Brooke Hogan regrets being cut from Hulk Hogan’s will

Hulk Hogan’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, feels that while walking away from his will felt right at that point in time, she regrets doing it now.

Last year, in 2025, the Hall of Famer passed away in his home in Florida. An integral part of the pro-wrestling and entertainment industry, Hogan’s passing away became worldwide news. Soon after, his daughter Brooke Hogan also opened up and shared her statements on his death.

Months after Hogan’s passing away, she recently appeared on the Hollywood Raw Podcast with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn, where she opened up about removing herself from Hogan’s will. Justifying the action, Hogan claimed that she did it fearing for her safety and not because she did not want the money.

There were situations that had me so scared,” she said. “I really took myself off the will because I was actually scared for myself, my family, my safety.”

There’s not enough money in the world that would matter with what I felt I was facing,” she said. “I regret that decision,” she added. “Not because of the money — I’ve never been about the money — but because now I don’t have a seat at the table.”

Hogan passed away at the age of 71 in his Florida home after suffering a cardiac arrest. WWE recently honored his legacy by unveiling a new bronze Hogan statue, while Netflix is also set to release a documentary celebrating his life and career.

New Hulk Hogan statue revealed at WWE World

WWE honors Hulk Hogan’s legacy before WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

At WWE World during WrestleMania 42 weekend, Triple H, Hogan’s son Nick Hogan, and Jimmy Hart unveiled the brand new Hulk Hogan statue.

Triple H shared the statue and pictures from the reveal with the caption, “Immortal.” Hogan, often known by his nickname, “The Immortal One,” has now been immortalized by WWE, months after his passing away last year. The bronze statue features Hogan’s signature ear cup and a bronzed American flag.

Currently, WWE is also hosting a Hulkamania Forever exhibit at WWE World, which features his gear, memorabilia, interactive elements, and much more. The exhibit was recently visited by his son, Nick Hogan, who posed with the items there and cherished his late father’s legacy.

WWE will continue to honor Hogan’s legacy this year by inducting his WrestleMania 3 match against Andre the Giant at the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame as this year’s Immortal Moment. Netflix is also set to release a documentary based on Hogan’s life and career on April 22, 2026.

Netflix announces ‘Hulk Hogan: Real American’ docuseries

Netflix has dropped the trailer for the ‘Hulk Hogan: Real American’ docuseries, which is set to premiere on April 22.

The four-part docuseries provides an insight into Hogan’s childhood, wrestling career and transition to a pop culture icon. It also features what turned out to be Hogan’s final recorded interview.

Hogan passed away on July 24, 2025, due to a cardiac arrest at the age of 71. He rose to stardom in WWE during his run in the 1980s. The launch of Hulkamania became a significant part of both wrestling history and his career.

Hogan was among the first wrestlers to crossover into Hollywood and gain mainstream recognition.
Last month, WWE announced Hogan’s match against Andre The Giant at WrestleMania III into the Hall of Fame. Hogan was inducted into the Hall of Fame for his contributions as a singles competitor in 2005 by Sylvester Stallone. He was later inducted again in 2020 as a part of the nWo with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.

WWE inducting Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant match into Hall of Fame

Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant from WrestleMania III is the second match to ever earn a WWE Hall of Fame induction.

It was announced today that the WrestleMania III main event — where Hogan defeated Andre to retain the WWF Championship — will receive the WWE Immortal Moment Award at the April 17 Hall of Fame ceremony in Las Vegas. The award, established in 2025, exists to recognize the most important matches in WWE history. Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart from WrestleMania 13 was the first match to be inducted.

WrestleMania III took place at Michigan’s Pontiac Silverdome in 1987 and still stands as one of the biggest shows in WWE history, with the company forever replaying the moment where Hogan slammed Andre.

Inducting this match gives WWE the opportunity to honor Hogan after his death in July 2025. He first joined the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005 and later was inducted again as a member of the nWo.

