Tessa Blanchard returns, attacks Jordynne Grace at TNA Final Resolution

As reported earlier on Friday, Tessa Blanchard has returned to TNA Wrestling and didn’t waste time in making her impact felt.

The former TNA World Champion and Knockouts Champion appeared during Jordynne Grace’s match with Rosemary on Friday’s Final Resolution streaming special. The masked Blanchard attacked Grace to give her the DQ win, eventually revealing herself to the crowd.

Later, she briefly chatted with Gia Miller about her return and then piefaced the backstage interviewer before leaving.

Our Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that “the belief is that she’ll debut in Atlanta, do a quick program with Jordynne Grace with Grace then leaving for WWE when her current contract expires.”

The 28-year-old has been in Mexico since the fall of 2023, working nearly solely with CMLL who confirmed her leave on Friday and that the Women’s Tag Team titles she held were vacated.

She worked in TNA (then Impact) from three years from 2018 through 2020, holding the company’s top title for 165 days and the Knockouts title for 147 days.

However, the World title reign started in January 2020 prior to the pandemic and she only had one title defense, that being in February of the same year. TNA fired her in June 2020 and stripped her for not coming back to the U.S. from Mexico to drop the title.

Blanchard’s previous TNA run was marred with controversy due to allegations of being a locker room bully, and both spitting in La Rosa Negra’s face and calling her a racial slur while they were in Japan together in 2017. Those allegations emerged after a social media post following her World title win where she told her fellow women to “try supporting one another” as cool things happen when they do.

TNA Final Resolution live results: Four title matches

Tonight’s TNA Final Resolution from Atlanta’s Center Stage will feature four title matches, a no. 1 contender’s match, and more in the company’s final big event of the year.

TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth defends against AJ Francis in the headliner while Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich defends against former champion Tasha Steelz.

Tag Team Champions The Hardys continue their rivalry with The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) in a tables match, and X-Division Champion Moose defends against KUSHIDA.

The World title contender for January’s Genesis PPV will be determined in a four-way with Joe Hendry vs. Josh Alexander vs. Mike Santana vs. Steve Maclin.

Jordynne Grace will look to rebound from her string of losses as she faces Rosemary.

The main card is rounded out by Trent Seven vs. Ace Austin, and a tag team three-way between The Rascalz vs. PCO & Sami Callihan vs. Hammerstone & Jake Something.

Leon Slater vs. JDC and Jonathan Gresham vs. Frankie Kazarian make up the pre-show.

The “Countdown to Final Resolution” pre-show kicks off at 7:30pm EST. inside the sold out Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia with Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt welcoming us to the show.

We head directly to the ring for the first of two scheduled pre-show matches. JDC of The System and Leon Slater make their respective ring walks and then the bell sounds to get things started.

JDC takes the early offensive lead, but Slater remains competitive and eventually takes over after hitting a wild high spot from the ring to the floor that pops the Atlanta crowd for the first time of the evening.

Back inside the ring, JDC takes back over and settles into a prolonged offensive lead, controlling the action for the next couple of minutes as fans try and rally behind Slater. JDC heads to the top-rope, but Slater hits a unique leaping kick that sends him crashing and burning down on the floor.

“Big Blade Slater” runs and in a single leap, easily clears the top-rope, flipping and splashing on JDC at ringside. Back in the ring, Slater looks for the top-rope 450 senton, but JDC avoids it.

JDC covers Slater and gets his feet on the ropes for added leverage for the pinfall victory. Fans loudly chant “Bullsh*t! Bullsh*t!” in reaction to the finish. Ouch. Not the ideal start to the night TNA was picturing.

Gia Miller Announces Hammerstone Is Off Tonight’s Show

In what is becoming a tradition for TNA Wrestling pay-per-view pre-shows, Gia Miller checks in with a breaking news announcement. She informs the viewing audience at home that Hammerstone has suffered an injury.

As a result, he is out of the scheduled multi-team bout. Jake Something enters the scene and insists that he can handle things by himself tonight, and doesn’t need a replacement partner.

Frankie Kazarian defeated Jonathan Gresham

Back inside the Impact Zone at Center Stage in Atlanta, the theme for the 2024 Call Your Shot Gauntlet winner, Frankie Kazarian, hits. The self-proclaimed “King of TNA” makes his way to the ring with his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy in-hand. The fans boo the hell out of him as he settles in the ring.

His music dies down and now the entrance tune for his opponent plays. “The Octopus” Jonathan Gresham makes his way to the ring in front of his home state fans in Georgia. The sold-out crowd is strongly behind their guy, too, as they drown out his theme music with loud cheers and pro-Gresham chants.

The bell sounds and the second and final pre-show match of the “Countdown to Final Resolution” show gets underway. Before they engage, Kazarian demands the ring announcer re-introduce him as “The King of TNA.”

She begrudgingly does, the fans boo, and then Kazarian rushes Gresham and sneak-attacks him to start this one off hot. Gresham fights back and we see several minutes spent with amateur-style grappling and mat-based submission work.

After the pace picks back up, Kazarian starts to take over. He tries a pin with his feet on the ropes, but it doesn’t work out for him. Seconds later, however, he locks in the chicken wing submission, forcing a tap from “The Octopus” and giving him the win. Kazarian poses with his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy afterwards.

Moose (c) defeated KUSHIDA to retain TNA X-Division Championship

The “Countdown to Final Resolution” pre-show wraps up and the elaborate cold open video package airs to start the main pay-per-view portion of the show. Inside the Impact Zone at Center Stage in Atlanta, GA., Hannifan and Rehwoldt welcome us to the final special event for TNA Wrestling of 2024.

KUSHIDA’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring for the title opportunity he earned. He settles inside the squared circle and his music dies down. The catchy-ass entrance tune for his opponent plays, and out comes the reigning and defending TNA X-Division Champion Moose.

After the bell sounds, things get off to a quick start, with Moose immediately imposing his size and strength advantages over his smaller challenger. KUSHIDA capitalizes on one mistake by the champ and goes to work on his arm.

He continues to focus his attack on the limb, softening him up for the Surfboard Lock later in the match. He knocks Moose out to the floor and goes for a dive, but Moose catches him and Donkey Kong’s him onto the floor at ringside.

He hoists him up and powerbombs him onto the hard part of the ring apron outside of the ring ropes. Moose has it won via count-out, with the referee reaching the count of nine with KUSHIDA still unconscious and not moving, but Moose stops the referee from reaching the count of ten.

Moose then exits the ring and sprints around the ringside area around the ring. He looks for a super spear, but KUSHIDA side-steps him and sends him crashing into the steel ring steps with authority. KUSHIDA takes over back inside the ring and works over Moose’s arm some more.

This doesn’t last for long, however, as Moose quickly shifts the momentum back in his favor. Moose goes to work on KUSHIDA, all-the-while selling his left arm as nearly unusable as a result of the spear into the steps on the floor and other targeted offense from KUSHIDA early in the bout.

KUSHIDA begins showing signs of life, and ultimately fights back into competitive form. The challenger takes over and eventually gets the champion in his Surfboard Lock submission on his bad arm.

Moose struggles for quite a while in the hold, but eventually makes it to the ropes to break the hold. Moments later, Moose takes KUSHIDA out with a big spear for the win to retain the TNA X-Division Championship.

The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel) defeated Sami Callihan & PCO and Jake Something

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews AJ Francis and KC Navarro. Francis vows to capture the TNA World Championship from Nic Nemeth tonight. After the brief backstage interview segment wraps up, we head back inside the Impact Zone for the second main card bout of the evening.

The theme for The Rascalz hits and out comes the fan-favorite duo of Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel to a big pop. They settle inside the squared circle, their music dies down, and then the entrance tune of Sami Callihan hits to bring out “The Death Machine.”

PCO’s music plays next and the crowd roars as “The French-Canadian Frankenstein” heads to the ring to join his partner Callihan in this multi-team match. After the first two teams settle in the ring, Jake Something’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring alone.

As noted during the “Countdown to Final Resolution” pre-show, Hammerstone suffered an injury and as a result, was forced out of his scheduled match alongside Something tonight. The bell sounds and The Rascalz jump off to an early offensive lead.

The crowd comes alive throughout the first few minutes of this match unlike they have at any other point thus far in the show. Wentz and Miguel hit some cool double-team spots on Something and then PCO enters the ring and starts to take over.

Fans chant “PCO! PCO!” as he works over Miguel before tagging in Callihan. Callihan hits the ring and picks up where PCO left off, taking it to one-half of The Rascalz. Something gets back in the mix, but is taken out once again and left selling on the floor. Miguel hits a big high spot to PCO.

Callihan teases a big dive to the floor, but instead sends Wentz sailing over the ropes and out to the floor. Callihan teases it again, but instead, PCO heads to the top-rope and leaps, connecting with a PCO-sault onto the pile of bodies at ringside. Fans go nuts and we see instant replays.

Back in the ring, Callihan hits Miguel with a stunner. PCO enters the ring, but is beaten down by Miguel and Wentz. Something hits the ring and powerbombs Wentz and then powerbombs Miguel onto Wentz as he was on all fours. Something hoists up Callihan and hits a seated powerbomb.

He blasts PCO with a boot to the bread basket and hits a fourth powerbomb. PCO does The Undertaker “Deadman” sit-up and stands behind Something as he boasts to the crowd. Something turns around and PCO looks for an inverted DDT.

Instead is blasted by Miguel, who runs from the entrance ramp and leaps over the ropes with a big kick. Wentz follows in with a big cutter over the ropes. Both members of The Rascalz double-team Something and hit their finisher for the win to put an end to this exciting match.

Mystery 23 Video Plays Again

After the match, Callihan shows good sportsmanship, sharing a group hug with both members of The Rascalz. As they hug it out in a sign of mutual respect, the lights go out and the cryptic “23” video plays.

“It’s just a number!” The video ends and the lights come back on. Fans chant “What was that?! What was that?!” as the competitors still in the ring play into the confusion.

Ace Austin defeated Trent Seven

Backstage, Eric Young approaches Steve Maclin and gives him a pep talk ahead of his high stakes Fatal-4-Way No. 1 Contender match for a shot at the TNA World Championship. He tells Maclin he sees the world title in his future, and says as always, he’ll have his back.

Inside Center Stage, the theme for Trent Seven hits to set the stage for the next match of the show. He settles in the ring and the entrance tune for Ace Austin plays. The ABC tag-team member heads to the ring to a good crowd reaction.

The bell sounds and Seven gets the early offensive jump on Austin, who fights back and keeps things competitive. Austin starts to take over and stops momentarily to yell, “This one’s for Chris Bey!” He hits a big high spot, but after that, Seven starts to take over again.

Seven connects with a brutal Birminghammer on the hard part of the ring apron outside of the ring ropes. Austin isn’t moving. Seven covers him, but Austin gets his foot on the ropes just in time to avoid the three-count.

Trent starts to stalk Ace as he remains laid out in the ring. He grabs his hand and shushes the crowd before yanking and twisting the fingers to the point that cracking sounds were clearly audible. Austin fights back with a spinning heel kick that flattens Seven.

Austin goes for The Art of Finesse, but Seven avoids it and connects with a Seven-Star Lariat. He follows up with a piledriver and immediately goes for the cover, only for Austin to somehow kick out at the count of one. Austin hits The Art of Finesse this time and follows up with his finisher for the win.

Jordynne Grace defeated Rosemary via Disqualification

Highlights are shown of Frankie Kazarian’s victory over Jonathan Gresham on the “Countdown to Final Resolution” pre-show. Backstage, he talks live with his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy in his hands.

The self-proclaimed “King of TNA” claims his night is not over yet, teasing cashing in for the TNA World Championship later in the show. After the brief backstage segment wraps up, the stage gets set for the next match.

Rosemary’s theme hits and out she comes for scheduled Knockouts action. She heads to the ring and crawls into the camera, delivering a quick demonic message to the viewing audience before wrapping up her entrance.

The sirens sound and the theme for Jordynne Grace hits to bring out “The Juggernaut.” The former Knockouts Champion heads to the ring to a big reaction from the Atlanta crowd. The bell sounds and off we go.

Grace gets off to a strong start on offense, but it isn’t long at all before Rosemary takes over and settles into a lengthy run in control of the action. Rosemary gets her upside down spot on Grace through the ropes. Grace fights back and nearly has this one in the bag, when out of nowhere a mystery attacker strikes and the match is throw out.

Someone in a big puffed out jacket and ski mask beats down “The Juggernaut,” eventually unveiling herself to be Tessa Blanchard. Afterwards, Gia Miller scrambles to catch up with her backstage to ask her to explain her actions. She says she’s back to get what’s rightfully hers. She shoves Gia and walks off.

Joe Hendry defeated Josh Alexander, Steve Maclin and Mike Santana to earn World Title shot at TNA Genesis 2025

It’s time to find out who is going to be next-in-line for whomever emerges as TNA World Champion after tonight’s main event between reigning champion Nic Nemeth and challenger AJ Francis. Up next is the Fatal-4-Way No. 1 Contender match to determine the next title challenger.

Eric Young makes his way out first to join Hannifan and Rehwoldt on special guest commentary for this bout. Steve Maclin, Josh Alexander, Mike Santana and finally, Joe Hendry, each make their respective ring walks. The bell sounds and all four men stare each other down.

They all collide and begin getting after it. Within seconds, Santana hits a big dive from the ring to the floor on Alexander. As the action continues, Alexander and Hendry are left alone in the ring for a few minutes to mix it up while Maclin and Santana sell on the floor.

Alexander beats on Hendry, but as fans loudly chant “We Believe! We Believe!” Hendry starts no-selling the offense from “The Walking Weapon” and “Hulk’ing up,” ala Hulk Hogan’s infamous comeback routine. Alexander dumps Hendry out to the floor and Santana enters the ring.

Fans chant “Santana! Santana!” as he and Alexander grill each other. They finally engage, and although Santana was holding his own, it is Alexander who gains the upper-hand, knocking Santana on the ring apron and sliding in with double-knees to the back to knock him to the floor.

Alexander runs over and blasts Maclin just as he was finally recovering on the floor. Back in the ring, Alexander hits a big fireman’s carry slam on Santana and then a middle rope knee to the back of Santana’s head for a two-count. Westside Gunn is shown in a cameo appearance in the crowd.

Santana hits the rolling Buck-50 on Alexander to slow down his dominant momentum. The two fight their way up to the top-rope, where they duke it out up there. Hendry and Maclin scoop Alexander up on their shoulders and Santana leaps off the top-rope, connecting with a super-blockbuster for a huge pop and subsequent “TNA! TNA!” chant from the Atlanta crowd.

Hendry hits a super-fall-away slam to Alexander off the ropes. Santana and Maclin follow up with high spots immediately afterwards, but the subsequent pin attempts are broken up. We see dive after dive from the ring to the floor, culminating with Hendry running and clearing the top-rope for a big splash onto the pile of bodies at ringside.

The crowd explodes and settles into a loud “This is Awesome! This is Awesome!” chant. Alexander takes Santana and zip-ties him to a barricade at ringside. In the ring, Maclin looks for the K.I.A. on Hendry, only for Alexander to low-blow him.

Hendry hits Standing Ovation on Alexander seconds later for the win. Joe Hendry is moving on to challenge the winner of tonight’s main event for the TNA World Championship at the TNA Genesis 2025 pay-per-view in January.

Masha Slamovich (c) defeated Tasha Steelz in a Falls Count Anywhere match to retain the TNA Knockouts Championship

The stage is set for the next match of the evening, which features the TNA Knockouts Championship on-the-line. Tasha Steelz makes her way out accompanied by Alisha Edwards. She settles inside the squared circle and then reigning and defending champion Masha Slamovich makes her way out.

Before the match begins, the familiar sounds of Santino Marella’s theme hits and out comes the TNA Director of Authority. He mentions the Falls Count Anywhere stipulation added to this match before tonight’s show went on the air live.

He also brings up Edwards’ past and says she’s not only banned from ringside tonight, she’s not allowed in the building. He carries her out and then the bell sounds to get things officially off-and-running.

After some back-and-forth action inside the ring ropes, the two fight their way around the ringside area. As they continue to battle, they find themselves up near the top of the entrance way. Slamovich ends up hitting her finisher and scoring the pinfall in the aisle to retain.

The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) (c) defeated The System (Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards) in a Tables Match to retain the TNA World Tag-Team Championships

The video package for the co-main event of the evening airs to tell the story leading up to our third of four scheduled world championship matches on tonight’s year-end TNA Wrestling pay-per-view.

After the pre-match package wraps up, The System duo of Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards make their way to the ring to boos from the fans in attendance. They settle inside the ring and their music dies down.

We hear the iconic entrance tune for the reigning and defending TNA Tag-Team Champions, The Hardys, and out comes Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy for their latest title defense. The Atlanta crowd gives them by far the loudest pop of the evening.

A sustained roar grows in intensity and general volume as the legendary team settles inside the ring for their rematch against the team they originally beat to start this reign with the TNA Tag-Team Championships. The bell sounds and off we go.

Matt and Jeff both team up on Myers, before turning their attention to Edwards. They hit their trademark Poetry in Motion double-team spot in the corner and then the two go back to work on Myers. Matt hits a Plot Twist on him and then Jeff hits one on his partner.

Matt shoves Jeff and yells, “Get the tables!” The crowd didn’t seem to follow at all, but they were so clearly doing The Dudley Boyz routine from back in the Attitude Era in WWE. They head out to the floor and pull out a table, which they bring into the ring and set up together.

Hannifan casually mentions how it was good to see the legendary Raven backstage earlier tonight as The System start to fight back and take over. Myers and Edwards get rid of Jeff Hardy, who is selling on the floor as the duo set their sights on Matt. They double-team him and eventually set the table back up.

The two hoist Matt up and plant him down through the table. It was stressed during the opening moments of this one that both members of a given team must each be put through a table before the match is over. Thus, The System are half way there.

They head out to the floor and set up two tables in different spots at ringside. They grab Jeff and throw him out to the floor. On the way down, Jeff breaks through a part of the table that was set up. Whoops! Although the match should be technically over with new champions, they quickly toss that table out of the way.

They continue without the commentators bringing it up or crowd reacting in any real way. As they set up another table in position, they go to work on Jeff, only for Matt to recover and re-enter the picture. Matt hits a Twist of Fate to Myers through a table. Now The Hardys are half-way to victory as well.

Whoever is put through a table next, Edwards or Jeff Hardy, will mark the end of this tables match title tilt. As the action continues, Edwards ends up getting in a fans face in the front row. The fan throws a playful, very slight slap, but it connects.

Edwards slaps the holy hell out of the fan in return, and then shoving him, prompting two referees to jump in and make sure nothing escalates. Very odd scene that seemed all too real. Edwards yells directly into the camera, “I’m still having fun!” Myers sends Matt into the ring post and low-blows him.

Myers scrambles into the ring to stop Jeff from hitting a Twist of Fate on Edwards. Myers and Edwards join up and double-team Jeff as the second super loud-and-clearly audible “F**k The System!” chant spreads like wildfire throughout Center Stage in Atlanta.

Edwards and Myers grab Jeff and bring him into the crowd. They fight through the fans and reach the mezzanine level. They set up a table over there directly in front of a doorway with a balcony. They gloat and taunt the fans after laying Jeff on the table, only for Matt to bust through the aforementioned doors.

Matt beats down Myers and Edwards as Jeff recovers. The Hardys use chairs and then yet again we see a piece of a table broken due to Jeff. This time the commentators point out that because The System didn’t specifically put Jeff through the table, it doesn’t count and the match continues.

After getting rid of the table that partially broke, Matt sets up another one and puts Edwards on it. Jeff climbs the balcony, takes his shirt off and the girls scream. He makes his way to the railing, which he steps up on and leaps off, connecting with a Swanton Bomb that puts Edwards through the table down below. The bell sounds and The Hardys successfully retain their TNA Tag-Team Championships in a crowd-friendly tables match.

Nic Nemeth (c) defeated AJ Francis (w/ KC Navarro) to retain the TNA World Championship

It’s main event time!

The pre-match video package airs to tell the story leading up to the final match of the year-end TNA Final Resolution 2024 pay-per-view, which will feature “The Wanted Man” Nic Nemeth defending his TNA World Championship against First Class’ AJ Francis.

After the video package wraps up, the theme for First Class hits and out comes the self-proclaimed “best heel in the business,” AJ Francis. He makes his way to the ring accompanied by KC Navarro. The Atlanta crowd helps him live up to his self-proclaimed industry-leading heel claims, at least for this show, as they boo him like crazy.

The entrance tune for his opponent hits after he settles inside the squared circle. Out comes the reigning and defending TNA World Champion “The Wanted Man” Nic Nemeth. The ring announcer handles the final formal ring introductions for the champion and challenger, and then the bell sounds to get things underway.

Nemeth superkicks the hell out of Francis immediately, and follows up with a quick cover. He only gets a count of one, so he continues to work over the big challenger. He hops on his back with a sleeper-hold, but Francis escapes. Nemeth goes for a bodyslam, but struggles, and Francis takes over.

As Francis settles into his first offensive lead of the match, the fans can be heard randomly booing in the background. The camera shot switches to show 2024 Call Your Shot Gauntlet winner Frankie Kazarian walking down the ramp with his trophy in-hand. He joins Hannifan and Rehwoldt on commentary.

Nemeth, meanwhile, sees Navarro getting involved at ringside, so he turns his attention to him. He goes to drill him, but Francis sneaks in a shot from behind Navarro, allowing him to take back over the offensive lead. He slams Nemeth onto the ring apron and rolls him back into the ring.

Francis heads to the top-rope, but Nemeth cuts him off. Nemeth ends up powerbombing the big man off the ropes. This, for some reason, prompts Kazarian to mention on commentary that it “made his balls tingle.” That’s a direct quote.

Nemeth continues to settle into the offensive driver’s seat again after hitting the Jerry Lawler heart attack special rapid-elbows routine. Navarro gets involved again at ringside, this time prompting Nemeth to grab him by the hair from the ring.

Navarro drops down to the floor, which pulls Nemeth throat-first over the top-rope. Nemeth then turns into a huge spear from Francis for a close two-count. Francis climbs up to the middle rope backwards and leaps off with a Vader-Bomb for a close two-count.

Moments later, Navarro gets involved yet again from ringside. This time it was one time too many, as the referee ejects him from ringside. Francis, meanwhile, picks up Nemeth for a suplex. Nemeth escapes out of the back-door and connects with his Danger Zone finisher out of nowhere for a close two-count.

Francis fights back and goes for a moonsault off the ropes, only for Nemeth to move out of the way at the last moment. Nemeth follows up with a FameAsser on Francis for another close two-count. Francis hits a neck-breaker after catching Nemeth across his shoulders. He goes for the cover, but only gets two.

AJ Francis stalks Nemeth as he waits for him to get up. He calls for the Down Payment, and as he signals for it, Nemeth starts to finally move. The champ gets up and walks right into a Down Payment from the challenger, but has the presence of mind to roll to the floor upon landing, taking Francis’ ability to pin him out of the equation.

