BVV: A much improved episode of TNA Impact

The TNA Impact reviews on the Big Vinny V Show are back for another week and it’s a good thing, too, because this was the best episode in the AMC era.

The main event saw Moose and Cedric Alexander tear things up in an Atlanta street fight, but the show was stolen by a trios match pitting Order 4 against Trey Miguel, Rich Swann & BDE. We also had two other fun matches with The Hardys vs. Sinner & Saint, and AJ Francis vs. Elijah.

Mind you, there was plenty of stupid stuff too: the Steve Maclin storyline got even dumber, Santino is a horrible GM, and there was a completely incomprehensible Rosemary segment.

We’ll take in the good, the bad, and the ugly on the new Big Vinny V Show!

Big Vinny V Show: TNA Impact review with ABC vs. Speedball Mountain

In desperate need of credible challengers for any of its champions, TNA opted to book a tag team match to find a challenger for a singles title, because TNA.

That’s just one of the things talked about on this week’s Big Vinny V Show where I review TNA Impact every week.

I should say the resulting match between former TNA Tag Team Champions ABC and Speedball Mountain was a heck of a match, albeit a classic example of more sometimes being less.

Elsewhere, “Broken” Matt Hardy continues to pursue Moose and the TNA World title, The Rascalz take on Jake Something & Cody Deaner in a tornado tag team match, and the latest (promising!) developments in the presentation of Jonathan Gresham, aka the Octopus.

Left My Wallet: Vince Verhei on the NFL offseason

Left My Wallet is back with our resident pro football expert and Bryan & Vinny co-host Vince Verhei to talk about the flurry of NFL offseason moves.

“Big Vinny V” is also a writer for Football Outsiders so he is well qualified to talk about the situation with Russell Wilson in Seattle, who he thinks are the big winners in free agency, who has missed the boat on improving their team, if Cam Newton can still throw for the Patriots, and who are some low-key good signings that will help some teams the most.

But first, we’re joined by F4W stalwart and convention regular Rodney Rogers to talk about his New Orleans Saints. He talks about meeting Drew Brees at the airport and what he expects from his favorite team in their first year after the Hall-of-Fame quarterback’s retirement.

Left My Wallet is back for a second show this week as I’m joined by Vinny Verhei and Producer Rob as we preview their big week 1 WO/FFO fantasy football league clash for Rob’s fantasy football title belt!

As heard on Wednesday’s Bryan, Vinny, and Craig show, Rob put his illustrious title on the line at the urging and taunting of Bryan Alvarez. There ws some heated trash talk, so I now have both competitors on the show to talk about their teams, to preview this week’s matchup and, of course, trash talk. Vinny also discusses his thoughts on Antonio Brown, Julio Jones’ contract status, and why Lamar Jackson is going to go off vs. the porous Miami defense.
