ROH Supercard of Honor live results: Bandido vs. Blake Christian, Survival of the Fittest

Ring of Honor presents Supercard of Honor 2026 tonight on pay-per-view.

This year’s event takes place from the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center in Salisbury, Maryland. Eight matches are advertised for the show, including seven championship bouts.

ROH Women’s World Champion Athena’s record-setting title reign faces one of its biggest tests yet as she defends against five top contenders in a Survival of the Fittest match. Bandido will also put the ROH World Championship on the line against Blake Christian of The Swirl.

Sammy Guevara v. Action Andretti 

Visa problems are keeping Kommander and Guevara’s partner The Beast Mortos in Mexico, and Sammy is unable to defend the ROH World Tag Team titles as a result. So Sammy has a singles match with Action Andretti instead. 

Guevara rejected the “Code of Honor” with a middle finger. Sammy and Action exchange arm wringers and cool counters to arm wringers before Action got a couple of quick near falls.  Andretti messed up Guevara’s beautiful hair, and Guevara responded with a thumb to the eye. 

Andretti came back fired up, hitting a dropkick and sending Guevara to the floor with a clothesline. Andretti followed up with a pair of dives to the floor. Guevara came back with a dropkick and his own dive to the floor. Andretti knocked Guevara to the floor with a superkick, then hit another dive. Andretti tried for a springboard into the ring, but Guevara caught him with a jumping knee. 

Guevara dumped Andretti with a Samoan Drop. Guevara shouted that he should be facing Bandido for the World Title tonight and I was honestly thinking the same thing. Andretti did a handspring into a cutter and both guys were down. 

Andretti mounted a comeback with a series of strikes. Guevara tried to come back with a knee strike, but Andretti hit an enziguri and a handspring back elbow. Andretti went to the top, and Guevara dropped to the floor to avoid Andretti. So, Andretti dropped to the apron, then sprang into a an Asai moonsault. 

Back in the ring, Andretti got a near fall after a springboard clothesline. Andretti went for a split-leg moonsault, but Guevara got out of the way. Andretti then hit almost like a Spanish Fly powerslam for two. 

Andretti went for a springboard, but Guevara got his knees up. Guevara put Andretti on his shoulders in a torture rack, then spun him into a DDT. Guevara followed that up with the GTH and got the pinfall. 

Match Result: Sammy Guevara pinned Action Andretti (11:22). 

RUSH v. LSG

I think that was his name? Anyway RUSH killed him dead with the running dropkick in the corner. 

Match Result: RUSH pinned LSG (0:36). 

RUSH might have broken his own record for shortest Ring of Honor match. 

— Shane Taylor Promotions offer an open challenge tonight to anyone but Mance Warner, Eddie Kingston and Ortiz. 

Lacy Lane & Janai Kai v. Mina Shirakawa & Queen Aminata

Shirakawa got the figure-four leg lock on Lane. Kai ran into break up and Aminata floored her with a knee. Kai caught Shirakawa with a knee, and Aminata leveled her with a headbutt. Kai and Lane caught Shirakawa with kicks. Aminata came back with a forearms on Lane and Kai, but she was eventually overwhelmed by the 2-on-1. Shirakawa made the save by hitting both her opponents with a dropkick off the top at once. Shirakawa locked Kai in a figure-four, and Aminata locked Lane in a Texas Cloverleaf. Kai was officially the one to tap out. 

Match Result: Shirakawa & Aminata defeated Lane & Kai when Kai tapped out (7:38).

This was kind of a mess. 

— Jay Lethal and Lee Johnson challenged Samoa Joe and Anthony Bowens for Collision tomorrow night. Lethal and Johnson were also confident that Blake Christian would win the ROH World Title tonight.

The Premiere Athletes (w/ Mark Sterling & Stori Denali) v. Myron Reed & Dezmond Xavier (w/ Zachery Wentz) 

Sterling was appalled that The Rascals like to partake of the “Devil’s Lettuce.” 

Tony Nese started out with Xavier. Xavier caught Nese with a dropkick and then taunted him with some jumping jacks. Nese caught Reed with a double chop in the throat and the Premiere Athletes took control. 

Reed dropped to the floor to go after Sterling, but this was a set up for Denali to floor him with a clothesline. Back in the ring, Ari Davari hit Xavier with a DDT. Davari dumped Xavier to the floor and all the heels took their shots at him. 