Francis heads out to the floor after Nemeth. The two exchange shots and then Nemeth backs up and jumps on Francis. Francis catches him and hits another neck-breaker from the entrance ramp into the ring. Francis goes to hoist Nemeth up, but Nemeth counters with a Fame-Asser, a super kick and then the Danger Zone for the pinfall victory.

With the win, Nemeth successfully retains his TNA World Championship. As soon as the match ends, KC Navarro, who was ejected from ringside, runs back out and joins Francis in a post-match attack of the champ. They continue beating Nemeth down until Joe Hendry’s theme hits.

The next challenger for TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth at next month’s TNA Genesis 2025 pay-per-view runs down to make the save. He clears the ring of Francis and Navarro. He turns around to pick up the TNA World Championship, and as he does, Nemeth happens to be recovering and returning to his feet.

Nemeth angrily yanks his title out of Hendry’s hands and raises it high in the air. Nemeth and Hendry jaw back-and-forth face-to-face in the middle of the ring as Nemeth’s theme hits and Hannifan wraps up the show on commentary. That’s how the TNA Final Resolution 2024 show goes off the air.

Jordynne Grace vs. Rosemary announced for TNA Final Resolution

In a battle of former TNA Knockouts Champions, Jordynne Grace will take on Rosemary as part of this month’s Final Resolution streaming special.

Grace will be looking to rally after three straight losses (two to reigning champion Masha Slamovich and one to Tasha Steelz). Rosemary has had a quietly strong 2024 in TNA, going unbeaten in 11 singles and three-way matches.

She and Grace have only wrestled twice with the last ending in a no contest this past August.

With Grace saying her contract is up in January, this or the following day’s TV taping could be her last action with TNA unless she re-signs.

Here’s the current lineup for Friday, December 13th at Center Stage in Atlanta:

TNA Impact live results: The Hardys defend the Tag Team titles

The fallout from last Friday’s Turning Point will be felt on tonight’s edition of TNA Impact.

The Tag Team titles will be on the line as Jeff & Matt Hardy defend the gold against former champions The System (Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards) who enabled their contractual rematch.

After JBL again appeared and assisted him with a win, TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth will appear to address his latest title defense over Edwards last Friday.

In a clash of former Knockouts Champions, Jordynne Grace and Tasha Steelz will go one-on-one.

In a five-way that will determine the Final Resolution challenger for X-Division Champion Moose, it will be Ace Austin vs. Trent Seven vs. Leon Slater vs. KUSHIDA vs. JDC.

PCO & Sami Callihan take on The Good Hands (John Skyler & Jason Hotch) while The Northern Army (Josh Alexander, Judas Icarus & Travis Williams) team with Frankie Kazarian against Mike Santana, Eric Young, Steve Maclin & Jonathan Gresham.

KUSHIDA defeats Trent Seven, Ace Austin, Leon Slater & JDC to become new TNA X-Division Championship No. 1 Contender

Inside the Impact Zone, we are welcomed by Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt, who mention that the focus is now on the final TNA Wrestling special event of the year, the upcoming TNA Final Resolution 2024 show.

On that note, Trent Seven makes his way to the ring for opening action. Ace Austin comes out next. Already in the ring are the other three members of this match, Leon Slater, JDC and KUSHIDA.

The bell sounds to get things started in this TNA X-Division Championship No. 1 Contender bout, where the winner will move on to challenge Moose for the title at TNA Final Resolution 2024. KUSHIDA and JDC end up laid out on the floor.

As Seven and Slater brawl at ringside, Austin hits a dive from the ring to take them both out. From the ring apron, Austin takes out Slater and JDC. He returns in the ring, and is taken out by Seven. JDC joins him and the two work over Austin together.

Austin fights back and takes over control of the offense. as KUSHIDA re-enters the picture, Austin hits an homage to his ABC partner Chris Bey, connecting with the Art of Finesse for a close two-count. KUSHIDA fights back and gets an armbar on Austin, but Slater hits a crossover splash to break it up.

Slater follows that up with an absolutely insane twisting splash off the top-rope onto a pile of bodies on the floor at ringside. The crowd goes wild and breaks out in “TNA! TNA!” chants. Slater heads to the top-rope again, but JDC rams Seven into the corner to crotch him.

Austin hits a superplex to Slater off of JDC and Seven’s backs in the corner for a close pin attempt, which Seven breaks up. Fans react with an enthusiastic “This is Awesome!” chant. Seven goes for the Seven-Star Lariat, but walks into a Pele kick from KUSHIDA.

Moments later, KUSHIDA hits Back To The Future for the pinfall victory. With the win, KUSHIDA moves on to challenge Moose for the TNA X-Division Championship at TNA Final Resolution 2024.

Gia Miller Interviews Tasha Steelz

Backstage, Gia Miller is joined by Tasha Steelz. She asks her about her match tonight against former TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace. Steelz mentions she too is a former TNA Knockouts Champion and calls “The Juggernaut” a thorn in her side that she vows to remove tonight.

After this wraps up, Hannifan and Rehwoldt run down the lineup still to come tonight, and then the show heads into a commercial break.

Sami Callihan & PCO defeated The Good Hands (John Skyler & Jason Hotch)

When the show returns, The Good Hands duo of Jason Hotch and John Skyler make their way to the ring, cutting a heel promo as always. They settle inside the ring and finish trashing North Carolina, and then the theme for Sami Callihan hits.

Out he comes, and is joined by PCO. The two head to the ring for scheduled tag-team action. The bell sounds to get things going. Callihan blasts Hotch coming out of the gate. Callihan settles into the early offensive lead.

After some more back-and-forth action, we work towards the finish, which sees PCO hit a top-rope PCO-sault off of the shoulders of Callihan, who provides the assist. The two score the pin fall victory for the big win.

Afterwards, a cryptic video plays. “What was that?” asked Hannifan. “I don’t know,” Rehwoldt replied. The show heads into another commercial break after the tag-team tilt wraps up.

AJ Francis Gets World Title Match At TNA Final Resolution 2024

The show returns from the break to TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth talking about how it’s been a big 2024 for him and TNA Wrestling. As he continues talking, he is cut off by the First Class duo of AJ Francis and KC Navarro.

Francis agrees that Nemeth has had a good 2024, but he says he’s had the best year of his career in 2024. The back-and-forth continues until Francis tries taunting Nemeth into a title shot. TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella walks up.

Francis pitches a world title bout between the two for TNA Final Resolution 2024 in Atlanta, GA. Santino confirms it. Francis calls it the best decision he’s ever made and vows it’ll be the biggest box office move TNA has ever made.

The Hardys (Jeff & Matt Hardy) defeated The System (Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards) via Disqualification to retain the TNA World Tag-Team Championships

Back inside the Impact Zone, The System theme hits and out comes Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers accompanied by Alisha Edwards. They settle into the squared circle for their rematch for the TNA Tag-Team Championships.

The theme for their opponents hits, and as the iconic sounds of The Hardys theme plays inside the building in their home state of North Carolina, Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy emerge to an enormous reaction from the crowd.

After the bell sounds, Edwards and Matt Hardy kick things off for their respective teams. After a thumb to the eye, Edwards tags out and in comes Myers. Matt makes the tag to Jeff, and the two hit some double-team spots on The System member as fans chant “Hardy! Hardy!”

Myers chop-blocks Matt’s knee from behind, which shifts the offensive momentum into the favor of The System. On that note, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break as Myers continues to work over Hardy.

When the show returns, we see The System still in a comfortable offensive lead, with Alisha even getting involved at ringside. The Hardys finally start to shift the momentum back in their favor. After a Plot Twist and a Swanton, we see a super close pin attempt, only for it to be broken up.

On the floor, Myers and Edwards are on one side of the ring setting up a table. The Hardys come over and beat them down and as they get ready to put them through the table, Alisha attacks them from behind with a kendo stick.

The referee calls for the bell. The Hardys win and retain via DQ. The System continue to attack Matt and Jeff. They hit a Boston Knee Party and then lay Matt across the aforementioned table. Alisha delivers an additional kendo stick shot. Myers and Edwards powerbomb Jeff onto Matt through the table.

Backstage With Spitfire

Backstage, Dani Luna calms Jody Threat down as she freaks out about Ash By Elegance. Luna says she’s going to take out Heather by Elegance next week, and tells Threat she will do the same to Ash. They walk off to end the brief segment. Jordynne Grace vs. Tasha Steelz is up next. The show heads into another break.

Santino Marella Announces New TNA Final Resolution 2024 Match

When the show returns, the theme for TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella plays. He makes his way out to the top of the entrance stage and cuts a quick promo announcing The Hardys vs. The System in a Tables Match for the TNA World Tag-Team Championships at TNA Final Resolution 2024.

Tasha Steelz defeated Jordynne Grace

After a quick backstage segment, the show returns inside the Impact Zone, where Tasha Steelz’ theme hits. The women’s contender heads to the ring for our next match of the evening.

Steelz’ theme dies down and the entrance tune for her opponent, Jordynne Grace, hits. “The Juggernaut” heads to the ring as Hannifan and Rehwoldt talk on commentary about her loss at TNA Turning Point being the first in 500+ days.

As Steelz settles into the early offensive lead, Hannifan and Rehwoldt notice the disturbing image of Rosemary lurking in the rafters and watching on. As Steelz continues to work over Grace, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break.

When the show returns, we see some more back-and-forth action, with Rosemary again being shown watching on from the rafters. As Grace gets close to finishing things off, Alisha Edwards runs down with a kendo stick.

The distraction allows Steelz to roll-up “The Juggernaut.” She puts her feet on the ropes for added leverage and pulls off the upset victory. After the match, Grace lets her frustrations out on Edwards.

She ends up getting gobbled up by the numbers disadvantage, as Steelz and Edwards double-team her. TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich ends up running out to make the save. The show heads into another commercial break.

The Northern Army (Josh Alexander, Judas Icarus & Travis Williams) & Frankie Kazarian defeated Mike Santana, Eric Young, Steve Maclin & Jonathan Gresham

It’s main event time!

But first, we get the announcement of the lineup for next week’s TNA Final Resolution 2024 “go-home” episode of TNA Impact (see below), as well as the updated lineup for the December 13 special event in Atlanta, GA.

From there, Joe Hendry’s theme hits. Of course when you say his name, he appears, and out he comes to join Hannifan and Rehwoldt on special guest commentary for our big eight-man tag-team main event of this week’s show.

The competitors scheduled for the bout begin making their way out. Josh Alexander and The Northern Armory come out, as does the self-proclaimed “King of TNA” Frankie Kazarian. The latter taunts Hendry at the commentary desk, knocking his water over and taunting him.

Out comes the opposition, which includes Jonathan Gresham, Steve Maclin, Eric Young, and last but not least, Mike Santana. After Santana makes his way to the ring through the crowd, all eight men are ready to rock and roll. But first, the show heads into a quick pre-match commercial time out.

When the show returns, we see all eight men facing off with each other before the fireworks explode and they all collide for a big brawl before the bell. After the smoke clears, it is Gresham who jumps into the early offensive lead for his team, beating down one-third of The Northern Armory.

Maclin takes over after tagging in, but his run in the offensive driver’s seat is short-lived, as “The Walking Weapon” takes over for the heel side. Frankie Kazarian tags in and picks up where he left off. “The King of TNA” elicits another big brawl between all eight guys.

On that note, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break as the main event of the evening continues. When the show returns, fans are loudly chanting “Frankie sucks!” as the 2024 Call Your Shot Gauntlet winner works over Eric Young. In the end, however, a shot with his trophy helps Kazarian lead his team to victory. That’s how this week’s show wraps up.

TNA Turning Point live results: Three title matches from WrestleCade

The annual WrestleCade convention in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, will host tonight’s TNA Turning Point — a show on TNA+ that will feature three title matches.

TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth will look to extend his run with the gold as he defends against former champion Eddie Edwards of The System.

In a two-out-of-three falls match for the Knockouts title, champion Masha Slamovich will rematch former champion Jordynne Grace while TNA X-Division Champion Moose will defend against Laredo Kid.

In an no DQ match, Josh Alexander will go one-on-one with Steve Maclin.

In a Turkey Bowl match, it will be Joe Hendry vs. Eric Young vs. Hammerstone vs. PCO vs. Brian Myers vs. John Skyler where the loser will have to wear a turkey outfit.

The card is rounded out by Mike Santana vs. Frankie Kazarian, and The Hardys & Ace Austin vs. KUSHIDA, Zachary Wentz and a mystery partner. The pre-show will feature a three-way of Rosemary vs. Xia Brookside vs. Savannah Evans.

The Countdown To Turning Point 2024 pre-show kicks off with Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt welcoming us to the show.

Joe Hendry Talks Turkey Ahead Of 2024 Turkey Bowl Match

Joe Hendry’s theme then hits and out he comes ahead of his Turkey Bowl match later in the evening. Hendry gets on the microphone and says he’d like to be in the world title picture, but instead he’s in the Turkey Bowl match. He brings up the other competitors in the match.

He has images of each participant flash on the screen. First up is Hammerstone. He says he’d be more marketable if he dressed up. We see Hammerstone with a turkey face. He asks the crowd if they should re-name him Hammer-Turkey or Turkey-Stone. The fans went with Turkey-Stone.

Hendry says unfortunately PCO can’t be here tonight, but he has been replaced by Rhino. He says he’d be better as another animal and we see a turkey over his face. Brian Myers’ image is put up next. He asks if the production crew can switch it to the worst pro wrestler of all-time.

The image blinks and the same image is shown. He asks the crowd if they’re ready for some wrestling action. He gets them to chant “T-N-A!” and then “We Believe!” to wrap things up.

Rosemary defeated Xia Brookside and Savannah Evans in a Knockouts triple-threat match

We move on to our first match of the evening, a triple-threat Knockouts match pitting Savannah Evans, Rosemary and Xia Brookside against each other. All three make their respective ring walks, the bell sounds and things get underway.

After some initial back-and-forth action, Evans starts to dominate on offense. Rosemary tries to steal the pin over Edwards, leading to Evans snatching Rosemary up and putting a scare into her. The two then turn their attention to Brookside, where they turn her inside-out with a double clothesline.

Evans and Rosemary jaw back-and-forth at each other again, and then head to go to work on Brookside again. This time, however, Brookside starts to fight back. She takes Rosemary out and knocks her out of the ring, before knocking Evans out to the ringside area with a dropkick.

Brookside goes for a middle-rope cross-body splash onto Evans and Rosemary, but they catch her and slam her on the ring apron with authority. The action resumes inside the ring, where Evans and Rosemary again team up and beat on Brookside together.

Their alliance ends soon after, with Rosemary thumbing Evans in the eye. Evans then levels Rosemary with a clothesline and sends Brookside back to the mat with a big boot to the chin.

We see some more back-and-forth action, and then Brookside hits a Brookside-Bomb on Evans off the ropes, but walks into a spear from Rosemary. Rosemary follows up with the cover for the win.

Gia Miller Interviews Steve Maclin

A Steve Maclin video package is shown, along with a look at the ongoing rivalry between Maclin and “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander. When it wraps up, Gia Miller is backstage with Steve Maclin. Maclin talks about Alexander making things very personal between them. He vows to make him pay tonight.

Hannifan and Rehwoldt run down the lineup for the show one final time as fans chant “TNA! TNA!” in the background. That’s how “Countdown to TNA Turning Point” wraps up. We now head into the pay-per-view portion of tonight’s big event as part of WrestleCade 2024 in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Mike Santana defeated Frankie Kazarian

The cold open video package airs to get things started and then we return inside the building, where Hannifan and Rehwoldt welcome us to the 19th annual TNA Turning Point. Mike Santana’s theme hits and out comes “The Realest” through the crowd for our opening contest.

Fans chant “Santana! Santana!” as he settles inside the squared circle. His music dies down, and then the theme for his opponent plays. Out comes the winner of the 2024 Call Your Shot Gauntlet, the self-proclaimed “King of TNA” Frankie Kazarian.

Santana goes after Kazarian, who early on tries everything he can to avoid the action. He leans through the ropes and hides behind the referee, but ultimately Santana gets his hands on him and jumps off into a comfortable early offensive lead.

He hits a springboard moonsault off the middle rope that looked scary for Santana. He follows that up with a dive through the ropes for a splash onto Kazarian on the floor. On the way back in the ring, Kazarian catches Santana coming through the ropes and shifts the offensive momentum into his favor.

Kazarian hits a leaping DDT to Santana on the ring apron. Santana is super slow to recover, and the commentators worked the serious voices for a few seconds there. Santana comes to life when leaping to the top like Kurt Angle, and throwing Kazarian overhead for a big comeback spot.

After some big moves attempted while running the ropes, Santana rolls through for a Rolling Buck-50 for a close two-count. Santana hits a big twisting-neckbreaker off the top-rope to Kazarian for another close two-count.

Kazarian fights back and slingshots Santana off the ring apron over the ropes and into the ring, catching him with a well-timed cutter on the way down for a close two-count of his own. Kazarian sets up Fade To Black, but Santana avoids it and hits a Spin The Block out of nowhere for the win.

Backstage With The System

Brian Myers is shown with the rest of The System, sans-JDC, backstage. Myers vows no one is going to see him in a turkey suit tonight. Moose sends a message to Laredo Kid ahead of his X-Division title defense.

He claims he’s taking his mask and sending him back to Mexico or Laredo, TX. Eddie Edwards finishes with a message for Nic Nemeth, making it clear he intends to leave tonight as the new TNA World Champion.

Joe Hendry defeated Brian Myers, Eric Young, John Skyler, Hammerstone and Rhino to win the 2024 Turkey Bowl

Back inside the building, The System theme hits and out comes Brian Myers first for our next match of the evening — the annual Turkey Bowl match! Eric Young makes his way out next. John Skyler comes out doing the Rick Rude “sweat-hogs” spiel. Hammerstone and Rhino follow, and finally, Joe Hendry.

The bell sounds and all six men immediately collide and splinter off into groups of two’s in various parts of the ring and ringside area. Hannifan speculates Hammerstone suffered an injury to his left leg as Young works over the lone competitor in the ring at the moment.

The referee calls for medical attention to check on Hammerstone as the match continues. He ends up remaining in the match, getting physically involved again just in time to be one of many competitors to be run over by a gore from Rhino. Myers takes out Rhino with a spear.

He sets up for another one, but runs into a Standing Ovation from Hendry. Hendry covers Myers and gets the pin. Brian Myers must wear the turkey suit. Hendry’s theme plays and he celebrates with the turkey suit in-hand. Myers tries to flee the scene, but is forced back into the ring.

Hendry hits an Attitude Adjustment on Myers and then he, Young and Rhino play to the crowd, who chants “Gore! Gore! Gore!” Young whips Myers into a gore from Rhino. Fans chant “Turkey Myers! Turkey Myers!” as the trio put the turkey suit on the unconscious Myers.

Rosemary Has Sights Set On TNA Knockouts Championship

Rosemary is shown in an empty stairwell talking crazy like always. She doesn’t care if it’s Jordynne Grace or Masha Slamovich, “we” have our sights set on that shiny, shiny prize.

“We want it and we will take it! We will take everything good in your lives. A harvester of despair!” She lets out one final psycho laugh and assures there is nothing anyone can do to stop her.

Moose (c) defeated Laredo Kid to retain the TNA X-Division Championship

Back inside the building, the X-Factors graphic flashes on the screen as Hannifan and Rehwoldt set the stage for our next match of the evening, which features the TNA X-Division Championship on-the-line.

Out comes masked fan-favorite Laredo Kid for his big title opportunity against the franchise and head honcho of The System — Moose. The bell sounds and Laredo gets right in Moose’s face. He shoves him to start things off.

Moose immediately begins manhandling his much smaller opposition. He sends him crashing and burning out to the floor with authority. He rams him into the barricade with vicious vengeance. Back in the ring, Alisha Edwards sneaks in some cheap shots on Kid from the floor.

Kid starts to show signs of life, fighting from underneath and blasting the big man with some strikes. He catches him with a wild Spanish Fly for a close two-count, but after that, Moose quickly took back over and ran over Kid with a spear for the win.

Steve Maclin defeated Josh Alexander in a No Disqualification match

The video package airs to tell the story leading up to our next match of the evening, which features Steve Maclin going one-on-one against “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander in a No Disqualification match.

Alexander makes his way to the ring first, with his trademark amateur wrestling headgear on. Out next wearing special war paint for the first time in a while is Maclin. The bell sounds and off we go with this No DQ showdown.

Maclin quickly takes it to Alexander, bringing the fight out to the floor. He drills Alexander with some stiff shots and then pulls a table out from under the ring and sets it up for a big pop.

They continue to fight outside the ring for several minutes on a floor with no protective mats, just a thin layer of carpet covering an unforgiving solid floor. Maclin hits a death valley driver on Alexander through the table.

Maclin grabs a steel chair and throws it in the ring. He grabs a trash can lid and whacks Alexander across the back with it. Back in the ring, Alexander starts to take over. He gets Maclin in the ankle lock temporarily. Long enough to mess up Maclin’s ankle, which he now focuses his attack on.

Alexander dumps Maclin back out to the floor in the pile of rubble that used to be a table. A light “Walking Weiner” chant spreads as “The Walking Weapon” continues to bring the fight to Maclin at ringside.

A “forbidden door” is pulled out from under the ring by Alexander, but Maclin dropkicks it into his face. Maclin picks the door up and knocks on it before setting it over top of a lifeless Alexander. He runs off the ring apron with a “Double Bang Bang” Cactus Jack-style elbow.

He then beats Alexander with the door, which like Rampage Jackson on a pissed off Ultimate Fighter set, quickly turns into a thousand toothpicks. Alexander fights back and uses what is left of the door to obliterate the leg of Maclin, which is wrapped around the ring post.

Alexander unfolds two steel chairs and sets them in the ring facing each other, seat-to-seat. He climbs up on them with both feet and picks up a lifeless Maclin, scooping him up for a pile driver, only for Maclin to escape and hit Alexander with an Alabama Slam onto the chairs. Fans chant “This is Awesome!”

Maclin goes to work on Alexander as the fans rally behind him. He hits a wild running busaiku knee through a steel chair to Alexander’s dome. Alexander recovers, however, and throws a chair at Maclin, Sabu-style, before launching him out to the floor with a Torture Rack Bomb through a table.

Alexander rolls what is left of Maclin into the ring and covers him, but somehow Maclin kicks out at two. Alexander immediately slaps an ankle lock on the weakened limb of Maclin. Maclin kicks Alexander off, sending him head-first into a trash can wedged in the turnbuckles in the corner.

Maclin hangs Alexander upside down in the tree of woe in the corner, with the trash can still wedged in the turnbuckles behind him. Maclin charges across the ring with a spear. And again. And a third time, which he follows up with a K.I.A.

He covers Alexander, and had him beat, but pulled him up after the count of two, favoring delivering more punishment over a guaranteed match victory in that moment. He heads out to the floor and reaches under the ring for the obligatory little black sack. What’s in this one? Bullet shell casings.

