Jey Uso had to intervene when fan wouldn’t let go of Roman Reigns (VIDEO)

Jey Uso had to get involved when a fan took it a little too far with Roman Reigns during the WWE Clash in Italy 2026 event this past weekend.

Reigns was interacting with fans after his match against Jacob Fatu at the PLE when a fan grabbed his hand from the crowd. The fan then would not let go, even when Reigns tried to walk away, and Uso had to step in and slap the fan’s hand off the World Heavyweight Champion.

WWE Fan Incidents

The interaction only lasted a few seconds, but Uso stepping in and swatting away the fan is getting him a lot of respect from fans reacting to the video online.

There have also recently been issues with fans “stalking” performers at hotels and generally not knowing what the boundaries are between a quick moment and, quite frankly, taking the piss.

Wrestlers having to get involved when fans take it too far is seemingly ramping up even more in recent months. TMZ Sports recently had footage of a fan filming CM Punk’s wife AJ Lee and Bayley as they hugged and said goodbye to each other at the hotel after WrestleMania this year. Punk knocked the man’s phone to the ground after Bayley clearly asked the fan to move away. Punk was visibly angry, but the incident did not escalate any further.

Granted, an incident at an actual show is slightly different, but with these interactions becoming more and more commonplace it likely won’t be long before something goes horribly wrong.

You can check out the moment with Roman via the X post below:

Four matches to make for WWE Backlash | Opinion

With WWE Backlash less than two weeks away, just three matches have been made: Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu, Asuka vs. IYO SKY, and Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker.

Beyond those, several rivalries also deserve a spot on the Backlash match card, some emerging from the WrestleMania 42 fallout, and others gaining new momentum.

Here’s a few matches I hope are added to WWE Backlash over the next week.

The Vision vs. The Street Profits for the WWE World Tag Team Titles

Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford made their WWE return on the Raw after Mania, taking out The Vision who were attacking Seth Rollins.

This week, Joe Hendry kicked off his Raw debut with a concert, encouraging fans to sing “Can we fire Logan Paul?” The Vision interrupted his performance and Paul went on a rant, leading to the Street Profits intervening once again.

Backstage, Rollins approached Dawkins and Ford to extend his appreciation for their support the previous week. To his surprise, Ford cut him off midway, citing their focus is to win the World Tag Team Titles and are in no way interested to be friends.

That journey should begin next weekend.

Carmelo Hayes vs. Trick Williams for the WWE United States Title

Their storied rivalry dates back to their NXT days. From allies to rivals, Hayes and Williams battled it out on numerous occasions.

Hayes has established himself as a key member of the SmackDown roster with his United States Championship reign — the same reign that came to an end in March when Sami Zayn defeated him for the title and then lost it to Williams at WrestleMania 42.

With Williams also recently saying Hayes deserved a spot on the WrestleMania card, Hayes could step up and demand a match for the title at Backlash.

Jordynne Grace vs. Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s United States Title

Stratton ended Giulia’s second U.S. Title reign last Friday. Instead of doing a rematch, WWE should pit Jordynne Grace to challenge Stratton. After all, Strattong did pin Grace to become the top contender for the title. It would lay the foundation for a potential long term feud as well, and re-position Grace as the next big star on SmackDown.

LA Knight vs. Jey Uso

On Monday’s Raw, Knight questioned the Usos on their reunion with Roman Reigns. He proceeded to define Jey’s singles run and accomplishments when he exited The Bloodline. Knight is no stranger to their affairs as he challenged Reigns for the Universal title at Crown Jewel in 2023.

Jey told Knight to stay in his lane before Jimmy took over the conversation, saying that it’s family business.

In the second half of 2025, The Usos and Knight seemed to be united against The Vision. However on an edition of Raw in September, Jey snapped and speared Knight. A week later, he retaliated and the tension was deflected with their individual storylines diverging on different routes, but it was never resolved.

At Backlash, the two could finally settle their score in the ring and bring closure to their unfinished business.

Cam’ron continues feud with The Usos, issues WWE SummerSlam challenge

Despite the heavy backlash before WWE WrestleMania 42 due to Pat McAfee’s addition, WWE seems to be far from over with its celebrity involvement.

