Killer Kelly releases statement on TNA departure

Killer Kelly has released a statement regarding her departure from TNA Wrestling.

Kelly last wrestled for the promotion at its tapings in El Paso, Texas, on December 6-7, 2025. In her statement, Kelly said she was offered a contract extension but ultimately “decided not to go that route.” She thanked TNA Wrestling and stated she’s available for bookings.

Kelly’s statement reads:

“My time with TNA has come to an end.
I know this is a long time coming, but y’all deserve to read something coming from me.
A contract extension was offered, but in the end we’ve decided not to go that route. And that’s totally fine!
I love TNA, and my time there was full of ups, and very few downs. I’ve been apart of this amazing team and I’m really thankful for that, especially for the lifelong friends I’ve made along the way.
I’ve grew so much as a performer/ wrestler, the team made me look like an absolute superstar with my promos (which were the f*cking coolest ever), and I had the opportunity to make history with the FIRST EVER Women’s Dog Collar match on tv. We weren’t allowed to bleed because someone used all the blood tokens (you all know who he is ahahah), but we still did a really great job, made history and will definitely go down as one of the best storylines/ tag team creations of all of TNA.
I wish I could’ve done much more than to be part of the longest reigning TNA knockouts tag team champions (which is so cool), but that’s ok! I’ve done plenty, and I’m really proud of myself and so happy that I was allowed to do and create so much. I also gave my all, don’t get me wrong, especially coming back 7 months after having a baby and going straight to having a Chain Match (another first ever!!!), so I’ll definitely pat my own back for a little bit.
But mainly, I want to thank Scott, Gail, Tommy, Bravo and Ingrid for helping bring me to the United States, bet on me and help me make history. Also thank you to Jimmy, Robert and Hunter for making me look the like baddest ass in the whole planet. And Basil for getting me into the door!
But I’m not done yet, and you’ll definitely see me on TV soon 🩸
I’m also available for bookings, worldwide kellywrestling@gmail – [email protected]

Kelly joined TNA Wrestling full-time in 2022 and is a two-time Knockouts tag team champion along with Masha Slamovich as MK Ultra. She also challenged her former partner for the Knockouts World title on June 20, 2025, in a Dog Collar match, won by Slamovich.

Kelly is engaged to new AEW-signee Myron Reed of The Rascalz. The couple welcomed their first child together in November 2024. Her statement is below:

Report: TNA wrestler gone following contract expiration

Killer Kelly is reportedly gone from TNA.

Fightful Select reported on Saturday that Kelly’s contract with the company expired in December and as a result, has left the company. They additionally said that there weren’’t any creative plans for her currently.

Kelly’s contract had been extended after taking maternity leave in 2024, making her return at Against All Odds last June.. Her last matches took place during TNA’s recent television tapings in El Paso, where she lost to the likes of Myla Grace and The IInspiration. Since making her return, she had been teaming with Rosemary.

The timing of Kelly’s departure comes as a number of other contracts in the company are either coming up or have expired. Jake Something recently left the company to join AEW, where he became the newest member of the Don Callis Family. Joe Hendry, who had already been making frequent appearances on NXT, left TNA towards the end of 2025 to sign with WWE.

Joining TNA in 2020, Kelly won the TNA Knockouts Tag Team titles twice with Masha Slamovich during her time in the company.

BVV: TNA Impact with Masha-Kelly chain match

In a week focused more on promos than in-ring action, it was two former partners battling for the Knockouts title that stole the show. Masha Slamovich vs. Killer Kelly wasn’t pretty, but it was intense, physical, and dramatic, with a championship at stake.

The rest of the show was filled with short matches, promos, and angles building to Slammiversary on July 20, including a confrontation between Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali; Jacy Jayne and Fatal Influence from NXT making their presence known; Matt Cardona continuing to cause problems for the System; the Home Town Man being attacked and unmasked backstage; an incredibly great Leon Slater personality video; Steve Maclin finding two challengers for the International championship; Nic Nemeth meeting Zachary Wentz in a fun but meaningless battle; and much-hyped King’s Speech segment with Frankie Kazarian stirring the pot for Slammiversary main eventers Trick Williams, Joe Hendry, and Mike Santana. Come join the fun in the Big Vinny V Show!

A video recap and the usual opening video and “Cross the Line” theme plays to get the show started. Footage is then shown of Joe Hendry’s vow to recapture the TNA World Championship from Trick Williams at TNA Slammiversary.