Nese and Davari double-teamed Xavier in the ring. Xavier caught Davari with a hook kick and both guys were down. Reed got the tag and took on Nese, catching him with an enziguri. Nese ducked a shot but got caught with a superkick. Xavier recovered and teamed up with Reed for a slingshot neckbreaker for a near fall. 

The Premiere Athletes took out Xavier with a double team DDT. Nese spun Reed into a sit-out tombstone for a near fall. Xavier came back with an enziguri for Davari. Xavier hit Davari with a dive, Nese hit Xavier with a dive, and Reed took out Nese and Davari with his crazy over the top rope cutter on the floor. 

Sterling tried to interfere, but Wentz cut him off. Denali tried to attack Wentz, but he turned that into a cutter on Sterling. 

Back in the ring, Davari took out Reed with a hammerlock clothesline. Nese came off the top with a 450, and Davari followed up with a splash. He went for the cover, but Xavier broke up the pin with a twisting legdrop. 

The Rascals hit Davari with a double superkick. Reed picked up Davari for a burning hammer, and Xavier came off the top rope with a stomp to drive the move home. 

Match Result: Reed & Xavier defeated The Premiere Athletes with Reed pinned Davari (11:19)

During the match Global Wars: Cincinnati was announced featuring talent from ROH, CMLL and Stardom. This will be on June 17th on Honor Club, with matches from shows taped on June 10th and 11th.

Supercard of Honor Main Show

Ian Riccaboni & Caprice Coleman were on commentary. 

Josh Woods v. Nigel McGuinness in a Pure Rules Match. 

McGuinness’ t-shirt is perfect and I’m gonna have to run and go buy one right now. 

The Code of Honor was adhered to. I love the unique “Pure Rules.” If you’re going to have 18 million titles in a promotion, it’s good to vary up the rules for some of them. But, why don’t they have the clock running on the screen for every match? 

In Pure Rules, each wrestler is only allowed three rope breaks. If it goes to a time limit draw, then three judges at ringside will determine the winner. There is a 20 count outside the ring, no closed punches, and anyone who interferes gets fired. 

Anyway, Nigel set up Josh to push him into the corner and cause a rope break for Josh, showing his smarts. Nigel went for a side headlock, but Josh countered into a judo throw and grabbed an armbar, and Nigel quickly had to go to a rope break. 

Nigel took Woods down with a arm wringer and went to work on the arm. Woods countered an overhead armbar with a small package, but Nigel kicked out at two. Josh backed Nigel into the corner for a hard chop, and Nigel countered that with a thumb to the eye. Nigel tried for the Tower of London out of the corner, but Woods countered that into a sleeper, and Nigel had to use his second rope break! Nigel had to drop to the floor to regroup. 

Nigel grabbed a headset to talk to the commentators about how the match wasn’t going the way he planned. Woods grabbed a second headset and said the match was going exactly how he thought it would. The referee found his own headset and told them to get back in the ring before they both got counted out. 

That. Was. HILARIOUS. 

Back in the ring, Nigel tricked Woods into using his two remaining rope breaks. While this was clever, it fired up Josh, who took the fight to the floor and rammed him into the ring barriers. Back in the ring, Woods hit a backbreaker and locked in an ankle lock. McGuinness had to break that hold by using his last rope break. 

On the floor, Nigel hit the Tower of London, sending Woods face-first to the floor (while Nigel twisted to avoid landing flat on his back). Woods recovered and both guys started exchanging forearms. The referee’s count got to 18 before they slid back in the ring. Back in the ring, Woods and Nigel knocked each other out with simultaneous boots. 

Nigel recovered first and hit more forearms and a running European uppercut. Woods came back with a backbreaker and a clothesline for two. Woods then went back to the ankle lock. Nigel made it to the ropes, but it didn’t matter. So Nigel rolled through and sent Woods into the turnbuckles. 

Nigel went for the “London Dungeon” an overhead armbar. Woods escaped. Nigel hit some weak uppercuts, but sprung back off the ropes and hit a lariat, and got the pinfall. 

Match Result: Nigel McGuinness pinned Josh Woods after a lariat (14:57)

Red Velvet v. Viva Van for the ROH Women’s Television Championship

These two are occasional partners in CMLL, now facing off for the Women’s Television Championship.

Red Velvet busted out a short-arm scissors early, but Van countered that into a cradle to force a break. Van then dropped a knee on Velvet’s arm. Velvet came back with a leg lariat. Van hit a rolling leg lariat of her own for a near fall. 