In the weeks leading up to WrestleMania 42, fans saw Jey Uso appear on It Is What It Is, where rapper Cam’ron took constant shots at Uso. However, after this continued for a while, the former World Champion finally snapped and ambushed the rapper in the studio.

The moment was also directly referenced by Roman Reigns on the April 20 episode of RAW. Trying to motivate Uso, Reigns called Cam’ron a “washed rapper from the 90s.”

However, not taking the insults lightly, Cam’ron fired back. He responded via an Instagram video, calling Reigns a “little dog.” He further continued his wrestling style promo and called himself the “paramount chief.”

“You are a s**ker! You do what Triple H tells you to do. But I get it, Triple H, I’ll tell you what, get all The Usos, bring all them motherf***er. I’ll set this motherf***er up at SummerSlam. I can’t wait!”

All I can do is laugh at you [Roman Reigns] staying for Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania is like eating thanksgiving leftovers on Monday after thxgvn,” Cam’ron wrote. “The Rock would Never.”

But you’re [Triple H] lil lil employee. You better do what he says,” Cam’ron wrote and issued a challenge to The Usos for SummerSlam.

The 50-year-old rapper issued the challenge, ripped his t-shirt, and walked away to close the video.

Cam’ron says he’ll see Jey Uso at WWE WrestleMania 42 after altercation

Cam’ron says he’ll be at WrestleMania.

Jey Uso and the rapper got into an altercation on It Is What It Is on Thursday, although it is not clear if the scene was real or staged. Uso grabbed at Cam’ron and threw him to the ground on the show.

Cam’ron addressed the incident to open his show on Friday, saying:

“I see a few people from the Bloodline that’s upset. Listen man, don’t be mad at the facts, be mad at the resume. And I’ll see you all this week at WrestleMania. I’m pulling up, I’ll be there.”

Cam’ron later addressed Uso, saying:

“I know I’m the biggest name that you had a fight with in a long time. I’m probably the biggest name that you ever had a fight with because you’re not your father. You’re not The Rock.”

“We’ll see what happens at WrestleMania. I can’t tell you what’s going to happen, but I will tell you that something is going to happen.”

The altercation between Uso and Cam’ron began early in Uso’s appearance on yesterday’s show. As Uso was discussing his family history, Cam’ron interjected to say Uso was not on the level of The Rock or his father Rikishi. Uso later appeared on Stephen A. Smith’s podcast and said that Cam’ron “had it coming,” while also joking about the rapper riding a scooter around Las Vegas casinos.

The full episode of It Is What It Is is available below. Cam’ron’s comments about Jey Uso begin at the start of the episode.

Jey Uso involved in altercation with rapper Cam’ron during podcast appearance

An incident involving Jey Uso and rapper Cam’ron took place on Thursday, though it is unclear whether the exchange was legitimate or staged.

Uso was a guest on It Is What It Is with Cam’ron and Ma$e on Thursday. Cam’ron took shots at Uso for not being as good a wrestler as others in his family and for his match at WrestleMania being on the Saturday show rather than the Sunday. This led to Uso leaving the interview and physically throwing the rapper to the ground.

The situation began to get heated when Uso answered a question about his family.

“There’s so many heavy hitters in my family, like my dad, Yokozuna, Rock…I wouldn’t say I’m above like Roman Reigns…”

Cam’ron then interjected:

“Yeah because you not.”

Ma$e then asked Uso where he thinks he ranks in his family, and if he feels he ranks higher than The Rock. Uso specifically said he would not rank himself higher than The Rock.

“I feel like I’m up there with him, but I got a lot to grow.”

Cam then asked Uso if anyone had ever “tried him” in public. Uso gave Cam a long stare before answering:

“Yeah they have, Uce.”

Uso did not respond after Cam asked how it went.

Uso was then asked about his upcoming match at WrestleMania involving popular YouTube stars IShowSpeed and Logan Paul. Asked about wrestling against YouTubers, Uso said:

“They can get slapped, too. Yeah, you want to try?”

Cam responded:

“Let me ask you this cause I don’t know where we are going with this, but let me try and stick to the script.”

Uso then asked:

“Damn, Uce, did you want me on the show or what?”

