UFC 320 live results: Ankalaev vs. Pereira 2; Dvalishvili vs. Sandhagen

The Octagon is back on pay-per-view and back home in Las Vegas as UFC 320, with two titles on the line, takes place inside the T-Mobile Arena.

The main event sees a rematch for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship as current champion Magomed Ankalaev defends against former champion Alex Pereira. Ankalaev defeated Pereira for the title at UFC 313 in March, winning a unanimous decision. He makes his first title defense looking to extend his 14-fight unbeaten streak, while Pereira looks for his second reign at 205 pounds, and third title reign overall.

The co-main event sees UFC Bantamweight Champion Merab Dvalishvili make his third title defense in 2025 as he takes on challenger Cory Sandhagen. Dvalishvili has won 13 straight fights and is coming off wins over Sean O’Malley and Umar Nurmagomedov this year. Sandhagen gets his long-awaited title shot off the heels of a win over Deiveson Figueiredo in May.

Also on the main card is a light heavyweight battle between former champion Jiri Prochazka and Khalil Rountree Jr.; a featherweight fight pitting Josh Emmett against Youssef Zalal; and a middleweight opener with Abus Magomedov taking on Joe Pyfer.

Vanderford lands an inside leg kick. Vanderford lands a stiff jab and Brahimaj lands a counter right hand. Brahimaj lands a leg kick. He lands another hard leg kick. Vanderford with another jab. Vanderford lands a high kick and Brahimaj blocks it but still got a little stunned from it. Brahimaj rushes in with a flurry but Vanderford ducks under and scores a takedown. Vanderford controlling from the top as Brahimaj is pinned against the fence. Vanderford lands from the top. He ends the round on top after landing a few punches. 10-9 Vanderford.

Brahimaj lands a left hand. Brahimaj lands a massive head kick and Vanderford drops down looking for a takedown. Brahimaj has the neck but Vanderford escapes. Brahimaj still attacking the neck. Vanderford escapes and they get up. Vanderford is able to score a takedown. Brahimaj landing elbows against the fence. They’re still scrambling and Brahimaj locks in a guillotine choke and Vanderford taps! Brahimaj picks up the submission win.

Soriano slams Veretennikov down and Veretennikov continues to hold onto the neck. Soriano escapes and lands a big flurry of left hands from the top. Soriano lands a series of elbows from the top. Soriano continues to land from the top. 10-9 Soriano.

Soriano gets a takedown. He’s landing from side control. Soriano landing left hands as he has Veretennikov pinned on the bottom. Veretennikov is able to scramble up and gets the back of Soriano. Soriano immediately shoots for a single leg. Soriano is able to lift Veretennikov up and slam him to the mat. Veretennikov has the neck but Soriano is able to get his head loose and is landing left hands from the top. Soriano moves to side control as he continues to keep Veretennikov down on his back. Muniz looks for another one and they clinch against the fence. Shahbazyan is able to force separation. They trade punches and Muniz lands a body kick. Shahbazyan lands to the body. Shahbazyan lands a right hand. They clinch against the fence. They break and Shahbazyan lands a high kick. Shahbazyan lands a body kick. Muniz lands a leg kick. Shahbazyan with a right hand. Mix is working from the top inside the guard of Wiklacz. They scramble up and Wiklacz jumps on the guillotine and has the neck as they go to the mat. Mix rolls to escape but Wiklacz is now on top. Wiklacz gets the mount. Wiklacz lands a big elbow from the top. 10-9 Wiklacz.

Gautier lands an uppercut. Vines is just running away from Gautier and not engaging. Vines rushes in for a takedown and eats a knee from Gautier and nearly goes all the way down. Vines looks for a takedown but eats another knee. Gautier defends and lands and drops Vines and two big follow-up shots end it. This was just an absolute squash.

They tie up against the fence and Pyfer scores a takedown, but Magomedov reverses it and nearly gets the mount but ends up in the half-guard. They scramble up and Magomedov keeps back control and then rag dolls Pyfer back down. Magomedov is looking for an armbar but he lets go and gets back to side control and lands a knee to the body. They get to their feet. Magomedov lands a front kick and a left hand. Magomedov with a jab. Pyfer lands a right hand. 10-9 Magomedov.

