Jeff Hardy: TNA is ‘exactly where I’m supposed to be in 2024’

Matt & Jeff Hardy are thrilled with how their return to TNA Wrestling has gone so far.

Following the end of their AEW contracts, both Hardys returned to TNA earlier this year. They’re set to challenge for the TNA Tag Team titles at Bound for Glory this weekend, facing Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers and Ace Austin & Chris Bey in a three-way Full Metal Mayhem match.

“We’re feeling really good. We’re happy with how things turned out,” Matt told TV Insider ahead of Saturday’s pay-per-view. “The whole TNA environment, the locker room, everything has been pitch-perfect thus far. I feel like they are putting myself and Jeff in situations to succeed. They are optimizing our usage. Once again using our status as legends, which is weird to say. But they are using us the right way where they are maximizing us.”

Jeff also expressed that he feels TNA is the right place for him — and the right place for The Hardys as a team — at this point in time.

“There is so much opportunity. There is so much potential within me. I really trust in TNA as this is my third run there,” he said. “I still have so many things I haven’t done that I want to do before it’s all said and done. With TNA, I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be in 2024. I think we’re exactly where we’re supposed to be in 2024 as a tag team. It’s just super exciting to see the things we’re going to bring into reality.”

Full Metal Mayhem is TNA’s version of a tables, ladders, and chairs match. If The Hardys win at Bound for Glory, this will be their third Tag Team title reign with the promotion. Both brothers are also former TNA World Champions.

Jeff has said that he would like to win the TNA Tag Team titles as a way to help make things up to Matt after Jeff’s personal issues ruined their opportunity in AEW.

The Hardys have remained free agents while working for TNA. They filmed some digital content for WWE this summer, and Matt has said that he thinks WWE would be the best place for The Hardys to finish their careers.

Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit will be the venue for Bound for Glory 2024.

Matt Hardy: Jeff Hardy’s Bray Wyatt tribute in TNA was ‘unbelievably great’

Matt Hardy thought his brother’s Bray Wyatt tribute on TNA Impact this week was “unbelievably great.”

Jeff Hardy wore facepaint on Tuesday’s episode that resembled the mask worn by Wyatt’s Fiend character. Matt says the final product was almost identical to the image Jeff used as a reference.

“It was 100 percent inspired from the Fiend mask,” Matt said on the latest episode of his podcast.

“Jeff said, ‘Hey, do you think this would be cool if did it as a tribute? I said, ‘Yeah man, it would be awesome and I think it would be very cool for your facepaint.”

“It was identical. The image that he used to do his facepaint – and he paints it all himself – it was absolutely identical, it was unbelievably great.”

Matt continued to say that Jeff wishes he’d had the chance to work more with Wyatt, and perhaps while portraying his Willow the Wisp character.

“That’s one of his biggest regrets. The whole time that I was working together with Bray until he actually turned and we were a half-assed tag team, Jeff was out. That’s kind of what started it, Jeff was injured.”

“Jeff really does wish he would’ve gotten a chance to interact (with that). He really would have loved to have done Broken Matt, Bray Wyatt/Fiend whatever, and Willow. Willow is something I think we will see sooner than later in TNA because we have had some discussions about that and that’s something that Jeff is very passionate about.”

Matt would also post the following comments on social media:

“Really wish my brother could have worked with Windham more. Windham was such a special human & gifted performer. I’m still so enamored & impressed by Jeff’s facepaint tribute Thursday night on #TNAiMPACT. I don’t think I’m alone when I really wish we could have seen Willow & The Fiend on the screen together at least once.”

TNA Impact live results: Hardys vs. The System, Charlie Dempsey vs. Jonathan Gresham

Matt & Jeff Hardy will continue their feud with The System in one of the headlining matches on tonight’s edition of TNA Impact as the brothers will face former TNA World Champion Moose & JDC in tag team action.

Two more qualifying matches for this month’s Ultimate X match at Emergence will take place at Hammerstone battles Frankie Kazarian and KUSHIDA in one while Jai Vidal takes on Laredo Kid and Bhupinder Gujjar in the other.

In what promises to be a technical affair, WWE NXT’s Charlie Dempsey will return to battle Jonathan Gresham.

In a trios bout, PCO will team with Rhino & Xia Brookside against Matt Cardona, Steph De Lander & a mystery partner. Cardona recently returned to ruin PCO and De Lander’s wedding and honeymoon. Cardona agreed to the match only if he could team with De Lander and the mystery person.

Current Knockouts Tag Team Champion Alisha Edwards will take on Rosemary.

Hammerstone defeated Frankie Kazarian and KUSHIDA to qualify for Ultimate X at TNA Emergence

Things kick off with Hammerstone coming to the ring for the first of two more qualifying matches for the Ultimate X match for the X-Division Championship at TNA Emergence 2024. Frankie Kazarian comes out next, followed by KUSHIDA, and then the match gets off-and-running.

Kazarian immediately backs into a corner and watches as Hammerstone goes to work on KUSHIDA in the corner. Kaz tries rolling him up from behind, but he kicks out. Hammerstone chokeslams Kaz but walks into a big kick and then helps KUSHIDA get Hammerstone out of the ring to take him out of the picture.

KUSHIDA and Kaz begin mixing it up, with KUSHIDA catching him with a variety of kicks that sends him to the floor. Hammerstone hops on the apron, only to be kicked back to the floor by KUSHIDA. KUSHIDA goes to work on Kaz on the floor, who takes over and brings the action back into the ring.

In the ring, Kaz gets KUSHIDA down and does his pose over him in sarcastic fashion. As Kaz and KUSHIDA are trading shots, Hammerstone comes off the top-rope with a double drop kick. He hits big clotheslines to both in opposing corners. He hits a pair of t-bone suplexes after that.

With KUSHIDA still down, Kaz is left standing when Hammerstone mean-mugs him. He begs off and then cheap shots him when he turns around. Hammerstone no-sells it and chases Kaz around, Bobby Heenan style, as he begs off and back-pedals around the ring.

On the floor, KUSHIDA and Hammerstone both beat Kaz down for a big pop from the crowd. KUSHIDA trips Hammerstone up, and the big man crashes face-first into the steel steps. Back inside the ring, Kaz hits a big move on KUSHIDA for a close two-count. KUSHIDA fights back and gets a cross-arm-breaker on the mighty arm of Hammerstone.

Kaz comes off the top to break that up. He goes for Fade to Black on Hammerstone, but KUSHIDA goes for the mist. Hammerstone gets KUSHIDA up in a torture rack, but he elbows his way free and slaps on the Hover Board Lock. Hammerstone muscles out of it and Donkey Kong’s KUSHIDA into the mat, Rampage-Ricardo Arona style, for the win.

With the win, Hammerstone qualifies for Ultimate X. He leaves the ring to Kazarian to beat down KUSHIDA after the match, and Kaz does exactly that. He hits KUSHIDA with his Fade To Black finisher and poses over him as the crowd boos.

Steve Maclin Confronts Eric Young Backstage

Gia Miller is backstage with Eric Young and she talks about Hammerstone having a lot of momentum going into their match next week. Young says maybe he never makes it to Emergence when he beats Hammerstone’s face in. Steve Maclin interrupts and tells Young, “Like always, I’ll be watching.”

Mike Santana Is Coming For The System

After a commercial break, Mike Santana is sitting in a chair in a taped vignette. He talks about having The System to thank for knowing what kind of monster he needs to be. He vows to come after The System one-by-one until he cuts the head off of the snake.

Rosemary defeated Alisha Edwards

The first lady of The System makes her way out as we return inside the Impact Zone. One-half of the TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champions is ready for singles action. Her opponent, the knife-toting Rosemary, is out next.

She heads to the ring with the knife in-hand, as the commentators marvel at her being allowed to. Great point, for the record. Fans chant for Rosemary as the bell sounds to get things started, and she jumps into an immediate offensive lead.

She hits Edwards with big shots and then ties her up with her legs around her throat as she hangs upside down over the ring apron under the bottom rope until the referee breaks things up. Edwards begins fighting back and takes over on offense. She hits a big slam for a two-count.

Edwards puts the boots to Rosemary and then wraps her legs around her neck to re-pay the favor, but instead repeatedly hip-thrusting and bouncing Rosemary’s dome off the canvas. Edwards hits a running cross-body onto Rosemary as she is slumped over in the corner. She hits another one for a two-count.

Rosemary connects with a big spear off the ropes to shift the offensive momentum back in her favor. She hits a running hip-attack in the corner and then an X-Factor. She calls for sweet chin music in the corner, but Masha Slamovich grabs her ankle at ringside.

Spitfire duo Jody Threat and Dani Luna come out to handle her, and then Rosemary hits her finisher for the win in the ring. She lays over Rosemary and then grabs her bag. She pulls out a black rose, crosses Edwards’ arms and lays it on her.

Xia Brookside, Rhino & PCO defeated Steph De Lander, Kon & Madman Fulton

After the Edwards-Rosemary bout wraps up, the show heads into another commercial break. When it returns, Ash By Elegance is featured in a vignette where she introduces the idea for a “Match by Elegance” in response to the recent challenge from TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace.

Back inside the Impact Zone, Xia Brookside’s theme hits and out she comes for mixed six-person tag-team action. “The Beast Man-Beast” Rhino is out next, followed by double-champion PCO. His undead bride, Steph De Lander, comes out next as the first of their opponents. Matt Cardona comes out next with a microphone.

He’s clearly not in ring gear, which he points out. He says Santino Marella didn’t do his due diligence. He says doctors won’t clear him and announces De Lander’s two mystery partners. Out comes “The Baddest Man In TNA” Kon, followed by Madman Fulton.

De Lander doesn’t look pleased. Cardona shouts at her from ringside as De Lander points to the wedding ring on her finger. Fulton and PCO kick things off, but PCO exits the ring and quickly (French-Canadian)-Frankenstein-stomps around the ring charging at PCO.

Kon ends up taking him out from behind as we head into an early mid-match commercial break. Kon shoves Xia down to the mat. She bites him and jumps on his back but he runs back-first into the corner. De Lander keeps trying to help her Maid of Honor and opponent for tonight, Xia.

After Rhino tags in, he quickly finds himself on the defensive, as Kon goes to work on him and tags in Fulton to pick up where he left off. Cardona gets involved at ringside as well, choking Rhino over the bottom rope from the floor. De Lander gets in his face when he hits Rhino a second time.

De Lander asks Rhino if he’s okay from the apron. Kon yells at her to ask him again and then drops a big leg on him before tagging Fulton back in. Fulton goes to work on him and then blasts PCO with a cheap shot. He tries to do the same to Xia, who hops off the apron to avoid it.

He then turns around into a big shot from Rhino, who then makes the hot tag to PCO. PCO hits the ring like a man possessed, blasting Fulton and Kon and knocking them to the floor. He hits the ropes and dives through for a double splash. Back in the ring, he hits a DDT out of the corner on Fulton.

He heads to the apron and leaps off with a double bang-bang elbow drop. Back in the ring, Fulton heads to the top-rope. Xia stops him and with an assist from PCO, slams him off the top. He gets up and walks into a gore from Rhino. PCO heads to the top-rope and hits a PCO-sault for the win.

Nic Nemeth, Josh Alexander TNA Emergence Iron Man Match Video Package

After an excellent video package airs to promote the 60-minute Iron Man match between Josh Alexander and TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth at TNA Emergence, the commentators promote the second Ultimate X qualifier coming up after the break. We then head to another commercial.

Laredo Kid defeated Jai Vidal and Bhupinder Gujjar to qualify for Ultimate X at TNA Emergence

When the show returns, Jordynne Grace is featured in a backstage segment. She responds to the Match By Elegance challenge from Ash By Elegance earlier in the show. She tells her she should know by now that trying to surprise her with a special stipulation.

She says she’s proven with her open challenges that she can be surprised in the ring and still come out on top. Inside the Impact Zone, Laredo Kid, Jai Vidal and then Bhupinder Gujjar make their way to the ring with our second of two Ultimate X qualifying matches.

Laredo Kid knocks both guys out to the floor at the jump but is then attacked on the floor by Vidal. He heads back into the ring and mixes it up with Gujjar, who hits a big drop kick off the ropes. A hurricanrana from Gujjar sends Vidal to the floor. He plays to the crowd and goes for a dive but leaps into a kick from Laredo Kid on the apron.

Kid sends Gujjar out to the floor and Vidal rolls him up for a two-count. Gujjar hits a crazy high spot onto Kid and Vidal in the ring. Kid takes over and hits a top-rope dive onto Gujjar on the floor for a loud “Lucha! Lucha!” chant from the crowd. Kid works over Vidal in the ring and leads the crowd in another chant.

He hits a twisting moonsault off the ropes for a pin attempt, which Gujjar breaks up. Vidal and Gujjar get into a hair-pulling match, ala Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels in a backstage “brawl.” Kid then takes over and hits a 450 splash off the top-rope onto Vidal for the win to qualify for Ultimate X at TNA Emergence. After the match, the show heads into another commercial break.

