Ash By Elegance announces she is set to undergo surgery shortly

Ash By Elegance revealed on social media that she is set to undergo surgery.

Elegance vacated the TNA Knockouts Championship at Victory Road 2025 and announced retirement due to her inability to compete in the ring. She shared an update on X with a picture of her at a hospital with the caption that she is heading into surgery.

“Surgery time! Prayers up! Adds to my story I will share & hopefully help others going through what I am! Trust me you are not alone!” tweeted Elegance.

While Elegance has discussed the health issues forcing a brief retirement earlier but the exact nature and cause is unknown. She mentioned doctors labeled it a medical mystery. Elegance made her in-ring return on the January 23 edition of TNA Impact in a tag team bout, reuniting The Elegance Brand against The Angel Warriors. Last month, she also competed at TNA Rebellion.

Ash By Elegance addresses health issue that led to brief retirement

Ash By Elegance has addressed what led to the brief in-ring retirement she announced at TNA Victory Road in September 2025.

At the time, Elegance vacated the TNA Knockouts Championship, with it only being stated that she was “no longer able to compete.” She returned to the ring in January.

In interviews to promote TNA Rebellion on April 11 in her hometown of Cleveland, Elegance said she is still dealing with health issues, noting that what led to her retirement has “trickled” into her current condition and is part of an ongoing issue she is still seeking a full diagnosis for.

Elegance said to The Generation of Wrestling podcast:

“I’m still going through it, which is crazy. You don’t have to have an injury. What I’m going through is a health issue. A lot of people, especially in my situation, I don’t look sick. I feel good today, but tomorrow might not. So, it’s definitely a health issue.”

“My issue is weird. They call it like a medical mystery. I’ve done so many things, I spent numerous days in the ICU that nobody really knows about because I haven’t put that out there yet until I honestly can find out really what this is. We’re on a good track now.”

“In the beginning, what had happened that kind of forced me into retirement has trickled now into this, and it’s kind of all adding up to being this one diagnosis. I’m just not going to say it yet until it’s really out there.”

She added, “I’m good to wrestle, it’s just sometimes it’s difficult because my body kind of goes a little wonky.”

She added that she will be undergoing more tests next week and is hoping to learn more.

During a separate interview with BCP+ to promote Rebellion, Elegance revealed that her health has been “shaky” for the last couple of weeks but she’s determined to make it to Rebellion.

“The last couple weeks have been a little shaky with me and my health. With that being said, I am more than determined, more than motivated. and wrestling is what keeps me going.

She continued:

“It’s unfortunate that I have to say it is health issues that I’m going through and once I have the proper diagnosis and everything, I am going to come out and share my story with everything that has been going on, because I am a very open and honest person.”

Elegance is scheduled to team with her Elegance Brand stablemates Heather By Elegance and M By Elegance at Rebellion in a six-person Hardcore country match against the TNA Knockouts dream team of Mickie James, Taryn Terrell, and ODB.

Elegance’s interview with The Generation of Wrestling and BCP+ podcasts are available below. The videos are cued to her comments regarding her health.

TNA wrestler received ‘death threats’ after retirement decision

Former TNA Knockouts Champion Ash by Elegance recently opened up about receiving death threats after retiring from wrestling last year.

Recently speaking to Denise Salcedo, Ash addressed her retirement decision and called it personal, later reflecting on those threats after the decision.

To be honest with you, it’s personal, and when I feel like I’m ready to share, I will share. I’ve always been transparent about my whole life but this is something that was very personal to me. It did result in retiring or vacating the title, and I just feel as though people like to butt into business where it may not be their business. When I say personal is personal, again, I will share when the time is right for me. But just know and I hope people respect that. It’s been difficult, I must say, reading comments online.

Majority has been super supportive, which I appreciate but, on the other side, people have been very negative. I have gotten, unfortunately, death threats and it’s scary at times because people don’t know what goes on behind closed doors and if you know me, you know how hard I work and you know how passionate I am about wrestling,” she added.

So, all I wanted to do was continue wrestling and I turned a negative, again, into a positive. I was very blessed to do a documentary called ‘Immersed’ and while everything was the high of highs, the lows came crashing down while filming that documentary so it captured some very vulnerable moments in my career that were all real, and everything that I do, I say is true and when the timing is right, I will come out and I will share everything that has happened to me within the past couple of months. It’s just I have to be mentally okay to share that.”

After a few months, the 37-year-old returned. Addressing her decision to come back, she claimed, “I definitely didn’t think I was going to return, especially this quick. When everything had transpired, I kind of had to mentally soul-search, and I was really able to just dig deep and know that I really needed to focus on myself, where I’ve always, in my entire life, personally and business, put others first.”

