Does GCW Amerika’s Most Wanted clash with any other wrestling shows?
It runs the night before AEW Forbidden Door 2026, which takes place on June 28th at the SAP Center in San Jose. Fans on the West Coast can realistically catch both, which is part of why GCW tends to schedule LA dates around major AEW weekends.
Game Changer Wrestling began a tour of Japan on Monday, but two wrestlers who were scheduled to be there were unable to attend.
The indie promotion announced that TNA star Masha Slamovich and mini luchador Microman could not make the trip over to Japan due to travel issues. The three-show tour began today at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday with events at Tokyo Square and Korakuen Hall.
Slamovich was the TNA Knockouts World Champion prior to recently dropping the belt to NXT’s Jacy Jayne at TNA Slammiversary. That was a title vs. title match where both the Knockouts Championship and NXT Women’s Championship were on the line.
Along with her TNA work, Slamovich is the World Champion of GCW’s sister brand Jersey Championship Wrestling. She was scheduled to defend the title against 1 Called Manders at today’s show. Instead, there was a non-title match with Manders facing Kazusada Higuchi of DDT Pro Wrestling.
Miyu Yamashita and Mao will be replacing Slamovich in her remaining matches on the tour. It will be Yamashita, Shotzi Blackheart & Dark Sheik vs. Super Crazy, Jordan Oliver & Alec Price on Tuesday, then Mao & Rina Yamashita vs. Oliver & Price on Wednesday.
Replacements for Microman’s remaining matches have not been announced yet. He’s a freelancer in Mexico and the United States and had previously worked for MLW.
Due to travel issues, Masha Slamovich & Microman will be unable to attend this weeks events in Japan.
Masha will be replaced by: 7/28: Kazusada Higuchi (vs Manders) 7/29: Miyu Yamashita (w/ Shotzi & Sheik vs YDNP/Super Crazy) 7/30: Mao (w/Rina vs YDNP)

The three GCW shows from this week’s Japan tour are not being broadcast live but are still airing on TrillerTV+ later in the night on the same day that they take place.
The Hardy Boyz are set to make an appearance for Game Changer Wrestling during SummerSlam weekend in New Jersey.
GCW has announced Matt & Jeff Hardy for the promotion’s Hit Em Up show on Friday, August 1. It’s stated that The Hardys will be appearing live, but there are no opponents announced or confirmation on whether Matt & Jeff will be competing.
The GCW show is being held at Williams Center in Rutherford, New Jersey and will air live on TrillerTV+.

Jeff Hardy debuted for GCW with an appearance in 2023 while his brother Matt worked a couple of dates for the indie group in 2024. Back in April of this year, the two defeated D-Von Dudley’s sons Terrell & Terrence at a For The Culture event that GCW was involved in promoting.
The Hardys will also be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans at WrestleCon’s SummerSlam weekend convention in Newark, New Jersey on August 1-2. After that, they’ll be in Maine on August 9 to wrestle for indie promotion Limitless Wrestling.
At TNA Slammiversary last night, The Hardys won a four-way ladder match to become the new TNA Tag Team Champions. There was then an angle setting up that Matt & Jeff will face The Dudley Boyz for one final time at TNA Bound for Glory this October.
An NXT vs. Stardom matchup is the newest addition to the card for Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII.
NXT’s Karmen Petrovic will face off against Stardom wrestler Maika at the April 17 Bloodsport event in Las Vegas. Presented by Josh Barnett and Game Changer Wrestling, the show is happening on the Thursday of WrestleMania week. It will air live on TrillerTV+.
Coming off a victory over Sumie Sakai last November, this will be Petrovic’s second time competing at Bloodsport. Maika is making her Bloodsport debut.
Petrovic joined the WWE Performance Center in 2022 and has a background in karate. Maika made her pro wrestling debut in 2019 and is a multi-time champion for Stardom.
Barnett hyped the match by questioning whether Petrovic’s karate style or Maika’s judo skills will prevail:
Karate vs Judo!
Karmen had an electric debut at Bloodsport XII in Jersey City with her lightning like kick KO.
Maika is looking to use her Judo skills to hit her opponents with the earth, and take their arm home as a souvenir.

In addition to Petrovic wrestling at Bloodsport, WWE wrestlers Natalya, Pete Dunne, Karrion Kross, and Charlie Dempsey will be competing. There have been four matches confirmed so far. The show has a start time of 11 p.m. Eastern/8 p.m. Pacific.

Game Changer Wrestling is heading to unfamiliar territory this October.
The indie promotion will make its Alaska debut with an event taking place in Anchorage on Saturday, October 4. The show is being held at the Arctic Rec Center and will air live via TrillerTV+, with GCW noting that ticket information and other details will be announced soon.