“Speedball” Mike Bailey To Defend X-Division Title Next Week

Backstage, Rich Swann and AJ Francis have words with X-Division Champion “Speedball” Mike Bailey and fellow Speedball Mountain member Trent Seven. Bailey accepts a title match against Swann for next week.

Jonathan Gresham defeated Charlie Dempsey

Now it’s time for one that should be solid bell-to-bell, as WWE NXT Superstar Charlie Dempsey of the No Quarter Catch Crew makes his way to the ring. He settles inside and the theme for his opponent hits to bring out “The Octopus” Jonathan Gresham.

The bell sounds and Dempsey immediately goes to work on the arm of Gresham. Fans give this a “This is Awesome” chant before they do anything other than exchange control of the others arm a few times back-and-forth. Talk about judging a book by its’ cover … in a good way.

Dempsey gets Gresham down and this very slow-paced, methodical, amateur-style wrestling and grappling contest continues on the mat. Dempsey works over Gresham’s arm and they stand back up. A smattering of “boring” chants spreads throughout the Impact Zone. How quickly the opinion changed.

Gresham now takes Dempsey down and controls him by the arm. About five minutes of literally nothing thus far, in short. After a few more minutes, Gresham hits the first move in a hold-for-hold, catch-as-catch-can contest.

They knock that pro wrestling crap off real quick, and go to a test of strength which leads to more arm-holding and squirming on the mat. Gresham tries muscling Dempsey’s arms down with hand-locks for a pin attempt, but Dempsey kicks out. They stay connected by their hands and pop up to their feet and monkey-flip the other overhead.

This repeats a few times into some pin attempts and bridging. Fans are starting to get into a bit now. They continue this same style for all over another minute or two before Gresham gets the pin kind of out of nowhere. Afterwards, Dempsey throws a fit and tries brawling with him.

Gresham blasts him with more punches in the aftermath than he did bell to bell. Dempsey heads off angry. Once this wraps up, the commentators promote The Hardy Boys vs. Moose & JDC from The System in our main event. On that note, the show heads into another commercial break.

The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) defeated The System (Moose & JDC)

It’s main event time!

But first, when the show returns we see footage from WWE NXT of Joe Hendry and Zachary Wentz appearing. From there, Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt run down some upcoming TNA dates. After that, the iconic sounds of The Hardy Boys theme plays.

Out comes the legendary duo of Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy, as Hannifan promotes the Jeff Hardy’s ‘Birthday Bash & Appreciation Night’ coming up in Louisville, Kentucky. Their opponents, The System duo of Moose and JDC come out together by themselves.

As they settle inside the squared circle for our final match of the evening, the commentators talk us into one more commercial time out before things get started. When the show returns, Jeff teases throwing his shirt into the crowd for possibly the biggest pop of the night. That’s a shoot.

Jeff goes out to the floor and pulls a chair out from under the ring before anything happens. He charges at JDC but gets run over from a huge blindside clothesline by Moose at ringside. The bell sounds and Moose gets Jeff in the ring and goes to work on him.

Moose whips Jeff into the corner and charges in with full momentum, but Jeff moves and Moose hits the corner hard chest-first. Hardy takes over and hits a neck-breaker and tags in Matt. Matt drops down and Jeff runs and hits Poetry in Motion on Moose in the corner.

Fans break out in the obligatory “You still got it!” nostalgia-chant as Moose begins to easily take over the offensive control on Matt. He knocks Jeff off the apron with a cheap shot and goes back to work manhandling Matt.

JDC tags in and picks up where Moose left off as fans rally behind Matt with a “Let’s go Hardy!” chant. JDC hits a stun-gun to Hardy, dropping him throat-first over the top-rope. Moose tags in and Donkey Kong’s Matt and tags JDC right back in. Fans rally again with a loud “Let’s go Matt!” chant.

A loud “DELETE! DELETE!” chant spreads throughout the Impact Zone as The System duo double-team a defenseless Matt. Moose stays in as the legal man and continues to dominate. He goes for a power bomb but Matt counters into a Russian Leg Sweep.

This buys him enough time to make the much-needed tag to Jeff. Jeff hits Twist of Fate on Moose and heads to the top-rope, only for JDC to distract him, which allows Moose to crotch him on the top. We head into a mid-match commercial break as Moose puts the boots to Jeff.

When the show returns, Matt is fired up on offense and leading fans in a “DELETE!” chant. He hits a middle rope elbow drop and calls for the Twist of Fate. Unfortunately he doesn’t get past the “HUH?!” portion of the process before he is sent crashing and burning out to the floor at ringside.

Moose tags in JDC, who puts the boots to Matt and drills him with a few punches in the corner. Matt tries fighting back, but JDC remains in control. He blasts him with a stiff chop and takes him to the mat, where he controls him with a side head-lock.

Fans stomp and clap to rally Matt back into competitive form. He gets inches away from the sorely-needed tag to Jeff, but JDC cuts that off, along with the ring, and returns Matt to The System corner, where Moose tags back in. Hardy hits a suplex on Moose to buy himself some time.

Jeff leads the Impact Zone into a frenzy as Matt crawls to the corner and makes the tag. Jeff takes the hot tag and hits the ring like a man on a mission, only without glossy purple and gold ring gear. He hits a few of his signature spots and goes for the cover on JDC, who kicks out at two.

Jeff hits a side-Russian leg-sweep and then hits a leg-drop onto the legs of JDC into a pin attempt for a count of two. JDC whips Jeff into the corner but walks into a big back-elbow, which sets Jeff up for the Whisper in the Wind off the top for a two-count.

JDC counters a Twist of Fate attempt by Jeff and levels him. Both guys are down and the referee begins his double count. They each crawl to their respective corners for the tag. Matt hits Moose with a Side Effect for a close two-count. Jeff disposes of JDC, who tries hitting the ring.

Moose and Matt trade shots as fans react with “Boo!” and “Yay!” responses, respectively. Hardy catches Moose with a big stunner but JDC hits Down and Dirty to break up Matt’s subsequent pin attempt. Moose crawls to make the tag to JDC. JDC knocks Matt down with a big boot and heads to the top.

Matt crotches him and climbs up after him. Matt connects with a Twist of Fate out of the corner and tags in Jeff for an explosion from the crowd, who feels the finish. Jeff hits a Swanton Bomb off the top-rope and covers JDC for the pin fall victory. Pretty damn good main event and one actually deserving of a “You still got it!” chant for the legendary duo.

Moose attacks the iconic team after the match. He puts the boots to him until Mike Santana’s theme hits. He comes down and connects with Spin The Block on Moose. He puts the boots to him until Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers run down and the numbers game helps The System take over.

You get three guesses who comes out to make the final save to end the show on a positive note. “Say his name, and he appears …” hits the house speakers. From London to Tokyo, and in tonight’s case, Tampa, FL., Joe Hendry hits the ring.

Fans go nuts as Hendry’s theme keeps playing long enough to get to his rocking guitar solo as he, Santana and The Hardys clear the ring of The System crew. They head out to the floor and continue the four-on-four beat down all over the building.

Fans chant “We Believe!” as the good guys stand tall together in the ring and the bad guys cower and retreat. A loud “TNA!” chant breaks out as this week’s show goes off the air on that note. Thanks for joining us, and don’t forget to follow me on Twitter/X.

Matt Hardy details ‘friendly visit’ with WWE during SummerSlam week

On his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt Hardy detailed the visit that he and his brother Jeff had with WWE during SummerSlam week.

It was initially reported that The Hardys met with WWE officials on August 2 while both sides were in Cleveland. Later, it was clarified that the meeting was for The Hardys to film content for upcoming WWE documentaries. Matt confirmed on his podcast that he and Jeff recorded some stuff for WWE digital that will probably be coming out over the next 3-5 months.

“As soon as we got to Cleveland, we were met by a WWE driver who picked us up [and] took us to the WWE TV hotel,” Matt said. “And we recorded some media, some digital for those guys, which is going to air on some of their platforms coming up in the future. It was very cool, and it was very cool to interact with a lot of the guys.”

Matt said he would describe the interaction as a “friendly visit.” He was really happy that Jeff got to be there and show people where he’s at in life right now.

“I like to describe it as a friendly visit. It was something where we spoke to people in production and they said they would like to do more of this going forward. And I said we would love to as well,” Matt said. “It was great. We had a great time there. We left on great terms and everything was cool. We told them we would talk to them in the future and we’ll do something a little bit later down the road.”

The Hardys were in Cleveland for an appearance at the Destination WrestleCon convention during SummerSlam week. Matt also had a match for Game Changer Wrestling against Nick Gage.

Though they’ve returned to TNA Wrestling after departing AEW, Matt & Jeff are both still free agents. Matt reiterated on his podcast that he thinks WWE would be the best place for The Hardys to finish their careers.

Report: The Hardys meet with WWE officials in Cleveland

Update —

Fightful reports that Matt & Jeff Hardy were meeting with WWE “to film content and interviews for upcoming documentaries.”

**********

With both sides in Cleveland, The Hardy Boys reportedly had a meeting with WWE.

PWInsider reports that Matt & Jeff Hardy met with WWE officials in Cleveland on Friday morning, but there’s no word on what was discussed.

“We are told that The Hardys met with WWE very early this morning,” the report said. “No word on what was discussed, but we have also heard some content was filmed to be rolled out via WWE digital as well.”

Matt & Jeff Hardy are both currently free agents after departing AEW when their contracts with the promotion expired. When his deal came up in April, Matt stated that he was still talking with AEW and was speaking with WWE as well.

The Hardys are appearing at the Destination WrestleCon convention in Cleveland on Friday. Matt also has a match against Nick Gage for Game Changer Wrestling that’s taking place in the city tonight.

WWE SummerSlam is being held at Cleveland Browns Stadium this Saturday, though The Hardys are scheduled to be in Florida on Saturday for TNA Wrestling’s television tapings at the Florida State Fairgrounds.

Matt Hardy vs. Nick Gage announced for GCW Now & Forever

Matt Hardy has his work cut out for him in GCW.

It was announced on Tuesday that Hardy will face Nick Gage at GCW Now & Forever this Friday in Cleveland, Ohio.

Earlier this month, it was announced that Hardy would be working multiple GCW events, with Now & Forever being his debut. Hardy discussed his first match on his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast.

“I think it’s really exciting that they announced it — that Matt Hardy’s going to be there — and I think once you find out who I’m wrestling, people are going to go even more nuts,” he said. “And then it’s going to lead to some other stuff. And I think it’s going to be really cool. I’m very much looking forward to it.”

Gage’s match on Friday will be his first since June, when he defeated Orin Veidt in a death match.

The current card for Now & Forever:

  • Mance Warner in action
  • Joey Janela in action
  • Effy vs. Raj Dhesi (Jinder Mahal)
  • CPF vs. Davey Bang & August Matthews

Matt Hardy working multi-show deal with GCW

Matt Hardy will be working multiple dates for Game Changer Wrestling.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Hardy will make his GCW debut at the promotion’s Now and Forever show on Friday, August 2. Hardy addressed the news on Friday’s episode of his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, noting that GCW promoter Brett Lauderdale originally reached out to him this April. He wasn’t able to appear at that event because it conflicted with his surprise return to TNA at Rebellion. They remained in contact and have agreed for Hardy to work multiple GCW events.

“This is more than just one appearance for me in GCW. So we’re going to do a multi-show deal, and it’s going to be exciting,” Hardy said. “I think it’s really exciting that they announced it — that Matt Hardy’s going to be there — and I think once you find out who I’m wrestling, people are going to go even more nuts. And then it’s going to lead to some other stuff. And I think it’s going to be really cool. I’m very much looking forward to it. And, surprisingly, I was pretty pumped about how positive the feedback was. Seems like it’s going to be a win-win so far.”

Now and Forever is taking place in Cleveland during WWE SummerSlam weekend.

Hardy remains a free agent following the expiration of his AEW contract this April. The Hardy family has been featured in TNA with Matt set to face Johnny “Dango” Curtis (the former Fandango) in a singles match at Slammiversary this Saturday.

TNA Impact live results: No Quarter Catch Crew & The Hardys in action

The Slammiversary go-home edition of TNA Impact will feature both Matt & Jeff Hardy and NXT’s No Quarter Catch Crew in trios action.

The Hardys will challenge The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) for the TNA Tag Team titles in the latest chapter in the Hardys’ feud with the faction. The winners will defend against former champions ABC at Saturday’s pay-per-view.

After making their presence felt recently as part of the NXT/TNA crossover, Charlie Dempsey, Tavion Heights & Myles Borne will battle The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) and KUSHIDA. The Rascalz have recently appeared on NXT TV, aligning with old partner Wes Lee.

