Former WWE wrestlers Mandy Rose & Tino Sabbatelli get married

Mandy Rose and Tino Sabbatelli are married.

People Magazine covered their wedding ceremony in an exclusive report. The former WWE wrestlers were wed on Saturday at the Park Chateau Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick, New Jersey.

“Sabby and I have been through a lot together, and many of our family and friends over at WWE know firsthand how we had a lot of trials and tribulations,” Rose told People. “But God knew that we belonged together, so in the end it was destined, and I know it sounds cliché but ‘everything happens for a reason.'”

“Marrying the love of my life was a dream come true,” Sabbatelli said. “I love her passion, determination and the similar morals and values we share. Mandy is such a strong independent woman that I immediately fell in love with and knew she was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.”

215 guests attended the wedding including WWE stars Sonya Deville, Cora Jade, Jacy Jayne, and Roxanne Perez. Other guests included Indi Hartwell, CJ Perry, MMA star Rashad Evans, and former NFL linebacker Ray Lewis.

The couple are planning a honeymoon in the Maldives and have expressed an interest in starting a family.

Mandy Rose announced for BLP DraftKings Wrestling Combine

Former WWE NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Sacs (FKA Mandy Rose) will make a rare wrestling-related appearance for Black Label Pro at Crowning Glory.

BLP announced Wednesday that Sacs will take part in the DraftKings Wrestling Combine at their Crowning Glory event set for Wednesday, September 4.

Sacs joins Ash by Elegance (FKA Dana Brooke), Mike Rallis (FKA Riddick Moss), Jordynne Grace, Parker Boudreaux, Xia Zhao (FKA Xia Li), and Moose as the talent announced for the Wrestling Combine.

The Combine will showcase four men and four women squaring off in a series of athletic contests to determine the best overall athlete.

BLP Crowning Glory will also feature an appearance from WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler, Mustafa Ali vs. Sabin Gauge, plus the former Jinder Mahal (Raj Dhesi) defending the BLP Championship against “Filthy” Tom Lawlor.

Sacs has not wrestled since leaving WWE in December 2022 after the company released her from her contract due to risqué content she posted to a subscription service. She has stated that she would need to receive “the right call” to get back in the ring.

Mandy Rose addresses possibility of in-ring return

While being interviewed by TMZ, former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose addressed whether she’s interested in making an in-ring return.

TMZ asked Rose if we could see her back in the ring at some point, whether that’s with WWE or somewhere else. Rose said she does miss performing, but she’s keeping herself super busy outside of pro wrestling. Rose said that, for her to consider coming back, she would need to receive “the right call.”

Listen, I do miss performing. I miss the camaraderie. I miss that adrenaline rush for sure. I can’t sit here and say I don’t miss it. However, I am keeping myself super busy, to not have to really have to think about it as much. But I don’t know about the future. I am a free agent now, I’ve mentioned across social media which kind of got out everywhere. But if the right call comes around and I feel like making an appearance and kind of coming back to any kind of wrestling federation out there, I’m not saying it’s a ‘no,’ but right now I’m pretty busy, so it’s gotta be the right call.

Rose was released by WWE last December. Her release was due to risqué content she was posting on a fan subscription service.

Rose told TMZ that the money she’s making on OnlyFans is “kind of life-changing.”

“It’s been kind of life-changing, I must say,” Rose said. “I’m really blessed, but I will say that I have a lot of financial freedom right now, which is really amazing. That’s why I’m so grateful that I’m able to help my family right now and kind of rejuvenate their business they got going on, and just continue with my future. So, it’s been pretty lucrative, not gonna lie.”

Rose’s family owns an Italian deli in New York.

TMZ’s interview with Rose is available to watch below:

Mandy Rose may have considered dropping FanTime if WWE had given notice

Former WWE NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose told the New York Post she may have considered taking down her popular FanTime account if given the notice to do so.

In an interview with the Post, Rose recounted how she was released by WWE in December following the company having an issue with her photos on a subscription account they deemed too adult for their liking.

According to Rose, she wasn’t told she was being let go for racy images, but mainly “about the subscription-based platform.” WWE has had policies in the past regarding their talents using third-party services independent of any partnerships the company has.

She reiterated that she has made more than $1 million from her FanTime account since being released and would have liked to do both.

“I am grateful and very humbled with everything I’ve done and made at the company (WWE) but in today’s day and age, there are so many other avenues and so many other marketing opportunities, it’s like why can’t I do both?”

She took umbrage with WWE being ok with posting a picture of her on social media with two title belts, but not ok with what she was doing on her own.

“What’s the definition of racy? The photo of me with two titles – I was completely naked underneath, that’s considered a racy photo, right?”

She also was disappointed in how she lost the WWE NXT Women’s title with “zero storytelling and zero promotion.”

For me to lose the title on such a whim on a random Tuesday night with zero storytelling and zero promotion leading up to the match was a shocker. I was very caught off guard.”

Mandy Rose says she was ‘hurt’ and ‘disappointed’ by WWE release

During a Tuesday appearance on the “Tamron Hall” talk show, Mandy Rose opened up about her release from WWE for the first time.

