UFC 320 live results: Ankalaev vs. Pereira 2; Dvalishvili vs. Sandhagen

The Octagon is back on pay-per-view and back home in Las Vegas as UFC 320, with two titles on the line, takes place inside the T-Mobile Arena.

The main event sees a rematch for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship as current champion Magomed Ankalaev defends against former champion Alex Pereira. Ankalaev defeated Pereira for the title at UFC 313 in March, winning a unanimous decision. He makes his first title defense looking to extend his 14-fight unbeaten streak, while Pereira looks for his second reign at 205 pounds, and third title reign overall.

The co-main event sees UFC Bantamweight Champion Merab Dvalishvili make his third title defense in 2025 as he takes on challenger Cory Sandhagen. Dvalishvili has won 13 straight fights and is coming off wins over Sean O’Malley and Umar Nurmagomedov this year. Sandhagen gets his long-awaited title shot off the heels of a win over Deiveson Figueiredo in May.

Also on the main card is a light heavyweight battle between former champion Jiri Prochazka and Khalil Rountree Jr.; a featherweight fight pitting Josh Emmett against Youssef Zalal; and a middleweight opener with Abus Magomedov taking on Joe Pyfer.

Vanderford lands an inside leg kick. Vanderford lands a stiff jab and Brahimaj lands a counter right hand. Brahimaj lands a leg kick. He lands another hard leg kick. Vanderford with another jab. Vanderford lands a high kick and Brahimaj blocks it but still got a little stunned from it. Brahimaj rushes in with a flurry but Vanderford ducks under and scores a takedown. Vanderford controlling from the top as Brahimaj is pinned against the fence. Vanderford lands from the top. He ends the round on top after landing a few punches. 10-9 Vanderford.

Brahimaj lands a left hand. Brahimaj lands a massive head kick and Vanderford drops down looking for a takedown. Brahimaj has the neck but Vanderford escapes. Brahimaj still attacking the neck. Vanderford escapes and they get up. Vanderford is able to score a takedown. Brahimaj landing elbows against the fence. They’re still scrambling and Brahimaj locks in a guillotine choke and Vanderford taps! Brahimaj picks up the submission win.

They’re trading kicks early on. Basharat lands a spin kick to the body followed by a leg kick. They trade kicks. Basharat scores a takedown. Basharat lands an elbow from the top. Basharat with another stiff elbow from the top as he’s also landing short punches. They trade elbows on the mat. 10-9 Basharat.

Soriano slams Veretennikov down and Veretennikov continues to hold onto the neck. Soriano escapes and lands a big flurry of left hands from the top. Soriano lands a series of elbows from the top. Soriano continues to land from the top. 10-9 Soriano.

Soriano gets a takedown. He’s landing from side control. Soriano landing left hands as he has Veretennikov pinned on the bottom. Veretennikov is able to scramble up and gets the back of Soriano. Veretennikov looked for a choke but Soriano defends it. They scramble and Soriano ends up back on top. Soriano landing left hands from the top. 10-9 Soriano, 20-18 Soriano.

Soriano immediately shoots for a single leg. Soriano is able to lift Veretennikov up and slam him to the mat. Veretennikov has the neck but Soriano is able to get his head loose and is landing left hands from the top. Soriano moves to side control as he continues to keep Veretennikov down on his back. They are ordered up and Soriano gets it back down as Veretennikov has a choke almost locked in. Soriano is defending and gets out and lands some big elbows from the top. 10-9 Soriano, 30-27 Soriano.

Muniz looks for another one and they clinch against the fence. Shahbazyan is able to force separation. They trade punches and Muniz lands a body kick. Shahbazyan lands to the body. Shahbazyan lands a right hand. They clinch against the fence. They break and Shahbazyan lands a high kick. Shahbazyan lands a body kick. Muniz lands a leg kick. Shahbazyan with a right hand. Wiklacz lands a right hand and a body kick. Wiklacz with some body shots and lands a pair of body kicks. Wiklacz mixing kicks high and low. Mix picks Wiklacz up and puts him down on the mat. Mix is working from the top inside the guard of Wiklacz. They scramble up and Wiklacz jumps on the guillotine and has the neck as they go to the mat. Mix rolls to escape but Wiklacz is now on top. Wiklacz gets the mount. Wiklacz lands a big elbow from the top. 10-9 Wiklacz.