Later in the exchange, Cam said:

“Do you have anything else to say? Because I don’t smell what the Uce is cooking.”

He then added:

“You looking at me like it’s a problem.”

Uso responded:

“You coming off a little disrespectful.”

Cam said:

“No, I think you’re coming off as a little disrespectful in my house a little bit.”

Cam later continued:

“I have much love for your family. I think your family is wrestling royalty. When you say you wrestle as good as The Rock, I got a problem with that. I just can’t respect it.”

Cam then said he would be watching WrestleMania Sunday but not Saturday. Uso got up and, as he was walking past Cam, reached out and grabbed onto him, pulling him to the ground. At that point, others stepped in and broke up the scuffle quickly. Cam was shown laying on the ground covering his head as Uso was being taken away.

After the show came back, it was revealed that Ma$e called security on Uso during the scuffle.

John Cena, other WWE stars appear on Netflix MLB opening night broadcast

John Cena thankfully found some work to do post-WWE retirement, appearing during Netflix’s inaugural Major League Baseball broadcast Wednesday.

Cena wasn’t live in San Francisco for the Giants vs. New York Yankees but appeared in a two-minute video, explaining the new automated balls and strikes (ABS) challenge system being rolled out this season (seen below). Clips of Cena doing wrestling moves were intertwined with his presentation.

Cena is currently involved with six projects at various stages of production with the first two — Acme vs. Coyote and Matchbox The Movie — set to be released this year.

WWE World Tag Team Champion Jey Uso and Jacob Fatu were also in attendance, sitting in the stands. The two were interviewed by NFL quarterback Jameis Winston with Winston doing a Rock promo line (seen below) when telling a story about people booing him not giving a ball to a kid.

Jimmy Uso did not appear as advertised, replaced by Fatu. It’s unclear what the reason was for the change.

WWE and Netflix are in year two of a five-year rights contract with MLB’s Netflix contract kicking off this season.

Two WWE stars set for Netflix MLB opening night appearance

Fans tuning into opening night of the Major League Baseball season will see an appearance by WWE World Tag Team Champions The Usos.

The 2026 MLB season begins this Wednesday when the San Francisco Giants host the New York Yankees. It will be broadcast on Netflix as the first MLB game to ever air live on the platform, and that presents an opportunity for Netflix to highlight some of its other programming. It’s been confirmed that Jimmy & Jey Uso will be appearing on the coverage as special guests.

Our Bryan Alvarez first reported over the weekend that WWE was sending some of its talent to the Giants vs. Yankees game to do cross-promotion.

Since WWE began its relationship with Netflix, we’ve seen WWE wrestlers make similar appearances like Seth Rollins and CM Punk joining Netflix’s NFL coverage and Rollins being part of the broadcast team for a Netflix skyscraping special.

Netflix is the broadcast home of WWE Raw in the United States and also hosts much of WWE’s archival catalogue. Internationally, it carries a wider array of WWE content including PLEs. Those PLEs do not air on Netflix in the U.S. due to WWE’s deal with ESPN.

WWE is currently in the biggest promotional stretch of its year with WrestleMania 42 now less than a month away. On Raw tonight (March 23), The Usos have a match against Logan Paul & Austin Theory.

Wrestling Weekly: AEW Revolution predictions

On a new Wrestling Weekly, Les Thatcher and Vic Sosa have their eyes on AEW Revolution which should be yet another outstanding pay-per-view.

On this week’s show, we’ll give our predictions on the matches as well as our thoughts on Cody Rhodes’ recent comments and what it might mean for him moving forward.

Thanks for listening and have a great weekend~!

WWE’s Bronson Reed undergoes successful biceps surgery

Four days after tearing his biceps on Monday Night Raw, Bronson Reed emerged from surgery with a positive message for his fans.

Reed shared a photo of himself lying in a hospital bed, tied up in all manner of equipment and braces, on Instagram late Friday night. He included a simple message: “Surgery done. Tomorrow is DAY ONE. The road back.”

Reed tore his biceps during an Elimination Chamber qualifying match on Raw. He was originally scheduled to win the match, but could not continue. That led to Jey Uso winning the match instead. Then, tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown opened with Uso being placed into an ambulance, having been assaulted by an unknown attacker.

