WWE NXT live results: Eight-man tag team main event

WWE NXT continues its build to Heatwave tonight — along with setting the stage for next week’s TV episode in Philadelphia.

It’s been confirmed that NXT Champion Oba Femi will defend his title against either Trick Williams or Je’Von Evans at the August 24 Heatwave PLE. Those two are set to do battle in a number one contender’s match next week, but they’ll be on the same side tonight as Femi, Williams, Evans, and TNA star Moose take on DarkState in an eight-man tag.

NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne will also be in tag action tonight, teaming up with Fallon Henley against Kelani Jordan & Lola Vice.

A grudge match is on the books for tonight with Nia Jax facing off against Lash Legend. Jax is out for revenge after Legend eliminated her from a battle royal at WWE Evolution.

Plus, TNA’s Joe Hendry will compete against Charlie Dempsey.

Join us for live coverage starting at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

NXT is on the air from a sound stage at the Performance Center in Orlando.

— Opening the show is an outdoor skit from earlier today where NXT Tag Team Champions Hank & Tank arrive at the building. They are met by NXT General Manager Ava, who orders they are not allowed to interfere tonight in Darkstate’s match. Ava has something in her eye, and the tag champs perceived that as a wink and a nod. Ava insists she is serious, and they are not to interfere. They wink back and walk away.

Lash Legend vs. Nia Jax

The match goes through a commercial break, and the live studio audience got into the match. Jax is in control much of the bout, but Legend powers out to fight back. At one point, Legend is making a comeback when Jax grabs the ring skirt. The referee turns away from them so he can get the skirting out of the ring. Behind the ref’s back, Jax pokes Legend in the eye.

The fighting soon spills outside the ring. They teased a suplex on the announce desk. Instead, Legend picks up Jax for a bodyslam, but Legend buckles and Jax splashes Legend as they crash through the announce desk. They then tease a countout, but Legend beats the count at the last second.

For the finish, they tease a superplex. Legend slips out and lifts Jax for a powerbomb. However, Legend’s legs again buckle, and Jax falls on top of her in a seated position. It looked like Legend took a very painful bump. Jax then climbed to the middle rope for a Bonsai Drop. Jax went to cover Legend for a three count.

Match result: Nia Jax defeats Lash Legend via pinfall

— Kelly Kincaid interviews Darkstate, and they take turns cutting promos.

— Chelsea Green and the Secret Hervice are backstage in a skit where they are scouting talent. They encounter Evolve Women’s Champion Kali Armstrong. Green also insults several others on the roster. There is a weird attempt at comedy with two guys dressed in wigs and makeup, and they are quickly ushered away. The skit concludes with them setting up a match between Alba Fyre and Kendal Grey.

Joe Hendry vs. Charlie Dempsey (with Wren Sinclair)

Hendry is over with the studio audience. Dempsey was able to do some nifty wrestling, but this was about pushing Hendry. Dempsey with a counter late in the match, and he uses a backslide for a near fall. Hendry counters a second attempt of the backslide. Hendry then chokeslams Dempsey with Standing Ovation, and Hendry covers him for a pinfall.

Match result: Joe Hendry defeats Charlie Dempsey via pinfall

— Before a commercial break, Josh Briggs is heading to the ring. We will “hear from him” after the break.

— But first, another skit. Lola Vica and Kelani Jordan are warming up for their tag team match later tonight. In walks Jaida Parker, who says she has money on them in the tag match. But Parker warns them both about chasing the women’s title, as that is her shot.

Josh Briggs challenges Yoshiki Inamura to a street fight

Briggs enters the sound stage for a monologue. The studio audience drowns Briggs in boos. Briggs begins to cut a promo on his former partner, Yoshiki Inamura. The crowd chants to turn off the spotlights. That causes Briggs to stumble on his promo, but he continues while the audience boos more.

Briggs says Inamura needs to learn the only way to survive in NXT is to play dirty. So, Briggs issues a challenge for next week in Philadelphia for a Philly street fight. Inamura power walks to the ring to confront Briggs and answer the challenge.

Inamura calls Briggs a “jackass” before saying he will fight is way with honor. Inamura goes on to accept the challenge for the street fight, and Inamura then jumps Briggs. They fight on the turnbuckles as security tries to separate them. Inamura knocks Briggs off the turnbuckles, and Briggs falls into the waiting arms of security at ringside. Inamura then leaps off the top rope with a high cross on the group.

— Jordynne Grace sits down with Kelly Kincaid for an interview. Grace is without the neck brace, and Kincaid asks how she is feeling about her physical journey to NXT. Grace says Blake Monroe was right in that Grace spent too much time avoiding mirrors. Grace went on to say the real battle is not with her body, but her mind. Grace talks about battling feelings of self-worth.

Grace also talks about feeling like an outsider. She shares the same weakness with Monroe, but Monroe’s is wrapped up in a “designer confidence” where she doesn’t think she is good enough. She projects that on other women. Grace says real strength does not feed on someone else’s weakness. Grace then vows to show Monroe what a champion looks like in their match at Heatwave.

— Monroe is in Ava’s office. Ava informs her of a face-to-face next week with Monroe and Grace.

— Fatal Influence are interviewed backstage by Blake Howard. He asks NXT Women’s/TNA Knockouts Champion Jacy Jayne a question, but Fallon Henley answers instead. Jayne also takes a jab at Jazmyn Nyx for getting them booked in the tag match tonight. Jayne and Henley bicker as Masha Slamovich is seen arriving at the building. Fatal Influence then heads towards the ring for their match.

— NXT Champion Oba Femi, TNA Champion Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans and Moose are in the locker room talking about their tag match later on. Hank and Tank then come into the locker room spraying what is apparently a pesticide. They are ushered out by Robert Stone. That was quite odd.

Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Jacy Jayne with Jazmyn Nyx) vs. Kelani Jordan & Lola Vice

Masha Slamovich is sitting in the audience as the match starts. The tag bout goes through a commercial break. Just before the show cuts to the break, the heels cut off the babyfaces. Nyx helps with a distraction.

Jordan with a hope spot when the show returns from the break, but Jordan is soon cut off. Hot tag to Lola Vice. The heels bump and feed. Vice with hip attacks and a snap suplex for a near fall. Jordan tags in and does slingshots into a springboard guillotine. Moments later, Jordan is slammed off the top rope. Jordan takes stereo strikes from Fatal Influence, albeit if one kick misses badly. Vice jumps in to break up the pin.

Jordan and Jayne run through a series of spots. Everybody gets involved, including Nyx jumping on the apron. Vice kicks Nyx, and she falls into the ring selling the kick. Vice ducks Jayne, and she hits Jayne with a spinning back fist. Jordan follows up with a split-legged moonsault, and Jordan covers the double champion for a pinfall.

Match result: Kelani Jordan & Lola Vice defeat Jacy Jayne & Fallon Henley when Jordan pins Jayne

— Ricky Saints and Jasoer Troy are featured in a video package sponsored by an insurance company. Troy vows to defeat Saints next week in Philly.

— Coming back from a commercial break, Vic Jospeh voices over a plug for bull riding on CW in some cross-promotion with PBR.

Alba Fyre (with Piper Niven) vs. Kendal Grey

NXT North American Champion Ethan Page is seen watching the match on a backstage monitor alongside fellow Canadian Chelsea Green. Page leaves and heads to the ring to watch from ringside. In the match, Fyre pins Grey after a Gory bomb. Fyre rakes Grey’s away just before they go home.

Match result: Alba Fyre defeat Kendal Grey via pinfall

— In a post-match angle, Page cuts a promo. Out comes Tavion Heights to confront Page. Heights says Grey did a good job, but she was not his pick. Height’s pick is the first woman in WWE to win an Olympic gold medal. Heights then introduces Tyra Mae Steele (Tamyra Mensah-Stock) to the audience. Steele sneaks into the ring behind the heels. Steele suplexes both Fyre and Niven. She then gives Page a suplex.

— Fatal Influence is walking to Ava’s office as Jaybe berates her teammates. Once in Ava’s office, Ava announces that Jayne will defend the TNA Knockouts title at NXT Heatwave against Masha Slamovich and Ash By Elegance in a triple threat match. The Personal Concierge of Ash by Elegance is there to cut a promo on Jayne. Ava concludes the skit by announcing a six-woman tag match with Fatal Influence against Elgance Brand next Tuesday in Philly.

— Chelsea Green and the Secret Hervice are backstage with Page. Green is stressing over the Olympians until she has an idea. They are going to sign a peace treaty between the United States and Canada. Page has connections in Parliament, so he can get it done next week in Philly.

Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Moose & Je’Von Evans vs. Darkstate (Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, Saquon Shugars & Cutler James) in a eight-man tag team match

Melee starts the match, but it eventually settles into a traditional eight-man tag. Wild action throughout with so many in the match. Lots of intricate sequences involving multiple people. The bout goes through a commercial break. For the finish, Darkstate wins with the Shield powerbomb.

Match result: Darkstate defeats Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Moose & Je’Von Evans via pinfall

After the match, Hank & Tank run in to brawl with Darkstate. The show goes off air with a melee in the ring.

**********

It’s great! It’s American (mostly)! And someone is sure to get bashed. It’s NXT’s Great American Bash and it starts…

Wait for it…

NOW!

Je’Von Evans vs. Jasper Troy

Noted chains enthusiast, Troy, won LFG Season One and almost dethroned Oba Femi and captured his NXT Title. Evans doesn’t like that Troy is causing chaos in his structured little NXT and is looking to end the threat once and for all.

Troy was pretty much a whole human bigger than Evans, so it wasn’t a shot that off the top, Try began ragdolling him around the ring. Evans was also wrestling with taped ribs, so he wasn’t at 100%. That didn’t stop him from slapping Troy in the face.

Evans’ agility was his greatest weapon against Troy, as he dodges a ringpost and hit a springboard at the big man. Unfortunately, Troy caught him mid air and threw him at the ground. Hard. Both men ended up on the outside, where Troy drove Evans’ back into the ring apron (the hardest part of the ring, and the earliest I’ve ever used that joke).

Troy grabbed Evans by the throat and threw him over the top rope. He then picked him up by said throat and thew him at the barricades. Back in the ring, Troy hit a splash off the ropes on a barely moving Evans. He hit another one for good measure and then put on a devastating chinlock. Yes, even a chinlock from Troy looks devastating.

Evans tried again to go high flying, but once again, Troy caught him and wracked him through a series of backbreakers. The ref checked on Evans, but as soon as he was able, Troy mercilessly attacked him again. Troy locked in an abdominal stretch and topped it off with some elbows to the gut.

Evans found a second wind though and started peppering Troy with shots. That dazed the big man and he fell to one knee. Evans tried to go up top, but his body failed him and the couldn’t make it. Troy did though, and hit a big headbutt from the second rope.

Evans started throwing hands and sent Troy to the corner. He hit s superkick and then tried a German Suplex, but couldn’t get the bigger man over. Evans tried a springboard cutter, but it didn’t land. He went up top but Troy threw him back into the ring. Troy charged, but his momentum took him over the ropes when Evans dodged. Evans dove through the ropes and hit Troy.

Back in the ring, Evans finally got that German Suplex on Troy and punctuated it with a Frog Splash. It only got him a two count. He tried again, but Troy caught him for a choke slam. Troy set him up for abig slam, but Evans wormed his way underneath and rolled up Troy for a quick pin!

Match Result: Je’Von Evans defeated Jasper Troy

Good gracious! Troy is absolutely terrifying. Evans did an amazing job of making him look like the monster he is. I loved Evans’ “never say die” attitude, even when Troy was essentaily killing him. Lopsided matches like this almost always turn into squashes, but these guys told a great story with a fun finish. Excellent kickoff to the Bash!

-The current holder of the Heritage Cup, “Stacks” Lorenzo joined us next to reveal a list of all the people he’d give a shot at the cup to, including Fat Lexis King, Randy Orton’s Kids, Koko B. Ware and Matt Bloom (A-Train). He then spoke to Bloom in the Performance Center, who advised him to keep his head on a swivel. After that, it was revealed that someone had stolen the Cup!

-Next, Sol Ruca and Zaria joined i for an interview. They said all the things the wrestlers say, but what was interesting was the brief interruption of the feed to a skull-faced stranger. It only happened for a second, and Ruca and Zaria did not acknowledge it.

NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca w Zaria vs. Izzi Dame w/Tatum Paxley

This match is all about friendship. Women’s North American and WWE Speed Champion Ruca wanted to be friends with Tatum Paxley, but Paxley decided that she’d rather be friends with The Culling, helping Dame pin Ruca in a tag match, Now Ruca and Dame will go one on one for the Women’s North American Championship, but it’s their friends on the outside who could make the biggest difference.

