Josh Alexander vs. Steve Maclin no DQ match added to TNA Turning Point

A no DQ match has been added to TNA Turning Point.

TNA announced Tuesday that Josh Alexander and Steve Maclin will go one-on-one under no disqualification rules at Turning Point set for Friday, November 29.

Alexander vs. Maclin is a rematch from Bound for Glory where Alexander came away with the victory. Alexander and his Northern Armory were also victorious over Maclin, Eric Young, and Jonathan Gresham on a follow-up TNA Impact episode in six-man tag team action.

The no DQ match is the second match added to the Turning Point lineup today, as a six-man bout featuring The Hardys was announced for the show earlier on Tuesday.

International Women’s Cup four-way announced for Wrestle Dynasty

A new match is set for the Wrestle Dynasty event on January 5, 2025.

NJPW has announced a four-way match for the newly-devised International Women’s Cup for the Tokyo Dome event set for January 5, with the winner eligible to challenge for the title of their choice.

AEW, Ring of Honor, Stardom, and CMLL will have qualifying four-way matches between now and Wrestle Dynasty to decide their promotion’s representative in the four-way match at the Dome.

Wrestle Dynasty is the second of consecutive Tokyo Dome shows, with NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 19 to take place on Saturday, January 4 as is tradition. Zack Sabre Jr. defending the IWGP World Heavyweight title against Shota Umino will headline that event.

WarGames advantage match booked for next WWE Raw

A match to decide which side will begin the women’s WarGames with a two-on-one advantage is set for the November 25 WWE Raw.

Bianca Belair will face Nia Jax on next week’s show with the winner’s WarGames team receiving the order of entry advantage at Survivor Series on November 30.

The women’s WarGames match was added to Survivor Series during Monday’s taped WWE Raw. Belair, Jade Cargill, Rhea Ripley, Naomi, and IYO SKY will face Jax, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LeRae at Survivor Series in the 5-on-5.

A tag team bout is also set for next week’s Raw, as The New Day’s storyline of trying to get back on the right track continues with a Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods vs. Otis and Akira Tozawa bout. That match was also set up on Monday’s episode with a backstage interaction between the two teams.

WWE ID prospect announced at Chaotic Wrestling event

A member of Chaotic Wrestling’s roster has joined the WWE ID program.

At Friday night’s Chaotic Wrestling: Breaking Point event in Andover, Massachusetts, Ricky Smokes became the fourteenth indie talent to be announced as a WWE ID prospect.

Smokes, 24, is a five-year pro who has worked almost exclusively New England-area indies since breaking in according to his Cagematch profile.

Smokes is the first of three prospect reveals set for this weekend, with two more coming Sunday. The WWE ID program is similar to the WWE NIL program in that talent who sign are given some financial support and access to WWE training resources, but are not under a full-time contract with the promotion.

Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens face-to-face set for next WWE SmackDown

The Undisputed WWE Champion will go face-to-face with his likely next challenger on next week’s SmackDown.

WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens will go face-to-face on next week’s episode in a segment set up during this week’s SmackDown.

Rhodes came to the ring and called out Owens, but SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis entered and told Rhodes that Owens crossed a line when he gave Randy Orton a piledriver last week. Aldis said that Owens had to be kept away from the building for everyone’s safety.

In response, Rhodes implored Aldis to take the ball that he was leaving in his court and set up a meeting with Owens. Owens was shown responding in a video promo posted to social media where he said that he was turned away from the building tonight, but because the “golden boy” Rhodes asked for the meeting, Aldis told Owens he was needed at the show next week.

The tournament to crown the inaugural Women’s United States Champion will also continue next week with an opening round triple threat match between Bianca Belair, Chelsea Green, and Blair Davenport.

Knockouts World title match set for next TNA Impact

A Knockouts title match with Turning Point implications is set for the Thursday, November 21 TNA Impact.

Masha Slamovich will defend her title against Alisha Edwards in a no DQ match on next week’s episode, with the winner to defend against former title holder Jordynne Grace at Turning Point on November 29.

Three more matches are set for next week’s episode as well, including the Tag Team Champions in trios action.

TNA Tag Team Champions Matt and Jeff Hardy will team with Ace Austin on next Thursday’s episode against Jake Something, Hammerstone, and Trent Seven.

Newly-minted TNA Hall of Famer Rhino will face Frankie Kazarian on next week’s show in another new match announced.

Additonally, Ash by Elegance will face one half of the Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Jody Threat.

Two matches added to TNA Turning Point

Two new matches are on tap for TNA Turning Point following Thursday’s Impact Wrestling episode.

Former Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace will receive her contractual rematch against either Alisha Edwards or current champ Masha Slamovich at Turning Point as revealed on Impact. Slamovich defends against Edwards on next Thursday’s Impact episode with a no DQ stipulation.

Also added to Turning Point, a Turkey Bowl matchup featuring Joe Hendry, Eric Young, Hammerstone, PCO, Brian Myers, and John Skyler, where the loser of the match must wear a turkey suit.

Already announced for the show, Nic Nemeth defends the TNA World Championship against Eddie Edwards.

Four AEW wrestlers announced for December 13 CMLL event

Toni Storm is among four AEW wrestlers announced for a December 13 CMLL event in Arena Mexico.

CMLL posted a video late Wednesday announcing Storm, AEW Trios Champions PAC & Claudio Castagnoli, and ROH Women’s TV Champion Red Velvet will take part in their Friday, December 13 show at Arena Mexico.

Storm and Velvet will tag against Tessa Blanchard and La Catalina. La Catalina defeated Storm at Arena Mexico in October in a singles bout.