Tom Hannifan Announces New TNA Slammiversary Main Event

Inside the Impact Zone, Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt welcome fans to the show. They then announce the updated main event for TNA Slammiversary, with Trick Williams now defending the TNA World Championship against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana in triple-threat action.

The IInspiration (Cassie Lee & Jessie McKay) vs. Tessa Blanchard & Victoria Crawford

The theme for Indi Hartwell hits and the former WWE NXT Superstar makes her way out to join Hannifan and Rehwoldt on guest commentary for the opening match of the evening. The theme for The IInspiration plays and out comes Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay for the first match of the show.

After Lee and McKay settle in the ring, their music dies down and the lights dim down. Tessa Blanchard’s entrance tune plays and the lights come back on. Out comes Blanchard and her partner for this tag-team contest, Victoria Crawford.

McKay and Crawford kicked things off for their respective teams at the sound of the opening bell. Crawford backed McKay into the corner. McKay turns Crawford and chokes her. She takes Crawford down and rolls into a pin attempt, but only gets a two-count.

McKay tags in Lee, and the two hit a double-team spot before stopping and doing a double pose. Indi Hartwell mentions on commentary about how she was one of many who were inspired by The IInspiration growing up. They knock Blanchard off the apron, and she’s not happy.

Blanchard tags in, but Lee gets the better of their initial exchange. Blanchard, however, quickly takes over, sending Lee to the mat and choking her over the bottom rope. After Blanchard and Crawford enjoy some time in the lead, things come unglued at the end.

On the floor, Blanchard ends up losing focus on the match and getting into a shouting match with Hartwell. The IInspiration hit a double-team spot on Crawford in the ring for the victory. Afterwards, Blanchard and Hartwell have a wild pull-apart. Hartwell says they will do battle at Slammiversary.

Match Result: The IInspiration defeated Tessa Blanchard & Victoria Crawford

Tom Hannifan Makes TNA Slammiversary Announcements

The show heads to a commercial break after Hannifan and Rehwoldt run down the advertised lineup for the evening. When the show returns, Hannifan is shown on-camera to announce a new pair of matches for the next TNA pay-per-view.

Hannifan announced that The IInspiration vs. The Elegance Brand for the TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Championships is now official for TNA Slammiversary. Also added to the lineup for the special event on July 20 at UBS Arena in Long Island, New York is Indi Hartwell vs. Tessa Blanchard.

Mustafa Ali & “PRIME” Cedric Alexander Stroll Down Memory Lane

Inside the Impact Zone, Tasha Steelz is in the ring. She mentions calling the one man she knew could help talk to Mustafa Ali about the way things have been going lately. She mentioned that the man was “PRIME” Cedric Alexander.

Steelz introduces Alexander, who makes his way out to the ring. Also coming out is the Order 4 leader himself, Mustafa Ali. The two stand together in the ring with Steelz. Alexander talks about coming here to help him.

Alexander asks if Ali remembers 205 Live. He says they were the heart and soul of that division in WWE years ago. Ali tells him he doesn’t want his help. He uses profane language that is censored off the broadcast in doing so.

Ali then challenges Alexander to a match at Slammiversary. Alexander says if he want to take things that way, he’s fine beating his ass. Ali tries hitting him with a cheap shot, but Alexander gets the better of him. Security hits the ring but ends up beaten down by Alexander and The Great Hands, with Ali watching on.

TNA Knockouts Championship (Chain Match)
Masha Slamovich (c) vs. Killer Kelly

The show heads to another commercial break after the Alexander-Ali segment wrapped up. When the show returned, an extended pay-per-view-style pre-match video package aired to tell the story behind the upcoming battle of former MK Ultra partners and friends.

The package wraps up and the lights in the Impact Zone go out. The the dark red lights come on and out comes Killer Kelly. She crawls around with a chain as she heads inside the squared circle. The theme for her opponent, Masha Slamovich, hits next.

Reigning TNA Knockouts Champion Slamovich then joins Kelly in the ring. The two are securely connected to the chain and then the bell sounds and things get officially off-and-running. Kelly crawls to the middle of the ring and looks up at Slamovich.

After the initial exchange, the action quickly spills out to the floor. The chain is used by a weapon by both, and then Kelly sets up a pulley-system type of setup with the chain hanging over the ring post to choke Slamovich. The show heads into a mid-match commercial break.

