Logan Paul reacts to ‘horrible’ WWE triceps injury, feels he owes CM Punk apology

Logan Paul feels like he owes CM Punk an apology after mocking Punk for tearing his triceps a couple years ago.

At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23, Paul suffered his own torn triceps while The Vision were defending their World Tag Team titles against The Street Profits. He opened up about the injury on his Impaulsive podcast this week and said he never knew how bad a torn triceps could actually be. When Punk sustained his injury in 2024 and had to miss several months, Paul just thought he was a “p*ssy.”

“I tore my tricep off the bone, and a little piece of bone literally came with the tendon. It’s insane because — I’ll be honest, when CM Punk tore his tricep, I just thought he was a major p*ssy,” Paul said. “I cut a promo about it. I’m like, ‘You tore your wittle tricep?’ When I said it, I was like, ‘I hope this doesn’t ever happen to me.’ And he was just standing there and I remember thinking, ‘The dude tore his tricep. How was he out for six months? How bad could it be? It’s a f***ing tricep.’ It’s horrible.”

Paul explained that his injury happened at the very end of the SNME match in what was the last spot he was set to take part in.

“So what had happened was, I was on the outside, a nearly 300-pound [Angelo] Dawkins comes flying over the ropes,” Paul said. “He lands on me, my arm is flexed in trying to catch him landing on the ground — and too much weight, too much tension. I could feel the tendon snap off the elbow.”

Immediately, Paul knew he was injured and was feeling real pain, not selling like a wrestler typically does. He had to make sure after the match that Bron Breakker was not too rough when raising Paul’s arm in the air.

“I told Austin [Theory[ when we were in the ring, I said, ‘I tore my tricep.’ And he looks at — we’re still working — and he looks at me, he’s like, ‘What? Are you f***ing serious?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah.’ And then Bron Breaker goes to raise our arms because we had just won the match,” he said. “And I go, ‘I hurt my arm, I hurt my arm, I hurt my arm.’ And he takes a second. I’m like, ‘Please, careful, careful.’ And then he slowly raises it up and it was fine. But in that moment, I was like, bro, my partner’s about to rip my f***ing arm off more than it already is.”

Mental toll of the injury —

The injury has Paul feeling depressed and “mentally stuck,” which is a very unusual place for him. He cannot see the silver lining in the situation yet. Before this happened, Paul felt like he had a ton of momentum in WWE and was ready to go on a “generational” tag team run with Theory.

Theory is not vacating the World Tag Team titles despite Paul’s injury. Instead, Breakker is filling in with all members of The Vision eligible to defend the belts. Doctors have given Paul a six-month recovery timeline, but he’s already undergone surgery and is working to come back as soon as possible.

Amid Paul’s injury, WWE is considering adding new members to The Vision. Maxxine Dupri potentially joining the faction is a storyline that has already started to play out on television.

Logan Paul shares tricep surgery recovery photo

Logan Paul has undergone successful tricep tear surgery and is currently on the road to recovery.

Recently, Paul uploaded a carousel of pictures on social media and notified fans about his tricep tear surgery. Expected to be out for months, Paul also shared he was awake during the entire process. Now, a couple of days later, Paul has shared another post-surgery image.

Paul shared a series of pictures and videos on his Instagram stories where he showcased his injury recovery road. In the first photo, he showed the yellow and red bruising on his tricep, indicating signs of healing.

In the next video, he boasted about his previous achievements and the current struggles he is going through due to the injury. “Crazy how I went from body slamming 300 pound dudes to barely being able to bounce a ball. Life comes at you fast kids,” Paul wrote.

A tricep bear generally requires 6 to 9 months to recover, and as of now, neither Paul nor WWE has shared a concrete update on his potential return timeline. Before his injury, Paul was the WWE Tag Team Champion with Austin Theory on RAW.

More on Logan Paul’s tricep injury

Logan Paul sustained the injury during his latest Saturday Night’s Main Event match. His injury happened toward the end of the match, when he tried catching Angelo Dawkins during his dive. Both men landed awkwardly, with Paul taking pressure on his triceps.

WWE considering new additions to The Vision

It sounds like Paul Heyman’s faction The Vision could be getting some reinforcements soon.

