Kris Statlander vs. Megan Bayne added to AEW Dynamite

A high-profile match in the women’s division has been added to tonight’s AEW Dynamite as Kris Statlander takes on Megan Bayne.

The two have been eyeing each other for several weeks after Bayne re-emerged in the promotion. Both came out of the Northeast indie scene and this will be their first ever match against each other.

After returning in mid-January, the 26-year-old Bayne is 2-0 in AEW while the 29-year-old Statlander is coming off a win over Penelope Ford on last week’s Dynamite. Statlander attacked Bayne and laid her out following the Ford win after the two had a pre-match skirmish.

Here’s the current lineup for tonight’s show from Phoenix, Arizona:

  • AEW International Championship series: Orange Cassidy vs. Roderick Strong
  • Street fight: Big Bill vs. Powerhouse Hobbs
  • MJF and Hangman Page face-to-face
  • The Ops (Samoa Joe, Hook & Katsuyori Shibata) vs. The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Nick Wayne & Kip Sabian)
  • Kris Statlander vs. Megan Bayne

Kris Statlander claims first spot in next week’s AEW Dynamite Casino Gauntlet

Kris Statlander will enter next week’s AEW Dynamite Casino Gauntlet match in first position.

Statlander won a triple threat match on this week’s AEW Dynamite, defeating Toni Storm and Willow Nightingale to earn the first spot in the women’s Casino Gauntlet set for next week’s Dynamite Maximum Carnage. Statlander pinned Storm with Staturday Night Fever to win Wednesday’s contest.

The winner of the Casino Gauntlet next week will earn an AEW Women’s World Championship match at Grand Slam Australia on Saturday, February 15. Mariah May is the current AEW Women’s Champion.

Under AEW’s Casino Gauntlet rules, the match begins with two competitors, with more wrestlers added to the bout at regular intervals. The first entrant has an advantage, as the match ends with the first fall, unlike a traditional gauntlet match.

Statlander is on the in-ring run of her career, coming off a pair of critically-acclaimed bouts with Mercedes Mone at November’s Full Gear pay-per-view, and at December’s Worlds End event.

Mercedes Mone sees Kris Statlander as ‘another wrestling soulmate’

After two highly praised pay-per-view matches, Mercedes Mone knows that she and Kris Statlander share a special connection in the ring.

Mone retained the TBS Championship over Statlander at both AEW Full Gear and Worlds End. In this week’s edition of her Mone Mag, Mone explained that she wasn’t feeling her best at Worlds End due to exhaustion and the “lingering effects of a relentless illness.” But as soon as they got into the ring, Statlander’s energy helped Mone rise to the occasion. She feels like she’s found another in-ring soulmate in Statlander.

“Backstage, the trainers rallied around me, offering encouragement and advice. As I prepared for my match, I felt a mix of nerves and adrenaline. The moment I stepped into the ring, I was struck by Kris’s renewed energy. It was clear that this would be a battle like no other,” Mone wrote. “Despite feeling like I was at my lowest, I tapped into a reservoir of strength I didn’t know I had. Each move was a testament to the hard work and perseverance that had brought me to this moment. As the match progressed, I narrowly escaped defeat, pushing my body and mind to their limits. Finally, after the exhilarating 1-2-3 count, I stumbled to the back, utterly drained but exhilarated.

“The praise that followed was overwhelming. Fans and peers alike hailed our match as one of the greatest women’s bouts of all time. In my heart, I knew that Kris had pushed me to be better, to think creatively, and to fight with everything I had. She’s not just a formidable opponent, but I think I’ve found another wrestling soulmate who challenges me to elevate my game.”

Mone added that she can’t wait to wrestle Statlander again — and Mone believes they can have an even greater match next time when she’s 100 percent.

Last month, Mone called her Full Gear match against Statlander one of her favorite bouts that she’s ever had.

Next up for Mone is a Tokyo Dome showdown against Mina Shirakawa at Wrestle Dynasty on January 5. It’s a double title match where Mone’s NJPW Strong Women’s Championship and Shirakawa’s Revolution Pro Wrestling Undisputed British Women’s Championship are both on the line.

If Mone defeats Shirakawa, she will become a triple champion — holding the TBS, NJPW Strong, and RevPro belts.

