Roman Reigns defeated Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura (w/Sami Zayn) by DQ

Zayn joined Michael Cole and Corey Graves on commentary. Nakamura rocked Reigns with hard knees to gain an early advantage. Reigns fought back and hit a Samoan drop for a near fall. Zayn jumped up from commentary and saved Nakamura from Reigns’ drive-by.

Back from the break, Nakamura was firmly in control with a side headlock. Reigns fired back and rocked Nakamura with a clothesline. He set up for the superman punch, but Nakamura countered with an armbar. Reigns powered out and hit a sit-out powerbomb for a near fall.

Zayn left commentary again and jumped on the apron. The distraction allowed Nakamura to hit a sliding German suplex. He went for the Kinshasa, but Reigns hit the superman punch for a close two count.

Reigns went for the spear, but King Corbin attacked Reigns from behind for the disqualification. On commentary, Graves noted Corbin is going to make Reigns pay for his cousin The Rock embarrassing him a few weeks ago.

The heels ganged up on Reigns, but Daniel Bryan ran out for the save. Bryan went for the suicide dive, but Zayn grabbed his leg. Nakamura then hit the Kinshasa on Bryan. The heels walked off, celebrating.

Michael Cole and Corey Graves talked about the draft and SmackDown’s roster. They’re both thrilled with SmackDown’s new roster.

In the back, The New Day sang a song. Tucker interrupted and pointed out they’re all competing against each other at Crown Jewel. Tonight they’re a team, and he wants to make Kofi Kingston feel better about losing the WWE Championship. Kingston said he’s feeling good and has the power of positivity. Otis then drank a bunch of protein shake and pancake batter.

Kayla Braxton tried to interview King Corbin, but he put his crown on and just walked off.

Shorty Gable defeated Curtis Axel (w/Bo Dallas)

Before the match, they recapped all the heels mocking Gable’s height and featured him getting beat down.

Axel slowed the pace down with an armbar. Gable rolled up Axel for a near fall.

Gable rocked Dallas with a kick to the face off the apron. Axel attempted the Perfect Plex, but Gable reversed into an ankle lock for the win.

After the match, Kayla Braxton interviewed Gable. He said he thought his height held him back, but that’s not the case. Gable talked about embracing who he is, and everyone has insecurities. He said to overcome them, and he accepts who he is. Gable decided to shorten his name to Shorty G. The fans slowly cheered Gable more by the end of the promo.

Michael Cole and Corey Graves interviewed Hulk Hogan on Skype. They noted Team Hogan had no team captain because Seth Rollins is taking on “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt at Crown Jewel.

Hogan noted he’s looking for a new captain, and the entire roster volunteered. He said the latest members of his team are Shorty G and Ali. He promised big news by the end of the show.

Heavy Machinery & The New Day (w/Kofi Kingston) defeated The Revival, Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode

Tucker caught Ziggler with a dropkick to take over. Heavy Machinery both hit a suplex on Ziggler and Roode. The faces sent Revival to the floor and Woods hit a dive.

Back from the break, the heels were in control, but Woods nailed Dash Wilder with a back suplex. Scott Dawson prevented Woods from making the tag. Woods fired back, but the heels took over. They isolated Woods and cut him off from his corner.

Ziggler attempted a superplex, but Woods pushed him off. He followed up with a missile dropkick. Otis got the hot tag and ran wild. He attempted a splash, but Ziggler caught him with a boot. Dawson made a blind tag.

Otis then hit the caterpillar on Roode. Dawson attempted a cross body, but Otis caught him.

They attempted the compacter, but Ziggler pulled Tucker to the floor.

Dawson got a near fall and attempted a suplex. Otis held up Dawson for a suplex and handed him to Big E. New Day then hit the midnight hour for the win.

They announced Roman Reigns & Daniel Bryan against Shinsuke Nakamura & King Corbin later tonight.

Kayla Braxton interviewed Bryan in the back. He doesn’t care about Twitter beef or grown men arguing about the draft. He promised to put the two Kings in their place.

They showed a video on Ali and noted he’s on Team Hogan at Crown Jewel.