Maclin dumps the bullet shell casings in a big pile. He picks up Alexander for another K.I.A., but Alexander kicks Maclin low. Alexander hooks Maclin for a C4 Spike off the middle rope onto the bullet shell-casings, but Maclin avoids it and hits Alexander with a super-K.I.A. onto the shell-casings for the win. “Steve Maclin is bulletproof!” says Hannifan. Oh Tom. Now you’re being silly. Great match.

The Hardys & Ace Austin defeated Zachary Wentz, KUSHIDA & Matt Riddle

Hannifan and Rehwoldt mention Ace Austin is teaming up with North Carolina’s own The Hardys, Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy, for a big six-man tag-team showdown against the team of Zachary Wentz, KUSHIDA and a mystery partner, due to Trey Miguel having travel issues.

Before things get rolling for this match, a pre-match video package airs to promote the GoFundMe campaign set up for Chris Bey, the ABC tag-team partner of Ace Austin. When it wraps up, Ace Austin makes his way out for his team. The Hardys head out next to a huge reaction to join him.

Matt Hardy stops to embrace with his wife, Reby Hardy, and their children, before settling inside the squared circle for one of the featured matches of the evening. The Hardys’ iconic theme wraps up and the “DELETE! DELETE!” chants spread throughout the building.

“Time-Splitter” KUSHIDA is out first for their opposition. Marty McFly’s favorite wrestler settles inside the ring as Hannifan and Rehwoldt talk on commentary about Trey Miguel’s travel issues. Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz is out next by himself.

Wentz gets on the microphone and says he went to The Treehouse to think of the only potential replacement. “BRO!” hits the house speakers and out comes Matt Riddle to enthusiastic chants of “BRO! BRO! BRO!” to fill the void left by Miguel. The bell sounds and off we go.

The Hardys pull some clever veteran tactics to help their team jump into the early offensive lead. Austin tags in and takes over, taking it to KUSHIDA as the crowd cheers him on. KUSHIDA ends up hitting a seated dropkick to Austin to slow him down. He then tags Riddle in for the first time of the evening.

Riddle is now in a TNA ring for the first time ever. He muscles up Austin and hits a rolling gut-wrench suplex sequence. Austin takes over and finally makes the hot tag to Matt Hardy.

Hardy helps shift the momentum back into his team’s favor and sets up Jeff for the finish for the win. The Hardys and Ace Austin show respect to Riddle and company afterwards in a feel-good moment.

Masha Slamovich (c) defeated Jordynne Grace 2-1 to retain TNA Knockouts Championship in 2 out of 3 Falls match

It’s time for championship action for the second time this evening, with the women up this time, as the TNA Knockouts Championship is on-the-line next in a 2 out of 3 falls match.

Former title-holder Jordynne Grace’s theme hits and “The Juggernaut” makes her way to the ring to a nice crowd reaction. She settles inside the squared circle, her music dies down, and the entrance tune for the reigning champion hits to bring out Masha Slamovich.

The bell sounds to get this title tilt officially off-and-running. The two stay clinched standing and grappling on the mat in the initial exchanges. The two are off to a slow, feeling-out-process type of start in what will no doubt be a lengthy showdown with three potential falls in store.

Grace hits multiple clotheslines and a spinebuster for a two-count in the first hard-hitting offense sequence in the match thus far. Slamovich fights back and hoists Grace up on her back, launching her throat-first across the ring ropes. Slamovich decks Grace with a big clothesline of her own.

Slamovich hits a package piledriver to Grace on the unprotected floor at ringside. Scary stuff. Fans chant “Women’s Wrestling!” Back in the ring, Slamovich looks for another package piledriver, but this time Grace avoids it and starts to take over.

She looks for a muscle buster, but Slamovich avoids it. Slamovich hits a big knee. The two each attempt multiple roll-ups and pin attempts. Grace ends up scoring the first fall to jump up 1-0.

Moments later, Slamovich nearly ties things up with a double-stomp into a cover, but Grace kicks out. Slamovich slaps a sleeper on Grace afterwards, however, and “The Juggernaut” begins to fade. The fans rally behind Grace, who comes to life and ultimately escapes.

Grace hits a Vertebreaker for a super close two-count for a near shutout. Slamovich kicks out and hangs on. Grace looks for the Juggernaut Driver, but Slamovich saw it coming and fought it off. Slamovich hits a wild tornado DDT and floats over into a deep guillotine choke. Grace begins fading.

The referee does the old-school Hulk Hogan arm-check one times, two times, but on the third, we get the always-fun defiant wrist-shake. Slamovich ends up getting a roll-up cradle out of nowhere for a three-count to tie things up at 1-1 heading into the third and final fall.

Grace immediately goes after Slamovich out of frustration and begins ground-and-pounding the hell out of her. Meanwhile, living up to her promise earlier in the show is Rosemary, who comes out of the shadows in the background to get a closer look at this championship contest.

Slamovich blasts Grace with a knee to the face and follows up with a sit-out powerbomb. She then hits a package piledriver for the pinfall victory. Slamovich wins 2-1 to retain her TNA Knockouts Championship. Rosemary is still watching in the background with a specific target now in her sights.

Nic Nemeth (c) defeated Eddie Edwards (w/ Alisha Edwards) to retain the TNA World Championship

It’s main event time!

But first, Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt check-in with a brief on-camera appearance to announce three matches for the December 5 post-Turning Point episode of TNA iMPACT on AXS TV and TNA+ (see below). We then see the video package to tell the story leading up to our TNA World Championship main event.

Back inside the building, The System theme hits to bring out Eddie Edwards. He settles inside the squared circle accompanied by Alisha Edwards, and his music dies down. After the always-present audible female, well, moan, we hear the 1980s hair-metal sounding entrance tune for “The Wanted Man” Nic Nemeth.

The ring announcer handles the final formal pre-match ring introductions for the champion and the challenger, and then the bell sounds to get the final match of the 19th annual TNA Turning Point show officially off-and-running.

Nemeth jumps off in the early offensive lead, but after Alisha makes her presence felt from the ringside area, Eddie Edwards starts to shift the momentum in his favor. Edwards controls the action for a few minutes, stopping to distract the referee long enough for Alisha to sneak in some cheap shots from ringside again.

Nemeth fights back into competitive form, and just as it seems he’s about to pull back ahead, Alisha plays a momentum shifting factor again, jumping on the apron and allowing Edwards to hit a dropkick off the distraction.

Fans chant “Alisha Sucks!” and ,”F**k The System!” as Edwards continues to work over Nemeth. Nemeth finally decks Edwards, and now both guys are down and slowly getting back to their feet. They do, and then begin trading shots back-and-forth in the middle of the ring.

A headbutt from Nemeth allows him to pull ahead, only for Alisha, yet again, to get involved and affect the momentum of the match. The referee caught it this time and ejects her from ringside to the delight of the Winston-Salem crowd.

Nemeth calls for the FameAsser, only to walk into a counter from Edwards. Nemeth starts to fight back again, and this time he hits a FameAsser. He goes for the cover, but only gets two. As he gets up, we see Alisha Edwards, who was ejected from ringside, re-appear.

Nemeth grabs her from the ring apron, but ducks when Edwards charges at him. Nemeth gets hit with a cheap shot with the title. Edwards follows up with a Boston Knee Party for a super close two-count. Alisha is still at ringside, prompting Hannifan to yell and complain on commentary about why that is simply being allowed all of a sudden. Excellent question, by the way.

Edwards goes for the Die-Hard-driver, but Nemeth counters and hits his Danger Zone finisher for a super close two-count of his own. “Holy hot damn!” exclaims Rehwoldt. An actual quote. Hannifan goes back on the verbal offensive over Alisha being allowed to remain at ringside.

Both guys end up laid out on the floor at ringside, when out of nowhere, out runs Brian Myers, still decked out head-to-toe in the turkey suit that was put on him earlier. He hits the ring but before he can do anything, JBL appears in the crowd.

Hannifan plays Bobby Heenan on commentary, questioning who’s side he is on as he approaches the ring. He enters the ring and lays out Turkey Myers with a Clothesline from Hell. Fans chant “JBL! JBL!” as he simply exits the ring and leaves once again without saying a word or doing anything other than landing a devastating match-outcome-altering clothesline.

Nemeth drags himself back in the ring. Edwards does the same. The two mix it up, with Nemeth landing a super-kick and Danger Zone for the win. With the win, Nic Nemeth is still your TNA World Champion. Hannifan says it’s time we get some answers regarding JBL’s relationship with Nemeth, as Nemeth poses on the ropes with his title.

Big Vinny V: TNA Impact & the road to Friday’s Turning Point

This past Thursday’s TNA Impact was dedicated to building up Turning Point and this week’s Big Vinny V Show is dedicated to talking about that effort.

That build up was the theory, at least. The good news is we now know Masha Slamovich will be defending the Knockouts title against Jordynne Grace and there’s reason to believe it will be even better than last time.

Otherwise? We had Ash by Elegance going on a win streak against the Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Mike Santana and Frankie Kazarian having a promo battle to give the former something to do on the streaming app special, a tag team match that set up a challenger for Moose’s X-Division title in bizarre fashion, and a trios match with nothing on the line that will led to a three-way trios match with nothing on the line.

Oh, and a mini-movie exploring the horrors of warfare and Steve Maclin’s PTSD.

WWE NXT live results: Trick Williams & Bubba Ray Dudley team up at former ECW Arena

WWE NXT Champion Trick Williams will team with Bubba Ray Dudley against former champion Ethan Page and Ridge Holland as part of tonight’s live debut from the former ECW Arena.

Dudley and Holland got into a verbal altercation at last month’s Halloween Havoc leading to Dudley getting physically involved in defending Williams on last week’s NXT TV.

The show is taking place on a different night as well, going head-to-head with AEW Dynamite.

In an all-star 10-woman tag team match, former TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace returns to team with Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, Kelani Jordan and Zaria against NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade, and all three members of Fatal Influence.

In an homage to the now-2300 Arena, Lola Vice will go one-on-one with Jaida Parker in a hardcore match with former ECW manager Dawn Marie as special guest referee.

In an anticipated singles bout, Je’Von Evans will go to battle with Wes Lee.

The show begins with a canned intro that uses the ECW “This is Extreme!” theme song, along with clips from NXT action. NXT is live on the air from the corner of Swanson and Ritner, from the former home of the ECW Arena.

In the crowd is someone dressed like Hat Guy, and his seat is nearly in the same spot. Opening the show is a “hardcore” match.

Jaida Parker defeated Lola Vice in a hardcore match with Dawn Marie as special guest referee

Parker pinned Vice after a hip attack finisher. They steal a page from the Friday script, except in this version the heel grabs a brick and hits the babyface. That set up the finish.

Metal folding chairs are used early and often in the match. There are spinning back fists into chairs, chairs wedged between the ropes, chairs scattered in the ring, and also chair shots of course. Vice tries to get a table from underneath the ring, but Parker shoves the table back under the ring.

Double clothesline on the floor, and a double down as the show cuts to its first commercial break. When the show returns, ladders, trash cans, and kendo sticks (or “Singapore canes” since this is an ECW tribute show).

Vice is put on a ladder bridged in the ropes, and Parker jumps off a standing ladder in the ring. Parker with a “teardrop” senton and crushes the ladder bridge, and Parker gets a near fall. Vice fights back to apply a choke, yet Parker is able to escape. They took turns hitting each other with the Singapore canes, and they took some big bumps.

Just before they go home, Vice has Parker trapped in a chokehold. Parker is able to pick up a gimmicked brick that is laying in the ring, and Parker hits Vice with the brick. The hold is broken of course, and Parker gets to her feet so she can run the ropes. Parker delivers her hip attack finisher, and Parker covers Vice for a three count.

Ridge Holland and Ethan Page are together to cut promos on their opponents for tonight. Notably, Page says there will be no tables in their match.

Wes Lee ambushes Rob Van Dam in a backstage skit. RVD is giving some advice to Kelani Jordan, who points Rob in the direction of Ava’s office. Suddenly, Wes Lee runs in to attack RVD. The skit is shot in a way that chair shots are not seen, but heard instead.

Adrianna Rizzo against Nikkita Lyons in a singles match is official for next week, which is first mentioned in a skit where Nunzio (Little Guido) and Tony Mamaluke meet up with a Tony D’Angelo and his Family for not checking in. Nunzio is apparently now a gangster from Philly. It was silly, but not in the fun way when Little Guido ran with the FBI.

Je’Von Evans defeated Wes Lee

Evans pinned Lee, in a match where RVD shows up at ringside. This was a pretty dang good match, and it was more in the spirit of the original ECW than anything else on the show so far.

The match goes through a commercial break. The show cuts to commercial after Lee drops Evans with a brain buster on the ring steps.

Less brawling after the break, and more high spots. Lots of flying. Evans does his double springboard into a cutter, but Lee rolls out of the ring before Evans can make a cover. Evans then sails through the ropes with tope suicida that sends him crashing over the announce desk.

Lee gets a chair and goes to hit Evans, but the ref takes the chair away. Moments later, Lee gets the chair again. That brings out RVD, who made a miraculous recovery. Lee confronts RVD, and RVD ducks a chair shot. Evans then dives over the ropes on Lee.

Rolling back into the ring, Lee takes a flying cutter from Evans. RVD cheers on Evans as he does a frog splash, and Evans covers Lee for a pinfall.

Eddy Thorpe wants to speak with Ava, but she makes an excuse and says it can wait. Ava is headed to the ring alongside Stevie Turner and Robert Stone.

After a commercial break, Ava and company are in the ring. The crowd is tough as Ava announces the next NXT PLE will be Deadline. Robert Stone butts in to cut a promo on Philly fans. Stone puts over New York fans over Philly fans. Stone keeps cutting a promo on Philly when the arena lights go dark. The lights come back on and Rhino is in the ring. Rhino gores Stone, and the crowd pops.

Ridge Holland & Ethan Page defeated NXT Champion Trick Williams & Bubba Ray Dudley

Holland pinned Williams to win the match. With Holland pinning the champion, that likely sets up a title bout for the near future. D-Von Dudley made a cameo in a post-match angle.

Holland shoves Bubba early on, so they square off. Later on, Bubba cleans house after a mildly hot tag. The crowd was nonetheless hot for Bubba. The heels are reeling as the show cuts to a commercial break.

When the show returns from the break, Bubba is crotched on the ring post. Holland & Page then get heat on Bubba, as they work him over. Bubba is audibly calling spots clear as day, as he sets up to deliver a spear. Hot tag to Trick, and he is a house of fire. All four are involved in the match just before the finish.

For the finish, Holland dodges Trick’s knee strike finisher, and Holland rolls up Trick for a pinfall.

Page jumps Trick after the match. Holland then joins in to team up on Trick. Page & Holland are beating down Trick when Bubba makes a save. Bubba and Trick do the “wazzzup” and the “get the tables” spots, which were actually not part of ECW lore. Whatever, though. It got over with the live crowd.

When Trick went to get a table, he could not find a table under the ring. They wondered what to do when the Dudley’s theme song blares, and out comes D’Von Dudley with a table. Page is then put through a table. D-Von then presents Trick with a pair of Dudley glasses.

The love story between Ashante “Thee” Adonis and Karmen Petrovic continues to blossom. Slow burn here.

NXT North American Champion Tony D’Angelo (with The Family) defeated Nunzio (with Tony Mamaluke)

D’Angelo pinned Nunzio after a spinebuster. Nunzio looked very thin in tights, but he can still work pretty well. He did a few of his signature spots, before getting a crowbar to use. The ref takes the crowbar from Nunzio, and D’Angelo finishes him off. D’Angelo executes his finisher, and he covers Nunzio for a pinfall. Tony D and Nunzio embrace after the match after shaking hands.

Backstage, Shawn Spears tells Brooks Jensen that he is “feeling Italian” next week in Orlando.

In footage from last week, Mr. William Regal shakes hands and says farewell to Lexis King. Regal the runs into Charlie Dempsey and the No Quarter Crew. Regal remarks to Dempsey that King is not his father’s son. Regals asks Dempsey is he is his father’s son. Dempsey says time will tell. The inside joke here is Dempsey’s actual father is Regal.

Francine is shown in the front row of ringside.

TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace, Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, Kelani Jordan & Zaria defeated NXT Women’s North American Champion Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, Jazmyn Nyz, Cora Jade & NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez

Zaria pinned Perez to win the match. This was a good match where everyone got to shine or get some spots in. Giulia and Vaquer worked together with tandem moves, since they are an established team. Zaria eventually tags in, and she looks strong.

All ten face off in a standoff that turns into a slugfest. Jordan does a moonsault off the top rope to the floor, just before the show cuts to its final commercial break. A replay shows the moonsault in slow motion as the show fades into commercials.

After returning from the break, heat on Jordan. She is kept away from her corner, as Jordan is in peril. Hot tag to Grace, and she is a house of fire. She gets a near fall on Jade.

Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson come down to ringside, and they are wiped out with high flying from Vaquer & Giulia.

Everyone gets involved with a parade of high spots in the closing moments. Zaria inadvertently spears Grace in the match, which was a very notable spot.

For the finish itself, Perez goes for Pop Rocks. Zaria blocks the move, and Zaria gives Perez the F-5. Zaria then covers Perez to win the match.

The babyfaces celebrate with their hands’ raised, as the ECW theme song plays before the show fades to black.

There was some really good wrestling on the show, but this was the lamest ECW tribute I have seen. As a fan of the original ECW, this show had none of the magic of past tribute shows.

Big Vinny V: TNA Bound for Glory recap

Last Saturday featured TNA Wrestling’s biggest show of the year — Bound for Glory — with some very high highs and a few very low lows.

The highs: Vikingo vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey in a spectacular X-Division showcase, PCO vs. Matt Cardona destroying each other for our entertainment; and Masha Slamovich vs. Jordynne Grace for the Knockouts title in one of the company’s best matches all year.

The lows? A string of referees who did not understand the assignment, most notably Frankie Kazarian, and wishy-washy booking that completely ruined the Nic Nemeth vs. Joe Hendry World title match.

TNA Bound for Glory live results: Nic Nemeth vs. Joe Hendry World title match

One of the breakout stars of 2024 will try to become TNA World Champion in the main event of tonight’s Bound for Glory from Detroit as Nic Nemeth defends against Joe Hendry with Frankie Kazarian as special referee.

Reigning Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will look to extend her near-300 day reign as she defends against Masha Slamovich.

In a three-way for the TNA Tag Team titles, The System’s Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers defend against Jeff & Matt Hardy and ABC in a Full Metal Mayhem match.

X-Division titleholder “Speedball” Mike Bailey will defend against Vikingo while in a Monster’s Ball match, Digital Media & International Champion PCO defends against Matt Cardona.

Josh Alexander will face Steve Maclin while Mike Santana takes on another former World Champion in Moose.

TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions Spitfire defends against NXT’s Wendy Choo & Rosemary.

The pre-show will feature a 20-man Call Your Shot gauntlet match; Ash & Heather by Elegance vs. NXT’s Xia Brookside & Brinley Reece; and the annual Hall of Fame ceremony.

Ash & Heather By Elegance defeated Xia Brookside & Brinley Reece

The Countdown to TNA Bound For Glory pre-show kicks off inside Wayne State Fieldhouse with George Iceman coming to the ring with a microphone in-hand. He welcomes beauty personified — times two. With that said, out comes Ash & Heather By Elegance, dressed up as the devil and an angel, respectively.

WWE NXT Superstar Brinley Reece comes out first for their opposition. Then out to the late-1990s pop-rock, American Pie soundtrack missing-tune comes her partner, Xia Brookside, to a pretty good pop from the Detroit crowd.

Reece and Heather kick things off for their respective teams, as fans immediately break out in the first of what will likely be many “TNA! TNA!” chants for the evening. Reece controls Heather and then tags in Brookside, who picks up where she left off, taking it to Ash By Elegance’s new protégé.

After Heather tags back in, the action spills to the floor, where Ash provides an assist that leads to a shift in the offensive momentum. Fans chant “You still suck! You still suck!” as the angel and devil duo take turns controlling Reece in the ring.

After a loud “We want Xia!” chant spreads throughout the building, Reece fires back up and makes the much-needed tag. Brookside hits the ring off the hot tag with a ton of momentum, and connects with Broken Wings in the corner.

Reece tags back in and after a big move, gets a close two-count on Ash. Reece hits a big power spot after that and seemingly has things won, only for Iceman to interfere to a ton of heat from the Detroit crowd. Fans chant “Kick his ass! Kick his ass!” as Brookside chases him around the ring.

She gets him down and chokes him out with his own sport coat. Meanwhile, Reece is hit with a Spanish Fly by Heather and Rarified Air by Ash for the finish. Iceman celebrates with Ash and Heather in the ring to wrap up the opener.

Bob Ryder, Rhino Inducted Into 2024 Class Of TNA Hall Of Fame

The induction video package for Bob Ryder airs for the 2024 class of the TNA Wrestling Hall of Fame. The package featured Jeff Jarrett, Kurt Angle, James Storm, Frankie Kazarian, Josh Mathews and many others singing the praises of the longtime TNA office employee.

When the package wraps up, Eric Young comes out to a podium at the end of the entrance ramp to give an induction speech for his longtime personal friend, Bob Ryder. Fans in the building chant “Thank you, Bob!”

Young gives a speech about what a good person Ryder was and mentions his passing and how he’s watching now proudly. He is given credit for being along with Jeff and Jerry Jarrett, one of a handful of people responsible for TNA’s existence.

When that wraps up, the induction video package for former ECW original Rhino airs. Many of the same talking heads are featured giving kind words about “The Man Beast” / “The War Machine.” When the package wraps up, Tommy Dreamer comes out to deliver an induction speech.

Dreamer talks about Rhino being “everything a classic big man should be.” That’s right, 5’10” “big man.” We all get what he means, but still. Dreamer gives Rhino’s long list of credentials from his days in WWE, ECW and TNA. Dreamer says Rhino looks and works as good as ever now as he did in his prime.

He then wraps up joking about Rhino saying every year that it’s going to be the Detroit Lions’ year. The fans in Detroit loved that and broke out into a loud pro-Lions chant. Rhino is then introduced and out he comes in a bright red suit coat to the obligatory “You deserve it!” chant.

Rhino delivers an excellent line about being in shock that they found a decent suit jacket that fit Dreamer. He follows that up with an awesome joke about his wife. The crowd gives him some flack for it and he quickly quips, “C’mon you’re supposed to be on my side tonight!”

Rhino’s personality is shining through in ways in this induction speech that he’s maybe never shown in decades of performing in front of cameras. Really good, genuine stuff. He thanks his family, Paul Heyman and even his “WWE family.” He thanks Triple H for never stop believing in him.

He thanks Jim Ross and Pat Patterson for always believing in him and pushing for him to get a second chance. He thanks Edge, Christian and Joe Legend for always being his friend no matter what. He says Dreamer is like a brother to him. He thanks Johnny Swinger and tells him to keep swinging, baby.

He thanks Scott D’Amore for training him. He mentions having two minutes left. He thanks Heath Slater. He calls him a great human being and says in 2017, his brother Jim was diagnosed with cancer and given a death sentence.

