UFC 322 live results: Two title superfights from MSG

The UFC’s yearly trip to the World’s Most Famous Arena is upon us as Madison Square Garden in New York City hosts UFC 322.

The main event is a superfight for the UFC welterweight championship as current champion Jack Della Maddalena defends for the first time against former UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.

Della Maddalena is coming off a win over Belal Muhammad at UFC 315 in which he became the man to beat at 170 pounds while also extending his win streak to 17 straight. Makhachev vacates the lightweight title in order to move up and is looking to improve on a 15-fight win streak after submitting Renato Moicano at UFC 311.

The co-main event is another superfight as UFC women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko defends against former UFC women’s strawweight champion Zhang Weili. Shevchenko is coming off a title defense over Manon Fiorot at UFC 315 while Weili vacates the 115-pound title following five straight wins.

The rest of the main card is stacked with ranked fighters as Sean Brady takes on Michael Morales in a welterweight bout; former UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards battles Carlos Prates; and a lightweight fight between Beneil Dariush and Benoit Saint-Denis kicks off the main card.

The first UFC pay-per-view event of the year is here as the Octagon debuts inside the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California for UFC 311.

The main event has undergone come late changes in a wild past 48 hours. UFC Lightweight Champion Islam Makhachev defends the title against an unexpected challenger, as Renato Moicano steps in on short notice.

Moicano replaces Arman Tsarukyan, who was forced to pull out with a back injury early Friday morning. Moicano was scheduled to fight Beneil Dariush in a main card bout, but steps in for a title shot on the heels of four straight wins. Makhachev makes his fourth title defense on the heels of a 14-fight win streak.

The co-main event is a second title bout as UFC Bantamweight Champion Merab Dvalishvili makes his first title defense against undefeated challenger Umar Nurmagomedov. Dvalishili defeated Sean O’Malley for the title in September, running his win streak to eleven straight. Nurmagomedov gets his first shot at championship gold after 18 straight wins to start his career.

The rest of the main card sees a pivotal light heavyweight battle between former champions Jiri Prochazka and Jamahal Hill; a heavyweight tilt pitting Jailton Almeida against Serghei Spivac; and a middleweight bout between Kevin Holland and Reinier de Ridder.

The UFC kicks off a busy five-event month of June with tonight’s UFC 302 from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

In the main event, UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev, also the number one pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC, defends against former interim UFC lightweight champion Dustin Poirier in a highly anticipated bout. Makhachev enters his third title defense on a 13-fight win streak, while Poirier looks to stamp a Hall of Fame career by becoming an undisputed UFC champion.

The co-main event will also be a five-round bout as former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland battles former title challenger Paulo Costa. Strickland returns for the first time since losing the his title to Dricus Du Plessis in January while Costa is also looking to get back into the win column.

The main card will featured a middleweight bout pitting Kevin Holland against Michal Oleksiejczuk, and a pair of welterweight fights as Niko Price takes on Alex Morono while Randy Brown fights Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos.

The Octagon returns to pay-per-view this weekend with their annual visit to Abu Dhabi for UFC 294: Makhachev vs. Volkanovski 2 from the Etihad Arena in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

The card underwent a recent shake-up to the two big fights, but arguably is now stronger than before. In the main event, UFC Lightweight Champion Islam Makhachev defends against UFC Featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski in a rematch. The two fought in February in the current front-runner for 2023 Fight Of The Year, which was won by Makhachev. Volkanovski is taking this rematch on twelve days’ notice, replacing Charles Oliveira.

In another fight coming together on short notice, former UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman steps in on eleven days’ notice to take on undefeated Khamzat Chimaev at 185 pounds. Usman is coming off a pair of welterweight title fight losses to Leon Edwards, while Chimaev steps inside the Octagon for the first time in 13 months.

Also on the main card is a light heavyweight bout between Magomed Ankalaev and Johnny Walker, a middleweight bout pitting Ikram Aliskerov against Warlley Alves, and a bantamweight bout between Said Nurmagomedov and Muin Gafurov.