Pyfer lands a right hand and then lands again and Magomedov goes down to the mat. Pyfer gets on top and lands a couple of big elbows. Pyfer is looking for an arm-triangle choke and has it locked in. Magomedov escapes but Pyfer is still in the mount and then takes the back. Pyfer landing from the back and locks in a rear-naked choke and Magomedov taps! Big win for Pyfer.

Pereira with some big elbows and he’s continuing to land as Ankalaev is hurt and it is all over!

UFC on ESPN 67 live results: Cory Sandhagen vs. Deiveson Figueiredo

For the first time in UFC history, the Octagon heads to Des Moines, Iowa for a fight card as UFC On ESPN 67 takes place inside the Wells Fargo Arena.

The main event is a battle of top-five bantamweight contenders as fourth-ranked Cory Sandhagen battles fifth-ranked former UFC Flyweight Champion Deiveson Figueiredo. Both men are looking to rebound from losses in their prior bouts, as Sandhagen dropped a decision to Umar Nurmagomedov in August, while Figueiredo lost to Petr Yan in November.

In the co-main event, rising middleweight contender Reinier de Ridder looks to improve to 3-0 during his UFC tenure as he battles undefeated prospect Bo Nickal.

Also on the main card is a welterweight bout between Santiago Ponzinibbio and Daniel Rodriguez; a bantamweight bout pitting Montel Jackson against Daniel Marcos; and a lightweight bout between returning long-time UFC veteran Jeremy Stephens, in his home town, taking on another returning fighter, Mason Jones.

The Octagon heads back to Abu Dhabi for the first of two events there over the next few months as UFC action is back on network television for UFC on ABC 7 at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island.

The main event is a pivotal bout in the bantamweight division to determine who is next in line for a title shot as Cory Sandhagen takes on undefeated Umar Nurmagomedov. Sandhagen comes into the fight having won three straight, while Nurmagomedov has kicked off his career by winning the first 17 fights of his career.

The rest of the main card is loaded with talent as undefeated standout Shara Nurmagomedov takes on Michal Oleksiejczuk in the co-main event. Also on the card is a bantamweight bout pitting recent title challenger Marlon Vera against former UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo; a welterweight bout between Tony Ferguson and Michael Chiesa; and a clash of top ten fighters in the women’s strawweight division as Mackenzie Dern goes against Loopy Godinez.

The Octagon is back in The Music City this weekend for the first time since March 2019 as UFC On ESPN 50: Sandhagen vs. Font takes place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

The card is headlined by a pair of bantamweights fighting at a 140-pound catchweight due to late changes as Cory Sandhagen takes on Rob Font in the five-round headliner. Sandhagen was originally slated to fight Umar Nurmagomedov, but an injury forced him out, and Font moved up a couple of weeks for the headline spot in a pivotal bout.

In the co-main event, former UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Jessica Andrade takes on undefeated former TUF winner Tatiana Suarez. Also on the main card is a pair of light heavyweight bouts as Dustin Jacoby battles Kennedy Nzechukwu and Tanner Boser battles Aleksa Camur, plus a featherweight bout pitting Diego Lopes against Gavin Tucker.

The Octagon is back in San Antonio for the first time since July 2019, closing out the month of March with a card headlined by an exciting bantamweight match-up that fans have been looking forward to.

Third-ranked Marlon Vera looks to score his fifth straight win when he takes on fifth-ranked Cory Sandhagen, looking for his second straight win, in the five-round headline bout. Both men are looking to secure that next shot in the bantamweight division. Vera has yet to fight for a title, but is coming off a win over Dominick Cruz in his last outing. Sandhagen has fought for an interim title once before, but wants a shot at the undisputed title as he looks to build on a win over Song Yadong in September.

In the co-main event, former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion looks to get back on track towards another title shot when she battles Yana Santos. Also on the main card is an exciting featherweight bout between Nate Landwehr and Austin Lingo, a women’s flyweight fight pitting Andrea Lee against Maycee Barber, and a heated flyweight fight between contenders Alex Perez and Manel Kape.