Right off the bell, Paxley and Zaria got into it, distracting the ref. That allowed Dame to hit a quick powerbomb and pin Ruca. By the time the ref noticed though, Ruca’s foot was on the ropes.

The match began in earnest with Ruca hitting a missile dropkick on Dame, sending her to the outside. She followed with a splash and threw Dame back into the ring for a two count. Ruca had control, but got caught by Dame who hit a bellybuster, leaving Ruca writhing.

Dame sent Ruca off the ropes for a knee to the gut and backbreaker. Ruca tried to fight back, but Dame dropped her and set her up for a knee to the back and crab submission. Ruca powered out and got some momentum, but Dame hit a big boot the face and tried a quick pin for two.

The crowd was solidly behind Ruca, who started throwing elbows at Dame. Ruca hit a backstabber and Dame rolled out of the ring. Ruca followed via moonsault, but it was hard to tell who got more hurt in the move.

Back in the ring, Ruca hit a springboard clothesline off the top rope and set Dame up on the ringpost. Dame shoved her off and hit a missile dropkick, knocking Ruca onto her back. The two stood and traded shots in the middle of the ring.

Ruca set Dame up on the ringpost and hit an X-Factor from the top rope. She tried it again, but Dame caught her by the throat and hit a big chokeslam in the middle of the ring. Dame climbed up and tried a splash from the second rope but Ruca met her with a kick instead.

Ruca fired up and hit a huge spear, but Dame got her foot on the rope during the pin. By that I mean, Paxley put it there. Zaria speared Paxley on the outside and Ruca hit a big cutter in the ring to get the 1-2-3 and retain her Women’s North American Title.

Match Result: Sol Ruca defeated Izzi Dame

That was a fun match. It lacked a little of the intensity of the first bout, but the crowd was way into it and that made it a ton of fun to watch.

-Next, a promo for Lola Vice played, touting her victory in AAA last night. From there, Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe were shown warming up for their match, before a hype package for Saints vs Page aired.

Falls Count Anywhere Match: NXT North American Champion Ethan Page vs. Ricky Saints

The latest chapter in this long-running feud is sure to be brutal. Page took the NXT North American Championship from Saints in May and then injured him, putting him out of action for months. Now that Saints is back, revenge is on his mind as well as reclaiming the NXT North American title.

Saint’s jumped Page as the bell rang, sending him to the outside right away. He grabbed a Kendo stick from under the ring and peppered Page with shots to the back. Page grabbed a trash can lid and hit Saints, following him up into the crowd.

They battled in the aisles and the crowd chanted for Saints. Saints sent Page into the concession area where he hit him with a garbage can. Page responded by driving Saints into a pillar and locking in a boston crab. Page went for an Ego’s Edge, but Saints wriggled out and sent him face first into that pillar.

PAge charged and Saints caught him and put him through a WWE Merch table. Saints went for the cover, but only got a two. Moving back out into the crowd by the entrance ramp, Page sent Saints into the steel ring steps and grabbed a chair. He hit Saints with it and wrapped it around his neck before sending him into the ringpost.

Page threw a bunch of chairs into the ring, pausing to swing at Saints. Saints dodged though and page hit the barricade. Saints then blasted him with a fire extinguisher and stripped the banner from the steel guardrail, which he then threw on top of Page. Saints grabbed a chair of his own and delivered a shot before tossing it and the barricade into the ring.

Saints stomped Page’s head on the ring apron (the ego-est part of the ring!) and dragged him inside. Saints picked up Page and racked him on the turnbuckle, but Saints fought back and slammed Page’s head into a chair.

Saints then set up two chairs in the middle of the ring, back to back. He then suplexed Page onto the chairs, followed by another suplex onto the barricade in the corner. Somehow, Page kicked out at two.

Saints upped the ante by setting up four chairs, front to front. Page followed him up the to the top rope where they fought until he was able to Powerbomb Page onto the chairs!

Page bailed trying to escape to the back, but Saints followed, and the two battled in the green room, using a couch, a flip-flop and a sewing machine. Suddenly, Jasper Troy appeared and slammed Saints onto a road case!

Page dragged Saints back to the ring and belted him with a chair. Saints punched back and back body dropped Page onto the entrance ramp. From there, Saints hit a tornado DDT and got a two count. The two fought along the LED board, and Page hit an Ego’s Edge on Saints, throwing him off the ramp and through two tables!

Page scurried down and got the pin, winning the match and retaining his North American Title!

Match Result: Ethan Page defeated Ricky Saints

That was a killer match with all the best things that a Falls Count Anywhere stipulation can bring. Weapons, huge spots and a flip-flop. It’ll be interesting to see if Jasper Troy had a reason for interfering, or if he was just annoyed that the match interrupted his feeding time, which I assume is mostly raw meat.

-Next, it was announced that the next NXT PLE will be Heatwave, on Sunday August 24th.

TNA World Championship Contract Signing

Of all the wrestling tropes out there, my least favorite is the dreaded “Contract Signing.” These segments are rarely different from one another, “Promo, promo, signed paper, overturned table, brawl, signed paper, fight.” But I guess legally speaking, papers have to be signed, so let’s get on with it.

Trick Williams will defend the TNA World Title at Slammiversary against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana in a Triple Threat Match. The Hendry and Santana want the title back in TNA, and will sign any papers they have to in order to get that done.

NXT GM Ava started the proceedings by introducing the participants, starting with Santana. Hendry followed to a great ovation and then Trick Williams came down with the TNA Title. Booker T called Hendry the “Brett Farve of wrestling” which tells me that Booker does not pay attention to football (or fraud cases).

Santana grabbed a mic and talked about how being in a WWE ring as a TNA wrestler means something to him, but the TNA title belongs in TNA. He called Williams soft and talked about respecting Hendry, but at the end of the day, Hendry is standing in Santana’s way. He then signed the contract.

Hendry spoke next, saying that he respects Santana as well, but Hendry is the one who should being the TNA title back and take TNA to the next level. He turned to Williams and warned him that he will make him believe in Joe Hendry. He then signed the contract.

Williams then said he didn’t want to ruin the moment for Hendry and Santana, but they need to put some respect on his name. Williams said that he’s the one with the stroke around NXT and TNA (I’m pretty sure no one but wrestlers use “stroke” like that).

Williams said that he doesn’t need help to defend the title and would kick both of their butts. He then signed the contract.

Wait, what’s this!? Hendry and Santana pushed their chairs back and jumped Williams, putting him through the table! What a shocking and unexpected outcome!!

-Any way, a promo for Saturday Night’s Main Event played next, but was interrupted by that masked faction, DarkState, who entered the ring and beat up Hendry and Santana who were still in the ring for some reason!

-Next a promo from Tony d’Angelo aired, revealing that he was the one who stole the Heritage Cup from Stacks! He tossed it off of a bridge and promised to win their “final” battle on Tuesday.

NXT Champion Oba Femi vs. Yoshiki Inamura w/Josh Briggs

The NXT Title could be headed to Japan! Inamura has made his bones in Pro Wrestling Noah and If he’s able to defeat Femi here, he would become the first non-WWE person to win the NXT Championship. Femi however has dominated NXT since he debuted and his winning of the NXT Championship was pretty much only a matter of time. Inamura will have his work cut out for him.

The crowd was chanting OBA before the match even started, but once the bell rang it was clear that these two were pretty evenly matched in size and power. They locked up and Femi got the advantage with a shoulder block. Inamura moved on to a wrist lock, but Femi overpowered it. The two remained locked in a test of strength that Femi eventually won.

Femi picked Inamura up for a suplex which just energized Inamura. He charged Femi and drove him to the mat with a shoulder, followed by a big elbow. Inamura went to the top rope, but Femi rolled out of the ring, drawing Inamura down for Femi to hoist him on his shoulders.

Inamura broke free though, and dove on Femi on the outside. Back in the ring, he picked up Femi for a spinning slam. Femi responded with a slam of his own, but neither man could get more than a two count.

Femi began to take charge, tossing Inamura around the ring. He put Inamura in a back stretch over his knee, but Inamura was able to power out and counter the hold into a body slam. Femi hit a spinebuster in response. Working the body, Femi tried to get Imanura up for a suplex, but Inamura blocked it and delivered on of his own to Femi.

Inamura started delivering chops to Femi, utilizing his strong style strikes. Inamura hit another German Suplex on Femi, but only a two count. Inamura went to the top rope, but Femi dodged his dive, sending him into the ref in the corner. That allowed Briggs to hit Femi with the NXT title.

Inamura went up top, but Briggs tried to get him to make a pin. IN the confusion, Femi staggered to his feet and Inamura hit a big splash from the top rope. However, the ref was still down, so there was noone to count the pin.

Briggs tried to put the ref back in, which allowed Femi to recover and hit a choke slam. The pin was only for two though as Inamura kicked out. The big men went back to striking and punches and chops flew everywhere.

Inamura hit a modified Blue Thunder Bomb, but that only got him a modified two count. Briggs got up on the apron, but Femi wasn’t distracted and hit a pop up powerbomb to get the 1-2-3 and retain the NXT Title.

Match Result: Oba Femi defeated Yoshiki Inamura

That was a lot of big men slapping the meat! I love these slobberknockers as a certain Oklahoman used to say and Imanura kept up with the dominant Femi the whole way. I could have done without the Briggs interference, but it was still a fun title match.

-Backstage, Trick Williams asked GM Ava to do something about him getting jumped by Hendry and Santana. Ava said that DarkState got his revenge and then made the match Williams, Hendry and Santana vs DarkState on Tuesday.

-Oba Femi was interviewed in the back and he was joined be Inamura. They exchanged respect and Inamura apologized for Briggs’ interference. Briggs arrived and a pull apart broke out.

Jordynne Grace & Blake Monroe vs. Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley) w/ Jazmyn Nyx

Monroe’s arrival in NXT threw the women’s division into chaos and resulted in Fatal Influence putting her through a table. Grace is the number one contender for Jayne’s NXT Women’s Title, and just hours before Evolution, Fatal Influence will be looking to make an impact on the division and the faces of Grace and Monroe.

Grace and Henley kicked things off, with Grace having the obvious strength advantage. She sent Henley into the corner and after some shots hit a big spinning slam. Henley tagged in Jayne and the two traded schoolboy attempts.

Grace then tagged in Monroe in her first ever WWE/NXT match. She and Jayne locked up and traded armbreakers. Monroe dodged a senton from Jayne who rolled over and tagged Henley back in. Monroe sent her to the corner and Grace tagged in. Using Monroe as a weapon, Grace scooped her up and dropped her on Henley.

Now isolated, Henley struggled against Monroe and Grace in the corner. Monroe, the legal woman, hit a spinning slam in the middle of the ring followed by a rollup. Jayne distracted the ref and Nyx jumped in to break up the pin and give a shot to Monroe.

Now Monroe found herself isolated as Jayne and Henley tagged in and out, working her over. Monroe dodged a double team though and got a hot tag to Grace who cleaned house until Jayne got a foot in her stomach. Henley arrived for a double team, but Grace shrugged them both off, sending them to the outside.

Jayne lured Grace to the outside and delivered a huge kick as Grace rounded a corner. Tossing her back into the ring, Henley and Jayne suplexed Grace, but it only resulted in a two count. Jayne pounced on a dazed Grace and hit a big elbow and a kick square to the face.

Henley rejoined the fray and hit Grace with a back elbow off the ropes. Jayne and Henley tagged in and out, delivering shots and kicks to Grace in the corner, targeting the arms. Grace fought back, overpowering Henley into a Death Valley Driver. A hot tag was made to Monroe to took out Henley and Jayne.

Jayne tried to go up top, but Monroe got her with a head scissors and brought her back down to earth. Monroe fought Jayne on the ring apron (the most glamourous part of the ring!) and tried a power bomb, but Nyx stopped her and Jayne dragged Monroe back into ring.

Henley tagged in and hit a blockbuster on Monroe for a two-count. Monroe delivered a big headbutt to Henley and fell back into a tag from Grace. Grace worked Henley over, tossing her onto the entrance ramp. They traded shots until Henley speared Grace through the ropes back into the ring.

Jayne and Monroe tagged in and traded stiff shots. Jayne sent Monroe intot he corner, but Monroe dodged and hit a German Suplex on Jayne. Monroe went to the top rope, but Nyx managed to push her off. Suddenly Masha Slammovich appeared and took out Nyx!

All four women brawled in the ring, the Ref unable to keep control. Henley sent Grace to the outside and in the ring, Monroe at a high kick from Jayne. Grace popped up and hit a back fist on Jayne, knocking her cold and allowing Monroe to get the pin!