When the show returns, Slamovich takes over control of the offense. She violently slams Kelly’s face into the steel steps over and over and over again. She drags her up to the top of the entrance area, but Kelly counters and slams her on the steel ramp.

Kelly chokes Slamovich with the chain around her throat before suplexing her on the ramp. After the action resumes back in the ring, Slamovich takes over and chokes Kelly out with the chain for the win to retain her title.

Afterwards, Fatal Influence trio Jacy Jane, Jazmyn Nyx and Fallon Henley hit the ring and beat Masha down. Lee Ying Lei and Xia Brookside run down to make the save, chasing off the WWE NXT trio to wrap up the brief post-match scene.

Match Result: Masha Slamovich defeated Killer Kelly to retain the TNA Knockouts Championship

Eric Young Tells The Northern Armory They Need To Prove Themselves

Footage is shown of Eric Young getting into a physical altercation with a fan once again at last week’s show. The digital exclusive video is shown of Young being ejected from the building and arguing with “The Home Town Man” about really being Cody Deaner on the way out.

Back live, Young is shown backstage with The Northern Armory duo of Judas Icarus and Travis Williams. He blames them for his embarrassment and says they made matters worse by losing to The Hardy Boys. They assure him they’ll do whatever it takes to make it up. Young says prove it.

TNA Injury Report On Trey Miguel, Xia Brookside & AJ Francis

Tom Hannifan checks in with this week’s TNA Injury Report presented by Bioflex. Trey Miguel has a hernia issue. There is no timetable for his return.

Xia Brookside has reaggravated a knee injury and is “day to day” at this time. AJ Francis was banged up after his match last week, but is not expected to miss any time. The show heads to another break.

Matt Cardona vs. Eddie Edwards (w/ Alisha Edwards)

When the show returned from the break, a quick Mike Santana promo from a stairwell was shown. He talks about the voice of the fans forcing TNA management to add him to the Trick Williams vs. Joe Hendry match for the TNA World Championship at TNA Slammiversary. He vows to bring the title home.

Back inside the Impact Zone, the theme for The System hits. Out comes Eddie Edwards accompanied by Alisha Edwards for the next match of the evening. His music dies down and “Alwayz Ready” Matt Cardona emerges next.

Cardona settles in the ring and the bell sounds. Cardona and Edwards immediately collide, with “The Indy God” taking the early offensive lead and slamming Edwards down to the mat. He misses a high spot off the ropes, however, and Edwards takes over.

Alisha is shown trying to sneak The System ring in to Eddie, but Brian Myers comes out and stops him from using it. This allows Cardona to roll Edwards up from behind for the win. After the match, the lights go out. WWE NXT group Dark State hits the ring and attacks Cardona.

Match Result: Matt Cardona defeated Eddie Edwards

Mance Warner (w/ Steph De Lander) vs. Jake Something

Backstage, Sami Callihan is shown tending to “The Home Town Man” who is down and having his face covered by a towel to “protect his identity.” Callihan yells for help.

After this, the Leon Slater digital exclusive package airs, which tells the story of Slater’s young journey into wrestling following family and life hardships.

Inside the Impact Zone, TNA International Champion Steve Maclin’s theme hits. Out he comes to join Hannifan and Rehwoldt on commentary for the next match of the evening. Mance Warner comes out accompanied by Steph De Lander.

The duo kiss and settle in the ring, where Warner will be in one-on-one competition. His opponent, the returning Jake Something, makes his way out after his surprise comeback appearance last week. The bell sounds to get things started.

After some early action, we see things spill out to the floor. Something has not-so-friendly words with Maclin at the commentary desk. He goes back to work on Warner. Warner takes over and does the same, arguing with Maclin.

Maclin ends up losing his cool and getting physically involved, leading to a big impromptu three-man brawl at ringside that many, many security guards struggle to break up. The match is ruled a no contest. The show heads to a break.

When the show returns, they are still brawling backstage. It is announced that the three will do battle with the TNA International Championship on the line on next week’s episode of TNA Impact on July 10.

Match Result: No Contest

Nic Nemeth (w/ Ryan Nemeth) vs. Zachary Wentz (w/ Myron Reed)

Inside the Impact Zone once again, the lights go out. The familiar sounds of The Rascalz’ theme hits and out comes Zachary Wentz. It is once again mentioned that due to an injury to Trey Miguel, Wentz is filling in for the next match of the evening.