After being cost a shot in the six-way World title match at Slammiversary, Mike Santana will look to gain a measure of revenge against JDC, the former Dirty Dango.

All six participants will be on hand to sign their contracts for the PPV main event.

Alisa Edwards will face Xia Brookside in singles action.

**********
This week’s show starts off with an aerial shot of the city of Philadelphia, PA., which settles inside the 2300 Arena with an enthusiastic crowd chanting “TNA! TNA!” as Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt welcome us to the TNA Slammiversary 2024 “go-home” show.

No Quarter Catch Crew (Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne & Tavion Heights) defeated The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) & KUSHIDA

The ring announcer introduces the No Quarter Catch Crew for the opening contest, which is an inter-promotional six-man tag-team match. The WWE NXT three-man team features Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne and Tavion Heights.

After they settle inside the squared circle, KUSHIDA makes his way out as the first of their three opponents. The theme for The Rascalz hits next and the duo of Miguel and Wentz join him in the ring for our first match of the evening.

Following the bell, Dempsey and Wentz kick things off for their respective teams. The two lock up and Dempsey immediately isolates the arm of Wentz and goes to work on bending and stretching it in directions that it is not intended to go.

Fans chant “TNA!” at one point, but seconds later, break out in a “NXT!” chant. Each guy tags out and we see The Rascalz hit some double-team action before Miguel takes over in the offensive lead for his team. Borne slows him down with a big forearm smash.

Heights tags in and he and Borne hit some double-team action in the NQCC corner. KUSHIDA tags in and helps shift the offensive momentum back into his team’s favor. Heights military presses KUSHIDA and just launches him into the air and backs up, Ultimate Warrior and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan-style, only modern and safe.

Wentz tags in and takes over on Borne, who is the legal man for the NQCC team. He gets in some shots and then tags Miguel back in, and the two hit some double-team spots before KUSHIDA joins them for a cool three-man spot in the ring before hitting a stereo dive at the same time to the NQCC guys on the floor at ringside.

The NQCC start to brawl their way into the offensive driver’s seat on the floor. Back inside the ring, Dempsey counters a Hoover-Board Lock attempt by KUSHIUDA into an arm lock. KUSHIDA reverses and while holding Dempsey in a submission, Wentz and Miguel apply submission attempts to Heights and Borne all at the same time.

Fans break out into an enthusiastic “This is Awesome!” chant. KUSHIDA and The Rascalz set up a big three-man spot with two on the top-rope, but before they execute it, they notice Jonathan Gresham emerge from the entrance tunnel.

The distraction leads to the NQCC guys taking over again and bust open Miguel’s mouth. Wentz is hit with a neck-breaker, followed by a dragon suplex from Dempsey for the pin. The NQCC pick up the win in what was a really good opening match. After the match, the show heads into a commercial break.

Wes Lee Reunites With The Rascalz In The Treehouse

When the show returns, we see The Rascalz team of Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz and Wes Lee all together in a talking heads segment, complete with a bad laugh and applause background sound track.

They spend some time joking about whether or not Wes Lee is really there or if it is a hologram. Lee suggests they handle the No Quarter Catch Crew once and for all. They head off to smoke up in The Treehouse as the segment comes to a close.

Xia Brookside defeated Alisha Edwards (w/ Masha Slamovich)

Back inside the Impact Zone, the theme for Alisha Edwards hits and out comes the TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champion accompanied by her tag-team partner, Masha Slamovich, for the second match of the show. They settle in the ring and then the theme for Xia Brookside hits and she makes her way out.

Tom Hannifan confirms Brookside, Gisele Shaw, Tasha Steelz and Faby Apache in a four-way Knockouts showdown for the Countdown To TNA Slammiversary 2024 pre-show at the big pay-per-view event in Montreal on Saturday, July 30.

After the bell gets this one started, Edwards and Brookside jaw back-and-forth at each other before things ultimately graduate to physicality. Brookside slaps a side headlock on The System member, who escapes and snatches up the arm of her opposition.

Edwards hits a big suplex on Brookside that results in Brookside taking a bad landing in the corner. Edwards kicks away at the grounded Brookside before standing on her hair and yanking on her hands as the crowd boos.

Brookside finally gets back to her feet and starts slinging punches, but Brookside snatches her up and hits a powerslam for a two-count. Brookside rallies back and begins building some offensive momentum. She hits a Russian leg-sweep for a two-count.

She heads over to the corner and connects with a middle rope cross body splash for another close pin attempt. Edwards knocks Brookside out to the floor where Slamovich hoists her up, but before she can do anything, the Spitfire duo of Jody Threat and Dani Luna make the save and take her out.

Back in the ring, Brookside hits her finisher off the ropes for the victory, scoring a pin over one-half of the TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champions. After the Knockouts one-on-one contest wraps up, the show heads back into another commercial break.

Mike Santana With A Message For JDC

When the show returns, we see a well-produced segment featuring Mike Santana talking about how JDC has forced him to release the rabid dog side of himself that he has been trying to keep caged to promote their match later tonight.

“Speedball” Mike Bailey Runs Mustafa Ali’s Secret Service Gauntlet

Hannifan and Rehwoldt show “earlier today” footage of “Speedball” Mike Bailey trying to attack TNA X-Division Champion and his opponent for TNA Slammiversary 2024 on Saturday in Montreal, Mustafa Ali. Back inside the Impact Zone, Bailey calls out Ali.

Ali doesn’t come out but appears on the big screen to respond to Bailey’s challenge to fight him tonight. Ali says he will fight him tonight if Bailey can get through the Secret Service Gauntlet. He tells him he’ll see him real soon. Out comes four members of Ali’s Secret Service in suits with sunglasses on.

One of the four nameless security guys hits the ring and within seconds is kicked into oblivion by one-half of Speedball Mountain for a quick pin. The second one hits the ring and suffers the same fate in about the same amount of time.

The third one is hesitant to get into the ring. He decides against it and hops off the apron and onto the floor at ringside, giving the “Nah, I’m out of here” hand gesture, only for Bailey to come flying into the camera shot to take him out anyways. We head to a mid-match commercial break as the action continues.

When the show returns, we see Bailey has just finished off the third and fourth secret service security guys, so it’s time for the impromptu fight against Ali. Instead, out comes Campaign Singh, who reveals that now he has gotten through the secret service guys, to complete the gauntlet, he must beat him as well.

He ends up in the ring and within a minute or two, Bailey has him down and out for the pinfall victory. He awaits the arrival of the TNA X-Division Champion for the fight he originally came out to challenge him to.. Two guys in riot gear come out instead and each go in different directions around the ring.

Bailey gets distracted and one of the guys hits the ring and attacks Bailey from behind with a club. He takes his riot gear helmet off to reveal he is, in fact, Mustafa Ali.

He continues to beat down Bailey some more and then bullies the referee into counting three on this non-match while Bailey is down and out. He gloats afterwards and then the show heads into another commercial time out.

When the show returns, Ali is backstage with his Secret Service crew gloating some more about “beating” Bailey. He claims because of the “win,” his title defense against Bailey at Slammiversary is no longer taking place.

Up comes a rare serious Santino Marella who warns Ali to never put his hands on an official again before informing him that his title defense against Bailey at Slammiversary is still very much on as planned.

Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy defeated Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards via Disqualification in TNA World Tag-Team Championship match, when JDC interferes.

Back inside the Impact Zone, the theme for The System duo of Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards hits, and out comes the reigning and defending TNA World Tag-Team Champions for our next match of the evening.

As they settle in the ring, Hannifan and Rehwoldt talk about how the winner of this match will go on to defend the tag-team titles against ABC at Slammiversary on Saturday. The theme for The Hardys hits next and out comes Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy.

The legendary duo head down for the first time in seven years to compete together in a match inside a TNA Wrestling ring. The fans give them a rock star reaction coming out and as they settle into the ring, Matt leads them in the first of what will likely be many “DELETE! DELETE!” chants.

The fans break into their own organic “Hardy! Hardy!” chant and then the ring announcer handles the final formal pre-match ring introductions for both teams to get this championship contest officially off-and-running.

After the bell sounds to get this one started, Matt Hardy and Brian Myers kick things off for their respective teams. The two lock-up and Myers muscles Hardy into a corner. He gives him a clean break but then forcefully pushes him for no reason.

Hardy fights back and takes Myers to his corner where he isolates his arm before tagging in Jeff Hardy. Jeff heads to the top-rope as the fans inside the 2300 Arena come to life. Jeff picks up where Matt left off, taking it to Myers and Edwards.

He sends both retreating on the floor at ringside to recover and regroup. Myers hits Jeff with a big shot upon returning to the ring. He backs Hardy into the corner and tags Edwards back in. Edwards works over Jeff in the corner for a few seconds.

He then tags Myers right back in to do the same. The two utilize frequent tags while keeping Jeff isolated on their half of the ring, with a fresh guy working him over at all times. The crowd loudly boos and continues to do so for what feels like forever.

Think boring second or third round of a five round UFC main event, when a crowd starts to think it’s gonna go this way the rest of the time and quickly grow restless. Matt Hardy finally gets the much-needed hot tag.

The crowd comes to life as he helps shift the offensive momentum back into the favor of The Hardy Boys. While he works over Myers in the ring, Edwards takes out Jeff with a cheap shot on the floor. He then heads into the ring where he and Myers hit Matt with a big double-team spot.

The high impact two-on-one move helps The System duo settle back into the offensive driver’s seats. As they go to work on Matt, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break. When the show returns, we see Matt still on the wrong end of a one-sided beatdown.

He eventually hits a Side Effect that buys him some much-needed tag and then he makes a sorely-needed hot tag to his brother. Jeff Hardy hits the ring with a ton of energy as the crowd comes to life. He hits any-and-everything that moves and then comes off the top-rope with a Whisper in the Wind on Myers.

He goes for the cover but Edwards breaks it up just in time. He hits a Twist of Fate and heads to the top-rope for a Swanton Bomb. Johnny Dango Curtis hits the ring, however, and knocks him off, sending him crashing and burning way down below on the floor. The referee calls for the bell.

As The System duo beat down Matt in the ring, JDC puts Jeff’s head through a steel folding chair and then slams it throat-first into the steel ring post. The System hold Matt and force him to watch as they continue to beat down Jeff at ringside with the chair still around his neck.

Officials and doctors and security rush to the scene to check on Jeff and try and get The System out of there. They put a brace around the neck of Jeff and load him up on a stretcher as Hannifan puts his serious / somber voice on and sends the broadcast into a commercial break.

JDC defeated Mike Santana via Disqualification

When the show returns, Mike Santana and JDC are in the ring for the next match of the evening. As the match gets underway, we see something unfold backstage. Rebecca Hardy is down and screaming in pain in the back when Matt Hardy finds her. She tells him that JDC attacked her.

Jeff Hardy, meanwhile, is shown being loaded into an ambulance on a stretcher following the savage attack moments ago by JDC. Back inside the Impact Zone, we see JDC doing much of the same. His viciousness is on full display.

JDC bites at the bandaged head of Santana and trying to attack him with a steel chair on the floor. Santana’s head is bandaged as a result of another in-match attack by JDC when he assaulted Santana during his Road To Slammiversary Qualifier bout on Impact a couple of weeks ago.

Back in the ring, Santana starts to show signs of life and begins fighting back into competitive form. He hits a big death valley driver for a close two-count. Santana looks for Spin The Block, but JDC avoids it and hits a big slam of his own for a two-count.

Hannifan and Rehwoldt point out on commentary that both guys are busted open. JDC’s nose is bleeding, while Santana’s head is opened up. JDC hits a big high spot off the middle rope for a super close pin attempt, however Santana kicks out before the count of three.

Back on the floor, JDC charges at Santana with a chair. Santana dodges it and sends JDC into the steel ring post. Santana grabs the chair that JDC tried to use on him. He raises it high in the air to show it off and then in blatant fashion, right in front of the referee, begins beating the crap out of JDC with it.

The referee calls for the bell, giving JDC the win via DQ, however Santana clearly doesn’t care. He continues to beat down JDC with the chair and then connects with his Spin The Block finisher, leaving JDC laid out on the floor as the show heads into another commercial break.

Tom Hannifan One-On-One Sit-Down Interview With Jordynne Grace

When the show returns, we see Tom Hannifan seated with Jordynne Grace in a pre-recorded one-on-one sit-down interview with the TNA Knockouts Champion. They talk about her title defense against Ash By Elegance at TNA Slammiversary on Saturday in Montreal.

She talks about winning the title from Trinity, who is now working as Naomi in WWE, and being on the run of her life since then. They talk about her appearance in the Women’s Royal Rumble match for WWE.

The talk shifts to her later appearing on WWE NXT on the USA Network and challenging for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Battleground, with her loss being blamed on Ash By Elegance’s interference.

They wrap up by talking about Ash being on vacation while Jordynne has been defending her Knockouts title against additional NXT Superstars in recent weeks on TNA Impact. She vows to show Ash on Saturday that despite her belief, she is not untouchable.