Ankalaev lands a body shot and Walker faked being hurt to try a flying knee that missed. Ankalaev gets it down for a moment and is trying to get the back. Ankalaev lands a clear illegal knee and we have a timeout. The doctor then stops the fight claiming Walker couldn’t continue and all hell broke loose as Walker pushed the referee, Ankalaev and Walker still kept trying to go after each other, security and even Dana White came in to calm things down.

UFC 284 notes: Makhachev retains 155-pound title, Rodriguez wins interim gold

The top two pound-for-pound fighters in the UFC went to battle at Saturday’s UFC 284 with lightweight champion Islam Makhachev earning a unanimous decision win over featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski.

Makhachev earned scores of 48-47 (twice) and 49-46 in the first defense of the vacant title he won by defeating Charles Oliveira last October.

The pay-per-view took place in Perth, Australia — Volkanovski’s home country.

Makhachev’s next title defense likely will come against either the winner of Oliveira vs. Beneil Dariush at UFC 288 or Justin Gaethje if he can defeat Rafael Fiziev at UFC 286. The popular Dustin Poirier remains an option as well, but he has no fight lined up as of now.

The loss is Volkanovski’s first in the UFC — a 13-fight stretch dating back to his promotional debut in November 2016. It was his first lightweight fight since that debut.

It’s expected he will return to featherweight and look for the fifth defense of the title he won in December 2019. 

Assuming he does, he will face new interim champion Yair Rodriguez who defeated Josh Emmett in the co-main event to win the title. The 30-year-old submitted Emmett in the second round for his first reign of any kind in the UFC.

The Octagon is back in Australia for the first time since October 2019 with a big card featuring two title fights, including a native Australian looking to become a double champion and establish himself as the pound-for-pound best fighter in the world.

UFC Lightweight Champion Islam Makhachev makes his first title defense against UFC Featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski in the main event, which is a battle between the top two pound-for-pound fighters in the UFC. Makhachev, who is #2 in the P4P rankings, won the lightweight title when he submitted Charles Oliveira in October at UFC 280. Volkanovski moves up looking to secure his second championship and keep his top spot in the P4P rankings in front of a raucous crowd that will be behind him.

In the co-main event, we have an interim title up for grabs as Yair Rodriguez and Josh Emmett will compete for the Interim UFC Featherweight Championship. Both are on impressive runs in the division. Rodriguez is coming off a win over Brian Ortega in July, while Emmett is riding a five-fight win streak.

Also on the main card is a welterweight bout between rising prospects Jack Della Maddalena and Randy Brown, a heavyweight bout pitting Justin Tafa against Parker Porter, and an exciting light heavyweight bout between Jimmy Crute and Alonzo Menifield.

Champion vs. champion fight set for February’s UFC 284

For the first time since March 2021, the UFC will hold a champion vs. champion fight at February 11th’s UFC 284.

Announced on Saturday after weeks of rumors, new UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev will defend against UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski.

UFC 284 will take place in Perth, Australia.

The 31-year-old Makhachev defeated former champion Charles Oliveira at October’s UFC 280 to win the vacant title while Volkanovski is riding a 22-fight win streak (12-0 UFC). 

Makhachev has won 11 straight and is 12-1 in the UFC while Volkanovski has been the featherweight champion since December 2019 and has four title defenses to his credit.

The UFC’s last such fight was in March 2021 when then-light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz defended against middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, picking up a decision win.

The UFC has held several champion vs. champion fights through the years with notable ones including Georges St. Pierre vs. BJ Penn (UFC 94); Conor McGregor vs. Eddie Alvarez (UFC 205); and Daniel Cormier vs. Stipe Miocic I (UFC 226).

The Octagon is back in Abu Dhabi for the first time in a year with another big pay-per-view event, with two title fights and one of the best overall cards of the year.

The UFC Lightweight Championship is up for grabs in the main event, with former champion Charles Oliveira battling Islam Makhachev for the vacant title. Oliveira was the title holder until the day before UFC 274 in May, where he missed weight and was stripped of the title. He went on to defeat Justin Gaethje the next night, his 11th straight win. Makhachev extended his win streak to ten with a win over Bobby Green in February, setting up a battle for the championship here.

