Los Garza are competing for AAA’s Tag Team titles.
During AAA’s live show on Saturday, a video package aired featuring Legado del Fantasma. It was revealed that Angel & Berto would be competing for the AAA Tag Team titles against champions Nueva Generacion Dinamita (Forastero & Sanson) at Triplemania Regia on June 15 in Monterrey.
In the promo, Escobar said that Los Garza winning the titles would be the first step in a three-step plan for Legado Del Fantasma. He also declared he would soon make his return to AAA, and hinted his plans were to challenge for AAA’s top title, the Mega title. Hijo del Vikingo won that title in the main event of Saturday’s show, defeating Alberto El Patron to become champion for a second time.
Legado Del Fantasma is set to compete at WWE AAA Worlds Collide on June 7, where they will take on Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown.
AAA Triplemania lineup for June 15, 2025:
La Parka, Laredo Kid, & Octagon Jr. vs. Los Vipers (Abismo Negro Jr. & Taurus) & a mystery partner
AAA Tag Team titles: Nueva Generacion Dinamita (Forastero & Sanson) defend against Los Garza (Angel & Berto)
El Fiscal, Mr. Iguana, and Nino Hamburguesa vs. SB Kento, Takuma, and Nobu San
This week’s WWE Main Event was taped at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri before Monday’s episode of Raw.
Katana Chance & Kayden Carter defeated Chelsea Green & Piper Niven (5:14)
This was fine, but a tepid crowd throughout made for a tag match that ended up being pretty much what you would expect.
Green and Niven double-teamed Carter in the early going, as they cut the ring in half, talked trash, and got their shots in.
Niven missed a cannonball to the corner so that Chance could get a hot tag and then the match got pretty good.
They went back and forth with both teams having to break up pins, first Niven and then Chance. When Carter ducked, Niven caught Green with a running clothesline and so Carter followed it up with a superkick.
Chance and Carter then combined to hit the After Party on Green who is now joining the SmackDown touring roster and so you would think won’t be doing too many Main Event shows for a while now.
The Creed Brothers defeated Legardo Del Fantasma (5:57)
You would be forgiven for expecting a little more out of a tag match between these four, but the Creeds were entertaining once again. Surely it is only a matter of time before they get some main roster television work.
You have to go back a long time to find episodes of Main Event with Carrillo and Garza in action together. It was November 2021 when they were last working on the Raw crew and the pair had a run of excellent performances on the show.
Much like their bouts over previous weeks, the match was built around a hot tag after the break. The Creeds took the early going until the heels used a blind tag so that Garza could nail Julius with a high knee to clear the ring and send us to the ads.
After Julius was briefly in peril, hung in the tree of woe, they got the hot tag to Brutus. This is what most of their matches are like on this show, sort of exhibition pieces that get the pre-Raw crowd pepped up for the main show.
We had suplexes galore, including a Northern Lights, and then two Brutus Bombs got it done – one to Garza outside and the one to defeat Carillo on the mat.
Fun while it lasted, but I had hoped for something a little more spicy.
The Judgment Day are set to battle Legado del Fantasma on SmackDown tonight.
A six-man tag match with Finn Balor, Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio facing Santos Escobar, Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde has been added to the lineup for tonight’s SmackDown. The show is taking place at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh.
Escobar has recently been feuding with Dominik over Dominik’s disrespect of Rey Mysterio. Last week, Dominik defeated Escobar in a singles match after involvement by Rhea Ripley. Ripley interfered in the match and hit Rip Tide on Escobar while the referee was distracted. After the match, Dominik tore up a mask that Rey had given to Escobar.
Despite Dominik tearing up the mask, Rey still refused to attack his son. Dominik pushed Rey over when Rey went to pick up the mask.