After it wraps up, we see George Iceman on the phone kissing Ash By Elegance’s butt, telling her he’s got manicure and pedicure appointments, etc. set up for her in Montreal. All the while he is talking to her on the phone, Rosemary is behind him making weird faces and gestures.

TNA Slammiversary 2024 Main Event Contract Signing

Back inside the Impact Zone at the 2300 Arena, Santino Marella is shown in the ring. He says it’s time for the contract signing for the six-man elimination match for the TNA World Championship at the TNA Slammiversary 2024 pay-per-view this Saturday in Montreal.

He introduces the first of the five men who will be challenging Moose for his world title at the PPV on 7/20, Josh Alexander. As “The Walking Weapon” settles inside the squared circle, the show heads into a mid-segment commercial break.

When the show returns, we see Joe Hendry make his way out to a big crowd reaction, with the Philly crowd loudly singing along with his catchy-ass entrance tune. He settles inside the ring, which is decked out for the contract signing with a table and chairs.

Also in the ring now are Alexander, Steve Maclin, Frankie Kazarian and noticably absent is Nic Nemeth. The theme for the reigning, defending TNA World Champion Moose hits and out comes the leader of The System dressed to the nines in a suit and tie.

Santino sets the stage as the guys take their respective seats. He introduces Nic Nemeth on Zoom. He reveals he suffered a partially torn labrum as a result of his back-alley brawl last week. He says he will be at Slammiversary, however, as he will be medically cleared in two days.

He vows he will leave Montreal as the new TNA World Champion. Santino gives the guys a pen to sign the contract and reminds them that he wants no shenanigans or malarkey. Most pen their respective John Hancock’s, however Frankie Kazarian hesitates. Santino tells him they don’t have all night.

He finally signs as well. Hendry goes last and soaks up the big crowd reaction and “We Believe” chant he gets. Moose yanks the contract from him. He says he’s gonna sign it first. He does and slams it back down. Santino tells him to take it easy.

The theme for AJ Francis hits and out he comes with his Rich “Homie” Swann. The First Class duo head to the ring with Francis yapping away on the microphone about the contract signing for the main event, when in all actuality, First Class is the “real” main event of TNA Slammiversary.

Francis tells Moose he respects him because they were former NFL brothers, but points out he is the only double-champion in the room. “Lou Thesz ain’t got nothin’ on me!” he says. He heads into the ring with Swann and says there’s five guys he respects in the ring and then there’s Joe Hendry.

He must be included Santino on his respect list, unless he forgot Nemeth isn’t in the ring as well. He tells them all they need to shake his hand and look him in the eyes and say “thank you for the house” when they’re at the sold out TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view this weekend.

Santino says Francis spit in his mouth and says this isn’t the time or place for this. He tells him to get out of the ring. Francis gets in Santino’s face and asks who he is talking to. Out from under the ring pops “The French-Canadian Frankenstein” PCO.

PCO hits the ring and the brawl is on between he and First Class. All of the guys involved in the TNA World Championship main event at Slammiversary end up involved in a brawl of their own, which culminates with Hendry hitting his Standing Ovation chokeslam to TNA World Champion Moose to put him through the table.

He picks up the contract he had yet to sign due to Moose yanking it out of his hands, signs it, and plays to the crowd as his theme hits once again. That’s how this week’s show goes off the air. Remember to check back here at F4WOnline.com this Saturday, July 20, for live TNA Slammiversary 2024 results coverage from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. In an X-Division match, The Rascalz’ Trey Miguel will look to derail the momentum of Leon Slater.

**********

Trey Miguel and Leon Slater went to a no contest

Things started off this week with one-on-one action, as Trey Miguel of The Rascalz heads to the ring accompanied by Zachary Wentz. His opponent, Leon Slater, is out next. After the bell, the two play to the crowd and lock-up. Miguel isolates the arm of Slater, who arm-drags his way free.

The two trade counters and are up-and-down a lot in the early goings. Slater hits an inverted kick and then a handspring back elbow to pop the crowd. Slater hits another big spot that sends Miguel to the floor. He follows up by sling-shotting himself onto a splash on Miguel at ringside.

Back in the ring, Miguel drags Slater face-first into the turnbuckle by his tights to take over control of the offense, where he slows things down a bit. Wentz chokes Slater over the middle rope as Miguel had the referee tied up and distracted.

Miguel yanks Slater down by his dreads and goes for a moonsault off the middle rope, but Slater gets out of the way. Out of the corner, Slater picks up some speed and hits the ropes to deliver a running big-boot to The Rascalz member for a two-count.

Slater hits a wild cutter for a close two-count of his own moments later. Miguel takes over with an assortment of kicks and a double-stomp for a close pin attempt. Miguel yells “Why won’t you stay down?!” as he picks Slater up. Slater rolls him up for two but then Miguel hits a handspring kick to the face. Slater hits a standing Blue Thunder Bomb after catching Miguel in the corner.

Slater heads to the top-rope, but WWE NXT Superstar Charlie Dempsey of No Quarter Catch Crew runs out and shoves him off the ropes. In comes Wentz, and Dempsey attacks him as well. He even hits a gut-wrench suplex on the referee, before locking Slater in a submission and cranking away on it. A ton of officials rush to the ring to break things up and restore order. Dempsey exits as the crowd is shocked.

Broken” Matt Hardy & Rebecca Hardy sends a message to The System

Gia Miller knocks on a door and out comes “Broken” Matt Hardy and his wife, Rebecca Hardy, who talk about how The System put their hands on her at Against All Odds. They explain that Rebecca Hardy has been out for 208 fortnights. Eight years. They vow to eat and delete them tonight and then we head to our first commercial break of the evening.

Zachary Wentz challenges Charlie Dempsey

When the show returned, we see Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz super fired up as they leave the building. They talk directly into the camera about how they refuse to let Charlie Dempsey make a name off of their backs. They said they know where he comes from. He says he knows they don’t let that crap happen over there, so he’s not gonna let it happen over here. He challenges Dempsey to a match for next week.

Jody Threat vs. Dani Luna went to a draw in a 10-minute challenge

Back inside the Impact Zone, the Spitfire theme hits and out together comes Jody Threat and Dani Luna. The commentators remind us that this battle of tag team members was put together by their mentor, Lars Frederickson of Rancid, who insisted they tear each other apart. After the bell, the two immediately get after it.

The two break and raise their hands for a test of strength. Threat slaps on a side head lock, which Luna counters. Luna isolates the arm of threat, who counters and controls the same limb of her Spitfire teammate. Off the ropes, Luna hits a big clothesline for a two-count. Threat takes over and then we are shown footage backstage of Nic Nemeth laid out in a stairwell.

Ryan Nemeth rushes to the scene as the commentators question who is responsible. Back in the ring, we see Luna and Threat staring each other down after a brief offensive stalemate. Fans break out into a “Women’s Wrestling!” chant. Luna bashes the hell out of Threat in the corner and hits a big suplex.

Threat takes over with a big clothesline out of the corner for a two count. The fans break out in a “TNA! TNA!” chant as Threat goes to work on the arm of Luna on the mat. The two knock each other out to the floor. Back inside the ring, the two fight until a ten second countdown hits.

The ten minute challenge has ended in a draw. The crowd chants for five more minutes. They go to oblige, but are immediately attacked by the TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champions Masha Slamovich and Alisha Edwards, who beat them down and leave them laying.

Mustafa Ali convinces Santino Marella to make Mike Bailey earn a title shot

We shoot to Santino Marella, who is busy but gives a moment of his time to TNA X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali, who is with Campaign Singh and the rest of his crew. He tells Santino he jumped the gun last week and says he shouldn’t have given a title shot to “Speedball” Mike Bailey at Slammiversary. Santino is talked into making Bailey earn the shot next week in a number one contender match. After this, the show heads into another commercial break.

Frankie Kazarian defeated Mike Santana in a Road To Slammiversary qualifying match

The elaborate pre-match video package for the first of two Road To Slammiversary Qualifier matches airs when we return. After that, we return inside the Impact Zone where the two get ready to find out who will join the mix in the TNA World Championship match with Moose at TNA Slammiversary in Montreal.

Out of the gate, Santana takes the early offensive lead. Kazarian ends up taking over after catching him coming back through the ropes with a guillotine leg-drop. He sends him into the guard rail on the floor after that and then the show heads into a mid-match commercial break as the high stakes match continues inside the 2300 Arena.

When we return from the break, we see the two trading wild shots in the middle of the ring, Frye/Takayama hockey-fight style, and then Kazarian nearly beheads Santana with a lariat. Santana fights back out of the corner, catching Kazarian in mid-air and bringing him to the mat with a vengeance. Santana hits a canonball splash on Kazarian in the corner for a two-count.

Kazarian goes for another guillotine leg drop after a wild trade in the ropes, but Santana avoids it. Kazarian hits a wild DDT for a close two-count moments later. Kazarian looks for the chicken wing, but Santana backs into the turnbuckles to break free. Kazarian slaps Santana, Razor Ramon-style, and yells at him to stay down.

Kazarian goes for Fade To Black, but Santana counters out of it. Santana goes for Spin The Block, but Kazarian avoids it. Kazarian hits a back-stabber out of a rolling 450 attempt by Santana. He locks up the chicken wing but is rolled into a pin attempt. Santana hits the rolling Buck-50 for a super close two-count.

Santana calls for another S.T.P., but out comes JDC. He grabs Santana’s leg from the floor. Kazarian rolls out to the floor as well, as Santana hits a diving splash off the ropes. JDC sends Santana face-first into the ring post. Kazarian watches as the referee counts Santana, who is busted open, out. With the win, Kazarian earns one of the final two spots in the Slammiversary title match.

ABC Sends A Message To The System

In a heavily post-produced backstage promo segment, ABC talk about their TNA Tag-Team Championship aspirations. They boast creating their own luck and gloat about their wealth before touting their recent high-profile victories. “They say you can trust The System, but you can trust that ABC is gonna kick your ass!”

AJ Francis To Defend Digital Media Title & Clash With PCO

When we return, we see footage of PCO and Steph De Lander’s date being interrupted by First Class. We shoot to new footage of PCO freaking out afterwards and De Lander awaking in a room with him. We quickly cut to the First Class duo of AJ Francis and Rich Swann, who boast about having the International Heavyweight Championship.

They also continue to taunt PCO by gloating about chokeslamming De Lander through a table. Francis vows he is unafraid to defend his titles anywhere, any time. Santino Marella appears and says he heard is a fighting champion. He says that’s great because next week he’s defending his TNA Digital Media Championship. Win or lose, at TNA Slammiversary, it will be AJ Francis vs. PCO.

“Broken” Matt Hardy & Queen Rebecca Hardy defeated Eddie Edwards & Alisha Edwards

Back inside the 2300 Arena, the theme for the TNA World Tag-Team Champion hits and out comes Eddie Edwards and TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champions Alisha Edwards. They settle in the ring and their music dies down.

The theme for their opposition hits and out comes BROKEN Matt Hardy and for the first time in eight years, Rebecca Hardy, who is wearing similar entrance attire to BROKEN Matt. Kicking things off for their respective teams are Rebecca and Alisha. Fans chant “Queen Rebecca” as Alisha avoids her and tags right out. Edwards and Hardy come in and start to go at it.

Matt gets Eddie in the corner, and Rebecca pulls at his hair to assist her husband in the butt-kicking. Matt chokes Eddie on the ropes as the crowd comes to life in Philly with another “Queen Rebecca!” chant. Matt holds Eddie and lets Rebecca slap him.

Rebecca comes into the ring and joins Matt in stomping a mudhole in Eddie, who is slumped over in the corner against the turnbuckles on the mat. Matt takes Eddie to the opposing corner and blasts him with a punch. Eddie hits back with a chop of his own that elicits gasps from the crowd. Matt fires up with punches as fans chant “DELETE!” with each that lands.

Eddie ends up dodging Matt as he was charging at him with full steam, resulting in Matt slamming shoulder-first into the steel ring post. The show heads into a mid-match commercial break on that note. When the show returns, it’s still all Eddie dominating Matt until he tags Alisha in for a cheap-shot that backfires.

This leads to Rebecca and Alisha in the ring together for the first time in the match for some very sloppy offense. Matt and Rebecca fire up and hit some double team spots, including the trademark Poety in Motion Hardy Boyz spot.

After Alisha and Eddie take back over, we hear Alisha yelling at Rebecca to watch her husband as she chokes her on the ropes in front of Matt, as he is beaten down by Eddie on the floor. Back in the ring, Eddie holds Rebecca as Alisha blasts her with a kick.

Rebecca finally crawls over and gives Matt the hot-tag. BROKEN Matt comes in and hits the DELETE! turnbuckle spot and a big suplex, before climbing to the top-rope for a big elbow drop. He goes for the cover, but Eddie kicks out at two. Hardy hits a Side Effect after that, but again only gets two.