TBS Championship match set for AEW Worlds End

Kris Statlander is getting a second chance.

Statlander and Mercedes Mone agreed to a TBS Championship match on Saturday’s Collision at the Hammerstein Ballroom. In recent weeks, Statlander had made it clear she wanted to be next in line for a championship shot.

Shortly before her match against Penelope Ford on Saturday, Statlander made the challenge to Mone. Following her victory, Mone came out and said she originally was going to take Worlds End off, but since it’s the holidays, she would grant Statlander another title match and would beat her once again.

In her promo earlier in the show, Statlander said ever since Mone came into AEW, she has been in a downward spiral. Statlander hoped that if she were to regain the title, she could start fixing some of the problems that she created.

AEW Worlds End 2024 is scheduled to take place on December 28 from the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida, featuring the following advertised lineup:

  • Jon Moxley (c) vs. Orange Cassidy vs. Hangman Page vs. Jay White (AEW title)
  • MJF (c) vs. Adam Cole (Dynamite Diamond Ring)
  • 2024 AEW Continental Classic League Finals & Championship Finals
  • Mercedes Mone vs. Kris Statlander (TBS title)
  • Mariah May (c) vs. Thunder Rosa in a Tijuana Street Fight (AEW Women’s title)
  • Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs. Powerhouse Hobbs (AEW International title)

Kris Statlander match set for Beyond Wrestling show

Beyond Wrestling has revealed Kris Statlander’s opponent for their New Year’s Eve show.

The AEW star returns to Beyond at Heavy Lies The Crown in Worcester, Massachusetts on Tuesday, December 31. It’s been announced that Statlander will face Bryce Donovan — a WWE ID prospect — at the show. Donovan will be managed by AEW’s Mark Sterling.

Heavy Lies The Crown is taking place from the White Eagle in Worcester and will stream live via IndependentWrestling.TV.

Statlander and Donovan were both trained at the Create A Pro Wrestling Academy, which is owned by Brian Myers and Pat Buck.

Before signing with AEW in 2019, Statlander regularly competed for Beyond Wrestling. She still has infrequent indie matches while with AEW, and this will be her second time wrestling for Beyond in 2024.

In AEW, Statlander is looking to get another shot at TBS Champion Mercedes Mone after coming up short at Full Gear.

Donovan was among the first wrestlers announced for the WWE ID development program. He’s made appearances as an enhancement talent for AEW/ROH in the past.

Former champion’s return part of full AEW Collision lineup

Several new matches are official for Saturday’s AEW Collision which will include the continued comeback of former AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm in addition to Kris Statlander.

After making her surprise return to close Wednesday’s Dynamite, Storm will return for her second straight night of action as she takes on Shazza McKenzie. Storm’s first match since August’s All In is set for Friday’s Rampage against Harley Cameron — the same show where McKenzie will face Deonna Purrazzo.

Past TBS Champion Statlander will return to action for the first time since failing to defeat current champion Mercedes Mone at Full Gear. She will take on Tootie Lynn in Lynn’s first AEW appearance since March 2023.

In an unusual ten-man tag team match, Orange Cassidy will team with The Outrunners, Komander and TNT Champion Daniel Garcia against MxM Collection and all three Premier Athletes.

Here’s the full lineup, taped Thursday in St. Louis, Missouri:

  • Continental Classic Blue league: Kyle Fletcher vs. Mark Briscoe
  • Continental Classic Blue league: Kazuchika Okada vs. The Beast Mortos
  • Tag Team title eliminator: Top Flight (Darius & Dante Martin) vs. Action Andretti & Lio Rush
  • International Women’s Cup qualifier: Willow Nightingale vs. Jamie Hayter
  • Kris Statlander vs. Tootie Lynn
  • Toni Storm vs. Shazza McKenzie
  • Orange Cassidy, The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum), Komander & Daniel Garcia vs. MxM Collection (Mansoor & Mason Madden) & Premier Athletes (Ari Daivari, Josh Woods & Tony Nese)

Mercedes Mone: Kris Statlander match might be second favorite of my career

Mercedes Mone had a great experience facing Kris Statlander for the first time ever.