Miz TV with SmackDown Woman’s Champion Bayley

Bayley came out to new music and didn’t smile as she walked to the ring. Sasha Banks accompanied Bayley.

Banks is out there to support her best friend. Bayley reminded everyone that she beat Charlotte Flair last week.

Miz pointed out that Twitter exploded after Bayley’s shocking behavior last week. They recapped her defeating Flair and debuting a new look and attitude. Miz asked Bayley why she did what she did. She doesn’t owe anyone an explanation. He said she owes an apology to all the kids that supported her.

She didn’t speak, and he called her Brock Lesnar and wondered if Banks is her Paul Heyman. Miz asked if it’s because the fans didn’t cheer her. He thinks it’s because she’s in Banks’ shadow.

Bayley destroyed the Bayley buddies because she’s sick of the fans. All the fans did was take, and all she was trying to do was be a role model. She was heartbroken when she lost the title at Hell In A Cell. Nobody was there for her, and there was nobody to hug her. Bayley feels she outgrew the fans. She asked the fans if they want some inspiration. She said life sucks, and then you die.

Nikki Cross interrupted and made her way to the ring. She said the time for talking is over, and it’s time for action. She told Bayley to make herself comfortable and promised to hug Bayley after the match.

Dana Brooke then made her way out. She said tonight marks a new beginning and promised to win as well.

Six-pack Challenge: Nikki Cross defeated Dana Brooke, Lacey Evans, Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose, and Carmella To Earn A SmackDown Woman’s Title Shot

Banks and Bayley watched the match from ringside.

Evans rolled out of the ring. Rose and Deville worked together to control the match. They teased going at it but instead went after Carmella on the floor. Brooke took Fire & Desire out, but Evans rocked Brooke with an elbow.

Carmella took out everyone with a cross body off the barricade. Back from the break, Rose and Deville worked over Carmella. Cross took over and hit a cross body off the top to the floor.

Dana Brooke gained control and hit a powerbomb on Evans. She followed up with Swanton Bomb for a near fall.

Carmella and Rose both made the save. Rose and Carmella started trading slaps, and on commentary, Cole told Graves not to get conflicted.

Evans hit the women’s right, but Carmella hit a superkick. Rose caught Carmella with a knee, but Cross hit the neck breaker for the win.

Cross and Bayley had a staredown after the match.

They recapped the Bray Wyatt and Seth Rollins feud, including Rollins burning down the Firefly Funhouse.

Braun Strowman defeated Drew Gulak

Gulak got on the mic and introduced himself to Strowman. He noted it’s his first night. Gulak said he’s a historian and said Tyson Fury will beat Strowman if he does the same thing he always does.

Gulak created a powerpoint presentation and started to walk Strowman through it. Strowman snapped and completely dominated Gulak. He ran around ringside and rocked Gulak with a shoulder block. He then hit a splash in the corner and power slam for the win.

Roman Reigns & Daniel Bryan defeated Shinsuke Nakamura & King Corbin

Roman Reigns was announced at the new team captain for Team Hogan at Crown Jewel.

Daniel Bryan was firmly in control until Sami Zayn interfered. Back from break, the heels were in control. Corbin knocked Reigns off the apron. They isolated Bryan and cut him off from his corner. Bryan fired up and hit a running knee. He tried to make the tag, but Corbin pulled Reigns off the apron again.

Corbin teased hitting Reigns with the steps, but Bryan hit a suicide dive. Bryan then applied the Lebell Lock on Nakamura, but Corbin made the save. Reigns then hit a superman punch on the floor. He followed up by spearing Corbin on the floor through the barricade.

Bryan rocked Nakamura with the Yes Kicks and set up for the running knee. Nakamura avoided the first time, but Bryan hit the running knee on his second attempt for the win.

Bryan and Reigns celebrated and shook hands after the match.

Next Week: SmackDown moves to FS1 because of the World Series.

WWE SmackDown ratings down 25 percent from FOX premiere

Last night’s SmackDown averaged 2.898 million viewers in the overnight ratings, down 25 percent from last Friday’s FOX premiere.

The episode was night one of this year’s WWE Draft.