He only lived two-and-a-half months after it and Heath would talk to him and he could see the cancer go away and the life come back in his voice. He says for a moment in time he would give his brother moments in life. He thanks Heath again. He leads fans in a “GORE!” chant and wraps up an awesome induction speech.

Frankie Kazarian Wins 2024 Call Your Shot Gauntlet

After the 2024 TNA Hall of Fame segment wraps up, we shift gears and get ready for the Call Your Shot Gauntlet. Out first comes Frankie Kazarian. Starting things off with Kazarian will be Zachary Wentz. The bell sounds and these two will kick things off for the first two minutes.

Wentz takes the early offensive lead and after some back-and-forth action, the countdown clock appears to bring out Jake Something at number three. Something immediately hits the ring and makes an impact, taking it to both Wentz and Kazarian with power offense.

Something and Kazarian both try and throw Wentz over the top, and as they do, the countdown clock appears again. Trey Miguel makes his way out in the fourth position and provides some help for Wentz. The crowd comes to life as Miguel flies all over the place, taking out any-and-everything that moves in the process.

Wentz recovers and joins in with Miguel as the Detroit crowd breaks out into a “Let’s go Rascalz!” chant. The countdown clock appears and winds down to bring out Hammerstone. Now Jake Something has some assistance, and four of the five men in the ring are part of teams.

Hammerstone powerbombs Wentz into Miguel. Kazarian tries ordering Hammerstone around, but this backfires on him. Hammerstone and Something run over “The King of TNA” with a big double-clothesline. The countdown clock winds down and Rohit Raju comes out as the seventh competitor in the gauntlet.

Out as the eighth participant in the gauntlet a couple of minutes later is Laredo Kid. Fans chant “Lucha! Lucha!” as the masked-man hits the ring with a ton of energy, but within seconds is eliminated. Miguel works on Hammerstone outside of the ring ropes on the apron, but Something hits him from behind.

Hammerstone launches Miguel onto Laredo Kid on the floor to eliminate him. The countdown clock winds down at the same time and out comes Sami Callihan. As he enters the ring, Hammerstone is eliminated. Callihan hits a Cactus Driver ’97 almost immediately.

John Skyler comes out next and after a couple of minutes, Bhupinder Gujjar comes out as the next entrant. Gujjar is nearly eliminated by Raju, but in Shawn Michaels and Ricky Steamboat-fashion, he skins the cat with relative ease. Trent Seven comes out next to a big pop in his return hometown appearance.

KC Navarro comes out next, but walks right into “The Death Machine.” Sami Callihan Donkey Kong’s him into the mat with authority for a big pop. Moments later, Raju and Gujjar eliminate themselves, and John Skyler gets eliminated just as 2024 TNA Hall of Fame inductee Rhino makes his way out.

Rhino immediately eliminates Callihan as the crowd goes berserk. Fans chant “Gore! Gore! Gore!” Rhino ties Chris Sabin tonight with his 13th match at a TNA Bound For Glory event. The countdown clock winds down and out comes Tasha Steelz as the first Knockout in this year’s bout.

Steelz hits the ring and blasts Navarro with a standing cutter that launches him half way across the ring. Steelz and Rhino have a big staredown, Brock Lesnar and GUNTHER style. Rhino hoists her up but sets her down. Steelz does a twerk dance.

The countdown clock strikes and Lei Ying Lee comes out as the second Knockout entrant in the gauntlet. Within a minute, Lee eliminates the only other female in the ring, as she blasts Steelz with a kick that sends her over the ropes and out to the floor.

Jason Hotch is out as the next entrant. Navarro is eliminated. Leon Slater is out next and he immediately starts racking up a body count, bouncing bodies all over the place, but not yet actually eliminating anyone. Kazarian blasts Lee with a clothesline, which elicits a ton of heat.

She is eliminated seconds later. Jonathan Gresham comes out as entrant number 18. JDC comes out as the 19th entrant and quickly eliminates Slater for a ton of heat. Seven hits a Seven-Star Lariat on JDC just as the countdown clock appears again. Out comes AJ Francis as the 20th and final competitor.

Gresham, Seven and Hotch are eliminated in rapid-fire-style fashion. Wentz hits a death valley driver on the ring apron outside the ropes to Something to eliminate him. Wentz nearly hurricanrana’s Francis over the ropes, but Something provides the assist from the floor, yanking Wentz out and eliminating him.

Fans chant “Gore! Gore! Gore!” as they see Rhino, JDC, AJ Francis and Frankie Kazarian as the final competitors remaining. Rhino eliminates JDC but turns around into a gore from Francis. The crowd craps all over that, as you would expect. Francis tries throwing Rhino out, but Rhino slides out the back door and clotheslines Francis out for a massive pop.

Rhino turns around and sees Kazarian down in the corner. Kazarian slowly gets to his feet and the bell sounds for a standard one-on-one bout between Kazarian and Rhino. Kazarian hits a low-blow on Rhino that the referee doesn’t see and within all of a minute, scores a pin for the victory.

Frankie Kazarian is the 2024 Call Your Shot Gauntlet winner. He is presented with his trophy and he celebrates. The commentators talk about him being able to call for a title shot of his choosing at any time of his choosing in the next year.

They point out with him being the third man in the ring for tonight’s TNA World title bout between Nic Nemeth and Joe Hendry, that things could get interesting. Hannifan and Rehwoldt are shown on-camera one final time to wrap up the Countdown to TNA Bound For Glory pre-show. It’s pay-per-view time!

“Speedball” Mike Bailey defeated El Hijo del Vikingo to retain the TNA X-Division Championship

An excellent cold open video package airs to start off the PPV portion of TNA Bound For Glory 2024. Back inside the Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit, MI., the theme plays to bring out El Hijo del Vikingo. After he settles in the ring, reigning TNA X-Division Champion “Speedball” Mike Bailey emerges.

Fans are chanting “Holy sh*t! Holy sh*t!” before Bailey’s theme is even finished playing. His theme wraps up and the bell sounds, eliciting a loud “This is Awesome! This is Awesome!” chant before the two touch. They shake hands and get in a Street Fighter video game-style fighting stance. The fight is on.

Hannifan says tonight is the highest grossing Bound For Glory show in 11 years. del Vikingo hits a turning spot in the ring that looked, like much of his offense, awe-inspiring. He hits another twisting splash to Bailey after diving through the ropes out to the floor.

He goes for a big high spot off the ropes back in the ring, but Bailey moves and avoids it. del Vikingo stops and the referee checks on his knee, before Bailey reengages and specifically focuses his attack on the knee of the challenger.

The two proceed to put on an instant classic of high-risk, high-impact offensive showcases for the next ten minutes, including an insane Canadian Destroyer off the ropes onto the hard part of the ring apron. In the end, Bailey hit a float-over super-plex off the ropes for the victory to retain his X-Division Championship in an epic title tilt.

Spitfire defeated Wendy Choo & Rosemary to retain the TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Championships

Rehwoldt and Hannifan appear on-camera to run down the rest of the card still to come and then set the stage for our second PPV bout of the evening, which is another championship contest. Wendy Choo and Rosemary come out together as the challengers for a Knockouts tag-team title tilt.

Spitfire duo Jody Threat and Dani Luna make their way out next for their latest title defense. The bell sounds and it is Threat and Choo who kick things off for their respective teams. Threat takes the early offensive lead before tagging in Luna.

Choo pulls Luna’s hair and brings her to her own corner, where she tags in Rosemary. We see the pillow used as a cushion for the heel challengers, resulting in the poor pillow being suplexed out to the floor. True story.

Choo and Rosemary start to sneak around with cheap heel tactics behind the referee’s back, which allows them to shift the offensive momentum in their favor. They isolate Threat on their side of the ring and prevent her from making the tag, all-the-while utilizing frequent tags themselves to keep a fresh person on her at all times.

Luna finally gets the tag and she does a good job of taking over, but eventually falls victim to a two-on-one attack by Choo and Rosemary in a prolonged beatdown at ringside. Threat hits a high spot off the ropes to even things out, while also breaking the referee’s count to keep the match going.

After the big high spot, Threat heads back to the corner and cheers on Luna to make the tag, only for Choo to yank her off the apron. Rosemary then follows up with a spear to Luna in the ring. She immediately covers her, but decides to pull Luna up before the referee could count to three.

She tags in Choo and the two set Luna up for a double suplex off the middle rope. Luna escapes and brings them both down with a double powerbomb. She makes the tag and Threat comes in delivering blows to Choo and Rosemary over-and-over again, until running into double-knees by Choo.

Rosemary accidentally blasts Choo. Threat trips Choo onto Rosemary draped over the middle rope. She hits a running double knees to their stacked-backs and then connects with a double German suplex. She tags Luna in and the two hit the Pressure Drop for the win to retain. After the match, Rosemary spears Choo and lays her out. She grabs her lifeless head and lifts it up and kisses her before leaving her laying.

Gia Miller Interviews Special Referee Frankie Kazarian

Backstage, Frankie Kazarian, fresh off of his victory in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match earlier in the evening, is shown reading Earl Hebner’s autobiography. Gia Miller walks up and he tells her he’s busy reading and studying for his special referee assignment tonight.

The self-proclaimed “King of TNA” then talks briefly about his plans as the Call Your Shot Gauntlet winner. Joe Hendry and Nic Nemeth are shown making their arrivals to the building for their main event title tilt later in tonight’s main event.

Josh Alexander defeated Steve Maclin

Back inside the arena, Steve Maclin’s theme hits and out he comes for the next PPV match of the evening. He settles in the ring and then the entrance tune for Josh Alexander hits. “The Walking Weapon” emerges, only to be rushed by Maclin.

Maclin meets him as soon as he walks through the entrance tunnel at the top of the entrance staging area. Hannifan and Rehwoldt talk about Sinner & Saint not being here tonight due to travel issues, noting Maclin gets Alexander all by himself tonight after being zip-tied and attacked on Thursday.

After a couple of minutes of beating down Alexander at ringside, Alexander finally starts to fight back and take over. He does the old-school Bret Hart-style sharpshooter around the ring post to soften up the leg of Maclin. He enters the ring and the referee finally calls for the bell.

Alexander immediately rushes across the ring and goes straight to work on the leg that he just began softening up of Maclin. Fans get on his case with “Walking Weiner” chants. Maclin starts to take over but after a few more minutes of action, Alexander blatantly low-blows Maclin after the referee is bumped.

While the referee is still down, Alexander zip-ties Maclin’s hands behind his back. Maclin starts to fight back with his hands still cuffed behind him. The referee tries during a lull in the action to untie his hands, but Maclin just moves away from him and dives through the ropes to splash onto Alexander on the floor.

Back in the ring, he does the same thing, refusing to wait for the ref to cut his hands free, opting instead to land a running double-knee to “The Walking Weapon.” Again Maclin refuses to be untied by the ref, and this time it backfires, as Alexander hits a tombstone pile driver to Maclin with his hands cuffed behind him.

Dangerous stuff. He goes for the cover, and even with his hands tied behind his back, Maclin still gets a shoulder up. Alexander goes for the C4 Spike, but Maclin avoids it. Alexander hits a German suplex to Maclin, who no-sells it and pops back up with his hands still behind his back.

Alexander locks Maclin in the ankle lock. The commentators point out that Maclin can’t tap out or grab the ropes due to them being cuffed behind him. Maclin passes out, presumably due to extreme leg pain? Alexander wins with an ankle lock due to pass out by Maclin.

PCO defeated Matt Cardona in a Monster’s Ball match to retain the TNA Digital Media & International Heavyweight Championships

We see footage of Masha Slamovich and Jordynne Grace arriving to the building earlier today, as the commentators mention we’re not far from our triple main event. First, however, the pre-match video package airs to tell the story leading up to our next PPV match.

Up next is the Monster’s Ball match between PCO and Matt Cardona for the TNA Digital Media and International Heavyweight Championships. When the “road to” style package wraps up, we hear the familiar sounds of “Alwayz Ready” Matt Cardona’s theme.

Out comes “The Indy God” looking as tan as ever, wearing a “Deathmatch Busters” Ghostbusters-style ring gear. He settles in the ring and then the lights in the building go out. The entrance for PCO begins. Out comes “The French-Canadian Frankenstein” to a big pop.

The bell sounds and off we go with this Monster’s Ball double title tilt. This is the 59th ever Monster’s Ball match in TNA history. That seems like a lot. PCO is undefeated at 3-0 in his Monster’s Ball match history. Cardona’s first few offensive attempts result in a no-sell by PCO, who nearly be-heads him with a lariat.

Cardona side-steps PCO as he charged at him at full-speed, and guides him through the ropes, where he crashes and burns on the floor at ringside. Cardona slides through the bottom rope with a baseball slide dropkick to PCO, before sending him into the ring post, and then the ring steps.

The violence levels pick up from there, as a door is brought in instead of a table. It is put in the corner and used as the back-drop for a big spear spot. Another door is brought out and laid long ways across about four steel chairs set up by Cardona.

Cardona powerbombs PCO off the ropes through it. Cardona pulls a sack full of thumbtacks out from under the ring. He takes a handful of them and puts them in PCO’s mouth, before blasting him with a Re-Boot. He hits a Radio Silence and goes for the cover, but PCO kicks out.

Cardona one-by-one pushes thumbtacks into PCO’s cheek. Eek. A third door is pulled out from under the ring. As Cardona is holding it in the ring, PCO runs and splashes onto it and him for a close two-count. Now we see PCO pull out a second black sack from under the ring.

He sprinkles out a ton of thumbtacks all over the ring mat. Cardona, who has blood all over one of his pant legs, heads out to the floor and grabs a baseball bat wrapped in neon green barbed wire. He stabs it into the face of PCO, who fights back and ultimately chokeslams Cardona onto the pile of tacks. He follows up with a PCO-sault for the win to retain his titles in a fun violent brawl.

Mike Santana defeated Moose

The “road to” style pre-match video package airs to tell the story leading up to our next match of the evening, which features Moose of The System going one-on-one against Mike Santana. Hip-hop star Westside Gunn is shown in the first row as Moose makes his ring entrance.

Mike Santana is out next to a big crowd reaction from the packed house in Detroit. Fans break out in a dueling “Spin the Block” / “Moose!” chant as the two stare each other down at the sound of the bell. Santana charges at Moose and the two immediately brawl out to the floor.

After this continues for a few minutes, the match resumes inside the ring where Santana starts to fight back into competitive form. Moose cuts his comeback short, however, and proceeds to settle into a comfortable prolonged run in the offensive driver’s seat.

Santana begins a fired up comeback, only for JDC of The System to hit the ring and try to interfere. Santana ends up taking him out with a Spin the Block and follows up with another to Moose. He goes for the cover but only gets two.

Moose hits a big Spear, but Santana somehow kicks out of that. Santana hits another Spin the Block for the big win. Hannifan stresses on commentary that Santana worked his way through each member of The System before taking out the head of the snake on TNA’s biggest stage tonight.

Masha Slamovich defeated Jordynne Grace to become the new TNA Knockouts Champion

Now it’s time for part one of the TNA Bound For Glory 2024 triple-main event, as up next is the TNA Knockouts Championship bout. The pre-match package airs to tell the story leading up to tonight’s showdown between Masha Slamovich and “The Juggernaut” Jordynne Grace.

The Tale of the Tape graphic flashes on the screen when we return live, and then Slamovich makes her way out to what is a pretty surprisingly big reaction from the crowd. Out next to a bigger pop is the reigning champ, Grace, who looks extra dolled up for tonight’s big show.

After the long, drawn out, formal ring introductions for this championship contest and our first of three co-main events, the bell sounds and the two shake hands before getting after it. Slamovich starts off strong, but then Grace takes over and targets the knee of the challenger.

Grace picks Slamovich up and bounces her knee off the ring post at ringside over-and-over again. Back in the ring, Slamovich eventually starts to fight back into competitive form. She hits a Snow Plow for a super close two-count. Grace fights back and hits a Kryptonite Crunch for a two-count.

Slamovich is launched to the floor where she lands hard, drawing an audible collective gasp from the Detroit crowd in attendance. Slamovich hoists Grace up and connects with a Burning Hammer for another super close two-count. Fans chant “TNA! TNA!” as both are slow to get back to their feet.

After Slamovich lands an assortment of kicks, Grace catches one of them and in one swift motion, hoists Slamovich up across her shoulders. She plants her into the mat and then quickly muscles her back up right into a Juggernaut Driver. She immediately goes for the cover, but somehow Slamovich kicks out.

Grace locks Slamovich in a tight leg submission that she cranks away on, wrenching away at the injured knee that she has been softening up the entire night. Somehow Slamovich hangs on and makes it to the ropes. Fans chant “This is Awesome! This is Awesome!”

The champ looks for the Grace Driver off the ropes, but Slamovich has it well-scouted and begins headbutting her way free. She takes over and connects with a Super Snow Plow. She rolls through into a pile driver and covers her for the win. We have a new TNA Knockouts Champion after an excellent match.

Nic Nemeth defeated Joe Hendry to retain the TNA World Championship

The pre-match video package for match two in our triple-main event here at TNA Bound For Glory 2024 airs now. Up next is the TNA World Championship showdown between Nic Nemeth and Joe Hendry. The package wraps up and special referee and 2024 Call Your Shot Gauntlet winner Frankie Kazarian emerges.

After the self-proclaimed “King of TNA” settles in the ring with his massive Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy, he awaits the arrival of the challenger and the champion. A special elaborate pre-entrance video package airs with Joe Hendry in a hoodie looking into a bathroom mirror, ala Eminem in “8 Mile.”

It then shows him in Detroit with his back turned in a spot where clearly everyone was hoping to see the dramatic turn to reveal Slim Shady himself. Unfortunately, it was Hendry. Inside the arena, we see someone come out with their back turned holding a chainsaw, ala Eminem in his old Slim Shady wild-man days.

The catchy-ass “I Believe in Joe Hendry” entrance tune hits and we see the dramatic turn to reveal Hendry again. He makes his way to the ring as the fans in Detroit very, very loudly sing along with every word of his catchy-ass entrance tune.

Out as the wrestling equivilant of the 1980s hair metal band movement to Joe Hendry’s early-2000s hip-hop wrestling equivilant-patterned entrance is the reigning and defending TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth. The champ settles in the ring.

The ring announcer handles the long, drawn out, formal pre-match ring introductions for the champion, challenger and special guest referee. Fans actually boo Nemeth quite a bit after going bonkers for Hendry. It’s time for our second of three main events here at TNA Bound For Glory 2024.

Fans in Detroit loudly chant “F**k Ohio! F**k Ohio!” as Nemeth takes his ring jacket off and prepares for battle. Kazarian holds up the TNA World Championship and smiles real big before calling for the bell to officially get this one started. The two go face-to-face in an intense moment. They back up and lock-up.

Nemeth takes the early offensive lead. He hits his machine gun elbows spot. The Jerry Lawler heart attack special. Hendry fights back and hoists Nemeth up for a suplex. He keeps him upside down and walks him to all four corners before suplexing him down. He does his dramatic turn for a big pop.

The crowd is so pro-Hendry that they’re passionately anti-Nemeth by default. Hulk Hogan and The Rock at WrestleMania-type atmosphere, only nowhere near that scale, obviously. As the two continue to exchange offensive momentum, they each end up laid out.

Kazarian begins a double count, but stops and exits the ring. He grabs his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy and teases calling for his title shot now. He turns around and sees Hendry coming at him, however, and Hendry yanks the trophy out of his hands, sets it down and tells Kazarian to get in the ring and do his job.

As soon as Hendry rolls back into the ring, he stands up just in time to be planted into the mat with a FameAsser. Hendry manages to kick out of the follow-up pin attempt. A few more times we see Kazarian abuse his authority.

The next time he teases calling for his title shot on-the-spot, out walks Walker, Texas-JBL-Ranger through the crowd. John Layfield lays out Kazarian with a Clothesline from Hell for a huge pop. He stops and has a word with Hendry. As Hendry goes to turn away, JBL turns him back and nearly be-heads him with a short-arm Clothesline from Hell, Jake Roberts in-his-prime-style.

Ryan Nemeth ends up out there and he too gets turned inside-out by a big clothesline from hell by JBL. JBL walks off. Hendry slowly gets back into the ring, but is immediately hit with a Danger Zone by Nemeth. Nemeth goes for the cover but there is no referee.

One runs down and begins the count, but Hendry kicks out at two. Fans immediately break out into a thunderous “We Believe! We Believe!” chant. Hendry goes for a Standing Ovation, but doesn’t get it. Nemeth hits Danger Zone and makes the cover for the win to retain. Fans react with loud “Bullsh*t!” chants that can be heard over Nemeth’s music.

The Hardys defeated ABC and The System in Full Metal Mayhem to capture the TNA World Tag-Team Championships

The commentators run down some upcoming special event and pay-per-view dates on the TNA Wrestling calendar and then announce matches for their special Halloween episode of TNA iMPACT next Thursday night, October 31.

From there, Hannifan sets the stage for our final match of the evening, The Hardys vs. ABC vs. The System for the TNA World Tag-Team Championships in a Full Metal Mayhem match. To set up the pre-match video package, Hannifan asks, “Are you ready for one more ride into the extreme?”

The “Tag Lines” graphic flashes on the screen with some interesting notes and rules for this special Full Metal Mayhem title tilt. The iconic theme for The Hardys hits and out comes Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy.

The commentators talk about special Hardys art work being featured in, on and around the ring. Clear Jeff Hardy-style art. Exactly what you’d expect. ABC’s theme hits next and out comes Chris Bey and Ace Austin. The System’s Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers come out last.

No long, drawn out formal ring introductions for this one for some reason. Time issues? Regardless, with the special Hardy artwork all over the ring, the match going on last after Hendry-Nemeth, and the style in which the commentators are talking, if they didn’t have North Carolina coming up on the schedule almost immediately, you’d think tonight is it for Matt and Jeff Hardy.

The action gets off in a hurry and almost immediately everyone is outside of the ring and fighting in different spots on the floor. Myers escapes through the barricade and into the crowd. Hardy chases him down and Sabu’s him with a chair launched onto the back of his head. ABC fight past them with Edwards.

Myers is left for dead and The Hardys fight back to the ringside area, beating down Edwards in two-on-one fashion. They lay him on a colorful artwork table and Matt climbs an equally colorful fancy-art ladder. He hits a big leg drop to put him through it. ABC make their way back to the ringside area.

Jeff Hardy brings a painted ladder into the painted ring, which Hannifan has to point out due to the mess of colors blending together for the viewing audience at home. Odd aesthetic choice, but it’s right up The Hardys / Willow in the Whisp alley.

We see some more high spots and then everyone ends up in the ring again. A giant ladder bridge is set up. We see one ladder wedged on each side of a main ladder under the belts in the middle of the ring. The Hardys are taken out of the picture momentarily and then Edwards begins climbing.

Austin slingshots Bey off the bottom rope, LWO-style, to bring Edwards off the ladder with a backwards cutter. Moments later we see another wild ladder spot that leads to everyone being down and out except Edwards. Fans chant “This is Awesome!” as he begins to climb.