Giles with a hard jab. Giles lands a right hand. They clinch against the fence and Parsons lands some elbows before they break. Giles lands the jab. They trade inside the pocket. After a wild week, the Octagon is back at the UFC Apex after a much quieter week with a bantamweight headliner that could have title shot implications riding on it.

Cory Sandhagen fights for the first time in 2022 as he looks to get back into the win column when he battles Song Yadong in the five-round main event. Sandhagen last fought in October at UFC 267, coming up short in his shot at winning the Interim UFC Bantamweight Champion as he dropped a decision to Petr Yan. He remains one of the top-ranked bantamweights in the world and would be right back in the mix with a win. Song looks to extend his three-fight win streak, and he has just one loss in his ten UFC appearances.

Also on the main card is a middleweight bout pitting Chidi Njokuani against Gregory Rodrigues, a featherweight bout between Andre Fili and Bill Algeo, and a heavyweight bout that sees Tanner Boser take on Rodrigo Nascimento.

Motta lands a left hook that sends VanCamp to his knees and Motta starts to land follow-up punches and gets the finish. Nice finish for Motta.

Gravely pushes it against the fence and gets a brief takedown and has the back as they stand. The cut was from a clash of heads. Gravely trying to get it down. Gravely gets a takedown as Basharat was trying to grab the fence but they stand. Basharat lands an elbow as they break. There was a brief timeout to check the cut on Basharat but they continue. They trade punches and Basharat lands a nice right hand. Basharat landing better here. Basharat lands the jab and they trade right hands. Gravely lands a combo. They trade and go to the mat and Agapova locks in a guillotine choke but Robertson escapes to her feet. Robertson grabs the leg and looks for the takedown against the fence and Agapova lands some punches and elbows to defend. Agapova landing big elbows to the side of the head of Robertson. Robertson tries the takedown but Agapova ends up on top and lands hammerfists. Robertson gets the back. Agapova trying to reverse and is landing punches. They get to their feet and break. Agapova with a body kick. Agapova lands a left hand. Robertson shoots for the takedown and Agapova lands punches to defend. Robertson still has the leg and Agapova landing punches. Agapova landing punches and elbows and Robertson gets it to the ground. Robertson looking for a choke. She almost has it locked in but time runs out. 10-9 Agapova.

Agapova lands a spinning back fist. Robertson gets a takedown and is in side control and looks to get the mount before switching to looking for the back. Robertson landing left hands from the back. Robertson looks for the rear-naked choke and has it in. Agapova is fighting it and has no mouthpiece in and Agapova goes to sleep! What a finish by Robertson.

Gomes tries a takedown but messes up and Lookboonmee ends up in the mount and lands some nice elbows. Lookboonmee has the back and is looking for the arm and Gomes slips out to the top. Gomes looks for an arm-triangle choke. She has it in but loses it and now looks for the armbar. Lookboonmee gets on top and lands some elbows and Gomes has a big cut opened up. Close round. 10-9 Lookboonmee.

They trade kicks to start the second and Lookboonmee gets the takedown. Lookboonmee is landing from the top and looks to take the back but they end up getting to their feet. They clinch against the fence and both land knees. Lookboonmee gets a headlock takedown. Jackson lands a front kick and some early shots that hurt Sabatini and he jumps on top and is landing big shots and then gets the back of Sabatini. Jackson with big punches from the the back and he gets the finish. Big win for Jackson, who lost his brother earlier in the week.

Barriault lands a couple of overhand rights. Hernandez gets a takedown and Barriault tries to climb on the back as they stand but Hernandez is able to get it back down and is on top. Hernandez with some right hands from the top. Hernandez stands and tries to keep Barriault down. They get up and break and Barriault lands some right hands. Hernandez with a combo. Hernandez gets a takedown. Hernandez works from the top and gets another takedown and lands big shots from the top at the end of the round. 10-9 Hernandez.

