AEW PPV 2026 Results & Coverage:

Wardlow in attendance at AEW Revolution

Former TNT Champion Wardlow was in attendance for this month’s AEW Revolution, but in a backstage capacity.

According to Fightful Select, Wardlow was there just to visit with no plans yet on his in-ring return any time soon.

He has been out of action since his brief return last August when he shockingly attacked Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana at Forbidden Door to pledge allegiance to the Don Callis Family. In that angle, he suffered a torn pectoral muscle forcing him out of action again.

That was following him recuperating from a knee injury during which time he was filming for the American Gladiators reboot series hosted by WWE’s The Miz that debuts in April. That knee injury kept him out of action for a year.

He made his AEW debut in 2019 as MJF’s bodyguard. In 2022, that alliance ended when Wardlow refused to hand over the Dynamite Diamond Ring which saw him break away from The Pinnacle and establish himself as a singles competitor.  In July that year, he won the TNT Championship, a title held for nearly 140 days.

What’s next for Hangman Page after AEW Revolution? | Opinion

After Revolution, the future for some of AEW’s biggest stars is clear—but for others, what comes next is a huge question mark.

Here’s a look at what might be next for wrestlers like MJF, Andrade, and especially Hangman Page. The following is based purely on speculation and conjecture, and not on any backstage rumors or reports.

Hangman Adam Page

It’s not often that the loser of a pay-per-view main event is the biggest topic of discussion after a show, but then it’s not often that a company’s top star in the prime of his career promises to never challenge for the promotion’s top belt again.

So where do Page and AEW go from here? Let’s start with the simplest (though not necessarily smartest) solution: they eventually break the stip. Page is the one who put his future title shots on the line, though at the post-show media scrum, CEO Tony Khan called it a “verbal contract.” Could Page one day turn heel and simply go back on his word? Would Khan allow him to do so? Would kayfabe lawyers get involved, arguing on behalf of each side?

What if Page and AEW stick to the stip, and he never challenges for the world title again? Lord knows that there are plenty of other belts flying around the company. He could challenge Jon Moxley for the Continental Championship, or Kyle Fletcher for the TNT Championship, or Kazuchika Okada for the International Championship. Jack Perry is also the new National Champion, but he’s also a babyface, so that matchup seems unlikely. If AEW wanted to go to a WWE-style brand split and separate the rosters between the two shows, putting the TNT title on Page and making him the face of Collision wouldn’t be the worst idea.

The third possibility would be that Page’s days as a singles wrestler have ended. He has already won tag team and trios gold in AEW, but a full-time pairing with someone like Swerve Strickland is something that has not yet been explored.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman & Andrade el Idolo

The long-term future for MJF seems obvious—a main event title defense against Will Ospreay at All In in London at the end of August—but what happens between now and then is not clear. A lot of the company’s biggest babyfaces returned at Revolution (Ospreay, Kenny Omega, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage), but all of them attacked heels to settle personal disputes, so they won’t be challenging Friedman right away.

And then there’s Andrade el Idolo. Just two months after his full-time return to the company (following a contract kerfuffle with his former employers at WWE), Andrade has been doing almost nothing except winning great matches. He’s now 7-1 in AEW this year, including wins over Swerve Strickland, Kenny Omega, and now Bandido, the reigning ROH Champion. The sole blemish on his mark was a narrow defeat to Hangman Page, who is now out of the title picture. He’s a fresh face on the scene, he’s got a cool gimmick, and he’s a proven main eventer all over the world.

He’s also a member of the Don Callis Family, and technically a heel. Would AEW want to go with a heel-vs.-heel program on top? There was a tense moment between Friedman and Callis on TV lately, with Fletcher also involved. (Fletcher is another potential challenger for the World title, with no clear challengers for his TNT championship, but he faces the same heel-vs.-heel issues as Andrade.)

If AEW is looking for a strong babyface challenger, the best available candidate would likely be Darby Allin. He has main evented before, he has a history with MJF, and he got a big win over Moxley last year. As of late he has been feuding with Moxley’s Death Riders and then the Dogs, but he has a chance to put all of that behind him and move on to other things after Wednesday’s coffin match against Gabe Kidd.

FTR, Cage & Copeland, and the Young Bucks

FTR beat the Bucks clean at Revolution, but then were attacked by the returning Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. Cope and Cage then posed with the championship belts and said taking those would be the best way to hurt FTR.

The Bucks then muddied the picture by returning to the ring and confronting the Canadians. Fans were buzzing at the staredown. It’s obvious that none of the three teams are done with each other; the only question is who faces who first. One likely scenario: Cope & Cage win the belts from FTR, defend them against the Bucks, and then face both teams in a three-way, perhaps at All In. That would let Cope & Cage drop the belts without being pinned, and that would not be the first time a team of ex-WWE stars lost the AEW tag team titles.