In the key 18-49 demo, SmackDown averaged a 0.95 rating, down from 1.35 last week.

The only demo where SmackDown didn’t fall was in persons 50+. The show averaged a 3 rating in that demo both weeks.

In comparison to the other networks, FOX trailed both CBS and NBC but beat ABC in terms of total viewers. SmackDown did finish first in the 18-34 and 18-49 demos.

The first hour of SmackDown averaged 2.925 million viewers, with hour two doing 2.872 million viewers. The drop from the first to second hour was only two percent, a much better audience retention than Raw usually has over the course of its show.

Last week’s SmackDown dropped three percent from in the second hour, but with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson appearing in the opening segment, it would’ve been expected to drop more.

Final numbers will not be available until Tuesday afternoon but should end up relatively close to this. Last week, the final viewership was up 14,000 from the overnights, a change of just 0.3 percent.

WWE announces SmackDown Women’s title rematch

A SmackDown Women’s title rematch will be taking place on night one of the WWE Draft.

WWE has announced that SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair will defend her title against Bayley on tonight’s SmackDown. The T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada is hosting the episode.

Charlotte won the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Bayley at this past Sunday’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.

This is the second match that’s been announced for tonight’s SmackDown. Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns will be the show’s opening match. It has draft implications, with Rollins representing Raw and Reigns representing SmackDown. The stipulation is that Raw will get the number one overall pick in the draft if Rollins wins, and SmackDown will get the number one pick if Reigns wins.

The draft will begin on tonight’s SmackDown and then conclude on Monday’s Raw. WWE has announced “preliminary draft pools” for nights one and two, which are lists of wrestlers eligible to be selected by either brand on that night.

Charlotte and Bayley are both eligible to be selected on night two.

With Raw being a three-hour show, the brand will pick 41 wrestlers in the draft. SmackDown will pick 30.

Rollins facing Reigns on SD, winning brand gets first pick in WWE Draft

Before the WWE Draft begins on tomorrow’s SmackDown, a match with draft implications will open the show.

WWE has announced Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns as the opening match for this Friday’s SmackDown. Rollins is representing Raw, while Reigns is representing SmackDown. The stipulation is that — if Rollins wins — Raw will get the first overall pick in the draft. SmackDown will get the first overall pick if Reigns wins.

Heading into the draft, Rollins has been on the Raw roster and is the Universal Champion. Reigns has been on SmackDown since joining the brand in this April’s Superstar Shake-up. They’ll be eligible to be picked by either brand in the draft.

Rollins didn’t appear on this week’s Raw. The show came the night after his Hell in a Cell match against The Fiend ended without a decisive finish. WWE is calling the finish a stoppage.

Reigns & Daniel Bryan defeated Erick Rowan & Luke Harper in a tornado tag match at Hell in a Cell.

Tomorrow’s SmackDown is taking place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Night two of the draft will then be held on Monday’s Raw at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.

Brock Lesnar wins WWE title on SmackDown’s FOX premiere

Kofi Kingston’s WWE Championship reign ended with one F-5 on tonight’s SmackDown on FOX premiere.

In the main event of tonight’s SmackDown, Brock Lesnar won the WWE title by defeating Kingston in seconds. There was then an angle where former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez made his WWE debut, coming out with Rey Mysterio to get revenge on Lesnar for Lesnar attacking Rey and Dominik on this week’s Raw.

Prior to losing the title to Lesnar, Kingston had held the WWE Championship since winning it from Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35 this April.

Tonight was the first time Lesnar has wrestled on weekly WWE television since 2004.

Lesnar becoming WWE Champion comes in advance of the WWE Draft starting next week. It will begin on next Friday’s SmackDown at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The draft will then continue on the Monday, October 14 edition of Raw at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.

VIDEO: WWE reveals new set for SmackDown on FOX

Before the show’s FOX premiere went on the air tonight, WWE unveiled SmackDown’s new set:

Renee Young, Booker T, Big E, and Xavier Woods revealed the set on tonight’s “blue carpet” kickoff special, which featured Young and Booker T hosting the broadcast inside of the Staples Center and FOX Sports’ Charissa Thompson doing interviews outside of the building.