Barriault comes rushing forward and lands a right hand. Hernandez lands some punches and elbows and gets the takedown into side control. He moves to the half-guard. He continues to land and is working Barriault over from the top. They get to their feet and separate. Hernandez with a right hand and gets another takedown. Hernandez lands from the top and gets the back but uses it to transition to the full mount. Hernandez stands and Barriault is able to get up. Hernandez with a body shot as they break and Hernandez lands a combo. Barriault lands a nice right hand. Hernandez lands a couple of right hands. 10-9 Hernandez, 20-18 Hernandez.

The fight is stopped before the fifth begins after the doctor says the cut over Song Yadong’s eye is too bad for him to continue. Song also said he couldn’t see. Sandhagen gets the win and this was a really good fight.

It’s a special non-pay-per-view numbered event for ESPN+ subscribers, with a stacked card as the Octagon heads back to Fight Island in Abu Dhabi, bringing along two title fights and a card full of great match-ups.

In the main event, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jan Blachowicz defends the title for a second time against challenger Glover Teixeira. Blachowicz’ last trip to Fight Island brought along the biggest moment of his career, as he finished Dominick Reyes to win the championship. He made a successful defense against Israel Adesanya in March. Teixeira gets a second chance to win the title as his career resurgence has seen him win five straight bouts coming into this one.

In the co-main event, an Interim UFC Bantamweight Championship is up for grabs as former UFC Bantamweight Champion Petr Yan takes on Cory Sandhagen. Yan was supposed to have a rematch with current champion Aljamain Sterling, but Sterling wasn’t cleared to compete due to neck issues. In steps Sandhagen on short notice, and the two will fight for the interim title and the next shot at Sterling.

The rest of the main card is full of intriguing fights as Islam Makhachev battles Dan Hooker in a lightweight bout, heavyweights Alexander Volkov and Marcin Tybura square off, Li Jingliang welcomes much-hyped Khamzat Chimaev back to action in a middleweight bout, and light heavyweight sluggers Magomed Ankalaev and Volkan Oezdemir kick off the main card.

This fight goes on though it shouldn’t. Both look exhausted. They trade and both land good shots. We have an eye poke and a timeout. Saint-Denis was saying he can’t see and the referee didn’t even bring the doctor in and pretty much made Saint-Denis continue as they get back to action. Zaleski rocks Saint-Denis and they go to the ground and Zaleski is in the guard. They get up and Zaleski lands a combo. Saint-Denis trying for a takedown but Zaleski defends as he continues to land. We have a groin strike and a timeout. He took a point from Zaleski even though he never gave him a warning. That is bad. They get back to action and Zaleski lands a right hand and a body kick. Zaleski with a flying knee. 9-9 Zaleski, 29-26 Zaleski.

This was without a doubt the worst referee job in UFC history. And I’ve seen every UFC fight in history, and I mean every single one, and many of them live since 2001.

Duraev with more big punches and Kopylov is getting eaten alive from the top. Kopylov puts his hands on his knees and then lands a left hand. Kopylov with a combo and spits out his mouth piece. Kopylov with the double jab. He lands a combo. They trade in close. Kopylov lands a left hand as Duraev went for a takedown and then Kopylov gets a takedown and has the back as they stand. 10-9 Kopylov, 29-27 Duraev.

Fans are allowed into the UFC APEX for the first time for this event, and the UFC is treating them to an interesting bantamweight bout that has been very anticipated, which features a former champion returning in a fight that could have title shot implications on the line.

Second-ranked bantamweight Cory Sandhagen looks to earn a title shot as he welcomes back former two-time UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw to the Octagon. Sandhagen is coming off back-to-back knockout wins over Frankie Edgar and Marlon Moraes, and has won nine of his last ten. Dillashaw returns from a two-year USADA suspension, last seen in action on the losing end of a 32-second knockout loss to Henry Cejudo in January 2019 in his quest to become a two-division champion.

Also on the main card, Kyler Phillips squares off with Raulian Paiva in a bantamweight bout, featherweights Darren Elkins and Darrick Minner meet, women’s flyweight prospects Miranda Maverick and Maycee Barber do battle, and exciting bantamweight prospects Adrian Yanez and Randy Costa open the main card.