I the co-main event, UFC Bantamweight Champion Aljamain Sterling looks to hold onto the gold when he defends against former UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw. Sterling became the undisputed champion with a decision win over Petr Yan at UFC 273 in April. Dillashaw fights for the first time in a year after being sidelined with a knee injury, and is coming off a win over Cory Sandhagen in his last fight.

Also on the main card is an exciting bantamweight match-up as former UFC Bantamweight Champion Petr Yan takes on the super popular Sean O’Malley in a big test for both men. Lightweight contenders Beneil Dariush and Mateusz Gamrot also square off in a fight that could play a role in the future title picture, plus a women’s flyweight battle of contenders Katlyn Chookagian in the main card opener. A strong preliminary card is capped off with a big welterweight fight as Belal Muhammad puts his eight-fight unbeaten streak up against the undefeated Sean Brady.

Makhachev working from the top but not doing a ton as he has Oliveira pressed against the fence. Makhachev gets to his feet and looks to improve as the round ends. 10-9 Makhachev.

They tie up right away against the fence and Makhachev lands some knees. They break after Oliveira lands a knee to the body. They trade punches. Makhachev with a combo. The Octagon remains inside its home base of the UFC APEX in Las Vegas for another week of fights this time with a main event featuring a fighter looking to get himself a title shot against a late-notice veteran in his well-deserved first UFC main event.

Fourth-ranked lightweight Islam Makhachev puts his nine-fight win streak on the line against veteran Bobby Green, stepping in on ten days’ notice, in what will be a 160-pound catchweight main event. Makhachev was slated to fight Beneil Dariush in this bout, but an ankle injury forced Dariush out, and Green, who just fought at UFC 271 on February 12, stepped in for his much anticipated first headline fight. Makhachev could be next in line for a title shot with a win here.

Also on the main card is a middleweight bout pitting Misha Cirkunov against Wellington Turman, a women’s flyweight bout between Ji Yeon Kim and Priscila Cachoeira, a lightweight bout between ranked contender Arman Tsarukyan and Joel Alvarez, and a middleweight bout as the debuting Armen Petrosyan battles Gregory Rodrigues.

He’s trying to find the hooks and get his arm under the neck of Gillmore. He’s got pressure on the chin as he works for a choke. Gillmore struggling to hang on. He gets out but Brahimaj is in full mount. Brahimaj gets the back again and has the rear-naked choke locked in and Gillmore taps! This was a mauling by Brahimaj.

Martinez with a head kick that Perez blocks. Martinez with a couple of high kicks. Martinez with another high kick. Perez with a leg kick and Martinez checks it again. Perez lands a right hand. Martinez with a body kick. Martinez with more high kicks. Martinez lands a high kick and Perez catches it and eats some punches from Martinez before he lets go. McKinney goes for a takedown and they scramble and McKinney ends up in the guard of Ziam. McKinney passes guard into side control. He moves to the half-guard and lands some right hands to the body. McKinney lands some left hands from the top. McKinney tries to take the back but ends up in the mount. Ziam gives up his back and McKinney has a rear-naked choke on but not fully locked in. Even though, Ziam ends up tapping! What a performance from McKinney.

They’re trading punches inside the pocket with both landing some good punches. Pascual with a body kick. Nunes landing some big punches inside the pocket and Pascual eating them well. Nunes drops Pascual with a left hand. Pascual gets up and they’re both landing and Nunes lands a knee that puts Pascual on the floor for a moment. Green is covering up but Makhachev landing lots of shots and it is stopped. A dominant showing from Makhachev.

Welcome to F4WOnline.com’s live coverage of UFC 267: Blachowicz vs. Teixeira, emanating from the Etihad Arena in Yas Island, Abu Dhabu.

It’s a special non-pay-per-view numbered event for ESPN+ subscribers, with a stacked card as the Octagon heads back to Fight Island in Abu Dhabi, bringing along two title fights and a card full of great match-ups.

In the main event, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jan Blachowicz defends the title for a second time against challenger Glover Teixeira. Blachowicz’ last trip to Fight Island brought along the biggest moment of his career, as he finished Dominick Reyes to win the championship. He made a successful defense against Israel Adesanya in March. Teixeira gets a second chance to win the title as his career resurgence has seen him win five straight bouts coming into this one.