Brian Myers jumps on the apron and grabs Matt, prompting the referee to eject him from ringside. Hardy goes for a Twist of Fate, but Eddie counters into a Blue Thunder Bomb for a two-count of his own. Eddie exposes his knee by lowering his pad.

Rebecca runs in front of Matt to protect him the way he did for her at Against All Odds. She kicks Eddie low as the ref was busy dealing with Alisha. She hits a Twist of Fate and Matt hits one as well for the victory.

Brian Myers, ABC & Others Approach Santino Marella

Afterwards, we catch up with an angry Brian Myers. ABC is also in the mix and all plead their respective cases to Santino Marella. He yells at them that this is a professional sports place. Things will get handled next week. Myers thanks him for nothing and we head to another commercial break.

Jordynne Grace Issues Open Challenge For Next Week

When the show returns, we see Jordynne Grace with her TNA Knockouts Championship over her shoulder talking directly into the camera. She issues another open challenge for next week to anyone from anywhere. If they think they can take her title, they can try.

Joe Hendry defeated Jake Something in a Road To Slammiversary qualifier

The elaborate pre-match video package for our second of two Road To Slammiversary Qualifier matches airs after the commentators run down some dates for upcoming shows on the TNA Summer Tour.

Once the video wraps up, we return inside the Impact Zone where the two get ready to find out who will join the mix in the final spot in the TNA World Championship match with Moose at TNA Slammiversary in Montreal.

Jake Something heads to the ring first, followed by Joe Hendry, who gets a massive reaction from the Philadelphia crowd. Before the match gets started, the show heads into a quick commercial break. When we return, Hendry cuts a quick promo asking Something if he’s really sure he’s ready for the TNA World Championship.

Hendry leads fans in a “We Believe!” chant and then the bell sounds to get the main event of the show officially off-and-running. Hendry slaps a standing side headlock on Something early on. He sends him into the ropes, leap frogs him and then smashes him with a knee lift. He hoists him up for a stalling suplex after that for a two-count.

Something slaps a side head lock on Hendry from one knee, and uses the control to get back to his feet. He hits the ropes with a full head of steam and drives his massive frame shoulder-first into the bread-basket of the fan-favorite. He taunts the Philly crowd a bit and goes back to work on Hendry with some big shots.

The fight spills out to the floor, where Something sends Hendry into the ring apron. He sits him on the ring apron, backs up and runs at him with a cross-body as he’s sitting on the apron with his back against the ropes. Something rolls Hendry back into the ring and continues to work him over as fans chant “You suck!”

Something hits a big suplex for a two-count. After Hendry kicks out, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break. When the show returns, fans are chanting “Something sucks!” at Something as he controls Hendry with a rear chin-lock on the mat.

Hendry gets back to his feet and blasts Something with some big chops in the corner. Something catches Hendry coming off the ropes with a Michinoku Driver for a close two-count. Fans chant “We Believe!” as Hendry tries to fight from underneath, only for Something to continue to maintain control of the offense.

The commentators talk more about Nic Nemeth being laid out by a mystery attacker backstage earlier in the show as they talk about the other competitors who have qualified for the Slammiversary title tilt. The Philly fans break out in an awesome “Something’s missing!” chant at Something, as he controls Hendry with a rear chin-lock on the mat.

Hendry muscles the sizable Something up in an impressive power display, but Something ends up taking him down in vicious fashion with a power bomb for a close two-count. Hendry kips up soon after but he and Something both hit clotheslines at the same time.

They are both down and out being counted by the referee as fans break out in a loud “This is Awesome!” chant. Hendry hits a cutter and then with one arm, Hendry hits a massive Standing Ovation on Something for the victory. With the win, Hendry earns the final spot in the multiple-person world title match at TNA Slammiversary.

Fans sing along with Joe Hendry’s theme, which cuts off as he grabs a microphone for a quick post-match promo. He says he just became one-step closer to becoming a TNA World Champion. Fans respond with a “We Believe!” chant.

He says this happened because of the fans, who pop. He says he’ll see us all in Montreal, when he becomes the face of TNA. “And don’t you tell me it’s not possible, because anything’s possible…when…you…believe!” His music hits again and the fans sing along.

Who Attacked Nic Nemeth?

The camera cuts to The System, who are pleased with themselves. Moose thanks JDC for taking out Mike Santana and Nic Nemeth. JDC says he didn’t take out Nemeth. Moose says if he didn’t, who did? We see Frankie Kazarian smoking a cigar and laughing. “….marks.” He notices a camera. “Hey…what are you filming?!” That’s how this week’s show goes off the air. Thanks for joining us and don’t forget to follow me on Twitter/X.

Next week:

  • AJ Francis vs. Rhino (TNA Digital Media Title)
  • “Speedball” Mike Bailey vs. KUSHIDA vs. Jonathan Gresham
  • Jordynne Grace vs. TBA (TNA Knockouts Title Open Challenge)
  • Charlie Dempsey vs. Zachary Wentz

Matt Hardy feels AEW is more focused on five-star matches than impactful segments

Matt Hardy believes the Hardy Boyz will get a chance to cement their legacy in TNA Wrestling.

Hardy appeared on Busted Open Radio on Wednesday and discussed him and his brother reuniting at TNA Against All Odds on Friday. The Hardyz are both scheduled for TNA’s TV tapings in Philadelphia this weekend as well.

“I believe in TNA the Hardy Boyz can get the run that we deserve at this stage of our careers and that is the run to cement our legacy and that is very important to both of us,” Hardy said on the show.

Hardy was asked why he thinks they weren’t given the opportunity to have such a run in AEW.

“Look, we have incredible star power. If you were at Wrestlecon in Philadelphia, it was outrageous how much we signed, how many people that were there to see us. We have fans coming up crying to us like it’s 2000 all the time, but I feel like AEW is more focused on having a five-star match as opposed to having a segment that is hugely impactful and makes a moment,” Hardy responded.

Hardy continued to say that their time in AEW started well but took a turn after Jeff was arrested for DUI in June 2022.

“In the beginning, we started off very well. Jeff messed up and he made a mistake. Jeff tried to repent for that, he did everything, he went and got right and one thing that I can say about Jeff that I am very happy at the place he is in in his life. He’s practically perfect as a human being. He hasn’t been like this in well over 20 years.”

Hardy continued to say that AEW never gave them another opportunity to capitalize on their popularity after Jeff’s arrest.

“(Jeff) was in a good place, I just don’t know why we never got that other opportunity to show people what we can do and capitalize on the popularity that we have,” he continued.

“We would have loved to have had that run in AEW but low and behold, that didn’t happen. And I think we are both happy now that we are somewhere else where we feel like we’ll get utilized and optimized in our status as legends, as we are, legends who can still go.”

Hardy was complimentary of Tony Khan and AEW but said he and his brother were looking for something different.

“AEW is a great organization, the pro wrestling world needs it but it wasn’t the place for me and Jeff at this certain time because they are just in a different mindset. I think Tony Khan is in a different mindset. It is what is, it’s nothing to be hot about. Tony Khan, great dude. I was paid great while I was there. It was just, both us, myself and Jeff, we wanted something different. There was one point where I just said, we haven’t won a match in 11 months on TV and we are legitimately in the top five conversation of greatest tag teams of all time. Like, what is going on here?”

TNA Against All Odds live results: Moose vs. Matt Hardy, Jordynne Grace open challenge

Matt Hardy will attempt to become a three-time TNA World Champion as he attempts to dethrone Moose on tonight’s Against All Odds from Chicago, Illinois, under “Broken” rules which is assumed to mean anything goes.

After her unsuccessful attempt to become WWE NXT Women’s Champion, Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace has issued an open challenge for tonight’s show which will likely be answered by a notable opponent.

TNA Tag Team Champions The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) will defend against Nic & Ryan Nemeth while X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali will defend his title against Trent Seven.

Rivals will become partners as Steve Maclin & Mike Santana will unite to take on The Rascalz, and Josh Alexander & Eric Young will team up against former tag champions ABC.

Joe Hendry goes one-on-one with Frankie Kazarian while PCO takes on former TNA World Champion Rich Swann.

The pre-show will see Knockouts Tag Team Champions Masha Slamovich & Alisha Edwards defend against The Hex, and Sami Callihan vs. Jonathan Gresham.

**********

Sami Callihan defeated Jonathan Gresham

The Countdown to TNA Against All Odds pre-show kicks off inside the Impact Zone in Cicero Stadium in Chicago, with “The Octopus” Jonathan Gresham immediately making his way out to the ring for the opening contest. Out next is “The Death Machine” Sami Callihan. The fight immediately kicks off with a bang.

Callihan and Gresham brawl at ringside. Callihan licks his hand and chops the hell out of Gresham before Gresham fights back and sends Callihan into the steel ring post, shoulder-first. The two continue to fight on the floor, where Callihan hits a vicious suplex.

Back inside the ring, Gresham takes over and starts to use his sadistic style of offense, biting and gouging away at Callihan. KUSHIDA ends up coming out in doctor’s gear. He takes a swipe inside Gresham’s mouth and took a sample of the ink to get to the bottom of what has been going on with Gresham as of late. The distraction sets Callihan up for a pile driver for the win.

Masha Slamovich & Alisha Edwards defeated Marti Belle & Allysin Kay to retain TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Championship

After a quick backstage interview with Moose, who talks about the antics he endured during his visit to The Hardy Compound last night on Impact, we return inside the host venue for our second match on the Countdown pre-show.

Kicking things off for their respective teams are Edwards and Kay. Edwards demands Kay tag in Belle. She does and Belle immediately suplexes her down to the mat. She quickly tags Kay back in, who works Edwards over in the corner. Edwards quick-crawls to her corner and tags in Slamovich. She charges into a big shot from Edwards, who follows up by whipping her into the opposing corner.

She follows her in with a big elbow. She slams Slamovich down and hits a senton off the ropes. Belle tags in and follows up with a big splash for a pinfall attempt for a count of two. The Hex work over Slamovich in their corner of the ring, utilizing frequent tags to keep a fresh person on her at all times.

While tied up with the referee, Edwards yanks the hair of Kay to bring her down to the mat from the apron. She tags in and goes to work on Edwards in the corner as fans start up an anti-System chant. Slamovich tags back in and blasts Kay in between the shoulder blades with a vicious kick. The two land a clothesline at the same time. Both are down and both make it to their respective corners for the tag.

Belle and Edwards hit the ring with a ton of energy, but it Belle who settles in the offensive driver’s seat. Fans chant “Marti! Marti!” as she hits running double knees on Edwards in the corner. Edwards hits the DeLish, but is immediately taken out by Belle from behind afterwards. Belle and Edwards trade shots and Kay hits a Saito Suplex. Belle goes for the cover but only gets two.

The Hex end up alone in the ring with Edwards. They go for X Marks The Spot, but Slamovich returns to the ring to make the save. Edwards pushed Kay into Slamovich and Belle looked for a roll up from behind, only to get a count of two. The Hex go for X Marks The Spot again, but on the follow-up pin attempt, Slamovich jumps over to break it up just in time. Fans chant “That Was Three!” afterwards.

Edwards power bombs Kay off the ropes in the corner. Slamovich gets Belle on her shoulders and Edwards hits a bull dog to bring her off the hard way. A follow-up pin attempt gets a three count. Masha Slamovich and Alisha Edwards retain.

Mike Santana & Steve Maclin defeated The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz)

Tag-team action kicks things off on the pay-per-view portion of the 13th annual TNA Against All Odds pay-per-view. Santana and Wentz start things off for their respective teams. Santana looks for Spin The Block early, but Wentz avoids it. Maclin asks for the tag, and Santana obliges. Wentz also tags out, bringing in Miguel.

Maclin tags Santana back in after a few moves, and the two go for a double-suplex. Miguel takes over on Santana when the dust settles, choking him in the corner and raking his eyes along the top-rope. Miguel tags Wentz back in for some double-team spots, and Wentz picks up where Miguel left off, taking it to a grounded Santana.

Santana gets back to his feet and chops his way out of the corner. Wentz turns him back into the corner and blasts him with some chops of his own, before tagging Miguel back in. Miguel hits a single leg drop kick to Santana for a two-count. The Rascalz take turns kicking Santana on his knees, but Santana fights his way free and tags Maclin back in.

Maclin hits a big Olympic slam on Wentz to shift the offensive momentum. He hits the ropes and runs over Miguel when he tries getting involved. He walks into a cutter on Wentz from the apron. Wentz hits a running shooting star for a nearfall, only getting a count of two for his efforts. Miguel goes after the eyes of Maclin on the apron while Wentz has the referee’s back turned.