At this time, I needed to put myself first and prioritize things that were very important to my life — wrestling be the one thing and I’ve ever only been super active, whether it’d be in gymnastics, diving, bodybuilding, wrestling,” she said.

Last September, she relinquished her TNA Knockouts title and stepped away from in-ring action. However, on the second episode of TNA Impact on AMC, she got physical and announced her clearance to return.

The Elegance Brand (Ash by Elegance, Heather by Elegance, M by Elegance, The Personal Concierge & Mr. Elegance) is set to be featured on the upcoming Thursday Night episode of Impact.

TNA Wrestling announces re-signing of former Knockouts Champion

TNA Wrestling has re-signed Ash by Elegance.

The former Dana Brooke in WWE has been out of action since September but revealed that she “was back” on last week’s episode of Impact. Elegance announced the news in an interview with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture on Wednesday, also revealing she has been officially medically cleared to return.

“There have been so many amazing things that have happened in the last couple of weeks, since TNA’s debut on AMC.

“One of those things is that I got some amazing news from my medical team and the doctors – that I am medically cleared. And I am very excited to announce that I have re-signed with TNA.

“It’s great to have a company that’s behind me and is holding my hand every step of the way.”

TNA posted a video on Wednesday of Ash by Elegance signing her contract alongside Carlos Silva and Tommy Dreamer.

“I promise you, I’m not going to disappoint,” Elegance says in the video. She also alluded to the contract including a bonus should she regain the Knockouts World Championship.

TNA also confirmed the signing of Elayna Black on Wednesday.

Elegance vacated the TNA Knockouts World Championship at Victory Road on September 26, 2025, stating at the time that she was “no longer able to compete.” On last week’s Impact, Elegance got physically involved in an angle with the Elegance Brand and Indi Hartwell, Xia Brookside, and Lei Ying Lee. During a backstage interview, the group’s Personal Concierge said they should plan a “comeback party” for her return.

Ash by Elegance working toward in-ring return, reveals TNA Genesis role

Just as she was at the top of the TNA Knockouts division, Ash by Elegance had to relinquish the Knockouts title last fall and said she was going to retire.

Things have changed, however, and she is working toward getting medically cleared to return to the ring.

Talking to Busted Open Radio Thursday to hype up the TNA Impact on AMC premiere, the 36-year-old said she doesn’t have to prove anything but admitted she might have to in the ring.

“I definitely want to come back. I’m definitely working better than ever to become medically cleared again. Right now, I have taken a little bit of off-time to recover and deal with some medical issues, but I feel as though, the doctors… I never say never and I don’t let the doctors tell me no either. I’m always trying to prove them wrong and get back on my horse and keep riding to the top,” she said.

The retirement and title relinquishment happened at last September’s Victory Road, but the medical issues she referred to have yet to be revealed. At the time, she said she was “no longer able to compete” but has remained on TV and aligned with The Elegance Brand.

She also revealed she will be the co-host for this Saturday’s Genesis pre-show along with Busted Open’s Dave LaGreca.

Ash By Elegance says she’s ‘retired’ after vacating TNA Knockouts title at Victory Road

According to comments she made during a recent virtual signing, Ash By Elegance’s in-ring career may be over.

Elegance vacated the TNA Knockouts World Championship at TNA Victory Road, saying that she is “no longer able to compete.” TNA Wrestling stated in an injury update that details of her situation were being kept private.

During a recent virtual signing appearance with Rich Degregorio, Elegance referred to an item up for auction as the shirt she retired in.

“30 dollars for this top. It is worn with me and Paige VanZant but also this is the shirt I retired in. 30 dollars, my retirement t-shirt.”

At the very end of her signing, Elegance said “never say never” in reference to a possible return to the ring and also mentioned that she has been given some work backstage in TNA Wrestling.

“Thanks for always tuning in and supporting me. I might not be in the ring but I’ll still be busy. TNA has opened their doors for me and allowed me to do things backstage, just not in the ring. Never say never so maybe one day again but until then, thank you guys so much.”

Ash By Elegance’s first comments about retirement come in around the 1-hour and 17-minute mark of the video, which is available here, and her final comments about maybe one day returning are at the very end.

Ash by Elegance stepping away from in-ring competition, TNA Knockouts title vacated

The TNA Knockouts title has been vacated.