Matt Hardy stops him. Another big ladder spot sees Edwards and Matt out of the picture for the time being. Jeff climbs up a massive ladder with Myers laid out across two colorful tables at ringside. He does a swanton onto Myers but only the further table breaks. Jeff came within inches of breaking his neck or worse. Scary stuff.

Back in the ring, Austin is alone and begins climbing the ladder. Alisha Edwards runs out in a neck brace and pushes the ladder over. She then takes the neck brace off. Matt comes in behind her and takes his shirt off. He hits her with a Twist of Fate. Edwards beats Matt down from behind with a kendo stick.

Edwards begins ascending the ladder, only for Matt and Jeff in opposing corners to throw chairs at him, Sabu-style. They then hoist him up for a double power bomb over the ring ropes and through colorful tables down below. They each climb the ladder on opposite sides and pull the titles down for the win. The Hardys are your new TNA World Tag-Team Champions.

TNA Impact live results: Bound for Glory go-home show

Tonight’s edition of TNA Impact will feature all four competitors in the two World title matches signing their contracts at the same time.

The segment will feature World Champion Nic Nemeth and top challenger Joe Hendry and Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace and her top challenger, Masha Slamovich.

WWE NXT’s Wendy Choo will return to TNA as she battles Jody Threat.

Former TNA World Champion Josh Alexander will take on Jonathan Gresham.

In a six-way scramble match with Call Your Shot gauntlet implications, it will be Frankie Kazarian vs. AJ Francis vs. Sami Callihan vs. Laredo Kid vs. Jake Something vs. Jason Hotch. The winner will get the #20 spot in the match while the loser will get #1.

In eight-man action, The System (Moose, Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers & JDC) will take on The Hardys and ABC.

Ash by Elegance will be on hand to reveal a makeover for Heather Reckless.

AJ Francis defeated Frankie Kazarian, Sami Callihan, Laredo Kid, Jake Something and Jason Hotch in a Six-Way “Call Your Shot” Scramble

After the recap package for last week’s show airs, we shoot inside the Impact Zone where Sami Callihan makes his way to the ring, which is filled up with Frankie Kazarian, AJ Francis, Laredo Kid, Jake Something and Jason Hotch.

As soon as the bell sounds, Kid takes out Kazarian and starts with fast-paced offense. Each guy gets a moment in the showcase spotlight, culminating in AJ Francis being the last man left standing in the ring, while everyone else brawls on the floor.

Francis teases a big dive to the floor, but decides against it. Callihan starts to take control of the offense in the ring. He goes for a big dive, but is cut off by Hotch. Slowly but surely, everyone ends up back in the ring.

We start to see a number of near falls, with everyone getting a turn at a two-count along the way. Callihan hits a Cactus Driver ’97 for a close two-count, which Francis breaks up and then steals the cover for the win himself.

With the win, Francis will be the No. 20 spot in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet at TNA Bound For Glory. Kazarian will be No. 1.

Gia Miller Interviews Jonathan Gresham

Backstage, Gia Miller is standing by with Jonathan Gresham. She asks him about the recent change in attitude that Josh Alexander has had ahead of their one-on-one showdown later in the show. Gresham says he can relate to it. He then remembered who the f**k he is. The best technical wrestler in the world.

He’s ready to get back everything he lost. He doesn’t care about Alexander’s problems or attitude. All he cares about is stepping into the ring with another man who has earned the reputation, like he has, of being one of the best wrestlers in the world. Gresham calls this a comeback. We head to a commercial break.

Introducing Heather By Elegance

Mike Santana vignette where he takes us through a tour of the Lower East Side of New York in his childhood neighborhood. He talks about the significance of the area and how big of a role it played in his life and wrestling career.

When that wraps up, we shoot back inside the Impact Zone, which is decked out for the next segment, the unveiling of Heather Reckless Makeover by Elegance by Ash By Elegance and George Iceman. We see some candles on a table, bottles on ice, etc.

Iceman does a long build-up and then introduces whom he refers to as “Heather By Elegance.” Out comes Heather Reckless looking dolled up. Matthew Rehwoldt does an excellent job on commentary talking about being breathless and near-tears at the sight of the new and improved Heather By Elegance.

Heather loses her breath when Iceman shows her a mirror so she can see herself. He wants to celebrate with a glass of champagne. As they clang glasses, the theme for Xia Brookside hits to spoil the party. Out she comes with a microphone in-hand.

Xia warns them that karma has a way of coming back at you. With that said, Brinley Reece attacks from behind. Reece and Brookside dunk Heather and Ash’s faces in the bowls of champagne punch. After this wraps up, the show heads into another commercial break.

Josh Alexander (w/ Sinner & Saint) defeated Jonathan Gresham

When the show returns from the break, Josh Alexander’s theme hits and “The Walking Weapon” comes out accompanied by Sinner & Saint. He settles in the ring and the entrance tune for his opponent hits. “The Octopus” Jonathan Gresham emerges.

The bell sounds and Gresham starts off with a sign of honor. Alexander wants nothing to do with it. The two circle and Alexander backs Gresham into the corner of the ring. The two hit the mat with Alexander looking for a submission, but Gresham avoids it and pops back up.

As Alexander dominates on offense, he stops and tells Sinner & Saint at ringside to keep an eye on what he is doing so they can learn his veteran ways. The show heads into a mid-match commercial break as Gresham begins fighting back into competitive form.

When the show returns, Alexander is doing the old Razor Ramon insult-to-injury foot slap as Gresham tries to get back to his feet. It angers “The Octopus,” as one would expect, and he gets back to his feet and blasts Alexander with some stiff forearms and wild kicks.

Gresham begins focusing his offensive attack on the knee of Alexander. The crowd starts to come to life in the background as he takes over. Gresham knocks Alexander to the floor and follows up with four big dives.

None put him down, so he tries for a fifth. Alexander moves, Gresham pumps the breaks and then hits an incredible moonsault off the ropes in the corner to the floor. At ringside, Gresham beats down Sinner & Saint before rolling back into the ring.

Gresham slips on a slingshot attempt on the ropes, but keeps control of the lead. Alexander fights back and looks for a C4 Spike, but Gresham avoids it. Alexander gets some help in the form of involvement from Sinner & Saint, which leads to him scoring the pin.

Once the match wraps up, Alexander, Sinner & Saint begin a three-on-one attack of Gresham until Alexander’s opponent for Saturday’s TNA Bound For Glory, Steve Maclin, hits the ring. He tries to make the save, but ends up getting blasted with a steel chair by Alexander.

Alexander zip-ties Maclin’s hands behind him as he, Sinner & Saint continue their assault. They zip-tied his hands to the ring ropes and continue hitting a defenseless Maclin. Security tries to run down to intervene.

Alexander, Sinner & Saint kick at them to keep them from entering the ring. Maclin is smiling while locked to the ropes staring at Alexander holding a chair. Sami Callihan and Deaner end up hitting the ring with Ace Steele to finally put an end to the madness. We head to another commercial break.

Wendy Choo (w/ Rosemary) defeated Jody Threat

When the show returns from the break, we see another vignette with Mike Santana in a different part of New York talking about his “dead or in jail” background, while stressing the fact that Moose forgot where he came from. He vows to beat him down at Bound For Glory.

Back inside the Impact Zone, Wendy Choo’s theme hits and out comes the WWE NXT Superstar accompanied by Rosemary for singles action in our next match of the evening. Jody Threat makes her way out alone as the commentators inform us Dani Luna is not here tonight due to personal issues.

After some back-and-forth action, Threat quickly realizes she’s going to need eyes in the back of her head with Rosemary at ringside and no Dani Luna to back her up. We see Choo dominate the majority of the match. Just as Threat took over and seemed to have it won, Rosemary throws Choo’s pillow in the ring. The distraction leads to Choo picking up the win.

The Hardys & ABC defeated The System (w/ Alisha Edwards)

Backstage, we see The System standing by. Alisha Edwards, as always, asks if we want to know something. Moose then responds to the vignettes from Mike Santana addressing him ahead of their Bound For Glory showdown this Saturday. After this wraps up, the show heads into another commercial break.

When the show returns, we see Matthew Rehwoldt and Tom Hannifan on-camera at the commentary desk. They run down the lineup for this Saturday’s Bound For Glory as the official match graphics flash on the screen.

After that wraps up, where Ash & Heather By Elegance vs. Xia Brookside & Brinley Reece is announced for the Countdown to Bound For Glory pre-show at 6:45pm EST., and then The System’s theme hits. Out comes the team of Moose, JDC, Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards, accompanied by Alisha Edwards.

The Hardys and ABC make their respective entrances next. Chris Bey and Moose kick things off for their respective teams. We see some high spots from the ring to the floor before the commentators lead the show into a mid-match commercial break as the action continues in the ring.

When the show returns, Jeff Hardy is being beaten down by JDC. The System keeps Jeff isolated on their side of the ring, and begin utilizing frequent tags to keep a fresh man on him at all times. Alisha Edwards even gets some cheap shots in from ringside.

Matt Hardy finally gets the hot tag and helps his team shift the offensive momentum in their favor. Fans in the Impact Zone come to life in the background with loud “Delete! Delete! Delete!” chants. As Alisha Edwards gets involved again at ringside, pulling down the ropes, The System take control of the offense again.

On that note, the show heads into yet another mid-match commercial break as the match continues. When the show returns from the break, the match is still in progress, and ultimately culminates with ABC and The Hardys getting the win.

After the match, The System attack from behind. Mike Santana comes out with a giant chain to help out, but ends up getting hit by Alisha with a kendo stick. It doesn’t hurt him, but it distracts him as he was closing in on Moose.

Once he turned, Moose attacked him and he ended up just another victim with the rest of ABC and The Hardys. The System stand tall after the prolonged post-match beatdown and then the show heads into another commercial break.

Dual Contract Signing For TNA Bound For Glory 2024

It’s main event (segment) time!

When the show returns, the TNA Director of Authority, Santino Marella, is in the ring. He wastes no time in introducing the participants for the dual contract signing for TNA Bound For Glory 2024. Out first comes the challenger for the TNA Knockouts Championship match, Masha Slamovich.

Slamovich takes a seat at the table where the TNA Knockouts and TNA World Championships are sitting. Santino then introduces Joe Hendry, the challenger for the men’s world title main event at TNA Bound For Glory 2024.

The fans loudly sing along with Hendry’s catchy-ass viral theme song as he settles in. Santino does the wave with the fans in the Impact Zone. After the dramatic turn and subsequent “We believe! We believe!” chants from the crowd, Hendry takes a seat.

Santino then introduces the first champion, the TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace. Out comes “The Juggernaut” to a decent crowd reaction. The TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth is out next and he takes his seat.

Slamovich and Grace speak first. Grace says she’s already said everything that needs to be said. She then talks about tonight being a full circle moment for her. She mentions signing her first contract years ago and then puts her John Hancock on the paperwork for Saturday’s defense.

Hendry talks next and mentions how many have called him a flash in the pan. He talks about being a faceless nobody years ago in the role of a lawyer. He talks about how people now know his name and not only do they know it, they believe in it.

Fans chant “We believe! We believe!” Hendry vows Saturday marks the crowning of a new champion. He signs the dotted line on his contract. Nemeth then takes his turn on the mic and tells Hendry that was a sweet story. He tells Hendry he needs him to focus on only him.

Not the naysayers or those who call him a flash in the pan. He doesn’t want him listening to any of those guys. He wants him focused on the main event at TNA Bound For Glory 2024. Nemeth says he doesn’t plan on losing his title, and then signs his contract.

Santino Marella is happy that everything went down without issue. He tries to wrap things up on that happy note, but of course things weren’t over just yet. Frankie Kazarian’s theme hits and out comes the self-proclaimed “King of TNA,” and special referee for the Hendry-Nemeth title tilt at Bound For Glory.

Kazarian apologizes for breaking up the lovefest and then mentions how the star is here. Kazarian talks about going to a referee academy and getting his referee license. He says he went over Santino’s head and talked to Anthem executives.

He says with them he is respected. He is a God. A king. Kazarian makes a crack at Grace and Slamovich, which prompts them to get offended and stand up. Kazarian plays it off as fans chant “Kick his ass!” Kaz tells Santino to hold his glasses and make himself useful. He calls him a stooge.

Kazarian says at Bound For Glory, his little toy badge doesn’t mean a damn thing, because he’s not the law. Kazarian is. So that brings him to the TNA World Champion and his challenger. He assures them he’ll call things down the middle as a fair impartial referee.

He says one thing is for sure — the right man is going to walk out as the TNA World Champion. Nemeth and Hendry bounce Kazarian’s head off the contract signing table. Grace holds Kazarian’s arms behind him. Hendry points to Santino to handle it. Kazarian spits in Santino’s face while still being held.

Santino slaps on his Cobra sock puppet on his hand and blasts Kazarian. Grace, Slamovich, Nemeth and Hendry all grab a limb and at the same time, the four hoist him up and slam him down through the contract signing tables. Afterwards, Nemeth and Grace grab their respective titles and pose with them in face-offs across from Hendry and Slamovich.

Fans chant “TNA! TNA! TNA!” as Hannifan wraps things up on commentary with one final plug for Saturday night’s TNA Bound For Glory 2024. That’s how this week’s show wraps up.

TNA Impact live results: WWE NXT’s Sol Ruca & Wendy Choo in trios action

The NXTNA relationship continues on tonight’s TNA Impact as Sol Ruca and Wendy Choo will once again be in action.

Ruca will join Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace and Masha Slamovich against Choo, Rosemary and Tasha Steelz.

In a three-way number one contender’s match for the X-Division title, it will be Leon Slater vs. Laredo Kid vs. Jason Hotch. The winner faces reigning champion “Speedball” Mike Bailey next Thursday.

TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth will give his thoughts as his title defense against Joe Hendry at this month’s Bound for Glory looms large.

In a clash of former TNA World Champions and fellow Canadians, Josh Alexander will take on Eric Young.

In a matchup of two teams vying for a Tag Team title shot, former champions ABC will take on Matt & Jeff Hardy.

Mike Santana will also be on the show after his recent street fight with the former Dirty Dango and his ongoing issues with The System.

Jordynne Grace, Sol Ruca & Masha Slamovich defeated Wendy Choo, Rosemary & Tasha Steelz (w/ Alisha Edwards)

We see a shot of the city of Nashville, TN. as Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt welcome us to the show. We shoot inside Skyway Studios and WWE NXT Superstar Wendy Choo and Rosemary make their way out to the ring for opening action. Tasha Steelz comes out next, accompanied by Alisha Edwards.

Masha Slamovich is out first for the opposition. After she settles inside the squared circle, WWE NXT Superstar Sol Ruca makes her way out to a big crowd reaction. Finally, “The Juggernaut” TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace heads to the ring and the first match of this week’s return episode is underway.

Kicking things off for their respective teams are Grace and Choo. Grace hits a side slam off the ropes and splashes onto Choo in the corner. She hits a world’s strongest slam and then a Vader bomb out of the corner for a two-count. The heel trio starts to take over.

Rosemary locks up Ruca in a submission through the ring ropes, but eventually releases the hold and tags in Steelz. Steelz picks up where Rosemary left off, taking it to Ruca, hitting a splash off the middle rope for a two-count. She locks her in a modified camel clutch as fans rally behind the WWE NXT Superstar.

Choo tags in and puts her boots on each side of Ruca’s head for a neck-snap. She slaps a front face-lock on her and squeezes away as a “Let’s go Ruca!” chant breaks out. Ruca fights her way free and crawls for the tag, but Rosemary tags in and she and Choo stop her.

They go for a double suplex, but Ruca floats over into a double-neckbreaker of her own. Rosemary runs into a big boot and back elbow from Ruca in the corner, who follows up with the death-defying Sol-Snatcher for a big crowd pop.

She finally makes the much-needed tag. Slamovich and Steelz come in and Slamovich takes over. Slamovich has it won, but Grace tags in and hits a Juggernaut Driver for the win. Slamovich didn’t seem happy.

Gia Miller Interviews Josh Alexander

Backstage, we see Josh Alexander talking with Sinner & Saint when in comes Gia Miller. Alexander says you can’t get a moments peace anywhere in this place. Miller brings up what Alexander did to Eric Young. He says it sounds more like a statement than a question, and tells her she’s supposed to be a reporter.

He then sends a message to Young ahead of their match tonight. He tells everyone to pull up a chair and watch a masterclass in him wiping the floor with a “TNA legend.” He tells Miller to hit the bricks and resumes his conversation with Sinner & Saint. The show heads into a commercial break.

Nic Nemeth, Joe Hendry & First Class Talk TNA Bound For Glory 2024

When the show returns, we hear the creepy sounds of Nic Nemeth’s theme music. The TNA World Heavyweight Champion heads to the ring with a “Wanted Man” white jacket on and a smile on his face. He talks about being in a good mood because he’s the champ.

Nemeth says we know the main event for TNA Bound For Glory, because Joe Hendry beat Frankie Kazarian to earn his shot at the title. Fans chant “We believe!” and then we hear the epic sounds of Joe Hendry’s viral entrance tune.

Hendry comes out in a sport coat and a giant cheesy smile of his own on his face. He does the full entrance routine, including the wave, and then addresses the “We believe!” movement after talking about Nemeth being a champion everywhere he goes.

Nemeth says it sounds like a lot of people believe in Joe Hendry. He says they do, and Hendry is a good kid. He says he hopes there’s mutual respect. He says even Shawn Michaels believes in Joe Hendry. A small HBK chant starts and quickly dies down.

Hendry says he appreciates the kind words. He says there’s a lot of legends who believe in Joe Hendry, but there’s one who believes in Nemeth. He asks about John Layfield and whether or not the former JBL will get involved in their match. Nemeth cuts him off and says he doesn’t have to worry about that, only the man who steals the show every night for the past 20 years.

He says he doesn’t plan on losing this title anytime soon. As they stare each other down intensely, the theme for First Class hits and out comes AJ Francis and KC Navarro. Francis is confused at them claiming to be the main event of Bound For Glory, because First Class is the main event.

They’re nothing but money, money, money. He says they’re currently reporting live from Trashville, TN. (Think that’n was taken recently.) He brings up the country bumpkins in attendance and claims credit for making Joe Hendry. He says before he showed up he was a C+ player working the pre-show.

Fans chant “We believe!” and Francis responds, “And ya’ll believe BBQ sauce is toothpaste.” He says they didn’t care about Hendry until he began singing songs about him. Mr. T-N-AJ Francis. Hendry says he forgets which ones he’s talking about.

He sings “Can you please get fired!” And “You-are, you-are, banned from diving!” He asks which one was it. Francis says he came out to talk to Nemeth. He says he had respect for him, but the perpetual main event is always First Class. Nemeth teases a tag match right now, if only, he could find someone to be his partner.

Fans chant “We believe!” and then the mighty theme song for TNA’s Director of Authority plays and out comes Santino Marella. “Boys, boys boys …take it E-C!” Santino announces Nemeth and Hendry against clish-clash in the main event. Francis corrects him and says First Class. We head to another commercial break.

Ash By Elegance Gives Heather Reckless A Makeover

We return from the break to the back of Heather Reckless’ head in a chair in Ash by Elegance’s dressing room. She and George Iceman, and some other makeup people off-camera, go step-by-step insulting Heather’s looks and dress style while talking about ideas for ways to change her and make her over.

Josh Alexander defeated Eric Young

Back inside the Impact Zone, Josh Alexander’s theme hits and “The Walking Weapon” emerges alongside Sinner & Saint, collectively known now as The Northern Armory. They head to the back as Alexander heads to the ring. Eric Young’s cool entrance goes down next and it’s time for our next match of the evening.

Young gets off to a hot start. The action spills to the floor where Young chops the hell out of Alexander. As the action resumes in the ring, Alexander starts to take over. As he does, we head into a mid-match break. When we return, the commentators inform us it has been all Alexander in control of the action.

As the match continues, Young starts to slowly fight his way back into competitive form, until Sinner & Saint hit the ring, which leads to Alexander picking up the win. After the match, Alexander, Sinner & Saint all attack Young. They put his leg in a steel chair and crunch it with a top rope stomp. They leave Young laying as fans boo and Hannifan says, “That’s the REAL Walking Weapon.”

Jordynne Grace Looks For Masha Slamovich, Finds Something Else

Backstage, we see Jordynne Grace cleaned up, showered, and hair braided, looking for Masha Slamovich in various rooms. Gia Miller walks up and Jordynne asks if she’s seen her. They check another room and it looks like a dark room. Dark red lighting and tons of pictures all over the wall like a psycho stalker. Grace sees this and says, “Oh my god.” She walks off and we head to another commercial break.

Mike Santana Calls Out Moose

When the show returns, Mike Santana makes his way to the ring through the crowd. He gets on the mic and says this is the second time he’s talked to a camera to send a message to Moose. He tells him to prove he’s the man he says he is and come out here.

Moose’s theme hits and out he comes. He talks about buying the best security money can buy. He says Santana thinks he’s a tough guy because he comes from the streets. He says he’s just a dumb ass. Santana points out Moose’s security and says all it does is prove he’s nothing more than a “baby-boy-b*tch!” You can guess what chant followed.

Santana says he can smell the fear from all the way up in the ring. He says at one point in life, Moose was his. He says they’ve lived through the same struggles. They both had to create something from nothing. The only difference is, Santana still walks the same blocks he put in work on.

He walks side-by-side with the same people he came up with. He dares Moose to step through his top-flight security and prove he is the face of the franchise. Moose questions Santana’s claims that he forgot where he came from. He says he did forget where he came from, because he’s made himself a three-time champion. He did it by himself. Without any fans or anyone else. Just by trusting The System.

He says he can come down there and beat the hell out of him, like he’s done in the past. He says he’s learned when you’re good at doing something, you never do it for free. He says he’s a prize fighter and a box office attraction. He says the difference between them is he’s the face of the franchise, whereas Santana is nothing but a poor Puerto Rican kid from the projects.

Santana tries to rush him, but stops short when he sees all the security. The rest of The System attack him from behind. They have traded their U.S.A. colors for dark gray attire. Moose joins them in the ring as they continue to stomp out Santana. ABC’s theme hits and the duo of Chris Bey and Ace Austin hit the ring and brawl with The System.

Moose’s security hits the ring, and then The Hardys iconic entrance tune plays. Matt and Jeff Hardy hit the ring and fight off the security and help with The System brawl. The theme for TNA’s Director of Authority hits and out once again comes Santino Marella. Santino says it will be Moose vs. Mike Santana at Bound For Glory.

The Hardys (Jeff & Matt Hardy) and ABC (Chris Bey & Ace Austin) fight to a No Contest after The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) interferes

Santino also tells Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards of The System to keep an eye on The Hardys vs. ABC because it may have title implications for TNA Bound For Glory. He asks the crowd if they want to see The Hardys vs. ABC now. It’s coming up next. We head to a pre-match commercial break.