With Bronson Reed already sidelined, The Vision suffered another blow with Logan Paul tearing his triceps last weekend at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. The World Tag Team titles do still remain in The Vision’s possession with Bron Breakker filling in as Austin Theory’s partner. And Dave Meltzer reports that WWE has discussed the idea of adding other members to the group, even past the teased addition of Maxxine Dupri.

Meltzer wrote in the new edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter:

  • On Raw, they said that Paul Heyman had put ‘The Vision’ and not individual members of the team in all contracts related to the title, so Theory & Bron Breakker (the only members of the team right now not injured, although I expect them to add members–besides Maxxine Dupri – and there has been talk of that even before this injury) are going to be the tag team champions for now.

The Vision has been snakebitten by injuries since its introduction. Founding member Seth Rollins hurt his shoulder in 2025, which sped up the timeline for him to be kicked out of the group. Breakker then needed to undergo hernia surgery earlier this year before returning at WrestleMania.

A connection between Theory and Dupri has been forming on WWE programming ahead of Dupri possibly splitting off from Otis & Akira Tozawa. Past that, it’s not known who could potentially join The Vision.

Logan Paul’s recovery timeline —

Paul has already undergone triceps surgery and was given a six-month timeline for how long he’ll be out of action. He is hoping to make it back much sooner, though, writing that he wants to be back “in a couple weeks.”

“Tore my tricep, got surgery while wide awake, told doc I wanna feel it all. Still the Tag Team champ just FYI,” Paul wrote on Instagram this Wednesday. “They’re telling me 6 month recovery but I don’t believe them, I’ll be back in a couple weeks with some @drinkprime shake (32g protein).”

Logan Paul undergoes triceps surgery, gives timeline for WWE return

Doctors have given Logan Paul a six-month recovery time, but he’s hoping to make it back to a WWE ring much sooner than that.

Paul sent out a social media post today revealing that he has undergone surgery after suffering a torn triceps last weekend at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. The injury happened during a match where Paul & Austin Theory successfully defended their World Tag Team titles against The Street Profits. Despite this injury, The Vision will remain champions with Bron Breakker filling in for Paul.

Optimistically, Paul wrote that he wants to return in only a couple of weeks.

“Tore my tricep, got surgery while wide awake, told doc I wanna feel it all. Still the Tag Team champ just FYI,” he posted on Instagram. “They’re telling me 6 month recovery but I don’t believe them, I’ll be back in a couple weeks with some @drinkprime shake (32g protein). Good news I can still rip packs bc @ripit about to launch. Keep that title warm for me @wwe @austin_theory @paulheyman @bronbreakkerwwe. @bronsonishere let’s hang out.”

Breakker is only a few weeks removed from his own injury layoff. He was forced to undergo hernia surgery on the road to WrestleMania 42 but returned at the event itself.

Logan Paul’s injury —

On Raw, it was said that Paul’s injury happened near the end of the SNME match while taking a dive from Dawkins. Michael Cole said on commentary that Paul would be out of action for months.

Theory avenged his tag team partner by attacking Dawkins on Raw and also assaulting Joe Hendry, who was performing a concert mocking Paul.

iShowSpeed lays out Logan Paul following WWE WrestleMania 42 match

iShowSpeed already has his WrestleMania moment.

The popular streamer had his-first ever match on Saturday, losing a six-man tag team match with The Vision against LA Knight and The Usos. After LA Knight pinned Austin Theory with the BFT, Paul was upset that Speed didn’t break up the pin. Paul then proceeded to attack Speed, taking him out of the ring and set him up on the announce table. Paul was about to enter the top rope when The Usos and Knight cut him off for the save.

Speed recovered and was encouraged by the babyfaces to go after Paul, who was on the announce table. Speed launched off and hit a splash, sending Paul crashing.

Several weeks ago, Speed got involved in the World Tag Team title match against The Usos, accidentally laying out Knight. The distraction was enough for The Vision to pick up the titles over Jimmy & Jey. Speed tried to apologize after the fact, but Knight ended up laying him out during one of his streams. After more chicanery, Adam Pearce officially announced the six-man tag team match for the first night of WrestleMania.

