WrestleCon reveals new Supershow main event

A new main event has been announced for the WrestleCon Supershow.

WrestleCon revealed that Ricochet will now team with his Demand stablemates the GOA to take on JetSpeed & Michael Oku. In their post making the announcement, they personally thanked Tony Khan and AEW for their part in getting the match together.

“It took some exceptions to make this match happen on our little independent show to honor our friend, and we want to personally thank Tony Khan and AEW for allowing this to happen,” they wrote. “When we lost our main event, we had several wrestlers, management, and agents reach out and offer their help. Thanks to everybody that had a part in putting this one together.”

The original main event had been an interpromotional dream match between AEW’s Ricochet and TNA’s Leon Slater. Despite originally getting clearance by management, it was announced days later that TNA had pulled Slater from the show, citing “partner conflicts.”

A match between MJF and Nic Nemeth was also pulled around the same time, which was set to take place in May for Create-A-Pro. The AEW World Champion was critical of TNA President Carlos Silva following the announcement, saying the choice to remove TNA talent was “disgusting.”

The Demand added to RevPro High Stakes, Mercedes Mone’s opponent revealed

Mercedes Mone’s opponent for RevPro High Stakes is set.

During a RevPro event on Sunday, Alexxis Falcon won a battle royal where the winner would face Mone on March 21. Other participants in the match included Rhio, Amira, and Kanji.

It was announced earlier this week that Mone would be at High Stakes, her first appearance for the promotion since December. Shortly after losing the TBS Championship later that month, Mone announced that she would be taking time off. However, she has since been announced for multiple bookings, including the CMLL Women’s Day Show on March 26, BestYa Wrestling in Italy on March 8, Banger Zone Wrestling in France on March 14, and Winnipeg Pro Wrestling on March 31.

It was also announced on Sunday that The Demand (Ricochet and GOA) would be coming to High Stakes to take on the Flying Bryant Brothers (Leland Bryant, Nino Bryant, and Zander Bryant). Ricochet’s group has been seen in other promotions ever since Ricochet won the National title last year. They were recently in CMLL and also competed at Friday’s NJPW New Beginning USA card, with Ricochet defending the National title against Taiji Ishimori and the GOA coming up short against the Knock Out Brothers for the IWGP Tag Team titles.

A title celebration for Willow Nightingale has been announced for this Wednesday’s show in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Nightingale ended 2025 on a high note, defeating Mercedes Mone for the TBS title, ending her reign after 584 days.

“Willow made history by becoming the first Two Time TBS Champion AND the first woman to hold two AEW Titles at the same time with her win last week. She celebrates LIVE, TOMORROW!,” AEW wrote.

Additionally, a six-man tag team match was announced. Jack Perry will team with Jetspeed to take on The Demand’s Ricochet and the GOA.

“Last week, GOA injured @Luchasaurus + Ricochet contributed to a bounty on JetSpeed’s heads! Jungle Jack + JetSpeed battle The Demand, TOMORROW!,” AEW wrote describing tomorrow’s match.

AEW files trademark for new faction name

AEW has filed a trademark for “The Demand” — Ricochet & The Gates of Agony’s new faction name.

The newly named group was victorious at All Out this past weekend, defeating The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin & MVP) in trios action. Records show that AEW made a filing on September 21 to secure the rights to “The Demand” trademark.

In the application, it’s stated that the trademark covers goods and services related to pro wrestling performances:

Conducting entertainment exhibitions in the nature of professional [wrestling] exhibitions and performances by professional wrestlers, namely, performances by a team of wrestlers during professional wrestling events; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances

At the post-All Out press conference, Ricochet said The Demand made a statement with their victory and now have their sights set on getting another Trios title shot. The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs & Katusyori Shibata) retained the belts over Ricochet & The Gates of Agony this August after MVP Interfered and hit Ricochet with a cane.

The Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) are former ROH Trios Champions with Brian Cage prior to linking up with Ricochet in this new faction.

All Out marked the second straight PPV for Ricochet & The Gates of Agony, with them having defeated “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight & Michael Oku on the Forbidden Door 2025 pre-show.