Ash By Elegance came to the ring during Friday’s Victory Road event on TNA+ and cut a promo saying that that she is no longer able to compete. As a result, she announced that she would be stepping away from in-ring competition and forfeited the TNA Knockouts title. An emotional Ash then handed the title to TNA President Carlos Silva and hugged him and Santino Marella as she made her exit.

Marella then announced that the planned Knockouts Tag Team title match at Victory Road would be moved to this Thursday’s Impact as a battle royal would take place on Friday to crown a new Knockouts Champion. NXT’s Kelani Jordan and Lei Ying Lee won the battle royal, advancing to a match later in the show to crown the new champion.

Originally, Ash by Elegance was set to defend the title against Masha Slamovich at Victory Road. However, any mention of Slamovich was removed in the week leading to Friday’s event due to allegations of domestic abuse. It was later revealed that Ash by Elegance would have an announcement to make at Victory Road.

Ash, 36, began wrestling in 2014 at the WWE Performance Center and competed in NXT and later WWE under the name Dana Brooke. After a long tenure with the company, she was released from WWE in September of 2023 and joined TNA the following February, forming the Elegrance brand with the Personal Concierge, Heather by Elegance, and M by Elegance. She won the TNA Knockouts title in a three-way involving champion Jacy Jayne and Slamovich back at NXT’s Heatwave event earlier this summer.

Ash By Elegance to make ‘special announcement’ at TNA Victory Road

Her initial plans for the show had to be scrapped, but Knockouts World Champion Ash By Elegance is still set to appear at TNA Victory Road.

TNA has revealed that Ash will make a “special announcement” on tonight’s Victory Road broadcast. She was originally scheduled to defend her title against Masha Slamovich at the show. Their match was pulled due to Slamovich being an under an internal investigation by TNA after it was alleged that she physically and mentally abused her former boyfriend AKIRA during their relationship.

“As revealed on social media, Ash By Elegance will make a special announcement at Victory Road,” TNA wrote. “What will the Knockouts World Champion have to say? Tune in to find out.”

Ash vs. Slamovich was supposed to be a no DQ match with Indi Hartwell serving as the special guest referee. Hartwell has earned the right to challenge for the Knockouts Championship at TNA’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view on October 12.

Formerly known as Dana Brooke during her WWE career, Ash By Elegance became the new Knockouts Champion by defeating Jacy Jayne and Slamovich in a triple threat match last month at NXT Heatwave.

Victory Road will stream live on TNA+ tonight with the main card starting at 9 p.m. Eastern. The show is being held in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada at the Edmonton Expo Centre.

Former WWE wrestler says she almost retired before TNA debut

TNA Knockouts World Champion Ash By Elegance says she almost hung up her boots following her WWE release.

The former Dana Brooke was with WWE for 10 years before being released as part of roster cuts in September 2023. In a recent interview with Metro UK, Elegance said the experience made her question whether she was cut out to be a wrestler.

“There was that feeling again where I’m like, maybe I’m just not made for this. Maybe I should hang my boots up, call it quits, and just figure out a different path,” she said.

Instead, Elegance focused on reinventing herself and developing the Ash By Elegance character. She debuted the gimmick in TNA at Hard to Kill in January 2024. Since then, she’s built the “Elegance Brand” faction, which includes her Personal Concierge (George Iceman), Heather By Elegance (Heather Reckless), and M by Elegance (Maggie Lee).

Elegance won the Knockouts World Championship at NXT Heatwave in a triple threat match against then-champion Jacy Jayne and former champion Masha Slamovich. She said the title win was the culmination of two years of work.

“‘Here I am! My hard worked showed two years later,” she said, also mentioning that it meant a lot to have NXT’s Shawn Michaels and Matt Bloom at the show.

“I wasn’t watching as a young kid, I started here [in NXT]. I grinded my way from the bottom all the way to the top, then to be able to come back and capture this title.”

She also mentioned that Bayley reached out to her following her Knockouts title win to offer congratulations.

“Bayley sent me such a cool message. She’s like, ‘I just want to let you know I’m so proud of you and you’re so effing cool’ I’ve always wanted to hold a TNA Title.’‘

”I feel like me holding the TNA title brings so much drive and hunger to girls that may have felt like they can never do it,” she added. “You just never know who’s going to show up, who’s going to want to come after this title. It’s awesome.”

On that note, the entire Elegance Brand will be on hand to celebrate Ash’s title win at NXT Heatwave.

In trios action, TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardys will team with Mara Sade against The Great Hands & Tasha Steelz.

After magically appearing at NXT Tuesday to aid Hank & Tank from Darkstate, Joe Hendry will be live in the ring with some thoughts to share about Eric Young’s recent attack on him.

