AEW star set to replace MJF at weekend indie show

With AEW World Champion MJF having to pull out of a Friday indie match due to a knee injury, another AEW star is stepping up to take his place.

First reported by Justin Barrasso, Andrade El Idolo will now face Bobby Orlando at Beyond Wrestling’s event in Cranston, Rhode Island. It will be the the IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion’s first appearance for the promotion.

MJF hyperextended his knee in Wednesday’s title defense against Rush and is currently not cleared to travel or wrestle.

Andrade joins Wheeler Yuta and Lio Rush as new additions to the show since the news in addition to TNA also making travel changes in order for Bear Bronson to appear as well. The show, which is airing live on IWTV, will also feature AEW’s Megan Bayne against indie standout Gabby Forza.

Beyond Wrestling founder Drew Cordeiro told Barrasso they even had “people in WWE exploring options as well.”

“My heart swells with pride that so many people within the wrestling industry care about Beyond Wrestling and our fans. To me, independent wrestling doesn’t mean avoiding all of the biggest companies — it means pulling out all the stops to navigate the different dynamics to give this Cranston crowd the best possible show,” he said.

Big E WWE

WWE

  • Big E will be delivering a TEDx Talk in Davenport, Iowa on August 12:
    • Excited to announce that I’ll be delivering a @tedx_official talk in Davenport, IA, on August 12 at @thelastpichouse!
    • ‘How I Got Over’
    • Sharing my struggles with major depressive disorder and psychosis, and my eventual healing through medication, hospitalization, ECTs, talk therapy, and mindfulness/meditation.
  • On Insight with Chris Van Vliet, LA Knight shared that – during his brief time as Max Dupri – Vince McMahon would always tell him that he needed to speak softer:
    • Vince told me before, ‘You gotta talk soft, I don’t want you to say or do any of the things that you used to do, none of that, whatever.’ If I’m honest though, he wasn’t familiar with any of it. He didn’t know LA Knight. I think he was told a little bit…
    • That first day of introducing the Models and we’re doing the little rehearsal thing talk-through. And he comes down and he’s like, ‘I need you to talk softer.’ And I’m like, okay, well, I’m thinking like, you had me talking soft in the backstage, but like now I’m doing a presentation. I need to be a little bigger, right? To present to the people. But it’s his show. Sure. And he goes, ‘Just read me a line from there as softly as you can.’ He’s like, ‘I don’t think you can be effeminate, but try and be effeminate without being effeminate.’ What?
  • Knight said the initial impression he was given for the Dupri character was that he would take a similar trajectory to Roddy Piper in WWE, starting out as a manager before wrestling full time:
    • The bill of goods that was sold to me there was that I was going to be kind of a Roddy Piper. In the sense of when Roddy first came in, he was like a manager, a mouthpiece that then sometimes wrestled, and then eventually just became a full-time wrestler. That was kind of how it was painted to me.
    • There were some other details in there that made me think like, ‘Okay, this could be okay.’ Then it started going in directions where I was like, this is going to be awful. This is going to be pigeon-holed. We’re stuck. We’re never going to get above a certain trajectory.
  • Becky Lynch discussed her friendship with Je’Von Evans:
    • We’ve got Je’Von Evans who’s 21. He’s younger than my wrestling career. He calls me ‘mom,’ because I’m old enough to be his mom. But then I’m so proud of him. I’m like, ‘Oh son, look at you, look at you out there main eventing Elimination Chamber.’ And I just think he’s the coolest. I think he’s so awesome. Like the confidence that he has and the ability that he has and his promo, everything. I’m like, this kid’s a star.
  • Nattie praised Undertaker and Jeremy Borash for the work they’re doing behind the scenes in Lucha Libre AAA:
    • I will say that Taker and Jeremy Borash – Jeremy Borash, he works alongside Taker at AAA. A lot of people know JB as being somebody that puts together the most amazing video packages in WWE. He puts together, if you see some of the best video packages in the company, usually JB is behind a lot of them.
    • And so to see what Taker, who by the way – Taker is not known for being a luchador. When you see what Undertaker has built in just the last six months of booking at AAA alongside Jeremy Borash and, of course, the people that had been in place in Triple A that work with them. Taker is very, very collaborative.
    • I’m just blown away. Like, I think that Taker has really stepped into this new role and he is proving why his influence past the ring may be one of his greatest accomplishments.
  • WWE Hall of Famer Typhoon (Fred Ottman), who is still working through the rehab process after spending approximately a month in the hospital earlier this year when his gallbladder “exploded,” is getting ready to head back on the road for signings. His first booking is in North Carolina on July 25.
  • Sol Ruca was the guest on No-Contest Wrestling this week.
  • WWE Vault uploaded an Ultimate Warrior & Strikeforce vs. Demolition & Mr. Fuji match from the Boston Garden in 1988.