Gautier lands an uppercut. Vines is just running away from Gautier and not engaging. Vines rushes in for a takedown and eats a knee from Gautier and nearly goes all the way down. Vines looks for a takedown but eats another knee. Gautier defends and lands and drops Vines and two big follow-up shots end it. This was just an absolute squash.

They tie up against the fence and Pyfer scores a takedown, but Magomedov reverses it and nearly gets the mount but ends up in the half-guard. They scramble up and Magomedov keeps back control and then rag dolls Pyfer back down. Magomedov is looking for an armbar but he lets go and gets back to side control and lands a knee to the body. They get to their feet. Magomedov lands a front kick and a left hand. Magomedov with a jab. Pyfer lands a right hand. 10-9 Magomedov.

Pyfer lands a right hand and then lands again and Magomedov goes down to the mat. Pyfer gets on top and lands a couple of big elbows. Pyfer is looking for an arm-triangle choke and has it locked in. Magomedov escapes but Pyfer is still in the mount and then takes the back. Pyfer landing from the back and locks in a rear-naked choke and Magomedov taps! Big win for Pyfer.

One of the UFC’s biggest superstars is back in action as the Octagon returns to the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for UFC 313.

The main event sees UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira, one of the most exciting and popular fighters in the sport, making his fourth title defense against top contender Magomed Ankalaev. Pereira’s fourth title defense in less than a year sees him looking to extend a five-fight win streak while Ankalaev is unbeaten in his last 13 fights, dating back nearly seven years.

In the co-main event, it’s a rematch of one of the best fights of 2023 as Justin Gaethje battles Rafael Fiziev. Gaethje scored a decision win over Fiziev at UFC 286 in March 2023 while Fiziev steps into this bout on short notice as he replaces Dan Hooker, Gaethje’s originally scheduled opponent.

Also on the main card is a lightweight bout between Jalin Turner and Ignacio Bahamondes; a women’s strawweight bout between ranked fighters Amanda Lemos and Iasmin Lucindo; and a lightweight bout pitting long-time veteran King Green against rising prospect Mauricio Ruffy.

The UFC kicks off their 2024 schedule back at their home base with UFC on ESPN+ 92: Ankalaev vs. Walker 2 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The main event is a heated rematch at 205 pounds as Magomed Ankalaev and Johnny Walker run it back over five rounds. The two squared off at UFC 294 in October but fought to a no contest after Ankalaev landed an illegal knee and Walker was deemed unable to continue. That wasn’t the end of it as both men tried to go after each other afterward and security, as well as Dana White, had to keep them separated.

In the co-main event, Jim Miller, the all-time leader in UFC fights and UFC wins, takes on Gabriel Benitez in a lightweight fight. Also on the main card is a bantamweight bout between Ricky Simon and Mario Bautista, a middleweight fight pitting Phil Hawes against Brunno Ferreira, and a heavyweight bout between former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski and Waldo Cortes-Acosta.

Welcome to F4WOnline.com’s live coverage of UFC 282: Blachowicz vs. Ankalaev, emanating from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It is the final UFC pay-per-view event of 2022, and the Octagon is back inside the T-Mobile Arena where, following a major shuffling of the main event, a brand new champion will be crowned in one of the premier divisions in the sport.

The vacant UFC Light Heavyweight Championship is on the line in the main event as former champion Jan Blachowicz looks to become a two-time champion against Magomed Ankalaev. The title became vacant after Jiri Prochazka opted to vacate it following suffering a major shoulder surgery a couple of weeks ago, which forced him out of the original main event of this card, a defense against Glover Teixeira. Teixeira was offered to stay in the title fight against Ankalaev, but turned it down due to the short notice. Blachowicz and Ankalaev were already scheduled to fight in the co-main event, so they get the bump up.

In the new co-main event, Paddy Pimblett looks to become the big breakout star they hope as he fights on pay-per-view for the first time when he takes on Jared Gordon. Also on the main card is a catchweight bout between Santiago Ponzinibbio and Alex Morono, a middleweight bout pitting Darren Till against Dricus Du Plessis, and a battle of undefeated rising featherweight contenders as Bryce Mitchell battles Ilia Topuria.

The prelims are stacked for this show, capped off by a battle of top-eleven heavyweights as Jairzinho Rozenstruik takes on Chris Daukaus, plus the debut of Raul Rosas Jr., the youngest fighter on the UFC roster who earned a contract as a 17-year-old on this past season of Dana White’s Contender Series.