The 32-year-old Rose (real name Amanda Saccomanno) was released from WWE on December 14, which was less than 24 hours after she lost the NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez. The reason for Rose’s release was adult-themed content that she was posting on her FanTime subscription service.

Rose told Hall that she was “very hurt” and “very disappointed” by her release. Rose said it’s been really crazy the last few months, but she’s incredibly grateful and blessed for everything that has happened to her.

Rose said she didn’t know the reason she was dropping the NXT Women’s Championship when her match against Perez happened. The match was originally supposed to take place at January’s NXT New Year’s Evil event but was moved up to December. Rose said she was shocked about losing the title when she did, but she also had “some inclination” about the situation.

Rose said she was never told that her FanTime page was why she was released. When asked about rumors that she was warned about the content, Rose said there was one warning and she complied with it.

Rose noted at a couple of points during the interview that there’s “some confidentiality” associated with her release.

Rose expressed gratitude for her time in WWE and for the support she’s received from her fans. Hall asked Rose if she would want to return to WWE in the future.

“I would say, obviously, never say never. I’m not moving on and looking back and being like — yes, that is my past. Never say never. I don’t know what the future holds,” Rose said.

Rose was then asked if she would take down her FanTime page as a condition of returning to WWE.

“It would have to be a conversation,” Rose replied.

Rose said she’s learned that her name, image, and likeness is extremely valuable, and now she can self-monetize, have complete brand control, and have a direct relationship with her fans. Rose said learning that was a moment of empowerment for her.

Earlier this month, FanTime congratulated Rose on making $1 million on the service during the month of December. Rose told Hall that she could have made that kind of money in WWE longterm, but she’s made more on FanTime than she could have made in WWE right now.

Mandy Rose to address WWE firing on ‘Tamron Hall’ talk show

Former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose is set to address her WWE release for the first time.

Rose (real name Amanda Saccomanno) will appear as a guest on this Tuesday’s edition of “Tamron Hall,” which is a syndicated talk show that airs on ABC stations. The description for the episode states that Rose will address her “controversial firing” from WWE in an exclusive interview with Hall.

Tamron has an exclusive interview with former WWE’s MANDY SACCOMANNO addressing her controversial firing from the WWE. Five-time Grammy and Emmy nominee, actress and comedian MARGARET CHO stops by to chat about her new comedy tour ‘Live and LIVID.’ Plus, an All-New Shop Tam Fam!!

Rose tweeted about the appearance: “So excited for this! Everyone tune in to hear my story!”

The 32-year-old Rose was released from WWE on December 14. Adult-themed photos and videos that Rose posted on her FanTime subscription service led to her being released by WWE.

Rose was released less than 24 hours after dropping the NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez. The Rose vs. Perez title match was originally supposed to happen in January but was moved up because Rose was being released.

Rose’s reign as NXT Women’s Champion lasted for 413 days before losing the title to Perez.

Earlier this month, FanTime congratulated Rose on making $1 million on the service during the month of December.

FanTime congratulates Mandy Rose for earning $1 million in December

Mandy Rose’s FanTime page earned a million dollars last month.

FanTime took to Instagram over the weekend to congratulate the former NXT Women’s Champion on the achievement.

“Congratulations to @mandysacs for making 1 Million $$$ in a month! Finished 2022 like a champ,” the company wrote on Instagram.

Rose was released from WWE on December 14, 2022, due to the increasingly adult-themed content she was posting to the account. The following week, her agent said Rose had earned $500,000 from FanTime since being let go.

Rose posted the following to Instagram on Sunday:

Wow … what a year it’s been honestly … the severe HIGHs and LOWs .. but I’m grateful and blessed for everyone that has been there for me and everything always happens for a reason! ❤️ Thank you #2022 and excited for what’s to come in 2023 !! #HappyNewYear

Also had so many more memories to add but the song stopped! Lolll

NXT’s Roxanne Perez on Mandy Rose: ‘One of the best and sweetest humans I’ve ever met’

Roxanne Perez says Mandy Rose has always been “so sweet” to her ever since she got to NXT.

The new NXT Women’s Champion was speaking with BT Sport when she referred to Rose as “one of the best and sweetest humans” she’s ever known.

Perez said:

“Mandy is so amazing. She honestly is one of the best and sweetest humans I’ve ever met. Since the moment I stepped into NXT, it’s nerve-wracking to be surrounded by people that you’ve been inspired by and one of my first few matches was against her for the NXT Women’s Championship. She’s always been so sweet to me, she’s always given me the best advice. Before and after the match, she gave me a big hug and we were both crying together. It was cool because she was really happy that she was able to pass it down to me. I’ve gotten so close to her within the last few months. No matter what, she’s going to be amazing, she’s going to do amazing things.”

Perez also appeared on an episode of After the Bell with Corey Graves released Friday. During the discussion, she was asked about having defeated Rose to win the NXT Women’s Championship.