Logan Paul, Reed’s stablemate in the Vision, faced Jacob Fatu later in the show, with the winner replacing Uso in the Chamber match. Paul won the match after WWE Champion Drew McIntyre attacked Fatu.

Assuming nobody else is taken off the show in the next 24 hours, the field for the Men’s Elimination Chamber match is set, with Paul joining Randy Orton, LA Knight, Cody Rhodes, Je’Von Evans, and Trick Williams Saturday night in Chicago. The winner will then be scheduled to challenge McIntyre at WrestleMania 42 in April.

Logan Paul replaces Jey Uso in men’s WWE Elimination Chamber match

One more Elimination Chamber qualifying match took place on SmackDown.

Logan Paul qualified for the chamber in the main event, replacing Jey Uso who was attacked shortly before SmackDown went on the air. Paul defeated Jacob Fatu after Drew McIntyre interfered yet again, this time striking Fatu with the WWE title as he climbed the turnbuckle. Paul followed with a rollup to win the match.

Prior to the finish, the masked man that had been attacking members of The Vision returned yet again, looking to take out Austin Theory with the stomp. However, Paul exited the ring and took him out, unmasking him to reveal an unidentified man who was taken away by officials.

On social media, Uso was shown laid out just minutes prior to the start of SmackDown, with the show starting with Uso being placed into an ambulance. Later in the show, both Paul and Fatu pleaded their cases to Nick Aldis to be put in the match. Aldis then told Paul that he would face Fatu in the main event with the winner getting Uso’s spot in the chamber.

Uso won his qualifying match on Raw, defeating Bronson Reed and the Original El Grande Americano. Reed was supposed to win that match, but tore his bicep during a pinfall breakup and was unable to continue. As a result, it turned into a singles match where Uso won after a frog splash.

Jey Uso wants his doubters to ‘stop hating’ before WWE Elimination Chamber

Jey Uso has shared a message for his doubters just a few days before competing in the men’s Elimination Chamber.

In less than two days on Saturday, February 28, WWE is set to host Elimination Chamber in Chicago, IL, where Uso, against five other men, are scheduled to compete inside the steel chamber for a WrestleMania 42 title shot.

Recently appearing on ESPN First Take, Uso opened up and asked his doubters to “stop hating.” Instead, he offered them come watch one of the shows.

Man, just keep watching your TV screen. Open your laptop up, put your iPad up, iPhone out. I’ll be on there somewhere, Uce. ESPN, Netflix, this Saturday, it’s Elimination Chamber, man. Pick one, Uce. I’ll be on there Monday, Friday too. Stay blessed, man, stop hating, man. Come to one of these shows, you might change your vibes. You feel me?

Further in the same interview, Uso opened up and answered if he plans on running back his entrance mid-match.

If they’re asking for it, I’mma give it to them every single time. That’s why they pay money. Look at them hardworking people out there with their kids, yeet me, man. Why would I not give it to them, sis? Why? I’m gonna run it back every single time. Yes, I will. If I can, I will.”

Uso is scheduled to compete against Cody Rhodes, Trick Williams, LA Knight, Je’Von Evans, and Randy Orton inside the Elimination Chamber on February 28, 2026.

Updated WWE SmackDown lineup: New segment added

Before facing off at the PLE, all six men’s Elimination Chamber participants are set to appear on WWE SmackDown.

WWE has announced that Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, LA Knight, and Jey Uso will take part in an in-ring segment on SmackDown this Friday night. Those six are the wrestlers who will be competing at Elimination Chamber on Saturday to determine Drew McIntyre’s WWE Championship challenger for WrestleMania 42.

“One night before battling inside the Elimination Chamber for the opportunity to challenge Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Je’Von Evans, Jey Uso, LA Knight and Trick Williams will stand in the ring together on SmackDown,” WWE.com wrote. “Don’t miss all the action of SmackDown, Friday at 8 ET/7 CT on USA.”

Final two wrestlers qualify for WWE Elimination Chamber

The final two participants for the Elimination Chamber are set.

