New match added to AEW Revolution Zero Hour

Big Boom AJ’s match for this Sunday’s AEW Revolution has been revealed.

Announced during Thursday’s Ring of Honor TV, the social media star will reunite with Boom & Doom teammate QT Marshall to take on The Infantry on the Zero Hour pre-show, set for 7 pm Eastern.

He last competed alongside Marshall on a late-December 2025 edition of ROH TV, defeating The Frat House. Before that, he and Marshall defeated RPG Vice on the AEW Full Gear pre-show last November.

It’s assumed his son (Big Justice) will be in Los Angeles as well alongside The Rizzler.

Willow Nightingale, Lena Kross to wrestle twice as part of updated AEW Revolution lineup

Both double champion Willow Nightingale and Lena Kross will do double duty as part of this Sunday’s AEW Revolution.

Announced during Wednesday’s Dynamite, Nightingale will defend her TBS title against Lena Kross on the pay-per-view Zero Hour pre-show. Then on the main card, Nightingale and Harley Cameron will defend their AEW Women’s Tag Team titles against Kross and Megan Bayne.

Nightingale was successful in defending her TBS title against Persephone during Dynamite and was jubilant afterward in calling for action at Revolution.

In another new addition, The Dogs will face Orange Cassidy, Darby Allin and the returning Roderick Strong on the main card. Strong made his surprise return Wednesday in aiding Cassidy and Allin after Clark Connors got involved in their match with Gabe Kidd and David Finlay. Strong teased joining The Dogs before helping even the odds.

The other development was Tommaso Ciampa being revealed as part of the Blackjack battle royal for Ricochet’s AEW National Championship on the pre-show. It appears that Big Boom AJ will be part of that match as well as he previously said he’ll compete on the show.

Clarification on AEW Revolution Zero Hour airing ‘free’ on HBO Max

This past Saturday during AEW Collision, Tony Schiavone said that the Zero Hour pre-show for this Sunday’s Revolution pay-per-view would be airing “free” on HBO Max, followed by tweets like this one promoting the same.

However, the terminology used wasn’t quite accurate.

A WBD spokesperson told our website that while the show will be in front of the PPV paywall, it will not be in front of the HBO Max subscription paywall, meaning you still need an HBO Max subscription to view it just like previous AEW pre-shows like the Tailgate Brawl editions before last fall’s PPVs.

According to the graphic shown during the show, Zero Hour will also air on YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, X and Facebook.

Big Boom AJ says he will be competing at AEW Revolution

Big Boom AJ of The Costco Guys revealed on Thursday that he will be returning to the AEW ring soon — as in next weekend soon.

In a quick video posted to his Instagram account, the 50-year-old born Andrew Befumo Jr. answered a X question about “when is your next AEW wrestling show?” Lifting weights, he said he would be in the ring next Sunday at AEW Revolution.

To this point, there has been no build to any match, either on AEW TV, ROH TV or the company’s social media accounts.

AJ last competed alongside QT Marshall on a late-December 2025 edition of ROH TV, defeating The Frat House. Before that, he and Marshall defeated RPG Vice on the Full Gear pre-show last November.

The viral social media star, known for he and son Big Justice’s love of double chocolate chunk cookies and chicken bakes at the big box store, first wrestled for AEW at November 2024’s Full Gear with a win over Marshall. He then returned at the following March’s Revolution, teaming with Mark Briscoe and Orange Cassidy in a win over Johnny TV & MxM Collection.

He also was part of last July’s All In: Texas, teaming with Hologram, Tomohiro Ishii and Kyle O’Reilly in a win over Rocky Romero, Hechicero, Lance Archer and Trent Beretta.

Update on Kenny Omega’s AEW Revolution status

An appearance by Kenny Omega is still possible for AEW Revolution, but an agreement would need to be worked out for it to happen.

Omega is scheduled to be in Japan during the week of Revolution for Capcom Cup 2026, an annual “Street Fighter” video game tournament. There is a contractual commitment for Omega to be at the tournament, but Dave Meltzer reports that Omega is trying to reach an agreement where he could return to the United States in time for Revolution on Sunday, March 15.

“Regarding Kenny Omega, as noted two weeks ago, he is under contract to be at the Capcom event at Sumo Hall in Tokyo from 3/11 to 3/15. He is trying to make a deal where he can leave on 3/14 and be on the PPV, but as of right now he still has the commitment,” Meltzer wrote in the new issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. “He said there is a possibility he can make the date but at this point he didn’t want to be in a position where he had to be on the show or where he would be teased or advertised in case he cant make it.”

Revolution is being held in Los Angeles at Crypto.com Arena. A match between Omega and Swerve Strickland would have made sense for the pay-per-view if Omega were able to wrestle at the show. Instead, they faced off on Dynamite this week with Strickland getting the win, laying out Omega, and turning heel.

