AEW couple opening new business together

AEW couple Ruby Soho and Angelo Parker are launching a new business together this week.

On October 16, a new board game cafe named “Victory Roll” will open in Mishawaka, Indiana. Soho and Parker are part of the ownership group for the cafe. The logo — inspired by their wrestling careers — features a luchador mask. There will also be a championship belt on display at the cafe that board game winners can pose with.

The cafe aims to be an all-ages space with hundreds of games available. There is a dedicated room for children’s games as well as a dedicated area for role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons.

Most of the coffee sold at Victory Roll will be from Open Air Coffee — a company that is owned by Bishop Dyer (former WWE wrestler Baron Corbin). The cafe boasts that it will also offer “deliciously unique food” and “amazing sweets.”

“The husband and wife duo, known outside the ring as Dori and Jeff Parker, are on maternity leave right now, and using their time off to help put Victory Roll on the map alongside longtime friends and business partners,” ABC 57 News in Indiana/Michigan wrote.

Soho and Parker welcomed their first child, a daughter, into the world in October 2024. Soho has not returned to the ring yet post-pregnancy but has resumed in-ring training.

Parker did work a few matches earlier this year but has not competed since April.

Ruby Soho resumes in-ring training following birth of first child

Ruby Soho is training again.

The AEW wrestler posted a photo of herself inside a wrestling ring to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, thanking Zoey Skye for “driving so far” to train with her.

“Thank you to my girl @ZoeySkyepro for driving so far to roll around with my rusty ass,” Soho wrote.

Soho hasn’t wrestled since February 2024. She and Angelo Parker revealed at the April 17 AEW Rampage taping that they were expecting their first child together. The two were married the following month, and their daughter Evie was born last Halloween.

At the time the couple announced they were having a child, they were involved in a storyline in AEW with Saraya and her brother Zak Knight, both of whom are no longer with the company. Parker wrestled a few matches on Ring of Honor before returning to AEW programming earlier this year as part of the storyline with Adam Cole, Daniel Garcia, and Paragon.

AEW wrestlers and real-life married couple Ruby Soho and Angelo Parker announced the birth of their first child via social media on Thursday.

The girl is named Evie, born “a few nights ago” and a “few days early,” according to the new mom. After announcing the pregnancy on Rampage in April, the couple announced the sex of the baby in August. The two were married in May and brought their real-life relationship on screen earlier this year.

The 40-year-old Parker has wrestled just seven times this year and hasn’t been in AEW since April, working for Ring of Honor in his last three matches. He hasn’t been in the ring since August. His longtime tag team partner Matt Menard hasn’t wrestled since July and has primarily been on commentary for various AEW broadcasts.

The 33-year-old Soho last wrestled in early-February when she was then part of The Outcasts with Saraya.

The AEW couple revealed the gender of their baby in a social media post on Wednesday. Soho wrote:

In celebration of the first day of my last trimester…. We wanted to announce that the newest little “pain in the ASS” addition to the Parker family….is a GIRL! She will be joining us in October and we can’t wait to meet her!

Soho and Parker announced that they were expecting at a Rampage taping in April. The couple were then married in May. Soho has been out of action since February, while Parker last wrestled at a Ring of Honor TV taping last month in Arlington, Texas.

Parker joined AEW in 2021 alongside Matt Menard after being released by WWE NXT. Soho signed with AEW later the same year and debuted in the Casino Battle Royale at All Out, winning a future Women’s World title shot that year.

AEW’s Ruby Soho & Angelo Parker get married

An AEW couple has tied the knot.

Ruby Soho and Angelo Parker, who recently announced they are expecting their first child, appear to have gotten married over the weekend. The Dark Order’s John Silver posted a photo to social media on Saturday that he recently attended Soho and Parker’s wedding.

Silver wrote, “Congrats to the new beautiful couple. I danced the whole time.”

Soho and Parker announced last month that they are expecting their first child together in a segment taped for AEW Rampage. The couple’s real-life relationship recently became involved in AEW storylines and led to Saraya and Harley Cameron turning on Soho and kicking her out of The Outcasts.

Soho hasn’t wrestled since the February 7 edition of Rampage when she teamed with Saraya and lost to Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander in tag-team action. Parker hasn’t wrestled since dropping a singles match to Zak Knight on the April 10 Rampage.

Ruby Soho, Angelo Parker announce pregnancy at AEW Rampage taping

Ruby Soho & Angelo Parker are expecting their first child.

Soho made the announcement in a segment with Parker taped Wednesday night to air on Saturday’s AEW Rampage episode.

Video of the segment is embedded below.