Van punished Velvet with a stretch muffler, then went to work on Velvet’s leg. Van stretched Velvet with a bow & arrow. Velvet escaped and got a surprise near fall. Both women exchanged open-handed chops, then exchanged forearms. Van went for a heel kick (at least I think that’s what she was trying) that found nothing but air. Velvet quickly covered for two. Van folded up Velvet with a German suplex. 

Van sent Velvet into the corner with an up kick. Van tried an electric chair drop, but Velvet countered with a rana. Van hit a spinning back fist and both women fell down with their arm on their opponent, and it was a double pin attempt, but both kicked out at two. 

Van ducked a spin kick, but Velvet caught her with a superkick. Velvet went for her finisher, but Van blocked it and dumped Velvet with an Air Raid Crash for a near fall. 

Van picked up Velvet in an electric chair again, and then climbed up to the middle ropes. Velvet escaped and pulled Van out of the corner with an Iconclasm for a near fall. 

Van tried for an electric chair suplex, but Velvet spun out of it, but Van drove her down with a sit-down powerbomb for two. Van went for the electric chair again, but Velvet turned that into a cradle for two, but Van reversed that again for two. Velvet then popped up and hit a spin kick on Van to get the pinfall. 

Match Result: Red Velvet pinned Viva Van (11:19). 

That makes 12 wins in a row for Red Velvet. 

AR Fox v. “Blackheart” Lio Rush for the ROH World Television Championship

Fox won the belt “last night” on ROH TV. Whatever this gimmick is for Lio Rush, it’s not going to fail because Rush isn’t putting his heart into it.

Rush has messed up contacts in his eyes and black ooze coming out of his mouth. The Code of Honor was not followed when Rush hit Fox with a clothesline before the bell rang.

Rush took control early with his usual speedy tactics. Fox tripped up Rush on the apron, then flipped over the ropes into a double stomp. Fox followed up with a moonsault to the floor.

Back in the ring, Fox hit a clothesline in the corner and followed up with elbows. Rush came back with a heel kick to send Fox to the floor. Rush went to the top, but Dox followed him up. Rush bit Fox, then wedged him between the turnbuckles and gave him a stunner. Rush hit a crossbody to the floor.

On the floor, Rush threw Fox about the ring barricades. Back in the ring, Rush drove Fox to the mat with a brainbuster. Fox tried to fight back, but Rush cut him off with a running back elbow.
Rush ran into a boot from Fox. Fox hit a spinning DDT off the ropes for a near fall.

With both men down, Action Andretti came out to cheer on the match. Fox hit a flying back elbow in the corner, then a rolling cutter for a near fall. Fox went to the top, but Rush tried to try him up in the ropes. Fox spring into a cutter off the ropes, then hit another cutter, but it only got two.

Fox went for a 450, but Rush avoided it and hit a pop up powerbomb. Rush followed up with a spear for two. Rush stretched Fox, then hit a springboard cutter to send Fox to the floor. Rush followed up by hitting a dive on the floor. The crowd was going crazy for Rush.

Back in the ring, Rush hit another springboard cutter for two. Rush gave Fox a stunner and locked in a cravat. Rush forced Fox into the corner and bit his head. Fox ducked a charge from Rush bt fell victim to a Spanish Fly. Rush then came off the top with a frog splash, but it only got two.

Rush dropped to the floor and took the title belt. He climbed up the ropes with the title belt, but referee Stephon Smith took the belt away from Rush. With the ref looking away, Andretti shoved Rush off the top rope. Fox hit a 450 splash and got the pinfall.

Match Result: Fox pinned Rush to retain the ROH TV title (15:40).

— Sammy Guevara reminded the world he’s beaten the AEW World Champion Darby Allin four times, and tomorrow night on Collision he’ll do it for a fifth time and win the AEW World Title. 

Deonna Purrazzo v. Diamanté for the ROH Women’s Pure Championship 

Purrazzo folded Diamanté up with a big powerbomb and went right into a Fujiarwa armbar. Diamanté immediately used a rope break to escape. 

The fight went to the floor, and Diamanté targeted Purrazzo’s leg, then hit a stunner on the floor. 

Back in the ring, Diamanté worked over the leg some more. Diamanté grabbed an ankle lock on Purrazzo while she was leaning against the ropes, which basically forced her to use a rope break. 

Purrazzo came back with chops in the corner. Diamanté hit a closed fist on Purrazzo, which is her one free closed fist. If she does that again, it will be a disqualification. 