The two shared the ring in a highly praised match at AEW Full Gear on November 23 with Mone defeating Statlander to remain TBS Champion. In her Mone Mag this week, Mone reflected on the pay-per-view, saying this is one of her favorite matches that she has ever had. Mone said it might rank second, presumably behind Sasha Banks vs. Bayley from NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn in 2015.

“Wow! What an incredible night at AEW Full Gear! I’m still buzzing from the electrifying atmosphere and the unforgettable matches that unfolded, but there’s one moment that has etched itself into my heart and mind — the jaw-dropping showdown between me and Kris Statlander,” Mone wrote. “It might just be my second favorite match of my entire career!”

Mone said she was truly impressed by Statlander. While Mone thinks Willow Nightingale is the heart and soul of the AEW women’s division, she believes that Statlander is the strength.

With how strongly they reacted at Full Gear, the New Jersey crowd gave Mone a moment she’ll never forget.

“The energy in the arena was electric as the bell rang, and I could feel the anticipation build with every second. When the announcement came through, ‘And still…’ with over 10,000 fans on their feet chanting ‘AEW’ it was pure magic. That moment felt like a culmination of everything I’ve worked for, and the roar of the crowd was a symphony of support that I’ll never forget,” she wrote.

“Our match set a new record as the longest women’s match in AEW history, and it was an honor to be part of such a monumental moment. As we went toe-to-toe, the intensity only grew, and I knew we were creating something special in that ring. There’s a certain camaraderie that develops when you share the canvas with someone who brings out the best in you, and I felt that with Kris.”

Mone’s next TBS Championship defense has already been made official. The belt will be on the line when she takes on Anna Jay at AEW Dynamite Holiday Bash on Wednesday, December 18.

AEW star Kris Statlander set for New Year’s Eve indie show

AEW star Kris Statlander is working an indie date this New Year’s Eve.

Beyond Wrestling announced yesterday that Statlander will be in action at the promotion’s Heavy Lies The Crown show on Tuesday, December 31. It’s taking place from the White Eagle in Worcester, Massachusetts and will air live via IndependentWrestling.TV.

An opponent for Statlander has not been named yet.

Based in New England, Beyond Wrestling is a promotion that Statlander regularly appeared for when she was on the indies. She has worked infrequent indie dates while with AEW, including a return to Beyond this March with a victory over Aaron Rourke. That was Statlander’s first match for Beyond since 2020.

Statlander is coming off a highly regarded bout against Mercedes Mone at AEW Full Gear, where she was unable to defeat Mone for the TBS Championship. Statlander is a former TBS Champion with a reign that lasted from May-November 2023.

Beyond Wrestling’s Heavy Lies The Crown has an 8 p.m. start time on New Year’s Eve. Two matches have been announced for the show so far:

  • Fans Bring the Weapons match: Undisputed Independent Wrestling World Champion Krule defends against Marcus Mathers
  • Nick Gage vs. Drew Gulak

Big Boom A.J. appearance part of new additions to AEW Dynamite

Big Boom A.J. will make an appearance on this Wednesday’s Full Gear go-home edition of AEW Dynamite.

The viral social media star known for hanging out with Big Justice and The Rizzler and enjoying double chunk chocolate cookies is preparing for his return to the ring next Saturday against QT Marshall on the pay-per-view pre-show.

Wednesday will also see a bout between former AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida and TBS title challenger Kris Statlander. During Saturday’s Collision, Shida said she wanted a shot at the TBS title if Statlander can defeat incumbent champion Mercedes Mone at Full Gear, leading to Statlander requesting the match for this Wednesday instead.

After lengthy absences, CMLL’s Hechicero, Atlantis Jr., and Mascara Dorada will be in action against opponents to be named. The CMLL contingent’s return was announced Saturday as well.

Here’s the updated lineup for Reading, PA:

  • Orange Cassidy vs. Wheeler Yuta
  • Darby Allin vs. Claudio Castagnoli
  • Will Ospreay, Ricochet, Powerhouse Hobbs & Mark Davis vs. Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, Lance Archer & Brian Cage
  • Big Boom A.J. appearance
  • Kris Statlander vs. Hikaru Shida
  • Hechicero, Atlantis Jr., and Mascara Dorada in action