Veterans Frankie Kazarian and Matt Cardona will compete one-on-one for the first time ever.

Our live coverage kicks off at 8 PM Eastern.

**********

Live! And free! From Minneapolis, Minnesota. I believe the building they’re in has a capacity of 8,000 and it look slike they barely filled the seats on the floor.

Tom Hannifan & Matthew Rehwoldt were on commentary.

Santino Marella In-Ring Promo. At the end of last week, Marella got into it with Trick Williams lawyer. Marella didn’t think with his head; he thought with his cobra. Marella announced that Trick Williams will defend the TNA World Championship against Mike Santana at Bound for Glory. Santana came out (wearing a TNA/Minneapolis “Strenght in Unity” t-shirt) to celebrate and promised to bring the TNA World Championship back home for his daughter, family, and all the fans of TNA. Trick Williams won’t be in back in TNA until Bound for Glory, so Santana promised to go find him. Santana cut a good babyface promo here.

— Gia Miller interviewed Mara Sadé and The Hardys, who are going to give the members of Order 4 the extreme beating they deserve in the main event later tonight.

— Moose wished Mike Santana good luck at Bound for Glory, and AJ Francis dimed out Santana for calling out Trick Williams. This led to a match between Moose and Francis for next week.

Frankie Kazarian defeated Matt Cardona (10:51)

Ryan Nemeth came out before the match to remind us that his big brother is returning tonight, but didn’t return here. Cardona told Ryan his big brother “sucks” and bopped him on the head with the microphone.

I know this show doesn’t stand a chance against the first football game in 7 months, but you’d think that TNA would have tried to use the 20 minutes there was no football on for something other than talking.

When the fight went to the floor, Kazarian used a still practically unconscious Ryan Nemeth as a human shield. Later, Nemeth tried to keep Cardona from getting back in the ring, so Cardona sent him into the ring barricade. But, the distraction allowed Kazarian to take control.

Kazarian whipped Cardona headfirst into the ringpost. Cardona teased getting counted out, barely being the count to get an easy pop from the crowd. Kazarian worked a chinlock for a bit. Cardona and Kazarian collided three separate times, hitting each other with crossbodies, clotheslines and big boots. Cardona started to mount a comeback. Kazarian ducked to the floor to avoid the reboot, but Cardona caught him anyway. Ryan Nemeth popped up to distract Cardona again, and Kazarian hit a slingshot cutter for a near fall. Cardona went for the Unprettier, but Kazarian escaped. Cardona hit a spinebuster for two.

Ryan Nemeth jumped up on the apron again, and this time Cardona brought him into the ring and hit him with the Radio Silence. When Cardona turned back to Kazarian, Kazarian caught him with the Fade to Black and got the pinfall.

After the match, Gia Miller tried to interview Frankie Kazarian. Frankie took the mic and interview himself while she stood there annoyed. Kazarian has his sights set on the TNA International Title. Kazarian insulted Steve Maclin’s military service, and Maclin chased Kazarian off.

— The IINspiration will be keeping a close eye on the Elegance Brand celebration later tonight.

The Elegance Brand Celebration. The other members of the Elegance Brand were in the ring, which was adorned in gold. A long distant (very long distant) relative of Picasso painted a portrait of the Ash with her Knockouts Championship. There was also custom champaign, “Elegance in a Bowl.” Ash took the microphone to cut a self-congratulatory promo, calling herself the “Savior of TNA” and insulting the former champion Masha Slamovich. Slamovich arrived and announced she’s getting a title match with Ash at Victory Road. Slamovich hit the ring and and got into a 3-on-1 fight. Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee come out to try and even the odds, but the Elegance Brand holds them off. Finally, the IInspiration ran out to chase off the Elegance Brand. And of course, the babyfaces destroyed the portrait of Ash.

The TNA Injury Report:

  • JDC remains out with a head injury.
  • Mara Sadé has been cleared after getting clotheslined by Agent Zero.
  • Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz have both been cleared of injury.
  • Trick Williams shows no signs of injury. Even so, he’s still complaining about the attack at the end of last week’s tag match.

— Mustafa Ali promised that anyone who opposes the Order 4 will be shut down, and that includes the members of The System.

Indi Hartwell pinned Jody Threat in a Triple Threat match which also included Dani Luna to become the #1 Contender for the Knockouts Championship at Bound for Glory.

TNA has been plugging “The Naked Gun” movie and I’m sure it’s not a coincidence they’re not mentioning Paul Walter Hauser’s role in it.