Wentz makes his way out to the ring, but he is not alone. With him is a Rascalz original, Myron Reed, who is back on the scene in TNA Wrestling now. After settling in the ring, the entrance tune for Nic Nemeth hits. Out comes “The Wanted Man” and his brother, Ryan Nemeth.

The bell sounds and things get started, with Wentz finding some good early offensive success. It isn’t long, however, before “The Hollywood Hunk” starts inserting himself into the match from the ringside area. This allows his “Big brothhhhherrrrrr” to take over again on offense.

The show heads into a mid-match commercial break as the action continues. When the show returns, we see Wentz is firing up once again on offense. Things continue looking good for Wentz until yet again, Ryan Nemeth interferes, leading to Nic hitting Danger Zone for the win.

Match Result: Nic Nemeth defeated Zachary Wentz

King’s Speech with Frankie Kazarian, Trick Williams, Joe Hendry & Mike Santana

It’s main event (segment) time!

After the commentary duo of Hannifan and Rehwoldt run down the updated lineup for TNA Slammiversary, they announce matches for next week’s episode of TNA Impact on July 10 (see match listing below).

From there, the self-proclaimed “King of TNA” makes his way out to the ring. Frankie Kazarian settles inside the squared circle and hops on the microphone for the debut installment of his new talk show segment, King’s Speech.

Kazarian boasts a bit as always, and then begins introducing his guests. Joe Hendry comes out first, and then Mike Santana, followed by the reigning TNA World Champion Trick Williams. All three will compete with the title on-the-line at TNA Slammiversary.

Each guy takes a turn on the mic stating their case and why they are going to win at TNA Slammiversary on July 20, with things ultimately culminating in a giant melee involving all four guys. When all was said and done, Williams and Kazarian laid out Hendry and Santana. That’s how this week’s show ended.

Next Week On TNA Impact (7/10/2025)
* The Elegance Brand vs. Harley Hudson & Myla Grace
* Jacy Jane & Fallon Henley vs. Lei Ying Lee & Masha Slamovich
* The Rascalz & The Hardys vs. First Class & The Nemeths

TNA Against All Odds notes: Trick Williams, Director of Authority, Killer Kelly

Notes from Friday’s TNA Against All Odds event.

Santino Marella defeated Robert Stone in the co-main event of the TNA+ special to retain his Director of Authority position. Despite Stone paying off special guest referee Matt Cardona in an earlier segment, Cardona kept it down the middle. Arianna Grace at ringside helped her father by throwing Stone off the turnbuckle and gave Santino a second cobra, allowing him to hit his finish on Stone for the win.

In the main event. Trick Williams retained the TNA title over Elijah thanks to the help of AJ Francis, who came to ringside towards the end of the match. He initially teased introducing Elijah’s guitar into the ring, but this was a distraction that allowed Williams to take the TNA title and blast it across Elijah’s face. Elijah did kick out, but Williams ended up sending Elijah into an exposed turnbuckle then hit the trickshot for the win.

It was a night of returns in the Knockouts division, as The IInspiration made their return during the pre-show. Killer Kelly also made her return to TNA, coming to the ring after former tag team partner Masha Slamovich retained the Knockouts title. Kelly had a chain and laid it on the floor in front of Slamovich before leaving.

Kelly took time off last year from TNA and later announced in November the birth of her and Myron Reed’s baby girl.

Killer Kelly & Myron Reed announce pregnancy

Killer Kelly and Myron Reed are expecting a child.

Kelly announced on Monday that she is pregnant. She says the couple originally tried to keep the news private but later decided to go public with it.

“From daddy… to future mommy 🖤 We tried our best to keep this private but then we said “f-ck it” and decided to share these news with the world! It was finally time to share our happiness with all of you. Still surreal, but we are definitely on cloud 9 and can’t wait to be parents to this KILLER GOAT baby 🖤 I love you @reeds.world”

Back in March, it was reported that Kelly was taking time away from TNA Wrestling but was not leaving the company. Her and Masha Slamovich dropped the Knockouts tag titles to Dani Luna and Jody Threat at Sacrifice.

Reed is coming off wrestling Matt Riddle on REVOLVER’s Taste of Truth PPV on August 24.

Killer Kelly taking time away from TNA Wrestling, but still with company

Despite a report that spread Saturday night that Killer Kelly was leaving TNA Wrestling, the member of the Knockouts division is sticking around but taking some time off.