Koslow goes right for the takedown and pushes Saaiman against the fence. They go to the mat and Koslow locks in a guillotine choke but Saaiman is able to escape. Koslow continues to attack the neck but they stand. Saaiman lands a couple of knees as Koslow is working for the takedown and Koslow gets it down. Saaiman is able to get the back and is trying to get the hooks in. They get to their feet and clinch and Saaiman lands an illegal knee to Koslow’s head as both of his knees were on the mat. Saaiman gets a point taken away. They get back to action and trade punches. Koslow grabs the single leg but Saaiman defends. Saaiman has the neck and lands a knee. The Octagon is back at the UFC APEX this weekend with a light heavyweight main event that will have an effect on the title picture at 205 pounds.

Former title challenger Thiago Santos looks to score his second straight win as he takes on Magomed Ankalaev, winner of seven straight fights. Santos is coming into this off a win over Johnny Walker in October, while Ankalaev was also last in action in October, scoring a decision over Volkan Oezdemir. The winner will be in the mix for a possible title shot for their next fight.

Among the rest of the main card fights include a bantamweight bout between former title challenger Marlon Moraes and Song Yadong in the co-main event, a featherweight bout pitting Sodiq Yusuff against Alex Caceres, a lightweight bout between Drew Dober and short-notice replacement Terrance McKinney, and a middleweight slugfest as Alex Pereira takes on Bruno Silva.

There’s not much happening in the first minute until Murzakanov lands a left hand. He lands another. Murzakanov lands a left to the body as he eats a knee. Murzakanov lands a left hand. Nchukwi with a leg kick. Murzakanov lands a left hand. Murzakanov lands a right hook. Nchukwi lands a combo and Murzakanov goes for a takedown but Nchukwi defends as they break. Nchukwi starting to pressure more and he lands a knee to the body and one to the legs as they clinch. Murzakanov with a combo after they break. They trade to start the second as Nchukwi was coming forward. Nchukwi with a leg kick and Murzakanov with an overhand left. Murzakanov got a brief takedown but Nchukwi was able to scramble up quickly. Nchukwi starting to land more as Murzakanov is slowing down and he lands some knees to the body. Cannetti throwing punches early on. Cannetti with a kick and Moutinho catches it and lands a left hand. Cannetti with a leg kick. Cannetti with some leg kicks. Moutinho comes forward and lands a combo against the fence. Cannetti with a body kick and spinning back fist. Cannetti lands a big left hand then some knees to the body then starts teeing off and Moutinho is in trouble and Cannetti lands some more and Chris Tognoni stops it standing. Moutinho was looking out on his feet so the stoppage was good. Big win for Cannetti at 42 years of age.

Brundage lands a leg kick and some punches to start. Brundage tries a takedown but Lungiambula defends. Lungiambula lands some right hands as Brundage is still trying for the takedown. They get to their feet as Lungiambula is still landing punches. Lungiambula drags it down and continues to land. Lungiambula with more right hands as they stand. Lungiambula with some left hands and lands some knees and now uppercuts. Brundage is trying to survive. Lungiambula with big right hands. Brundage lands a spinning back fist. Lungiambula is landing knees and some uppercuts and more knees and punches. Brundage goes for a guillotine and Lungiambula taps! Wow, what a comeback from Brundage after nearly getting stopped.

Maverick with some early leg kicks. Mazo lands a jab. Maverick scores a takedown. Maverick working from the top and Mazo goes for an armbar but Maverick gets out of it. They get to their feet and Maverick lands some knees as they clinch. Maverick gets a takedown and is in side control. Maverick with some left hands and Mazo works her way back up and they clinch. Maverick gets it back down and is in the half-guard. Maverick with some punches from the top. Maverick ends the round on top. 10-9 Maverick.

Maverick with a high kick to start the second and then lands a combination. Mazo with the quick double jab. Maverick with a left hand and leg kick. They trade on the feet as Mazo is pressuring and Maverick is circling. Maverick with a combination and then scores a takedown. Maverick gets the back and locks in a rear-naked choke and Mazo taps. What a performance from Maverick as she gets the dominant win.

McKinney gets a takedown after an exchange. They get back to their feet and Dober is landing in close range and lands a knee and McKinney goes down and Dober gets on top and lands some punches and it is stopped! What a comeback from Dober as he finishes McKinney.