The Revolution card is being headlined by MJF vs. Hangman Page for the AEW World Championship. On AEW programming recently, we’ve seen Omega attempt to get back into the World title picture. Another World title reign is something that he’s open to, but Omega believes that AEW should prioritize its future.

Kenny Omega laid out by Swerve Strickland, new report on status for AEW Revolution

Image: AEW

In their first-ever match, Swerve Strickland defeated Kenny Omega in the main event of Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, possibly turning heel in the process.

After the match, Strickland continued to go after Omega, hanging him with a chain and then delivering a vertebreaker through the announcers table to seemingly write Omega off.

That absence will apparently last through March 15’s Revolution pay-per-view in terms of an in-ring match. Shortly after Dynamite ended, Fightful Select definitively reported that Omega will not compete on the PPV, adding that an appearance isn’t out of the question. That was the impetus for doing the Strickland match Wednesday.

Two weeks ago, it was noted by our Dave Meltzer that Omega was set to be in Japan during the week of Revolution to be part of the Capcom Cup 12 event. However, it was unclear at that point if Omega would be freed up to wrestle on the Sunday PPV.

No time limit Continental title defense made for AEW Revolution

AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley will defend his title against Konosuke Takeshita at next month’s Revolution pay-per-view, but with no time limit.

During Wednesday’s Dynamite, Moxley called for a rematch with the twist which was later agreed to off-screen.

Moxley and Takeshita went to a time limit draw at this past Saturday’s Grand Slam Australia in their fifth-ever meeting and a rematch from last December’s Continental Classic tournament where Takeshita pinned Moxley for the first time.

It was Moxley’s first title defense since winning last year’s Classic. Takeshita is looking for his first AEW singles title since his 148-day International title run ended in March 2025.

FTR vs. Young Bucks V official for AEW Revolution

Image: AEW

The fifth meeting between AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR and the Young Bucks is official for next month’s Revolution pay-per-view.

The title match for Sunday, March 15 was announced during Wednesday’s Dynamite. FTR and Stokely Hathaway were doing an in-ring promo running down the Bucks when they snuck in from behind, superkicked the champions, and then did the same to Hathaway.

Afterward, Matt & Nick Jackson suggested they get their earned title shot at the PPV which was later confirmed. The two earned the opportunity on last week’s Dynamite by virtue of their victory in a three-way tag team eliminator featuring The Rascalz and the returning Private Party.

Winning the belts at last November’s Full Gear, FTR are in their third AEW Tag Team title run and will be looking to defend the titles for a fourth time. Conversely, the Bucks will be looking for their fourth title run and their first since April 2024.

Their first-ever meeting came at 2020’s Full Gear which saw the Bucks defeat FTR for the titles. The two teams rematched on an April 2022 edition of Dynamite which saw FTR retain both the AAA & ROH Tag Team titles.

They would meet for a third time at August 2023’s All In London where FTR retained the AEW Tag Team titles with their last clash coming at April 2024’s Dynasty where the Bucks defeated FTR in a ladder match for the then-vacant titles.

MJF vs. Hangman Page World title match at AEW Revolution to have double stipulations

Image: AEW

The stakes have been raised for the AEW World title match between MJF and Hangman Page at next month’s Revolution pay-per-view.

The two had a face-to-face confrontation on Wednesday’s Dynamite where Page said the title match needed something a bit more like a stipulation. MJF had no interest and insisted on a simple “professional wrestling match.”

Page insisted and then offered up that if MJF agrees to a stipulation of his own choosing, he will never challenge for the AEW World title again ever if he loses.

MJF quickly agreed, but said he needs a week to figure out what he wants to do as he doesn’t shoot first and ask questions later like Page does. The former champion then said the stipulation he wants is a Texas Death Match which MJF didn’t seem too thrilled about.

The match will be their fourth ever singles meeting with Page leading the unofficial series 2-1.

World title match official for AEW Revolution

Hangman Page is heading to Revolution.

Page defeated Andrade El Idolo at Grand Slam Australia, pinning him after hitting the buckshot lariat. With the win, he will now head to Los Angeles for AEW Revolution on March 15 where he will challenge MJF.

AEW held a mini-tournament to decide MJF’s opponent for LA next month. Andrade defeated Swerve Strickland and Kenny Omega to get the chance to face Hangman Page, who defeated Mark Davis ahead of his match in Sydney.

Page lost the AEW World title to Samoa Joe at Full Gear thanks to interference from Hook, who turned heel and joined The Opps. However, that title reign ended after a month when MJF won a fatal four-way match, defeating Joe, Swerve, and Page to win the title for a second time. He will defend it later on Saturday when he faces Brody King, who quickly defeated him on a recent edition of AEW Dynamite in a title eliminator match.
