s back and follows up with the Seven Star Lariat. He can’t get the three-count, however, and Seven starts to fight back into the lead. He hits a huge scoop-slam off the top-rope for a close nearfall attempt.

Fans break out in a loud “This Is Awesome!” chant, which transitions into a passionate “TNA! TNA!” chant. Seven goes for the Birming-Hammer, but Ali blatantly goes to the eyes of Seven to avoid it. Ali attacks the left leg of Seven once again. Ali climbs to the middle rope, but Seven stops him from the apron. Seven climbs up after him.

Seven shoulder-smashes Ali off the ropes and he crashes down below on the hard part of the ring apron before landing on the floor at ringside. Fans chant “Holy sh*t! Holy sh*t!” The referee gets to the count of nine. Seven rolls into the ring to avoid being counted out, but as soon as he does, Ali connects with a 450 Splash for a pin attempt. Seven kicks out. Fans chant “That Was Three! That Was Three!”

Ali heads out to the floor angrily looking for something. He gets his X-Division Championship belt and takes it into the ring. He goes to blast Seven with it, but the referee stops him and takes it. As the ref is getting rid of the belt, Seven blasts Ali with a blatant low blow behind his back. He follows up with the Birming-Hammer for a close nearfall, but somehow Ali kicks out to keep this one going.

Seven hits Ali with a loud back chop. He sits him on the top turnbuckle and blasts him with another one before climbing up after him. He hoists Ali onto his shoulders for a Super Birming-Hammer, but Ali goes to the eyes of Seven once again to escape. He knocks Seven down to the mat and flies off the top-rope with a 450 Splash to the legs. He follows up by putting Seven in a Sharpshooter and cranking back on the weakened leg for the quick tap out victory.

Frankie Kazarian Gets Chicago Street Fight For Thursday’s Impact

Backstage, we see a livid Frankie Kazarian complaining about Ace Steel. Santino Marella walks up and tells him to take it easy. Santino asks if he wants to get his hands on him. Kazarian says he wrestled in the 1970s, but he’s probably dirty. Santino ends up making a Chicago Street Fight between Frankie Kazarian vs. Ace Steel for Thursday’s post-Against All Odds episode of TNA iMPACT On AXS TV.

ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) defeated Josh Alexander & Eric Young

Tag-team action is up next. The ABC duo of Ace Austin and Chris Bey make their way to the ring. Out next is the first of their two opponents, Eric Young. “The World Class Maniac” heads to the ring with his mask on and hood up. His partner, “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander, joins him in the ring and the bell sounds to start things off.

Kicking things off for their respective teams are Young and Bey. Young, in his Team Canada style singlet, takes the early offensive lead over Bey. He stops to do the Too Sweet hand gesture, which Bey obliges by doing it as well. Young and Bey both tag out and Alexander takes it to Austin. Austin tags out and Bey takes a shot at “The Walking Weapon.” Bey hits a nice hurricanrana and follows up with another big shot.

Alexander tags out. Young comes in and immediately finds himself on the defensive. Bey tags in Austin. The two hit some double team spots and then Bey tags back in again to work over Young. Fans rally behind Young with “Super Eric” chants. He fights back and finally makes the much needed tag to Alexander. Alexander hits a big release German Suplex on Bey.

Young tags back in and the two hit a double team spot off the ropes for a two count. A grab down low on Bey gets a huge pop and subsequent “Holy Sht! Holy Sht!” chant from the Chicago crowd. Austin tags in and hits Click Click Boom. He fights off both Alexander and Young by himself for a few moments. Alexander goes for a cross-body under the ropes onto Austin on the floor, but Austin had it well-scouted and avoided it.

Alexander locks Austin in an ankle lock from the floor. Bey hits a dive to break that up. Young follows that up with a final leaping splash over the ropes onto the pile of bodies on the floor. Alexander and Austin are left alone as the legal two men in the ring. Alexander heads to the top-rope as fans chant “Please Be Careful!” Austin ends up locking him in an ankle lock. Alexander escapes. Austin tags in Bey.

He hits a back suplex as Bey hits a top-rope splash for a cool double team spot. Alexander ends up with Austin on his back. Austin slaps on a sleeper hold. Alexander fights that off while picking up Bey. He hits a suplex with Austin still on his back choking him. Young tags back in. He looks for a pile driver on Austin, but lets it go when he sees Bey on the ropes.