SmackDown and Raw both got new sets and other presentation elements this week. Both shows have new theme songs as well. The theme for SmackDown on FOX is “Are You Ready” by AC/DC, while Raw’s new theme is “Legendary” by Skillet.

New commentary teams for Raw and SmackDown also went into effect this week. Vic Joseph, Dio Maddin, and Jerry “The King” Lawler are calling Raw, while Michael Cole and Corey Graves are calling SmackDown.

WWE has also announced that Renee Young will be a “special contributor” for SmackDown.

In addition to the blue carpet special, there was a pre-show match at the Staples Center before SmackDown tonight. Ali defeated Buddy Murphy.

WWE SmackDown FOX premiere live results: Kingston vs. Lesnar

Friday Night SmackDown debuts on the FOX network from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California tonight. WWE will celebrate the show’s 20th anniversary with a loaded lineup.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson returns to the blue brand after announcing on Twitter earlier this week that he’d be appearing on the debut show.

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston defends his title against Brock Lesnar. Lesnar challenged Kingston a few weeks ago and delivered a massive F-5 after Kingston accepted.

Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair take on SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley & Sasha Banks. Last week, Banks and Bayley beat down Flair until Lynch made the save.

Kevin Owens faces Shane McMahon in a ladder match where both of their careers are on the line. McMahon agreed to the match if Owens would drop his $25 million wrongful termination lawsuit. Roman Reigns also goes one-on-one with Erick Rowan. That comes in advance of Reigns & Daniel Bryan taking on Rowan & Luke Harper at Hell in a Cell this Sunday night.

Plus, appearances by Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Lita, Mick Foley, Booker T, Hulk Hogan, Trish Stratus, Goldberg, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Mark Henry, Ric Flair, and Sting.

The “blue carpet” special begins on FOX at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time, with SmackDown starting at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Kick-Off Show

The kick-off show started at FOX Studios, with Becky Lynch getting a tour and included appearances by Michael Strahan and Terry Bradshaw.

Charissa Thompson’s outside the Staples Center on the blue carpet. Thompson spoke with Charlotte and Ric Flair.

In the Staples Center, hosts Renee Young and Booker T spoke with Big E and Xavier Woods. They revealed the new set, which is pretty awesome looking. The set includes a new ramp and entrance. It also consists of a giant screen above the entranceway.

They showed several FOX celebs and WWE Personalities on the blue carpet.

SmackDown

Vince and Stephanie McMahon walked out onto the ramp to start SmackDown. The fans gave them a big pop and sang Vince’s theme music. They welcomed the fans to FOX and Friday Night SmackDown.

SmackDown has a brand new theme song and opening credit.

Raw Woman’s Champion Becky Lynch made her way down to the ring. The fans broke into a huge “Becky” chant.

Lynch noted SmackDown has a special place in her heart. She’s happy to be the first to start SmackDown on FOX. She first broke through the glass ceiling on SmackDown.

King Baron Corbin interrupted, and Lynch threatened Corbin. Corbin feels he should be the first person to start SmackDown on FOX

Suddenly, The Rock’s music hit, and the Staples Center erupted. Rock made his way down to the ring. Rock and Lynch faced off but then did a special handshake. The fans broke into a massive “Rocky” chant.

Rock noted he once told a jabroni that he was going to lay the SmackDown, and then it became a show. Rock did his classic catchphrases and said that he has finally come back home. He called Corbin Burger King, and the fans broke into a “Burger King” chant.

Rock mocked Cobrin for dressing like a 35-year-old virgin at comic con. Rock noted Lynch calls herself The Man, but she’s doesn’t walk around with giant testicles. Lynch interjected they’d still be bigger than Corbin’s. The fans broke into a “Becky” chant.

Corbin got in Lynch and Rock’s face. Lynch and The Rock worked together and beat down Corbin. Rock then gave Corbin the People’s Elbow and Rock Bottom to a huge pop. The fans broke into another “Rocky” chant.

Michael Cole and Corey Graves are handling the commentary.