With Slamovich getting the title match at Victory Road, the winner of this match is getting a title shot at Bound for Glory. Threat hit both Hartwell and Luna with a tope to the floor. Back in the ring, Hartwell caught Threat with a boot. Hartwell went to the top, but Luna pushed her off the ropes. Luna hit a modified fallaway slam for a near fall. Hartwell tried to get back into the match and Luna dropped her with a Northern Lights suplex.

Luna clotheslined Threat to the floor, and Hartwell mounted a comeback against Luna. Luna came off the top with an elbow, but Threat broke up the pin attempt. Hartwell used Luna’s hand to backhand Threat. The crowd was behind Hartwell. Hartwell and Threat fought to the apron. Threat hit Luna with a somersault on the floor. Threat went to the top for something that missed, and they looked confused for a minute before Luna and Threat start exchanging small package attempts, and finally Hartwell caught Threat with a sunset flip pinning combination and held her down for three.

After the match, Dani Luna attacked both Hartwell and Threat. Nonetheless, Indi Hartwell will challenge for the TNA Knockouts Championship at Bound for Glory.

Joe Hendry Appears. Joe Hendry came out wearing a “Strength in Unity” TNA/Minneapolis t-shirt.  Hendry bragged about beating up The Miz on the WWE European tour and being the secret weapon for Hank and Tank on NXT. Hendry thanked the crowd for coming out to the show, then called out Eric Young. Young and his Northern Army members came out and Hendry a problem in TNA. Joe Hendry challenged Young for “right now!” But of course Young accepted for next week.

— Santino Marella is cooking up a big TNA X-Division title defense for Leon Slater now that the Rascalz are both cleared from injury.

— Trick Williams cut a promo on Twitter and said he’d rather be watching the Eagles/Cowboys came than be bothered with TNA right now.

The Hardys and Mara Sadé defeated Tasha Steelz & The Great Hands (John Skyler & Jason Hotch) (w/ Agent Zero) (12:59)

Sadé dressed like Lita. Jeff and Sadé gave a triple DDT to their opponents in a pretty cool spot. The Hardys might have been the most over act on the show. Sadé and Steelz squared off, and Steelz avoided a knee drop and sent Sadé to the floor. Back in the ring, Sadé caught Steelz with an enziguri.

Matt and Hodge got in the ring, and Matt deleted Hodge’s head into the turnbuckles. Matt hit a chop off the middle rope and called for the Twist of Fate. Agent Zero yanked Matt to the floor. The ref ejected Agent Zero. While Zero left, Hotch hit Matt with a tope to the floor.

Back in the ring, the heels took over on Matt Hardy. Matt dropped Skyler with a side effect, and tags were made to Sadé and Steelz. Sadé hit a nice looking powerslam for a near fall. Sadé went to run the ropes, but Hotch yanked her down by the hair and Steelz took control.

Steelz dropped a series of elbows for a near fall. There was a “Let’s go Tasha/Tasha sucks!” chant between like 4 people in the crowd.

Skyler cradled Jeff for a near fall. Skyler took the Poetry in Motion, a Side Effect and a splash off the middle ropes from Jeff for a near fall.  Jeff worked over Skyler with a side headlock. Hotch tried to help, but Jeff took them both out with Whisper in the Wind and got a near fall on both of them at once.

Matt caught Hotch with a modified Side Effect, but ate a slingshot spear from Skyler. With all the men out of the match, Steelz and Sadé took over. Sadé hit the “Finish Her,” but Skyler grabbed Sadé to give her the Great Hands finisher. Matt Hardy broke that up and gave Skyler the Twist of Fate. Sadé hit a moonsault, Jeff Hardy hit the Swanton and got the pinfall.

After the match, The Nemeths jumped the Hardys and took them out with the Danger Zone finisher. Sadé got in their faces, so Nic Nemeth superkicked her. The Nemeths held up the TNA tag team title belts to end the show.

Next week on TNA: Moose v. AJ Francis and Joe Hendry v. Eric Young.

TNA Impact live results: The Ash by Elegance title era begins

Tonight’s TNA Impact will feature the kickoff to the Knockouts title reign of Ash by Elegance in addition to several tag team matches.

Ash picked up the Knockouts title at last Sunday’s NXT Heatwave with her win over reigning champion Jacy Jayne and Masha Slamovich whom she pinned to win the title.

In trios action, TNA World Champion Trick Williams teams with AJ Francis against International Champion Steve Maclin and Mike Santana.

TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardys will face X-Division Champion Leon Slater and Cedric Alexander in non-title action.