Here’s the updated card for tonight’s SmackDown:
Jey Uso appears
Number one contender’s fatal five-way match: Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus vs. Xavier Woods vs. LA Knight vs. Karrion Kross (winner challenges for Gunther’s Intercontinental title at WrestleMania 39)
Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio) vs. Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde)
Legado Del Fantasma have arrived on the WWE main roster, alongside the returning Zelina Vega.
The Legado Del Fantasma trio of Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro made their SmackDown debut on Friday’s episode at the storyline behest of Zelina Vega, attacking Hit Row and leaving them laying.
Legado Del Fantasma was formed in the summer of 2020 on the NXT brand, with Escobar, Wilde, and Del Toro. Elektra Lopez was added to the group in August 2021, but has seemingly been dropped from the group in favor of Vega.
Escobar lost a match to Tony D’Angelo at NXT Heatwave on August 16 of this year, with the stipulation that he would leave the brand with the defeat. On the following week’s NXT episode, Escobar invited the rest of the stable to leave with him, stating that he was not going to leave them behind.
Vega’s return to television comes after a nearly six-month absence. She last wrestled on the April 11 episode of Raw, then appeared on the April 25 episode in a non-wrestling role. She was reportedly sidelined due to an injury that required surgery.
Three matches have been announced for the October 11 WWE NXT episode.
In a tune-up match prior to Halloween Havoc, NXT Champion Bron Breakker will face “Big Body Javy” Javier Bernal in a non-title match next week. The match was set up on this week’s episode, where Bernal interrupted a Breakker interview backstage. Breakker is set to defend the NXT title against Ilja Dragunov and JD McDonagh in a triple threat match at Halloween Havoc on October 22.
The best-of-three series between Nathan Frazer and Axiom will conclude on next week’s show. Each has one victory in the series. The winner will also qualify for the North American Championship ladder match at Halloween Havoc.
In another bout for next week, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo will face Wes Lee in singles competition.
Next week’s card:
Bron Breakker vs. Javier Bernal
Best-of-three series finale, Halloween Havoc North American Championship qualifying match: Nathan Frazer vs. Axiom
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer gave an update on wrestlers who could be coming to the WWE main roster.
Meltzer confirmed that, as indicated on NXT this week, the entirety of Legado del Fantasma is being brought up to the main roster. Meltzer also mentioned Solo Sikoa and Indi Hartwell as names who have been talked about for call-ups.
“The entire Legado group, with Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro and Elektra Lopez, is going to the main roster,” Meltzer wrote. “Other names that have been talked about in that regard are Solo Sikoa and Indi Hartwell, although no time frame for either.”
There was a segment on NXT this Tuesday where Escobar picked up Wilde, Del Toro, and Lopez in the parking lot. Escobar said he wasn’t going to leave NXT without them.
In storyline, Escobar was banned from NXT as a stipulation of losing to Tony D’Angelo at Heatwave last week.
PWInsider reported on Thursday that Sikoa “could be main roster bound in the very near future, possibly as soon as next month.”
Dexter Lumis, who returned to WWE on Raw earlier this month, made an appearance on NXT this week and reunited with Hartwell. He left Hartwell a note that said goodbye “for now.”
It’s not over between Santos Escobar and Tony D’Angelo.
Escobar returned to NXT TV on Tuesday night, interrupting an NXT Tag Team title match between The Creed Brothers and Tony D’Angelo and Stacks. The finish had Elektra Lopez give D’Angelo a crowbar. He grabbed it, but soon realized someone else was grabbing it. That person turned out to be Santos Escobar. Stunned, D’Angleo instead walked into the Creed Brothers, who soon got the victory and retained their titles.
Later in the show, Escobar called a fuming D’Angelo, taunting him over the loss. Both of them eventually agreed to one more meeting by themselves without their seconds.
Back at NXT In Your House on June 4, Legado del Fantasma lost to the D’Angelo family and as a result were forced to join D’Angleo’s family. A few weeks later, D’Angelo revealed that Escobar was hospitalized and would be out of action. In recent weeks, it seemed as if Legado del Fantasma had grown used to their new roles, helping Tony D’Angelo score wins. D’Angleo in particular had praised Lopez for her output in the group.