Following Andre’s passing in 1993, he was recognized as the first-ever inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Dolby Live at Park MGM in Vegas is hosting the Hall of Fame ceremony on the Friday of WrestleMania 42 week. Here is the updated list of honorees:

2026 WWE Hall of Fame class —

  • Stephanie McMahon
  • AJ Styles
  • Demolition (Ax & Smash)
  • Dennis Rodman
  • Sid Vicious (posthumously being inducted as a Legacy Award winner)
  • Bad News Brown (posthumously being inducted as a Legacy Award winner)
  • WWE Immortal Moment Award: Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant from WrestleMania III

Hulk Hogan Netflix docuseries moving forward

A docuseries on Hulk Hogan is moving forward to Netflix.

During an interview with John Ourand on The Varsity podcast, Netflix’s Vice President of Sports Gabe Spitzer confirmed that a documentary series on the WWE Hall of Famer would be one of their upcoming documentary projects alongside projects on other sports icons such as Mike Tyson and Deion Sanders.

Following Hogan’s death in July, it had been reported by Puck News that a Hulk Hogan docuseries had been in the works since 2024, and over 20 hours of new interviews featuring Hogan were filmed before his passing.

“The Hulkster died mid-documentary: Hulk Hogan, who died today at 71, will be remembered for mainstreaming pro wrestling and bringing down Gawker,” Matthew Belloni of Puck wrote. “He also left behind an unfinished docuseries on his life that Netflix has quietly been working on since last year, per sources. Director Bryan Storkel and producer Connor Schell’s Words + Pictures have been collaborating with WWE and Hogan on the multipart series, which will include more than 20 hours of new interviews with Hogan that were shot before his passing. There’s no release date yet.”

WWE has a strong relationship currently with Netflix, which airs Raw every Monday. In addition, a new season of the behind-the-scenes docuseries WWE Unreal is set to premiere on January 20.

The Josh Nason’s Punch-Out pro wrestling year in review series continues with a stop in July — arguably the busiest month of the year when it came to news.

That’s because Hulk Hogan passed away which brought out a lot of big feelings, memories and a lot of mainstream media attention.

The month also featured AEW All In which saw Hangman Page end the night as World Champion in addition to a lot of newsworthy happenings.

July also saw the retirement of Bill Goldberg on the same show in which Seth Rollins got “injured” which also saw its own torrent of speculation, news, and conjecture.

Helping me sift through that and a few hundred headlines is returning guest Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net which includes the rest of the news in AEW, WWE, NXTNAAA, Japan, Mexico and more.

Hulk Hogan’s widow denies Ric Flair’s ‘street drugs’ death claim

Hulk Hogan’s family is denying Ric Flair’s claims regarding his death.

Hogan’s widow Sky told TMZ Sports on Monday that Flair’s allegations that street drugs caused his death were not true.

“That didn’t happen at all,” she said.

Sky said that Hogan was under constant care of Morton Plant Hospital in Florida, and the only changes to Hogan’s medicine came following his neck procedure to make sure whatever he was taking didn’t impact his lungs. TMZ additionally asked other family sources about Flair’s claim who also denied the allegations.

On social media, Ric Flair said he should have never mentioned it and asked to move past the incident so Hogan’s legacy can be focused on instead.

“Okay Sky! I Got Bad Information According To You,” he wrote. “I Should Have Never Mentioned It. I Have Known Hogan Since 1979. Let’s Just Move Past This And Concentrate On His Legacy. Period, End Of Story. Let’s PRESERVE HIS LEGACY Rather Than Dwell On Any Negative Energy. I Repeat- Hulkamania Forever!”

Flair claimed in a recent interview that Hogan’s death was due to “street drugs” he sought out after doctors stopped prescribing him medicine for pain. Flair later posted on social media said he was only repeating what he knew to be a fact through family members.