Miguel decks Maclin with a big kick. He stands on his throat and taunts the crowd before tagging Wentz back in. Wentz dropkicks Maclin under the bottom rope and out to the floor. Wentz wraps Maclin’s arm around the steel ring post before Miguel takes over back inside the ring.

Miguel goes for a Meteora, but Maclin counters and tags Santana back in. Santana takes the hot tag and hits the ring like a man possessed, taking out any-and-everything that moves with chops and kicks. He hits a wild “two-for-one” DDT. He follows up with a rolling Buck-50. Maclin hits a big running knee for a nearfall that only gets him two.

Wentz leaps up to Maclin on the turnbuckle in the corner with a big knee. He tags out and The Rascalz hit a double-team senton spot for a razor-close nearfall attempt. The Rascalz hit a big double-team stomp off the ropes spot for another close pin attempt moments later. A loud “TNA! TNA!” chant breaks out. Maclin tags in Santana, who hits a big lariat and super kick.

He hits an enzugiri in the corner. Miguel has the spray paint, but Maclin drills him from behind. Santana hangs him upside down in the tree of woe in the corner for Maclin. Maclin and Santana hit Caught in the Cross-hairs. Santana follows up with Spin The Block for the pinfall victory to wrap up an excellent opener to set the tone for the evening. After the match, fans chant for Maclin and Santana to “Hug It Out!” They do.

“BROKEN” Matt Hardy With A Message For Moose

Backstage, “BROKEN” Matt Hardy vows to make The System obsolete after tonight and become a three-time TNA World Champion. He talks about the match with Moose being a Broken Rules match and says tonight will end in a twist of fate with him holding the TNA Championship of the world.

PCO defeated Rich Swann

After that wraps up, back inside the building the new TNA Digital Media Champion AJ Francis accompanies his fellow First Class member Rich Swann to the ring. He cuts a promo as they settle in the ring, claiming they are reporting live from the worst city in the United States — Chicago. He tells us to have no fear because he is our TNA Digital Media Champion.

He claims he wears a Bulls jersey despite hating Chicago because it’s a Scottie Pippen jersey and he’s the Scottie Pippen of this business. He says everyone talked about Michael Jordan, but Jordan didn’t win anything until Pippen showed up. The lights go out and “PCO!” chants spread as “The French Canadian Frankenstein” emerges after a cinematic Frankenstein entrance.

The bell sounds and PCO immediately goes to work on Swann, grounding the First Class member and isolating his leg. PCO hits some big shots and then comes off the ropes with a dropkick to the back of Swann’s head. AJ Francis grabs PCO’s foot from ringside, which allows Swann to take over. Swann knocks PCO out to the floor. He hits a 450 splash off the ring apron onto PCO on the floor.

Back in the ring, Swann chokes PCO on the middle rope and then ties up the referee so Francis can blast PCO with a cheap shot from the floor. Swann puts the boots to PCO and climbs up to the middle rope for another 450 splash. This time, however, PCO moves out of the way and starts to come back to life as fans chant his name. PCO plants Swann with a DDT.

With Swann on his stomach, PCO puts his boots on the middle rope to put his body in an incline. While laying like that, PCO hits a middle rope leg drop. He goes to follow-up, but again Francis gets involved at ringside. As PCO comes out after him, Francis knocks him off the apron. He rolls PCO back in to Swann, who heads to the top-rope. He takes too long though, and PCO crotches him in the corner.

He knocks Francis down and then hits a wild flipping dive through the ropes to take Francis out at ringside. PCO came awfully close to landing on top of his head on the way down. Back in the ring, PCO hits the top-rope PCO-sault for the pinfall victory.

After the match, Steph De Lander makes her way out and joins PCO in the ring. She pulls PCO’s love letter out of her shirt and talks about how he gave it to her a few weeks ago. She says everyone has been wanting to know what her answer is. Does she say, “No?” Does she say, “Yes?” Does she swipe left, or does she swipe right? De Lander tells PCO she made him wait long enough. Will she go on a date with PCO? Her answer is, “Oui!”

Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers (w/ Alisha Edwards) defeated Nic & Ryan Nemeth to retain TNA World Tag-Team Championship

The “tag lines” graphic is shown on the screen ahead of their ring walks. Ryan Nemeth and Brian Myers kick things off for their respective teams. Nemeth does well with Myers early on, and quickly tags in Nic Nemeth. Nemeth picks up where his brother left off, taking it to one-half of The System in the early going.

Edwards tags in and Nemeth works him over, until Alisha Edwards gets involved at ringside. This leads to Dirty Dango coming out from the back out of nowhere and Edwards being ejected from ringside and sent to the back.

When the dust settles, Myers goes to work on Nic Nemeth in the ring, starting a lengthy run of offensive control for the reigning and defending tag champs. Nic finally makes the much-needed tag to Ryan Nemeth, who hits the ring and starts to take over until Myers blasts him with a kick and tags in Edwards.

Myers hits a big spear on Nemeth and Edwards adds to their offensive lead as the legal man. Dirty Dango remained at ringside and is hanging out in the Nemeth corner on the floor. TNA World Champion Moose also makes his way out from the break and he remains at ringside as Nic Nemeth tags in and fires up on offense. He hits a Fame-Asser for a two-count.

Fans chant “F**k Your Mohawk!” at Edwards. Nemeth hits Danger Zone and this one appeared over. He went for the cover, but there was interference from ringside. Moose and Dirty Dango are shown looking around. As the referee deals with this, Dirty Dango shocks everyone and sneak-attacks Ryan Nemeth, leading to Edwards scoring the pinfall victory. Dango celebrates with The System afterwards.

Frankie Kazarian defeated Joe Hendry

Gia Miller talks with ABC backstage for a quick backstage interview to promote their match against Josh Alexander and Eric Young. We then see footage of Jordynne Grace’s ear being worked on by the doctor backstage before her TNA Knockouts Championship Open Challenge later this evening.

Back inside the ring, Frankie Kazarian is introduced for the next match. Joe Hendry comes out as fans sing along with the hit smash, “I Believe In Joe Hendry!” The commentators point out there is a giant Joe Hendry billboard in Scotland today. Hendry gets on the mic after “We Believe!” chants die down.

He says there was a tiny bit of speculation about if he would show up tonight. He says he chose to be in Chicago and in TNA. He mentions taking on a TNA legend tonight and asks if Kaz has ever told him he looks like Antonio Bandaras of pro wrestling. He says like him, he’s hanging on a little too long.

Hendry says Kazarian got to ask himself if he’s really the king of TNA or just the dad from Spy Kids. Fans chant “Dad from Spy Kids!” The bell sounds to start this one off, and Hendry immediately goes to work on the arm of Kazarian. Kazarian breaks free. Hendry goes for a suplex but Kazarian blocks it and chops him. Kaz then walks into a kick from Hendry, who again goes for a suplex.

This time Kazarian counters into a chicken wing attempt. Hendry escapes and slams Kazarian down to the mat as another “We Believe!” chant breaks out. Hendry hoists Kazarian up for a long delayed suplex. Kazarian fights back with a guillotine leg-drop and a clothesline. He enjoys a few minutes in the offensive lead. Hendry fights back and hits some of his trademark spots.

As Hendry goes to finish things off, Kaz reaches in his tights and loads his fist up. Hendry hoists him up for a back suplex over the ropes, but Kaz blasts him with the loaded fist to knock him unconscious. He falls on him for the cover and gets the three count in what came out of nowhere.

The commentators point out what happened on a replay after the match. Kazarian puts Hendry in a chicken wing to add insult to injury. Ace Steel runs out to restore order. Kazarian backs off but then shoves Steel when he turned around. Steel turned and decked Kazarian with a single punch to wrap up the post-match scene.

Mustafa Ali defeated Trent Seven to retain TNA X-Division Championship

The “Tale of the Tape” graphic for the X-Division Championship contest flashes on the screen, and then Trent Seven makes his way out for his big title opportunity. The reigning and defending TNA X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali is out next, as commentators remind us that Campaign Singh and “Speedball” Mike Bailey are banned from ringside for this match.

Before the match begins, Trent Seven informs Mustafa Ali, who got a huge hometown pop from the Chicago crowd, that things were still rolling when he and Tom Hannifan’s interview ended on Impact. The footage is shown, which shows Ali showing his true colors and that he has been disingenuous all along as expected.

When we return live, fans chant “What’d He Say? What’d He Say?” as the audio wasn’t super hot. Trent gets a fast start on Ali and tries pulling off the title upset victory within seconds, but Ali avoids being put away. The fight spills out to the floor. Ali tries scolding the commentators for the footage we just saw, but Trent blasts him with a big shot and then machine gun rapid-fire chops against the barricade.

Back in the ring, Ali shifts the offensive momentum back in his favor. Fans break out in a “We Still Love You! We Still Love You!” chant as he adds to his lead over the Speedball Mountain challenger. Ali leaps at Seven in the corner with a knee, but is caught and power-bombed into the mat for his troubles. Ali fights back with a neck-breaker that helps him take back over control of the action.

Seven fights back and hits a Bop-N-Bang in the corner. Ali fights back with a wild DDT to the knee of Seven off the middle rope. Ali hits a low blow behind the referee’s back and follows up with the Seven Star Lariat. He can’t get the three-count, however, and Seven starts to fight back into the lead. He hits a huge scoop-slam off the top-rope for a close nearfall attempt.

Fans break out in a loud “This Is Awesome!” chant, which transitions into a passionate “TNA! TNA!” chant. Seven goes for the Birming-Hammer, but Ali blatantly goes to the eyes of Seven to avoid it. Ali attacks the left leg of Seven once again. Ali climbs to the middle rope, but Seven stops him from the apron. Seven climbs up after him.

Seven shoulder-smashes Ali off the ropes and he crashes down below on the hard part of the ring apron before landing on the floor at ringside. Fans chant “Holy sh*t! Holy sh*t!” The referee gets to the count of nine. Seven rolls into the ring to avoid being counted out, but as soon as he does, Ali connects with a 450 Splash for a pin attempt. Seven kicks out. Fans chant “That Was Three! That Was Three!”

Ali heads out to the floor angrily looking for something. He gets his X-Division Championship belt and takes it into the ring. He goes to blast Seven with it, but the referee stops him and takes it. As the ref is getting rid of the belt, Seven blasts Ali with a blatant low blow behind his back. He follows up with the Birming-Hammer for a close nearfall, but somehow Ali kicks out to keep this one going.

Seven hits Ali with a loud back chop. He sits him on the top turnbuckle and blasts him with another one before climbing up after him. He hoists Ali onto his shoulders for a Super Birming-Hammer, but Ali goes to the eyes of Seven once again to escape. He knocks Seven down to the mat and flies off the top-rope with a 450 Splash to the legs. He follows up by putting Seven in a Sharpshooter and cranking back on the weakened leg for the quick tap out victory.

Frankie Kazarian Gets Chicago Street Fight For Thursday’s Impact

Backstage, we see a livid Frankie Kazarian complaining about Ace Steel. Santino Marella walks up and tells him to take it easy. Santino asks if he wants to get his hands on him. Kazarian says he wrestled in the 1970s, but he’s probably dirty. Santino ends up making a Chicago Street Fight between Frankie Kazarian vs. Ace Steel for Thursday’s post-Against All Odds episode of TNA iMPACT On AXS TV.

ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) defeated Josh Alexander & Eric Young

Tag-team action is up next. The ABC duo of Ace Austin and Chris Bey make their way to the ring. Out next is the first of their two opponents, Eric Young. “The World Class Maniac” heads to the ring with his mask on and hood up. His partner, “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander, joins him in the ring and the bell sounds to start things off.

Kicking things off for their respective teams are Young and Bey. Young, in his Team Canada style singlet, takes the early offensive lead over Bey. He stops to do the Too Sweet hand gesture, which Bey obliges by doing it as well. Young and Bey both tag out and Alexander takes it to Austin. Austin tags out and Bey takes a shot at “The Walking Weapon.” Bey hits a nice hurricanrana and follows up with another big shot.

Alexander tags out. Young comes in and immediately finds himself on the defensive. Bey tags in Austin. The two hit some double team spots and then Bey tags back in again to work over Young. Fans rally behind Young with “Super Eric” chants. He fights back and finally makes the much needed tag to Alexander. Alexander hits a big release German Suplex on Bey.

Young tags back in and the two hit a double team spot off the ropes for a two count. A grab down low on Bey gets a huge pop and subsequent “Holy Sht! Holy Sht!” chant from the Chicago crowd. Austin tags in and hits Click Click Boom. He fights off both Alexander and Young by himself for a few moments. Alexander goes for a cross-body under the ropes onto Austin on the floor, but Austin had it well-scouted and avoided it.

Alexander locks Austin in an ankle lock from the floor. Bey hits a dive to break that up. Young follows that up with a final leaping splash over the ropes onto the pile of bodies on the floor. Alexander and Austin are left alone as the legal two men in the ring. Alexander heads to the top-rope as fans chant “Please Be Careful!” Austin ends up locking him in an ankle lock. Alexander escapes. Austin tags in Bey.