PWInsider first reported Kelly had “finished up” after March’s Sacrifice with the company expected to pair someone new with MK Ultra teammate Masha Slamovich instead.

On Sunday, Fightful cleared things up, reporting that she is still under contract through August 2025 and despite not appearing at this past weekend’s TV tapings in Philadelphia, she is taking some time off and is not part of any current creative plans.

She was in the news this month as starring in an upcoming short horror film by Luke Paron called “Arachnid.”

Kelly first debuted for the promotion in late-2020 when TNA was filming at Skyway Studios in Nashville. She returned and became a regular with the company in July 2022. She is a two-time Knockouts Tag Team Champion.

Bully Ray vs. Black Taurus no DQ match added to Impact Wrestling

If you somehow had Bully Ray vs. Black Taurus in a no DQ match on your 2023 wrestling bingo card, that will hit this Thursday on Impact on AXS TV.

The bout was made following the events of last Thursday when both men were on opposite ends of a trios match where Ray, Moose & Brian Myers got a win over Taurus, Laredo Kid & Samuray Del Sol. Ray was eventually run off by the returning PCO.

Ray will be looking for his first singles win since a March victory over Tommy Dreamer at Sacrifice which was also the last time he competed in the singles division. While primarily a tag team wrestler, Taurus hasn’t had a singles win since last December over Anthony Greene.

In another newly-announced match, it will be Jessicka vs. Savannah Evans vs. Killer Kelly. Both Evans and Jessicka will be part of a four-way for Kelly & Masha Slamovich’s Knockouts Tag Team titles at this month’s Emergence streaming special.

This Thursday’s show will be the go-home for the following Sunday’s Impact x NJPW Multiverse United 2 pay-per-view.

Here’s the current lineup:

  • Eric Young vs. Kon (w/ Deaner)
  • Rich Swann & Sami Callihan vs. The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) in a no. 1 contenders’ tournament final
  • Deonna Purrazzo vs. KiLynn King (w/ Taylor Wilde)
  • Bully Ray vs. Black Taurus in a no DQ match
  • Killer Kelly vs. Jessicka vs. Savannah Evans

Knockouts Tag Team title match at Impact Emergence now a four-way

Masha Slamovich & Killer Kelly will now have three other teams to contend with when they defend the Knockouts Tag Team titles at Impact Emergence.

The streaming special is set for Sunday, August 27th from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Originally set to be Slamovich & Kelly defending for the first time against Gisele Shaw & Savannah Evans, the events of Thursday’s Impact on AXS TV caused Director of Authority Santino Marella to make the match a four-way that will include former champions The Death Dollz (Jessicka & Courtney Rush) and former champions The Coven (KiLynn King & Taylor Wilde).

Slamovich & Kelly defeated King & Wilde for the titles at last month’s Slammiversary.

Here’s the current card for the show:

  • IWGP World Heavyweight Champion SANADA in action
  • Impact Knockouts Champion Trinity defends against Deonna Purrazzo
  • Impact World Champion Alex Shelley, KUSHIDA, Chris Sabin & Josh Alexander vs. Bully Ray, Moose, Brian Myers & X-Division Champion Lio Rush
  • Knockouts Tag Team Champions Masha Slamovich & Killer Kelly defend against Gisele Shaw & Savannah Evans, The Death Dollz (Jessicka & Courtney Rush) and The Coven (KiLynn King & Taylor Wilde)

Knockouts Tag Team title match added to Impact Emergence

New Knockouts Tag Team Champions Masha Slamovich & Killer Kelly are set to put their titles on the line at Emergence.

Impact Wrestling has announced that Slamovich & Kelly will defend the titles against Gisele Shaw & Savannah Evans at Emergence on Sunday, August 27. The show is airing live on Impact Plus, Impact’s Ultimate Insiders YouTube service, and Fite TV.

Slamovich & Kelly were crowned the new Impact Knockouts Tag Team Champions last month, winning the titles from Taylor Wilde & KiLynn King at Slammiversary.

After a backstage confrontation between the teams the previous week, Shaw defeated Slamovich in a singles match on Impact last Thursday. Shaw won after interference from SHAWntourage member Jai Vidal.

