TNA Victory Road notes: Knockouts Tag Team title match moved, new champion crowned

Here are some notes from Friday’s TNA Victory Road event.

Along with a new TNA Knockouts Champion, a new International Champion was crowned on Friday.

Frankie Kazarian emerged as the new champion after Steve Maclin was distracted by AAA’s El Mesias, who appeared at ringside. Maclin took out Mesias with a dive, but immediately got back up. That gave Kazarian an opening, kicking the ropes as Maclin was re-entering the ring then followed up with a slingshot cutter to become the new International Champion.

Earlier in the night, Mustafa Ali faced off against Moose, with the winner’s team getting the advantage in the upcoming Hardcore War bout at Bound for Glory next month. The finish came when the belly dancers for Ali’s entrance surrounded the ring. One of them snuck up from behind and low blowed Moose, allowing Ali to hit the 450 splash for the win, giving his team the advantage heading into Bound for Glory.

Originally, the Elegance Brand (Heather & M by Elegance) were set to defend the Knockouts Tag Team titles against The Inspiration on Friday. However, after Ash by Elegance announced she would have to step away from in-ring competition and vacate the Knockouts title, Santino Marella announced the Knockouts Tag Team title match would be moved to this Thursday’s Impact Wrestling.

A battle royal took place instead, with Kelani Jordan and Lei Ying Lee qualifying for the title match later in the night, with Jordan becoming the new champion.

NXT star wins title at TNA Victory Road

An NXT wrestler once again holds TNA gold.

In a surprise twist at TNA Victory Road on Friday, Kelani Jordan emerged as the new Knockouts Champion, defeating Lei Ying Lee in a surprise match for the vacant title. The finish had Lei scoring a visual pinfall on Jordan but the special referee, Indi Hartwell, was knocked out. Once Hartwell came to, Jordan made a comeback, hit a stunner, then pinned Lee with the one of a kind moonsault.

It was then confirmed that Jordan would defend the title against Hartwell at next month’s Bound for Glory.

Earlier in the night, Knockouts Champion Ash by Elegance announced that she was unable to compete and as a result, had to vacate the TNA Knockouts title. A battle royal was immediately held after the announcement, with Jordan and Lei emerging as the final two entrants in the ring. As a result, they advanced to the title match.

Originally, Ash was set to defend the Knockouts title against Masha Slamovich, with Hartwell as the special guest referee. After Slamovich’s domestic abuse allegations emerged, she was pulled from the card and instead it was pushed that Ash would have an announcement at the show.

Ash by Elegance stepping away from in-ring competition, TNA Knockouts title vacated

The TNA Knockouts title has been vacated.

Ash By Elegance came to the ring during Friday’s Victory Road event on TNA+ and cut a promo saying that that she is no longer able to compete. As a result, she announced that she would be stepping away from in-ring competition and forfeited the TNA Knockouts title. An emotional Ash then handed the title to TNA President Carlos Silva and hugged him and Santino Marella as she made her exit.

Marella then announced that the planned Knockouts Tag Team title match at Victory Road would be moved to this Thursday’s Impact as a battle royal would take place on Friday to crown a new Knockouts Champion. NXT’s Kelani Jordan and Lei Ying Lee won the battle royal, advancing to a match later in the show to crown the new champion.

Originally, Ash by Elegance was set to defend the title against Masha Slamovich at Victory Road. However, any mention of Slamovich was removed in the week leading to Friday’s event due to allegations of domestic abuse. It was later revealed that Ash by Elegance would have an announcement to make at Victory Road.

Ash, 36, began wrestling in 2014 at the WWE Performance Center and competed in NXT and later WWE under the name Dana Brooke. After a long tenure with the company, she was released from WWE in September of 2023 and joined TNA the following February, forming the Elegrance brand with the Personal Concierge, Heather by Elegance, and M by Elegance. She won the TNA Knockouts title in a three-way involving champion Jacy Jayne and Slamovich back at NXT’s Heatwave event earlier this summer.

Ash By Elegance to make ‘special announcement’ at TNA Victory Road

Her initial plans for the show had to be scrapped, but Knockouts World Champion Ash By Elegance is still set to appear at TNA Victory Road.

TNA has revealed that Ash will make a “special announcement” on tonight’s Victory Road broadcast. She was originally scheduled to defend her title against Masha Slamovich at the show. Their match was pulled due to Slamovich being an under an internal investigation by TNA after it was alleged that she physically and mentally abused her former boyfriend AKIRA during their relationship.

“As revealed on social media, Ash By Elegance will make a special announcement at Victory Road,” TNA wrote. “What will the Knockouts World Champion have to say? Tune in to find out.”

Ash vs. Slamovich was supposed to be a no DQ match with Indi Hartwell serving as the special guest referee. Hartwell has earned the right to challenge for the Knockouts Championship at TNA’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view on October 12.

Formerly known as Dana Brooke during her WWE career, Ash By Elegance became the new Knockouts Champion by defeating Jacy Jayne and Slamovich in a triple threat match last month at NXT Heatwave.

Victory Road will stream live on TNA+ tonight with the main card starting at 9 p.m. Eastern. The show is being held in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada at the Edmonton Expo Centre.

Has TNA Victory Road 2025 Sold Out? Ticket update

As of the latest update from WrestleTix on X, the ticket situation for TNA Wrestling Victory Road 2025 on Friday 26 September 2025 at the Edmonton EXPO Centre shows that the event is not yet sold out, but it is moving closer.