Here & There

From there on down the card, Revolution set up some very obvious scenarios:

  • Kenny Omega returned to feud with Swerve Strickland.
  • Will Ospreay returned to feud with Jon Moxley.
  • Konosuke Takeshita lost to Moxley, and it’s time for him to leave the Don Callis Family and do the feud with Kazuchika Okada they have been teasing forever.
  • Toni Storm will, at some point, have a big match with Ronda Rousey, either one-on-one, or teaming with Mina Shirakawa against Rousey & Marina Shafir, or both.
  • Thekla defeated Kris Statlander in screwy fashion, so their issue remains unsettled.
  • Jack Perry, the new National Champion, can continue his feud with Ricochet, just as the hunted instead of the hunter.
  • The new Trios Champions—Mistico & Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey—can just have bangers every week against a variety of opponents. The Don Callis Family alone should be able to put together enough fresh combinations of challengers to last through the summer.

Will Ospreay reveals when he was cleared for AEW return

Before returning at AEW Revolution, Will Ospreay had already been medically cleared for a couple of weeks.

Ospreay made his surprise return at Sunday night’s pay-per-view in Los Angeles, targeting Jon Moxley after Ospreay had been written off AEW programming last year in a Death Riders attack. Ospreay last wrestled in August 2025 before undergoing surgery for a neck injury. He is now ready to compete again.

In a tweet today, Ospreay shared that doctors gave him the okay to return on February 25. That’s a few weeks after AEW started building the hype for Ospreay’s return with a video on the February 4 edition of Dynamite.

The Revolution card included a Continental Championship match where Moxley choked out Konosuke Takeshita to retain. Following the match, Moxley extended a handshake to Takeshita in a show of respect. Takeshita was initially hesitant but did end up shaking Moxley’s hand.

As Moxley was then leaving, Ospreay emerged for his comeback. He fought off the Death Riders before Moxley escaped.

Ospreay’s return coincides with the ticket pre-sale for All In 2026 beginning today. He figures to play a big part in the show in his home country of the United Kingdom. The PPV is being held at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday, August 30.

During his time away from the ring, Ospreay stayed involved in wrestling through his role as a producer for the U.K. women’s indie promotion Pro Wrestling Eve.

Jack Perry remembers late father post-AEW Revolution win, reveals career doubts

Jack Perry took a moment to remember his late father, actor Luke Perry, after winning the National Championship at AEW Revolution on Sunday night. Additionally, Perry opened up about how reaffirming the victory was after he had doubted his place in pro wrestling.

Speaking at the post-show press conference, Perry took a trip down memory lane, reflecting on visiting Crypto.com Arena (Staples Center) with his father in his childhood. Perry talked about the emotional impact of the title win in his hometown of Los Angeles.

“As I said, today’s kind of bittersweet. I don’t talk about it too much. My dad died, like seven years ago now. It’s not something that I think about in a big way every single day,” Perry said. “Obviously, I think about it, but it’s been seven years and thankfully I’ve been able to have other stuff to put my mind towards. And today, coming here, being in this building, the only time I’ve been here was walking around with my dad. And at that point I was so young, I was probably still holding his hand. It was interesting and it was really cool for me to now be here in this way, but it was also sad because I was thinking, you know,  the person who I wish could be here the most isn’t here.”

The newly crowned champion also showcased gratitude for Luchasaurus, his Jurassic Express tag team partner, who suffered from a medical complication a couple of years ago

“It’s tough but also makes me think about the people I am lucky enough to have here. My mom and sister got to be there, which I’m grateful for,” Perry said. “And to be here with my best friend [Luchasaurus], who almost died a year ago. He had his illness, and I’m sure he’ll get into that at some point. It just puts it all in perspective. Real life happens, and it happens in ways you wouldn’t expect all the time.”

Perry further discussed the hesitations that led to him constantly questioning his decision about wrestling.

“To have this happen in this building, for me — and without getting into too much detail — there have been a lot of highs, but there have been some really low lows that I kind of never really anticipated having, because I guess you don’t. And you know, there were times when I wondered, ‘Did I give my life to the wrong thing? Am I not doing well enough? Did I make a mistake?’ You only get one go-around, maybe, I guess, who knows. I thought, ‘This is my life, did I make the right choice with it?’ I’ve questioned that at times, which hurts,” said Perry.

“So to be here now and succeed in such an overwhelming way, with my family and friends, in a company that I’ve been part of since day one, that really kind of reaffirmed to me that I made the right choice. And who knows how it all works, but I just thought, I hope somewhere you can see this.”