Match Result: Jordynne Grace & Blake Monroe defeated Fatal Influence

A fun match that was worthy of being the Main Event. Loved the Slammovich cameo and thought that all involved worked really well together! Evolution should be great tomorrow, but before that, it’s Saturday Night’s Main Event!

WWE NXT notes: Undertaker, LFG talent, Meta-Four split

The Undertaker was on this week’s NXT.

While Oba Femi was talking about Trick Williams and other potential challengers for his NXT Championship, the Undertaker walked in and told Femi that NXT was his yard for now, but his guys from LFG are going to be coming for it very soon. Shiloh Hill, Anthony Luke, and Jasper Troy walked in. Femi told Undertaker he was looking forward to the challenge.

Undertaker has been a judge and mentor on the first season of LFG along with Mickie James, Booker T, and Bubba Ray Dudley. He appeared at the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania weekend, inducting his wife Michelle McCool. Last month, it was announced that LFG would be renewed for a second season with McCool being added as a coach.

Earlier in the show, Meta-Four officially reunited following Noam Dar’s surprise return last week, winning back the Heritage Cup trophy. Lash Legend, however, shared her feelings on the reunion saying she felt it was time for Oro Mensah to do his own thing on Evolve and for Jakara Jackson to branch out and do her own thing. Dar agreed, ending the segment with a group hug.

The group first formed back in 2023, helping Dar win and keep the Hertiage Cup. However the group largely went their seperate ways after Dar suffered a leg injury in 2024, keeping him out of action for the rest of the year. Mensah feuded with Ethan Page while Jackson & Legend continued as a tag team.

Joe Hendry returns to WWE NXT, confronts Oba Femi & Trick Williams

Joe Hendry has appeared once again in NXT.

Trick Williams was in the ring demanding a one-on-one match with Oba Femi when Hendry made a surprise appearance. The TNA Champion addressed Williams, saying he’s changed from the man he tagged with last year. Williams said he wasn’t the one that lost to Orton at WrestleMania. Hendry shot back that at least he wrestled at WrestleMania, and that he wouldn’t lose at Rebellion this Sunday.

Hendry told Femi that after Rebellion he has business with the NXT Champion. An angry Williams confronted both men, leading both champions to lay out Williams to end the segment. Backstage, Williams threw a fit and trashed the area, causing GM Ava to throw him out of the building.

At WrestleMania 41 Sunday Hendry made a surprise appearance, challenging Randy Orton who had no opponent after Kevin Owens became sidelined with a neck injury. Hendry was pinned in short order and after the match took another RKO from Orton.

Hendry is set to defend the TNA title against Frankie Kazarian and NXT star Ethan Page this Sunday.

WWE NXT Stand & Deliver live results: Oba Femi vs. Trick Williams vs. Je’Von Evans

WWE’s takeover of Las Vegas for WrestleMania 41 weekend continues with Saturday’s NXT Stand & Deliver from the T-Mobile Arena.

Oba Femi defends his NXT title against Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans in a triple threat while NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer defends in a four-way against Giulia, Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker.

NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints defends against Ethan Page while the vacant Women’s North American title will be decided in a six-way ladder match with Zaria, Kelani Jordan, Sol Ruca, Izzi Dame, Lola Vice, and Thea Hail.

In a trios bout, Tony D’Angelo’s Family will battle DarkState while Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade, Meta-Four (Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson), Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Jacy Jayne), and Gigi Dolin & Tatum Paxley will compete for a WWE Women’s Tag Team title shot.

– Reporting live from Las Vegas’s T-Mobile Arena, our hosts were Sam Roberts and Megan Morant, who talked about the card for today’s show. We then got a hype package for the NXT Women’s Championship fatal four-way match, followed by our two hosts discussing the match.

– An interview with Jordynne Grace was shown where she talked about her journey to WWE, including a time where she was called in to WWE over a decade ago for a backstage segment where she got switched away from camera view. We then got footage of her time in TNA Wrestling as Grace explained what it meant to become “The Juggernaut”. Grace talked about her chances in the fatal four-way match and how she bet on herself to get to this opportunity.

– The Family was shown backstage strategizing ahead of their six-man tag match versus DarkState. Tony D’Angelo reassured Stacks Lorenzo that they’d take care of this as a family as the two shared an embrace.

– Je’von Evans was interviewed by Vic Joseph ahead of his NXT Championship Triple Threat match against Trick Williams and champion Oba Femi on today’s show.

– The ladder match for the NXT Women’s North American Championship was previewed next, with clips of Sol Ruca preparing for the match on her Instagram being shown.

– Hank and Tank were interviewed earlier this week about their NXT Tag Team Championship match against FrAxiom. Following this, our two esteemed hosts were joined by NXT GM Ava, who talked about the matches ahead of us tonight.

Fatal Four-Way Tag Match: Meta-Four (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson) vs. Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne) vs. Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin vs. Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade

The winner of this will be the No. 1 contenders for WWE Women’s Tag Champions Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez (or Lyra Valkyria and Bayley, pending the result of the WWE Women’s Tag Title match on WrestleMania 41 Sunday).

Legend and Perez got things going as the Meta-Four’s powerhouse looked to use her strength early on to her advantage. Jade grabbed Legend in the corner, which allowed her partner to briefly take advantage before Gigi Dolin was tagged in. Jakara Jackson entered the match and mixed it up with Dolin as Perez was then tagged in afterwards.

Things began to pen up as Paxley and Legend entered as the legal competitors in the match. Powerbomb attempt by Legend led to a tag by Jackson as the Meta-Four duo hit a nice assisted powerbomb. We then got all the teams entering the ring as they began to brawl to the wild cheers of everyone. Perez looked to leap, but Legend pulled her out. A series of dives from Paxley, Henley, and Dolin then made things quite exciting. Jade then had her turn with a dive onto a pile of humanity as Jackson leapt over the referee onto everyone at ringside.

As things cooled down, the Fatal Influence duo hit a double bulldog for the near fall. At ringside, Cora Jade planted Jakara Jackson with a DDT, as Perez hit an impressive counter of a chokeslam into a Pop Rox to score the first elimination.

Meta-Four has been eliminated

Jayne hit a neckbreaker on Jade to open things up as Perez decided to walk out on her partner, which left Jade alone. This made her open pickings for a nice double-team pin by Paxley and Dolin to eliminate Jade and Perez.

Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez have been eliminated

Fatal Influence used a ruthless double team attack to take advantage for a bit, but Henley found herself trapped into a unique double team submission by Paxley and Dolin, but Jayne broke it up with a superkick to Paxley. Jayne and Henley hit a double superplex on Dolin as Paxley wanted to get a tag. She got taken out. Jayne absolutely blasted Dolin with a running knee strike, but Paxley made the save at the very last second.

Fatal Influence looked to use the numbers game to get a cheap pin, but Dolin kicked out. The finish would then come with the Cemetary Drive finisher on Jayne, which gave Dolin and Paxley the victory.

Match Result: Gigi Dolin & Tatum Paxley def. Fatal Influence, Meta-Four, and Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez via pinfall

That was a good way to kick things off and get the crowd pumped for some early afternoon (or morning in Las Vegas time) wrestling. Roxanne walking out on her partner should lead to a match down the line.

Stand & Deliver 2024

– Following the cold open, we were welcomed to the show proper by the commentary team of Vic Joseph, Booker T, and Corey Graves.

NXT North American Championship: Ricky Saints (c) vs. Ethan Page

Saints and Page kicked it off with some brawling outside the ring as neither man could get a clear advantage early on. Saints eventually took control he battered Page with turnbuckle smashes and a chop to the chest. He tightrope walked across the top rope as he then came down with a clothesline on Page. “All Ego” regained the advantage as he slammed Saints across the apron, which sent him crashing to the mat outside the ring.

Page pummeled Saints with punches to the face as he asserted command of the match by targeting the back of the North American Champion. Page dropped his champion foe with a suplex, which got a two count. Saints recovered but fell victim to a sidewalk slam by Page for another near-fall. A suplex attempt by Page was reversed into a swinging neckbreaker by Saints, which again brought the battle to the ringside area briefly.

Saints attempted to leap from the apron, but Page dodged it and instead sent Saints plummeting right into the announce table, knee-first. Page dragged Saints back into the ring and targeted the lower back with a Boston Crab submission hold. Saints’ fortitude and refusal to give up allowed him to make it to the bottom rope to break Page’s submisssion. Page threw Saints across the top rope with a back drop, which further hurt the champion’s back. Page’s momentum was then slowed down by a springboard tornado DDT by Saints.

Saints mounted a comeback with a powerful spinebuster followed by the Michinoku driver, but that couldn’t get the job done. Page slapped Saints in the corner and pulled him up for a popup Powerslam for a close two. Saints flattened Page with a reverse DDT as he then headed up to the top turnbuckle. Page woke up and stopped him and looked for a move of some sort. Saints wriggled out of the way and turned it into a powerbomb. 1, 2… Page kicked out.

Page countered Saints’ spear into a codebreaker, as he then connected with Ego’s Edge. Saints managed to kicked out at 2.9999999 to keep his title for the time being. Saints woke up and countered a Page clothesline with a spear, as he then put an end to this match with the Roshambo.

Match Result: Ricky Saints def. Ethan Page to retain the NXT North American Championship via pinfall

A nice clean win for Ricky Saints to establish his North American title reign early and this match was a great way to kick off the PPV proper. I enjoyed this a lot.

NXT Tag Team Championship: FrAxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom) vs. Hank & Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger)

Axiom and Hank kicked it off for their respective teams, with neither man getting a clear advantage. Axiom eventually hit a dropkick on Hank, which allowed Frazer to tag into the match. FrAxiom connected with a nice double team kick on Hank. Frazer used his speed to control the match, but Tank entered the match as he and Hank got in their own tandem offense on Frazer.

The exuberant challengers couldn’t keep control of the match for long as a tag to Axiom by Frazer helped to quicken the pace to the NXT Tag Champions’ liking. Axiom worked over Hank in the corner as he then struck him with a running dropkick for the two. Axiom kept hitting Hank with cocky kicks, which only served to fire him up. Hank crushed Axiom with a lariat as Frazer ran into battle with a charging forearm, followed by a standing shooting star press for a near fall.

FrAxiom used submissions to keep Hank isolated briefly, but the big man managed to create separation, which allowed for Tank to get himself a hot tag. Tank Ledger made like his namesake and barreled through Frazer and Axiom in the hopes of turning this match around for his team. An attempt at a double team by Hank and Tank was stopped by a Golden Ratio kick to Tank by Axiom. Hank kicked out at two after Frazer rolled him up.

We got an amazing assisted hurricanrana spot from the apron as Frazer and Axiom teamed up on this to send Hank to the outside. FrAxiom flew with consecutive splashes onto Hank Walker, but the challenger refused to go down quietly. Hank caught Frazer with a wheelbarrow bomb, but Axiom broke up the count. On the top rope, diving clothesline by Hank was followed by a wonderful double team move from the challengers, but Frazer kicked out at 2.

Hank looked like he was about to dive onto FrAxiom outside the ring, but the NXT Tag Champions avoided chaos, which sent Hank crashing onto the announce table with nobody home. This left Tank isolated for a double team high and low kick from FrAxiom, but the challenger would not let this opportunity at gold slip by.

Axiom delivered the avalanche Spanish Fly, followed by Frazer’s Phoenix Splash on Tank. 1… 2… Hank Walker came back from the dead to break up the count to a huge ovation. With things now quickening, Hank hit a super Black Hole Slam on Frazer, as Tank took Axiom out of the equation with a dive to the outside. Hank and Tank now had Frazer dead to rights for the double belly crush, followed by their finishing spear/powerslam combo for the one, two, three and we have new NXT Tag Team Champions.

After the match, the new NXT Tag Champs and the former champs showed respect for a hell of a match.

Match Result: Hank & Tank def. FrAxiom to win the NXT Tag Team Championship via pinfall

That was one heck of a tag match. FrAxiom’s tag title defenses were always a highlight of covering these NXT PLEs, and this last one was as good as those aforementioned matches. It’s also especially nice to see a team like Hank and Tank to get a big moment like this on such a huge weekend.

– Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviewed Penn Jillette of the famed magic duo Penn & Teller. Lexis King interrupted the interview to brag about the NXT Heritage Cup as Penn got King to put his trophy inside a a cage. Once the curtain was pulled down, Teller appeared in place of the Heritage Cup. Teller was wearing a Jey Uso “YEET” shirt as he did the YEET taunt to end the segment.

NXT Women’s North American Championship Ladder Match: Zaria vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Sol Ruca vs. Izzi Dame vs. Lola Vice vs. Thea Hail

As the bell rang, all the competitors begna brawling with one another, with separate battles happening all around the ringside area. In trhe ring, Ruca and Jordan were mixing it up. Outside the ring, Dame sent Zaria crashing into the steel steps with a push of the ladder. Ruca set up another ladder in an attempt to climb up, but Hail stopped her at the pass. Vice stopped Hail from ascending the ladder, but Jordan met her.