TNA Victory Road 2025: Current Sales Breakdown

  • Available Tickets: 841
  • Current Setup (i.e. seats configured for sale): 3,107
  • Tickets Distributed: 2,266
  • Change since last week: +259 tickets
  • Days remaining until show: 2
  • Total seats on the map: 4,865
  • Cheapest Standard Admission ticket: CA $44.30

In other words, out of 3,107 seats currently available for sale, 2,266 have already been distributed (sold or reserved), leaving 841 still available. The venue’s total layout allows for up to 4,865 seats, though not all are in use for this show.

Is the Event Sold Out?

No, it hasn’t sold out yet. With 841 tickets still available (again per WrestleTix), fans still have a window to buy. But with just two days to go, those remaining seats could vanish quickly.

Nonetheless, there is some conflicting data. For example, a “2-day pass” ticket listing indicates that those particular passes are sold out. Meanwhile, the AXS Marketplace continues to list resale tickets for Victory Road as still available (at potentially higher prices).

So while the core event tickets are not yet fully sold out, certain ticket types (such as multi-day passes) may already be gone.

Joe Hendry vs. Eric Young is now set for this Friday’s special, which will air live on TNA+. The show is being held in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with a start time of 9 p.m. Eastern. Edmonton’s Expo Centre is hosting the event.

This match has been building since Young — who says he is on a mission to cleanse TNA — attacked Hendry last month. On the most recent episode of TNA Impact, Young lost to Judas Icarus after being distracted by Hendry coming down to ringside.

Young then demanded that TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella give him a match against Hendry.

Hendry, who is still under contract with TNA at the moment along with being featured in NXT, is reportedly expected to join WWE full-time by the start of 2026.

TNA Victory Road 2025 Live Stream: How to watch

The 2025 edition of TNA Victory Road will take place on 26 September 2025 at the Edmonton Expo Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. As a TNA+ monthly special, the event will be streamed live via TNA+ for fans across the globe. Below is a guide on how viewers in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Europe, Japan and other territories can watch the main card live.

How to watch the main card live in the United States

In the United States, the main card of Victory Road 2025 can be streamed live through TNA+ (on the official streaming site watch.tnawrestling.com). TNA has confirmed that Victory Road is branded as a streaming event via TNA+ rather than a traditional pay-per-view in many markets.

Additionally, U.S. fans may also use TrillerTV’s PPV service (when applicable) as a fallback streaming option, especially if TNA offers the event via Triller in the domestic market.

Make sure your TNA+ subscription is active well in advance, and confirm that the platform allows U.S. access on your device (via web, mobile app or connected TV).

How to watch the main card live in the United Kingdom

UK viewers can stream the main card on TNA+, which offers international access including for UK subscribers. In markets like the UK where TNA+ is available, purchasing the PPV via TrillerTV or its app may also work as an alternative.

Because the main card is delivered via streaming, UK fans should check the local start time in BST (British Summer Time) and make sure their internet connection and device setup (e.g. browser, app) support streaming from TNA+.

How to watch the main card live in Australia

Australian fans can view the main card live using TNA+ with international access. Where available, the TrillerTV PPV platform could serve as a secondary option for access via web, mobile or compatible streaming devices.

How to watch the main card live in Europe

In Europe (continent, excluding UK), the main card is accessible via TNA+ with international streaming rights. TrillerTV’s PPV option may also work in some European territories, depending on licensing.

Take note of your local time zone (e.g. CEST, EET, etc.) and make conversions accordingly. Because this is a digital streaming event, your device must support the platform for video playback.

How to watch the main card live in Japan

For Japanese viewers, the main card will stream live via TNA+, which generally supports access in Japan for international subscribers. Depending on regional licensing, TrillerTV PPV might also be available. You should convert the event start time to JST (Japan Standard Time) and check that your device settings are compatible with TNA+ streaming requirements.

TNA Victory Road 2025 Start Times Main Card: US, UK, Australia and more

The main card of TNA Victory Road 2025 airs Friday, September 26, 2025 at 8:30 PM Eastern Time (ET). Below is a breakdown of the start times for major global regions (US, UK, Australia, and more) for the main card.

Victory Road US Main Card Start Time (Eastern / Central / Pacific)

  • 8:30 PM ET (Eastern Time) – official start for the main card.

For the United Kingdom and much of Western Europe:

This shift reflects the typical time difference: UK is 5 hours ahead of Eastern Time (ET). Those in Central Europe (e.g. Germany, France) would see it at 2:30 AM CEST (local time) for the main card.

Australia & Oceania Main Card Start Time

Australia and neighboring regions see the main card at quite odd hours due to the time zone gulf:

  • 10:30 AM AEST (Saturday, September 27) – for Eastern Australia (Sydney, Melbourne)
  • 8:30 AM AWST – for Western Australia (Perth)
  • 11:30 AM AEST+1 / AEDT – if daylight savings applies in regions like New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania
  • 12:30 PM NZDT – New Zealand local time (depending on daylight savings) will be mid-day

Because Eastern Australia is 14 hours ahead of ET during that date, fans will essentially be tuning in the next morning.

Additional Regions: Asia, Latin America & Canada

Here are a few more sample conversions for the main card (8:30 PM ET) to help international viewers:

  • Canada (Eastern Canada) – 8:30 PM ET

  • Since UK/Europe viewers will be watching in the very early hours, you might prefer to record or watch on demand if available.
  • In Australia, the morning schedule may clash with local commitments, so set alarms or reminders ahead of time.