He ends up getting Austin and Bey over his shoulders at the same time. They both escape and hit stereo kicks on the TNA legend for a close two-count. Young and Austin run into a camera man in the corner and the feed goes out for a second or two, as color bars flash on the screen. Alexander hits a wild back-breaker on Bey for a close two-count. He tags in Young.

They hit a rolling senton and top-rope elbow drop double-team spot for a close pin attempt, which Austin breaks up just in time. Alexander goes for the C4 Spike. Young accidentally takes out Alexander going for a move, and Bey capitalizes by finishing him off for the pinfall victory. Really, really good match from these four.

Jordynne Grace defeated Tatum Paxley in an Open Challenge to retain TNA Knockouts Championship

The stage is set for our next match of the evening, which is one of the co-featured bouts. The TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace, who has been the talk of the wrestling town the past couple of weeks, heads to the ring for her advertised Open Challenge.

The commentators remind us she was getting stitches in her ear earlier tonight after her hard-fought battle at NXT Battleground 2024 against NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. Answering Grace’s open challenge, after a slight delay, is none other than WWE NXT Superstar Tatum Paxley.

As Paxley settles inside the squared circle as the mystery open challenge opponent for TNA Knockouts Champion Grace, the commentators remind us that she tried to steal the TNA Knockouts Championship at NXT Battleground 2024, before ending up in a pull-apart with Ash By Elegance.

Now the Personal Concierge of Ash by Elegance, George Iceman, comes out to interrupt the two before the match begins. He talks about the injustice she faced by Paxley. He says they won’t file a lawsuit. He then does his long drawn out introduction for Ash By Elegance, who comes out to get a close look at this match.

She takes a seat at the top of the entrance ramp and then the bell sounds to get things started between Grace and Paxley. The two lock-up and Grace muscles the NXT Superstar into the corner, where she gives her a clean break. The two lock-up again and once again the stronger champion muscles the challenger into the corner, giving her a clean break.

Grace continues to dominate the action, hitting some of her trademark spots. She goes for a Juggernaut Driver, but Paxley avoids it. Paxley hits her signature move off the ropes and then slaps a choke/headlock on Grace, which she focuses on the bad stitched up ear of the TNA Knockouts Champion.

Grace hits a Juggernaut Jackhammer for a close nearfall attempt. Ash By Elegance is shown watching on from the top of the stage as a loud “This is Wrestling!” chant spreads throughout Cicero Stadium. Paxley goes for a back-slide pin attempt, but Grace hits a back-fist to avoid it. Grace hits a Death Valley Driver and rolls through into a Juggernaut Driver for the pinfall victory.

After the match, Ash By Elegance runs down to the ring with her fist loaded with a foreign object. She goes to hit her with it, but Grace avoids it. She points out the bejeweled knuckles after taking Ash out. On the floor, she dumps her own champagne all over as she kicks and screams. The TNA Knockouts Champion heads to the back to wrap up the post-match scene.

Moose defeated “BROKEN” Matt Hardy in a Broken Rules match to retain TNA World Championship

After the TNA Knockouts Championship contest wrapped up, the pre-match video package for the main event aired to set the stage for the TNA World Championship contest, which will be under “Broken Rules.” No countouts, no disqualifications. “BROKEN” Matt Hardy emerges to a big pop and chants of “DELETE! DELETE!”

The reigning, defending TNA World Champion Moose is out next as fans in Chi-Town chant his name while he makes his way to the ring accompanied by The System members Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers and Alisha Edwards. The bell gets this one started and the two lead fans in dueling “Delete! Delete!” and “Moose! Moose!” chants.

Hardy and Moose start to mix it up, and we see Hardy start off strong. Moose fights back and takes over, but Hardy comes to life again out of nowhere and brings the fight out to the floor. Hardy connects with a Twist of Fate on Moose on the floor. Moose is completely out. Hardy takes a while to get the big man up and back into the ring. As soon as he does, however, Moose rolls right back out to the floor.