Other Wrestling

  • Rebel thanked The Young Bucks – and Matt Jackson’s wife Dana Massie – for donating their YouTube live stream proceeds from last night to her ALS fundraiser:
    • BIG thank you to you guys and Dana. My heart is filled and I am truly grateful for your prayers
  • On the stream, Matt Jackson responded to someone who said they’d like to see The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows) back in AEW:
    • I would love to do that, trust me. I may have tried to do that recently. They’re killing it right now. They’re so busy on the indies
  • Though MJF is unable to appear due to injury, Wheeler Yuta and Lio Rush have been added to Beyond Wrestling’s show in Cranston, Rhode Island this Friday night.
  • Indie promotion F1RST Wrestling will hold its annual Mall of America event on July 31 in Bloomington, Minnesota.
  • Uncrowned FIlms put together a 13-minute video on Brodie Lee Jr.’s debut at Spring Break.
  • Jonathan Gresham shared his thoughts ahead of competing in GCW’s Tournament of Survival this weekend:
    • If you had told me years ago that I’d willingly enter a deathmatch tournament, I probably would have laughed. But after returning to the ring, something changed. I felt blessed simply to be here again. Blessed to compete. Blessed to learn. Blessed to experience this life through professional wrestling.
    • That feeling opened a door in my mind.
    • I no longer want to see only one side of this art form—I want to experience all of it. Every style. Every challenge. Every lesson hidden behind a different set of ropes. Professional wrestling is a vast world, and I want to walk every path it offers.
    • So this is my next step.
    • Deathmatch wrestling.
    • I look forward to testing myself, embracing the unknown, and carrying the spirit of pure wrestling and MAG with me into an environment where it rarely exists. Different roads. Different philosophies. Same pursuit of growth.
    • As always, I am a student of the game.
    • And this weekend, the classroom just happens to be a tournament of survival.
    • With the fire and spirit of the originals, I am the foundation.

AEW World Champion MJF pulled from indie show due to injury

AEW World Champion MJF will no longer be making his scheduled appearance for Beyond Wrestling this Friday night.

It was supposed to be MJF vs. Bobby Orlando at the indie promotion’s event in Cranston, Rhode Island on June 5. However, Beyond sent out an announcement this morning saying MJF suffered a hyperextended knee on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite and won’t be able to travel or compete in time for the show.

“Unfortunately @The_MJF hyperextended his knee during his match last night & is not medically cleared to travel or compete,” Beyond wrote. “He will not be in Cranston tomorrow night but assured me he will wrestle for Beyond Wrestling as soon as his schedule allows. We wish him a speedy recovery.”

To prove himself as a traveling champion, MJF started to take more indie bookings during his second reign with the AEW World title. He is now on his third reign after regaining the belt from Darby Allin — and this Beyond show was likely going to be MJF’s last indie booking in the United States for an “extraordinarily long time.” He still plans on making up the date despite that.

MJF retained over Rush on AEW Dynamite —

There is no word on the severity of MJF’s knee hyperextension or if he’ll be missing any shows past this one. On Dynamite last night, he defeated Rush to retain the AEW World Championship. The show also furthered the build to an upcoming title bout between MJF and Mark Briscoe.

AEW stars MJF, Brody King announced for upcoming indie dates

AEW wrestlers MJF and Brody King have each been announced for upcoming indie dates.

– Beyond Wrestling has revealed that MJF will return to the promotion for the first time since 2019. He’s set to appear at Beyond’s Break the Walls Down event that’s being held in Cranston, Rhode Island on June 5.

– King’s booking is for House of Glory Wrestling in Las Vegas on April 16. The show — titled Culture Clash — is taking place on the Thursday of WrestleMania week as part of Slam Fest, a multi-promotional event that’s being put on by Mojo Rawly’s talent agency Paragon Talent Group. Matt & Jeff Hardy are among the other wrestlers set to compete on the House of Glory card.

Opponents have not been announced yet for either MJF or King.