Soho & Parker’s real-life relationship has spilled over to AEW storylines, as Soho & Parker getting together was used as a storyline catalyst for Saraya & Harley Cameron to turn on Soho and disband The Outcasts. Saraya’s brother Zak Knight has since joined the storyline to feud with Parker, including defeating Parker on last week’s Rampage in their first match.

Soho was last in action on the February 9 Rampage, taped February 7 in a tag team match where she left Saraya on her own in a contest against Willow Nightingale & Kris Statlander.

AEW Rampage will air live this week on Saturday, April 20 at 10 p.m. Eastern time on TNT following a live Collision, but it appears that the promotion taped the Soho-Parker segment to air on Saturday.

Jay White vs. Mark Briscoe, Riho return match signed for AEW Dynamite Winter is Coming

The Continental Classic tournament continues on this Wednesday’s Winter is Coming edition of AEW Dynamite as Jay White takes on Mark Briscoe.

White is looking for his third win of the tournament and three more points while Briscoe is in search of his first tournament victory.

White has wins over Rush and Jay Lethal while Briscoe has gone down in defeat to Rush, Swerve Strickland and Jon Moxley. This is a rematch from last month’s Dynamite in which White picked up the victory.

Also new for the show: former AEW Women’s Champion Riho against perennial challenger Ruby Soho in their first singles match since May when Soho picked up the win.

Riho made her surprise return on last Wednesday’s show at the end of Toni Storm’s AEW Women’s title defense over Skye Blue. This will be Riho’s first AEW action since mid-June.

In a new promo segment, the Golden Jets (Kenny Omega & Chris Jericho) will share some thoughts after Omega was jumped by Big Bill on Saturday’s edition of AEW Collision. After Bill & Ricky Starks took out Jericho after last month’s Full Gear, it’s expected Starks & Bill will defend the titles against the Jets at this month’s Worlds End.

Here’s the current Winter is Coming card for Arlington, Texas:

  • AEW Continental Classic Gold League: Jon Moxley vs. Swerve Strickland
  • AEW Continental Classic Gold League: Rush vs. Jay Lethal
  • AEW Continental Classic Gold League: Jay White vs. Mark Briscoe
  • Riho vs. Ruby Soho
  • Hangman Adam Page vs. Roderick Strong

Ruby Soho vs. Skye Blue vs. Anna Jay set for AEW Dynamite

Tony Khan has announced another match for tonight’s Dynamite.

Ruby Soho vs. Skye Blue vs. Anna Jay in a triple threat match is now advertised for the show.

“Tonight’s Thanksgiving 3 Way fight pits Chicago’s Skye Blue v Anna Jay v Ruby Soho (w/@Saraya) in the midst of Ruby’s saga with Anna’s partner @TheAngeloParker,” Khan wrote on X.

Angelo Parker’s recent admiration of Soho could be a factor in the match. He will be in the corner of Anna Jay along with Matt Menard on tonight’s show.

Khan also announced a trios match for tonight with Orange Cassidy, Hook, and Katsuyori Shibata facing former JAS members Jake Hager, Angelo Parker, & Matt Menard.

AEW Dynamite on November 22 takes place from Chicago’s Wintrust Arena. According to WrestleTix, 4,329 tickets have been distributed to the show.

Kris Statlander vs. Ruby Soho added to AEW All Out

Kris Statlander will be defending the TBS Championship next Sunday at All Out.

On Saturday’s Collision, Ruby Soho made it clear she wanted the next championship match against Kris Statlander. In a promo that aired later in the show, Statlander accepted Soho’s challenge, saying she was tired of the Outcasts and if they wanted to call her out, she’ll take them out.

This past Wednesday’s Dynamite saw Soho defeat Sky Blue. Prior to the match, an inset promo aired with Soho calling out Statlander. Soho’s partners Saraya and Toni Storm will compete at All In this Sunday, facing off in a four-way match with AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida and Britt Baker also involved. On Friday’s Rampage, Soho got involved in a tag match featuring all four of the participants, leading to Statlander coming out and carrying Soho away.

Here is the updated lineup for next Sunday’s All Out, which takes place at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois:

  • TNT Championship: Luchasaurus defends against Darby Allin
  • TBS Championship: Kris Statlander defends against Ruby Soho
  • Miro vs. Powerhouse Hobbs

Three matches, Britt Baker segment set for AEW Rampage

Dr. Britt Baker is set to speak on this Friday’s AEW Rampage.

Baker defeated The Bunny on Dynamite to earn the final spot in the AEW Women’s Championship four-way match at All In against AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida, Toni Storm and Saraya.

Shida and Storm will be on opposite sides of the ring on Friday as they compete against one another in a tag team match. Shida will team with Skye Blue while Storm will be joined by Outcasts’ teammate Ruby Soho.