In the co-main event, an Interim UFC Bantamweight Championship is up for grabs as former UFC Bantamweight Champion Petr Yan takes on Cory Sandhagen. Yan was supposed to have a rematch with current champion Aljamain Sterling, but Sterling wasn’t cleared to compete due to neck issues. In steps Sandhagen on short notice, and the two will fight for the interim title and the next shot at Sterling.

The rest of the main card is full of intriguing fights as Islam Makhachev battles Dan Hooker in a lightweight bout, heavyweights Alexander Volkov and Marcin Tybura square off, Li Jingliang welcomes much-hyped Khamzat Chimaev back to action in a middleweight bout, and light heavyweight sluggers Magomed Ankalaev and Volkan Oezdemir kick off the main card.

They get to their feet and break. Petroski with two left hands. Petroski with a hard left hand and Yaozong lands a front kick to the body. Petroski with another left hand. They trade punches and Petroski landing more. Petroski already looking tired. He gets a takedown but Yaozong scrambles up. Yaozong with a body kick. Petroski is landing punches. Petroski gets an early takedown and they scramble up. Petroski with a left hand. They trade punches and Petroski gets another takedown. Petroski in the half-guard. Petroski lands some punches and he has the back and looks for the neck again. They scramble and Petroski in side control. Petroski gets the back and lands a big right hand. He now gets on top and looks for an arm-triangle. He lets go and remains on top. He goes back for it. Yaozong gets out and Petroski has the back and lands a right hand. They scramble up for a moment and Amirkhani gets another takedown. Murphy looking to throw his legs up but Amirkhani flips over to side control. Amirkhani ends up back on top after a scramble at the end of the round. 10-9 Amirkhani.

Amirkhani goes for the takedown and Murphy connects with a knee as he was coming in and Amirkhani is out cold. What a finish by Murphy.

This fight goes on though it shouldn’t. Both look exhausted. They trade and both land good shots. We have an eye poke and a timeout. Saint-Denis was saying he can’t see and the referee didn’t even bring the doctor in and pretty much made Saint-Denis continue as they get back to action. Zaleski rocks Saint-Denis and they go to the ground and Zaleski is in the guard. They get up and Zaleski lands a combo. Saint-Denis trying for a takedown but Zaleski defends as he continues to land. We have a groin strike and a timeout. He took a point from Zaleski even though he never gave him a warning. That is bad. They get back to action and Zaleski lands a right hand and a body kick. Zaleski with a flying knee. 9-9 Zaleski, 29-26 Zaleski.

This was without a doubt the worst referee job in UFC history. And I’ve seen every UFC fight in history, and I mean every single one, and many of them live since 2001.

Duraev with more big punches and Kopylov is getting eaten alive from the top. Kopylov is a bloody mess. Duraev goes for a takedown against the fence. Duraev backs away and lands some punches and then goes back for the takedown against the fence. They get to the center. Kopylov puts his hands on his knees and then lands a left hand. Kopylov with a combo and spits out his mouth piece. Kopylov with the double jab. He lands a combo. They trade in close. Kopylov lands a left hand as Duraev went for a takedown and then Kopylov gets a takedown and has the back as they stand. 10-9 Kopylov, 29-27 Duraev.

Both look to trade right away. Teixeira drops down for the takedown but Blachowicz defends. Blachowicz lands some punches. Teixeira with the jab. Blachowicz with an uppercut. They clinch against the fence. They break. Blachowicz with the jab. Teixeira lands the jab. Teixeira rocks Blachowicz with a left hook. Blachowicz lands a combo. UFC on ESPN 26 live results: Miesha Tate returns, Makhachev-Moises

Welcome to F4WOnline.com’s live coverage of UFC on ESPN 26: Makhachev vs. Moises, emanating from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Octagon is back inside the UFC APEX this week for the first of three straight weeks of fights held at the UFC’s headquarters, this one with a lightweight main event between rising contenders.