GCW comes to ALASKA for the first time in October 2025!
While Alaska may not be thought of as a traditional wrestling hotbed, it is home to the promotion/training school 907 Pro Wrestling. New Jersey-based indie WrestlePro has made consistent trips to the state since 2019 as well.
The most recent WWE show to take place in Alaska was a 2017 live event in Anchorage.
It was also announced last night that GCW is heading to Arkansas for the first time ever this summer. That show is being held in Little Rock on Friday, June 20 with The Hall on West 9th St. serving as the venue.

NJPW star Zack Sabre Jr. is coming to the United States next month to work a couple of dates for Game Changer Wrestling.
Sabre will be in action for the indie promotion in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, March 1 and Mesa, Arizona on Sunday, March 2. He’s returning to GCW for the first time since 2023. Opponents for Sabre have not been announced yet.
*BREAKING*
ZACK SABRE JR returns to GCW on March 1st and 2nd in LOS ANGELES and PHOENIX!
The Los Angeles event is titled “The Coldest Winter 3” and is taking place from the Ukrainian Cultural Center. “Just Being Honest” is the name of the Mesa show, which is being held at The Nile Theater. Both shows will air live via TrillerTV+.
At the New Beginning in Osaka earlier this week, Sabre’s four-month reign as IWGP World Heavyweight Champion came to an end when he was dethroned by Hirooki Goto. Sabre will have the chance to earn a rematch against Goto when he competes in New Japan Cup 2025.
Sabre made his GCW in May 2023 with a victory over Tony Deppen. He also defeated Jordan Oliver and Nick Gage in matches for GCW that year.
Three years after debuting at the venue, Game Changer Wrestling is returning to the Hammerstein Ballroom.
The promotion confirmed today that “The People vs. GCW” will take place from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Plans for the event were first reported by Dave Meltzer last week in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
When GCW first ran the Hammerstein Ballroom in January 2022, the show received mixed-to-negative reviews, in part because outsiders like Jeff Jarrett and Ruby Soho defeated established GCW talent in Effy and Allie Katch. Those negative reviews — with a theme of wanting to re-write history — were referenced in GCW’s announcement video for this event.
A ticket pre-sale begins on GCW’s Patreon at 5 p.m. Eastern time tonight with tickets then going on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. tomorrow (October 18). No matches for the show have been announced yet.
Starting with ECW holding shows at the venue, the Hammerstein Ballroom has been a popular destination for pro wrestling in New York City over the past couple of decades. It’s also hosted ROH events and was the venue for WWE’s ECW One Night Stand pay-per-views in both 2005 and 2006.
Up next for GCW will be No Compadre at Chicago’s Thalia Hall on January 12. Mustafa Ali is set to make his promotional debut on the card as he wrestles Gringo Loco. Andrade El Idolo is also booked to wrestle Jonathan Gresham at the show.
GCW announced recently that the show has sold out.

Last Sunday’s Wrld on GCW pay-per-view on FITE.tv was its most successful yet on the combat sports streaming service.
The news was first reported Wednesday by Post Wrestling’s John Pollock via an email confirmation from FITE COO Michael Weber.
While the event was the best in GCW’s history with FITE, it was not the biggest for FITE in general as Weber noted they had 700,000 buys for the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. exhibition boxing match last year.
There is still no word on how many buys GCW had for last Sunday as it aired both on FITE and traditional pay-per-view for the first time. Final numbers from traditional providers can take months to figure out.
The Wrld event was GCW’s highest profile show to date as it came from the sold-out Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City where WWE and ECW have run before.
Pollock said he is also following up with state commission officials on whether there is an enforceable age limit for pro wrestlers as 16-year-old prospect Nick Wayne was unable to compete on the show as planned due to someone reportedly contacting the commission about his age.
GCW owner Brett Lauderdale tweeted that while the show was successful business-wise, he thinks they could do better and “got played and I shoulda known better.”
Sunday was a smash hit business wise for gcw. All records shattered and its not even close. But im not happy at all. Feel like I let a lot of people down. Got played and I shoulda known better. Big time learning experience. Gonna work harder than ever to get a 2nd chance.

Jeff Jarrett once again made his presence felt in a GCW ring Saturday, laying out Allie Katch with a guitar shot at GCW Say You Will.
Jarrett made a surprise appearance at the January 1st GCW Die 4 This, nailing Effy with a guitar shot. He was advertised for Saturday’s show, but it was unknown in what capacity he would be appearing.
After Katch (Effy’s tag team partner) had defeated Kylie Rae and was cutting a promo, Jarrett appeared and nailed her with his guitar, dragging her around with the shell afterward. Effy was not on Saturday’s show, but this likely sets up a match between them at next Sunday’s The Wrld on GCW pay-per-view.