Zaria re-entered the match with a double spear on Jordan and Hail, followed by another spear to Dame. Zaria proceed to use the ladder as a battering ram as she swung it to strike down everyone until Dame stopped her dead in her tracks. Powerbomb onto a ladder by Dame kept Zaria grounded. Guillotine leg drop by Jordan took Vice out of the match for the moment. Jordan then leapt from the apron to take down both Hail and Ruca at ringside.

Jordan was in full control as she dropped Dame onto the ladder with a leg drop, followed by the split-legged moonsault on Zaria right on the ladder. This left Jordan all alone to grab the Women’s North American Title, at least until Vice stopped her. Ruca then attempted to stop her, but couldn’t get any success on that try. Hail found herself equally unsuccessful in stemming Vice’s tide, as did Dame. Ruca eventually recovered as an attempted backfist caused Vice to make contact with the ladder instead after Ruca dodged it.

On the middle of the ladder, Dame took out Ruca with a sitdown powerbomb. Dame’s ascent was stopped by Hail, who then hit a slam on Vice right across the ladder. Hail then caught Jordan and hit an exploder suplex right on a ladder that was set up on the corner. Hail appeared to be close to getting the title, but Dame pulled the ladder away at the last second.

The Culling appeared at ringside as Zaria tipped over the ladder, which sent Hail flying right into Shawn Spears’ faction in a really cool spot. Now it was Zaria who found herself all by her lonesome, until Jordan rolled back in to stop her from getting anywhere far. Ruca saved her tag partner from getting crushed by Jordan’s ladder assault. A ladder tag of war between Ruca and Jordan led to a ladder bridge being made.

Vice stopped Zaria from climbing with a chokehold submission, which slowed the advance and sent both women lying flat on the ladder bridge. Jordan took off from the top rope and hit a splash on Vice. Her climb was intercepted by Ruca, who springboarded onto the ladder. Zaria took Jordan out of the equation as she threw her right onto the Culling and group

The tag partners were up on the top rope and faced each other as they came to a bit of an agreement before coming to blows, acknowledging the fact that they’d be facing off. Ruca used an impressive level of strength to get herself up the top. Izzi Dame attempted to stop her before she could get far.

Ruca then went wild with a leaping Sol Snatcher from the middle of the ladder on Dame, followed by a double Sol Snatcher on Hail and Vice. This now left her all alone to retrieve the Women’s North American Championship to win the vacant title.

Match Result: Sol Ruca wins the Women’s North American Championship in the Ladder Match

As great as a ladder match can be. Some really fun spots throughout and it’s always good seeing NXT’s women’s division show up and show out. The closing moments did its job in making Sol Ruca look like a million bucks and did it quite well. Kudos.

– Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin were interviewed about their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship matches on Tuesday’s show.

Six-Man Tag Match: The D’Angelo Family (Tony D’Angelo, Luca Cruisifino, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo) vs. DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, and/or Osiris Griffin)

We didn’t have to wait long as the Family went after DarkState just as they entered for the mach. D’Angelo found himself surrounded by the DarkState group, but he refused to go down. Stacks and Cruisifino eventually entered to even the odds as the match officially started.

Cruisfino tried for a leap from the corner, but Griffin cut him off with an elbow that sent him falling to the outside. Lennox launched a rampage on Cruisifino outside with repeated strikes before the action returned to the ring with DarkState in clear control for the time being. Saquon Shugars entered the match and found himself dropped by a Cruisifino deadlift powerbomb which allowed for a tag to Stacks, much to Tony’s confusion as he was busy with dealing with Cutler James outside the ring.

Stacks had DarkState backed against the wall, until Griffin pounced him right into the timekeeper area. Griffin continued to dominate against Stacks as Lennox was tagged in. In the Family’s corner, Tony D’Angelo didn’t seem concerned as Stacks was getting isolated by DarkState. Stacks eventually created separation with a running knee as D’Angelo entered the match with the hot tag. D’Angelo cleared out the ring of DarkState as Cruisfino stepped in to even the odds.

Griffin and Lennox hit successive slams on D’Angelo as Shugars was tagged in and the DarkState trio hit their assisted triple powerbomb. That wasn’t enough as Stacks and Cruisifino broke up the count. We then got a standoff with the Family and DarkState, followed by the donnybrook. Cutler James pulled Cruisifino out and slammed him against the ringpost, but Adrianna Rizzo took him out with a dive to the top.

Stacks introduced crowbars to the match, but D’Angelo didn’t want to win it that way. Shugars sent Stacks onto D’Angelo as he and his DarkState peers looked to have this match won. A Spear by D’Angelo saved Stacks from certain calamity.

In the ring, Stacks almost struck D’Angelo with the crowbar as the referee was distracted, but he hit Shugars instead. The two Family members shared an embrace as Tony turned his back. Stacks gave the crowbar to the referee, but he then kicked D’Angelo in the groin from behind, which gave DarkState the opportunity to shut it down with their assisted powerbomb finisher.

Match Result: DarkState def. The Family via pinfall

A sleeper hit of a match with the drama of the Family’s trust issues on full display, helping drive the story of this match forward. DarkState as a group appears to have cleared the hurdles that previous WWE attempts at a “takeover” faction like The Nexus and Retribution were plagued with by being booked so strongly. Stacks’ betrayal of Tony D’Angelo should lead to an interesting feud moving forward.

– Hank and Tank were interviewed regarding their NXT Tag Team Championship victory backstage.

Fatal Four-Way Match for NXT Women’s Championship: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Jaida Parker vs. Giulia vs. Jordynne Grace

Giulia and Vaquer faced off, but were pulled aside by Parker and Grace. We eventually ended up with Giulia and Grace in the ring when the dust settled. Grace had control early before Vaquer and Parker entered the scuffle. Parker held Giulia and Vaquer with a double sleeper, but Vaquer and Giulia fought out and took down Parker with a brief display of teamwork.

Grace tried to step in, but got taken down by Giulia and Vaquer, who eventually got their chance for a scuffle. Parker pulled Giulia out of the ring, but Grace grounded her which led to “The Juggernaut” taking on Vaquer in the ring. Grace used her strength to block Vaquer’s springboarding attempts, as she followed that with an attempted slam. Vaquer responded with a belly-to-back suplex to Grace as Parker brought herself into. Giulia teed off on Parker against the ropes with repeated strikes and chops. Running knee by Giulia brought Parker down, but not enough for the three. Parker fought of a Giulia hold and threw her out of the ring as Vaquer began to fight Parker in the ring.

Parker used her strength to keep Vaquer on the backfoot as she tried for a move of some kind in the corner. Vaquer escaped and looked for a superplex. Giulia joined in, as Grace then entered for as we got a Doomsday Blockbuster courtesy of Parker and Grace on Giulia and Vaquer. With Grace’s head trapped between the legs, Vaquer wanted to hit her trademark headscissors pounding, but Grace used her strength to lift her up for a slam instead.

With the action heating up, Grace threw both Parker and Giulia for a German Suplex while Parker had Giulia in a Northern Lights suplex position. Giulia stunned Vaquer with the Arrivederci knee, as Parker tried to enter the madness. Grace went up top, but got sent down by Giulia, who then floored her with a dropkick. Once again, Vaquer faced off with Giulia and began to trade strikes with her rival. This eventually led to a headbutt duel that Giulia won out on. Giulia, however, found herself trapped in the headscissors pound spot, but she escaped and stomped Vaquer’s head in instead.

Parker rolled in and hit a Samoan Drop on Giulia as she then placed her and Grace across the middle rope. Parker lifted Vaquer and then stacked her onto Grace and Giulia, which led to a massive hip drop on the three prone competitors. Parker tried to lock Grace onto a submission, but Giulia caught her in the Octopus, while Vaquer had Grace locked into a submission of her own.

Vaquer caught Parker and Grace on opposite corners with running meteoras as she then hit the dragon screw on Giulia right across the top rope. This left Giulia open for the “Devil’s Kiss” (Vaquer’s headscissors pounding attack) from Vaquer. This led to Parker and Grace also falling victim to the Devil’s Kiss, much to the delight of the crowd.

Vaquer attempted the SVB, but Giulia countered that into a backslide pin. Grace snuck up on Giulia and hit Beast Mode, but she got taken out by Parker. Hipnotic by Parker onto Giulia, but Vaquer broke up the pin with a moonsault. Vaquer then brought an end to this match with the SVB on Parker as she retained her NXT Women’s Championship in a heck of a bout.

Match Result: Stephanie Vaquer (c) def. Jaida Parker, Giulia, and Jordynne Grace to retain the NXT Women’s Championship via pinfall

Incredible four-way match as we once again got sampling of how stacked NXT’s women’s division is with four very talented women getting their chance to shine. This one is certainly in the running for my match of the PLE.

**********

– Lexis King was backstage looking for his missing Heritage Cup. Elsewhere, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo was seen leaving the arena, as Luca Cruisifino asked him about his betrayal. Stacks said that he’d explain everything later and told Cruisifino that he’d see him on Tuesday.

Triple Threat Match for NXT Championship: Oba Femi (c) vs. Trick Williams vs. Je’von Evans

Evans looked to hit the double OG Cutter early, but got caught by Williams and Femi as we got underway here. The NXT Champion was taken out by a dropkick from Evans, which led to a faceoff between the 20 year-old Evans and Williams. Evans looked good as he outfoxed Williams at every turn with impressive dodges of Williams’ moves. Double down from Williams and Evans led to the two kipping right back up.

Femi stepped back in and lifted both Williams and Evans up for a double Samoan Drop with an impressive show of dominating strength. Femi lifted Evans up for a shoulderbreaker, followed by hitting a gutbuster on Williams for a two-count. Williams recovered and tried to knock Femi down, but couldn’t get it done. Evans leapt back into action with a springboard clothesline, as he then trashtalked Femi afterwards. In the corner, Williams teed up Femi for punches as Evans tried for a Doomsday Device, but Williams dodged at the last second and attemptted to roll up Femi to no avail.

Jumping neckbreaker by Williams managed to keep Femi down and out. We got a massive spot where Evans’ attempts at a dive was intercept by Williams, who threw himself onto Evans after he stepped over Femi. The three competitors brawled it out in the corner as Femi was sent outside by Evans. On the apron, Evans reversed an apron bomb to send Femi into the side of the apron. Williams soared high and took out both Femi and Evans with a dive. Evans launched himself from the bottom rope with a springboard moonsault by Evans.

In the ring, Evans continued to show some incredible agility against the former NXT Champion Trick Williams. As Femi stepped into the ring, Evans once again took to the skies with a dive onto both Femi and Williams. Femi got taken down with a bodyslam by Williams as we then got a standoff in the corner. Femi recovered and hoisted Williams up on his shoulders as Evans joined in on the tower of doom superplex.

With all three men back up, we got Williams, Femi, and Evans laying it in on one another before Femi dropped Williams and Evans with a double spinebuster. Williams stopped Femi’s advances with a jumping kick, as he was then blasted by Evans’ unique rebound Enzuigiri. Up the top rope, Evans leapt up and tried for the splash, but got caught by Femi, who tried for a chokeslam. Femi got countered into a cutter by Evans for the close 2.999999 count.

Femi intercepted Evans’ dive with a punch, as Williams pulled him out of the ring to stop the count. Evans hoisted Femi up for a slamp as he followed that with the OG Cutter. 1… 2… Femi just kicked out at 2! Outside the ring, Williams knocked out the referee, which led to Evans leaping outside to take him out. Fall From Grace countered by Evans,, as the action exploded to the outside. And speaking of exploded, Femi threw Evans rightinot the barricade to smash it apart. Seconds later, Femi was thrown through the announce table by Williams.

Inside the ring, Williams blasted Evans with the Trick Shot knee. Femi tried to stop the referee from breaking the count, but the ref kicked Femi aside to proceed with the count. Evans kicked out at two. As things broke down, Evans hit his OG double cutter on Williams and Femi. Seconds later, Evans was taken down by Williams’ Trick Shot Knee. Femi got back up and dropped Williams with a Fall From Grace powerbomb onto the downed Evans. Finally, Femi finished things off with a Fall From Grace on Evans. And that’s it, over. Oba Femi retained his NXT Championship in the Stand & Deliver Main Event.

Match Result: Oba Femi def. Je’von Evans & Trick Williams to retain the NXT Championship via pinfall

**********

Incredibly high-stakes main event to close out Stand & Deliver. All three competitors got their chance to shine, but the standout by far was Je’von Evans. Even in defeat, he looked fantastic as ever and I think we’re destined to see him become better and better as his career continues on.