Lightweights Islam Makhachev and Thiago Moises each step into the headline position for the first time as they battle in the five-round main event. Makhachev, coming into this fight ranked ninth, looks to extend his seven-fight win streak. Moises, ranked 14th, will be looking to score his fourth straight win.

In the co-main event, former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Miesha Tate returns from retirement, fighting for the first time since November 2016, as she takes on Marion Reneau, who will be competing in her own retirement fight. Tate is trying to end a two-fight losing skid and quickly get back into the title picture. Also on the main card is a lightweight slugfest between Jeremy Stephens and Mateusz Gamrot, and a middleweight bout pitting Rodolfo Vieira against Dustin Stoltzfus.

Baudot with some leg kicks early. Both are throwing hooks. Baudot with a right hand. They trade jabs and Baudot with a right hand. He lands another. He lands another over the top. Baudot landing more punches and Nascimento clinches. Nascimento pushes Baudot against the fence and is trying to get Baudot down. Nascimento tries a takedown but Baudot ends up on top and lands a couple of big punches and lands more big punches. They get up and Nascimento is going for a takedown and Baudot lands some big elbows to the side of the head against the fence and lands a big knee. They break and Baudot lands some right hands. They clinch at the end of the round. 10-9 Baudot.

Baudot lands some punches to start the second and then we have a ground strike on Baudot and a timeout. They get back to action. They trade left hands. Nascimento pressing forward and both are landing as Nascimento is starting to work the jab. Nascimento with a flurry and he drops Baudot to a knee with some punches and starts teeing off and the fight is stopped. Big come back win for Nascimento.

Flyweights

Gordon going for a takedown right away as he pushes Figueiredo against the fence. They trade knees in the clinch. They break. Gordon lands a right hand as he’s rushing in but Figueiredo also lands a left hand. Gordon tries again for a takedown. Gordon completes the takedown but Figueiredo reverses to the top and is in the half-guard. Figueiredo is trying to transition to the mount but Gordon defending from the bottom. Figueiredo moves to the full guard and lands an elbow. Figueiredo working from the top as Gordon is trying to find an armbar attempt. Figueiredo goes for an ankle lock but Gordon escapes and ends on top and is landing punches and elbows. Gordon with some big shots from the top at the end of the first. 10-9 Gordon.

Gordon tries a takedown but Figueiredo defends. Gordon tries again and grabs the single leg. Figueiredo gets out of it. They trade jabs. Gordon lands a right hand. Gordon tries for the takedown but Figueiredo sprawls as Gordon pushes it against the fence. They break. Both looking to land and Gordon is still trying to find a takedown. Figueiredo with a leg kick. Figueiredo pouring it on as he’s landing punches and lands a knee to the body. Gordon gets a takedown. Gordon with some short punches as he ends the second on top. 10-9 Figueiredo, 19-19.

Gordon gets a takedown right away as Figueiredo tries a jumping attack. Gordon working from the top as Figueiredo is trying to use his legs to push Gordon off. Gordon with some elbows from the top. They get to the fence and Gordon is still in control and Figueiredo attempted to grab the fence to get up but got warned. They scrambled up and Figueiredo has the back and is looking to try and find a choke. Gordon trying hard to get a takedown as the scramble around the cage and Figueiredo did look to grab the fence as they clinch against the fence. Figueiredo is able to get a takedown. Gordon scrambles to the top and Figueiredo tried a triangle choke but Gordon escaped and they stood. They go back to the ground and Figueiredo has the back and lands some punches that looked to the back of head as the fight ends. 10-9 Gordon, 29-28 Gordon.

Bantamweights

Taha lands some leg kicks as Morzov lands some punches. Taha with a right hand. Morozov gets a body lock against the fence and finishes the takedown and is working in the half-guard. Taha lands a couple of short punches from the bottom but Morozov applying pressure. Morozov trying to pass guard and tried to set up a kimura but moves back to the guard and lands an elbow and a few punches. Taha goes for a leg lock but Morozov lands some big punches. 10-9 Morozov.