Logan Paul talks potential of Tom Brady being at WrestleMania 42

Logan Paul will be teaming with IShowSpeed and Austin Theory to take on LA Knight and The Usos to open WrestleMania 42 Night 1. Before the event, Paul was asked if he is “prepared” for an appearance from Tom Brady, the NFL legend who has been going back and forth with the WWE Tag Team Champion over the past few months.

“As far as I’m concerned, he’s washed up,” Paul said according to The Mirror US, also noting that Brady already “was beaten by a YouTuber slash wrestler in his own sport,” referring to Brady’s inaugural Flag Football event back in March.

Could Tom Brady be at WrestleMania?

There has been no confirmation on Brady and whether he’ll be at ‘Mania this year, but it would make sense for an appearance considering his ties to Las Vegas. The NFL legend has an ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders, so he’s usually in town.

If Brady is shown on camera then it’s probably unlikely he’ll have anything to do with Paul or his match to open the card. Having said that, WWE does love a celebrity involvement, and with this being the first ‘Mania on ESPN Unlimited, they are probably going to go all out with the celebrity involvement for those viral moments…which Tom Brady getting involved would certainly be.

Austin Theory explains reason for 2025 WWE absence

In July 2025, Austin Theory was abruptly sidelined due to an injury, the nature of which was undisclosed.

Speaking on the The Mark Hoke Show Pro Wrestling Radio / Podcast, Theory revealed that he was dealing with a hernia that had worsened over time. Despite the condition, he continued to compete regularly leading to an incident of being rushed to the Emergency Room before a Main Event match.

“Everything happens for a reason. But, I was actually wrestling with a hernia for a very long time, and as gross as it is, I was having to pop it back in after certain matches and yeah, just stuff people don’t know about. They don’t know when somebody goes to the ring what the damage is but, I was in a good spot, and even when it was hitting a low for me, I was doing everything that I could to just stay and keep the wheels turning on the car, and it reached a point, I had a match on Main Event, and it would not go back in. So that night, I went to the emergency room, and it blew my mind because I was like, ‘wow, I just had my gear on, and I went out there and I wrestled and now I’m in the E.R.’, and now it’s like, well, ‘where does this go from now?’ Because now I’m out of the picture.”

He elaborated that his WWE contract was nearing expiration at the time which became an additional cause of worry.

“My contract was actually coming up so, a lot of things were hitting me personally and that’s kind of one of those things, that’s a low point in your life where you get really rocked, and to me, those points are where you really,  you either stay down or you pick yourself up and you become a version of yourself that’s always been in you but it takes you to that next level, and it helped me reframe my mindset and everything and coming back, I just knew, this is my value and this is what I need to be doing. So, and as you see, it’s clear vision now.”

In December 2025, Theory returned to WWE and revealed his identity as the masked man who targeted Seth Rollins at Survivor Series:WarGames. This forged his union with The Vision.

Last month, he and Logan Paul defeated The Usos to win the World Tag Team Championship. At WrestleMania 42, the champions will team up with IShowSpeed against The Usos and LA Knight. This escalated after IShowSpeed cost The Usos their tag team titles on the March 30 edition of Raw leaving them furious.

Logan Paul describes ‘brilliance’ of former WWE boss Vince McMahon

Logan Paul didn’t shy away from talking about Vince McMahon while appearing on a new episode of WWE’s “What’s Your Story?” podcast.

The podcast episode debuted on Thursday with Stephanie McMahon interviewing Paul about his transition from social media influencer to WWE wrestler. Paul shared that one of the biggest lessons he learned from Vince was that the product and entertaining people should always come first.

“You know what I learned from that, and your dad just in general — it’s all about the show,” Paul said. “It’s all about the product. He built something that he would have died for. Like, actually. Like, it was all about entertaining people. I have so much just respect for that.”

Paul noted that, in their first discussion about Paul joining WWE, he wasn’t sure if Vince fully understood everything he was talking about in regards to social media and going viral. Stephanie recalled that, when WWE was first integrating social media into its product, Vince grasped how important it would be even if he didn’t fully understood the concept itself.