Legado Del Fantasma now has to work under Tony D’Angelo as a result of tonight’s loss at NXT In Your House.
D’Angelo, Stacks, and Two Dimes defeated Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Cruz del Toro, and Joaquin Wilde) in the opener of tonight’s NXT In Your House event. The finish of the match had Wilde using D’Angelo’s pipe to attack Stacks, but D’Angelo was able to get Santos’ brass knuckles and struck Wilde with them. A knocked-out Stacks then fell on Wilde, pinning him in the process and scoring the win for his team. Per the stipulation agreed to, Legado del Fantasma now has to join Tony D’Angelo’s group.
The two groups have been feuding in the weeks following Stand and Deliver, which have included kidnappings from both sides. On the May 17 edition of NXT, Escobar defeated D’Angelo in a singles match.
On this week’s NXT, the two groups met on a yacht to discuss the stipulations for the match. It was agreed that whichever team lost, they would have to join the other team.

Rey and Dominik Mysterio appeared on tonight’s NXT, with Dominik competing in a match.
The Mysterios first appeared in a backstage segment, walking up to Legado Del Fantasma during an interview. Santos Escobar said that he would be the one that would break all of Rey’s records. Rey disagreed, saying it would be Dominik who would break his records. The two groups argued until Dominik challenged anyone from Legado Del Fantasma to a match.
Later, Raul Mendoza and Dominik had a match, with Dominik winning after a 619 and a frog splash.
Rey and Dominik Mysterio are set to face Logan Paul and The Miz on Saturday, April 2 at WrestleMania 38. The Miz appeared in the opening segment of the show, hosting Miz TV with special guest Dolph Ziggler. The interview was interrupted by LA Knight, who challenged Dolph Ziggler to a NXT title match on tonight’s show. Ziggler agreed, eventually defeating Knight following a superkick.
These two had a fine match. It opened with a playful headlock takedown back and forth. Dante Chen transitioned from a headlock into a suplex that left him in a strong position for some time. Javier Bernal turned the match around with a roll-up attempt, catching Chen off guard, and leading to an extended sequence on his end.
Bernal’s offense ended abruptly as Chen reversed a monkey flip into a pin, bringing the match to a close.
Tiffany Stratton defeated Erica Yan
Again, this match was fine.
The fact that Tiffany Stratton’s character isn’t a 20-year-old act still blows my mind. It would feel dated in 2005, but here we are.
Erica Yan outplayed Stratton early, scoring a takedown before dragging her in circles by her ankle. Stratton fought back by slamming Yan into the middle turnbuckle and sitting on her. Stratton lost a lock of hair at some point, which she used to smack Yan.
Yan finally escaped a hammerlock and turned things in her favor. Yan tried for a suplex, but Stratton blocked it. Stratton followed up by tossing Yan to the mat and hitting a standing moonsault. To finish the match, Stratton hit a good looking spinning splash.
Legado del Fantasma (Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde) defeated Malik Blade & Edris Enofe
This was a cute little match to close the show. I enjoyed the thematic leg work and its overall simplicity.
These two teams also faced off in this year’s men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, with Malik Blade & Edris Enofe upsetting Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde in the first round.
Blade and Enofe gained an early lead by isolating Mendoza. The duo maintained their advantage as Wilde entered the fray. This lasted until Mendoza threatened Blade, providing Wilde with an opportunity to turn things around. Mendoza and Wilde took full advantage, connecting with ample double-team offense while working to sequester Blade.
Blade had his leg targeted for quite some time. When the hot tag finally came, Enofe ran through Legado del Fantasma. After scoring a near fall on Mendoza, Enofe locked in a single-leg Boston crab, delivering some just desserts. Enofe then climbed to the top, but he was distracted by Elektra Lopez before he could close the match. An enzuigiri brought Enofe back to the mat. Legado del Fantasma then hit Enofe with their held-in-place kick finish to bring this match to an end.
