New Japan Power Struggle sets up some key matches for Wrestle Kingdom — including, Bryan Danielson making it official and promising to break Okada’s arm.

Plus, SmackDown highlights, an awesome three-way on Rampage, and more. Plus, does it feel like both WWE and AEW are taking too long with their storytelling? It’s another busy weekend around the world of professional wrestling, and we’ll get into all of it.

Predictions for WWE Crown Jewel and New Japan Power Struggle. A no-spoiler look at tonight’s WWE SmackDown and AEW Rampage shows, and a preview of Saturday’s Collision. CMLL’s annual Friday night Dia del Muertos show at Arena Mexico, plus some thoughts on AEW hiring Ric Flair, Dana White’s story about Vince McMahon blocking the UFC on USA, and more.

Wrestling Observer Live: A classic on Collision

Andrew Zarian is back with another episode of Wrestling Observer Live, the Sunday edition. This week, we’re talking about the biggest stories from the world of professional wrestling.

AEW Collision was a huge episode with one of the biggest main events in the history of the show as MJF defended against Kenny Omega in an all-time classic. We’ll break down the match and the rest of the show.

Unfortunately, there was some bad news coming out of Collision, as it was announced that Bryan Danielson suffered a fractured orbital bone and will need surgery. We’ll discuss how this injury could affect his legacy.

WWE Crown Jewel is next Saturday. Andrew breaks down the card and discusses the buildup from this week’s SmackDown, including the faceoff between LA Knight and Roman Reigns.

Even though he’s hot right now, most people don’t expect Knight will win the title at Crown Jewel. Does it really matter if he does? WrestleMania is already sold out. It’s going to break records regardless.

Wrestling Observer Live with Mike Sempervive & Tom Lawlor returns with another installment of FILTHY FRIDAY to get you ready for another busy weekend around the world of professional wrestling. As per usual, with Bryan not here, things didn’t go exactly according to plan.

It started just fine, with NWA World champion EC3 joining the show to talk about his match this weekend against Thom Latimer at the NWA Samhain pay-per-view. But then, as the boys settled in to talk Saturday’s NJPW Strong Fighting Spirit Unleashed, they were rudely interrupted by Filthy’s opponent on Saturday – Bullet Club War Dogs’ Gabe Kidd.
