They recapped the Money In The Bank ladder match and showed highlights.

Miz TV with Otis

The Miz and John Morrison were already in the ring for Miz TV. The Miz started to speak, but Otis’ music interrupted, and he made his way to the ring. Otis was beyond happy and over the moon to have the Money In the Bank briefcase.

Miz told Otis to sit, but the chair broke. Otis decided just to stand. Otis noted this is the biggest win of his career, but the biggest win of his life is winning Mandy Rose. Morrison wondered how Otis got Rose.

Miz became frustrated that Otis won the Money in the Bank. He pointed out that he used the briefcase to launch his career. Miz demanded Otis get Tucker for a tag team match later. Otis noted Tucker is injured. Miz became even more upset and told Otis to find someone to be his partner. For some reason, an employee came out and switched out the broken chair.

Otis promised to find a partner to take on Miz and Morrison later tonight. This was a fine opening segment, and they kept it short, which helped. It was all about Otis being the most unlikely person to win MITB and date Mandy Rose.

They announced the matches for the Intercontinental Championship tournament. The first round matches are Daniel Bryan vs. Drew Gulak, Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus, Elias vs. King Corbin, and A.J. Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura.

She said she won many of her championships on SmackDown. Flair thinks there should be a giant picture of her hanging in the Performace Center.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley and Sasha Banks interrupted. Corey Graves noted that the three of them make up the Four Horsewomen with Becky Lynch.

Bayley noted FOX wanted Flair on SmackDown because she’s blonde, and her last name is Flair. They mentioned FOX liking blondes twice. Bayley and Banks pointed out the last time they saw her Bayley beat Flair.

Bayley and Banks demanded Flair leave their ring right now. Flair ran down all of Banks’s accomplishments and wondered why she’s in Bayley’s shadow. Bayley started yelling at Flair, and Flair asked somebody to turn off Bayley’s mic so Banks can talk.

Bayley interrupted before Banks could talk. Bayley challenged Flair to a champion versus champion match. Flair knows FOX wants her back, so she agreed to the match. Back from the break, Gulak was firmly in control and hit a back suplex for near fall. Gulak slowed the pace down with a full nelson and side headlock. Bryan attacked the leg in an attempt to break the hold, but Gulak held on.

Bryan broke the hold with the third shin breaker and hit two dragon screw whips. Bryan applied the ankle lock, but Gulak made it to the ropes. Bryan hit a German suplex for a near fall.

After the match, Otis and Strowman celebrated their win. Mandy Rose came out and distracted Strowman.

Otis teased cashing in, but Strowman turned around. Otis said he was just joking and hugged Rose. The main event was fine as it was more about showcasing Otis and Strowman as well as teasing Otis cashing in.

Next Week: In a mixed tag team match, Otis & Mandy Rose take on Sonya Deville & Dolph Ziggler. NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair takes on SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley.

Tag Team title match, two segments confirmed for WWE Raw

A Tag Team title match and a couple of segments have been made official for this Monday’s episode of Raw.

WWE has announced that Raw Tag Team Champions Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins will defend their titles against The Revival on the episode. A Miz TV segment with Samoa Joe is also set, and Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre will celebrate Shane’s win against Roman Reigns from Super ShowDown.

Ryder & Hawkins became Raw Tag Team Champions by defeating The Revival on the WrestleMania 35 pre-show. They haven’t had a televised title defense since retaining against The Revival on the Raw after WrestleMania.

The Revival lost to The Usos on the Super ShowDown pre-show this past Friday.

Rey Mysterio relinquished the United States title to Samoa Joe last week, with Mysterio giving up the title due to a shoulder injury. Mysterio had won the title from Samoa Joe at Money in the Bank, though Joe’s shoulder was up when he was pinned.

Before Shane pinned Reigns at Super ShowDown, McIntyre hit a Claymore Kick on Reigns while the referee wasn’t looking. Reigns will face McIntyre at Stomping Grounds in Tacoma, Washington on June 23.

This week’s Raw is taking place at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

Miz TV with Daniel Bryan, contract signing set for WWE SmackDown

The two feuded over the summer and into the fall, with Daniel Bryan getting the better of Miz at WWE Super-Showdown. But given Bryan’s new attitude over the last few weeks, the dynamic may be different.

Meanwhile, a contract signing between Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Asuka will take place. After seemingly becoming friends again shortly before Survivor Series, the mood has changed once more, with Charlotte challenging Becky Lynch to a match at TLC. After a number of other women declared that they wanted an opportunity, a battle royal was made to determine a third challenger. Asuka won that match, last eliminating Sonya Deville. Their match will be conducted under TLC rules.

SmackDown tomorrow night will take place at the Frank Erwin Events Center in Austin, Texas.

WWE tweeted that Miz TV with Nakamura and Mysterio will be on the special.

The U.S. Bank Arena has been advertising that Nakamura will defend his US title against Mysterio at Starrcade. The Miz vs. Rusev is also listed on the most recent advertised card.

This is the second year in a row that WWE has used the Starrcade name for a live event during Thanksgiving weekend. Last year’s Starrcade house show took place in Greensboro, North Carolina. Ric Flair appeared at Starrcade 2017 and is being advertised for a concert segment with Elias this year.