Former Knockouts Tag Team Champions The IInspiration face NXT’s Fatal Influence of Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx.

Former TNA World Champion Eric Young faces The Rascalz’s Myron Reed while Mara Sade battles Tasha Steelz.

**********

Taped in Baltimore, Maryland.

Tom Hannifan & Matthew Rehwoldt were on commentary.

Mike Santana & Steve Maclin defeated AJ Francis & Trick Williams (12:24 aired)

Hannifan on commentary called Trick Williams being the TNA World Champion “a nightmare” while the crowd was chanting “Whoop That Trick!” along with William’s music. Santana clotheslined Francis to the floor, and Maclin sent Williams to the floor. Santana then hit a flip tope on both his opponents on the floor.

Back in the ring, Santana hit a tornado DDT for a near fall. Williams got the tag and suplexed Santana for a near fall. The heels cut off Santana from his corner and worked him over in their corner. Williams wore down Santana with a front face lock. When Francis tried for a back suplex, Santana flipped over him and got the tag to Maclin, who took control.

Maclin dropped Francis with an Olympic Slam. Francis ran into a boot. But after a distraction from Williams, Francis slammed Maclin to take control. Maclin took a hard whip into the corner, and Francis hit him with an avalanche. Francis hit a running knee in the corner and flipped himself over the top rope. Williams hit a dropkick and Francis dropped an elbow on Maclin for a near fall.

Francis ran into a boot from Maclin, and Maclin followed up with a middle rope dropkick. Santana and Williams tagged in, and Santana hit Williams with a flying lariat. Santana hit an enziguri, but Williams came back with pump kick. Santana hit a rolling cutter for a near fall. Santana ducked a leg lariat, and Williams dove into a death valley driver. Francis broke up the pin attempt, setting off a brawl with all four guys in the ring. Maclin and Francis tumbuled to the floor. Williams went for the Trick Shot, but Santana caught him with a rollup out of nowhere and got the pinfall. After the match, Santana tried to attack Williams, but he got away to the floor before Santana did any real damage.

— In the back, Cedric Alexander was sure that with all Leon Slater has learned about the Hardys, he and Slater could be the TNA tag team champions. Slater isn’t quite so sure.

Eric Young defeated Myron Reed (w/ Zachary Wentz) (5:56)

Last week on Impact, Eric Young reminded Myron Reed he was the expendable member of the Rascalz, which lead to this match.

Reed dodged a clothesline and caught Young with an enziguri. Reed hit Young with a Lung Blower that sent Young to the floor. Reed followed him out with a plancha. Reed consistently used his speed and agility to throw Young off his game until Young viciously raked his eyes. Young hit a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. While the match was going on, a man in the crowd wearing a ski mask held up a sign that said “The Cleanse is Coming.”

Young cut Reed down with an elbow. Reed countered a suplex attempt with Stundog Millionaire. Young went for a moonsault but missed. Reed hit a superkick. Young got hung up in the ropes, and Reed came off the top with a legdrop for a near fall. Young hit a powerslam for a near fall. Young then threatened to hit the ref, which brought Wentz up onto the apron. As the referee tried to get Wentz off the apron, Young caught Reed with a low blow. Young finished off Reed with a piledriver for the pinfall.

— Dani Luna is done being quiet and being passed by.

— Announced by Ava on NXT, Xia Brookside will take on Candice LeRae in the first round of the tournament to determine the next contender for the Speed Women’s Championship.

— Ash by Elegance saved TNA by bringing back the Knockouts championship that was held by a WWE wrestler (by pinning another TNA Knockout), and she’ll be celebrating live next week in Minneapolis. The Elegance Brand went off to plan the party.

The IInspiration (Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee) defeated Fatal Influence (Jazmyn Nyx & Fallon Henley) (6:22)

Fatal Influence double-teamed Lee for most of the match. McKay got the tag and took the fight to both members of Fatal Influence. Fatal Influence got a near fall off a double team Pele Kick. All four women brawled in the ring, and in a well coordinated spot, The IInspiration hit both their opponents with super kicks. Lee hit a spinning heel kick on Henley to send her to the floor. The IInspiration hit their finisher (the IIdolizer) on Nyx and got the pinfall.

The TNA Injury Report:

  • Indi Hartwell has been cleared after being attacked last week.
  • JDC is out with a head injury after his altercation last week with Agent Zero.
  • The Hardys, Leon Slater & Cedric Alexander have all been cleared for the main event.

— Trick Williams called his lawyer to deal with Mike Santana, who attacked him after their earlier match.