Raw Woman’s Champion Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair defeated SmackDown Woman’s Champion Bayley & Sasha Banks

Flair jumped Bayley to start the match and had the early advantage. Flair went up for a moonsault, but Bayley shoved her off to the floor.

Back from break, Flair fought off Bayley, and Lynch got the hot tag. Lynch ran wild and hit a leg drop off the second turnbuckle on Bayley for near fall. Flair hit Natural Selection on Bayley for another near fall.

All four women start brawling in the ring. Lynch caught Banks with a missile dropkick and sent Banks to the floor.

Flair then hit a massive moonsault off the top to the floor and locked on the Figure Eight on Bayley for the win.

Erin Andrews interviewed WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E. Kingston promised to overcome the odds and defeat Lesnar.

They showed Tyson Fury, Kurt Angle and Mick Foley sitting at ringside.

Seth Rollins made his way to the ring for his match when Bray Wyatt’s The Firefly Funhouse interrupted. Ramblin Rabbit was wearing a Rollins t-shirt and warned him not to get in Hell in a Cell with The Fiend. Mercy The Buzzard killed Ramblin Rabbit as a preview for Hell in a Cell.

Hulk Hogan made his way to his seat at ringside.

Universal Champion Seth Rollins vs. Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura  (w/Sami Zayn)

The match ended without a winner. Nakamura went for the armbar for the quick win. Rollins fought back and gained the advantage.

Suddenly, the lights went out. When the lights came back on, Nakamura was in the ring alone, and Rollins was on the stage at the entrance.

The Fiend attacked Rollins from behind and applied the mandible claw. He then threw Rollins off the stage.

Kevin Owens defeated Shane McMahon in a Loser is Fired Ladder Match

The match felt somewhat rushed. Owens and McMahon fought up the ramp to start the match. Owens tossed a ladder at McMahon, but he ducked, and the ladder went flying. Owens tried bringing in a ladder, but McMahon hit a sliding dropkick into the ladder.

McMahon hit Owens with a ladder to the back and placed him on the announce table. McMahon then hit an elbow off the top turnbuckle on to Owens, who was still on the table.

Back from the break, Owens was back in control and hit a frog splash off the top turnbuckle on to McMahon, who was on a ladder between the apron and barricade.

Owens climbed the ladder, but McMahon cut him off with a chair. McMahon placed a ladder across Owens’s face and hit the coast-to-coast. Graves pushed the idea that McMahon’s landing took a lot out of him.

McMahon climbed the ladder, but Owens power bombed McMahon onto another ladder. Owens then climbed up the ladder and grabbed the briefcase for the win.

After the match, Owens grabbed a mic and fired McMahon. He then hit the stunner on McMahon.

Kayla Braxton interviewed Paul Heyman in the back. They recapped Brock Lesnar attacking Rey Mysterio and his son Dominic. Heyman said it’s not a prediction but a spoiler that Lesnar’s going to win the WWE Championship.

Braun Strowman, The Miz & Heavy Machinery defeated AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode

Ziggler had an early advantage, but Miz hit a DDT and tagged Strowman. Strowman scored a near fall, but Roode broke it up. Everyone came in a hit a big move, and they all ended up at ringside.

Strowman then ran around ringside, running down the heels. Strowman and Tyson Fury went face to face. Strowman taunted Fury. Ziggler jumped Strowman, but Strowman regained control. Strowman then tossed Ziggler into Fury.

Fury wasn’t happy about this and stood up. Strowman then hit a slam on Ziggler for the win.

After the match, Fury jumped the barricade, and a massive amount of security stopped him from entering. Strowman stood in the ring, smiling. This was a pretty good angle that got a big reaction from the fans.

Roman Reigns defeated Erick Rowan in a Lumberjack Match

The lumberjacks included Ricochet, Andrade, The Viking Raiders, and The Revival. Daniel Bryan joined Graves and Cole on commentary.

Rowan had the early advantage and scored a near fall. Back from the break, Rowan was firmly in control. Reigns fought back and hit a Samoan drop for a close near fall. Reigns went for the Superman Punch, but Rowan caught him.

Luke Harper made his way down to ringside, and Bryan attacked him. All the lumberjacks brawled, and Reigns hit a massive dive onto all the lumberjacks. Rowan then power bombed Ali into Reigns.