Miz TV with Shane McMahon set for WWE SmackDown

WWE has added another segment to the lineup for tonight’s SmackDown.

Shane McMahon will be appearing on Miz TV to address the “State of the State” after SmackDown was defeated by Raw at Survivor Series. WWE is pushing that SmackDown lost to Raw in every match at the pay-per-view, though SmackDown’s tag team division defeated Raw’s tag team division on the pre-show.

Bryan won the WWE Championship in their match last week after using a low blow and then attacked Styles following the match. There will also be a “Thanksgiving Feast Fight” between The New Day and Cesaro, Sheamus & Big Show tonight.

Miz TV with Rey Mysterio, Rusev vs. English set for WWE SmackDown

WWE has made their first couple of announcements for Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown.

After making his return this past Tuesday and defeating Shinsuke Nakamura in a World Cup qualifying match, Rey Mysterio will be appearing on Miz TV. Rusev vs. Aiden English will also be taking place on the show.

On SmackDown 1000, English interfered and cost Rusev his World Cup qualifying match against The Miz. There was then a post-match angle where Lana gave English a low blow and Rusev attacked him. Their storyline has included English taunting Rusev and Lana with his “One Night in Milwaukee” video, which was ultimately revealed to be Lana declining an advance from English.

The Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey is hosting Tuesday’s SmackDown. Mustafa Ali vs. Hideo Itami in a falls count anywhere match and Mike Kanellis vs. Lince Dorado are set for the 205 Live tapings, and Natalya & Bobby Roode vs. Bayley & Finn Balor and Asuka & Miz vs. Naomi & Jimmy Uso are scheduled for Mixed Match Challenge.

Miz TV with Styles and Bryan added to WWE SmackDown lineup

The post-Super Show-Down episode of SmackDown is taking place at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana tonight.

A Miz TV segment with AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan has been announced for the show. After Styles retained against Samoa Joe and Bryan defeated The Miz in a number one contender’s match on Saturday, Styles defending his WWE Championship against Bryan is set for Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 2.

Tonight’s episode will also feature a SmackDown Women’s Championship rematch between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, along with two World Cup qualifying matches. The stipulation for Lynch vs. Charlotte is that if Lynch gets disqualified, Charlotte wins the title. The story of Lynch vs. Charlotte at Super Show-Down was that Lynch used the title belt as a weapon and got disqualified as Charlotte had her in the Figure Eight.

Big Show vs. Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy vs. Samoa Joe are tonight’s World Cup qualifiers. The tournament is being held at Crown Jewel and will feature eight wrestlers (four from Raw and four from SmackDown). John Cena and Kurt Angle have been confirmed as the first two entrants.

Miz TV with Bryan & Kane, two matches added to WWE SmackDown

A Miz TV segment and two more matches have been added to the lineup for SmackDown’s go-home show for Extreme Rules.

Ahead of challenging for The Bludgeon Brothers’ Tag Team titles on Sunday, Daniel Bryan & Kane will appear on Miz TV to open tonight’s episode. Andrade “Cien” Almas will also face Sin Cara, and Samoa Joe will wrestle Tye Dillinger.

Almas vs. Sin Cara was originally scheduled to take place on the June 12 edition of SmackDown, but it was canceled when WWE explained that, due to Sin Cara suffering a storyline shoulder injury when Almas attacked him the previous week, Sin Cara wasn’t able to compete. Neither has wrestled on SmackDown since, and Almas has only wrestled twice on the show since being called up from NXT. Both of those matches were against enhancement wrestlers.

Sin Cara has been Almas’ regular opponent on house shows, and Almas defeated him in a dark match prior to last week’s episode.

Joe vs. Dillinger was set up in a post-show video last week. R-Truth told Joe that he didn’t stand a chance against Dillinger, Joe asked Dillinger if that was true, and Dillinger challenged him to the match.

WWE Champion AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title match is also advertised for tonight’s SmackDown, along with Asuka vs. James Ellsworth in a lumberjack match. The show is being held at the SNHU Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire.

WWE SmackDown video highlights: Cass replaces Bryan on Miz TV

SmackDown followed up from last week’s Superstar Shakeup and built to the Greatest Royal Rumble and Backlash last night.

Daniel Bryan was supposed to appear on Miz TV, but Big Cass took his spot instead. He explained his issues with Bryan, saying that Bryan being cleared overshadowed his own return from injury. Cass also said he despises Bryan for reminding him of himself when he was a “little guy” and was getting pushed around. After the segment, it was revealed that Bryan had been attacked backstage.

Bryan did an interview later in the show and announced that he’ll be facing Cass at Backlash.

Shinsuke Nakamura teamed with Rusev & Aiden English to face AJ Styles, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson in the main event. And after he got the win for the heels, it was Nakamura who stood tall heading into the Greatest Royal Rumble.

Carmella and Charlotte Flair also had a contract signing for their title match at Backlash, and Peyton Royce & Billie Kay picked up a win over Becky Lynch & Asuka.