Hardy follows out after him, but Moose grabs a trash can lid and blasts him with it hard. He repeats this a few times and then Alisha Edwards is shown throwing chairs in the ring. Moose, meanwhile, slams Hardy on a trash can on the floor. Moose grabs a steel chair and wears it out over the back of a grounded Hardy at ringside.

Moose drags a steel ladder from under the ring. He heads over to the other side of the ring and reaches under, where he pulls out another chair. He heads over and blasts Hardy across the spine with it twice, just as Hardy was finally starting to get back to his feet. Moose then heads back to prop the ladder up on the ring apron. He unfolds a steel chair and lays the other side of the ladder on it.

Back in the ring, which is filled with dozens of chairs at this point, Moose goes to pick up a lifeless Hardy near the ladder bridge he just set up. Hardy blasts Moose with a low blow and then grabs one of the steel chairs and begins going to town on the TNA World Champion with it. Out on the floor again, the two fight through the crowd before returning inside the squared circle.

Once in the ring again, Hardy settles into a comfortable offensive lead. He has the TNA World Champion laid out and he climbs to the top-rope. Hardy leaps off and connects with a flying elbow smash for a close two-count. Moose starts to fight back and take over. He heads out to the floor, where he pulls a table out from under the ring. Moose puts the table in the ring and heads back in himself as well.

Moose leans the table long-ways against the turnbuckles in the corner. Alisha Edwards hands Moose another steel chair. Moose adds it to a massive pile of chairs. He brings Hardy up to the top-rope in front of the pile of chairs. He hits a super-plex with Hardy landing on the giant chair pile as fans break out in a loud “TNA! TNA!” chant. Moose goes for the cover, but Hardy will not die, as he kicks out at two.

Hardy recovers and takes back over on offense. He gets Moose off the top-rope and power-bombs him onto the giant pile of chairs for a close nearfall attempt of his own. Hardy heads out to the floor and pulls out a cardboard box from under the ring. Fans chant “What’s In The Box?!” Hardy puts it in the ring and begins to open it, when Moose blasts him in the back of the dome with a trash can lid.

Now the TNA World Champion heads over to the box and opens it himself. He smiles when he sees what it is. It’s his old football helmet. He puts it on, but sees Hardy recovering. He charges at him, but Hardy back-body-drops him onto the ladder bridge that Moose set up across the ring apron and an unfolded chair earlier in the match. Fans chant “Holy sh*t! Holy sh*t!” upon the crash-landing of the champ.

Hardy heads out to the floor and sets up a ladder before pulling out another table from under the ring. He then grabs a second ladder and sets it up on the other side of the table. Hardy climbs up to the top of the ladder and leaps off, putting Moose through the table down below with a flying leg-drop. After another “Holy sh*t!” chant dies down, Hardy rolls Moose back into the ring. Hardy is busted open and yells out, “I like the taste of my own blood!”

Fans respond with a “You sick f**k!” chant. Hardy unfolds a steel chair in the middle of the ring. He picks Moose up and hits a Twist of Fate onto it. He goes for the cover, but Alisha Edwards comes in with a kendo stick and blasts Hardy over and over again. Rebecca Hardy comes out to a big reaction from the crowd. She tackles Edwards and the two cat-fight in the ring. Edwards hits her with a kendo stick, but Rebecca fights back and hits a Twist of Fate.

Hardy recovers and gets back to his feet. He waits for Moose, who is in front of the table set up long ways in the corner, to get up. When he does, he charges at him and goes for a spear. Moose moves and Hardy spears his wife through the table. Moose follows up with a spear to Hardy and covers him for the pinfall victory to retain. The System re-join Moose in the ring to celebrate his victory.

Jeff Hardy Returns To TNA

They all hold their titles up high in the air. They aren’t satisfied with that, however, as they begin a post-match attack of Hardy and his wife, which includes them putting the boots to Hardy’s wife. Hardy covers her body with his own, ala Dusty Rhodes saving a young Dustin Rhodes from Ted DiBiase and Virgil. The theme for Joe Hendry hits for a big pop. He runs out to make the save, but gets guzzled up by The System almost immediately as well.

Out of nowhere, to the iconic sounds of his old WWE theme song, is none other than Jeff Hardy. “The Charismatic Enigma” comes out with some big specially designed steel chair, which he blasts over one of The System members before following up with Twists of Fate on anything that moves. He heads to the top-rope and hits a Swanton Bomb on Moose as the crowd in Chicago goes wild.