Taha trying to land as he quickly closes distance. Taha lands some kicks. Morozov lands a nice left hook and then an uppercut as Taha is backing up. Taha lands a left hand and then a leg kick. They trade jabs. Taha with an inside leg kick. He lands a calf kick. Morozov shoots for a takedown against the fence and lands some punches and he drags the fight to the knees. Morozov has back control and lands some knees to the body. They get up and Morozov takes it right back down and straight to back control and he has the hooks in and is trying to find a choke. Morozov with some punches at the end. 10-9 Morozov, 20-18 Morozov.

They are trading to start the third and both men land some good shots. Taha with a leg kick. Taha with a front kick as Morozov lands a combo. Morozov gets a takedown and has the back and is landing punches as they work their way up against the fence. Morozov with back control and landing some knees. Morozov gets a brief takedown. They break and Taha lands some punches and Morozov lands a nice right hand. Taha with some punches and a leg kick. They trade late. 10-9 Morozov, 30-27 Morozov.

Women’s Strawweights

Lemos with a head kick. Lemos lands a right hand and Conejo stumbled and then a left hand plants Conejo to the mat and it is quickly stopped. That was a big finish by Lemos.

Welterweights

Parsons tries a head kick and tries for a takedown but they break. Parsons with a left hand and lands some more. Rodriguez with a leg kick. He lands another. Parsons shoots for a takedown but Rodriguez defends. Rodriguez with a jab and then a leg kick. Parsons with a right hand. Parsons with a couple of body kicks. Parsons with a right hand. Parsons with leg kicks but Rodriguez landing punches. Rodriguez with a left hand. Parsons lands some punches. Rodriguez with a left hand and Parsons is hurt and circling away. Rodriguez lands an uppercut and Parsons is in trouble. Parsons tries a takedown but Rodriguez defends and is teeing off. Rodriguez with a left hand and Parsons is still in trouble. They trade. Rodriguez with a combo and starts teeing off and Parsons falls to the mat and Rodriguez with punches from the top ends it. Big win for Rodriguez as he had Parsons in lots of trouble.

Quarantillo starting with some kicks. Quarantillo with a body kick and then a leg kick. Quarantillo with a right hand. Benitez lands some punches. Quarantillo drops Benitez with a right hand and gets on top and lands. Benitez goes for an armbar but Quarantillo picks him up and slams him and is landing big punches. Quarantillo gets the back and has the body triangle in and is landing punches. Quarantillo landing and looking for a choke. Quarantillo with some body shots as he continues to have back control. Quarantillo still landing punches from the back as he’s in complete control and now lands a big elbow. Benitez is able to escape and spins into the guard but they get up. They are trading. Quarantillo shoots for a takedown and Benitez tried a guillotine but Quarantillo drops to his back and looks for a leg lock. Benitez looking for a heel hook. Quarantillo gets the back and lands some big punches at the end. 10-8 Quarantillo.

Quarantillo gets a takedown and works to the back and is working for the rear-naked choke. Benitez is fighting it but Quarantillo still working hard for it. They get to their feet and Quarantillo with a knee right to the jaw of Benitez. Quarantillo with a leg kick. They trade and clinch and Quarantillo with a shoulder strike. Quarantillo gets a takedown and is working in the guard but they scramble up and trade. They trade knees as they clinch for a moment. Quarantillo lands some big punches and then we have a timeout for a groin strike. The doctor then checks on Benitez’ eye but he continues on. They trade in close range. Quarantillo lands a big right hand and then another. He’s landing big shots against the fence at the end of the second. 10-8 Quarantillo, 20-16 Quarantillo.

They’re trading and Benitez lands a punch and Quarantillo falls to his butt. Benitez lands from the top and Quarantillo looks for a triangle choke and they get up. They’re trading. Quarantillo looks for a takedown and Benitez grabs the neck but lets go. Quarantillo gets a takedown and has the back and gets the hooks locked in and is working for a choke. Quarantillo landing punches from the back and the fight ends up being stopped. What a dominant win for Quarantillo.

Stoltzfus with a spin kick. They trade. Stoltzfus with a right hand. They trade jabs and Vieira blocks a high kick. They trade as Stoltzfus lands to the body and Vieira to the head. Vieira with the jab. Stoltzfus with a spin kick. Stoltzfus with a knee to the body late. Close round. 10-9 Stoltzfus.