Diamanté hung Purrazzo upside down in the ropes, then dropkicked her to the floor. Purrazzo got back in the ring, and Diamanté worked over the knee some more. Purrazzo came back with a Russian Leg Sweep. She rolled right into an armbar from there, but Diamanté countered with a cradle and hit a kick. 

Diamanté blocked another powerbomb attempt and went back to a spinning toe hold, then transitioned into an ankle lock. Purrazzo flipped out of it, but Diamanté caught her with  a forearm. Diamanté hit a bridging German suplex for a near fall. 

Diamanté caught Purrazzo with an armbar, but Purrazzo countered with a cradle. Purrazzo hit a closed fist and got a warning from the ref. Purrazzo caught Diamanté with a draping DDT, then went back to the arm bar. Diamanté used her second rope break to escape. 

Purrazzo tried for a Gotch style piledriver, but Diamanté escaped. Diamante set up something like a Cross Rhodes, but Purrazzo escaped and went for the arm bar. Diamanté escaped and Purrazzo struck with a Gotch Style piledriver for two. 

Diamanté flipped off Purrazzo and slapped her, trying to taunt her into using a closed fist. Instead, Purrazzo drove her down with a short powerbomb, the locked in the Venus De Milo double armbar. Even though she was close to the ropes (and still had one rope break), Diamanté tapped out. 

Match Result: Deonna Purrazzo retained the Women’s Pure Title over Diamanté by submission (13:01).

— Action Andretti turned on his partner Lio Rush because he was nowhere to be found when RUSH laid him out in the pre-show.

— Coleman and Riccaboni confirm Darby Allin v. Sammy Guevara for Collision tomorrow night. 

Ace Austin v. Lee Moriarty for the ROH Pure Wrestling Championship 

Moriarty is the longest-reigning ROH Pure Champion and the longest-reigning men’s champion of any kind in ROH. 

Austin used a rope break very early to escape a pretty rudimentary hold, so that might have been Moriarty leading him to the ropes. Moriarty went to the arm, but Austin countered with a backbreaker. Moriarty tried for a chicken wing, but Austin slipped out and caught Moriarty with a cradle. Austin locked Moriarty in a Muta Lock. Moriarty escaped by jamming Austin’s fingers against the mat. 

Moriarty again went for the chicken wing, but Austin escaped by backing into the corner. Moriarty went to work on Austin’s arm some more. Moriarty tied up Austin in a straight jacket. Austin was able to reverse that into one of his own. Moriarty escaped and locked in an octopus. Moriarty then leaned towards the ropes, basically leading Austin into using his second rope break. 

Moriarty has used none of his rope breaks. 

Moriarty missed a dropkick, and Austin locked in a Koji Clutch. Moriarty had to use a rope break to escape. 

Moriarty swept Austin’s leg. Austin floored Moriarty with a short arm clothesline and dropped a leg. Austin hit a Death Valley Driver. Austin hit a bridging German suplex for a near fall. 

Moriarty avoided an offensive move from Austin by going to the ropes, and some in the crowd called for a rope break. The ref didn’t see it that way. 

Moriarty hit a springboard lariat, then locked in the Border City Stretch. Austin countered with a cradle for two. Austin countered an arm bar with a deep cradle for two. 

Austin tied up Moriarty’s legs and bridged back for a cover, but Moriarty used a rope break to escape. 

This leaves both men with just one more rope break. 

And just like that, Moriarty locked in another arm bar while Austin was tied up in the ropes, forcing Austin to use his last rope break. 

Moriarty escaped a tiger driver and hit a forearm. Austin sprung off the ropes with a spinning kick. Austin charged, but Moriarty caught him with another armbar. Austin got to the ropes, which didn’t break the hold, but he was able to use the ropes to dump Moriarty to the floor. 

Moriarty slid back in the ring, and Austin drove his head into the mat for a near fall. Austin spun Moriarty into a flatliner and locked in the Koji Clutch again. Moriarty had to use his last rope break to escape. 

Austin went for a rollup, but Moriarty escaped and locked in the chicken wing. Austin escaped, but Moriarty rolled him up with a bridge, and in bridging back grabbed the ropes for additional leverage and got the pinfall. This is apparently legal, since all the rope breaks were used up. 

Match Result: Moriarty retained over Austin via pinfall (16:08). 

— Red Velvet feels good about retaining her ROH TV Title, but doesn’t feel good about being left out of the Owen Hart Women’s Tournament. So she’s going to Collision tomorrow night to beat Willow Nightingale for the TBS Championship. 

