After defending his title against Trent Beretta on Friday’s Battle of the Belts IV thanks to the use of a hammer, AEW All-Atlantic Champion PAC was jumped by Orange Cassidy before escaping the ring. It was later announced that PAC and Cassidy will rematch for the title Wednesday.
In a bout announced on Friday’s Rampage, interim AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm will team with Hikaru Shida against Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter in a rematch from a late-August Dynamite.
All four participants were in the four-way match to crown the interim Women’s Champion at All Out.
The new additions bring the count to five matches now set for AEW’s Canadian debut at the Coca-Cola Coliseum. They will also tape next week’s Rampage episode at the same venue on Thursday, October 13.

During her challenge of AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa at Battle of the Belts III, Jamie Hayter suffered a broken nose, first reported by Fightful.
The injury occurred when Hayter was delivering her sheer drop brainbuster to Rosa. When Rosa came down, her knee came down on Hayter’s face and she immediately began clutching it before making a pin attempt.
She continued the match and eventually lost the match via a roll-up. Her nose never bled during the duration of the bout, but looked to be shifted to one side during a brief close-up.
The match was taped Friday prior to AEW Rampage and aired during the one-hour TNT special Saturday.
Hayter has yet to comment on social media about the injury.
It’s the latest injury in a year full of them for AEW wrestlers. AEW World Champion CM Punk, Kenny Omega, Dante Martin, Dax Harwood, Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Penelope Ford, and Bobby Fish are just a few of the recent talents that are either on the injured list, working through injuries, or have just returned.