MJF is the current AEW World Champion. He’s taken to working some indie dates during his reign, already having matches against Alec Price for Limitless Wrestling and Zilla Fatu for House of Glory. MJF’s schedule also includes an appearance for One Fall Wrestling in McDonough, Georgia on March 26.

A World title feud between MJF and King recently took place in AEW with MJF retaining at Grand Slam Australia. MJF is now set to defend against Hangman Page in a Texas Death match at AEW Revolution 2026 on March 15.

Jonathan Gresham feeling ‘100 percent,’ ready to return after two strokes

Jonathan Gresham is in a good place physically as he prepares to step back into the ring.

After more than six months out of action, Gresham will have his return match tonight (January 23) when he faces off against Ryan Clancy for Beyond Wrestling. Gresham went through a scary medical ordeal when he suffered two strokes in 2025, which were believed to be complications from a bad case of COVID-19, but he is now ready to resume his career.

“Everybody already knows I had two strokes,” Gresham told Undisputed ahead of tonight’s match. “They were Covid-related strokes. Now I’m fully ready to go. I’m 100 percent and I’m off to the races.”

Gresham has competed for TNA Wrestling, ROH, and AEW in the past but has been a free agent since early 2025. He told Undisputed that, on the indies, he is looking to give younger wrestlers the opportunity to face someone who is more experienced than them.

“Beyond did so much for me,” said Gresham. “It gave me a platform to show the world what I could do. It’s only fitting to come back and give young individuals the opportunity to wrestle people more experienced than them on a big stage.”

Gresham has also begun taking other indie bookings, including Superpower Slam (presented by Orange Crush & GCW) on February 1 and the Jersey J-Cup (GCW & JCW) on February 6-7.

Arts at the Armory in Somerville, Massachusetts is hosting tonight’s Beyond show. It will be broadcast live on IndependentWrestling.TV.

AEW’s Eddie Kingston announced for indie show

Now back in action after spending more than a year sidelined due to injury, AEW star Eddie Kingston has been announced for a new independent date.

Kingston will appear for Beyond Wrestling at its Novembercanrana show in Cranston, Rhode Island on Friday, November 14. His opponent for the show has not been named yet. Donovan Dijak, Shotzi Blackheart, Bear Bronson, and Mads Krule Krugger are among the other wrestlers set to compete.

The event will stream live via IndependentWrestling.TV.

In May 2024, Kingston suffered a broken leg and torn ACL that resulted in a difficult recovery process both mentally and physically. His return match took place at AEW All Out last weekend with Kingston getting the victory over Big Bill. Kingston has formed a new alliance with Hook in his return to AEW.

This is Kingston’s first indie match since early 2024. He last competed for Beyond in 2022.

Novembercanrana is a fall version of Beyond Wrestling’s Americanrana, which is traditionally the promotion’s biggest show of the year. The 2025 version of Americanrana took place at the end of August.

Rhodes on the Pawtuxet in Cranston will be the venue for the show.

Former EVOLVE wrestler Jaka passes away at 39 years old

Jonathan Echevarria, an independent wrestler who worked for many promotions including Beyond Wrestling and EVOLVE under the name Jaka, has passed away.

Beyond was the first to confirm the news, writing: “The original Ace. RIP Jaka.”

On Thursday, Jaka’s family announced that the 39 year old was in the intensive care unit and in critical condition after suffering a heart attack. A GoFundMe was launched shortly thereafter to cover medical expenses.

“Jonathan is the kind of person who brings laughter and energy wherever he goes—a fun, lovable pain in the butt who means the world to us,” his sister Annette wrote at the time. “Seeing him in this state has been incredibly difficult, but we are staying strong for him and for each other.”

Jaka made his pro wrestling debut in 2007 and wrestled for various promotions including FIP, Chikara, CZW, Wrestling is Fun, and GCW. He is a former EVOLVE Tag Team Champion with Chris Dickinson. In Beyond Wrestling, he was part of Team Pazuzu with Mike Santana and Ortiz. He also worked an episode of AEW Dark: Elevation in 2021 and had a match during WWE’s WrestleMania Axxess event in 2018.

Kris Statlander match set for Beyond Wrestling show

Beyond Wrestling has revealed Kris Statlander’s opponent for their New Year’s Eve show.

The AEW star returns to Beyond at Heavy Lies The Crown in Worcester, Massachusetts on Tuesday, December 31. It’s been announced that Statlander will face Bryce Donovan — a WWE ID prospect — at the show. Donovan will be managed by AEW’s Mark Sterling.