— Lexi Nair brought out Jordan Oliver and Alec Price. They are “Busta and the Brain.” They plan to be first in line for the ROH Tag Team Titles. But they’re ready for any other tag teams in ROH that are feeling froggy. And just like that, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett, the Kingdom returned to ROH. Surprisingly, this didn’t end in violence, but both teams shaking hands and pretty much agreeing to a fight down the line. 

Shane Taylor & The Infantry (w/ Anthony Ogogo & Christyan XO) v. The Outrunners & Dalton Castle  for the ROH Six Man Champions

The Outrunners and Castle answered the open challenge that Shane Taylor Promotions made during Zero Hour. Castle still gets a big pop from the crowd.

Castle went for the Bangarang on Dean, but Dean was quick to counter. Castle leveled Dean with a forearm, but Bravo caught Castle with a knee from the apron. Truth Magnum got the tag and took Bravo down with blistering chops. 

Magnum missed a dive in the corner, and Dean caught him with a springboard cutter. Bravo drove Magnum into the apron with a cutter, and Taylor followed up with a big leg. 

Magnum tried to fight out of the STP corner, but got triple-teamed by his opponents. 

Magnum almost got to his corner to make the tag, but his opponents made sure there was no one to tag by yanking his partners to the floor. Taylor followed up by splashing Truth in the corner. Taylor also took out Dalton Castle with a splash on the floor. 

Turbo Floyd finally got the tag and took it to the Infantry. He hit Taylor with a dropkick and slammed Bravo and Dean. The Outrunners started gearing up for the Mega-Powers handshake, but Taylor leveled them both. 

Floyd got triple-teamed in the corner by the heels. Castle was still out on the floor. Dean came in with a pendulum elbow drop, then dropped another elbow in the ring for a two count. Taylor and Bravo crotched Floyd against the ringpost. 

Dean suplexed Floyd. Bravo tagged in and he suplexed Floyd. Shane Taylor tagged in and he gave Floyd a big delayed vertical suplex. Dean went back in to suplex Floyd again, but Floyd reversed it. Bravo tried to keep Floyd from getting the tag. Flyod got him with a back suplex, but Dean lured Magnum away from his corner and there was no one for Floyd to tag. 

Taylor charged in and missed an avalanche. Floyd went for a slam, but Taylor is huge and Floyd was exhausted so that didn’t work. Taylor easily slammed Floyd and leveled him with a headbutt. But Taylor missed another avalanche, and Floyd was able to get Taylor up for a slam. Meanwhile, Castle had finally recovered and got back to his corner to get the tag! 

Suplexes for all the heels, including a massive German suplex for Taylor. Castle went for the Bangarang on Taylor, but couldn’t hold him up. Christyan XO distracted Castle, and the heels got the advantage on Castle. Taylor hit a stuff piledriver on Castle, but the Outrunners made the save. 

The Infantry went for a double team on Castle, but the Outrunners crotched them on the ringbolt. Castle hit a massive Bangarang on Taylor. The Outrunners dropped a double-elbow, and Castle caught Taylor with a jackknife cradle and held him down for the three! 

Match Result: The Outrunners & Dalton Castle are your new Ring of Honor Six Man Champions after Castle pinned Shane Taylor (17:47). 

After the match, Shane Taylor Promotions laid out the new champs, but cue the Pixies, Orange Cassidy came out. Mark Briscoe, Cassidy’s Co-Conglomerator, ran in for the save with the chair. They ran off Shane Taylor Promotions, and celebrated with the new six man champions.

I’m so glad to see Dalton Castle with ROH gold. And the way this match was laid out, watching it I was practically begging for the title change.

Xelhua v. Mark Davis for the AEW National Championship

You could hear Tony Khan giving Ian notes on commentary. First, to remind the audience that since it’s an AEW title match, there’s only a ten count outside the ring. And then talking about Mark Davis’ big victory over Jack Perry.

The fight went to the floor, and Davis ran through Xelhua with a tackle. Back in the ring, Davis stomped Xelhua and leveled him with a punt. Xelhua fell back on a bodyslam attempt. Davis hit Xeluha with a lariat, then sent him off the apron to the floor with another lariat. 

Xelhua beat the count to get back in the ring, then got immediately slammed. Davis set Xelhua on the turnbuckles and tried to pull off his mask. Xelhua blocked that, then sent Davis down to the mat. Xelhua came off the top with a crossbody for a near fall. 

Xelhua took Davis down with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Xelhua tied up Davis with a hammerlock and drove him down to the mat. Xelhua punched Davis in the corner “diez” times in the corner, with the crowd helpfully counting along for him in Spanish. 