All in all, another solid Stand & Deliver show that shows how great the action is on Tuesday nights. Everyone on the card was motivated to put on an entertaining event and we got that in spades. While the tag title match and the women’s fatal four-way matches were my overall favorites, there wasn’t a bad match on the evening and I was entertained from start to finish by NXT’s latest PLE event.

WWE NXT live results: DarkState debuts

A new faction is set to make their official in-ring debut on WWE NXT tonight.

DarkState will have their first televised match, taking on Oba Femi, Trick Williams & Je’Von Evans in a six-man tag. The group consists of Dion Lennox, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin & Cutler James, but we don’t know which three will be competing tonight. They have been wreaking havoc across NXT since debuting at Vengeance Day.

NXT Stand & Deliver is now less than two weeks away — and Femi, Williams, and Evans will be facing off in a triple threat match for the NXT Championship at the WrestleMania weekend event. We’ll see if they’re able to get on the same page for this six-man tag.

A match between Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker is also set for tonight. The result could help determine who challenges NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer at Stand & Deliver. After being crowned a double champion, Vaquer decided to relinquish the NXT Women’s North American title. But that decision came with the condition that Vaquer would be able to choose her NXT Women’s Championship challenger for Stand & Deliver.

The next Women’s North American Champion will be crowned in a ladder match at Stand & Deliver. Zaria and Kelani Jordan have already earned their spots, and qualifying should continue tonight.

Join us for live coverage starting at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

NXT is on the air from a sound stage at the Performance Center in Orlando. My local CW affiliate joined the show already in progress by several seconds as NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer is being interviewed backstage. She then heads towards the entrance ramp.

Jaida Parker vs. Jordynne Grace ended in a no contest (or maybe a disqualification)

NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer is at ringside for guest commentary. The winner of this match challenges Vaquer for the title at Stand & Deliver, except Vaquer got involved in the match from ringside. Giulia also returned in a post-match angle to attack the champion.

The referee throws the match out when Vaquer gets physically involved at ringside, or at least I assume the ref did. It could have been a disqualification. Who knows, because we never got any official word. I miss when commentators said, “Let’s get the official word.” Then, the ring announcers would tell us the end result or lack thereof. This was more like a lack thereof.

Good opener up to that point, if somewhat scary at times on some wild bumps. They wrestled through a split-screen commercial break. Grace almost crashed and burned while doing a dive through the ropes just before the finish. That led into Vaquer getting involved in a melee.

Vaquer was likely supposed to get hit as collateral damage on Grace’s tope suicida, but Grace takes a spill instead. So, Grace sort of shoves Parker into Vaquer. The champ looks to hit Parker, but Vaquer instead clotheslines Grace. From there, the match descends into a brawl while the ref calls for the bell. So, Grace might have won via disqualification, unless the proceeding melee deems it being ruled a no contest. Your guess is as good as mine.

Out comes Giulia to help Vaquer clean house, and then they face-off. Giulia headbutts Vaquer, and Giulia delivers a Northern Lights bomb. Giulia then poses with the title belt while standing over the reigning champion, who is laid out in the ring.

Following up on a similar cliffhanger from last week, the previous episode ended with Ethan Page laying out Ricky Saints, who has just won his first title in WWE when he captured the NXT North American Championship.

Hank & Tank are backstage chatting when they are approached by the tag team known as Swipe Right. This skit plays into Swipe Right wrestling in the next match on tonight’s card.

NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom (Nathan Frazier & Axiom) defeated Swipe Right (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) in non-title match

Vic Joseph on commentary called it “a statement win.” The win by Fraxiom could also be called an enhancement match. However, this was far from a squash match. Swipe Right got their stuff in, and they had a competitive match at times. For the finish, Spanish Fly by Axiom on Smokes, and Frazier follows up with a Phoenix Splash. Frazier then covers Smokes for the pinfall.

Fatal Influence is backstage. Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne are arguing over who gets to face Sol Ruca. Jazmyn Nyx cuts off her Fatal Influence partners to say she is facing Ruca tonight.

Sol Ruca (with Zaria) defeated Jazmyn Nyx (with Jacy Jayne & Fallon Henley) in a NXT Women’s North American Championship qualifying match

Ruca pinned Nyz after a Sol Snatcher in an okay match. In winning, Ruca qualifies for the ladder match at Stand & Deliver for the Women’s North American title. A subplot in this bout tonight was Fatal Influence leaving Nyz out to dry with no help.

Je’Von Evans cuts a promo on NXT Champion Oba Femi and Trick Williams.

Giulia is stopped while leaving the building for a TMZ-style interview. She wants for title rematch at Stand & Deliver against Vaquer.

Brooks Jensen & Niko Vance defeated Hank Walker & Tank Ledger

Vance pinned Walker to win the match. Yet another loss for Hank & Tank, as their losing streak continues. On commentary, it was phrased as they are still trying “to find their way.”

Hank & Tank got a lot of offense in the match, and they were a house of fire at times. Even moments before the finish, Hank was running wild. Tank is thrown into the barricade at ringside, and Hank was double-teamed in the ring. The led into the finish.

Out comes new NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints for a monologue. While Saints gets a full entrance and some promo time, he tries to calling out Ethan Page. Instead, out comes Lexis King to interrupt the segment. More interruptions follow because no in-ring promo in NXT can go without an interruption. It must be some kind of rule. Thou must interrupt.

So King interrupts first, followed by Eddy Thorpe. Wes Lee soon joins the talking segment after another interruption. Saints says this is not the place to figure this out when Saints is suddenly ambushed by Ethan Page. Saints takes a Twist of Fate from Page.

Page, Lee, Thorpe and King all have a tug-o-war over the NXT title match. All four then start brawling among themselves. Lee does a flip dive to the outside on a pile of bodies, and Lee is set for a match up next. Yet, Lee was time to recover, because before his match is a skit and a backstage interview.

NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer informs NXT GM Ava that she made up her made. Vaquer wants to fight “all of them” at Stand & Deliver. That would seem to set up fatal four-way for the women’s title at Stand & Deliver. Lazy booking in my opinion, but the match will probably be great. Men’s title match is also a multi-person match. Very lazy booking, but let us hope they have a plan.

Wes Lee (with Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe) defeated Yoshiki Inamura (with Josh Briggs)

Lee pinned Inamura after a Cardiac Kick. Inamura was in control in the closing moments. He did an airplane spin body slam, and Inamura went to climb the ropes. Igwe interferes by jumping on the apron and grabbing the top rope. Briggs comes in for the save by pulling Igwe off the apron, but it was too late. A shaken top rope causes Inamura to lose his balance, and he takes a bump into the ring. Cardiac Kick by Lee, and he covers Inamura for a pinfall.

NXT Champion Oba Femi cuts a promo on DarkState.

Izzi Dame (with The Culling) defeated Wren Sinclair (with No Quarter Catch Crew) in a NXT Women’s North American Championship qualifying match

Dame pinned Sinclair after a sit-out powerbomb. Weakest match on the show so far, as it was not particularly good. With her win, Dame qualifies for the ladder match at Stand & Deliver.

NXT Champion Oba Femi, Trick Williams & Je’Von Evans vs. DarkState (Dion Lennox, Saquon Shugars & Cutler James) in a six-man tag team match

Freebird rules for DarkState, as we did not know which three of the four would wrestle in this trios match until it starts. At least they still have that aura, because for me whatever aura they had is gone with this bout. They are just another group of wrestlers on the show, albeit with gear that matches.

The trios match itself goes through a commercial break. The heel trio gets heat on Evans, as they work him over. They built to Evans making a hot tag, with Femi shoving Trick’s hand out of the way so Femi could tag in. Femi was cleaning house when he sends Shugars crashing into Trick. With that and the shove of the hand earlier, Trick had enough. He gets into the ring to argue with Femi.

Evans yells at Trick and Femi to pay attention. Femi inadvertently tags Evans, so he is now legal. Meanwhile, Femi and Trick start to brawl with a slugfest. Cactus clothesline sends both Femi and Trick over the ropes and out to the floor.

Evans leaps high off the top rope with a frog splash on James for a near fall. While referees pour out to ringside to separate Femi and Trick, DarkState gangs up on Evans in the ring. Triple power bomb by DarkState, and Shugars covers Evans for the deciding pinfall.

The show ends with Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo on the Titantron speaking on behalf of the D’Angelo Family, and Stacks challenges DarkState to fight in the parking lot next Tuesday.

Big Vinny V: TNA Impact with build for…NXT Roadblock?

Eight days out from TNA’s next app special, the best segment on Impact was spent hyping up a big show for another promotion.

The face-to-face confrontation between NXT champion Oba Femi and TNA X-Division champion Moose, the two combatants in the main event of NXT’s Roadblock, stole the show this week. So what about TNA Sacrifice? Well, the presumed main event—the ladder match between Moose and Jeff Hardy—was virtually ignored. The participants in the 10-man tag were finalized, and a stip was added. Masha Slamovich’s title defense against Cora Jade was pushed, assuming Jade will be medically cleared to compete by then. And the NXT trio of Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont, and Tyriek Igwe continue to ruin the days of Ace Austin and the Rascalz.

Elsewhere, Savannah Evans battles Xia Brookside, the Elegance brand spends more time as the personal servants of Spitfire, Eric Young tries again to earn the trust of Steve Maclin, Mike Santana poisons Mustafa Ali, and the Colons wrestle the Hardys in a main event that, technically, happened. We’ll explain on the latest Big Vinny V Show!

**********
Elijah defeated Brian Myers

The recap package for last week’s show airs to get things started, and then the “Cross The Line” intro video and theme plays. Inside the Impact Zone, Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt welcome us to this week’s edition of TNA Impact.

Elijah’s theme hits and out comes the newest addition to the men’s roster in TNA for scheduled opening action. He settles inside the squared circle and his music dies down. We then hear “Trust The System!” and the theme for Brian Myers hits. Out he comes accompanied by Alisha Edwards.

As soon as the bell sounds, Elijah charges across the ring and blasts Myers with a big shot that decks The System member. Myers tries rolling to the floor and calling a timeout as Elijah rolls out after him. Instead, Elijah blasts him with a big chop in front of Alisha.

He puts Myers on the ring apron and drapes his head over the edge of the apron. From the floor, he picks his head up and slams it down on the corner of the apron. And again. He backs up, runs and leaps, blasting Myers with a hip-attack similar to Roman Reigns’ “Drive By” spot.

Back inside the ring, Myers begins to shift the offensive momentum into his favor. This doesn’t last for long, however, as Elijah takes back over and eventually hits his finisher for the pinfall victory. After the match, The System hits the ring to attack Elijah.

Joe Hendry’s theme hits and out comes the TNA World Champion to make the save, running off The System. Hendry and Elijah stand tall in the ring staring down The System as they head up the entrance ramp to wrap up the eventful post-match scene.

Gia Miller Interviews Ace Austin & The Rascalz

Backstage, Gia Miller is standing by with her guests at this time, Ace Austin and The Rascalz duo of Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz. Austin says he knows they are still unsure how much they can trust each other heading into TNA Sacrifice 2025.

He says they practically grew up in the business together and references some past interactions and instances that proves they can trust each other. The Rascalz vow to beat down Wes Lee and his wannabe Rascalz duo of Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe.

“Smoke ’em if you got ’em!” ends the brief backstage interview segment. The show heads to the first commercial break of the evening.

First Class Penthouse with AJ Francis & KC Navarro

When the show returns, First Class duo AJ Francis and KC Navarro make their way out for the second installment of their new talk show segment, First Class Penthouse. Francis says the streets are still talking about the debut edition of First Class Penthouse.

Francis says they have a special guest tonight. “The Prize Fighter KO!” He then reveals it was a joke and that he was referring to KC Navarro. K-N-O. For KC N-avarr-O. Out comes Steve Maclin out of nowhere, who hits what will no doubt be the line of the evening, as he calls AJ Francis “The Temu Suge Knight.”

Francis asks if people want to see the two of them fight tonight. Francis says give him 30 minutes to get his gear on and then he’s gonna kick Maclin’s ass. Maclin tells him, “Take your 30 minutes, big boy!”

Savannah Evans defeated Xia Brookside

Back to the ring for the second match of the evening, which will be one-on-one action contested in the TNA Knockouts division. Savannah Evans makes her way to the ring first and settles inside. The “American Pie” soundtrack-sounding entrance tune for her opposition hits, and out comes the bubbly Xia Brookside.

The bell sounds and the match gets officially off-and-running. The much larger Evans immediately charges across the ring in a hurry, looking to bum-rush Brookside and attack her while she was off-guard. Instead, Brookside, seemingly with a sixth-sense, noticed Evans coming and side-stepped her.