Heavy Lies The Crown is taking place from the White Eagle in Worcester and will stream live via IndependentWrestling.TV.

Statlander and Donovan were both trained at the Create A Pro Wrestling Academy, which is owned by Brian Myers and Pat Buck.

Before signing with AEW in 2019, Statlander regularly competed for Beyond Wrestling. She still has infrequent indie matches while with AEW, and this will be her second time wrestling for Beyond in 2024.

In AEW, Statlander is looking to get another shot at TBS Champion Mercedes Mone after coming up short at Full Gear.

Donovan was among the first wrestlers announced for the WWE ID development program. He’s made appearances as an enhancement talent for AEW/ROH in the past.

AEW star Kris Statlander set for New Year’s Eve indie show

AEW star Kris Statlander is working an indie date this New Year’s Eve.

Beyond Wrestling announced yesterday that Statlander will be in action at the promotion’s Heavy Lies The Crown show on Tuesday, December 31. It’s taking place from the White Eagle in Worcester, Massachusetts and will air live via IndependentWrestling.TV.

An opponent for Statlander has not been named yet.

Based in New England, Beyond Wrestling is a promotion that Statlander regularly appeared for when she was on the indies. She has worked infrequent indie dates while with AEW, including a return to Beyond this March with a victory over Aaron Rourke. That was Statlander’s first match for Beyond since 2020.

Statlander is coming off a highly regarded bout against Mercedes Mone at AEW Full Gear, where she was unable to defeat Mone for the TBS Championship. Statlander is a former TBS Champion with a reign that lasted from May-November 2023.

Beyond Wrestling’s Heavy Lies The Crown has an 8 p.m. start time on New Year’s Eve. Two matches have been announced for the show so far:

  • Fans Bring the Weapons match: Undisputed Independent Wrestling World Champion Krule defends against Marcus Mathers
  • Nick Gage vs. Drew Gulak

Dijak set for first post-WWE indie match

On the Fourth of July, Dijak will wrestle his first match since departing WWE.

Beyond Wrestling has announced that Dijak will return to the promotion at Americanrana 2024 in Worcester, Massachusetts this Thursday. He’s facing Aaron Rourke at the event. It’s the first time Dijak has wrestled for Beyond since 2017.

Dijak posted a letter on social media last week revealing that he would be departing WWE when his contract expired on June 28. In the letter, Dijak said WWE “stonewalled” him during attempted contract negotiations, never making a single offer. He was informed at the eleventh hour that his contract would not be renewed.

Despite being called up in the 2024 WWE Draft, Dijak never wrestled on Raw after joining the show’s roster. He had one match on Main Event and one match on WWE Speed after the draft. Dijak said there had been plans for him to feud for the NXT Championship, but he was called up to Raw instead.

Though this will be his first post-WWE match, Dijak did make a surprise appearance for Blitzkrieg Pro over the weekend. Revolution Pro Wrestling and Prestige Wrestling have both announced Dijak for future events.

Beyond Wrestling was one of Dijak’s home promotions on the Northeast indies before he signed with WWE. He’s back to using “Donovan Dijak” as his wrestling name, which is the name he previously went by on the indies and in Ring of Honor.

Americanrana 2024 is taking place from White Eagle hall in Worcester.

Beyond Wrestling indefinitely suspends executive producer due to code of conduct violation

A popular independent promotion out of Worcester, Massachusetts has indefinitely suspended its executive producer.

Beyond Wrestling released a statement on Thursday that Jon Roy is being suspended as a result of breaching the promotion’s code of conduct regarding derogatory language. A user on X posted a screenshot of the alleged comment, where Roy wrote “For the first time in years, that ugly bald guy in a dress won’t be ruining my hardcam shot” in response to a post promoting Beyond Wrestling’s show tonight.

Roy responded to the screenshot, writing “It’s ok I got fired for it.”

https://twitter.com/RealShortname/status/1798748215229268304

Beyond Wrestling wrote on Thursday:

“Effective immediately I have indefinitely suspended our executive producer Jon Roy. Our code of conduct states derogatory language will not be tolerated. I’ll address this further when my schedule allows.”

Roy then responded:

https://twitter.com/RealShortname/status/1798753420654084547

Roy has since issued an apology to the fan he referred to as well as others impacted by his comments. He noted that he did not mean for his comment to be transphobic but understands that is how it came across.