Davis went for a lariat, but Xelhua tripped him up and tied up his ankle. Davis crawled to the ropes to force a break. Davis came up selling his knee, and Xelhua went to work on it… until Davis killed him with a snap piledriver. 

Xelhua tried to set up a superplex, but Davis countered it and avalanche suplexed Xeluha out of the corner. 

Xelhua slammed Davis, then went to the top. Xelhua went for a senton, but Davis got out of the way. Davis dropped Xelhua with a piledriver, then hit the lariat for the pinfall. 

Match Result: Mark Davis pinned Xelhua to retain the AEW National Title (14:10). 

— Lexi Nair interviewed Shane Taylor Promotions, and they lay out some challenges for the Conglomeration and the new ROH Six Man champions tomorrow night at Collision.

— Mark Briscoe & Orange Cassidy accept the challenge from Shane Taylor Promotions, and the word of the day is “hometown a$$ whooping!” Kyle O’Reilly will likely be the third partner. 

 Bandido (w/ Jay Lethal & Lee Johnson) v. Blake Christian for the ROH World Championship 

Christian flipped off Bandido rather than adhere to the Code of Honor. 

After a feeling out process, Christian caught Bandido with a dropkick to send him to the floor. Christian went for a dive, but Bandido got back in the ring and took him down with a snap rana. Bandido sent Christian to the floor and followed him with a dive. 

Lee Johnson distracted the referee, allowing Lethal to clip Bandido’s knee. Christian hit Bandido with a twisting through the ropes tope. 

Back in the ring, Christian worked on Bandido’s knee. The referee caught Lethal and Johnson interfering again, and this time he ejected them from ringside. But, not before Bandido took them out with a dive. 

Christian took control with a short-arm scissors. Christian went to the top, but Bandido rolled out of the way. Christian casually dropped back down to the mat and attacked Bandido’s knee. Christian charged into a boot from Bandido. But Christian tied up Bandido’s legs in the ropes and caught him with a tiger feint kick to the back. 

Bandido tried to gorilla press Christian, but Christian slid into a arm scissors out of it. Bandido powered Christian up into a sit-out powerbomb to escape. Bandido came out of the corner with a twisting moonsault. Bandido hit a running knee for two. 

Bandido went for the 21-plex, but Christian escaped and caught Bandido with a splash. Christian took Bandido down with a dragon screw leg whip. Christian tried to roll into a figure-four, but Bandido countered and dropped Christian with a suplex. 

Christian flipped off Bandido while he was on his back, so Bandido came up with a Northern Lights 21-plex, springing off the ropes and pulling up Bandido into the Northern Lights suplex. I think the 21-plex is kinda dumb, but that was pretty awesome. 

Christian staggered Bandido with a kick that sent him to the apron. Christian followed him on the apron. Bandido tried for a press slam again, but Christian escaped and sent Bandido to the floor. Christian then dove through the middle ropes and pulled Bandido into a tornado DDT that looked like it about killed Bandido. 

Back in the ring, Christian hit the Lethal Injection for two. In a great touch on commentary, Riccaboni explained how just because that’s a finisher for Jay Lethal (who has perfected the hold), doesn’t mean it will work that way for Christian. 

On the floor, Christian cleared off the commentary table like it’s a WWE main event. Christian set up Bandido for a suplex, but Bandido reversed it and turn it into a brainbuster on Christian. 

Back in the ring, Bandido hit the 21-plex, but Christian kicked out at two. Bandido tried for a top rope fallaway slam, but Christian countered and turned it into an avalanche poisoned rana! Christian followed up with a 450 splash for two. 

Christian tried for a 21-plex, but Bandido blocked it and flipped him over the ropes. Bandido pulled Christian into the ring off the middle rope for a deadlift superplex. Bandido went for a shooting star press, but Christian got his knees up. Bandido went for a springboard, but Bandido caught him with a dropkick and both guys were down. 

Bandido got to his feet first, and Christian was out on his feet… until he hit a superkick and a knee out of nowhere. Christian went for a Lethal Injection, but Bandido countered with the X-Knee. Christian came back with a Spanish Fly for a near fall. 

Christian dropped to the floor, and grabbed the ROH title belt from the timekeeper’s table. He went to use the belt, but the ref grabbed it from him. The ref turned his back, and Christian hit a low blow, then a double stomp. But that only got two. 