Vieira gets a takedown at the start of the second and works to the back. They get to their feet. They’re trading and both landing. Vieira landing the jab a lot and is landing punches as well. Stoltzfus lands a right hand and Vieria stumbles and then Vieira shoots but Stoltzfus lands a knee to defend. Vieira with some leg kicks. Stoltzfus shoots for a takedown and Vieira defends. 10-9 Vieira, 19-19.

Vieira gets a big takedown to start the third. They scramble and Stoltzfus gets up and Vieira trying to get Stoltzfus back to the ground. Vieira gets the takedown but Stoltzfus has the neck. They’re standing and Vieira is on the back and the neck and has a choke locked in. They go to the mat and Vieira has the rear-naked choke in and Stoltzfus taps. Big finish by Vieira.

Gamrot goes for the ankle and gets the takedown on Stephens. They battle for position. Stephens goes for a kimura but Gamrot escapes. Gamrot looks for an armbar, but then switches for a kimura, gets it locked in and Stephens taps. Quick finish by Gamrot as he gets the big submission win.

Women’s Bantamweights

Reneau with a body kick. Tate with a leg kick. Tate with a right hand. They trade punches. Tate with a right hand and then goes for a takedown against the fence. They trade knees in the clinch. They break and both land punches. Tate lands a right hand and then a combo. They trade inside the pocket and Tate gets a takedown. Reneau looking to set up a triangle choke but Tate escapes and Reneau trying to land upkicks, but Tate passes the guard. Tate ends up on top. 10-9 Tate.

Tate with a front kick as Reneau was coming forward. Tate with a right hand. They’re both looking to land. Tate looks for a takedown against the fence and Reneau grabbed the fence to defend. Tate still looking for it and Reneau grabs the fence again but Tate gets the big takedown and is working in the half-guard. Tate still working from the top and Reneau gets warned for her toes in the fence. Tate with punches from the top as she ends the second there. 10-9 Tate, 20-18 Tate.

They trade to start the third and Tate landing a nice jab. Tate pressuring around the fence and landing and pushes Reneau against the fence and looks for a takedown. Tate gets the back and is landing big left hands. Reneau not defending well and is taking damage. Tate with big punches and the fight is stopped. Huge win for Tate in her return.

Lightweights

Not much happening as Makhachev is pressuring but they both land kicks. Moises landed a nice body kick. They clinch and Moises has the body lock against the fence. They break and Moises with a teet kick. Makhachev with a body kick. Makhachev with a left hand and then a combo. Makhachev with a combo and lands a knee and has the thai plumb. Makhachev with some knees as Moises drops down looking for the takedown. Makhachev defends and lands some knees as they trade positions. Makhachev gets a takedown and works from the top, landing punches and elbows. Moises with some late elbows from the back. 10-9 Makhachev.

Makhachev with some punches as he is pressuring Moises against the fence. They’re clinched up against the fence and Moises actually gets a takedown but Makhachev has the neck. Moises escapes and tries to get the back but Makhachev shakes him off and takes the back of Moises. Makhachev trying hard to get the hooks in and he’s landing punches as well. Makhachev landing and gets full back control and works for a choke. Makhachev gets the mount late and was landing punches and looked for an armbar late but time ran out. 10-9 Makhachev, 20-18 Makhachev.

Makhachev with a short leg kick. Makhachev lands a right hook as Moises was looking for an opening. Moises with a body kick. They clinch against the fence. Makhachev gets a brief takedown but they pop up and remain clinched against the fence. Makhachev now gets the control position and lands some knees as he has body control. Makhachev gets the big takedown and has the back. Moises goes for a leg lock. Makhachev reverses before the round ends. 10-9 Makhachev, 30-27 Makhachev.

Makhachev pressuring and lands punches and then gets a big takedown but Moises goes for a triangle choke. Makhachev escapes and is in the guard and landing body punches. Makhachev now takes the back and is landing big punches. Makhachev gets the rear-naked choke locked in and Moises ends up tapping. Just an absolutely dominant peformance from Makhachev.