“I made an inappropriate joke at the expense of someone who didn’t deserve it. It wasn’t meant to be transphobic but there’s no arguing that’s how it came across, and hurt people that I didn’t mean to hurt. No excuse. I don’t hate people for who they are…”

“But when something I’ve worked so hard to build up is being attacked over things not in my control, it hurts, and I retaliated unjustly. For everyone that’s blocked me, that’s fine, I get it. Continue to shit on me, I get that too.”

“All I ask is that you continue to support the wrestlers who work hard every week. What I did was wrong, but never take things out on the company as a whole because you’re only harming the ones who depend on that income.”

“So on a personal note to Ry ncrypted, I’m sorry. You’ve done nothing wrong to me. I’m not expecting forgiveness. To the ones threatening violence, congratulations, you’ve done nothing.”

“To the ones messaging me with concern because they know this isn’t who I am, thank you.”

Drew Gulak announced for first post-WWE indie appearance

Following his departure from WWE, Drew Gulak is returning to the indies.

Beyond Wrestling has announced Gulak for its Americanrana ’24 event that’s taking place in Worcester, Massachusetts on Thursday, July 4. It’s the first appearance Gulak has been confirmed for since WWE chose not to renew his contract.

It was initially reported last month that Gulak was released by WWE in a round of NXT roster cuts. When asked about Gulak’s status at a press conference in France after WWE Backlash, Paul “Triple H” Levesque confirmed that Gulak was gone from the company but said that Gulak was not released — his contract “was just not renewed.”

Levesque didn’t address if Gulak’s departure had anything to do with the allegation that had been made against him by Ronda Rousey. During an April appearance on NewsNation, Rousey discussed a backstage incident that occurred in 2022 where Gulak pulled on the string of her sweatpants. Gulak then issued a statement responding to Rousey. He claimed that the incident was a “complete accident” where he went to shake Rousey’s hand and accidentally touched her drawstring.

Gulak had been with WWE since 2016. Before signing with WWE, Beyond Wrestling was among the indie promotions that he regularly appeared for.

Beyond Wrestling has yet to announced Gulak’s opponent for Americanrana. The show will stream live on IndependentWrestling.TV.

LuFisto, Jonathan Gresham pull out of Beyond Wrestling show

LuFisto and Jonathan Gresham are both off Beyond Wrestling’s upcoming show but for very different reasons.

The promotion released a statement on Monday that Gresham is injured and will miss the show on 8/13 in Worcester. He was injured during training and will be out for four to six weeks.

Impact Wrestling has yet to comment on Gresham’s status for upcoming shows in Philadelphia and Toronto later this month.

LuFisto will also miss Sunday’s show but her situation is quite different. She has been the center of controversy recently after making several comments critical of AEW’s women’s division.

After a fan’s sign reading “Book Women’s Division Better” was shown on AEW Dynamite last week, LuFisto wrote on Twitter:

“It’s cute how people blame booking for a bad women’s division. Talent with too much power; talent denigrating each other; talent trash-talking potential employees so they never get in as soon as they walk in…It starts here. – The one you called FN French Canadian asshole,” she wrote. (LuFisto has since deleted her Twitter/X).

She was again critical of the company earlier this week during an interview with Fightful. She recounted her experience backstage during her lone AEW appearance on the 4/6 show in Boston, this time specifically mentioning Ruby Soho and Dustin Rhodes as those she took issue with.

Several members of the AEW roster responded to LuFisto’s comments over the weekend, with MJF writing:

If you listen to miserable people who never made it in this sport that’s not exactly the brightest thing to do. Use your brain. If someone’s been in professional wrestling for over a decade and you find them to be talented but they’ve never truly “panned out” there’s a reason for it. 1. Lack of talent. 2. Difficulty to work with. 3. Delusional Just to name a few. People love to talk ill of companies and will say things like “I’m the only person who’s brave enough to speak up.” When in reality the only reason you’re spewing bullshit is because you are aware deep down you aren’t going to make it so what’s the harm in spewing reckless lies and trying to hurt hard working talented people on your way down to obscurity. We have an amazing women’s locker room. Sorry not sorry.

Beyond Wrestling confirmed on Saturday that LuFisto has pulled out of its upcoming show:

On Sunday, LuFisto posted the following comments on Instagram:

For 26 years, I did everything I could so that the women wrestling environment wouldn’t be so damaging as it was for me.

Fights with wrestlers, fights with promoters, fights with the government, fights with fans… I was a problem child to many as I was seeking for change, truth and respect.