Jack’s father Luke, best known for his role on “Beverly Hills 90210,” passed away in March 2019. It was barely a couple of months after Jack, who was one of the first few wrestlers to sign with AEW during its inception, finalized his signing with the promotion.

At Revolution 2026, Perry won the 21-man Blackjack Battle Royal to win his first AEW National Championship. He’s also a former AEW Tag Team Champion and TNT Champion.

AEW Revolution media scrum notes: Tony Khan on Ronda Rousey, Paramount, SoFi Stadium

AEW stars and Tony Khan talked to the media following AEW Revolution.

Winners from Saturday’s pay-per-view and Khan himself spoke to the press following Sunday’s show on a number of subjects. Here are the highlights:

Gabe Kidd stormed the press conference and cut an obscenity-laced promo, eventually demanding a coffin match against Darby Allin on this Wednesday’s Dynamite. Khan said that was a good idea.

Thekla stayed in character throughout her portion of the interview, though mentioned that she would do whatever it took to help Julia Hart and Skye Blue win the Women’s Tag Team titles.

When Roderick Strong was asked if he was part of The Conglomeration, he replied with a “maybe.” Both he and Orange Cassidy hinted they would like to go for the AEW Tag Team titles next.

During the Mistico, Speedball Mike Bailey, and Kevin Knight portion, Tony Khan confirmed that Mistico would be splitting time between CMLL and AEW after it was announced he signed with the company.

When asked about doing a pay-per-view in Mexico, Khan said his focus right now was on another Grand Slam Mexico. This segment of the presser ended with Mistico saying through a translator that he was happy to have been partnered with Jet Speed and is happy he signed with AEW.

Elsewhere during the show, Khan announced that Continental Classic tracksuits were coming, though didn’t give a specific date.

New National Champion Jack Perry opened up about how his win at Revolution was bittersweet, noting that his father passed away about seven years ago. He said that the only other times he’s been in this building, it’s been with his dad, and wished he could have been there to see him tonight. Despite this, he was happy that his moher, sister, and best friend Luchasaurus was there to see him. He also brought up how Luchasaurus “nearly died” a year ago.

Perry said that at times he questioned if this was the right career choice, but right now he thinks it was.

Tony Khan

  • Khan noted during his initial rundown of the show that MJF and Hangman Page were “hurting badly” following their main event match.
  • He noted at one point that he was “showing off for his new boss,” touching upon the Paramount/WBD deal.
  • He said he would love to get Wayne Brady, who made an appearance during the Zero Hour pre-show, in the ring.
  • Regarding Ronda Rousey’s appearance, Khan gave the storyline explanation that Ronda is a really good friend of Marina Shafir and brought her in as backup. He pivoted to the no holds barred match between Shafir and Toni Storm on Wednesday. Ronda’s always been good to him, he wishes her the best.
  • When asked if AEW will have a presence at the upcoming Rousey/Gina Carano fight, Tony Khan said AEW wrestlers are welcome to attend and revealed he’s been invited.
  • He said the idea of going to SoFi Arena for a future show was “interesting” and “not crazy at all.”
  • Khan said he was thrown a “pretty big curveball” when Penelope Ford was injured. He praised Lena Kross for stepping up.
  • Regarding Hangman Page’s stipulation, Khan said it was similar to Cody’s agreement years ago in that it was an stipulation made between both parties and himself. He noted that Hangman is known to be a man of his word, and that this is a verbal contract.
  • Khan remained positive about the Paramount/WBD merger, bringing up the possibility of HBO Max and Paramount+ working together. If it leads to a situation where it leads to more availability, that would be great.
  • Someone asked about wrestlers promoting political opinions on the shows and if he’s worried these opinions would turn off viewers. Khan said that these are real people who are expressing their real opinion. He doesn’t have any views other than the sport itself, and that is why it is great for the wrestlers to express their own viewpoint, stressing that AEW itself is not a political league.

MJF wins at AEW Revolution, Hangman Page unable to challenge for World title ever again

Hangman Page will never be able to challenge for the AEW World title again after losing to reigning champion MJF at Sunday’s AEW Revolution

On his birthday, MJF defeated Page in a Texas Death Match in the night’s main event, a bloody fight that featured barbed wire, a staple gun, paper cuts, a broken pane of glass, light tubes, skewers, and a broken broom handle among other items. One of those was a hypodermic needle that was stuck through Page’s cheek in a callback to his Texas Death Match with Swerve Strickland.

Page nearly had MJF beat after driving skewers into his head followed by a buckshot lariat. Page then brought out a double dog collar in a callback to MJF’s violent match with CM Punk several years ago. He then dragged MJF to the apron and brought out a barbed wire board on top of another table as the fans chanted for fire. The two battled and MJF pulled Page off for a flip through the board/table.