When we return, we see the action in progress. The Hardys take the early offensive lead, but Bey eventually fights his way back into competitive form. He hits a big splash and missile dropkick off the ropes to Jeff Hardy for a close two-count.

Matt tags in and things get competitive briefly before the two collide head-first. Both guys are down and each make the tag to their respective partner. Jeff Hardy is the one who comes in hot, hitting Austin with everything in his arsenal, including the split-leg-drop and seated dropkick.

The Hardys hit the Plot-Twist on Bey, which is a Twist of Fate and neck-breaker combo. The System hit the ring afterwards and attack, giving the referee no choice but to call for the bell.

Santino comes out and says despite their efforts, by the power “invested in him,” Edwards and Myers will face The Hardys and ABC in a Full Metal Mayhem match for the tag titles at Bound For Glory. After the match, we head to another commercial break.

Leon Slater defeated Laredo Kid and Jason Hotch (w/ John Skyler) to earn a shot at the TNA X-Division Championship

When the show returns, Laredo Kid makes his way to the ring for an X-Division Championship No. 1 Contender Three-Way bout. He settles in the ring and then Jason Hotch comes out with John Skyler cutting a promo as they walk to the ring. Leon Slater comes out last.

On special guest commentary for this one is the reigning TNA X-Division Champion and the man the winner of this match will face in a title tilt on next week’s show, “Speedball” Mike Bailey. As soon as the bell sounds, Laredo, Hotch and Slater are all over the place.

Laredo Kid hits a big splash to the floor for a big “TNA! TNA!” chant. Back in the ring, he hits a top-rope frog-splash on Slater for a close two-count. Hotch hits the ring and comes off the ropes with a leaping double stomp onto Slater and Kid for a two-count on each.

Slater fights into the lead and hits a wild 450 senton off the ropes and covers Hotch for the win. With the win, Slater earns a shot at Bailey’s X-Division title next Thursday night. The commentators hype the match and thank Bailey for joining them on the call. We head to another break before our main event.

Jordynne Grace’s Challenge Accepted By Masha Slamovich

When the show returns, as the commentators are setting the stage for our tag-team main event, they are caught off-guard by Jordynne Grace’s theme song. The TNA Knockouts Champion gets on the mic and says she can’t find Masha Slamovich backstage. She asks her to come here for one second.

Masha’s theme hits and out she comes. Grace brings up seeing Masha’s “Kill Wall” going back up and how she saw her face in a picture on it. Slamovich says Grace knew she had to keep her close. She says she was the only one who knew she spoke English. She says she kept it to herself so she could be the center of attention.

Slamovich accepts her challenge and says she’s going to become the Knockouts Champion at Bound For Glory and teach Grace what it’s like to live in her shadow. Masha hands her an envelope and walks off. Grace pulls out her picture which is marked. We head to another break.

Nic Nemeth & Joe Hendry defeated First Class (AJ Francis & KC Navarro)

It’s main event time!

When we return, we see the First Class duo of AJ Francis and KC Navarro already in the ring, in the middle of cutting a promo talking trash about Nashville. Joe Hendry’s theme hits to cut them off and out he comes to a monster crowd reaction for the second time this evening.

Hendry gets on the mic and starts cutting a pre-match promo, but before he can say anything, Francis and Navarro attack him. After we hear the necessary unzipping that precedes the arrival of the champion every week, Nic Nemeth hits the ring to make the save.

We head to a pre-match commercial break. When we return, we see the match already in progress, with Nemeth working over Navarro from the start. Francis grabs Nemeth’s hair and Navarro hits him with a Sling Blade to shift the momentum in the favor of First Class.

Francis tags in and picks up where Navarro left off, taking it to the TNA Champion. We see Francis dominate the action for a few minutes until finally Nemeth gets in some offense, which buys him enough time to make the much-needed tag to Hendry.

Hendry hits the ring to a ton of fan support, as loud “We believe!” chants break out. Hendry hoists Francis up, after struggling briefly, and Donkey Kong’s him onto the mat. Hendry hits Nemeth’s own Danger Zone move on Francis and tags in Nemeth. Nemeth hits a super kick but then Navarro makes a blind tag that he doesn’t see.

Navarro hits a missile dropkick on Nemeth. He goes for the Blessing in Disguise, but Nemeth counters with a super kick. TNA Impact live results: Joe Hendry vs. Frankie Kazarian number one contender’s match

The next challenger for TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth will be determined on tonight’s episode of TNA Impact as Joe Hendry will take on Frankie Kazarian.

The winner will face Nemeth in the main event of October’s Bound for Glory. Both men are in search of their first-ever TNA World title run.

After losing to Hendry at Victory Road, former champion Josh Alexander will be on hand to share his thoughts on what’s next.

Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace and a mystery partner from WWE NXT will take on Rosemary and NXT’s Wendy Choo. Grace recently defended her title against Choo while Rosemary has appeared on NXT TV.

Former WWE wrestler Lei Ying Lee (Xia Li) will make her promotional debut.

KUSHIDA joins forces with Kevin Knight and X-Division Champion “Speedball” Mike Bailey against Chris Bey, Ace Austin and former champion Zachary Wentz; Xia Brookside goes one-on-one with Heather Reckless; and Jonathan Gresham battles Laredo Kid.

Jordynne Grace & Sol Ruca defeated Rosemary & Wendy Choo via Disqualification

Wendy Choo makes her way out first to kick things off on this week’s show. She stops and is joined by Rosemary, and the two head to the ring for our first match of the evening. Jordynne Grace comes out next and then Arianna Grace comes out.

“The Liaison” announces Sol Ruca as Grace’s mystery partner from WWE NXT. Ruca gets a decent reaction coming out, and as soon as she and Grace enter the ring, Rosemary and Choo attack. The four brawl before the match even officially starts.

Ruca hits a wild moonsault to the floor, which is followed up by “The Juggernaut” diving through the ropes for a ring-to-floor splash of her own. In the ring, the bell finally sounds and it is Ruca and Rosemary kicking things off for their respective teams.

Rosemary does a good job establishing the early offensive lead, and then tags in Choo. Choo picks up where Rosemary left off, taking it to Ruca and keeping the high-flyer grounded. The two continue to utilize frequent tags while keeping Ruca on their side of the ring and far away from the much-needed tag.

Ruca finally takes over and hits her always-fun-to-watch Sol-Snatcher. Grace goes for a Juggernaut Driver to follow up, but before they can pick up the win, Tasha Steelz attacks the TNA Knockouts Champion. Masha Slamovich runs out to chase her off and make the save.

Gia Miller Interviews Frankie Kazarian

Backstage, Gia Miller talks with Frankie Kazarian, who asks if she is down with the king. He tells her the answer for her, which is ‘yes.’ He asks if she is a believer of Joe Hendry. Again, he tells her the answer for her, which is ‘no.’

He vows to beat Hendry tonight and go on to prove he is “The King of TNA” by beating Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship at TNA Bound For Glory. “Every head must bow, and every tongue must confess, I am ‘The King of TNA.'” We head to a commercial break.

Jonathan Gresham defeated Laredo Kid

When the show returns, Laredo Kid’s theme hits and the masked man makes his return to the Impact Zone for our second match of the evening. He settles inside the squared circle and then his opponent, “The Octopus” Jonathan Gresham makes his way out.

The bell sounds to get things started, and Kid gets off to a fast start with some crowd-pleasing high flying offense. He hits a big high spot from the ring to the floor that pops the crowd in the Impact Zone. Back inside the ring, Gresham locks Kid in a submission.

Kid struggled for a good minute or so before ultimately making it to the ropes to force the hold to be broken. Upon getting up, Kid started connecting with a wide variety of kicks, before hitting a cross-body splash off the middle rope.

Kid hits a suplex and holds on. He hits a second one and then finishes with a brainbuster to complete the Three Amigos homage to the late, great, Eddie Guerrero. Gresham takes back over and hits a moonsault, before going back to work on the knees of Kid. He repeatedly smashes Kid’s knee into the mat over-and-over again until Kid tapped out. That’s like tapping to strikes in MMA. Rare.

Mike Santana Starts A Brawl In The System Locker Room

Backstage, Mike Santana is shown with a chain in-hand. “They don’t seem to get it, but they will now …” he says, before busting into The System’s locker room. The door shuts and the camera shot remains on the door as we hear banging and sounds of pain from the other end of the door. We then head to another commercial break.

Zachary Wentz & ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) defeated Leon Slater, KUSHIDA & “Speedball” Mike Bailey

When the show returns from commercials, Zachary Wentz makes his way to the ring for scheduled six-man tag-team action. His partners, the ABC duo of Ace Austin and Chris Bey are out next. Their opponents, Leon Slater, KUSHIDA and TNA X-Division Champion “Speedball” Mike Bailey make separate entrances next.

The bell sounds and former X-Division Champion Wentz kicks things off against current title-holder Bailey, as a flashback to the title bout from the recent TNA Victory Road 2024 special event, which saw Bailey recapture the title.

The two only mix it up for a few seconds before all six men hit the ring and end up in a big stand-off. On that note, the show heads right back into another commercial break as the match continues.

As we settle back in from the break, we see Wentz and Slater mixing it up. Slater blasts Wentz with a roundhouse kick that knocks him into his own corner. Austin tags in, but so does KUSHIDA. It is KUSHIDA who takes the hot tag and begins shifting the offensive momentum into his team’s favor.

Everyone ends up in the ring for a ton of high spots, including an amazing one from Slater, who clears the ring post with a running leap to the floor with a senton splash. Back in the ring, he goes for the 450 off the top, but nobody was home. Wentz hits a UFO Cutter for the win.

Deaner Accepts Challenge From Hammerstone

Backstage, we see Hammerstone coaching Jake Something through a workout, when in comes Deaner. He wants to talk to Something, but Hammerstone interject and down-talks him. Hammerstone ends up challenging Deaner to a fight.

Deaner says there’s two things he’ll never walk away from. He looks at Something and says family, and then Hammerstone and says a fight. He accepts the challenge and walks off. The show heads into another commercial break.

Lei Ying Lee defeated Hyan

When the show returns, Mike Santana is shown in a vignette filmed immediately after his Texas Death Match with JDC from last week.

He is still covered in blood and has his chain wrapped around him, but talks with a smile and a giggle in his voice as he talks about The System being forced to deal with him in his “playground.” He vows to make them feel his pain and agony.

Back inside the Impact Zone, the theme for newcomer Lei Ying Lee hits. Out comes the former WWE Superstar known as Xia Li, following weeks of vignettes promoting her arrival. She settles in the ring for her debut. Already in the ring is her opponent, Hyan.

Lee goes on an offensive spree to start things off, mixing in a number of kicks and strikes. She yells “come on!” as she continues to take it to Hyan. Hyan gets a brief moment and gets a bit cocky, shoving Lee. Lee goes back to work on her, climbing up high on Hyan and striking down on her skull.

She hoists Hyan up in a torture rack position and airplane spins her before slamming her down. Fans chant “We want tables!” Instead they get Lee’s “Thunderstruck” roundhouse kick finisher. Lee picks up an easy win in her Impact debut.

Josh Alexander, Sinner & Saint Attack Eric Young & Steve Maclin

After the match, we see Leon Slater looking bummed out backstage. In walks TNA X-Division Champion “Speedball” Mike Bailey. Slater apologizes for letting their team down. Bailey tells him not to, and reminds him he’s in the most competitive division in the business. He tells him he has a future in the X-Division.

When the show returns, ABC duo Ace Austin and Chris Bey are shown in a heavily post-produced promo segment where they mourn the loss of their TNA Tag-Team Championships. They also talk about their champions clause rematch against The System.

In comes The Hardys duo of Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy. Matt makes a case for The Hardys getting a shot as well. He says whether it’s ABC or The System, be aware that The Hardys are coming and nothing is going to stop this train. Jeff does the “choo choo” train sound.

Back inside the Impact Zone, the theme for “The Walking Weapon” hits and out comes Josh Alexander. He heads to the ring as Tom Hannifan points out on commentary that he asked for this time. He settles in the ring and soaks in the atmosphere before speaking.

Fans immediately get on his case with loud “You tapped out!” chants, referencing his loss to Joe Hendry at TNA Victory Road 2024. He talks about believing in Joe Hendry like they do after sharing the ring with him. He admits he was going down the wrong path and a good friend gave him some good advice.

He asks Eric Young to come out. Young comes out. Young helps the fans come around and chant for Alexander. A “Walking Weapon” chant spreads and Young calls Alexander the lifeblood of TNA if he is the heartbeat. The mutual admiration session wraps up and they go to leave.

Young tries to hold the ropes for Alexander. Alexander smiles and waves him off. Alexander goes to hold the ropes for Young. Young smiles and obliges, but as he goes to step through the ropes, Alexander snatches him up and dumps him on his dome with a German suplex.

The crowd boos as Alexander gets back on the mic and takes issue with Young’s previous comments. He continues to attack him, and then Steve Maclin runs out to make the save. This brings out Sinner & Saint, and the full plan is unveiled.

We learn that Alexander wasn’t giving veteran advice to them like Young suggested he do as the locker room leader he should be last week. Instead, they were apparently plotting this attack. Alexander hits a C4 Spike. The three stand tall as the show heads into another commercial break.

Monster’s Ball Match Added To TNA Bound For Glory 2024

Backstage, Matt Cardona learns he has a Monster’s Ball match with PCO at TNA Bound For Glory 2024. The announcement was made directly to him by Santino Marella and Steph De Lander. Cardona wasn’t happy.

Heather Reckless defeated Xia Brookside

Back inside the Impact Zone, newcomer Heather Reckless heads to the ring for our next match of the evening in the TNA Knockouts division. Her opponent, Xia Brookside, makes her way out with a cowboy hat on.

A little slap from Reckless gets things started. Brookside slams her down and does a little “Texas Two Step” dance as she stands over her. Reckless charges at Brookside in the corner, but Brookside hops on the middle rope and bops her on the top of her head with her heel.

As the action continues, we see Ash By Elegance and George Iceman appear on the entrance ramp. They make their way down to ringside to a ton of crowd heat from the San Antonio fans. We then see the action spill out to the floor, where Brookside yanks some of the extensions out of Reckless’ hair.

The action resumes in the ring, where Iceman is loudly yelling “You suck, Brookside!” The distraction leads to Reckless taking back over on offense, and in the end, Reckless heads to the top-rope and leaps off, connecting with Rarified Air for the pinfall victory.

The show heads to another commercial break. When we return, Ash By Elegance is backstage complaining about her feet hurting when in comes Reckless. She gloats about doing Rarified Air, but Iceman and Ash aren’t impressed. They do agree she has “something” but claim she needs elegance. They have some ideas.

Joe Hendry defeated Frankie Kazarian to earn TNA World Title shot against Nic Nemeth at TNA Bound For Glory 2024

It’s main event time!

Back inside the Impact Zone, the theme for TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth hits and out he comes to join Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on special guest commentary for our main event of the evening.

This week’s main event is a TNA World Championship No. 1 Contender’s match, with Joe Hendry squaring off against Frankie Kazarian. The winner will move on to challenge Nemeth for the TNA title at TNA Bound For Glory 2024 on October 26 in Detroit, Michigan.

Hendry’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring to a big reaction from the San Antonio crowd. Nemeth sings his praises as someone who definitely has something special. His catchy-ass entrance tune wraps up, he does the dramatic head turn and smile.

Fans chant “We Believe! We Believe!” and then the theme for his opponent hits. Out comes the self-proclaimed “King of TNA” Frankie Kazarian. He heads to the ring to a ton of boos. He goes to demand his “King of TNA” introduction. Hendry stops the ring announcer and takes the mic.

He tells Kazarian not to worry and ensures him he will give him an introduction worthy of a title contender. He introduces him as the winner of the Antonio Banderas look-alike contest. He is the Dad from Spy Kids. He is Puss in Boots. Fans chant “Puss in Boots! Puss in Boots!” Before he can finish his sarcastic intro, Kazarian attacks him and things start off with a bang between these two.

Hendry immediately starts fighting back, however, and upon taking over, Hannifan talks us into a mid-match commercial break as the match continues.When the show returns, we see Kazarian is in a comfortable offensive lead. So much so that he exits the ring and grabs a mic. He rolls back into the ring and asks the fans if they still believe in Joe Hendry.

Fans loudly chant “We believe! We believe!”As Kazarian continues to verbally taunt his fallen foe, Hendry recovers and attacks Kazarian. Hendry begins taking back over control of the offense as the San Antonio crowd comes to life. Hendry looks for the Standing Ovation, but doesn’t get it.

Kazarian starts to shift the momentum back in his favor, but not for long, as a “Puss in Boots!” chant from the fans in the Impact Zone leads to another Hendry comeback. This time, Hendry locks Kazarian in an ankle lock that looked close. Ultimately, however, Kazarian made it to the ropes.Again we see Kazarian fight back, as he hits a big slingshot DDT.

Hendry takes over again and launches Kazarian out to the floor. Hendry heads out after him. He hoists Kazarian up and holds him for a stalled suplex on the floor. Kazarian reaches into his bag and slides a set of brass knuckles onto his hand while the referee is dealing with Hendry in the ring. Hendry leans through the ropes to grab Kazarian, and Kazarian blasts Hendry with the brass knuckles.

He knocks him out and quickly rolls into the ring and covers him for the win. Kazarian is announced as the winner and his music plays, however as he is celebrating, Nic Nemeth stands up from his chair at the commentary desk. He grabs the brass knuckles that Kazarian used and shows them to the referee. He explains what happened and the referee restarts the match.

Kazarian gets the offensive jump on Hendry again, but again gets a bit too cocky. As he stops and wastes time taunting Hendry and the crowd in the Impact Zone, Hendry ends up recovering and taking over. He hits his Standing Ovation and scores the pinfall victory.

With the win, it will be Joe Hendry challenging Nic Nemeth for the world title at TNA Bound For Glory 2024. That’s how this week’s show goes off the air. Thanks for joining us, and don’t forget to follow me on Twitter/X.

TNA Victory Road live results: Nic Nemeth vs. Moose

TNA Wrestling returns with their second streaming special in two weeks with tonight’s Victory Road from San Antonio, Texas.

The TNA World title will be on the line as Nic Nemeth defends against former champion Moose.

Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace takes on WWE NXT’s Wendy Choo who will be making her promotional in-ring debut.

In a high-profile clash, former World Champion Josh Alexander will battle Joe Hendry.

After winning the title at Emergence, X-Division Champion Zachary Wentz defends against former champion “Speedball” Mike Bailey.

Tag Team Champions ABC will defend against former champions Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers.

In a change, Masha Slamovich & Tasha Steelz will defend the Knockouts Tag Team titles against Spitfire (Dani Luna & Jody Threat). If the former champions lose, they must split up. Steelz is a last-minute sub for Alisha Edwards who recently was legitimately knocked out during a match.

Jeff & Matt Hardy will take on AJ Francis & KC Navarro while Rhino & Digital Media Champion PCO face Matt Cardona & Steph De Lander.

Hammerstone & Jake Something vs. Eric Young & Steve Maclin and KUSHIDA vs. Leon Slater is set for the pre-show.

KUSHIDA defeated Leon Slater

We settle inside the sold out San Antonio venue with Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt welcoming us to the show. Leon Slater’s theme hits and he comes to the ring for the first match of the Countdown pre-show. KUSHIDA is out next, and the bell sounds to get this one started.

Both guys start strong, trading shots, but it is KUSHIDA who gets Slater down and controls him for the first definitive offensive lead. He gets him on his knees as he rolls to his back for a submission attempt, but Slater escapes. The two have a stare off and the fans cheer.

Following another exchange, Slater drops KUSHIDA with an enzugiri, and then hits a hand-spring back-elbow to KUSHIDA in mid-air. He goes for a springboard splash to the floor, but KUSHIDA rolls back into the ring, so he pumps the brakes.

KUSHIDA hits a big kick in the corner that sends Slater out to the floor to regroup. KUSHIDA plays to the crowd, who chants his name as climbs to the top and flips off with a senton onto Slater on the floor. Back in the ring, KUSHIDA slaps a leg submission on Slater, who eventually gets to the ropes to force it to be broken.

KUSHIDA also focuses on the arm of Slater, and the commentators talk about him softening him up for the Hoover Board Lock later on. On the mat, KUSHIDA continues to crank on the arm in the directions it wasn’t intended to bend. Slater fights back and hits a huge dropkick in the corner for a two-count.

Slater takes over for a minute or so, and hits a beautiful high spot from the ring to the floor that saw him land on his feet upon connection. Back in the ring, KUSHIDA hits a Spanish Fly into an armbar upon landing. Demetrious Johnson mouse-trap, style. He gets the tap for the win.

Hammerstone & Jake Something defeated Eric Young & Steve Maclin

Josh Alexander gives a brief backstage interview after the pre-show opener. He talks about Joe Hendry being in his world when the bell sounds tonight. He says after he beats him, he can go back to his keyboard and write and make funny videos.

A video package promoting Nic Nemeth vs. Moose for the TNA Championship in the main event later in the evening airs, and then we return inside the Impact Zone where Jake Something and Hammerstone make their way to the ring for the second pre-show match.

All four collide and brawl before the bell. Young and Maclin unload on them in opposing corners, but when they go to whip them into each other in the middle of the ring, they bounce into each other and look up and down before turning and beating down Young and Maclin.

As Young and Something powder out to the floor, the bell sounds and Hammerstone and Maclin kick things off as the legal men in the ring. Hammerstone works over Maclin and in comes Something to give an assist, as Young looks upset. On the floor, Something takes out Maclin and rolls back in as the legal man.

Fans chant “Eric Young! Eric Young!” hoping for the tag. Something punches Maclin a few more times and stops to pose and taunt the crowd, who then fire up a “We want Eric!” chant. Young is pacing on the apron like Hulk Hogan in his 80s prime, playing to the crowd and stealing the scene in the background.

Young eventually gets the hot tag a few moments later and plays to the crowd while firing up and taking it to both Hammerstone and Maclin in the ring. He hits a pile driver for a close two-count, but this one continues. A blind tag from the heel duo leads to Young on the defense.

Hammerstone climbs to the top with Young, but Young knocks him down into the tree of woe and tags in Maclin. Maclin hits a running spear to the upside-down Hammerstone. Young tags in and hits a top-rope elbow drop. He goes for the cover, but Something breaks it up. Nice false-finish there.

Something hits a big spinebuster and then heads back to the apron so Hammerstone can tag him in. Hammerstone gets Maclin in the torture rack, but Young drops Something and hits Hammerstone to free Maclin. He runs into an Into the Void from Something. Something gets the three count and the win.

The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) defeated First Class (AJ Francis & KC Navarro)

The pre-show wraps up, the cold open for the main show airs and then we shoot inside the Impact Zone again. The iconic theme for The Hardys hits and out comes Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy for scheduled tag-team action. The crowd is explosively loud for these two legends. “DELETE!” and “Hardy!” chants can easily be heard over their theme. Hannifan talks about how electric it is in the sold out building.