My “career” was a series of trials and errors as I had to learn most of it on the job while dealing with physical, sexual and mental abuse. I was so determined to be taken seriously and be respected as an equal athlete that I accepted things no human being should.

I’m not perfect but I did my best.

Today, because I set out to fight for women’s wrestling again, with my own story but also with what was confided in me, I have nothing left. There is no more legacy.

I called out a system where many women said they were miserable and I shared my own experience. Everyone wanted “names” but when it turned out to be someone you should not mention, everyone followed the PR memo and did everything they could to kill any credibility I had left.

Wrestlers so desperate for a job or a push, that I wrestled when no one else would, that I always showed respect to but also ones who already hated me to the point where they kept laughing at the fact that I had almost killed myself at Shimmer 83 on that terrible moonsault to the outside, made sure to add more fuel to the fire.

Just like a woman wearing revealing clothes that gets raped, I brought this upon myself, many say.

When confronted with the truth and not accepting that sometimes, a “nice” person is only nice to those who can benefit her and will throw under the bus anyone or anything that could stand in her way, they all got together to make sure people would know how terrible of a person I am, a piece of shit human being and that I had absolutely no credibility.

The legacy they are leaving me with is the one of a terrible wrestler that thought she was good.

An indie lifer who never elevated anyone and was just a selfish and narcissist prick.

I was a always a problem backstage, always complained about my booking, never delivered.

I am bitter, old and ugly.

I am a liar because, unlike speaking out, I’m standing there alone with no one backing me up.

I was never signed because I make up stories and no one actually talked or wrote to me. I imagined all that. I’m delusional.

I never wanted to make women’s wrestling better.

26 years of enduring bullshit and talking for others for this.

The harassment is not stopping. They set out what they planned to do yesterday and they will all party tonight at the tapings like there was never a problem there… They are on TV and I never will so, they are right. I’m wrong.

Who cares anyway? It’s just the failure. Who? Yeah, who the fuck is LuFisto?

Nobody. Nothing.

26 years.

26 years.

AEW, ROH wrestlers pulled from Beyond Wrestling event

Update —

After initially stating that Willow Nightingale would no longer be appearing, Beyond Wrestling has announced that Nightingale will still be in action at Perfection or Vanity.

**********

Due to an apparent conflict with ROH television tapings, three wrestlers have been pulled from an upcoming Beyond Wrestling event.

Beyond Wrestling announced today that Wheeler Yuta, Tracy Williams, and Trish Adora will no longer be appearing at their Perfection or Vanity show in Worcester, Massachusetts on Sunday, February 26. Voices of Wrestling and Fightful have reported that ROH is scheduled to hold TV tapings that weekend.

“Wheeler YUTA, Tracy Williams, and Trish Adora will no longer be appearing or competing at ‘Perfection Or Vanity’ on Sunday, 2/26 at White Eagle in Worcester,” Beyond Wrestling tweeted. “Email [email protected] if you’d like a refund.”

Yuta is signed to AEW and is part of the Blackpool Combat Club with Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, and Claudio Castagnoli. Williams and Adora, who were both part of the ROH roster prior to the promotion being purchased by Tony Khan, have made appearances for AEW as well.

Adora was also in action at ROH Final Battle this past December, losing to Nightingale on the pre-show.

Yuta currently holds the ROH Pure Championship. He regained the title by defeating Daniel Garcia at Final Battle.

It was announced in December that a weekly ROH TV series would be coming to HonorClub, though no start date was given. These tapings at the end of February would be the first for the weekly series.

ROH’s next pay-per-view is Supercard of Honor 2023, which is taking place in Los Angeles on Friday, March 31.

Left My Wallet: Biff Busick/Oney Lorcan on WWE NXT experience, working with Shawn Michaels

Left My Wallet returns with an hour-long conversation with Biff Busick, the former Oney Lorcan in WWE NXT.

Biff and I go back to before he even had his first match so we talk about him coming up through the New England indie scene, the first time we met, training with both Lance Storm and Funaki, getting kicked out of a WWE tv taping, who he learned the most from in NXT, reviewing matches with Shawn Michaels, and his return match for his home promotion, Beyond Wrestling.

We also talk the subtleties and aspects of in-ring working and how great Kane was to work with.

Biff is one of the most intense and fun workers I have ever had the privilege to work with and it was just as fun to talk with him here. He is a name you will be seeing everywhere, so enjoy this fun conversation with one of the best unsigned (but maybe not for long) talents today.
