Impact Wrestling Saturday TV taping spoilers: Bullet Club vs. Violent by Design

  • Jack Tolos defeated VSK
  • Lady Frost defeated Alisha Edwards. After the match, Gisele Shaw came out and posed in front of Lady Frost, ignoring her.
  • Black Taurus defeated Raj Singh
  • The IInspiration defeated Madison Rayne and Kaleb with a K
  • Josh Alexander came out for a promo. He said that the only thing that means more to him that the Impact World title was Impact itself, and will go to No Surrender to face Honor no More in the 5 on 5 match. He said whoever left No Surrender as champion, he would be waiting for them. Big Kon (Konnor from the Ascension) then came out which led to a match.
  • Josh Alexander defeated Big Kon. After the match, Alexander roughed up Kon, then security, eventually pushing down Scott D’Amore. D’Amore told Alexander that getting a world title match was a process. Alexander said he would walk out if he didn’t get the title match. D’Amore then said Alexander is out of the 5 on 5 match at No Surrender and was sending him home until everything is sorted out.
  • A segment between Bullet Club, The Good Brothers, and Violent by Design set up Violent by Design vs. White & Guerillas of Destiny for later on in the show, GoD vs. Good Brothers at No Surrender, and Jay White vs. Eric Young, also for No Surrender.
  • Mike Bennett and Matt Taven defeated Rhino and Rich Swann after Maria Kanellis threw powder at Rhino. Steve Maclin came to make the save.
  • W. Morrissey defeated Brian Myers in a No DQ match. Moose attacked Morrissey with a chair after the match.
  • JONAH defeated Crazzy Steve. Black Taurus and JONAH had a staredown following the match.
  • Masha Slamovich defeated Kiah Dream
  • Ace Austin defeated Blake Christian and Laredo Kid in a three-way match
  • Gisele Shaw defeated Lady Frost
  • Chris Sabin defeated Kenny King. Ian Riccaboni was on commentary.
  • Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans defeated Mickie James and Chelsea Green
  • A contract signing between Moose and W. Morrissey was held. Moose claimed that Morrissey wouldn’t show up at No Surrender because of his attack “last week”. Moose signed the contract, but Morrissey showed up, attacking Moose and chokeslamming him off the stage.
  • Violent by Design (Eric Young, Deaner, and Joe Doering) defeated Bullet Club (Jay White and the Guerrillas of Destiny)

Impact’s next event will be No Surrender, airing live on Impact Plus on February 19 from New Orleans, Louisiana.

Impact Wrestling on AXS spoilers from Dallas, Texas

Here’s a look at Impact Wrestling’s TV taping from Sunday at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas, that will cover the next few weeks of AXS TV shows.

  • Black Taurus defeated Matthew Rehwoldt
  • Digital Media Champion Jordynne Grace defeated Lady Frost to retain and was then confronted by Matt Cardona after the match.

Scott D’Amore said they would be back in Dallas for WrestleCon on April 1.

Impact Wrestling:

  • W. Morrissey came out for a promo on Moose, challenging him for the World title. Moose appeared and declined, saying he is giving the shot to someone else.
  • The Ring of Honor group that appeared at Hard to Kill came out and jumped D’Lo Brown, putting him through a table. He did not appear for the remainder of the night.
  • Laredo Kid defeated Chris Bey. X-Division Champion Trey Miguel was on commentary.
  • “Speedball” Mike Bailey defeated Jake Something. Ace Austin and Madman Fulton were on commentary.
  • Masha Slamovich squashed a local competitor.
  • Josh Alexander came out for a promo. He wanted a Impact World title shot without any more distractions. Charlie Haas interrupted and challenged Alexander. Alexander said that he wanted the title shot first. This led to a brawl with Alexander eventually accepting Haas’ challenge.
  • World Champion Moose defeated Zicky Dice to retain. After the match, Morrissey came out and ran off Moose and then destroyed Dice and VSK. Brian Myers watched, but did not help.
  • Jonah defeated Raj Singh. Singh had cut a promo asking for competition prior to the match.
  • AAA Reina de Reinas Deonna Purrazzo defeated Rok-C to win the ROH Women’s title in a title vs. title match. Ian Riccaboni and Matthew Rehwoldt were on commentary. The ROH group then came out and confronted Purrazzo after the match. Rehwoldt, Rich Swann and Willie Mack came out for the save, but were laid out by the group.
  • The Influence defeated Havok in a handicap match as they had jumped Rosemary prior to the match. They took selfies of the fallen Havoc after the match.
  • Tasha Steelz defeated Chelsea Green. Knockouts Champion Mickie James was on commentary. Steelz confronted James after the match which led to a brawl with Steelz and Samantha Evans attacking James. Green made the save for James.
  • W. Morrissey defeated Zicky Dice and VSK in a handicap match while Myers watched on from commentary. Morrissey cut a promo saying that if he didn’t get a title shot, he would go find Moose.
  • ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham defeated Steve Maclin to retain while the ROH group watched from the balcony.
  • Doc Gallows and Joe Doering defeated Heath and Rhino after interference from Deaner. Karl Anderson was on commentary while Eric Young was at ringside.
  • Josh Alexander defeated Charlie Haas. Chris Sabin was on commentary The ROH group appeared again after the match, attacking Alexander, Haas, Sabin, Swann, Mack, Heath and Rhino, who had come out to try and make the save. Eddie Edwards came out with a kendo stick to clean house. Maria Kanellis said that there was honor no more. Edwards said that, “We are Impact and we will not be disrespected.”

Impact next heads to the Charles Dodge Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for more Impact on AXS TV tapings on January 21st and 22nd.