  • While appearing on This is Wrestling Life, Rob Van Dam reflected on his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. RVD said it was an honor to be inducted, but having the induction happen during the pandemic era was a little disappointing:
    • It was very validating, you know, to be thought of on that Mount Rushmore of wrestlers. That’s something that they can never take away from me now. Like, it felt like I elevated up to a level and now people like yourself refer to me as a Hall of Famer. It’s very prestigious, so I was honored. The fact that it was during COVID and we didn’t have a crowd was kind of disappointing after going to Hall of Fame for so many years and watching the really long speeches. And then they told us to go 3-5 minutes on our speeches after hearing these guys [doing long speeches in the past].
    • The thing about the time and there not being people there, if you’ve seen my speech, then you’ve seen like nine minutes of it, but the whole thing was actually 27 minutes. So I actually went, in theory, maybe like 24 minutes over the three-minute request. I didn’t hear anything when I got back except I said, ‘That was a little long, wasn’t it?’ But I had no idea until I saw the whole thing that it was that long. You’re playing off of somebody turning the volume up and down on a response… I’ll have to get in it again.

AEW/Other Wrestling

  • Kris Statlander gave Ring the Belle the following explanation when asked about her partnership with Stokely Hathaway breaking up:
    • We had a common goal in destroying Willow [Nightingale], and I think we accomplished that. But I think we just didn’t have any sort of, like, we didn’t have any other goals after that. The goal was to take care of her. I think after that, we just kind of decided like, you know what, the job is done. It’s kind of like a handshake and, ‘You helped me. I helped you. We’ll see if our paths cross again in the future or something.’ Then he tried to pass a Spanish quiz and put my [CMLL Women’s] title shot on the line that I rightfully won. He put that on the line without me knowing, lost it. So, not my fault. I also decided to give him a boot for that, because how dare you take my opportunities away from me.
  • Appearing on Stories With Brisco and Bradshaw, Jake Hager discussed his departure from AEW and what’s next for him:
    • It’s interesting. I’m excited to find out (what’s next for me). My contract expired with AEW in June, so I just left them. I’m currently working independents, but I’m 42 and I think it’s time to — I don’t know. I want to find a way to be home more with my kids and so I’m looking into more business opportunities; construction, rental properties and I’d love to sit down with you John (Bradshaw Layfield) and get some pointers about announcing and maybe stay on camera that way. But really, just doing what I can. I had a great career, very blessed to have that career. So, now, it’s kind of easier. The pressure’s off and just try to be a good dad and good example for my kids.

TBS title match, Bobby Lashley vs. Swerve Strickland announced for AEW Full Gear

Two new matches are now set for Full Gear.

Bobby Lashley will meet Swerve Strickland on November 23 following a confrontation that took place between Strickland and The Hurt Syndicate on this week’s Dynamite. MVP cut a promo saying that if you accept a Hurt Syndicate card it will change your life but if you reject it, this is what happens. MVP proceeded to show a video of Lashley’s debut and attack on Strickland last week. Strickland and Prince Nana came out as they were held back by officials. Swerve issued the challenge, with MVP accepting.

On social media, it was confirmed that Mercedes Mone will defend the TBS Championship against Kris Statlander. The two have been feuding since WrestleDream, with things picking up after Statlander defeated Mone’s associate Kamille. On Wednesday, Statlander was accidentally hit by a car that was being driven by Kamille. As Mone angrily told Kamille to check what happened, Statlander quickly recovered and dragged Mone out of the car as the two brawled.

Here’s the current card for Saturday, November 23rd in Newark, New Jersey:

  • AEW World Champion Jon Moxley defends against Orange Cassidy
  • TBS Championship: Mercedes Mone defends against Kris Statlander
  • Jay White vs. Hangman Page
  • Bobby Lashley vs. Swerve Strickland
  • MJF vs. either Adam Page or Roderick Strong
  • Four-way match for AEW Tag Team titles: Private Party defends against three teams TBA
  • Zero Hour: Costco Guy AJ vs. QT Marshall

Kris Statlander vs. Kamille added to AEW Fright Night Dynamite

A new match has been added to Fright Night Dynamite.

The special edition of Dynamite on October 30 will see Kris Statlander take on Mercedes Mone’s associate Kamille. In a promo on Collision, Statlander said she was the strongest woman in AEW and called out Kamille, saying she’s been a pain in her a**. The match was made official later in the show.