Brookside gets the early offensive jump on Evans, taking it to her much larger foe as the fans inside the Impact Zone cheer her on. Rosemary is shown watching on from the rafters. Evans ends up cutting Brookside’s offensive run short and taking over, slowing the pace down.

Evans makes one misstep, and Brookside capitalizes, securing a tarantula-style submission while hanging off the body of her opponent. Brookside hits a big move coming off the ropes for a close two-count, but then Evans started to come to life. She launched Brookside into the corner but missed a follow-up splash.

She goes for a running knee drop on Brookside on the mat, but Brookside rolls out of the way just in time. Brookside, distracted while dealing with a potential injury, gets blasted from behind by Evans with one stiff shot that turns her inside-out. Evans quickly follows up with the pin fall for the win. The show heads into another commercial break.

Mike Santana defeated John Skyler (w/ Jason Hotch)

When the show returns, a digital segment airs showing Ash and Heather by Elegance being given a rude awakening by Spitfire duo Jody Threat and Dani Luna. They dress them up like goth girls in their style and give them chores to do as their personal concierges.

After the video package wraps up, the show returns inside the Impact Zone, where John Skyler of the rebranded Great Hands duo with Jason Hotch makes his way to the ring cutting a promo about Mike Santana being “street trash.” Sounds familiar.

The hip-hop theme for Santana hits and out comes the fan-favorite for one-on-one action against Skyler in the next match of the evening. Santana enters the ring and the bell sounds to get things started.

Skyler gets the early jump on Santana, but fans chant his name and he fires up and begins taking over, running over Skyler with repeated clotheslines and then hitting a Three Amigos suplex sequence in an homage to Eddie Guerrero.

This gives Hannifan a good chance to plug TNA Sacrifice in El Paso, TX, where the Guerrero name is legendary. He mentions Chavo Guerrero Jr. will be there. Literally seconds later, Santana finishes off Skyler for a very quick and easy victory.

Once the match wraps up, Hotch tries attacking Santana from behind, but he avoids it and takes out The Great Hands member with his Spin The Block finisher. Santana notices the hammer that Hotch was about to use as a weapon on him. Fans chant for him to use it.

As he contemplates doing exactly that, he notices Mustafa Ali on the big screen with Tasha Steelz by his side. He calls Santana an animal and mentions how TNA is, as it should be, a safe working environment. He says it’s time for Santana to submit to a random urine screening.

Out comes someone in a suit with a cup and a lid, which he hands to Santana, presumably to “provide his sample.” Santana takes it and shakes his head. “This dude’s got me bugging, bro,” he says off-mic to end the post-match scene. The show heads to another commercial break.

AJ Francis (w/ KC Navarro) defeated Steve Maclin

When the show returns, the First Class entrance tune hits and out comes AJ Francis, accompanied by KC Navarro. The duo head to the ring together, where Francis is scheduled for one-on-one action in a match that was set up during the First Class Penthouse segment earlier in the show.

The familiar sounds of Steve Maclin’s theme song hits next and out comes the “Bulletproof” one himself. The bell sounds to get things started. Maclin takes the early offensive lead. The crowd is strongly behind him as he works over the First Class leader.

Francis ends up killing Maclin’s early momentum, stifling a big spot he tried in the corner. From there, Francis completely takes over on offense. He hits running knees to a seated Maclin on his way out to the floor, where he stands alongside Navarro and does their chant. “Money! Money! Money!”

Back in the ring, Francis eats a shot from Maclin. Maclin hangs Francis upside down in the tree of woe in the corner. He runs over and knocks Navarro off the apron when he tries interfering, and then runs and spears an upside down Francis. He looks for the K.I.A., but Francis avoids it and takes over.

Francis has Maclin by the throat when out of the blue, The Northern Armory duo of Travis Williams and Judas Icarus run out and hop on opposing sides of the ring apron. Francis capitalizes on the distraction and lays out Maclin.

The commentators bring up how The Northern Armory clearly seemed to be trying to help Maclin. Eric Young appears at ringside. Maclin comes out and tells Young he doesn’t need or want their help. He heads back into the ring, where Francis hits his Down Payment chokeslam finisher for the win.

Ryan Nemeth In Tears Over Nic Nemeth, Matt Hardy Face Time Call

The digital exclusive segment with Matt Hardy, Joe Hendry and Elijah discussing the members for their team in the scheduled ten-man tag-team match against The System and The Colons at TNA Sacrifice 2025 airs.

Ryan Nemeth wants on Hendry’s team. Hardy doesn’t. He calls Nic Nemeth, who pushes for his bro, but ultimately accepts that no one likes him. Nic tells Hardy to just please let him be the one to break the news to his brother.

Hardy tells him his brother has been listening. The others notice Ryan Nemeth fighting back tears. They ask if he’s going to cry. Ryan storms off in an emotional huff. The show heads to another commercial break.

Steve Maclin Confronts Eric Young & The Northern Armory

When the show returns, Steve Maclin catches up with Eric Young and The Northern Armory backstage and confronts them over them essentially costing him his match against AJ Francis.

Young tells him they did it for his own good, and had he not gotten distracted, it would have worked out. Maclin tells Young he trusts him, “but not this,” while pointing to The Northern Armory duo of Travis Williams and Judas Icarus. Young tells Maclin to “open your eyes and let the truth guide you.”

Maclin goes to walk off, but bumps into Frankie Kazarian. Kazarian, who looks like he borrowed an outfit from Seth “Freakin'” Rollins closet, is holding his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy and taunting Maclin, who gives him one fair warning before walking off.

Fraxiom Sends A Message To The Hardy Boyz

Footage is shown of TNA World Tag-Team Champions The Hardy Boyz and WWE NXT World Tag-Team Champions Fraxiom having a showdown in the ring earlier this week on WWE NXT to promote their title tilt at WWE NXT Roadblock 2025.

When it wraps up, a backstage segment with Fraxiom airs. Nathan Frazer and Axiom talk about their upcoming title tilt with The Hardy Boyz and make it clear they will be keeping a close eye on their match later in tonight’s show against The Colons.

Oba Femi, Moose Go Face-To-Face Ahead Of WWE Roadblock 2025

The WWE digital exclusive video airs showing TNA X-Division Champion Moose of The System talking about his showdown against WWE NXT World Champion Oba Femi at WWE NXT Roadblock 2025. Moose vows to leave with the WWE NXT title and become the face of the franchise.

Back live inside the Impact Zone, the familiar sounds of Oba Femi’s theme hits and out he comes, with the crowd doing his entrance chant routine. He settles inside the squared circle for his advertised face-to-face meeting with Moose.

The System theme hits and out comes Moose and his goons. He stops and motions to someone in the back. On that note, a bunch of security make their way out and accompany him to the ring.

Inside the ring, Oba Femi and Moose each tell the story of how they first heard about the other, while vowing to be the one to take out the other and prove they are the true dominant Nigerian force in the pro wrestling business.

The two end up in a wild brawl, where it is revealed that the “security” Moose brought with him were just paid goons in street clothes. They all jump Femi when it first appeared they were just trying to separate the two. Regardless, Femi ends up firing up and clearing house in an impressive sight.

Eric Young & The Northern Armory (Travis Williams & Judas Icarus) defeated Ace Austin & The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz)

Back inside the Impact Zone, the familiar sounds of Eric Young’s entrance tune hits the house speakers. Out comes the TNA Wrestling veteran along with his partners for this scheduled six-man tag-team contest, The Northern Armory duo of Travis Williams and Judas Icarus.

The ABC theme song for their opposition hits and out comes Ace Austin. The Rascalz’ music plays after that and the team of Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel head to the ring to a strong reaction from the fans inside Full Sail University.

After the bell sounds, things get started with a bang in this one. Things settle into Young and The Northern Armory in a comfortable offensive lead as the show heads into a mid-match commercial break. When the show returns, Wentz is isolated in the ring and being beaten down.

The crowd rallies behind Wentz, who eventually fires up and takes over, shifting the offensive momentum into his team’s favor. He tags in Miguel, who picks up where he left off. Wes Lee makes his way out. Wentz hits a big dive to take him out, but the distraction sets Young up for the piledriver for the win.

Mike Santana Approaches Santino Marella Backstage

Backstage, Mike Santana is holding his pee cup when he approaches TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella. He brings up all that he’s been through to get clean, including his meetings that the company has shown on TNA Impact, etc.

He asks if this pee test is really what they’re going to do to him. Santino says Mustafa Ali went above his head to the Anthem management. “I’ve got a boss, too,” Marella tells him. He says to just do it, prove him wrong, and get this whole thing behind him. Santino walks off.

Santana overhears Tasha Steelz scolding some regular Joe for not bringing the right kind of coffee for Ali. She tells him the correct kind and sends him off to get it. Santana stops him and tells him not to let anyone talk to him like that.

He then takes the cup and says he’ll handle it for him. He heads into the bathroom with Ali’s coffee cup as the show heads to another commercial break.

TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich Addresses Cora Jade

When the show returns, a second digital style segment airs showing the latest update of Spitfire duo Jody Threat and Dani Luna forcing their personal concierges, Ash and Heather by Elegance, to do tasks.

This time they are shown in the gym. When they leave, there is an incident with a janitor, who ends up being George Iceman in disguise. He tells Ash and Heather, who laid out Spitfire, “It’s me! Let’s get out of here!”

Inside the Impact Zone, reigning TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich makes her way down to the ring. She gets on the microphone and addresses Cora Jade. She tells the WWE NXT Superstar when she steps into the ring with her at TNA Sacrifice, it’s not going to be a match, but a fight.

She says it’s a fight she’s not going to walk out of, because Slamovich is built different. Cora Jade’s theme hits and out she comes with a microphone in-hand. She tells Slamovich all she hears is someone who knows their title reign is coming to an end.

Slamovich tells Jade she’s gonna expose her as someone who is not a real fighter. After she does, as Slamovich is staring down Jade at ringside from inside the ring, she is attacked from behind by Tessa Blanchard. Jade enters the ring to help out.

As Blanchard and Jade are beating down Slamovich in two-on-one fashion, the theme for Lei Ying Lee hits. Out to the ring comes Blanchard’s scheduled opponent for TNA Sacrifice 2025. She makes the save for Slamovich and runs off Jade and Blanchard.

Mustafa Ali’s Day Just Got Worse

Backstage, Mustafa Ali sees Tasha Steelz and asks her for an update. She tells him the coffee was delivered, but wasn’t right, so she sent the guy back out to get it. He says he doesn’t care about that and asks about Mike Santana’s drug test.

Steelz says she just spoke with Santino and unfortunately, Santana’s drug test came back negative, so he passed it. Ali is upset and says they’ve got to find a way to get him to take another drug test or something.

She hands him his coffee and after he takes a sip, he clearly knows what he just drank, so he rushes Steelz away to avoid further embarrassment. On that note, the show heads into another commercial break.

The Hardy Boyz defeated The Colons via Disqualification

It’s main event time!

But first, Hannifan and Rehwoldt introduce a quick video that runs down the advertised lineup for next week’s TNA Sacrifice 2025 “go-home” show (see below). Ryan Nemeth then comes out and announces that his big brother is coming back in eight days.

The Colons duo of Eddie and Orlando Colon make their way down to the ring. The iconic sounds of the theme music for The Hardy Boyz hits and out comes the reigning TNA World Tag-Team Champions for the main event of the evening.

The Full Sail crowd gives Matt and Jeff Hardy a huge reaction coming out. The bell sounds and things get underway in this, the tag-team main event of the evening. Matt Hardy kicks things off for his team coming out of the gate, establishing the early offensive lead over The Colons.

He plays to the crowd as the show heads into a mid-match commercial break. When the show returns, Hardy is still dominating the action, taking it to Eddie until Orlando makes the save for his brother. This leads to an offensive shift in momentum.

The Colons begin to enjoy their first prolonged run of offensive control. Matt is isolated in the ring and controlled for a few minutes, but ultimately, Jeff gets the much-needed tag and begins taking over. As The Hardy Boyz take their shirts off and look to finish things off, The System hit the ring for an attack.

The referee throws the match out. Joe Hendry’s theme hits and out comes the TNA World Champion to make sure The Hardy Boyz aren’t unfairly attacked in an outnumbered situation. As Joe Hendry, The Hardy Boyz and Leon Slater and Elijah, who also ran out, stand tall in the ring.

As The System and The Colons do the same outside of the ring, TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella’s theme hits. The shot-caller in TNA announces that the ten man tag-team match between the two teams of five at TNA Sacrifice 2025 will now be contested inside of a steel cage. That blockbuster announcement is how this week’s show comes to an end.