Christian went for… something, but it got turned into a Styles Clash from Bandido. Christian was flat on his back, and Bandido hit the Deadlift 21-Plex and got the pinfall. 

Match Result: Bandido retained the ROH World Title by pinning Christian (26:05). 

Tremendous match. After the match, while Bandido was on his knees looking down at the championship he retained… Swerve Strickland ran in with a House Call to the back of Bandido’s head. Prince Nana came out to applaud his boss as he hit the House Call a second time. Just when it looked like he was going to leave, Swerve went back and dropped Bandido with a gringo killer on a chair. Officials tended to Bandido, who was laid out in the ring.

Athena v. Yuka Sakazaki v. Billie Starks v. Maya World (w/ Hyan) v. Trish Adora v. Zayda Steel (w/ Christopher Daniels) for ROH Women’s World Title in a Survival of the Fittest Match

Bliz sang Steel’s music on her way to the ring. Athena is on her way to a 1300 day title reign, the longest reigning ROH champion in history. She’s also catching up to the longest days holding any championship over any number of reigns, nearing Mark and Jay Briscoe, who set the record over 13 tag team title reigns. 

This is elimination rules. 

Athena toasted Starks to the floor and told her to “stick to the plan and let them fight,” but the other women surround them on the floor and attack. 

Adora powerslammed Starks in the ring. Steelz came off the top rope with a double stomp. Starks and Athena went to suplex Steelz, but she countered that into a double-DDT on her opponents. Athena dumped Maya World and Sakazaki with a fallaway slam. 

Steelz grabbed a steel chair and went after her opponents. She wedged the chair between the ropes and tried to whip Athena into it. But Athena reversed it, sent Steelz into the chair, and cradled her with her feet on the ropes to get the first fall (about five minutes in). 

Sakazaki got a near fall after a suplex. Athena popped up and hit Sakazaki with a superkick. Athena went for the chair. Before she could use it (while, we she had it up waiting), Maya World came in with a kendo stick. Starks got a chair and laid in a weak chair shot on Sakazaki (she should never do chair shots again). Adora got the kendo stick and worked over Maya World with it. More kendo sticks, chairs and a trash can made it into the ring. 

Athena set up a bunch of chair on the floor. Adora worked over World on the floor with the kendo stick. Starks pulled a table out from under the ring to the delight of the crowd. Starks and Sakazaki fought near the table. Starks whipped Sakazaki into the ring barricade. 

Back in the ring, Maya World gave Adora a head scissors, and she flew into Athena with a spear. Athena and Adora got into it on the ring apron, and Adora chokeslammed Athena off the apron and into the 30 chairs that Athena and set up earlier. 

Starks saved Athena from further abuse from Adora. Starks and Adora fought up to the commentator’s table. Starks went to suplex Adora off the table, but Adora blocked it and gave Starks a Death Valley Driver on the commentator’s table—which did not break. 

Athena recovered, and Adora laid her out with a forearm than sent her onto the table. Sakazaki then came off the top with a Magical Girl Splash to send Athena through the table. 

Back in the ring, Adora dropped Sakazaki with a backbreaker. Adora hit the Lariat Tubman on Athena, but Sakazaki took out Adora with a spinning slam and got the pinfall (15:37). 

Athena, Starks, Maya World, and Sakazaki are the remaining competitors. 

Sakazaki grabbed the trash can and hit a Magical Girl Splash with the can on Athena. Starks saved Athena, then gave her like an avalanche pedigree to get the pinfall (17:21). 

Athena was down on the floor (but still alive in the match), which left Maya World and Starks to brawl in the ring. Starks ran into a superkick from World. Starks came back with a destroyer for a near fall. 

Athena rolled back in the ring with a pair of kendo sticks. She tossed one to Billie Starks, and they worked over World with the sticks. 

Starks and Athena piled chairs on top of the prone World. Athena pulled a ladder out from underneath the ring. While they’re setting up the ladder, a fan shouted “where’s the briefcase?” That was pretty funny.

World caught Starks with a dropkick, which sent her into the ladder. They brawled up to the top, and Athena accidentally hit Starks. World then hit Starks with a sunset flip powerbomb and got the pin. (21:43)

This left World v. Athena. With roughly a billion weapons around the ring, Athena grabbed her belt to use as a weapon. Athena took a wild swing and missed. World drove Athena’s head into the apron with DDT, but only got two. Maya World hit her finisher, but that only got a near fall. 