Since defeating Willow Nightingale in a street fight at AEW All Out, Kris Statlander has made an about-face, dropping Stokely Hathaway as her manager and has focused on winning back the TBS title from its current holder, Mone. Statlander has blamed Mone for tearing apart her relationship with Nightingale due to Nightingale’s obsession with Mone and the title.

Already announced for Fright Night is Shelton Benjamin taking on Swerve Strickland. MVP has been attempting to recruit Swerve as a new client, but Strickland has shown no interest.

Here is the updated lineup for AEW Fright Night Dynamite:

  • Swerve Strickland vs. Shelton Benjamin
  • Kris Statlander vs. Kamille

AEW Rampage live results: The Conglomeration vs. Undisputed Kingdom

Five matches are set for tonight’s AEW Rampage from Spokane, Washington, including faction warfare between two of AEW’s key stables.

The Conglomeration’s Orange Cassidy & Kyle O’Reilly will team up against The Undisputed Kingdom’s Matt Taven & Mike Bennett in this week’s featured contest. The Conglomeration has been tied up in a feud with The Learning Tree as Mark Briscoe defends his ROH World title against Chris Jericho at Saturday’s WrestleDream.

That feud will continue on the show as Bryan Keith of The Learning Tree goes one-on-one with Rocky Romero after a staredown on Wednesday.

Ahead of his two-of-three falls match with Hologram Saturday, The Beast Mortos of the rebooted LFI will take on The Butcher.

Kris Statlander, who has got TBS Champion Mercedes Mone’s attention, and Lance Archer, now under the leadership of Don Callis, will each be in action against enhancement talent.

The show will be the final stop before Saturday’s pay-per-view.

**********

The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy & Kyle O’Reilly) defeated The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett)

Cassidy and Bennett traded offense until Cassidy’s taunting quickly enraged Bennet. Tagging himself in, Taven hoped to use the Undisputed Kingdom’s combined efforts to stop Cassidy, but that only resulted in a double clothesline to Bennett. O’Reilly tagged himself in so Cassidy could recuperate. Bennet & Taven teamed up on O’Reilly but he outsmarted them.

Cassidy attempted a double-crossbody, which was caught mid-air. O’Reilly saved him and applied a leg and arm hold on Bennett (to which Cassidy politely offered a dainty kick). The pair later kicked Bennett into the turnbuckle, with Cassidy hoping for a pin, broken by the 2-count. After clotheslining each other, Cassidy and Bennett made their tags. Taven had a hot tag, the freshest man in the match. His momentum was thwarted by a Stun-Dog Millionaire and a Rolling Elbow from Cassidy and O’Reilly respectively. Bennett tried a Rolling Elbow of his own and chopped the chest of O’Reilly.

A brawl ensued, with everyone trading their signature strikes and maneuvers. O’Reilly maintained a Guillotine Choke on Bennett while Cassidy fended off Taven. Bennett tapped out, with O’Reilly and Cassidy being the victors.

I don’t typically give The Conglomeration and The Undisputed Kingdom enough credit, but they both put in an excellent opening performance. Poor Bennett though, he got the brunt of the offense. Cassidy seems to be accepting his Conglomeration more, and I’m finally beginning to enjoy them as a team.

Kris Statlander defeated Amira

Starting the match with a vertical suplex powerslam, Statlander swiftly dispatched Amira with a Friday Night Fever and got the 3-count within mere minutes after the bell.

There’s nothing insightful to add other than that Statlander makes just as good a squash wrestler as she is a plunder match and brawler.

– Chris Jericho promo

The Beast Mortos defeated The Butcher

Roderick Strong joined the commentary booth as Mortos’s strength and agility saw him gain the upper hand against Butcher. With a flurry of strikes and dodges, Mortos followed up with a snap-mare, but Butcher managed to swing some momentum his way. Charging after Butcher, Mortos accidentally swung himself over the top rope and spilled to the outside. Slamming Mortos onto the steel steps and fighting dirty, Butcher confidently picked at Mortos in the ring.

The two brutes charged at each other, finally knocking the other down. Mortos aimed for a top rope dive on Butcher, but he evaded, attempting a Jackhammer which resulted a 2-count. Mortos found that another top rope move would be a benefit after he performed a flying headbutt on a horizontal-prone Butcher for the win.