“That’s the brilliance of Vince McMahon,” Paul said. “We’ve seen that over the years. It’s like, you have this ability to adapt, even if you aren’t entirely sure what’s going on. You rely on people who are experts in a craft. And the WWE and Vince trusted me. I was the last person Vince ever signed, which I thought was really cool.”

Vince McMahon resigned from WWE in January 2024 following the lawsuit that was filed against him and the company by former employee Janel Grant. The still-ongoing suit accuses Vince of physical and emotional abuse, sexual assault, and sex trafficking.

On Raw this week, CM Punk referenced Vince but did not mention him by name, calling him a “weird old man” who once made Roman Reigns eat dog food on SmackDown in 2019.

Matt Hardy reacts to WWE Raw Tag Team title change

Matt Hardy, a veteran of the tag team division, reacted to The Vision’s victory over The Usos on Raw.

Hardy commented on Logan Paul and Austin Theory’s WWE Tag Team Title win while teasing a return for WrestleMania 42. He cited the fans would go wild if The Hardy Boyz targeted their titles at the Premium Live Event next month.

“It’s a travesty to watch the @WWEUsos get beaten by @LoganPaul & @_Theory1 for the @WWE Tag Team Titles on #WWERAW. I bet the@WrestleMania 42 crowd would go CRAZY if The Hardy Boyz beat their ass & brought the titles back home to our home, the WWE.” tweeted Matt Hardy.

Matt and Jeff Hardy’s surprise return at WrestleMania 33 is considered one of the best fan-favorite moments in WWE. They were a mystery tag team added at the last minute to the Raw Tag Team Championship ladder match.

The brothers competed on NXT last year amid the brand’s partnership with TNA. They are in their fourth reign as TNA World Tag Team Champions.

In WWE, The Vision were persistent in their pursuit of tag team gold backed by Paul Heyman. LA Knight was ringside at commentary during the Raw title match.

Chaos erupted when Logan Paul’s mother handed him brass knuckles to use in the match but Knight prompted to stop him. IShowSpeed got involved when he fell over the barricade and accidentally knocked out Knight with the brass knuckles. Paul used the weapon against The Usos. And ultimately leading Theory to pin Jimmy Uso.

Team USA dominates Tom Brady & Logan Paul’s teams at Fanatics Flag Football Classic

Team USA dominated and seamlessly won the inaugural Fanatics Flag Football Classic.

Current and former NFL players teamed up and formed two teams in a 3-team group that included Team USA as well. All three teams played against each other in a round-robin format.

Team USA squad faced a couple of teams largely comprised of current and former NFL players, as well as Logan Paul and IShowSpeed. Different from tackle football, Team USA displayed an extensive knowledge and skillset of flag football and dominated the competition.

They won all three of their games and combined to outscore their opponents 106-44 while scoring on 14 of their 15 possessions.

Despite Team USA’s domination, several former and current NFL players performed well, especially Odell Beckham Jr. and the legendary Tom Brady. Brady, 48, displayed why he was regarded as one of the best.

Fanatics Flag Football Classic scores and results

  • Game 1: Team USA 39, Wildcats FFC 14
  • Game 2: Team USA 43, Founders FFC 16
  • Game 3: Wildcats FFC 34, Founders FFC 26
  • Championship game: Team USA 24, Wildcats FFC 14

In the end, at the press conference, Brady also possibly brushed aside his feud with Logan Paul and expressed his true thoughts for him.

“I’ll say this: He [Logan Paul] impressed me out there. And I think that he’s, and obviously some of the coaches that were coaching him said how seriously he was taking it and how he just wanted to learn and be a sponge to go out there and do a great job,” Brady said. “And, you know, to watch what he and his brother have done, I really — there’s a little tit-for-tat stuff — but I do have respect for people that are really driven to succeed.”

Tag Team titles to be defended on WWE Raw

WWE has raised the stakes for one of the matches scheduled for Raw next Monday.

On WWE’s website, it’s listed that Logan Paul & Austin Theory will challenge The Usos for the World Tag Team titles on the March 23 episode of Raw. The matchup had already been announced for the show but was not listed as being for the titles until now.