Also set for Wednesday, the Jericho Appreciation Society will have a victory speech. Jericho remains in a storyline with Eddie Kingston, who spoke to Jericho via phone on Friday’s Rampage episode, vowing revenge for Jericho throwing a fireball at him.
Wednesday’s Dynamite will be held on Long Island, New York at the UBS Arena.
Here is the lineup:
Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament quarterfinal: Darby Allin vs. Jeff Hardy
Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament quarterfinal: Adam Cole vs. Dax Harwood
Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament quarterfinal: Toni Storm vs. Jamie Hayter
AEW has announced the first Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament first round bout.
Toni Storm will face Jamie Hayter in the first round of the Owen. No date was announced for the match, which was set up in a backstage promo segment on this week’s Dynamite.
Following up on their backstage interaction on last week’s Dynamite, Storm and Hayter had another face-to-face on this week’s show, where it was revealed that the two will face each other in the first round.
Storm defeated The Bunny in a qualifying match in her AEW debut on the March 30 Dynamite, while Hayter defeated Skye Blue to qualify for the tournament on the April 1 Rampage, taped on March 30.
The bracket for the tournament has yet to be revealed. Qualifying matches for the Women’s Tournament continue on Friday’s Rampage, as Ruby Soho takes on Robyn Renegade. In another qualifier on next week’s Dynamite, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. will face Danielle Kamela.
Ahead of their AEW Women’s World Championship match at Revolution, Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa will face off in tag team action.
AEW has announced that Baker & Jamie Hayter vs. Rosa & Mercedes Martinez will take place on tonight’s Dynamite. The episode is Dynamite’s go-home show for Revolution.
In storyline, Baker hired Martinez to attack Rosa during the semifinals of the TBS Championship tournament. Rosa then defeated Martinez two weeks ago on Dynamite. After the match, Martinez hesitated to join Baker and company in an attack on Rosa. Martinez was then ambushed from behind by Hayter.
Last week during a contract signing on Rampage, Martinez came to Rosa’s rescue and ended up putting Hayter through a table to end the segment.
Baker is defending her AEW Women’s World title against Rosa at Revolution this Sunday.
The updated lineup for tonight’s Dynamite is as follows:
AEW World Champion Adam “Hangman” Page and Dark Order’s John Silver & Alex Reynolds vs. Adam Cole and reDRagon (Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish)
A Casino Tag Team Battle Royale with the winner advancing to the three-way AEW Tag Team title match at Revolution
AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter vs. Thunder Rosa & Mercedes Martinez
Thunder Rosa has advanced in the TBS Women’s title tournament.
Rosa defeated Jamie Hayter tonight on Dynamite to advance to the semifinals. The finish had Rosa putting Hayter in the Peruvian necktie, but Britt Baker broke up the hold while Rebel on the apron had the referee distracted. Rosa avoided a superkick attempt by Baker, who instead struck Hayter by accident. Rosa pushed Baker into Rebel then rolled Hayter up for the win.
After the match, an upset Hayter shoved Baker and walked away. Later, during a Friendsgiving segment with Baker, Rebel, and Tony Schiavone, Hayter was not seen.
With the win, Rosa advances to the semifinals of the tournament, where she will face Jade Cargill. The other semifinal match will have Nyla Rose face off against the winner of a match between Kris Statlander and Ruby Soho that will take place on next week’s Dynamite at the Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia.
Jamie Hayter has advanced in the TBS title tournament, defeating Anna Jay in a first round match on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
The finish had Rebel at ringside distracting the referee. Britt Baker then interfered, allowing Hayter to drill Jay with a lariat for the win.
After the match, the trio beat down Jay until Tay Conti ran out. She tried to make the save, but succumbed to the numbers game. Thunder Rosa, who will face Hayter as a result of tonight’s win, then came down to even the odds and run off the heels.
Other second round matches include Nyla Rose vs. Hikaru Shida and Ruby Soho vs. Kris Statlander. One final opening round match between The Bunny and Red Velvet will take place on this Friday’s Rampage with the winner moving on to face Jade Cargill.
The finals are set to take place on January 5, the first Dynamite of the new year on their new network, TBS.
Cody Rhodes vs. Andrade is set for next week’s Dynamite.
Andrade confronted Rhodes during a promo on tonight’s show. He put down Cody, mocking his tattoo and saying that while Cody may care that he gets booed, he does not. Andrade entered the ring and looked to attack when the lights went out. When they came back on, Malakai Black was in the ring and the two jumped Cody and Arn Anderson. PAC eventually made his way to the ring to make things even.
Two tournament matches will also take place. Jon Moxley defeated Preston Vance of the Dark Order tonight, making the Dynamite match next week him against Orange Cassidy. The winner of that match will advance to the finals of the tournament at Full Gear, where they will either take on Bryan Danielson or Eddie Kingston.
Anna Jay vs. Jamie Hayter in a TBS Women’s Championship tournament match will also take place. Both Jay and friend Tay Conti have been feuding with Britt Baker and her associates in recent weeks. Conti will challenge Baker for the AEW Women’s Championship at Full Gear.
Ruby Soho’s first AEW Dynamite opponent has been announced.
Soho will take on Jamie Hayter on this week’s show. Soho made her AEW debut as the surprise entrant in the women’s Casino Battle Royale at Sunday’s All Out pay-per-view. Soho won the match to earn a future Women’s World Championship match against Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., though no official date for the title match has been announced.
This will be Soho’s first singles match since a May 7 loss to Carmella on WWE SmackDown.
Hayter returned to AEW and aligned with Baker after the main event of Rampage on August 13. Hayter’s victory over Red Velvet on the August 25 edition of Dynamite was her first match for AEW since November 2019. She worked primarily for STARDOM, OTT and RevPro throughout 2020 and the first half of 2021.
Here is the announced lineup for Wednesday’s Dynamite:
New participants have been added to AEW’s Women’s Casino Battle Royale that will take place at All Out.
Abadon, KyLinn King, Leyla Hirsch, Rebel, and Jamie Hayter have been added to the match. Anna Jay, who returned to AEW after being off due to injury on tonight’s episode of Dynamite, has also been added.
Others announced for the battle royale include Jade Cargill, Kiera Hogan, Hikaru Shida, Emi Sakura, Thunder Rosa, Tay Conti, Julia Hart, Big Swole, The Bunny, Red Velvet, Penelope Ford, Nyla Rose, and Diamante. Overall, nineteen participants have now been announced for the battle royale, with the winner getting a future AEW Women’s Championship match.
Originally the Buy-In preshow match, the battle royale has now been added to the main show after PAC vs. Andrade el Idolo was postponed.
Here is the current lineup for All Out pay-per-view, which takes place on September 5 in Hoffman Estates, Illinois:

Paul Wight vs. QT Marshall
Jon Moxley vs. Satoshi Kojima
Women’s Casino Battle Royale
Buy In pre-show: Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, Wheeler Yuta, and Jurassic Express vs. Matt Hardy, Private Party, and TH2
Jamie Hayter returned to AEW on tonight’s Rampage, aligning herself with Britt Baker.
Baker defeated Red Velvet to retain the AEW Women’s title on tonight’s show. After the match, Baker continued to attack Velvet. Kris Statlander, who was in the crowd, came into the ring and confronted Baker. A woman in a hood then came in and attacked Statlander, revealing herself to be Hayter. Baker curb stomped Velvet into the Women’s title to end the show.
AEW’s social media later confirmed that Hayter had signed with the promotion.
Hayter made several appearances for AEW in 2019, losing to Baker in a match that took place in October that year on Dynamite. She also made an appearance on an episode of NXT UK in January 2020, losing to Piper Niven (now Doudrop on Raw).
Hayter has appeared for RevPro in the United Kingdom, where she has held the British Women’s Championship, and Stardom in Japan, where she held the SWA Undisputed World Championship. She had to vacate the British Women’s Championship back in June when she accepted a tryout offer from NXT UK that took place on the same night of a RevPro show.