A Dusty Classic rematch will headline this week’s episode of NXT Level Up.
WWE has announced that Malik Blade & Edris Enofe vs. Legado del Fantasma’s Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde will air on NXT Level Up this Friday. This will be the third episode of the show since it replaced 205 Live.
In the opening round of this year’s men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, Blade & Enofe got an upset win against Mendoza & Wilde. Blade & Enofe went on to lose to MSK in the semifinals of the tournament.
Dante Chen vs. Javier Bernal and Erica Yan vs. Tiffany Stratton will also take place on Level Up this week.
Chen has recently been feuding with Duke Hudson on NXT. Hudson defeated him on NXT last week.
On this Tuesday’s NXT, Stratton was involved in a segment with Sarray. She called Sarray’s necklace “a little tacky.”
Bernal made his WWE debut on an episode of 205 Live in January, while Yan debuted on the show last November.
NXT Level Up airs on Peacock/WWE Network at 10 p.m. Eastern time on Fridays. The show features some of NXT’s “brightest young talent as they look to make a name for themselves and begin their climb to the top of NXT 2.0.”
In the main event of last night’s NXT, Bron Breakker teamed with the man who he defeated to win the NXT Championship.
Breakker & Ciampa defeated Legado del Fantasma’s Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde on last night’s show. After Ciampa took out Wilde by pushing him off the top rope and through the announce table, Breakker pinned Mendoza after hitting a powerslam.
The match was set up when Ciampa stopped Legado del Fantasma from trying to attack Breakker last week.
Santos Escobar acted like he was going to step to Breakker after last night’s match. Breakker challenged Escobar to get into the ring, but Escobar continued to say that they’re going to do things on his time.
On last night’s NXT, Tommaso Ciampa returned to the show for the first time since losing the NXT Championship to Bron Breakker at New Year’s Evil.
Ciampa provided some backup for Breakker last night, saving him from an attack by Legado del Fantasma in the parking lot. Breakker & Ciampa will team together against Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde next week.
Santos Escobar cut a promo last night saying that he despises how fast Breakker got to NXT, despises all of the opportunities Breakker has been given, and despises the fact that Breakker won the NXT Championship before him. Breakker came out to the ring and told Escobar to issue the challenge for a title match and he’d accept, but Escobar said they’d do things on his time. When Escobar is ready, Breakker will know.
Mendoza and Wilde then attempted to attack Breakker, but he fought both of them off.
A tag team match with Breakker taking on Mendoza & Wilde was set up for next week, with Escobar saying that Breakker will have to face them on his own unless he’s able to find a friend.
Legado del Fantasma were going to ambush Breakker in the parking lot at the end of the episode, but Ciampa showed up and stood side-by-side with Breakker before they could attack. The show ended with Legado del Fantasma retreating.
A pair of matches with NXT WarGames implications are set for next Tuesday’s episode of NXT
WWE has announced that a ladder match between Kay Lee Ray and Dakota Kai will take place on NXT next Tuesday. The winner will earn the WarGames entrance order advantage for their team.
Io Shirai, Raquel Gonzalez, Cora Jade & Kay Lee Ray are facing Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne & Kai in a WarGames match at NXT WarGames on Sunday, December 5.
A tag team number one contender’s match with Kyle O’Reilly & Von Wagner facing Legado del Fantasma (Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde) has also been announced for next Tuesday’s NXT. The winning team will challenge Imperium (Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner) for the NXT Tag Team titles at NXT WarGames.
Barthel & Aichner won the NXT Tag Team titles from MSK at Halloween Havoc last month.
Next Tuesday’s NXT is the go-home show for NXT WarGames. “Joe Gacy’s all-inclusive invitational” will also take place on the episode. Gacy is challenging for Roderick Strong’s Cruiserweight Championship at NXT WarGames.