He hits a back suplex as Bey hits a top-rope splash for a cool double team spot. Alexander ends up with Austin on his back. Austin slaps on a sleeper hold. Alexander fights that off while picking up Bey. He hits a suplex with Austin still on his back choking him. Young tags back in. He looks for a pile driver on Austin, but lets it go when he sees Bey on the ropes.

He ends up getting Austin and Bey over his shoulders at the same time. They both escape and hit stereo kicks on the TNA legend for a close two-count. Young and Austin run into a camera man in the corner and the feed goes out for a second or two, as color bars flash on the screen. Alexander hits a wild back-breaker on Bey for a close two-count. He tags in Young.

They hit a rolling senton and top-rope elbow drop double-team spot for a close pin attempt, which Austin breaks up just in time. Alexander goes for the C4 Spike. Young accidentally takes out Alexander going for a move, and Bey capitalizes by finishing him off for the pinfall victory. Really, really good match from these four.

Jordynne Grace defeated Tatum Paxley in an Open Challenge to retain TNA Knockouts Championship

The stage is set for our next match of the evening, which is one of the co-featured bouts. The TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace, who has been the talk of the wrestling town the past couple of weeks, heads to the ring for her advertised Open Challenge.

The commentators remind us she was getting stitches in her ear earlier tonight after her hard-fought battle at NXT Battleground 2024 against NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. Answering Grace’s open challenge, after a slight delay, is none other than WWE NXT Superstar Tatum Paxley.

As Paxley settles inside the squared circle as the mystery open challenge opponent for TNA Knockouts Champion Grace, the commentators remind us that she tried to steal the TNA Knockouts Championship at NXT Battleground 2024, before ending up in a pull-apart with Ash By Elegance.

Now the Personal Concierge of Ash by Elegance, George Iceman, comes out to interrupt the two before the match begins. He talks about the injustice she faced by Paxley. He says they won’t file a lawsuit. He then does his long drawn out introduction for Ash By Elegance, who comes out to get a close look at this match.

She takes a seat at the top of the entrance ramp and then the bell sounds to get things started between Grace and Paxley. The two lock-up and Grace muscles the NXT Superstar into the corner, where she gives her a clean break. The two lock-up again and once again the stronger champion muscles the challenger into the corner, giving her a clean break.

Grace continues to dominate the action, hitting some of her trademark spots. She goes for a Juggernaut Driver, but Paxley avoids it. Paxley hits her signature move off the ropes and then slaps a choke/headlock on Grace, which she focuses on the bad stitched up ear of the TNA Knockouts Champion.

Grace hits a Juggernaut Jackhammer for a close nearfall attempt. Ash By Elegance is shown watching on from the top of the stage as a loud “This is Wrestling!” chant spreads throughout Cicero Stadium. Paxley goes for a back-slide pin attempt, but Grace hits a back-fist to avoid it. Grace hits a Death Valley Driver and rolls through into a Juggernaut Driver for the pinfall victory.

After the match, Ash By Elegance runs down to the ring with her fist loaded with a foreign object. She goes to hit her with it, but Grace avoids it. She points out the bejeweled knuckles after taking Ash out. On the floor, she dumps her own champagne all over as she kicks and screams. The TNA Knockouts Champion heads to the back to wrap up the post-match scene.

Moose defeated “BROKEN” Matt Hardy in a Broken Rules match to retain TNA World Championship

After the TNA Knockouts Championship contest wrapped up, the pre-match video package for the main event aired to set the stage for the TNA World Championship contest, which will be under “Broken Rules.” No countouts, no disqualifications. “BROKEN” Matt Hardy emerges to a big pop and chants of “DELETE! DELETE!”

The reigning, defending TNA World Champion Moose is out next as fans in Chi-Town chant his name while he makes his way to the ring accompanied by The System members Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers and Alisha Edwards. The bell gets this one started and the two lead fans in dueling “Delete! Delete!” and “Moose! Moose!” chants.

Hardy and Moose start to mix it up, and we see Hardy start off strong. Moose fights back and takes over, but Hardy comes to life again out of nowhere and brings the fight out to the floor. Hardy connects with a Twist of Fate on Moose on the floor. Moose is completely out. Hardy takes a while to get the big man up and back into the ring. As soon as he does, however, Moose rolls right back out to the floor.

Hardy follows out after him, but Moose grabs a trash can lid and blasts him with it hard. He repeats this a few times and then Alisha Edwards is shown throwing chairs in the ring. Moose, meanwhile, slams Hardy on a trash can on the floor. Moose grabs a steel chair and wears it out over the back of a grounded Hardy at ringside.

Moose drags a steel ladder from under the ring. He heads over to the other side of the ring and reaches under, where he pulls out another chair. He heads over and blasts Hardy across the spine with it twice, just as Hardy was finally starting to get back to his feet. Moose then heads back to prop the ladder up on the ring apron. He unfolds a steel chair and lays the other side of the ladder on it.

Back in the ring, which is filled with dozens of chairs at this point, Moose goes to pick up a lifeless Hardy near the ladder bridge he just set up. Hardy blasts Moose with a low blow and then grabs one of the steel chairs and begins going to town on the TNA World Champion with it. Out on the floor again, the two fight through the crowd before returning inside the squared circle.

Once in the ring again, Hardy settles into a comfortable offensive lead. He has the TNA World Champion laid out and he climbs to the top-rope. Hardy leaps off and connects with a flying elbow smash for a close two-count. Moose starts to fight back and take over. He heads out to the floor, where he pulls a table out from under the ring. Moose puts the table in the ring and heads back in himself as well.

Moose leans the table long-ways against the turnbuckles in the corner. Alisha Edwards hands Moose another steel chair. Moose adds it to a massive pile of chairs. He brings Hardy up to the top-rope in front of the pile of chairs. He hits a super-plex with Hardy landing on the giant chair pile as fans break out in a loud “TNA! TNA!” chant. Moose goes for the cover, but Hardy will not die, as he kicks out at two.

Hardy recovers and takes back over on offense. He gets Moose off the top-rope and power-bombs him onto the giant pile of chairs for a close nearfall attempt of his own. Hardy heads out to the floor and pulls out a cardboard box from under the ring. Fans chant “What’s In The Box?!” Hardy puts it in the ring and begins to open it, when Moose blasts him in the back of the dome with a trash can lid.

Now the TNA World Champion heads over to the box and opens it himself. He smiles when he sees what it is. It’s his old football helmet. He puts it on, but sees Hardy recovering. He charges at him, but Hardy back-body-drops him onto the ladder bridge that Moose set up across the ring apron and an unfolded chair earlier in the match. Fans chant “Holy sh*t! Holy sh*t!” upon the crash-landing of the champ.

Hardy heads out to the floor and sets up a ladder before pulling out another table from under the ring. He then grabs a second ladder and sets it up on the other side of the table. Hardy climbs up to the top of the ladder and leaps off, putting Moose through the table down below with a flying leg-drop. After another “Holy sh*t!” chant dies down, Hardy rolls Moose back into the ring. Hardy is busted open and yells out, “I like the taste of my own blood!”

Fans respond with a “You sick f**k!” chant. Hardy unfolds a steel chair in the middle of the ring. He picks Moose up and hits a Twist of Fate onto it. He goes for the cover, but Alisha Edwards comes in with a kendo stick and blasts Hardy over and over again. Rebecca Hardy comes out to a big reaction from the crowd. She tackles Edwards and the two cat-fight in the ring. Edwards hits her with a kendo stick, but Rebecca fights back and hits a Twist of Fate.

Hardy recovers and gets back to his feet. He waits for Moose, who is in front of the table set up long ways in the corner, to get up. When he does, he charges at him and goes for a spear. Moose moves and Hardy spears his wife through the table. Moose follows up with a spear to Hardy and covers him for the pinfall victory to retain. The System re-join Moose in the ring to celebrate his victory.

Jeff Hardy Returns To TNA

They all hold their titles up high in the air. They aren’t satisfied with that, however, as they begin a post-match attack of Hardy and his wife, which includes them putting the boots to Hardy’s wife. Hardy covers her body with his own, ala Dusty Rhodes saving a young Dustin Rhodes from Ted DiBiase and Virgil. The theme for Joe Hendry hits for a big pop. He runs out to make the save, but gets guzzled up by The System almost immediately as well.

Out of nowhere, to the iconic sounds of his old WWE theme song, is none other than Jeff Hardy. “The Charismatic Enigma” comes out with some big specially designed steel chair, which he blasts over one of The System members before following up with Twists of Fate on anything that moves. He heads to the top-rope and hits a Swanton Bomb on Moose as the crowd in Chicago goes wild.

His legendary theme plays again as he and Matt Hardy embrace. Joe Hendry, Nic and Ryan Nemeth all join Matt, Jeff and Reby Hardy in the ring to pose as fans chant “TNA! TNA!” Matt Hardy leads everyone in a “DELETE! DELETE!” chant and then the credits roll to wrap up this year’s TNA Against All Odds pay-per-view. Thanks for joining us and follow me on Twitter/X.

TNA Impact live results: The System visit the Hardy Compound

“Broken” Matt Hardy has been a thorn in The System’s side since he returned to TNA and now, the faction led by TNA World Champion Moose will invade the infamous Hardy Compound on tonight’s TNA Impact.

Hardy invited Moose, Eddie Edwards and Bryan Myers after attack The System executed on Nic & Ryan Nemeth and Joe Hendry.

The Nemeth brothers will be in tag team action against former TNA Tag Team Champions ABC.

After The Rascalz attacked both he and Steve Maclin last week during their match, Mike Santana will take on the team’s Zachary Wentz one-on-one.

Following her surprise appearance at last Sunday’s NXT Battleground during Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace’s challenge of Roxanne Perez, Ash by Elegance will be in action against an opponent to be named.

In what could set up a future Knockouts Tag Team title match, current titleholder Masha Slamovich will take on Marti Belle of The Hex.

In another women’s bout, Dani Luna will battle former Knockouts Champion Tasha Steelz.

**********

The go-home show for TNA Against All Odds kicked off with a video recap of the top moments from last week’s show. This included Frankie Kazarian vs. Nic Nemeth in the main event, which Nemeth won, as welll as the post-match attack from The System. Also shown is the message from “Broken” Matt Hardy that ended the 20th anniversary show last Thursday.

Mike Santana def. Zachary Wentz

The commentators speak of it being a wild week in wrestling, one they vow will end in “wonderful” fashion. With that said, the theme for The Rascalz hit to bring out Zachary Wentz. Wentz headed to the ring accompanied by Trey Miguel for the opening contest.

Mike Santana’s theme hit next, and the crowd popped as he made his way to the ring. As soon as he reached the ringside area, he slid into the ring and immediately went to work on Wentz. The bell rung and the match got off to a hot start. Wentz tried to go to the eyes of Santana, but Santana beat him down and sent him to the floor.

Trey Miguel tried to interfere, leading to Santana chasing him around the ringside area. The loss in focus allows Wentz to hit a top-rope moonsault to Santana on the floor. Back in the ring, Wentz connected with a running Shooting Star for a two-count.

After a few minutes, the crowd rallied Santana into an offensive comeback, which Wentz ultimately cut short before taking over control of the action. Miguel gets in some helpful assists, choking Santana on the ropes from the floor. Santana fights back and stops a shot attempted by Wentz. He told him, “Not tonight, sucka!” before delivering a death valley driver of his own.

The two trade shots in vicious fashion back-and-forth. Wentz hits a headlock DDT (BFT). Steve Maclin hit the ring to stop Trey Miguel from getting involved again. Santana hits Spin The Block for the win out of nowhere seconds later. Santana and Maclin have a stare down afterwards.

Mustafa Ali Interview

A sit-down interview with Mustafa Ali is shown. Ali talks about the forefathers of the X-Division and his path to excellence. He claims to be all about fairness and equal opportunity. He talks about the diverse roster that’s propelling the business forward and inspiring the next generation.

Ali is pressed about some rule-breaking tactics he has used in matches, but stammers through the topic and focuses on some technicalities about his win/loss record. He talks over an attempted question about losing in tag-team action last week.

When some tough questions about “Speedball” Mike Bailey and Trent Seven come up, Ali doesn’t want to answer. His people interject and inform the interviewer that he has surpassed his allotted interview time. After this, the show went into a commercial break.

The System Talk The Hardy Compound

We see The System backstage when we return. Moose is warned by Eddie Edwards about bad things happening at The Hardy Compound. Moose is overly confident. Masha Slamovich approaches Alisha Edwards, who doesn’t want to talk right now. The Hex have words with Slamovich to end the segment.

Marti Belle def. Masha Slamovich

Back inside the Impact Zone, Masha Slamovich’s theme hits to bring her out for the next match of the evening. Her opponent, Marti Belle from The Hex, comes out accompanied by Allysin Kay and then the bell sounded to start this one off.