Eddie Edwards (w/ Alicia Edwards) defeated Ryan Nemeth (5:40)

Ryan Nemeth came out and announced that Nic Nemeth will be returning next week. He was interrupted by Eddie and Alicia Edwards, who were here to shut Nemeth up in this match. Edwards chopped Nemeth a lot. Nemeth taunted Alicia Edwards and taunted the crowd, but didn’t offer much in the way of offense. Nemeth dodged a charge, which sent Edwards shoulder-first into the corner. Nemeth hit a hangman’s neckbreaker for two. He taunted Alicia Edwards again, then walked into a clothesline from Edwards. Edwards went for a package stunner, but Nemeth escaped by raking the eyes. Edwards dropped Nemeth with a double-underhook suplex, and finished him off with a “Boston Knee Party” (running knee) and got the pinfall.

— Gia Miller checked in with Indi Hartwell, who won’t back down from Dani Luna. Santino Marella interrupted to give Hartwell a match with Jody Threat. Luna then interrupted, and Hartwell insisted Marella add Luna to the match. So next week it’s Luna v. Threat v. Hartwell to crown a new #1 contender for the Knockouts title.

— Joe Hendry defeated the Miz at a WWE house show in Manchester.

— In the back, Eric Young left Joe Hendry for dead and talked about how “the cleanse is coming.”

Tasha Steelz (w/ members of Order 4) defeated Mara Sadé (5:52)

Sadé got a near fall after a knee to the head. Jason Hotch tripped up Sadé to give Steelz the edge. Steelz caught Sadé with a gamengiri in the corner. Sadé powered out of a chinlock and caught Steelz with a forearm. Sadé caught Steelz with a hip attack and a slingblade. Sadé hit a middle rope dropkick for a near fall.  Sadé went to the top for a moonsault, but the members of Order 4 around ringside distracted her. Steelz took Sadé down with a Russian leg sweep from the middle rope. Sadé hit her finisher (which looks like a botched move) and Jason Hotch and John Skyler jumped up on the again to distract her. Sadé hit Skyler with a dive on the floor, then got into a stare down with Agent Zero. Steelz caught Sadé coming back into the ring with a cutter and got the pinfall with her feet on the ropes for leverage.

After the match, Hotch and Skyler held Sadé open for Agent Zero to floor her with a clothesline. The Hardys came out late to chase Order 4 away and they clotheslined Zero to the floor. They’re trying to portray Agent Zero as this giant, but he isn’t even bigger than the Hardys.

The Hardys defeated Cedric Alexander & Leon Slater (10:50)

Matt Hardy tweaked his knee giving and elbow drop, but Slater didn’t immediately attack it. Matt hit a side effect and got the tag to Jeff. Jeff went for a swanton, but Alexander pulled Jeff out of the way. Alexander wore Jeff down with a bearhug on the mat, then drove elbows into his injured ribs. Alexander held Jeff open for a sliding dropkick to the ribs from Slater. Slater hit a running crossover splash for a near fall. Slater worked a chinlock and clotheslined Jeff in the corner. Alexander followed up with a forearm and a dropkick to the back of Jeff’s neck. Slater stomped at Jeff’s ribs and went back to a chinlock.

Matt got the tag and pummeled Alexander with forearms, then sent him headfirst into all the turnbuckles. Slater also got his head rammed into the turnbuckles as well. Hardy dropped Alexander with a Side Effect and dropped an elbow off the middle rope for a near fall. Matt went for the Twist of Fate, but Alexander escaped and took Matt down with a dragon screw leg whip. Slater tried to go the top, but Matt shoved Cedric into the turnbuckle, which crotched Slater on the top. The Hardys double teamed Alexander and Jeff went for the cover, but Slater broke that up with a splash off the top. Slater went for a Swanton 450, but Jeff escaped. Slater landed on his feet and ran into Matt. Matt tried for the Twist of Fate, but Slater countered into a Twist of Slate, which Matt escaped to send Slater into a a Plot Twist from Jeff, but Slater still hit the Twist of Slate on Matt Hardy anyway!

Slater went back to the top and missed the Swanton 450 on Jeff again. Matt sent Slater to the floor In the ring,  Alexander caught Jeff with a flatliner for two. Alexander tried for the Lumbar Check, but Jeff escaped and Cedric walked into a Twist of Fate from Matt. Jeff hit the Swanton bomb on Alexander and got the pinfall. This match was the best thing on the show, especially the last few minutes when things got really good. After the match, both teams hugged it out like good babyfaces.