A nice hoss match. Thankfully this wasn’t some sort of squash that would typically make Butcher look like a complete geek. He put on a great performance against Mortos and I’d love to see more between them.

– Harley Cameron promo

“The Murderhawk” Lance Archer defeated Matt Brannigan

Brannigan flexed confidently to Archer, who bravely pushed him to a nearby corner. Imploring Brannigan to hit him back, Archer delivered a lariat. Throwing himself at Brannigan back in the corner three times, Archer flipped him over to another corner in a blink-and-miss-it moment.

Clutching Brannigan from the top rope, Archer courageously sent his opponent to the mat with a Blackout and got the 3-count pin.

Yet another good squash match. Hopefully, the newly active Archer will find more dynamic and heart-stopping matches soon.

– Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Los Faccion Ingobernables promo

Bryan Keith defeated Rocky Romero

An irate Romero overwhelmed Keith, leaving him no room to find an opening. Romero, seeking a Hurricanrana on the steps, was countered by Keith with an Exploder on the floor outside the ring. Using referee Aubrey Edwards as a shield, Keith applied a hold which Romero spiritedly pushed against. Reinvigorated through adrenaline, Romero’s goals were dashed by a knee after an unsuccessful double-underhook for a 2-count.

Battling on the top rope, Romero sent himself and Keith flying onto the mat, but Keith escaped to the outside. Dragging him back in, Romero became victim to a blindsided attack by Big Bill. Keith finished the match with a Diamond Dust.

– Post-match, The Conglomeration entered the ring to fend off Bryan Keith and Big Bill as the show went off the air.

Romero made for an enthralling foil to Keith’s underhanded tactics that kept me hooked. I knew he’d lose, but that’s a testament to his tenured experience and Keith’s unique writing style—a small man fighting like a big man. Funny how Big Bill and Bryan Keith’s work outside of Chris Jericho’s 2024 presence make for an exciting experience.

Mixed tag team match official for AEW All In Zero Hour

A mixed tag team match is set for Wembley Stadium.

It was made official during AEW Collision that Willow Nightingale will team with Tomohiro Ishii to take on Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway. This came following an in-ring segment that took place Saturday.

After video was shown of Willow Nightingale telling Tomohiro Ishii she had a plan for Wembley Stadium, Lexy Nair announced to Statlander and Hathaway in the ring that Nightingale had issued a mixed tag team challenge for All In’s Zero Hour. Hathaway started to say there was no way he’d do that, but Statlander cut him off and accepted the match for August 25.

Nightingale and Statlander have been feuding since the events of Double or Nothing, when Statlander turned on her former friend. On the July 31 edition of AEW Dynamite, Stalander defeated Nightingale in what was a CMLL Women’s Championship eliminator match, meaning Statlander has earned a future shot at Nightingale’s title.

Here’s the updated card for Sunday, August 25th in London:

  • AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland defends against Bryan Danielson
  • AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm defends against Mariah May
  • AEW American Champion MJF defends against Will Ospreay
  • TNT Champion Jack Perry defends against Darby Allin
  • TBS Champion Mercedes Mone defends against Britt Baker
  • Casino gauntlet match for future AEW World title match
  • AEW Trios Champions The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Nick Wayne & Killswitch) defend against either House of Black or Bang Bang Gang
  • Zero Hour: Willow Nightingale & Tomohiro Ishii vs. Kris Statlander & Stokely Hathaway

Kris Statlander earns future CMLL Women’s title shot on AEW Dynamite

Image: AEW

The next challenger for the CMLL Women’s title is now official after Kris Statlander’s victory over current champion Willow Nightingale on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.

Statlander won a title eliminator bout, giving her the next crack at her former friend and reigning champion. The date for the match has yet to be announced.

As the referee was distracted, the former TBS Champion won the match after hitting Nightingale with her arm wrapped in a chain, knocking her out cold. After the match, Statlander continued her attack by nailing Nightingale with several chair shots.

It’s the latest development in a feud that has simmered since May’s Double or Nothing when Statlander turned on Nightingale minutes after losing her own TBS title to Mercedes Mone.

Nightingale is just a few weeks into her first CMLL title reign after winning the vacant gold in a three-way while Statlander is looking for her first run with the title.

The two are 2-2 against each other in AEW singles matches.