Emergence will take place from Rebel Entertainment Complex in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Here’s everything that’s been announced for the show so far:

  • IWGP World Heavyweight Champion SANADA in action
  • Impact Knockouts Champion Trinity defends against Deonna Purrazzo
  • Alex Shelley, KUSHIDA, Chris Sabin & Josh Alexander vs. Bully Ray, Moose, Brian Myers & Lio Rush
  • Knockouts Tag Team Champions Masha Slamovich & Killer Kelly defend against Gisele Shaw & Savannah Evans

Trinity, Lio Rush & Subculture highlight multiple title changes at Impact Slammiversary

Impact Wrestling made their Slammiversary pay-per-view a newsworthy one with plenty of title changes.

In the night’s co-main event, Trinity (the former Naomi in WWE) defeated Deonna Purrazzo to kick off her first run as Knockouts Champion.

Trinity got the victory following a series of headbutts, a full nelson bomb off the middle rope, and then Starstruck for the submission victory.

It’s the first major singles title for Trinity since her second run as WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion ended in 2017. After eventually gaining her WWE release, Trinity debuted with Impact in March of this year and is now 5-0 in her new home.

The win ends the three-month reign of Purrazzo who began her third run with the title back in April.

**********

In another high-profile change, Lio Rush defeated Chris Sabin to kick off his first-ever run as X-Division Champion.

The result didn’t come without controversy as Rush attacked Sabin before the match, hitting a suicide dive that drove Sabin into the ramp that he sold as being knocked out. After an Impact doctor suggested he not wrestle, he continued and Rush eventually finished him off with two Final Hours to get the win and title.

Sabin had defeated Trey Miguel last month to begin his ninth reign.

Rush’s first challenger for the X-Division title is likely to be KUSHIDA who won an Ultimate X match to earn a future title shot. The former NJPW star picked up the win after punching Alan Angels in the face, knocking him off the ropes to get the victory.

Rush and KUSHIDA are scheduled for a match on Sunday’s TV taping.

Not only did Eric Young make his surprise return to the company Saturday, so did Jake Something. Something was a surprise entrant in the aforementioned Ultimate X match.

**********

Right afterward, Subculture (Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster) won their first-ever Impact Tag Team titles by winning a four-way that included now-former champions Ace Austin & Chris Bey, Moose & Brian Myers, and Sami Callihan & Rich Swann.

Predictably, The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) got involved after failing to gain entry into the match despite the stipulation of Wentz defeating Bey last Thursday to earn the opportunity.

Wentz and Miguel prevented Bey from landing the Art of Finesse on Myers, pulling Bey and Austin outside the ring. Webster took out everyone on the outside of the ring with the exception of Myers who was hit by an Andrews’ shooting star press for the win and title change.

This was the first win in Impact for the former WWE NXT Tag Team Champions.

**********

The multi-month run for Digital Media Champion Joe Hendry has ended as Kenny King defeated him Saturday for the title.

King took home the win thanks to the aid of Sheldon Jean who held onto King’s feet while they were on the ropes, giving him the additional leverage he needed to get the pin and title change.

This is King’s first Impact title of any kind since his second X-Division title run ended in 2015. Since winning the title in November 2022, Hendry had successfully defended the title 13 times.

**********

Masha Slamovich & Killer Kelly are leaving Windsor, Ontario, Canada, as the new Knockouts Tag Team Champions.

The duo defeated The Coven (Taylor Wilde & KiLynn King) to win the titles, their first in Impact. The end came when Slamovich countered a Witch’s Wrath with a snowplow for pin and win.

Wilde and King’s reign ends after just three successful title defenses dating back to February when they first won the titles.

Knockouts Tag Team title match added to Impact Slammiversary

A new championship match has been confirmed for Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary pay-per-view.

Knockouts Tag Team Champions The Coven (Taylor Wilde & KiLynn King) will put their titles on the line against Masha Slamovich & Killer Kelly at the Saturday, July 15 event. It’s taking place at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Slamovich and Kelly aligned together after facing off in a dog collar match at Against All Odds last month. They’ve defeated the Knockouts tag champs in singles action over the past couple of weeks.

Two weeks ago, Kelly defeated Wilde on Impact. Slamovich then saved Kelly from a post-match attack, joining forces with her former rival.

Slamovich defeated King last week after Kelly helped neutralize interference by Wilde.

Wilde & King won the Knockouts Tag Team titles from Taya Valkyrie & Rosemary this February.