MJF continued to whip Page with the collar chain, going up to the stage. Page countered, grabbing MJF and jumping into a table of electrical equipment that exploded. Both men eventually beat the ten count and Page dog walked him back to the ring. MJF kicked him low off a buckshot attempt and grabbed his title belt, hitting him in the head and barely beating the ten count. Page hit him with the belt and went for another buckshot, but MJF countered and choked Page out over the top rope to end the match.

Page was put on a stretcher, but MJF jumped up on the stretcher and stood over his opponent to end the pay-per-view.

Because of the stipulation Page offered in order to get the title shot, he and Cody Rhodes are now the only two men in company history to be ineligible to ever challenge for the World title again due to that stipulation.

It’s MJF’s first win over Page in four tries.

MJF wore the crimson mask first and was dragged through the broken glass, followed by a string of barbed wire in his mouth as Page pulled it back and forth from behind as if he were a horse. Page was later cut open after MJF stabbed him with a piece of the glass, followed by him dragging Page through the glass.

MJF’s second World title reign continues with the sixth successful defense of the gold he won at last December’s Worlds End. He came out for his first-ever Texas Death Match clad in tights and trunks and Western garb in honor of Terry Funk. Page is now 5-2 in his speciality match with his only other loss coming to Strickland at November 2023’s Full Gear.

Page held the title twice in his career, the first time from November 2021’s Full Gear when he defeated Kenny Omega through May 2022’s Double or Nothing when he notably lost to CM Punk. His second run came from July 2025’s All In Texas through November’s Full Gear.

Former champion not cleared for Blackjack battle royal at AEW Revolution | Exclusive

Former AEW Trios Champion Hook was originally slated to be in the 21-man Blackjack battle royal for the National title at Sunday’s AEW Revolution, but didn’t appear in the match.

According to our Bryan Alvarez, the reason was that he wasn’t medically cleared at the last minute. However, Alvarez said he is expected to be fine. It’s unknown what injury he currently has.

Hook’s inclusion was revealed during Saturday’s Collision.

The 26-year-old hasn’t wrestled since a late-January indie appearance with his last AEW match taking place on January 7 in a lights out tag team match. He has been seen on AEW TV as the self-appointed leader of The Opps, taking Samoa Joe’s place as he recovers from a reported concussion. Fellow Opps member Katsuyori Shibata made his return in the battle royal after being in Japan.

Jack Perry won the battle royal and took home the AEW National title, dethroning inaugural champion Ricochet.

Ronda Rousey makes surprise appearance at AEW Revolution

As her return to MMA looms, former UFC and WWE star Ronda Rousey made her return to the world of wrestling in a surprise appearance at Sunday’s AEW Revolution.

Rousey appeared following Toni Storm’s victory over Marina Shafir, getting into the ring and pointing toward Storm who was lying in the entranceway. She then re-entered the ring and the two began exchanging words before a slew of security ran into the ring to separate them.

Rousey, who was booed, then took off with Shafir through the crowd.

Rousey’s return to MMA takes place at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles against Gina Carano on Saturday, May 16 on Netflix. The crossover star hasn’t been shy at taking shots at TKO leadership for how they manage UFC after initially trying to bring the fight back to the Octagon.

The 39-year-old hasn’t wrestled since November 2023 when she teamed with Shafir against Athena and Billie Starkz at a post-AEW TV Ring of Honor taping in Inglewood, California — part of three matches Shafir and Rousey had in October and November.

She famously had two runs in WWE from April 2018 through April 2019 and January 2022 through August 2023. She’s a former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion in addition to a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.

Jack Perry wins National title at AEW Revolution

Jack Perry is the new National Champion.

The final moments of the Blackjack Battle Royal that headlined Zero Hour opened the main card of Sunday’s AEW Revolution event in Los Angeles. After Perry threw El Clon out of the ring, the match boiled down to him and Ricochet. The two did battle as Ricochet grabbed Perry off the turnbuckle and went to deliver a move on the apron. Perry instead countered and hit a reverse rana, causing Ricochet to tumble out of the ring.

Perry and Ricochet have been feuding for the last several weeks. Although Perry was unsuccessful in challenging Ricochet for the title, his team won the Mile High Madness match on last month’s Dynamite, defeating Ricochet’s team. On Collision, he revealed he would be part of the battle royal.

The former Jungle Boy made his entrance on Saturday by arriving on a bus driven by tag team partner Luchasaurus, who is out of action with an injury.

Ricochet became the first National Champion back in November when he won a Casino Gauntlet match at Full Gear. He had defended the title across several promotions including Ring of Honor, CMLL, and New Japan.