“Paul Heyman has made it clear to Austin Theory and Logan Paul that they need to take down The Usos,” WWE.com wrote. “Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso will put the World Tag Team Title on the line against Theory and Paul, Monday on Raw at 8 ET/5 PT on Netflix.”

If The Vision were to win the belts, this would be Paul’s first Tag Team title reign in WWE. He previously had a run as United States Champion in 2023-2024. Theory is a former WWE Tag Team Champion with Grayson Waller.

The Usos’ current reign began when they won the belts from AJ Styles & Dragon Lee at the end of December 2025. Their only televised defense so far has been a victory over Akira Tozawa & Otis.

TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts is hosting Monday’s Raw. It’s one of only four Raw episodes remaining before WrestleMania 42. Brock Lesnar is slated to make an appearance, which comes one week after he was laid out by his WrestleMania opponent Oba Femi.

Several WWE wrestlers respond to Tom Brady’s latest jabs

Weeks after Tom Brady’s heated segment with Logan Paul on his ImPaulsive podcast, the NFL legend seems to keep going with more WWE jabs.

After Brady called WWE “cute,” several wrestlers from the promotion stood up and responded to Brady’s comments. However, he has done it again. Speaking with Sports Illustrated at the Fanatics Flag Football Draft night, Brady made similar comments.

You know all their stuff is so cute and scripted. And they know what’s going on. In a football game, you don’t know. So they wouldn’t even get near me. Plus, if I had a good offensive line, they’d punch those guys right in the throat, and they’d be probably crying,” Brady claimed. “There’s no fake BS we do in American football. So, for those guys, it would be a whole different story.”

These comments were, however, not taken lightly by several WWE stars. “A lot of words to say ‘if I had five guys to protect me, I might be ok'” Charlotte Flair said.

WWE’s latest addition, Danhausen, also joined and commented, “It would only take one [WWE] superstar to CURSE Tim Bordy.” “I bet I can sack you,” wrote The Bella Twins.

Paul’s Vision partner Austin Theory also joined and wrote, “[Logan Paul] let me know when you want to drop this goof.”

Former WWE wrestler James Ellsworth also joined and shared his thoughts, though they were controversial. “Says the guy who was a part of more obvious “fixed” games in sports history.”

Fans need to wait and see if this scenario potentially leads to Brady’s appearance at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Logan Paul makes $20,000 donation to two Texas high school students

Former WWE United States Champion Logan Paul recently donated $20,000 to two Texas high school students.

The March 16th edition of Monday Night RAW took place from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. However, before the show began, multiple WWE talents, including Logan Paul, visited Holy Cross of San Antonio High School.

While he successfully plays and portrays a heel character on television, Paul did something remarkable off television. The 30-year-old surprised two high school seniors with a $10,000 donation for each of them. He also proceeded to give a motivational speech about hard work and boosting self-confidence.

Pictures from Paul’s visits are available to view on the Holy Cross of San Antonio High School’s Facebook page, where he is shown to be having a gala time with the students, chatting and playing with them.

Previously, LA Knight had also donated $20,000 to The United Way of Washington County, Maryland, to help support his hometown community.

The Vision vs. The Usos added to next week’s WWE Raw

A tag team match is set for next week’s Raw.

It was announced that next week’s show in Boston will see The Vision’s Logan Paul and Austin Theory taking on The Usos, who they have been feuding with for the last several weeks. Paul Heyman instructed The Vision backstage to focus on The Usos for the time being, with both agreeing they needed to be taken out.

Several weeks ago, Heyman was attacked by Seth Rollins, who struck Heyman with a steel chair and gave him the stomp. As Heyman was being stretchered out, The Vision were jumped by The Usos as LA Knight was seen speeding away in the ambulance with the battered Heyman.

This week’s show opened with Heyman returning to television, disheveled but bringing in someone to confront Seth Rollins: Brock Lesnar. The two met face-to-face after Lesnar took out Rollins’ group of masked men. Plans were interrupted when Oba Femi came out. Rollins exited the ring, causing a brief distraction on Lesnar’s part that allowed him to walk into a pop-up powerbomb by Femi, who then placed his foot on Lesnar and pointed at the WrestleMania sign.