Next Week:
* Masha Slamovich & Lei Ying Lee vs. Tessa Blanchard & Cora Jade
* Laredo Kid vs. Wes Lee
* Eddie Edwards vs. Leon Slater (TNA Sacrifice Advantage Match)
* Xia Brookside vs. Rosemary
* Joe Hendry will defend the TNA World Championship

The System & The Colons Kick Things Off

After the usual show-opening intro video and theme music, a recap package airs highlighting top moments on last week’s show. Inside the Impact Zone inside Full Sail University, The System make their way out to the ring to kick things off.

Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt talk on commentary about Moose vs. Oba Femi at WWE Roadblock in a title versus title match following the TNA X-Division Champion’s appearance on NXT on CW earlier this week. Fans are chanting “Oba’s gonna kill you! Oba’s gonna kill you!” as he settles in the ring.

Starting off on the microphone is Alisha Edwards, who as always, hits the crowd with the annoying-voiced, “Do you wanna know something?!” JDC takes a turn on the microphone and then Moose takes over. He talks about how he’s gonna take out Oba Femi.

He then aims his anger at Jeff Hardy, who he says got lucky against him twice in the past. He says tonight his luck runs out. Brian Myers then gets a turn on the stick. He says Oba Femi isn’t System-material. He then turns his focus to the recent TNA debuts of Eddie and Orlando Colon.

He says they might be System-material. The theme for The Colons hits and out they come to the ring. They get on the mic and remind everyone what the Colon name means. It’s their way of life, and there’s only a few elite wrestlers who fully understands what that means.

They say they respect The System. The System make it clear that everything is better when you trust in The System. The opening segment wraps up on that note.

Gia Miller Interviews Spitfire

Backstage, Gia Miller is standing by with her guests at this time, the TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champions Spitfire. Jody Threat and Dani Luna talk about their unique stipulation for their match against Ash and Heather by Elegance later tonight.

They have some fun talking about things they can make them do if they win and they become their personal concierge. They joke about giving them makeovers and mohawks.

Hannifan runs down the advertised lineup for tonight as the official match graphics flash on the screen. The show heads into the first commercial break of the evening.

Leon Slater Confronts The System Backstage

When the show returns, we see The System walking-and-talking backstage when Leon Slater approaches them and confronts them for talking trash. Things start to get heated.

The Hardys show up and keep good on their word of having Slater’s back. The two sides bicker and pull-and-push, but are ultimately kept apart.

Mike Santana defeated Oro Mensah

Inside the Impact Zone, Mike Santana’s theme hits and out he comes to the ring for the first match of the evening. As he settles inside the squared circle, the theme for his opponent hits and the crowd pops as The Meta-Four’s Oro Mensah from WWE NXT comes out.

Fans chant “Oro!” and then “NXT! NXT!” as his music dies down. The bell sounds and the two lock-up. Santana grabs a side head-lock, but Mensah escapes. Mensah isolates and cranks on the arm of Santana, bringing him down to the mat and controlling the limb.

Santana eventually fights his way back up, escapes and snatches up Mensah’s arm. He does the same to him, before opting instead to blast him with wild rights and lefts that knock him across the ring. Mensah catches him by surprise with a hurricanrana.

Santana rushes towards him in the corner, but runs right into a big boot to the grill. Mensah heads to the ring apron and springboards into the ring with a single-leg dropkick that sends Santana flying and crashing to the mat. Santana rolls out to the floor.

Mensah tries for a flying cross-body to the floor, but Santana catches him and drops him face-first on the hard part of the ring apron, before turning him inside-out with a mean clothesline. Back in the ring, Santana catches Mensah with a Rolling Buck-50.

He goes for the cover, but Mensah kicks out. Mensah fights back, but ultimately, Santana takes over and blasts the NXT Superstar with his Spin The Block finisher for the pinfall victory. After the match, a corny-style political smear-campaign commercial parody airs.

It shows Mustafa Ali and his new crew consisting of The Great Hands (John Skyler and Jason Hotch) and Tasha Steelz trashing Santana, who is shown reacting live still in the ring following his victory over Mensah. After this wraps up, the show heads into another commercial break.

When the show returns, an angry Santana storms the backstage area in search of Mustafa Ali and his crew. He runs into The Great Hands and Steelz and they play dumb. He tells them Santana can do this to his face if he wants to. He almost says he’s gonna stick his foot up their ass, but Steelz censors him and cuts him off.

Tessa Blanchard defeated Kelsey Heather

Inside the Impact Zone, the theme for Tessa Blanchard hits and out she comes to a ton of heat from the Full Sail crowd. She settles inside the squared circle where her opponent, Kelsey Heather, is already waiting.

The bell sounds and Blanchard immediately charges across the ring and starts woman-handling Heather. Fans break out in a deafening “Tessa sucks!” chant, which she fuels by giving a reaction to. She hits a vicious suplex to Heather into the turnbuckles in the corner.

In a split-screen, TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich is shown watching on as Blanchard continues to dominate Heather with ease. She whips her into the corner and charges from the opposing corner only to halt dead in her tracks at the last second.

As Heather cowered, Blanchard blasted her with an open-hand slap across the mouth. Blanchard hits a cutter out of nowhere and then wraps her arms up for the Buzzsaw in the center of the ring. 1-2-3. Blanchard isn’t getting fired. Instead she wrestled and won. Easily and emphatically.

Cora Jade Attacks Masha Slamovich Backstage

Backstage, Gia Miller asks Masha Slamovich for her thoughts on Tessa Blanchard’s performance moments ago. As she goes to answer, she is ambushed and brutally attacked from behind by Cora Jade.

The WWE NXT Superstar lays her out and as she stands over her, she says, “I don’t know why you’re worried about Tessa Blanchard when I’m the one who is going to take your title at Sacrifice.” After this, the show heads to another commercial break.

Joe Hendry & Elijah Confronted By The System Backstage

Backstage, TNA World Champion Joe Hendry and Elijah, guitar and all, are shown talking. Hendry says it was fun last week, but he’s seen this one before.

He says the second he gets comfortable being friendly with Elijah, his guitar is going to be wrapped around his head. Elijah assures him that is not the case, even though he understands why Hendry would be cautious of it.

The System confront them, with Alisha Edwards saying for the second time in the show, as annoying-as-ever, “Do you wanna know something?!” They taunt the duo and walk off.

Steve Maclin defeated KC Navarro (w/ AJ Francis)

The theme for First Class hits as the show settles back inside the Impact Zone. Out comes KC Navarro accompanied by AJ Francis. The duo settles inside the squared circle together, where Navarro is scheduled for singles action.

Their music dies down and out next comes Navarro’s opponent, “Bulletproof” Steve Maclin. The bell sounds and the two circle each other before locking up. Maclin grabs a side headlock, but Navarro pushes him into the ropes and shucks him off.

After a simple leap-frog on the comeback, Navarro stops, turns and over-celebrates to the crowd. When he turns around, Maclin hoists him up for a Last Ride-style brutal powerbomb that nearly puts him through the ring.

Maclin heads out after Navarro on the floor. He ends up distracted by Francis, and while he is tied up, Navarro returns into the ring and drops Maclin down throat-first over the top-rope when he tries to do the same.

After bouncing out to the floor at ringside, Maclin is hoisted up and dropped face-first into the hard part of the ring apron by Francis, as Navarro distracted the referee inside the ring. Eric Young starts to make his way down to get a closer look at the action.

Maclin fights back and runs over Navarro. He hangs him upside down in the tree of woe, backs up and charges at him with a big spear. He follows that up with his K.I.A. finisher for the pinfall victory. He looks up at the entrance area and sees Young and The Northern Armory watching on. The show heads to another commercial break.

Tessa Blanchard vs. Lei Ying Lee Announced For TNA Sacrifice

Backstage, Tessa Blanchard is shown walking the halls after her first victory on TNA iMPACT in five years, when she notices Lei Ying Lee standing in a doorway. She asks if she’s got a staring problem.

After things get heated between the two, TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella walks up and tells Blanchard if she doesn’t think Lee is on her level, she’ll soon be able to prove it, because at TNA Sacrifice it will be Tessa Blanchard vs. Lei Ying Lee.

Spitfire (Jody Threat & Dani Luna) (c) vs. Ash & Heather By Elegance (w/ George Iceman) to retain the TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Championships

Inside the Impact Zone, George Iceman is shown standing in the ring. The personal concierge for Ash and Heather By Elegance, as always, personally handles their pre-match ring introduction. Out comes the Knockouts duo for a high stakes bout.

After they settle inside the squared circle, their music dies down and the rock and roll theme for the reigning, defending TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champions hits. Out comes Spitfire duo Jody Threat and Dani Luna.

The bell sounds and Ash By Elegance and Jody Threat kick things off for their respective teams. Fans break out in a loud “You look stupid!” chant aimed at Ash, which sets her off. After some back-and-forth action, the Elegant duo begins to take over.

As they do, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break. When the show returns, the two teams trade the lead a few times until ultimately, Spitfire picks up the win. Jody Threat gets on the mic after the bout to taunt the Elegant duo for having to now be their personal concierge.

The show heads to another commercial break. When the show returns, Ash and Heather by Elegance are shown looking a mess and unhappy backstage. As they complain about the stuff from Spitfire they are carrying for them stinking, up comes Spitfire with some more smelly gear for them to haul.

Mance Warner (w/ Steph De Lander) defeated Sami Callihan via Disqualification

Inside the Impact Zone, the theme hits to bring out TNA Digital Media Champion Mance Warner, who comes to the ring accompanied by Steph De Lander. After they settle inside the squared circle, Sami Callihan makes his way out as Warner’s scheduled opponent.

The bell sounds and Callihan gets out of the way as Warner tried sneak-attack charging him. Warner turns around into a stunner from Callihan. Callihan heads out to the floor and grabs a steel chair. He holds it up and blasts Warner with it.

As soon as he does, the referee calls for the bell. Callihan whacks him with it again. The fans chant “One more time!” He goes to oblige, but Warner moves and he smacks the steel ring post with it. Warner then runs over Callihan and leaves him laying on the floor.

Warner grabs the steel chair and begins wearing out Callihan with it as blood trickles from his own eye. Security rushes to the scene to break things up. Callihan ends up knocking a bunch of them over like bowling pins, but ultimately they keep the two apart. Fans loudly chant “Let them fight! Let them fight!”

On that note, the theme for TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella hits and the crowd lets out a ridiculously loud roar. Santino gets on the mic and says the fans are going to get what they want, as they will fight in a Street Fight at the upcoming TNA Sacrifice 2025 pay-per-view. The show heads to another commercial break.

Frankie Kazarian defeated Ace Austin

When the show returns, the theme for Wes Lee hits and out he comes accompanied by Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe. Lee takes a seat next to Hannifan and Rehwoldt and joins them for special guest commentary of the next match of the evening.

With that said, Frankie Kazarian’s theme hits and the reigning Call Your Shots Gauntlet winner makes his way out to the ring toting his massive trophy. Ace Austin makes his way out next to a good reaction from the Full Sail crowd.

The bell sounds, but before the match begins, Kazarian insists McKenzie Mitchell get back on the microphone and call him “The King of TNA.” Austin and Kazarian finally get things underway, and it is Austin who jumps out into the early offensive lead.

Kazarian ends up taking over and slowing things down as Lee banters with Hannifan and Rehwoldt on commentary. Austin starts to come to life, rolling Kazarian up for every type of creative pin attempt ever invented. Ultimately, he only gets a two-count each time.

Austin starts peppering Kazarian with an assortment of kicks. He plants him on the mat and leaps high into the air for a jumping leg-drop. He plays to the crowd and then runs and launches himself at Kazarian in the corner of the ring. Kazarian ends up on the floor.

Austin looks for his trademark spot, but sees Tyson and Tyriek right when he would be landing. He walks over and passes through the ropes and brings Kazarian closer to the ring. He hops on the ring apron and blasts Kazarian with a big kick.

He rolls him back into the ring, but when he goes to re-enter the ring himself, he stops and turns around to jaw back-and-forth with Tyson and Tyriek. When he turns around, Kazarian tried to capitalize on the distraction, but Austin out-smarted him.

Unfortunately it wasn’t the only distraction, as Lee stood up from the commentary desk and jawed at Austin to get his attention, this time resulting in Kazarian catching Austin off-guard with his finisher for the pinfall victory.

Once the match wraps up, Tyson and Tyriek hit the ring along with Lee and begin attacking Austin in three-on-one fashion. The Rascalz’ theme hits and Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel sprint down to the ring with steel chairs in their hands to make the save and run off the heel NXT trio. The show heads to another commercial break.

