Three-way Knockouts title match part of new additions to TNA Sacrifice

A three-way Knockouts title match is now official for next Friday’s TNA Sacrifice streaming special as Arianna Grace will defend against former champion Lei Ying Lee and Dani Luna.

The bout was announced during this week’s Thursday Night Impact following an argument between Santino Marella and Daria Rae as former champion Lee demanded a rematch against Grace while Luna was still owed a title shot from Genesis. Later on the show, Luna and Grace defeated Lee and Xia Brookside in a tag team match.

Lee’s 87-day title run ended at the hands of Grace at February’s No Surrender. It will be Grace’s second title defense while Luna is looking for her first Knockouts title run.

Two other matches were also announced Thursday based on developments on the show.

In one, Mustafa Ali and Tasha Steelz will take on Trey Miguel and Jada Stone after Miguel came out to prevent the Order 4 members from attacking Stone following her loss to Elayna Black.

In the other, Elijah and Home Town Man will battle Frankie Kazarian and AJ Francis. HTM defeated Kazarian Thursday, leading to an attack by Francis and a save by Elijah.

Two title matches set for next WWE NXT

Two title matches are set for Tuesday’s NXT.

The TNA Knockouts title will be on the line when Kelani Jordan squares off against Jordynne Grace. The two had a confrontation at Halloween Havoc, trading insults back and forth before Grace said she wanted to challenge for the title next. Jordan responded by saying the title carries way more weight than her. Grace slapped Jordan, who reacted by telling Grace that she’ll regret that.

Kendal Grey will be defending the Evolve Women’s title against Lash Legend. After the two exchanged words on Tuesday, they did so again at Halloween Havoc, this time with Lash issuing a challenge. Grey agreed to a title match for Tuesday.

Former members of the NQCC will meet when Myles Borne takes on Tavion Heights. After both shared their gripes about their recent issues with Josh Briggs with Ava, the NXT GM suggested the two face off on Tuesday.

Here is the update lineup for Tuesday’s NXT:

WWE NXT (October 28)

  • TNA Knockouts title: Kelani Jordan defends against Jordynne Grace
  • WWE Evolve Women’s title: Kendal Grey defends against Lash Legend
  • Men’s Speed Tournament finals: Jasper Troy vs. Axiom
  • Tavion Heights vs. Myles Borne

NXT star wins title at TNA Victory Road

An NXT wrestler once again holds TNA gold.

In a surprise twist at TNA Victory Road on Friday, Kelani Jordan emerged as the new Knockouts Champion, defeating Lei Ying Lee in a surprise match for the vacant title. The finish had Lei scoring a visual pinfall on Jordan but the special referee, Indi Hartwell, was knocked out. Once Hartwell came to, Jordan made a comeback, hit a stunner, then pinned Lee with the one of a kind moonsault.

It was then confirmed that Jordan would defend the title against Hartwell at next month’s Bound for Glory.

Earlier in the night, Knockouts Champion Ash by Elegance announced that she was unable to compete and as a result, had to vacate the TNA Knockouts title. A battle royal was immediately held after the announcement, with Jordan and Lei emerging as the final two entrants in the ring. As a result, they advanced to the title match.

Originally, Ash was set to defend the Knockouts title against Masha Slamovich, with Hartwell as the special guest referee. After Slamovich’s domestic abuse allegations emerged, she was pulled from the card and instead it was pushed that Ash would have an announcement at the show.

Ash by Elegance stepping away from in-ring competition, TNA Knockouts title vacated

The TNA Knockouts title has been vacated.

Ash By Elegance came to the ring during Friday’s Victory Road event on TNA+ and cut a promo saying that that she is no longer able to compete. As a result, she announced that she would be stepping away from in-ring competition and forfeited the TNA Knockouts title. An emotional Ash then handed the title to TNA President Carlos Silva and hugged him and Santino Marella as she made her exit.

Marella then announced that the planned Knockouts Tag Team title match at Victory Road would be moved to this Thursday’s Impact as a battle royal would take place on Friday to crown a new Knockouts Champion. NXT’s Kelani Jordan and Lei Ying Lee won the battle royal, advancing to a match later in the show to crown the new champion.

Originally, Ash by Elegance was set to defend the title against Masha Slamovich at Victory Road. However, any mention of Slamovich was removed in the week leading to Friday’s event due to allegations of domestic abuse. It was later revealed that Ash by Elegance would have an announcement to make at Victory Road.

Ash, 36, began wrestling in 2014 at the WWE Performance Center and competed in NXT and later WWE under the name Dana Brooke. After a long tenure with the company, she was released from WWE in September of 2023 and joined TNA the following February, forming the Elegrance brand with the Personal Concierge, Heather by Elegance, and M by Elegance. She won the TNA Knockouts title in a three-way involving champion Jacy Jayne and Slamovich back at NXT’s Heatwave event earlier this summer.