Here’s the updated card for Slammiversary:

  • Impact World Champion Alex Shelley defends against Nick Aldis
  • Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo defends against Trinity
  • X-Division Champion Chris Sabin defends against Lio Rush
  • Steve Maclin & Bully Ray vs. PCO & Scott D’Amore with former NHL player Darren McCarty as special enforcer
  • Impact Tag Team Champions ABC (Chris Bey & Ace Austin) defend against Sami Callihan & Rich Swann, Brian Myers & Moose, and Subculture (Flash Morgan Webster & Mark Andrews) in a four-way match
  • Ultimate X match: Mike Bailey vs. Jonathan Gresham vs. Angels vs. Kevin Knight vs. KUSHIDA
  • Knockouts Tag Team Champions The Coven (Taylor Wilde & KiLynn King) defend against Masha Slamovich & Killer Kelly

Killer Kelly added to title eliminator match at Impact Hard to Kill

A three-way Knockouts title eliminator match at this month’s Impact Hard to Kill got a big more dangerous Thursday with the addition of a new competitor.

Killer Kelly will now join the match that also includes former champions Deonna Purrazzo and Taylor Wilde in addition to former title challenger Masha Slamovich.

The match is part of the Friday, January 13th pay-per-view in Atlanta, Georgia, and will be Kelly’s first match in the company since November.

In a preview, Slamovich will take on Wilde on Thursday’s Impact on AXS.

Here’s the current lineup for next Friday:

  • Impact World Champion Josh Alexander defends against Bully Ray in a Full Metal Mayhem match
  • Impact Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace defends against Mickie James in a title vs. career match
  • Impact Tag Team Champions Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) defend against The Major Players (Matt Cardona & Brian Myers), Bullet Club (Chris Bey & Ace Austin), and Heath & Rhino in an elimination match
  • Impact X-Division Champion Trey Miguel defends against Black Taurus
  • Impact Digital Media Champion Joe Hendry defends against Moose
  • Jonathan Gresham vs. Eddie Edwards
  • Number one contender’s match: Masha Slamovich vs. Taylor Wilde vs. Deonna Purrazzo vs. Killer Kelly

Bryan Alvarez & Billie Starkz vs. Tom Lawlor & Killer Kelly set for GCW/BLP 4 Cups Stuffed

Bryan Alvarez is returning to the ring All Out weekend.

Game Changer Wrestling confirmed Monday night that Alvarez will team with Billie Starkz to take on the team of Tom Lawlor and Killer Kelly. The show, which will be a collaboration between Black Label Pro and GCW, will take place at the Grand Sports Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois on September 2 during All Out weekend.

The match was made following events that took place on Monday’s Filthy Four Daily. Lawlor took offense to Alvarez claiming responsibility for his victory over Toru Yano in the G1 Climax tournament. Lawlor eventually challenged Alvarez to a match where he would team with Debbie Malenko to take on Alvarez and Starkz.

Alvarez texted Malenko to offer her the match. However, Alvarez calimed that she couldn’t be in Chicago that weekend. Lawlor said he would have a new tag team partner by the end of the show, eventually revealing Kelly as his teammate.

Alvarez last wrestled in 2019, where he and Lawlor teamed up in a losing effort against Nick Gage and Thomas Santell at Beyond Wrestling Americanrana on July 28.

X-Division title match, Killer Kelly return set for next week’s Impact Wrestling

An X-Division title match, the return of Killer Kelly, and Mia Yim vs. Madison Rayne have been announced for next week’s Impact Wrestling.

X-Division Champion “Speedball” Mike Bailey will defend the title against Rocky Romero with the winner defending the title against the returning Jack Evans the next night at Emergence.

Killer Kelly will return to an Impact ring for the first time in two years, facing Tiffany Nieves.

Mia Yim will face Madison Rayne in a Knockouts division match. Yim will challenge Jordynne Grace for the Impact Knockouts title at Emergence. Rayne’s signing with AEW was announced this week, and it was revealed on Thursday’s Dark: Elevation that she has been given the title of head women’s coach in AEW.

KUSHIDA and Deaner will face off in a singles match next week, a day before the two are on opposite sides of a tag match at Emergence.

Bullet Club’s Karl Anderson will face Honor No More’s Kenny King ahead of Honor No More facing Bullet Club in a ten-man tag at Emergence.

A contract signing for the Emergence World title match between Josh Alexander and Alex Shelley will also take place next week.