Ash & Heather By Elegance Work As Spitfire’s Personal Concierge

When the show returns, in a “cinematic experience” style segment, Ash and Heather by Elegance are shown being tortured with tedious tasks from the TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champions Spitfire.

Jody Threat and Dani Luna tells them one has to walk their dog and the other has to carry their bags. The cameras follow them as they awkwardly try and deal with this, Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie in The Simple Life-style.

The System (Moose, Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) defeated Oba Femi & The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy)

It’s main event time!

After next week’s lineup of matches for the March 4 episode of TNA iMPACT are announced (see below), the theme for The System hits and out comes Moose, Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers to the ring for the main event. They are accompanied by Alisha Edwards and JDC.

Footage is shown of Moose and Oba Femi’s confrontation from this past Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT on The CW Network, and the announcement of their showdown for WWE Roadblock.

Also shown is the WWE in-ring return of The Hardy Boyz from Tuesday’s NXT on CW, and subsequent announcement of The Hardy’s vs. Fraxiom at WWE Roadblock 2025.

Back inside the Impact Zone, the iconic entrance music for The Hardy Boyz hits and out comes the TNA World Tag-Team Champions Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy to a huge crowd response. After they settle in the ring, the familiar sounds of NXT World Champion Oba Femi’s theme hits.

The crowd does the trademark Oba Femi entrance routine as the top dog in the WWE NXT men’s division makes his way to the ring to join Matt and Jeff in six-man tag-team main event action. The bell sounds and it is Femi and Moose who kick things off for their respective teams.

Fans loudly chant “Oba’s gonna kill you! Oba’s gonna kill you!” After the initial exchange, things come unglued, leading to The Hardy’s hitting the ring and some big multi-man high spots as the show heads into a mid-match commercial break.

When the show returns, we see The System in what appears to be a comfortable offensive lead, with Moose beating down Jeff Hardy and focusing on his knee. Jeff finally makes the much needed tag to Matt, who hits the ring with a ton of energy, making the fired up offensive comeback for his team.

Oba and Moose end up in the ring together again, with Moose blasting Oba with a big kick to the face. Oba rocked way back, Alistair Overeem getting punched by Francis Ngannou style, but ultimately he stands back upright without ever going down. The crowd went berserk for that.

Femi hits a big sidewalk slam on Femi, but after some more interference, Moose ends up hitting a spear for the pinfall victory. After the match, The System beat down the babyfaces along with The Colons until Joe Hendry and Elijah run out to make the save.

TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella comes out and announces Moose vs. Jeff Hardy in a ladder match for the TNA X-Division Championship, as well as The System & The Colons vs. Joe Hendry, Matt Hardy and three partners of their choosing for TNA Sacrifice. That’s how this week’s show goes off the air.

* Xia Brookside vs. Savannah Evans
* We will hear from NXT Champion Oba Femi

Moose appears on WWE NXT, goes face-to-face with Oba Femi

Moose has arrived in NXT.

The opening of Tuesday’s show saw NXT Champion Oba Femi come to the ring to talk about the group that attacked him at Vengeance Day this past weekend. But as he was talking, he was interrupted by none other than TNA’s X Division Champion. Moose came to the ring and told Femi that he was the only man he couldn’t rule over, and told him that a match between the two has to happen. The segment ended with both men holding their respective championships.

Later, Lexis King met with Moose and was upset that TNA stars have been getting NXT title matches as of late, including Moose’s System stablemate JDC, and suggested TNA stars put their titles on the line. Moose replied that all King had to do was ask, setting up a X Division title match for next week’s NXT in Cincinnati.

Moose has been a mainstay in TNA since debuting in 2016. He’s held every title in the promotion, including winning their World title two times. Back in October, he defeated Mike Bailey to win the X Division title for the first time.

Femi was successful in defending his NXT Championship this past weekend by defeating Grayson Waller and Austin Theory in a three-way match. After the bout, a group that included Dion Lennox jumped Femi, laying him out with an assisted powerbomb.

Stephanie Vaquer defeated Jacy Jayne (with Fatal Influence)

Vaquer pinned Jayne after outside interference backfired. This match is part of the build to Vaquer challenging Henley for the NXT Women’s North American Champion at Vengeance Day next Saturday.

Fallon Henley interfered and distracted Vaquer, allowing Jayne to ambush her. Jayne gets heat on Vaquer during a split-screen commercial break. Vaquer makes a comeback after the show returns from the break, building to a superplex.

Vaquer rally led into them trading high spots on the home stretch. Jayne with a knee strikes for a near falls. They also traded near fall cradles. Vaquero with a 619 and a West Coast Pop, and Vaquero has a lateral press. Jaxmyn Nyz jumps into to interfere and inadvertently hit Jayne instead. The referee let the match go, no disqualification.

Vaquer hits Nyx with a headbutt into the nose guard Nyx was wearing on her face. Nyx sells like she is knocked out. Vaquer with a superkick and her SVB finisher, followed by a three count. Nyx is still knocked out while the referee counts three.

Vaquer glares at Henley, ahead of their upcoming title match.

Backstage skit has Zaria bickering with other women in a locker room. Lash Legend, Jakara Jackson, Sol Ruca, Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolan are all involved. At least Zaria is finally getting a push of some sort. This skit sets up a tag match for later on with Zaria & Sol Ruca against Paxley & Dolan.

Video clips highlight Roxanne Perez at the Royal Rumble.

Sarah Schreiber interviews NXT Champion Oba Femi about his upcoming tag match tonight. Femi says NXT GM Ava might run the promotion, but he runs the ring. Femi is going to show A-Town Down Under they do not belong in the ring with him. Femi is also dismissive of Trick Williams, who is Femi’s tag partner later tonight.

NXT Heritage Cup Champion Lexis King is standing in the ring with his trophy, and he delivers a lengthy monologue. This will lead to the return of Fandango, who is now JDC from The System in TNA.

First King was a lengthy monologue. King wants to be humble, except he is not humble. King brags about himself for what felt like forever. He mentions people in the back that helped him like Williams Regal, only for King to brag on himself.

The promo takes a turn as King starts talking about his father (Brian Pillman), who King called a “lunatic.” King rambles about his father, saying he tried everything to not become him, but King is a l”oose cannon” that wants to win. This is justifying his heel tactics.

King goes on announce the European rules for the Heritage Cup are done. It is now a one fall match. No more rounds. King is boasting about one fall, winner take all, when he is interrupted by a surprise return.

Fandango”s theme music blares, and out comes JDC as Fandango, back in NXT.

JDC exchanges insults with King, and then JDC announces that next week he will challenge King for the Heritage Cup in a match next Tuesday.

A clip from Wild Cards highlights Tony D’Angelo in a special guest role on the CW series. The episode debuts tomorrow night on CW affiliates.

“The Don” is backstage with The Family. They were watching the clip on a backstage monitor, and there is clearly some tension between Stacks and D’Angelo.

Ridge Holland defeated Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo (with The D’Angelo Family)

Holland pinned Stacks after interference by Izzi Dame backfires on The Family.

Stacks is knocked off the ring by Holland. Tony D’Angelo goes to check on Stacks, and Holland shoves D’Angelo. As Holland rolls Stacks back into the ring, “The Don” jumps on the apron to argue with the referee.

Meanwhile, Izzi Dame runs in. This time Holland is ready, and she stops in her tracks. As Holland faces Dame, Stacks with a schoolboy roll up on Holland for a two count. From there, they go home. Holland executes The Redeemer, and he covers Stacks for a pinfall.

Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura confront NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazier & Axiom in a backstage skit.

Sol Ruca & Zaria defeated Gigi Dolan & Tatum Paxley

Ruca pinned Dolan after a springboard flip into a cutter (Sol Snatcher). Zaria got to look strong. About time. Hot tag to Zaria, and she runs wild. All four get involved just before they go home. Zaria gives Paxlet a F-5 on Dolan. From there, Ruca springboards into her finisher, and Ruca covers Dolan for a three count.

Video clips from Royal Rumble highlight Stephanie Vaquer in the Women’s Rumble match along with NXT Women’s Champion Giulia.

Trick Williams is interviewed by Sarah Schreiber. Williams says the plan is to show why he deserves the title shot instead of Waller & Theory. Williams also warns Oba Femi that he was a receipt coming to him (alluding to Femi powerbombing Trick on a table last week).

Bayley, Roxanne Perez and Giulia are set to meet up in the ring for a “summit” ahead of their triple threat at Vengeance Day. Before Giulia can enter the scene, Perez starts cutting a promo on Bayley. Perez insults Bayley and claims Bayley is only coming back to take advantage of NXT. Perez goes on to say she wants all of the titles.

Bayley says Perez still doesn’t get it. Bayley is here to help NXT. Bayley built the ring here. She had promo class with Dusty Rhodes here. Bayley goes son to say she will win Elimination Chamber and go to WrestleMania.

Giulia eventually joins the “summit” in the ring. Giulia says enough with this. She will beat Perez and Bayley. They are not ready for her “Beautiful Madness”.

Suddenly, out comes Charlotte Flair, who is back in NXT after a long absence. Mama has come home. Charlotte goes on to reminiscence about winning the Rumble and the NXT title. Charlotte puts over both Perez and Giulia, but Charlotte is better.

Cora Jade runs in with her kendo stick, and she attacks Bayley and Giulia. The babyfaces feed into shots from the kendo stick. Perez begs off and she flees the scene.

Ava in a backstage skit tells Je’Von Evans he can have a match against Ethan Page at Vengeance Day, if Evans can get cleared by a doctor.

Karmen Petrovic (with Ashante “Thee” Adonis) defeated Kelani Jordan via disqualification

Jordan initially won via submission, but the referee reverses the decision after Jordan goes full Bob Backlund.

Jaida Parker comes down to ringside during the match, and she joins the announce desk for guest commentary. Adonis also gets involved at one point when he took a crossbody from Jordan.

They were given plenty of time, as the match goes through a commercial break. They worked really hard to have a good match, and they beat the heck out of each other.

At the finish, Jordan glares at Parker while Jordan executes back-to-back split-legged moonsaults on Petrovic. Jordan is glaring at Parker while Jordan applies a crossface chicken wing to supposedly win via submission. More on that in a moment.

Jordan goes full Bob Backlund after the bell, as she snaps and snatches Petrovic in another chicken wing. The referee reverses his decision, and he awards the match to Petrovic via disqualification.

Stephanie Vaquer in a promo vows to win the women’s title at Vengeance Day. Vaquer will see Henley in hell.

Video clips highlight Lash Legend and Jaida Parker at the Royal Rumble.

Bayley rushed into Ava’s office in a backstage skit. Bayley demands a match against Cora Jade, and Ava books the match for next Tuesday on NXT.

Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura both say to Ava they have teams wanting to face them. So, Ava books the most overdone gimmick match in wrestling today — a triple threat match. Briggs & Inamura will face Hank Walker & Tank Ledger and No Quarter Catch Crew.

Waller & Theory cut promos ahead of their match, which leads to them bickering with each other.

Grayson Waller & Austin Theory defeated Trick Williams & NXT Champion Oba Femi

Waller pinned Williams after outside interference by Eddy Thorpe. After the match, Thorpe attacks William even further to set up a strap match.

Williams and Femi argue and bicker at times. Waller and Theory are fodder for Williams and Femi, until the odd couple teammates start to argue. Trick shoves Femi, and Femi retaliates by pulling Trick out of the ring. Trick and Femi argue some more, and Waller wipes them out with a flip dive. From there, the show cuts to a picture-in-picture commercial break.

Heat on Trick as the heel duo works him over. Waller clotheslines Trick on the floor, and Waller follows up by jumping off the barricade with a flying elbow drop. Back in the ring, Waller is cut off by a pop-up punch from Trick.

Hot tag and Femi cleans house. Femi lifts both Waller and Theory for a double-stacked Samoan Drop. Femi is finishing off Waller and Theory when Trick makes a bling tag, much to the chagrin of Femi.

Femi and Trick argue. Meanwhile, Theory tags out unbeknownst to Trick. Waller is the legal man, and he decks Trick. No matter, Trick comes back with a running knee strike.

All four are in the ring as a melee develops. Femi and Theory tumble over the ropes to the floor. In the ring is Waller and Trick. While Trick is measuring Waller, Eddy Thorpe suddenly is at ringside. Thorpe breaks a walking stick on Trick’s back, and Trick sells big. Waller does his dash into a pop-up cutter, and Trick takes the finisher. Waller then covers Trick for a three count.

Thorpe jumps Trick after the match Thorpe punches Trick, with Thorpe also clutching the long strap he’s had for several weeks. Thorpe whips Trick with the strap. This clearly sets up a strap match for Vengeance Day, but the show goes off air without a formal announcement.

The show actually ends with another teaser with the color bars.