We hear the hip-hop sounds of the First Class entrance tune, and out comes AJ Francis and KC Navarro to a ton of boos from the San Antonio crowd. Navarro has v1 on his wrist tape to mock the old Matt Hardy v1. Navarro is apparently “The Blessed One” tonight. Guess he’s never heard of Max Holloway? The best is blessed, baby. It is what it is.

After the bell, Jeff and Navarro kick things off for their respective teams. Hardy does his limp-wrist hand-flick (good description, right?) gesture to play to the crowd chants. A loud “F**k First Class!” chant spreads like wildfire as Navarro disrespects Hardy by doing his limp-wrist hand-flick with his back turned to him. Hardy drops him and does it back. See, that description already paid off!

Hannifan touts the highest ticket sales for any TNA event in the U.S. in 2024 tonight. Hardy makes the tag and hits Poetry in Motion before Matt picks up where he left off, taking it to one-half of First Class. Loud “DELETE!” chants break out as Hardy works over Navarro’s arm. Hardy yells “HUH?!” off the middle rope and hits a Greg Valentine-style elbow on the back of Navarro’s head.

Matt sends Navarro out to the floor, but Francis catches him like a parent cradling a baby. Hardy dives through the ropes with a kick to knock them both down. Back in the ring, Navarro hits a cool kick with Hardy in the ropes. This helps First Class take over on offense. He tags in Francis, and the crowd boos grows as the big man takes over.

Francis hits a big spot from the ring to the floor and yells “Woo-Hah!” in the camera. You know, because he’s got Hardy “all in checks,” Busta Rhymes-style. Back in the ring, he leaps off the ropes and lands directly on his ass after Hardy rolls away. Ouch. Both guys tag out.

Jeff comes in and hits a falcon arrow to Navarro for a two-count. He hits an atomic drop and then the leg-drop through the legs to the no-no-zone. He goes for another cover, but again only gets two. Francis comes back in and hits a World’s Strongest Slam.

He goes for Matt’s middle rope leg drop, but Matt cuts him off. He and Jeff both go up after him and hit a double suplex off the ropes. Ouch again. Francis recovers and fights back with a double Down Payment attempt, but The Hardys low blow their way out. They hit a Twist of Fate. Matt hits another and then Jeff takes the shirt off for a top-rope swanton for the win.

“Speedball” Mike Bailey defeated Zachary Wentz to capture the TNA X-Division Champion

After the commentators run down the lineup for tonight, we hear the familiar sounds of “Speedball” Mike Bailey’s theme and out comes the modern day Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat for our first title bout of the evening. Zachary Wentz of the Rascalz, the reigning TNA X-Division Champion, comes out next.

The commentators promote Wentz vs. Wes Lee in a Chicago Street Fight on the WWE NXT on CW premiere on October 1. The bell sounds and Bailey gets behind Wentz, snaps him down and goes for the cover. Wentz kicks out and pops up annoyed.

They reengage and Bailey continues to sweep him down to the mat with ease, and continues to add to his early frustration. Wentz loses his cool and puts his hands behind his back and encourages Bailey to hit him. Bailey gets frozen up by this and Wentz gets him down and unloads on him.

Wentz super-kicks Bailey out to the floor and hits a dive through the ropes, splashing on him at ringside and ground-and-pounding him upon landing. He rolls him back in the ring and begins focusing his offensive attack on the arm of Bailey.

Bailey fights back and hits an excellent moonsault. He continues to work Wentz over as fans break out in a loud “This is Awesome!” chant. Bailey grapevines the leg of Wentz and drops back into a leg lock, wrenching away on the lower limb of the champ. He eventually escapes.

Wentz fires up again and puts his hands behind his back again. Bailey measures up to hit him with a free shot this time, open-handed, power-slap-style. He ends up deciding against it and puts his hands behind his own back and dares Wentz to do the same. They both snap and start Fyre-Takayama’ing each other, only with slaps instead of turning themselves into the Sloth monster from the Goonies with punches.

On the floor, Wentz hits a BFT to Bailey on the entrance ramp. Bailey just barely makes it back into the ring, and when he does slide in at 9, Wentz immediately hits a double stomp. He hits a cutter off the ropes for a super close two-count. Wentz hits a step-up knee to the grill in the corner. Bailey fights back and hits a running power bomb out of the corner.

He climbs to the top and hits an insanely impressive shooting star press for a beautiful near-fall attempt. The crowd bought into it big, too. Bailey hits a big kick and then a roundhouse tornado kick in the corner. Wentz fights back and rolls up Bailey for a two-count. Wentz hits an insane flipping DDT. Wentz hits some more BFTs for another crazy-close two-count.

Wentz loses his cool and snaps again. He super kicks Bailey and goes for the UFO Cutter, but Bailey counters. Bailey hits a Flamingo Driver on Wentz out of the corner for the win. We have a new TNA X-Division Champion. This is Mike Bailey’s third reign.

Steph De Lander Needs Neck Surgery

A backstage promo from The System is shown to explain Tasha Steelz as the replacement for Alisha Edwards. It also gives Moose an excuse to call Nic Nemeth a “blond b*tch,” and for another dozen System Reboot references.

Back inside the Impact Zone, Rhino makes his way to the ring. After him, “The French-Canadian Frankenstein” PCO emerges and heads to the ring. Matt Cardona comes out with Steph De Lander wearing a “Property of Matt Cardona” t-shirt. He bosses her around as they settle in the ring.

De Lander gets on the mic and tells PCO to trust her. She talks about how he and Cardona need to sort their issues. She eventually mentions how she needs neck surgery. The fans start giving her the “What?” treatment as she tries cutting a serious promo. She says she’s in pain every day…”What?” Ouch.

She turns her attention to Cardona and says while she’s surely not his property, she can’t forget all the moments they did have and all that he did do for her. She turns to PCO and says she didn’t think she would find true love in TNA, but she is so glad she has.

She says she needs them all to be men, stand up and figure this out without her. She says this isn’t a retirement speech. She has more to give to this business and this company. “This is not goodbye, this is I’ll see you later.” I think that one was taken, Steph. She thanks the fans and says she’ll see us later.

She hugs PCO and kisses him. She heads to exit the ring as Rhino holds the ropes for her. PCO walks her to the back. Cardona is shown clapping in the ring, until Rhino goes to exit. When he tries to, Cardona kicks the ropes and low-blows Rhino. He hits his Radio Silence finisher on him and leaves him laying.

Spitfire defeated Masha Slamovich & Tasha Steelz to capture the TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Championships

The Spitfire duo of Jody Threat and Dani Luna come to the ring after a quick backstage interview with Nic Nemeth about tonight’s main event. They settle in the ring for this match, where if they lose, they must break up their team.

Out next is the late replacement for Alisha Edwards, Tasha Steelz, who fills in for The System member alongside Masha Slamovich for the defense of the TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Championships. The bell sounds and off we go.

Luna and Steelz kick things off for their respective teams. Luna out-powers Steelz, shoving her down to her butt off a lock-up. Masha tags in and hits a brainbuster on Threat, who tags in for her team. Alisha Edwards is overheard yelling in the Slamovich-Steelz corner on the floor.

Threat ends up isolated in the ring for several minutes, with Steelz and Slamovich utilizing frequent tags to keep a fresh person on her at all times. Eventually, Luna gets the much-needed tag from Threat. She takes the hot tag and gets the crowd on their feet with a high-impact offensive comeback.

Spitfire hit the ring together and start hitting big double-team spots. They hit their double-team finishing move and score the pinfall victory for the win. With the win, not only do they not have to break up, but they are now the new TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champions.

A team that did break up, however, is The Malisha. After the match, Alisha Edwards gets in Masha Slamovich’s face and scolds her for losing their titles. She calls her a loser and slaps her. Masha gets ready to fight back, but is attacked from behind by Steelz, who lays her out and poses with Edwards.

Joe Hendry defeated Josh Alexander

It’s time to get into the thick-of-things for tonight, as we move on to our next match of the evening. “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander heads to the ring, looking as Kurt Angle from Wish as ever. He settles in the ring to a bunch of boos.

The sold out San Antonio crowd gets rocking from there, as the super catchy-ass entrance tune for Joe Hendry hits to bring out one of the more charismatic stars in the business today, and certainly the hottest star in TNA right now.

Hendry settles in the ring and cuts his usual pre-match promo full of catchphrases. The bell sounds and Alexander smiles and points to the mat, telling Hendry like he said earlier tonight, once the bell rings you’re in my world.

The two get after it and Alexander starts off well, but then the crowd rallies behind Hendry and he hits one of his key five moves of doom, the stalling suplex. Fans chant “Walking Weiner” in San Antonio, proving they’re real TNA fans who watch Impact every week, and not just there because it’s something in town to do on a Friday night.

Alexander takes over and hits a big spot to Hendry on the floor, which shifts the offensive momentum in his favor. He sends Hendry back-first into the ring apron and then verbally taunts Hendry before rolling him back into the ring.

Fans try and rally behind their guy again, singing “I Believe in Joe Hendry,” but to no avail this time, as Alexander gets Hendry in the ankle lock. Hendry escapes but Kurt Angle from Wish goes to his next move in his arsenal, hitting a German suplex.

Hendry fights back with another of his five moves of doom, a fall-away slam. Alexander takes over again and locks Hendry in an ankle lock. He drops down to the mat for added leverage. Hendry struggles but eventually gets to the ropes. The referee is bumped. Hendry gets the ankle lock on Alexander. Alexander eventually taps, but the referee didn’t see it.

The fans chant “You tapped out!” but of course in wrestling, the referee is temporarily deaf when someone runs into him and knocks him down. Alexander kicks Hendry low and taunts the crowd as Hendry pops back up and digs in his tights.

Way too deep for a tight camera shot, by the way. He struggles but pulls out a cup and smiles. The referee gets back up. Hendry slaps the ankle lock back on and Alexander taps again. This time the referee sees it. Hendry wins. He poses with the cup, which has his face on it. Fun match as always with Hendry.

The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) defeated ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) to recapture the TNA Tag-Team Championships

The video package for our next title tilt of the evening airs and then we return inside the Impact Zone in San Antonio, where The System team of Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards, with Alisha Edwards, make their way to the ring.

Reigning tag champs ABC come out next. Chris Bey’s ribs are taped up after the match from this week’s Impact against First Class. The bell sounds and off we go with our next match of the evening. Myers and Bey kick things off for their respective teams.

The commentators talk about Bey starting off for ABC despite his ribs being weakened heading into the match. Myers hits a shoulder tackle off the ropes to send Bey to the mat. Bey fights back with a dropkick. Myers takes over again and Bey finds himself in a bad way until Austin comes in and the two send The System out to the floor.

Fans chant “F**k The System” as Myers and Edwards take over and take turns tagging in and out to keep a fresh man on Bey at all times. Alisha Edwards even gets involved at ringside, choking Bey over the ropes as Myers distracts the referee.

Just as Bey gets close to making a tag, Edwards takes out Austin from the floor so he’s not on the apron when Bey gets there. They bring Bey back to their corner of the ring and distract the ref to continue double-teaming him.

Fans get Rated-R with their chants aimed at Alisha Edwards at ringside, ignoring the action in the ring, which has been all The System taking turns beating down a defenseless Bey. “Take it off!” chants continue as Myers and Edwards continue tagging in and out, taunting Austin all-the-while.

Bey finally knocks Edwards down, which buys himself enough time to get to his corner. Once again, Austin is yanked off the apron before Bey can make the much-needed tag. Moments later, however, he does make the tag and Austin comes in with a ton of energy.

He makes the big fired up offensive comeback for ABC. Bey joins him moments later for a double Art of Finesse on Edwards for a close two-count. Bey tags back in and he and Austin call for it again, but Edwards hits Bey with a Blue Thunder Bomb to counter.

Bey fights back again, only for Alisha to grab his ankle from ringside yet again. This leads to a Boston Knee Party for the finish. The System duo of Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards begin The System Reboot tonight by recapturing the TNA Tag-Team Championships.

Jordynne Grace (c) defeated Wendy Choo to retain the TNA Knockouts Championship

The video package sets the stage for our fourth title tilt of the evening, as the TNA Knockouts Championship will be on-the-line next. Wendy Choo comes out looking as creepy and sinister as ever. The commentators point out she could become the first active NXT star to win and hold a TNA title with a win tonight.

Jordynne Grace’s theme hits next and out comes “The Juggernaut” as Hannifan and Rehwoldt talk about her being in a bit of a home turf situation hailing from Austin, complete with family and relatives in the crowd in San Antonio supporting her this evening.

The commentators point out Grace looking emotional being introduced in front of the home field crowd, who give her a big pop. The bell sounds and we’re officially off-and-running with our co-main event of the evening. The two charge at each other and Grace beats down Wendy and roars.

Hannifan reminds fans of the promise “The NXT Liaison” Arianna Grace made “The Juggernaut” ahead of tonight’s match. On the floor, the action continues with Wendy swinging a black pillow case at Grace. Grace ducks and DDTs her on the floor.

Moments later, however, Choo takes over and then gets in Grace’s family’s faces in the crowd. She goes for a cheap shot with the black pillow case as Grace is down on the floor, but Grace’s grandma grabs it as she pulls it back to swing at her.

Grace takes over and poses with Gram-Gram before going back to work on Choo in the ring. In the ring, Choo starts to shift the offensive momentum back in her favor. Grace’s mouth looks to be bleeding a bit. Choo gets Grace in a sleeper, but Grace launches them off the ropes to escape.

Choo hits a big belly to belly suplex off the middle rope for a close two-count. As the action continues, Grace fights back and hits a package suplex that drops Choo on her head in a scary-looking spot. A Juggernaut Driver later and Jordynne Grace is still your TNA Knockouts Champion.

After the match, Jordynne Grace is celebrating her big win in front of her family in attendance, when Rosemary finally appears and spears Grace. Choo slaps the sleeper-hold on Grace once again. She puts her to sleep and they pose over her again. They crawl out of the ring and head to the back as fans boo.

Nic Nemeth (c) defeated Moose to retain the TNA World Championship

It’s main event time!

But first, we see Santino Marella backstage when in walks “The NXT/TNA Liaison” Arianna Grace. Santino is super excited to see her and really likes her. He’s excited to work with her but says he won’t tolerate any shenanigans or monkey business.

Frankie Kazarian’s theme hits inside the Impact Zone and out he comes to join Rehwoldt and Hannifan on special guest commentary for the final match of the show. He gives Rehwoldt a scarf, which makes him happy. He throws some of Hannifan’s crap off the desk and takes a seat.

Moose makes his always awesome ring entrance. The original Oba Femi entrance, for all intents and purposes. The zipper sound affect hits, the woman enjoys herself, and the 80s sounding rock plays as Nic Nemeth makes his way out to continue his run as a fighting TNA World Champion.

The ring announcer handles the final formal ring introductions for the champion and the challenger and then this one gets underway. Moose takes the early offensive lead, brutalizing Nemeth in the corner straight out of the gate.

Nemeth fires up and flurries on Moose, who simply picks him up and walks him out of the corner with a big power bomb. Moose settles into a slow-paced, Roman Reigns style dominating offensive lead for a few moments. He hits a Sky High out of the corner for a two-count.

Moose continues his prolonged offensive beatdown as Kazarian and Rehwoldt have fun bantering on commentary, largely ignoring the action and focusing on roasting Hannifan. Entertaining, but counter-productive. When the action hits the floor, they get focused again. Moose hits a pump kick to Nemeth.

Moose hoists Nemeth up for a power bomb on the floor, but Nemeth counters. He runs and leaps on Moose to follow-up moments later, but Moose catches him and power bombs him on the apron. Ouch. Back in the ring, Nemeth hits a headbutt and knocks Moose out to the floor.

So, of course, while that is going on the commentary is focused on the cologne that Frankie Kazarian is wearing. On the floor, Nemeth muscles Moose up for a belly-to-back suplex. Ouch. Kaz actually puts over the talent now, taking the focus off of himself for a change.

Nemeth looks for a Fame-Asser on the floor, but Moose counters and power bombs Nemeth through the timekeepers table, which quickly explodes into 1,000 toothpicks. Fans react with a loud “Holy sh*t!” chant. Kazarian tells the doctor to sit down because Nemeth is a fighting champion. That was actually a good one.

Back in the ring, Nemeth proves to be exactly that, as he fights back and connects with a FameAsser this time for a close two-count. As Nemeth heads to the top-rope, JDC and Alisha Edwards run down. The temporary distraction allows Moose to recover and get to his feet.

Nemeth hops on his back with a sleeper, but Moose slams him down. Nemeth goes for Danger Zone, but Moose avoids it and turns Nemeth inside-out with a spear for a close two-count. Alisha throws the TNA title into the ring as JDC distracts the ref. Moose grabs it and waits to knock out Nemeth.

Before Nemeth gets up, however, Mike Santana appears out of nowhere and takes the title out of Moose’s hands. JDC goes over to deal with him and the two trade shots and powder out to the back. The camera focuses back in the ring, where Nemeth springs to life out of nowhere and hits a Danger Zone on Moose.

He covers him but Moose somehow kicks out at two. Hannifan says no one has ever kicked out of Nemeth’s Danger Zone in TNA. Moose hits a perfect super-plex off the top. He holds on upon landing and scoops Nemeth up for a power bomb.

Nemeth counters in mid-air and hits his Danger Zone finisher. He goes for the cover, but Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers appear and yank the referee out of the ring before he can count to three. The ref goes to throw out the match, but “Fighting Champion” Nic Nemeth won’t let him.

He does, however, allow him to eject Myers and Edwards from ringside. JBL appears out of nowhere and hits some clotheslines from hell to take out Myers and Edwards. Brutal ones, too. Fans chant “JBL!” as he looks down at his impressive, albeit kind of pointless, actions.

They were already ejected and not doing anything that warranted that. Nemeth is distracted by this and hit with a lariat and spear by Moose. He immediately goes for the cover, but Nemeth kicks out. Moments later, Nemeth hits a lariat and super kick and then hits his Danger Zone for the win to retain. Nemeth celebrates as TNA Victory Road 2024 goes off the air.

TNA Impact live results: The final stop before Victory Road

The final TNA Impact before this Friday’s Victory Road is on tap for tonight featuring a tornado tag team match, The Hardys in action, and more.

Jeff & Matt Hardy will continue their feud with The System as they take on former TNA Tag Team Champions Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers.

Reigning Tag Team Champions Ace Austin & Chris Bey will face First Class (AJ Francis & KC Navarro) in a non-title tornado match.

In an interesting clash, former World Champion Steve Maclin will face Hammerstone who is coming off a loss to NXT North American Champion Oba Femi on Tuesday.

Ash by Elegance will go one-on-one with Xia Brookside while new signing Heather Reckless will battle Gisele Shaw.

Both Joe Hendry and TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will make appearances. Grace is coming off a successful title defense on Tuesday’s WWE NXT and will next defend against Wendy Choo on Friday. Hendry will take on Josh Alexander at the streaming special.

Steve Maclin defeated Hammerstone

After the long recap video kicks off the show, the camera shot settles inside the Impact Zone where Steve Maclin makes his way to the ring. Out next is Hammerstone, with the commentators talking through highlights of his debut on WWE NXT earlier this week.

The bell sounds to start things off, and the two both come out strong. Maclin backs Hammerstone into the corner and lights him up with some chops. Hammerstone fights back but runs into a back-elbow. Maclin drives Hammerstone into his knee and blasts him with a short-range clothesline for a two-count.

Hammerstone muscles Maclin up and rushes him into the corner. He drives his shoulder into his mid-section and blasts him with some forearms. He hoists him up and charges across the ring to do the same thing in the other corner before planting him into the mat with a spinebuster.

Tom Hannifan points out the taped up left shoulder of Maclin and mentions he is curious to see how it holds up in this match. Hammerstone blasts Maclin in the bread basket with a knee. He holds onto Maclin’s injured left arm and begins to go to work on it.

Hammerstone hits a belly-to-back suplex for a two-count, and then goes back to work on his weakened limb. Hammerstone looks for a Torture Rack, but Maclin saw it coming and starts a comeback. He uses his good arm to fight off the muscle monster.

He hits a mean back-breaker and then pounds Hammerstone in the corner. He hangs him upside down in the tree of woe and charges at him with a spear for a close two-count. Maclin tries to hook Hammerstone for the K.I.A., but Hammerstone avoids it and hits a power slam.

Maclin clotheslines Hammerstone over the top and out to the floor. He runs back into the ring and hits a big dive. He brings Hammerstone into the ring and heads to the top-rope. Hammerstone cuts him off and climbs up after him. He hits an enormous overhead belly-to-belly off the top.

Hammerstone hits a single-leg dropkick after avoiding a running knee from Maclin. Hammerstone looks for his finisher but Maclin escapes out the back door and rolls him up for the unexpected three-count.

Hammerstone attacks Maclin after the match. He puts him in the Torture Rack until Eric Young runs out to make the save. Jake Something comes down and he and Hammerstone exchange a look while standing side-by-side glaring at Young and Maclin in the ring.

The System Reboot Continues Tonight

Backstage, Alisha Edwards asks if we want to know something. JDC rips off Jim Neidhart’s “we’re gonna get hungry and forget our manners” line when it is his turn to explain, like the rest of The System all do, why tonight The System Reboot continues. Moose confirms JDC’s status in the group. “You can always trust The System!” The show heads into the first commercial break of the evening.

New Tag-Team Bout For TNA Victory Road

When the show returns, Steve Maclin talks backstage about what he said at TNA Emergence about there not being enough good people worthy of trust and respect in this business. Eric Young walks in and he tells him he’s one of them. Young nods and says the same about Maclin. He tells Hammerstone and Jake Something they’ll see them at Victory Road.

Heather Reckless defeated Gisele Shaw

Inside the Impact Zone, the highly-touted new TNA Knockout Heather Reckless makes her way out for her Impact debut. The commentators sing her praises as she settles inside the squared circle. Her entrance tune dies down and out comes Gisele Shaw for her final match in the promotion.

The commentators remind us about Reckless being cut off last week by Ash By Elegance. The bell sounds and off we go with match number two for this week’s show. The two shake hands, circle and lock up. Shaw muscles Reckless down to the mat with ease.

They lock up again and Shaw slaps a side headlock on Reckless. Reckless begins to fight back and hits a big DDT that plants Shaw’s dome directly into the mat. As the action continues, out comes Ash By Elegance and George Iceman to get a closer look at the action.

Reckless hits a big shoulder tackle off the ropes. She hits a moonsault for a two-count and then follows up with a wild Canadian Destroyer for an even closer nearfall attempt. Shaw fights back with a Spinebuster that would make Arn Anderson proud.

Shaw hits Shock ‘N’ Awe for a close two-count, but Reckless somehow kicks out. George Iceman hops on the apron to distract the referee. While this is going on, Ash By Elegance decks Shaw on the top-rope. Reckless runs up and hits somewhat of a Spanish Fly, which she calls “Recked,” for the win.

Matt Cardona And His Property Set For Action At TNA Victory Road

After the match, we see a new Xia Li “Coming Soon” vignette and then the show heads into another break. When the show returns, “Alwayz Ready” Matt Cardona comes out with his “property,” Steph De Lander. She looks miserable has he orders her around. He makes her hold the ropes for him.