Say You Will featured three title matches, headlined by Ring of Honor World Champion Jonathan Gresham retaining the gold over 2 Cold Scorpio. After the match, Blake Christian, Gresham’s challenger next Sunday, came out to shake the champion’s hand. Christian had beat former ROH World Champion Bandido earlier.
Also earlier in the night, Ricky Morton defeated Matt Cardona, preceded by Cardona coming out with the old ECW TV title as he claimed he was the new titleholder after beating Rhino (the final champion) at Friday’s GCW Most Notorious.
Cardona, accompanied by Chelsea Green, then proceeded to throw the title in a trash can and ripped Paul Heyman and WWE in a promo. Morton later picked up the win after a roll-up but was low-blowed by Green before Joey Janela came out for the save. Janela and Cardona go head-to-head next Sunday.
In other action, The Briscoes defended the GCW Tag Team titles against The Rejects (John Wayne Murdoch & Reed Bentley), followed by issuing an open challenge for next Sunday’s pay-per-view.
The night was headlined by a three-way deathmatch honoring the late Markus Crane as Jimmy Lloyd defeated Alex Colon & “Spyder” Nate Webb, now available for free on their YouTube channel.
Here’s the full results from Chicago, Illinois:
– Gringo Loco defeated Nick Wayne, Alex Zayne, Ninja Mack, Dark Sheik and Dante Leon in a six-way scramble – Tony Deppen defeated “Speedball” Mike Bailey – Blake Christian defeated Bandido – Ring of Honor World Champion Jonathan Gresham defeated 2 Cold Scorpio to retain the title – AJ Gray defeated PCO to win the GCW Extreme Championship – Ricky Morton defeated Matt Cardona (w/ Chelsea Green) – Allie Katch defeated Kylie Rae – GCW Tag Team Champions The Briscoe Brothers defeated The Rejects to retain the titles – Jimmy Lloyd defeated Alex Colon and “Spyder” Nate Webb in a three-way deathmatch
One of Game Changer Wrestling’s most high-profile shows in company history is coming to traditional pay-per-view — at least for one night.
GCW announced Wednesday that Sunday, January 23rd’s The Wrld on GCW will be available through traditional cable PPV providers in addition to FITE.tv.
The show will emanate from the sold-out Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City starting at 8 PM Eastern. More than 2000 fans are expected to be in attendance.
GCW will hold their inaugural Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame ceremony the night before, inducting Dave Prazak, LuFisto, Jerry Lynn, Homicide, Ruckus and Tracy Smothers in its inaugural class.
Here’s the card as currently announced:
– ROH Champion Jonathan Gresham vs. Blake Christian title match – Ruby Soho vs. Allie Katch – Team Bandido (Bandido, ASF, Laredo Kid) vs. Team Gringo (Gringo Loco, Arez, Demonic Flamita)
Eddie Kingston will also be appearing at his first GCW show since November 2019. His opponent has yet to be announced.
GCW announced this afternoon that Bandido would be appearing for three of their shows in December: So High on December 3 in Houston, So Alive on December 4 in Dallas, and Blood on the Hills on December 17 in Los Angeles.
Bandidoβs arrival in GCW comes as Ring of Honor, who Bandido was signed to, announced that they would be taking a hiatus to evaluate themselves after their Final Battle event on December 11. Everyone under ROH contract has been released, including Bandido, who holds the ROH World Championship in addition to the PWG World Championship.
GCWβs last show was held on October 23. In the main event of War Ready, Minoru Suzuki defeated Nick Gage. The Briscoe Brothers, who were also signed with ROH, defeated Mance Warner and Matthew Justice to win the GCW World Tag Team titles. Their next show will take place on November 11, with Evil Deeds being held in Detroit, Michigan.
Game Changer Wrestling has announced the launch of a new California-based promotion, LA Fights.
In the press release, GCW said that the promotion will serve as a showcase for wrestlers from the west coast to perform on a GCW platform. The first show will take place on November 28th at Don Quixote on Olympic Boulevard in Los Angeles. The show will stream live for free on GCWβs YouTube page.
“Los Angeles has become a second home for GCW,” said GCW promoter Brett Lauderdale. “When we returned to LA in August, we were welcomed with open arms. It felt great to be back and it felt like there was an opportunity to do so much more.”
GCW is set to return to Los Angeles on October 22 and 23 for two shows. Josh Barnettβs Bloodsport 7 will take place on October 22, while War Ready, which will be headlined by Nick Gage vs. Minoru Suzuki, will take place the following day.