Impact is LIVE next Thursday with:

  • Indi Hartwell v. Jody Threat v. Dani Luna to crown the #1 contender for the Knockouts Title.
  • The Hardys and Mara Sadé vs. Tasha Steelz, John Skyler and Jason Hotch
  • Moose v. AJ Francis
  • Ash by Elegance celebrating her Knockouts Title Win
  • Nick Nemeth’s return.

Trick Williams and his lawyer. Williams and his lawyer came back to the ring. I was hoping his lawyer would be Joe Park, but it’s just some guy named Michael O’Shea. The lawyer is wearing a black suit and brown shoes (and a brown belt!), so I doubt his bona fides. Williams claimed assault and declared the ring a crime scene. The lawyer fed Williams lines about how it was a unsafe working environment and that he only has to defend the title every 50 days. Santino Marella came out to do the math and figured out that Bound for Glory is two days past the 50 day deadline. The lawyer interjected before Marella could make the match official, so Marella laid the lawyer out with the Cobra to end the show.

I guess this angle lets them stretch out the annoucement of Mike Santana v. Trick Williams at Bound for Glory for another week.

New champion reflects on NXT Heatwave victory: ‘This is why you never burn bridges’

For Ash By Elegance, NXT Heatwave 2025 was a full-circle moment.

The former Dana Brooke captured gold on Sunday night, defeating Jacy Jayne and Masha Slamovich in a triple threat match to become the new TNA Knockouts World Champion. Winning the title at an NXT event holds special significance for Ash given her history with the brand, starting her WWE career at the Performance Center in the early 2010s and later being released by the company in 2023.

Reflecting on her victory, Ash said there were moments in her career where she felt like giving up — but she was determined to prove herself:

  • Wow… so many emotions- so many tears… years of dedication… & I had many fears!! Sometimes I felt like giving up & not knowing if I should keep going! BUT I had to prove it to myself… I CAN.. I WILL & I WANT TOO! Haters can say what they want… but NOTHING or NO ONE will rain on my parade!!! This title came FULL circle … I started in NXT in 2012.. not knowing anything about wrestling… not knowing anyone in the business…& I ended my WWE career in an NXT ring in September 2023!

Ash said this moment is proof why you should never burn bridges — because you never know how things are going to play out in the future. She dedicated her win to anyone who has felt like giving up on something but decided to push forward instead:

  • I couldn’t make this up in my wildest dreams… this is why you never burn bridges… you never know how this crazy life works… I had the opportunity to capture a title back in the WWE/NXT ring with a company that BELIEVED in me and took a chance! I took a chance on myself… I made a promise to myself that I will pull out ALL THE stops to become the TNA CHAMPION in a ring I use to call HOME, NXT!!! I may not be the best wrestler… but no wrestler IN THIS WORLD has the drive, the hunger, and the passion as I do!!! This is the Ultimate story… this title isn’t just for me… it’s for everyone out there that felt like giving up at something but kept their head in the right mind-space and know it is possible! Learn it from me… whether you LOVE ME or HATE ME… this is a message for everyone out there… NEVER GIVE UP… TOMORROW IS NEVER PROMISED!!! – Ash

Ash has been under contract with TNA since January 2024 and leads a faction called The Elegance Brand, featuring Heather By Elegance (Heather Reckless), M By Elegance (Maggie Lee), and their personal concierge (George Iceman). She’s made appearances for NXT through TNA’s close working relationship with WWE.

The Elegance Brand are the current Knockouts Tag Team Champions in TNA as well.

New champions crowned at WWE NXT Heatwave

Two new champions were crowned at NXT Heatwave.

The TNA Knockouts title changed hands on Sunday, with Ash by Elegance winning the title and bringing it back home to TNA. The finish had Jacy Jayne hit Masha Slamovich with the rolling encore, but the Elegance Brand at ringside pulled Jaye out of the ring as she went for the cover. This gave Ash the opportunity to hit Slamovich with the swanton bomb, pinning her to become champion.

Jayne had held the title for a little over a month, defeating Slamovich to become a double champion. She remains the NXT Women’s Champion and is next set to defend the title against Lola Vice at WWE NXT No Mercy next month.

Meanwhile, Darkstate were successful in their attempt to defeat Hank & Tank for the NXT Tag Team titles. It was Osiris Griffin and Dion Lennox that represented Darkstate, winning after Cutler James interfered, allowing Lennox and Griffin to hit a doomsday device on Tank for the win.

In the main event, Oba Femi successfully retained the title against Je’Von Evans. After the match, Ricky Starks came out and the two had a staredown as the show went off the air.