The two yell off-mic back-and-forth to start things off. They push each other and then a side head lock brings things down to the mat, where Slamovich ends up controlling things. Belle brings it back standing and switches behind one-half of the Knockouts Tag-Team Champions, taking her arm and locking it up.

Kay gets involved at ringside again, choking Slamovich over the ring ropes. Moments later, we see her try and get involved in a pin attempt, but the referee catches it. Seconds later, Belle rolls Slamovich up again, and Kay leans on her for help from ringside and the referee doesn’t see it.

Backstage With Steph De Lander, PCO

Backstage, Steph De Lander says she’s gonna give PCO her response at Against All Odds. First Class walk by loudly and leave. As they do, PCO is shown in the background. We head to another commercial break on that note.

PCO Attacks First Class

When we return from the break, Gia Miller is standing on the entrance ramp. She introduces the First Class duo of AJ Francis and Rich Swann. AJ is asked about defeating Laredo Kid last week to become the new TNA Digital Media Champion. She brings up Swann’s involvement and asks if that taints his victory.

Miller brings up a rose Francis is also holding in his hand. He claims it’s from a fellow admirer backstage. The lights go out. When they come back on, PCO is standing behind First Class. He decks Francis. Swann tried to attack from behind, but PCO no-sold it and decked him as well.

Security rushes out to keep things from escalating. PCO picks up the rose Francis dropped, which the commentators point out was obviously for De Lander. They remind us that De Lander will give PCO her answer at Against All Odds.

Dani Luna def. Tasha Steelz

An Against All Odds promo airs and then we return inside the Impact Zone, where Tasha Steelz makes her way out for the next match of the evening. Three weeks ago she beat Jody Threat, which the commentators remind us about.

After Steelz settled inside the squared circle, the Spitfire entrance tune played. Dani Luna comes out with Jody Threat and the Rancid dude. Luna goes one-on-one with Steelz, and the bell sounds to get it underway.

Luna takes the early offensive lead, hitting a falcon arrow for a close two-count. Steelz takes over from there for several minutes. The commentators, meanwhile, spend the majority of the match focusing on why Lars Frederiksen is relevant on any level.

He knows how to work with a group to succeed on the road is the basic gist. We head to a mid-match commercial break with Steelz in control of the action. Back from the break, Steelz is shown still very much dominating the offense.

Luna hits a big clothesline to shift the offensive momentum in her favor. A drop kick that lands right on the money only helps her momentum grow. She hit a big power bomb for a close two-count. She goes for the Luna Landing, but Steelz rakes the eyes to escape.

Steelz blasts Luna with a big kick. She follows up with a high spot out of the corner for a close near falll attempt. Steelz wraps both of Luna’s arms up in a submission attempt. Luna gets her foot on the bottom rope to escape.

Luna connects with a ricochet blue thunder bomb for a close two-count. She goes for the Luna Landing, but again doesn’t get it. Steelz avoids a cutter by Luna, who counters with a third Luna Landing attempt. This time she gets it for the win.

Joe Hendry Enlists Ace Steel, Will Face Kazarian At Against All Odds

Gia Miller is backstage with Joe Hendry. She brings up the momentum he is riding lately and asks if The System ended it last week. Hendry says all last week taught him is that maybe he still has a thing or two to learn. He says he’s acquired the services of Ace Steel.

In he comes touting the skills of Hendry. Frankie Kazarian enters the picture and takes exception to Steel thinking he has what it takes to teach Hendry how to be a top guy. He says kings aren’t taught, they’re born.

Steel says in his hometown of Chicago, Hendry will take on Kazarian. Kaz agrees but says ‘if you’re gonna hit the king, you better kill the king.’ Joe Hendry vs. Frankie Kazarian is now official for TNA Against All Odds.

The System At The Hardy Compound

We move into the inside of a vehicle, where we see members of The System presumably heading to The Hardy Compound. They talk about how they were invited there as we head into a commercial break before anything happens.

When the show returns, The System are shown out of the car at The Hardy Compound. They see some big artwork and claim they know who did it. They start to say Jeff Hardy’s name but after “Je..” they are cut-off and told “Don’t say it.”

“Broken” Matt Hardy appears on a balcony and introduces Queen Rebecca, the Gothic Baby and others from The Hardy Compound. Moose says he doesn’t give a damn about any of those people. He says he’s glad they’re here because he’s gonna kick his ass in front of them.

Hardy warns Moose not to take another step, because he’s gonna set off a trap-a-booby. This happens, which results in fireworks and the most annoyingly loud ringing sound that increases in loudness as The System are shown covering while fireworks erupt around them.

Brian Myers ends up in a weird room that looks like a rave room for a party of tweakers. He finds an action figure and looks around like he’s on an acid trip as the camera quick cuts to different Starcade neon logos, pinball machines and other junk. He finds another action figure and says, “That’s an upgrade.”

Some weird music, PeroxWhy?Gen, perhaps, plays, as Myers continues to survey the room. A little kid does Hardy’s bizarre war cry, which Hardy echos. Myers is seemingly transported to another location. We hear someone saying he’ll always be Edge’s bitch. Other announcements from Josh Matthews and others throughout his career, including his long losing streak, are overheard.

He is laid out by a plastic skeleton. Hardy’s kids jumps off the ladder with a leg drop on him. Back out to the woods we go, where Eddie Edwards is asking if anyone is out there. A kid approaches him and calls himself Wolfgang. He tells him someone is behind him. He ends up turning into a wolf like Teen Wolf and howling at the moon as the kid yells “Yes! Yes!” and howls as well.

Now we catch up with Alisha Edwards, who walks around a staircase looking at pictures, statues and other crap as intense piano music plays. She makes it to Reby Sky, who is playing the piano with her kid next to her. Alisha calls her home a house of horrors. She thanks her. She tells her to move her stupid kid, or she will. She tells her she’s welcome to try. The kid casts a spell on her and things explode. No, honestly.

Moose is now shown being brave in the woods, demanding “Broken” Matt Hardy show his face. A little kid yanks on his pants from behind. Moose asks the kid if he’s stupid enough to put his hands on him. He tells him if he wants to see his dad, follow him. He does. Moose yells, “Senior Benjamin, where are you?!”

We shoot inside a personal home theater where “Broken” Matt Hardy is shown on a screen talking about Senior Benjamin. Moose walks into another broken down house. He says it is Matt Hardy’s childhood home. He sees art work and says Matt Hardy is one weird dude. Hardy appears behind him and says “Yes!” before slamming him into the wall and knocking him out.

Hardy puts Moose in a wheelchair and runs him like a psycho. We catch back up with Reby Sky, who has Alisha in a guillotine. She cuts the cord and a giant blade — chops her head off? We don’t see, but are led to believe this. Moose is wheeled into a lake of reincarnation. Hardy says it’s June so the water is wonderful. Moose emerges in a football outfit as NFL on NBC music plays. Moose asks Hardy what he has done to him. Hardy says he has reincarnated him to his best version ever. No. 69. He wants him at his best at Against All Odds when he beats him for the title.

Moose says he’s delusional and won’t make it to Against All Odds. He goes to tackle him but a Drone appears. Hardy thanks the drone and then we see The System re-appear in their normal gear at The Hardy Compound entrance gate. They ask each other if what just happened was real. Moose shouts that Matt Hardy is dead tomorrow. Mercifully, we head to another commercial break to end this.

Ash By Elegance def. Jada Stone

Jada Stone is shown making her ring entrance, in progress, when we return. The commentators remind us she was recently in action on TNA Xplosion. We hear the personal ring announcer / concierge for Ash By Elegance. He talks briefly to Stone before demanding she and the referee get out of the ring.

He calls it sacred ground that is about to be graced by beauty personified. He welcomes the gorgeous, stunning and absolutely beautiful Ash By Elegance. Out she comes, fresh off of her appearance NXT Battleground 2024. The commentators talk about that as she heads to the ring.

Rosemary is shown leering in the rafters with a spotlight lit under her as the camera focuses on her, just as Ash and Jada lock-up to start their match off. Ash takes the early lead, throwing Jada in the corner. She does some acrobatic movements and taunts her as we cut back to Rosemary in the rafters.

The action briefly makes it out to the floor, before returning inside the squared circle, where Ash By Elegance remains in control of things throughout. Stone hits a big kick in the corner that decks Ash. She goes for a moonsault, but Ash got the double knees up. She turns Stone inside-out with a clothesline before heading to the top-rope herself. She hits Rarified Air for the pin fall victory.

Jonathan Gresham Addresses Sami Callihan

Jonathan Gresham is shown in a vignette that starts off eerily similar to some of The Hardy Compound fun we just watched. He very briefly sends a “thumbs up / thumbs down” message to Sami Callihan ahead of TNA Against All Odds. We head to another commercial break afterwards.

Jordynne Grace Issues Open Challenge For Against All Odds

Jordynne Grace is shown talking into the camera. She says she is disappointed about losing at NXT Battleground. She says she should have anticipated some interference by Ash By Elegance or others. She says she still made history and she’s still the TNA Knockouts Champion.

She issues an open challenge to anyone in WWE, MLW, AAA, STARDOM or the independent scene. Anyone who thinks they can beat her for the TNA Knockouts Championship, come try and take it. She makes it clear regardless of who it is, nothing can stop ‘The Juggernaut.’

The Nemeth Brothers def. ABC

The commentators run down the lineup for the TNA Against All Odds 2024 pay-per-view at Cicero Stadium in Chicago, Ill. on June 14. We then return inside the Impact Zone, where the ABC theme hits. Out comes Chris Bey and Ace Austin for our advertised tag-team main event.

After they settle in the ring, the lights go down and Nic Nemeth’s theme plays. Out he comes accompanied by “The Hollywood Hunk” Ryan Nemeth. The Nemeth Brothers head to the ring for their first-ever tag-team match. We head to a pre-match commercial.

Ryan Nemeth and Chris Bey kick things off for their respective teams, as the bell sounds to start this one off when the show returns from break. Nemeth slaps a side head lock on Bey and takes the early control. Bey escapes and shoulder blocks him down. He hits a deep arm drag and gloats. Bey calls out “The Show Off.”

Ryan plays to the crowd a bit and ultimately makes the tag. Nic Nemeth comes in and the crowd energy picks up. They get ready to lock up, but Nic drops down for a double leg dive. He gets Bey down and covers him for a quick two-count. Bey fights back and gets the better of Nemeth, so he stops and does the hip-swivel to taunt him.

Ace Austin tags in and picks up where Bey left off, taking it to Nic. The ABC duo settle into a comfortable offensive lead for a few minutes, as Austin grounds Nemeth and starts to focus on his isolated arm. The crowd tries to rally behind Nic, who shows signs of life and begins fighting back.

Austin cuts his comeback attempt short and brings Bey back in. Bey adds to their offensive lead and does some more arrogant taunting of Nic, Ryan and the crowd as we shift gears and head into the final commercial break of the show.

After the show returns from break, Nic is shown being kept isolated on ABC’s half of the ring. Bey continues to go to work on him until missing a big splash in the corner. Ryan takes the hot tag from there and hit the ring with a ton of energy.

The crowd comes alive as Ryan helps establish the offensive lead before tagging Nic back in. Nic gets the Fame-Asser but not all of it. He goes for the follow-up pin attempt, but Bey kicks out at two to keep this one alive. Ryan tags back in and along with Nic, hits some impressive double-team spots on Bey.

The commentators talk about them showing good team work their first time out. Bey and Ryan come off the ropes with shots that land at the same time. They’re both laid out and slow to get to their corners. They do, however, and each make the tag.

It is Ace Austin who takes the offensive lead when the smoke clears after the double tag. Austin blasts Nic with a huge kick that knocks him silly. He falls right on top of him for the cover, but somehow Nic kicks out. All four end up in the ring at the same time. Bey takes out Ryan and joins Ace with a double-team spot on Nic.

A kick-brainbuster combo leads to another pin attempt for the ABC duo, which Ryan breaks up just in time. Ryan tags in and hits a big DDT to Austin. Nic, meanwhile, drops Bey with a well-timed super kick. Fans chant “TNA! TNA!” as all four guys are down and recovering. Bey sends Ryan over the ropes and out to the floor. He leaps over for a splash at ringside.

Nic rolls Austin up, but Austin kicks out. Austin blocks a super kick attempt and takes over with a face-stomp for a close two-count of his own. Bey and Austin go for the 1-2-Sweet, but Ryan holds Ace’s foot from ringside. Ryan helps Nic hit Danger Zone for the pin fall victory.

The Nemeth Brothers head into their title shot at Against All Odds off a victory. Ryan and Nic pose on the ropes in the corner as the commentators plug TNA Against All Odds on Friday, June 14. That’s how this week’s show went off the air. Thanks for joining us and follow me on Twitter/X.