His legendary theme plays again as he and Matt Hardy embrace. Joe Hendry, Nic and Ryan Nemeth all join Matt, Jeff and Reby Hardy in the ring to pose as fans chant “TNA! TNA!” Matt Hardy leads everyone in a “DELETE! DELETE!” chant and then the credits roll to wrap up this year’s TNA Against All Odds pay-per-view. Thanks for joining us and follow me on Twitter/X.

Jordynne Grace: My dream is to have a WWE-TNA Worlds Collide event

Jordynne Grace would love to see WWE and TNA Wrestling come together for a joint event.

Grace has been at the center of a recent collaboration between WWE and TNA, appearing in the 2024 women’s Royal Rumble and later competing in two matches for NXT. She is the current Knockouts World Champion in TNA.

During an interview with Sports Illustrated, Grace revealed that her dream for the collaboration is for WWE and TNA to hold a pay-per-view together.

“My pie-in-the-sky dream is to have a Worlds Collide pay-per-view,” she said. “That’s something everybody — wrestlers and fans — would want to see.”

Roxanne Perez retained her NXT Women’s Championship against Grace at NXT Battleground on Sunday night. Involvement by NXT’s Tatum Paxley and TNA’s Ash By Elegance led to Grace losing the match.

At TNA Against All Odds this Friday, Grace is issuing an open challenge for her Knockouts Championship. She told Sports Illustrated that Paxley is welcome to come answer the challenge. Grace would also like to wrestle Perez again when the opportunity presents itself.

“I’d wrestle her 10 more times if I could,” Grace said about Perez. “I have a bone to pick with Tatum, too, and she can definitely come to this open challenge on Friday. Whether it’s WWE or AAA or Stardom or MLW, anybody is welcome in TNA.”

Against All Odds airs live on TNA+ starting at 8 p.m. Eastern time on Friday.

There could potentially be TNA involvement on next Tuesday’s NXT. A 25-man battle royal to determine the next challenger for NXT Champion Trick Williams will take place on the episode. WWE has teased that some of the participants could be from “different locker rooms.”

Jordynne Grace gets earring ripped out during WWE NXT Battleground match

TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace won’t forget her opportunity at the WWE NXT Women’s title at Sunday’s NXT Battleground for several reasons: one of which was her right earring being ripped out during the match.

The earring got caught on Roxanne Perez’s fishnets during the match which caused visible blood after it ripped out. Grace confirmed the injury on X Monday, sharing a picture of the aftermath and joking that after years of no issues, her ear piercings “will now retire from in-ring action.”

Grace was unsuccessful in her attempt to dethrone Perez and become a two-company champion in the process. She will now defend her title at this Friday’s TNA Against All Odds in an open challenge.

Two potential candidates are NXT’s Tatum Paxley and TNA’s Ash by Elegance who both got laid out by Grace during the match when Paxley stole her Knockouts title belt and Ash then made a surprise appearance to attempt to tear it away.

TNA’s Ash by Elegance appears during Women’s title match at WWE NXT Battleground

Ash by Elegance — the former Dana Brooke in WWE — made her presence felt during the NXT Women’s title match at Sunday’s WWE NXT Battleground, fighting with Tatum Paxley and getting laid out by Jordynne Grace for her trouble.

Paxley came out from the crowd and grabbed Grace’s TNA Knockouts title belt after eyeing up the NXT title, running into the entranceway to distract her. Ash then came out out to fight over the belt, leading Grace to come out to greet both of them with belt shots to lay them out.

Grace lost to Perez shortly afterward as she countered a Juggernaut Driver into a cutter followed by Pop Rocks for the pin and win. Ash then taunted Grace after the loss.

Her past with WWE never mentioned other than a quick Vic Joseph reference to “That’s Dana…Ash by Elegance.”

Ash was released by WWE in September 2023 while she was in NXT, ending a decade-long run with the company. She signed a contract with TNA in January of this year, first appearing at Hard to Kill. She has had just seven matches thus far (6-1) and has not got a shot at the title.

Grace has an open challenge for her TNA title for next weekend’s Against All Odds.