Reigns fought back and had the match won when Harper broke up the pin. Graves noted there are no disqualifications in a lumberjack match. Bryan nailed Harper with the running knee. Rowan attempted the Iron Claw, but Reigns hit the spear for the win.

Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman) defeated Kofi Kingston to win the WWE Championship

Kingston sent Xavier Woods and Big E to the back. This was a very short match. Kingston charged Lesnar, but he picked him up in the F-5 for the quick win to become the new WWE Champion.

After the match, Rey Mysterio’s music hit, but he walked out with Cain Velazquez. Mysterio had his arm in a sling selling the attack from Monday. Cole noted that Velazquez defeated Lesnar for the UFC Championship. Velazquez walked to the ring. Lesnar charged at him, but Velazquez took him down. Lesnar ran out of the ring up the ramp.

Lesnar teased entering the ring but walked off instead. Mysterio and Velazquez posed in the ring. This was another good angle involving an outsider and was a good ending to an excellent FOX premiere.

Next Week: The 2019 WWE Draft begins.

WWE has announced Reigns vs. Erick Rowan for the first episode of SmackDown on FOX. It’s being held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California next Friday.

The SmackDown on FOX debut is taking place two days before WWE’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. Reigns & Daniel Bryan will team against Rowan & Luke Harper at the PPV.

Bryan and Reigns fought off Rowan and Harper after Bryan’s match against Rowan on this week’s SmackDown.

Earlier this month, Rowan officially admitted to being the culprit in Reigns’ mystery attacker storyline. Rowan defeated Reigns in a no disqualification match at Clash of Champions, with Harper making his return and helping Rowan win.

Owens-Shane ladder match added to WWE SmackDown’s FOX debut

After being set up at the end of this week’s SmackDown, WWE has announced when Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon’s ladder match will take place.

The ladder match between Owens and Shane has been added to the lineup for SmackDown’s FOX premiere. The match has a stipulation where Owens and Shane are both putting their careers on the line.

The SmackDown on FOX debut is taking place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Friday, October 4. Brock Lesnar will challenge for Kofi Kingston’s WWE Championship on the episode, Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair will face Sasha Banks & Bayley, and legends will appear as part of SmackDown’s 20th anniversary celebration.

Owens was “fired” by Shane on the September 10 episode of SmackDown. Last week, the angle was furthered with the revelation that Owens had filed “the largest wrongful termination lawsuit in history” against Shane.

That led to Owens and Shane trying to settle the lawsuit on SmackDown this week. Shane offered Owens two options: keeping Owens in court for years or him dropping the lawsuit and being reinstated by Shane. Shane also said he would rescind Owens’ $100,000 fine. Instead of accepting either option, Owens challenged Shane to the ladder match.

Four Horsewomen tag rematch set for WWE SmackDown’s FOX debut

The final episode of SmackDown on USA Network included a match announcement for the show’s FOX premiere.

Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair will team against Sasha Banks & SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley on SmackDown’s FOX debut. It’s taking place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Friday, October 4.

The theme of the FOX premiere is SmackDown’s 20th anniversary celebration, and it will also feature Brock Lesnar challenging for Kofi Kingston’s WWE Championship.

Lynch & Charlotte vs. Banks & Bayley is a rematch from the September 9 episode of Raw at Madison Square Garden. Lynch & Charlotte got the win in that match.

The Friday Night SmackDown premiere comes in advance of Lynch defending her Raw Women’s Championship against Banks in a Hell in a Cell match at WWE’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on October 6. Tonight’s SmackDown ended with an angle where Banks attacked Lynch as she was being interviewed backstage.

Banks & Bayley also defeated Charlotte & Carmella earlier on SmackDown tonight. Lynch saved Charlotte from Banks and Bayley after the match.

‘Blue carpet’ show airing before WWE SmackDown’s FOX debut

FOX has announced a slate of programming to hype up SmackDown’s premiere on the channel.

Immediately before SmackDown makes its FOX debut on Friday, October 4, there will be a half-hour “blue carpet” kickoff show.