Hogan died on July 24, with his official cause of death being listed as a heart attack. It has been previously reported that Sky is looking to file a malpractice lawsuit against “at least one of [Hogan’s] doctors and others” over an operation that took place shortly before his passing.

Ric Flair clarifies comments about Hulk Hogan’s death and ‘street drugs’

Ric Flair wants everyone to know that he was only repeating what he’d been told when he made recent statements regarding the death of his friend Hulk Hogan.

During a recent interview with the Double Coverage podcast, Flair stated that Hogan’s death was due to “street drugs” he sought out after doctors stopped prescribing him medication for pain. Flair said, “I shouldn’t say this, but what killed him was street drugs.”

On Friday, Flair posted a statement to social media saying that he was only repeating what he heard from family members when he made the comments.

Flair wrote:

“There Seems To Be Some Controversy Over My Remarks That Street Drugs Killed Hulk Hogan. I Only Was Repeating What I Know To Be A Fact Through Family Members. After 11 Back Surgeries, Hip Replacements, Knee Replacements, Shoulder Replacement, And Two Neck Surgeries, I Am Sure The Pain Was Unbearable.”

“A Doctor As I Know Can Only Prescribe So Much Pain Medication Under Medical Guidelines. I’ve Been Told That All They Did Was To Help Him Not To Hurt Him. To Help Him Get Through The Night And The Pain. Eventually That Catches Up With You As We Know With Everybody.”

“He Was My Friend, A Man I Respected, And I’m Only Reporting What I’ve Been Told. Nothing More, Nothing Less. This Was Not An Attempt To Demean Hulk Hogan Or His Legacy. I Have Always Referred To Him As Being One Of The Two Biggest Stars In The Industry, Himself And Steve Austin. I Apologize If People Misunderstood My Statement. Hulkamania Forever!”

Following Hulk Hogan’s passing at the age of 71 on July 24, 2025, ABC News reported that he suffered an acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) and had a history of chronic lymphocytic leukemia, citing documents relating to Hogan’s cremation.

Flair’s statement is below:

Nick Hogan addresses possible wrestling career: ‘You never know’

At 35 years old, Nick Hogan isn’t ruling out the possibility of following in his late father’s wrestling footsteps.

Hogan posted an Instagram photo this week of himself working out in the ring with Bryan Idol of the National Wrestling Alliance. TMZ Sports later caught up with Hogan about the picture, asking if it means he has any wrestling plans. Hogan would not say much but left things at “you never know.”

“You never know, man. It’s in the blood. So, you never know,” Hogan said. “I’ve always loved the business. And obviously it makes me feel so much closer to dad, being around the business and being kind of in that environment. I have a lot of love for it. Like I said, it’s in the blood, so you never know.”

Hogan said he’s always tried to stay in touch with people in the wrestling industry, noting that it’s like a family.

When asked if he has a finishing move he’s working on, Hogan laughed, said he’s been thinking about a couple different things, and we’ll see what happens.

“It never hurts to drop the leg here and there,” he added.

Hulk Hogan — one of the biggest wrestling stars of all time — passed away at 71 this July after complications from surgery. Nick, who is the beneficiary of his father’s estate, attended multiple tributes that WWE held for his dad.

“They’ve been so accommodating and so graceful to everybody in my family,” Nick said about WWE. “And they’ve just been, you know, really, really better than I could have ever imagined anyone has taken care of us.”

DragonKingKarl: The 1991 WWF steroid scandal

Today on the DragonKingKarl Show, Karl Stern’s time machine takes us back to 1991, a time when pro wrestling was about as low as it could go.

Business was horrendous across the board, the WWF was plagued by multiple scandals, and WCW is drawing less than 1000 people to some of its hottest areas.

In a November 1991 issue of Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, he breaks down all the information one needed to know about pro wrestling and steroids, plus an interesting write-up about how WWF was forced to edit the NWA World title belt out of its TV shows and what they did about it.