Jey Uso got the win in the final men’s qualifying match on Raw, defeating Bronson Reed and Original El Grande Americano in a triple threat match. Uso pinned Americano with a frog splash in a finish that was unplanned, as Bronson Reed was originally set to win. Reed suffered a torn biceps while breaking up a pin during the match and was unable to continue, leading to Jey Uso’s impromtu win. It was later announced that Reed would be out of action indefinitely.

For the women, Raquel Rodriguez scored the victory over Kairi Sane and IYO SKY. The finish had SKY hitting a tornado DDT, only for Sane to throw her out of the ring and go for the in-Sane elbow. Rodriguez got the knees up and connected with the Tejana bomb for the win.

It was established on Raw that the winner of the women’s Elimination Chamber match will now challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s title at WrestleMania 42. Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan made her decision earlier in the show, attacking Stephanie Vaquer to set up their title match.

Cody Rhodes: Popularity of The Bloodline made it ‘very hard’ to get attention outside of WWE

When The Bloodline saga was gaining steam, Cody Rhodes felt like it was difficult to “turn heads” with the work he was doing outside of WWE.

Rhodes was with AEW when The Bloodline story began but later became part of the saga himself, dethroning Roman Reigns for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40 in 2024. Rhodes also had a brief Tag Team title reign with Jey Uso — and those two linked back up on this week’s episode of Rhodes’ “What Do You Wanna Talk About?” podcast.

During their conversation, Rhodes credited The Bloodline for being a “massive” part of WWE’s recent business boom, comparing it to some of the biggest storylines in wrestling history. The popularity of what was going on with The Bloodline made it difficult to get fans to pay attention to anything else.

“I was away trying to turn heads with what I was doing, and it’s very hard to do that when the Tribal Chief is becoming a thing, when the Ula Fala is becoming a thing, all of that,” Rhodes said.

Uso noted that, when the story started, they didn’t know how big it was going to become. Whenever it felt like things were maybe getting stale, a new element like Sami Zayn’s involvement would be added to reinvigorate things. Uso feels one big factor in their popularity was Roman Reigns trash-talking during matches, and it was important to keep that going when audiences returned after the pandemic era.

“Him talking, like, just elevated the product more, I think,” Uso said. “And when the people got back, I felt like we have to keep some of that style. And also for the live people, we gotta go too. I think that’s what made the WWE style today — and you know what they say today? It was like cinema, right? That’s all they kept calling us: ‘cinema, cinema, cinema, cinema.’ And I didn’t even know, we were just cooking every week.”

As for the future of The Bloodline, Uso said he believes there is still more story to be told whenever things pick back up.

“It’s still alive,” Uso said. “I don’t think it’s dead.”

Jey Uso feels WWE is an ‘easier hustle’ than it used to be

Jey Uso believes the life he’s living as a wrestler now is an easier existence than the generations that came before him had.

While joining Cody Rhodes on a new episode of “What Do You Wanna Talk About?,” Uso discussed how meaningful it is to have his father Rikishi so vocally supportive of his career. Becoming a wrestler has given Uso a greater level of appreciation for everything his family went through back in the day. Life as a wrestler can still be hard, but Uso feels the industry is an “easier hustle” than it used to be.

“Just being a wrestler now, and I know today it’s an easier hustle,” Uso said. “And I’m not saying that — this sh*t’s still hard. Being a wrestler, this life is hard. I think when my dad was coming up though, man, he went through the wringer. He’s still alive today. He’s healthy. I know like a lot of people, they’re up next. Everyone’s getting older. Our parents are getting older. We’re getting older, you know. My dad is our biggest fan, though. I cannot lie about that.”

Rhodes agreed that certain aspects of wrestling are easier today. The money is better and you don’t have to take as many bumps, but there are other obligations like personal appearances and media duties that didn’t exist before.

“It’s certainly not the bumping each night and the lighter envelopes, because the money and economy was different for wrestling then, Rhodes said. “But I mean, I watch you walk in here with someone from talent relations telling you what you need to do next and where you need to go. And what was house shows has been replaced by a lot of other things that are equal in an opportunity standpoint. There’s something of value to them. There’s something special. It’s just different. Like, we’re navigating a new hustle.”

Uso and his twin brother Jimmy are currently the World Tag Team Champions in WWE. They’ve reunited as a team after the singles success Jey had in 2025, which included a reign with the World Heavyweight Championship.