The Ring of Honor Tag Team titles will be on the line as Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) defend against Ethan Page & Brother Zay. Aussie Open won the titles at ROH’s Death Before Dishonor in a four-way match.

Komander and Rey Fenix will square off for the first time ever on Friday’s show. Komander is coming off his first AEW win when he beat Kip Sabian on the July 26 edition of Rampage.

Sammy Guevara vs. Jon Cruz was also taped as part of the action Wednesday, but that match has not officially been announced as of this writing.

Here’s the updated lineup:

  • Toni Storm & Ruby Soho vs. AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida & Skye Blue
  • Komander vs. Rey Fenix
  • Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) vs. Ethan Page & Brother Zay
  • We hear from Britt Baker

Women’s Owen Hart tournament finals set for AEW Collision

The finals for Saturday’s women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament are now set following Friday’s AEW Rampage.

On Saturday’s AEW Collision from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Willow Nightingale will take on Ruby Soho with one of them becoming the second-ever tournament winner.

The former NJPW Strong Women’s Champion defeated current Ring of Honor Women’s Champion Athena Friday to advance. The win snaps a 50-match singles win streak for Athena in all promotions that dates back to September 2022.

Soho and Nightingale were tag team partners for some time in AEW, culminating with a bloody street fight victory over Anna Jay A.S. & Tay Melo this past January. After Soho joined the Outcasts, she picked up a singles win over Nightingale in March in their only-ever singles match.

Soho is in her second straight Owen Hart Foundation tournament final, losing to Britt Baker last year.

Here’s the lineup for Saturday’s show:

  • Men’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament final: CM Punk vs. Ricky Starks
  • Women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament final: Willow Nightingale vs. Ruby Soho
  • AEW Tag Team Champions FTR defend against Bullet Club Gold (Jay White & Juice Robinson) in a 2/3 falls match

Ruby Soho advances to AEW Owen Hart Foundation tournament finals

Ruby Soho has advanced in the AEW Owen Hart Foundation women’s tournament.

Soho advanced on Wednesday’s Dynamite, defeating Sky Blue after pinning her with the no future. With the win, she advances to Saturday’s finals on AEW Collision at the Saddledome in Calgary, where she will take on the winner of the Willow Nightingale/Athena match that is scheduled for Friday’s AEW Rampage.

Originally, Nightingale and Athena were set to wrestle on this past Saturday’s Collision event. However, Tony Khan announced on social media that the match was delayed due to injuries Nightingale suffered during the NJPW Strong Independence Day tour in Japan. On that tour, she lost the NJPW Strong Women’s title to Giulia.

The men’s finals were determined on this past Saturday’s Collision. Ricky Starks defeated Powerhouse Hobbs to advance, while CM Punk defeated Samoa Joe. After Punk’s match against Joe, Joe attacked Punk after pretending he would shake Punk’s hand. FTR ran down for the save, and the show ended with Punk and Starks having a staredown.

Semifinals set for women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament

The semifinals for the women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament are now set.

Ruby Soho defeated Britt Baker on Wednesday’s Dynamite. The finish of the match had Soho grab onto Toni Storm’s hand at ringside, using her for leverage during a roll-up to secure the win. After the match, Skye Blue came out she and Soho had a staredown. They will meet next Wednesday on Dynamite to determine the final spot in the tournament finals.

The first semifinal match in the women’s tournament will take place this coming Saturday on Collision, where ROH Women’s Champion Athena squares off against Willow Nightingale. The winners of the two semifinal matches will then meet in the finals on the July 15 episode of Collision at the Saddledome in Calgary.

In the men’s tournament, both semifinal matches will also take place on this coming Saturday’s show. CM Punk will face Samoa Joe, while Powerhouse Hobbs will take on Ricky Starks.

Baker vs. Soho Owen Hart tournament match set for next AEW Dynamite

Last year’s finalists will meet in the first round of the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament on the June 28 AEW Dynamite.

As announced during this week’s episode, 2022 Owen winner Britt Baker will face last year’s runner-up Ruby Soho in the first round of this year’s tournament on next week’s Dynamite.

Last year’s Owen finals took place at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view in May, where Baker won the Women’s Tournament by defeating Soho, and Adam Cole won the Men’s Tournament by defeating Samoa Joe.

This year’s Owen brackets were announced on this week’s Dynamite.

Also set for next week, the full bracket will be revealed for the AEW blind eliminator tournament. Adam Cole & World Champion MJF became the first partners announced for the tournament on this week’s show. The tournament winners will earn a title shot at FTR’s AEW Tag Team titles.

Next week’s lineup:

  • Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament first round match: Britt Baker vs. Ruby Soho
  • Full bracket for the AEW blind eliminator tournament will be revealed