Also announced, PAC will face Volador Jr. on December 13 in a matchup of two high-flying stars.

Castagnoli will be in action against Hechicero, an AEW regular in the early part of 2024.

Storm made her CMLL debut last month, while PAC and Castagnoli have also taken part in CMLL events this year. Red Velvet also debuted for CMLL this year as part of an October tour, including taking part in the Women’s Grand Prix for 2024.

Ricochet vs. Dante Martin set for AEW Rampage

Five matches are on tap for this Friday’s AEW Rampage, headlined by Ricochet vs. Dante Martin of Top Flight.

Friday’s show was taped Wednesday in Bridgeport, Connecticut, with the show headlined by the Ricochet vs. Martin bout — a clash of two of the great high-flyers in the industry. Ricochet is gunning for International Champion Konosuke Takeshita while Martin’s tag team has been on a cold streak in the win column.

Former ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe will be in action against Ari Daivari while Rocky Romero will face Komander.

Former AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida will take on Leila Grey with the former titleholder looking to win two straight on the Friday night staple.

LFI’s Rush & Dralistico will team up against MLW regular Richard Holliday and indie standout Alec Price.

Mina Shirakawa vs. Harley Cameron added to AEW Collision

A new match has been added to Saturday’s AEW Collision episode.

After a backstage vignette on Dynamite where the two argued, Mina Shirakawa will face Harley Cameron on the Saturday, November 16 Collision episode.

Saturday’s show is being taped Thursday night, November 14 in Albany, New York.

Already announced for the show, Mariah May will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Anna Jay in a no DQ bout where Jay cannot challenge for the title again as long as May holds it if she loses.

The final spot in the four-way Tag Team title match at Full Gear will also be decided on Collision as The Acclaimed face LFI’s Rush and The Beast Mortos.

Rounding out the announced card, Johnny TV will go one-on-one with Daniel Garcia on Collision.

Two matches booked for next week’s AEW Dynamite

Two matches have been announced for the November 20 AEW Dynamite, the go-home show for the November 23 Full Gear pay-per-view.

Before he challenges Jon Moxley for the AEW World title at Full Gear, Orange Cassidy will be in action on next week’s episode against Wheeler Yuta, Moxley’s Death Riders ally.

Another Death Rider will also be in action next week, as Claudio Castagnoli faces Darby Allin. Cassidy and Allin set a trap for Moxley and The Death Riders on Wednesday’s Dynamite, with Allin jumping out of the crowd to attack Castagnoli. A wild brawl ensued with Death Riders managing to escape before Allin and Cassidy could do too much damage.

Cassidy will challenge Moxley for the AEW World title at Full Gear on November 23, while Castagnoli and Allin are without a match for the pay-per-view to this point.

Number one contender’s match booked for next WWE NXT

An NXT Championship number one contender’s match is among the items announced for the Tuesday, November 19 WWE NXT episode.

After pinning NXT Champion Trick Williams on last week’s NXT, Ridge Holland looked next in line for the champ. Andre Chase stepped up on Tuesday’s episode and aid out the challenge to Holland for a number one contender’s match for next week’s episode, with the added stipulation that Chase will disband Chase U if he loses. The winner gets a title shot at Williams at Deadline on December 7.

Also announced for next week, Karmen Petrovic and Ashante Adonis will square off with Dion Lennox and Brinley Reece in a mixed tag team bout.

Iron Survivor Challenge qualifying matches will also continue on next week’s episode after Sol Ruca, Wes Lee, and Je’Von Evans won their qualifiers this week.

WWE NXT reveals location for December 17 episode

WWE NXT is hitting the road for the Tuesday, December 17 episode of the program on The CW.

The promotion revealed during this week’s episode that the Tuesday, December 17 NXT TV episode will air live from Lowell, Massachusetts at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium.

A ticket pre-sale has been announced for Tuesday, November 19 with the password NXTLIVE, with standard on-sale is set for Wednesday, November 20.

The December 17 date in Lowell will be the third time NXT has taken to the road for its weekly television since moving to The CW on October 1. The premiere episode on October 1 was held in suburban Chicago at Allstate Arena, while the October 8 show was held in Chesterfield, Missouri. The WWE Performance Center in Orlando is the regular Tuesday home of the weekly television show.

Lowell hosted the NXT Battleground PLE in May 2023, and is a regular stop for NJPW when running shows in America, as last Friday’s Fighting Spirit Unleashed pay-per-view aired from the city as well.

Karmen Petrovic vs. Sumie Sakai added to Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XII

Another new match is set for Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XII, this one featuring a WWE NXT talent and a legend of Japanese women’s wrestling.

As Barnett revealed Tuesday night in a social media post, WWE NXT’s Karmen Petrovic will face Sumie Sakai at Bloodsport on November 24.

Sakai, 52, is a 27-year veteran who has held over a dozen titles in promotions throughout the world, while Petrovic, 29, is still looking to make her mark in the wrestling world.

Barnett wrote:

Seth Rollins vs. Bronson Reed booked for next WWE Raw

Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed will run it back on next week’s WWE Raw.

After another confrontation between the two on this week’s episode, Rollins demanded a match with Reed for next week from Raw GM Adam Pearce, and the match was made official.

Two more matches are set for the November 18 Raw, including an Intercontinental title bout.

Bron Breakker will defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Sheamus on next week’s episode. The bout stems from a match on Speed between the two that went to a time limit draw and a subsequent backstage interaction on Monday’s Raw.

Also added to the lineup, Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega will team against Chad Gable and Ivy Nile of American Made.

Next week’s Raw is being taped this Monday night November 11. Spoilers from the show will be available on the site.