In the ring, she begins to speak first and he yanks the microphone out of her hands and says, “I do the talking around here!” He boasts returning from a life-threatening injury and thinks Santino Marella has it out for him.

Cardona brings up a match with PCO and Rhino against himself and a partner of his choosing for TNA Victory Road. He does a big build-up for the partner reveal, points to the tunnel and then turns to De Lander and says it is her.

He says if she Finger Poke of Dooms him or turns on him, he’s sending her back to Australia. The theme for “The French-Canadian Frankenstein” hits and out comes PCO. Wasn’t Frankenstein the doctors name, by the way?

De Lander low-blows Cardona as PCO enters the ring. He chokeslams Cardona into the mat and gives De Lander a big hug as fans chant his name.

ABC defeated First Class in a Tornado Tag-Team Match

Gia Miller has a quick sit-down interview in the empty arena for a taped segment with Spitfire duo Jody Threat and Dani Luna, who talk about their high stakes tag-team title tilt against TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champions Masha Slamovich and Alisha Edwards at TNA Victory Road 2024. If they lose, the team must break up.

Inside the Impact Zone, the theme for First Class hits and out comes AJ Francis and KC Navarro for scheduled Tornado Tag-Team action. The reigning TNA Tag-Team Champions ABC come out next. Chris Bey and Ace Austin settle in the ring and the match gets started with a bang.

ABC and First Class all end up on the floor almost immediately, and the brawl is on all over the place. Francis and Navarro settle in the early offensive lead. The show heads into a mid-match break as the fight continues.

When the show returns, Francis and Navarro are in a comfortable offensive lead and talking all kinds of trash in the ring. Bey tries fighting back on the floor, but Navarro maintains control of things. Francis continues a slow domination in the ring on Austin, while Navarro keeps stopping Bey from coming in the ring to help.

Moments later, Bey finally does get in the ring and he and Austin hit a double-suplex on Francis. Bey hits a big cutter. Austin follows up with a big spot of his own and the two both cover Francis at the same time for the win. After the match, the show heads into another commercial break.

Joe Hendry & Josh Alexander Talk TNA Victory Road

The show returns with a Jonathan Gresham vignette about him continuing the rebirth and shedding the mask persona. Back inside the Impact Zone, Joe Hendry’s theme hits and he comes out for his scheduled segment.

He settles in the ring after his full entrance and then calls out Josh Alexander. “The Walking Weapon” appears in the rafters and says he’s up there for Hendry’s own protection. He says, “Now make me laugh, funny man.”

Hendry says he wouldn’t make a video making fun of Alexander …or would he? He introduces The Josh Alexander Story. It’s a music video with Hendry calling Alexander a Jesse Pinkman look-alike who is slowly turning into Walter White. His big claim is Alexander doesn’t ever smile. He calls him Kurt Angle From Wish.

Alexander is shown very much not smiling in the rafters when it wraps up. He talks about everyone loving Hendry because he had a couple of videos that went viral. He didn’t earn it like Alexander, making towns and fighting his way to the top the right way.

He says he’ll be smiling ear to ear when he beats Hendry at Victory Road. Hendry says Alexander sounds upset because the fans aren’t chanting “Walking Weapon.” He says he saw a sign earlier that said, “Walking Weiner.” Of course, that starts a loud “Walking Weiner” chant. Alexander says Hendry just dug his grave a little deeper.

Arianna Grace Makes Jordynne Grace A Promise

The commentators talk about Wendy Choo being announced as Jordynne Grace’s opponent for TNA Victory Road in the TNA Knockouts Championship match. We see Grace confront NXT and TNA liaison Arianna Grace about the pillow appearing last week.

She asks who else carries around a pillow other than Choo. Arianna says The Sandman. Grace gets a promise from Arianna that there won’t be any funny business at Victory Road during her match. The show heads into another commercial break.

Ash By Elegance defeated Xia Brookside

When the show returns, Mike Santana is shown in a vignette talking about Nic Nemeth’s commendable run thus far as TNA World Champion. He mentions how he is going to punish Moose. Back inside the Impact Zone, George Iceman introduces Ash By Elegance.

Xia Brookside is out next and then the bell sounds to get this one off-and-running. The two trade shots and then Ash runs into a big boot from Brookside in the corner. Brookside slams her down and then hits a cross body splash for a two-count.

Brookside blasts Ash in the back with a big kick. She rolls her up for two and then blasts her with another kick. Iceman trips up Brookside and Ash starts to take over. She stomps a mudhole in Brookside. She does not, however, walk it dry. She goes for a cover for a two-count.

Brookside fights back and takes over. She hits two Broken Wings to the back of Ash as she is kneeling in the corner. She goes for a third but is stopped by Iceman who hops on the apron and begs her to show mercy to the lovely Ash. She eventually goes for it, but misses. Heather Reckless runs out and cheap shots her and Ash rolls her up for the win. Reckless stands next to Ash as she poses in victory at ringside.

The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) defeated The System (Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards)

It’s main event time!

But first, Nic Nemeth is shown backstage for a go-home promo for Victory Road. He talks about Moose having the chance to handle things like a man, but opting to go a different route.

He mocks The System Reboot and talks about Moose tagging his heroes like The Rock and Triple H, who he points out he shared the ring with and beat in the past. After he wraps up, the commentators hype tonight’s tag-team main event and the show heads into another commercial break.

When the show returns, Ash By Elegance is complaining about her hair to George Iceman when Heather Reckless walks in. They both liked her helping Ash by agree she needs a makeover. Iceman offers to give her one if she wants some time.

Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt run down the lineup for TNA Victory Road. The Hardys vs. First Class in a main card bout and KUSHIDA vs. Leon Slater and Steve Maclin & Eric Young vs. Hammerstone & Jake Something is confirmed for the “Countdown” pre-show.

The System theme hits inside the Impact Zone and out comes Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards accompanied by Alisha Edwards. The three head to the ring for our scheduled tag-team main event match of the evening.

The iconic entrance tune for The Hardys plays next and out comes Matt and Jeff Hardy to the ring to a big pop from the Louisville crowd. As the four men are in the ring and ready to rock and roll, Hannifan and Rehwoldt talk us into one final pre-match commercial break.

When the show returns, fans chant “Happy Birthday” to Jeff Hardy. Hannifan says on commentary they’re wishing him a happy belated birthday. Nice. We’re live .. as far as you know! Evil laugh! Matt and Myers kick things off for their respective teams.

Matt takes the early offensive lead, isolating the arm of Myers and working it over while fans chant “DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!” Jeff tags in, the happy birthday chants spread like wildfire again, and he picks up where Matt left off. After taking it to Myers a bit, he tags Matt right back in.

Myers takes over and brings Matt to The System corner of the ring, where he tags in Edwards. Edwards goes to work on Matt with chops until Matt fights back and tags Jeff back in. The two hit a double-team spot on Edwards. Jeff settles back in the offensive lead.

The Hardys hit their trademark Poetry in Motion double-team spot and then dump Myers and Edwards out to the floor. Jeff dives off the apron with a double clothesline to take out both members of The System. Edwards trips Jeff up as he re-enters the ring and Jeff walks into a super kick from Myers.

As The System settles into the offensive lead, Hannifan talks us into a mid-match commercial break as the main event of the evening continues. When we return, we see Matt fighting from underneath and beginning to make a comeback, only for Alisha Edwards to get involved at ringside and cut it short.

The System settle back into a comfortable offensive lead, utilizing frequent tags and keeping Matt cut off on their side of the ring. Matt hits a right hand a neck-breaker minutes later to finally crawl to his corner for the much-needed tag.

The (belated)-birthday boy gets the hot tag and brings the fans out of their seats with his white-hot babyface comeback. He rolls through his greatest hits of trademark spot, such as the crotch leg drop, Whisper in the Wind and Twist of Fate. He takes the shirt off for the female pop. The works, folks.

His attempt at a top-rope Swanton Bomb is broken up by interference from Myers. Edwards tries capitalizing with a pin, but only gets two. Fans break out in a random-ass “Brother Nero” chant. The System Over-Load attempt is broken up by Matt.

Matt hits a Twist of Fate to Myers off the ropes. He’s sent to the floor and Hardy hits a Twist of Fate on Edwards. Jeff hits the top-rope Swanton Bomb for the win. We all go home happy. And TNA’s Victory Road go-home show ends on that note.

TNA Impact live results: Jordynne Grace Knockouts title open challenge

TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will put her title on the line in an open challenge on tonight’s Impact — the fallout edition from last Friday’s Emergence.

Grace has held the title for over 230 days with 15 successful defenses to her credit. If Grace survives, she will put the title on the line in another open challenge Tuesday on WWE NXT.

After their win in an eight-man match at Emergence, The System will be on hand to kick off the show. Moose & JDC will then team up to take on Mike Santana & Joe Hendry.

New TNA X-Division Champion Zachary Wentz will also be in the house after he survived an Ultimate X match at Emergence to win the title. He is also coming off a victory over former partner Wes Lee at Sunday’s NXT No Mercy as the crossover between both companies continues.

KUSHIDA will face Laredo Kid while former World Champion Eric Young will battle Jake Something.

The System Kick Off This Week’s Show

The lights in the Impact Zone go out as Tom Hannifan welcomes us to this week’s show in Louisville, Kentucky. As advertised, The System theme hits. Out comes Moose, Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, JDC, Alisha Edwards and Masha Slamovich.

They all head to the ring in their Mark Henry early WWE days U.S.A. jackets. Alisha is wearing a neck brace after suffering an injury at Emergence this past Friday. “Do you wanna know something,” Alisha begins as always with her raspy voice.

She says The System has something to say. Fans drown them out, Dominik Mysterio and Don Callis style, with loud boos as they try to talk. Eddie Edwards says The System does not fail. All they needed was a nice little reboot. He says it’s time to get back their championship gold.

Brian Myers says as your former tag-team champions, he and Eddie are contractually obligated for a rematch. Much like Moose, they will be cashing in that clause at TNA Victory Road 2024. They announce they will be challenging ABC for the tag-team titles at the upcoming special event.

JDC gets his turn on the microphone and immediately says, “Shut up, town!” He hands the microphone over to Moose, who tells everyone to shut up because the face of the franchise has something very important to say. He addresses Nic Nemeth. He says in two weeks, he has to face a guy he’s never beaten.

“Like a British lad once said, at Victory Road, I’ve got bad news for ya….” he says because you’re looking at the four-time TNA World Champion. Before we get to Victory Road, he’s got something more important to talk about. And that’s JDC.

He says everyone wants to know JDC’s relationship with The System. He says tonight JDC has a big night. Because if they win their match against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana, JDC will officially become a member of The System. If they lose, JDC is out and everybody in this building knows what The System does to outsiders.

Alisha gets another turn on the mic. She says everybody is asking for their rematches. She’s wicked smart and she knows her right as a champion. She does not have to defend her title more than once every 30 days. She is also under the concussion protocol. Therefore, she can find a suitable replacement if her doctor does not clear her to wrestle.

The theme for Spitfire plays and out comes Dani Luna and Jody Threat. They have a microphone and tell Alisha it was unfortunate what happened to her at Emergence. Alisha tells them MAlisha already beat them once, so they can take their stupid faces and go back to whatever dive bar they crawled out of.

They reveal they spoke with Santino and got another Knockouts tag title shot at Victory Road. It’s do-or-die though, because if Spitfire loses, they must break up as a team. Alisha says they’re actually doing her a favor because she’ll never have to see their stupid faces again. They’re on.

Gia Miller Interviews Eric Young

Backstage, Gia Miller introduces her guest at this time, Eric Young. She asks him how he’s feeling after his battle with Steve Maclin at TNA Emergence. He says he got one over on him, but he’s a guy he respects. He says he has his back no matter what. He is asked about his match tonight with Jake Something. Young says they have history and he’s a bad dude. He’s gonna represent this company and win tonight.

Tom Hannifan Gives Update On JBL At TNA Emergence

We head to a commercial break after the Young interview. When the show returns, footage is shown of JBL’s surprise appearance at the end of TNA Emergence, where he whispered something into Nic Nemeth’s ear after Nemeth retained the TNA World Championship in the Iron Man main event against Josh Alexander. Hannifan says JBL left the building as soon as the show ended and Nemeth has yet to reveal what JBL said to him.

KUSHIDA and Laredo Kid ends in No Contest

The theme for KUSHIDA plays and out he comes in his Marty McFly gear to kick off things on this week’s show inside the squared circle. His opponent in what should be a high-flying wrestling fans dream match, Laredo Kid, heads out next.

After the bell sounds, KUSHIDA immediately isolates the arm of Kid, softening him up for the Hoover Board Lock. The action spills out to the floor and upon returning inside the ring, things are broken up before they can get fully going, as Josh Alexander randomly comes out and attacks.

Josh Alexander defeated KUSHIDA

As Alexander goes to leave, KUSHIDA gets on the microphone at ringside and demands a fight right now between he and “The Walking Weapon.” He charges at Alexander and the brawl continues, as Hannifan informs us on commentary that Santino Marella has made this impromptu bout official.

The two fight their way back into the ring and the bell sounds to get it started. As they get going, the show heads into a mid-match commercial time out. When the show returns, we see KUSHIDA mat wrestling with Alexander.

KUSHIDA gets Alexander in his own ankle lock submission. He hits a German suplex and then stomps on the fingers of Alexander. He lands a big follow-up kick for a two-count. KUSHIDA looks to slap on a straight arm-bar, but Alexander defends.

On the floor, KUSHIDA looks to secure his Hoover Board Lock, but Alexander avoids it and takes over on offense. Back in the ring, Alexander uses his entrance shirt as a weapon. The referee gets rid of it as “The Walking Weapon” proceeds to chop the hell out of KUSHIDA. Moments later, Alexander hits the C4 Spike for the win.

Joe Hendry Has A Message For Josh Alexander

The cameras follow KUSHIDA backstage as he is helped by a referee. He seems to have a neck or throat injury and Joe Hendry checks on him. Josh Alexander walks through the curtain and Hendry gets in his face about this, and for costing him the TNA World Championship at TNA Slammiversary. He assures him he’ll never forget that and he will make him pay.

Jordynne Grace (c) defeated Karmen Petrovic in an open challenge to retain the TNA Knockouts Championship

Back inside the Impact Zone, the theme for Jordynne Grace hits and out comes the TNA Knockouts Champion. “The Juggernaut” settles in the ring as Hannifan promotes her title defense coming up in WWE NXT.

We await the result of who will answer her open challenge tonight first, however. It’s time to see who is assumed to be the loser, with TNA already promoting Grace’s upcoming title defense in NXT like it’s a foregone conclusion.

“Miss NXT” Arianna Grace comes out and says she knows everyone wishes it were her, but it’s not. She says she’s the liaison between TNA and NXT. She gets pretend emotional introducing her good friend, Karmen Petrovic.

The fellow NXT Superstar comes out with her katana sword in-hand to answer Grace’s challenge. The bell sounds and the two shake hands. Karmen throws out some kicks as Hannifan and Rehwoldt sing her praises for her martial arts background.

Rosemary is shown in the rafters watching on, as the commentators promote her involvement in NXT as of late as well. Grace hits a big spinebuster for a close two-count. After Petrovic kicks out, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break as the action continues.

When the show returns, we see footage of Petrovic getting a close two-count during the break. She blasts Grace with a wide variety of kicks as Rosemary is once again shown watching on from high above. Grace begins no-selling the kicks and Hulk’ing up.

All that’s missing was the standing seizure and dramatic “YOU!” finger-point. She takes over and hits her finisher for the win to retain. When the match ends, the lights go out. When they come back on, Grace is laid out with a pillow next to her. Rosemary is shown laughing in the rafters. Wendy Choo?

ABC, First Class To Run It Back Next Week

ABC are cutting a colorful pre-taped vignette when it is interrupted live by First Class duo AJ Francis and KC Navarro. They tell them they shouldn’t be worried about The System at Victory Road as much as they should be worried about First Class right now. Ace Austin and Chris Bey try to explain tag-team rules to them while the four reminisce about their recent match. They set up a bout for next week’s show.

Xia Zhao Is Coming Soon To TNA

After the ABC and First Class segment, the show heads into another commercial break. When the show returns, a “Coming soon” vignette for Xia Zhao, formerly known as Xia Li in WWE airs.

Zachary Wentz & “Speedball” Mike Bailey defeated The Good Hands

Inside the Impact Zone, new TNA X-Division Champion Zachary Wentz comes to the ring. He talks about thinking his career was over not too long ago. He says he worked his ass off and became TNA X-Division Champion.

“Speedball” Mike Bailey comes out and congratulates Wentz on winning the title but says he’s invoking his rematch clause for the X-Division Championship at Victory Road. The Good Hands come out and say Jason Hotch was robbed at Emergence. John Skyler and Jason Hotch attack Bailey and Wentz.

We learn via the ring announcer per Santino Marella that this impromptu tag-team match is now official. Bailey and Wentz fight back and lay out Skyler and Hotch. In the ring, Bailey and Hotch start things off as the legal two men in the ring. Skyler tags in and takes over on offense.

Wentz tags in and hits his finisher to pick up the win for his team. Bailey hands him the X-Division Championship after their win as Hannifan and Rehwoldt promote their upcoming showdown with the title on-the-line at Victory Road.

Steph De Lander Confronts Matt Cardona

Backstage, Steph De Lander is shown calming PCO down. She wants to confront Matt Cardona by herself. The show heads to another commercial. When the show returns, footage airs to show the connection between Rosemary and NXT’s Wendy Choo. It is alluded that was the pillow earlier in the Jordynne Grace beatdown.

A video package airs with Rosemary acting like, well, Rosemary, while referencing Choo and questioning if she can trust her. Back inside the Impact Zone, De Lander makes her way to the ring. She brings up Cardona ruining her wedding and being involved in her business lately.

De Lander demands Cardona come out to the ring. Cardona’s theme hits and out he comes. He reminds De Lander of a contract they each signed. The date was March 13, 2023, the day Cardona found her in Australia and plucked her from obscurity.

He promised to change her life and give her a career. He says that’s exactly what he did. He brought her to the U.S. and got her booked on the hottest indy shows in the business. He got her an action figure, magazine covers and a job in TNA. He paid for her tickets and hotels.

He held up his end up the contract, now it’s her turn to do the same. She’s his property and he owns her. De Lander says it’s true but she worked hard and had good matches. She would’ve been a star with or without him and this contract means nothing to her. He gets in her face until she cries and PCO comes out to run him off. The show heads into another commercial break.

The Hardys Set To Battle The System Next Week

When the show returns, a fired up Matt Hardy talks while Jeff Hardy stands next to him with cool face paint on. Matt talks about how everyone says The Hardys were great. They were fans’ childhoods. He says it’s not were. It’s they are. They are great. They will prove it next week against The System duo of Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards. By beating them, they claim they’ll be back in the mix to win the TNA World Tag-Team Championships and prove they still are great. The greatest of all-time.

Eric Young defeated Jake Something

Inside the Impact Zone, Eric Young makes his cool entrance to the ring for our next match of the evening. After he settles inside the squared circle, his theme dies down. Jake Something makes his way out as his opponent, the bell sounds and this one gets off-and-running.

Something immediately goes to work on Young in the corner of the ring, driving his shoulder into the mid-section of the TNA veteran repeatedly. Something hits a big power bomb for a close two-count. He gets frustrated at his inability to finish off Young.

Young fights back with a discus lariat. He looks for a death valley driver and connects with it on the big man for a close two-count of his own. He calls for the elbow drop and heads to the top, but Something stops him. Young hits a piledriver for the win.

After the match, Young tries to show respect but Something turns on him and Donkey Kong’s him into the mat. He continues to beat him down until Steve Maclin runs out to chase him off and make the save for the man he just battled this past Friday at Emergence.

Moose & JDC defeated Joe Hendry & Mike Santana

It’s main event time!

But first, we head backstage where Gia Miller catches up with Joe Hendry as he is preparing to head to the ring for our final match of the evening. He says you can’t deny the momentum he is riding and asks her to excuse him because he’s got a TNA World Championship to continue to chasing.

The show heads into a quick pre-match commercial break, as the main event with Joe Hendry & Mike Santana battling The System duo Moose and JDC is up next. If The System lose, JDC will be an outsider and face outsider consequences. If they win, JDC is officially part of The System.

When the show returns, the signing of Heather Reckless is announced. Her debut is set for next week against Gisele Shaw. After that, Gia Miller is joined backstage by Reckless for her debut interview. She says she’s excited to be here and says she’s here to show the world and the Knockouts division why her name is Heather Reckless.

Ash By Elegance comes in with George Iceman to interrupt her. Gisele Shaw comes in and ends up slapping her. Steve Maclin vs. Hammerstone is also announced for next week’s show. Inside the Impact Zone, the lights go out and The System make their way out for the tag-team headliner.

Out next is Joe Hendry. He settles in the ring to a rock star reception and fans singing along with his catchy-ass “I Believe In Joe Hendry” theme. He gets on the mic and says he knows how this goes. He riles the crowd up, gets them to wave their hands, and then he turns around and gets attacked.

He tells The System duo of Moose and JDC that they should turn around instead. They do and are met with a double clothesline by Mike Santana, who was in the ring behind them. As the four brawl, we see Josh Alexander walking down the ramp without any music.

“The Walking Weapon” settles in on special guest commentary alongside Hannifan and Rehwoldt as Hendry and Santana kick things off for their respective teams. The show heads into a quick mid-match commercial break as the main event of the evening continues.

When the show returns, Hendry is in the middle of hitting a big fall-away slam on Moose. He follows up with one on Santana but then walks into a pump kick from Moose. Hendry fights back and hoists Moose up for his stalled suplex as Alexander bickers with Hannifan while Rehwoldt kisses his butt on commentary.

Alisha Edwards provides a distraction from ringside, which allows Moose and JDC to take over and beat down Hendry. Moose works Hendry over on the floor a bit and then rolls him back inside the ring, where he continues to take it to him. Hendry fights back with a suplex and tags in Santana.

Santana hits the Rolling Buck 50 on Moose and then launches Santana out to him on the floor. Alexander tells Hendry at ringside to focus on the match and not him. As soon as he turns to do exactly that, Alexander pops up from the commentary desk and low-blows Hendry.

Santana splashes onto him from the ring for a big pop. Back in the ring, Moose hits a big spear and makes the cover on Santana to give The System duo the win. With the win, JDC is now officially a member of The System.

Nic Nemeth Sends A Message To Moose

Nic Nemeth is shown watching on his smart phone. “Not too bad Moose. Not too bad.” He congratulates them on “The System Reboot” catchphrase and tells Moose all he had to do was challenge him. He wanted to fight the very best since day one, that’s why he kicked Moose’s teeth down his throat on day one. He says now that he’s the champion, all he had to do was look him in the eye.

He says instead he took the child’s way out. He says it’s been killing him for months that he didn’t get to pin the man he thinks is the best to win the title.