Perez said:

“I’m sure as everybody saw, as soon as that bell rang, I just burst into tears and they were real tears. I think all the trials and tribulations and everything that I went through since I was 13 years old to get to this moment started replaying in my head and I just thought that all of those moments, even the super bad moments, they were so worth it.”

She was also asked about having won the Ring of Honor Women’s Championship and how it compared to winning the title in NXT.

“Winning the Ring of Honor Championship, that was so surreal just because of the fact that it made me realize that all of my dreams could truly be possible. Obviously, my biggest dream was becoming a WWE Champion but becoming the first ever Ring of Honor Champion at 19 years old, it just clicked and I realized all of my wildest dreams are still possible and it honestly just kind of lit a bigger fire in me to just keep going so I can get to that end goal. I still have so many other goals here in the WWE but just accomplishing that one is amazing.”

Perez also spoke about having struggled with her mental health previously.

“I have struggled with mental health. I struggle with anxiety almost on a daily basis. I’ve struggled with depression before. The cool thing about it is that my family has always been very open about going to therapy and just talking about your feelings. I’m so grateful to have grown up with that. I’ve seen my parents struggle with it as well and completely become so much better after therapy and journaling and talking. So, I think it’s really important especially now, especially after the pandemic. I think that’s when a lot of people were really, really struggling, cause I know I was. For me, wrestling was completely taken away from me and that’s all I knew literally my whole life. To just be stuck home having that taken away, it was pretty hard because it was like, ‘Who actually am I without wrestling?’ That was a little self-reflecting journey that I had to go through during the pandemic.”

She was also asked about the influence Booker T has had on her career.

“I’ve always been such a little mark so the first time I met Booker I was like, ‘oh my gosh, this is so crazy.’ Just being able to learn from him and pick his brain and before and after all my matches, I’d go up to him and be like, ‘Hey, do you have any advice for me? What can I do better?’ And he’d always be so open to just help me with anything he could. I’m so grateful for him, he honestly is like a dad.”

Mandy Rose has made $500,000 on FanTime since WWE release

The agent for now-former WWE NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose says his client has made a lot of money since her firing from WWE last week.

Talking to TMZ, First Round Management’s Malki Kawa said Rose has earned $500,000 from her FanTime account since being fired for posing controversial adult photos on the subscription website. Kawa also said he predicts Rose will be a self-made millionaire by Christmas.

FRM manages several wrestlers including Rose, Johnny Gargano, Indi Hartwell, Valerie Loureda and others.

After more than a year as the NXT Women’s Champion, Rose lost her title to Roxanne Perez on last Tuesday’s NXT in a title match moved up from the originally scheduled January 10th date. According to Dave Meltzer, Matt Bloom brought up what Rose had been posting to Shawn Michaels who then made the call to remove the title from her immediately.

The 32-year-old has been with WWE since 2015, making her main roster debut in 2017. She returned to NXT in July 2021 and won the title at that year’s Halloween Havoc.

After being released, Rose thanked fans for all the support, and increased the price for access to her account this week.

December 19, 2022 Observer Newsletter: Vince McMahon wants back in WWE, Mandy Rose released

Vince McMahon is looking to get back into power in WWE according to a story in the Wall Street Journal that was confirmed by several sources within WWE.

It has also become a major subject among WWE talent and employees.

The story also noted that on 11/3, a lawyer for former 80s referee Rita Chatterton had sent a demand for $11.75 million to McMahon’s attorney, Jerry McDevitt, stemming from her claim of a raping incident in the back of McMahon’s limo. The Wall Street Journal was given a copy of the letter.

They also reported a lawyer representing a former spa manager sent a legal letter to McDevitt, which claimed McMahon assaulted her client in 2011 at a California resort. This story had never gotten out previously.

McDevitt did not talk to the Journal nor did McDevitt nor WWE spokespeople return inquiries from us on the subject.

The story noted that previous misconduct stories they had written about McMahon led to federal investigations.

Mandy Rose ‘overwhelmed with all the love and support’ after WWE release

Mandy Rose says she appreciates all the fan support and love she has received since her release from WWE.

According to PWInsider, Rose posted the following to her FanTime page under the username Mandy Sacs:

“Hey guys, thank you for all the messages. I am overwhelmed with all the love and support from you guys. And don’t worry the page is still up! ;)”

Rose was released from WWE on Wednesday after having been with the company since 2015. WWE decided to part ways with her due to the increasingly suggestive nature of the content she posted to her site. The issue was addressed recently by our own Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio

“What happened was I guess there was a meeting and Matt Bloom brought to Shawn Michaels, told him what some of the stuff that she’s been putting on her subscription service. She does not have an OnlyFans, it is a subscription service. [Bloom] told Shawn what was there and Shawn’s immediate thing was, ‘we have to get the title off of her immediately.’ Switched around the whole show, got the title off of her.”

“Right after they got the title from her, then they fired her,” he continued.

“She’s had the subscription service and it got popular and lucrative. She went further and further and the feeling was that she way, way, way crossed the line. They believe that they had absolutely no choice but to get rid of her in that situation. Again, everyone’s situation is different. They promised sponsors a cleaner product as far as who the people are.”