AEW Rampage & Elevation spoilers from Newark, New Jersey

Both AEW Rampage and Elevation were taped tonight following Dynamite at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

  • Adam Cole defeated Jake Atlas. Atlas was said to be moving slowly and was receiving medical attention from the doctors after the match.

  • Riho and Ruby Soho defeated Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter.
  • In a no disqualification match, Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz defeated 2point0 and Daniel Garcia. The latter team jumped Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz after the match, which led Chris Jericho to leave commentary and hit the ring, clearing it for the save.
  • AEW Dynamite and Rampage will be held next week at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina. Announced for next week’s Dynamite is CM Punk vs. Wardlow, Hikaru Shida vs. Serena Deeb, and Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Dante Martin.

AEW Rampage and Elevation spoilers from Jacksonville, Florida

The following are AEW Rampage and Dark: Elevation spoilers for this Friday and Monday, respectively. All were taped Wednesday in Jacksonville, Florida, at the Dynamite New Year’s Smash show.

AEW Rampage New Year’s Smash for Friday, December 31st

  • Darby Allin (with Sting) defeated Anthony Bowens (with Max Caster). After the match, Andrade El Idolo caused a distraction which allowed The Acclaimed to rough up Darby and Sting. 
  • Anna Jay and Tay Conti defeated Penelope Ford and The Bunny in an anything goes street fight. This got bloody as they used weapons and fought in and outside the ring. 
  • Tony Khan announced AEW will return to Daily’s Place on March 2nd.  
  • Cody Rhodes defeated Ethan Page to retain the TNT championship in the last AEW match of the year. The crowd was 90/10 split on hating or loving Cody Rhodes with many chants against him. They still counted the 3 and popped for the finish. 
  • After the show, Tony Khan, and many of the veterans including Chris Jericho, Sting, Tony Schiavone, and others honored Keith Mitchell with a full pyro entrance. He gave a speech thanking his wife and the fans for allowing him to work in professional wrestling all these years.

AEW Dark: Elevation for Monday, January 3rd

  • Riho defeated Valentina Rossi
  • Scorpio Sky (with Dan Lambert) defeated Ray Jaz
  • Andrade El Idolo (with Jose) defeated JP Harlow
  • Megan Bayne (with two assistants) defeated Leila Grey
  • Dark Order’s Jon Silver and Alex Reynolds defeated Mike Orlando and Shayne Stetson

This was Bayne’s fourth AEW outing dating back to April of this year and was her first win. All took place in Jacksonville.

The following matches for AEW Rampage this Saturday, Christmas Day, were taped following tonight’s Dynamite in the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina.

  • Jungle Boy defeated Isiah Kassidy by submission.
  • Hook defeated Bear Bronson, also by submission.
  • Kris Statlander defeated Leyla Hirsh, again by submission
  • Cody Rhodes defeated Sammy Guevara to win the TNT Championship for the third time. Rhodes finished off Guevara with two Cross Rhodes.

AEW will hold their final shows of 2021 next week at the Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, where AEW will hold their New Year’s Smash edition of Dynamite live, then tape for Rampage New Year’s Smash for that Friday. Dynamite is then scheduled to move to TBS on January 5, with Rampage remaining on TNT.

Set for AEW Dynamite New Year’s Smash is Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O’Reilly vs. Orange Cassidy and Best Friends, Jade Cargill vs. Thunder Rosa in a TBS Women’s title semifinal, and the team of Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz vs. 2point0 and Daniel Garcia.

AEW Rampage spoilers from Garland, Texas

AEW taped matches for this Friday’s Rampage following tonight’s AEW Dynamite in Garland, Texas:

  • Trent, Chuck Taylor, Orange Cassidy, and Rocky Romero defeated The Young Bucks, Bobby Fish, and Adam Cole in an eight-man tag team match. Trent pinned Fish to win the match.
  • Dan Lambert returned to AEW and cut a promo. He was interrupted by Cody Rhodes. This eventually led to Men of the Year (Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page) jumping Cody. Dustin Rhodes came out to even things, but was also attacked until Sammy Guevara made the save.
  • Tay Conti defeated Penelope Ford in a submission match.
  • Daniel Garcia, The Acclaimed, and 2point0 defeated Eddie Kingston, Santana, Ortiz, and The Lucha Bros. in a ten-man tag match.

AEW next week will be holding AEW Dynamite and taping Rampage at the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina. Matches already announced for Dynamite include MJF & FTR vs. Darby Allin, Sting, and CM Punk in a six-man tag match and Malakai Black vs. Griff Garrison.

  • Eddie Kingston defeated Daniel Garcia (with 2point0). After the match, Kingston was jumped by Garcia and 2point0 but was saved by Chris Jericho. Kingston brushed off Jericho’s attempt to help him.

  • Jamie Hayter defeated a local competitor
  • The Gunn Club defeated Alex Chamberlain, Dean Mercer, and Diamond Sheik
  • Thunder Rosa, Kris Statlander, and Red Velvet defeated Nyla Rose, Emi Sakura, and Diamante
  • Jade Cargill and Smart Mark Sterling came out. Sterling introduced Cargill as the TBS Champion. He says it is a travesty she is in the tournament, and should be handed the title.
  • Lance Archer defeated an unnamed opponent
  • Frankie Kazarian defeated Aaron Solo
  • Stu Grayson, Colt Cabana, Alan Angels, and 10 of the Dark Order defeated Daniel Garcia, Serpentico, and 2point0

AEW Rampage:

  • Tony Shiavone interviewed Penta El 0 M in the ring. Before he could say anything, FTR came out and attacked him. PAC came out for the save.

  • PAC defeated Andrade El Idolo. After the match, the lights went out and Malakai Black appeared, attacking PAC. Cody Rhodes came out to make the save. Cody said in the promo he will never turn heel because he loves the energy from the crowd too much.