World locked in an ankle lock. Athena made it to the ropes, but Mike Posey said no rope breaks. Billie Starks (still at ringside despite being eliminated) was about to throw in the towel for Athena (Starks is Athena’s “licensed second”) but Athena grabbed the towel and drug Starks in the ring, breaking up the hold. Athena powerbombed World, then hit her with a chair. 

Athena stepped on Starks back on her way up the giant ladder. She came off the the ladder with a super-dooper O-face on World, and got the pinfall. 

Match Result: Athena pinned Maya World in the final elimination to retain the ROH Women’s World Title (26:09). 

The main event was pretty disappointing. It devolved pretty quickly into a weapons match and the outcome wasn’t ever really in doubt. Especially once Starks was eliminated.

Diamanté came out to celebrate with the World Champion. Billie Starks sat on the ladder looking upset with herself. Athena yelled at Starks for being upset, and Starks left the ring while Athena and Diamanté celebrated. 

Overall the show was a fine way to spend a Friday night. I don’t know if there’s anything you need to go out of your way to see. I really enjoyed the six man titles change and the world title match. I thought the pure matches were a slice of something different, which was fun. This also set up a lot of things for Collision tomorrow night which has me thinking about driving 3 hours to see the show live.

But overall, this show did not disappoint. Also, even though it was 5 hours long, it didn’t feel that long to me.

ROH on HonorClub live results: Nick Wayne vs. AR Fox

Ring of Honor presents the go-home show for Supercard of Honor tonight.

This week’s show is dubbed Supercard Showdown and will feature two title matches, including ROH World Television Champion Nick Wayne defending against AR Fox.

The ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions Shane Taylor Promotions will defend their titles against Eddie Kingston, Ortiz, and Mance Warner.

Blake Christian will go up against Evil Uno. ROH Women’s Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo will wrestle Kaci Lennox. Dalton Castle and The Outrunners will be in action. ROH World Champion Bandido will wrestle Action Andretti in a Proving Ground match.

In a Survival of the Fittest qualifier, Hyan will wrestle Zayda Steel. Also on the show, Athena, Billie Starkz, and Marina Shafir will wrestle Maya World, Yuka Sakazaki, and Lacey Lane.

Adam Priest and Tommy Billington will wrestle Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta.

Angelico vs. Josh Woods in a Pure Rules match is scheduled as well.

Satnam Singh will be in action.

– Tonight’s Supercard Showdown kicked off with Ian Riccaboni welcoming us from the SoFi Center in West Palm Beach, FL, the site of AEW Fairway to Hell last Saturday.

Maya World, Lacey Lane, Yuka Sakazaki vs. Athena, Billie Starkz, Marina Shafir

Sakazaki and Athena kicked it off for this match. Sakazaki too Athena down with a shoulder tackle, but the ROH Women’s Champion answered with one of her own. The two exchanged hip-tosses and dropkicks, but neither got the clear advantage here. Sakazaki struck Athena with a hard elbow to the face as Marina Shafir forced herself to enter the match in Starkz’s place.

Shafir held onto Sakazaki’s arm and tried to work it over, but got hit with a kick to the face instead. Sakazaki attacked Shafir in the corner before Lacey Lane tagged in. Lane and Maya hit Shafir with attacks in the corner, as Maya continued the attack with a dropkick on her foe. Maya attempted a suplex, but Shafir blocked it. Sakazaki entered and tried to help Maya with the suplex. Soon all the remaining competitors entered and we got a suplex tug-of-war of sorts. However, it was Athena, Shafir, and Starkz who got the better of their opponents in this exchange as they nailed the suplex.

Athena and Shafir got into a bit of an argument as we had all six women in the ring at the moment. Shafir shoved Lane away before she held Sakazaki in a gutwrench position. Starkz struck Sakazaki with a running knee afterwards. Shafir kept Sakazaki isolated from her corner as Athena blind tagged into the match, much to Shafir’s consternation. Athena took control and pummeled Sakazaki with strikes as Starkz was now the legal woman for her team. Starkz went for the cover, but Sakazaki kicked out at two. That moment of solace was brief as Athena re-entered the match and kept the damaging assault on Sakazaki going. Athena tried to play defense to prevent Sakazaki from making the tag with a scoop body slam for the near-fall. Athena applied the cravate on Sakazaki, who tried to fight ouf the hold. Sakazaki missed with the kick, but not the elbow. However, she couldn’t get the tag as Shafir stopped her at the pass. Sakazaki hit the dropkick on Shafir, while Athena and Maya World took each other out with clotheslines.

Back in the ring, Lacey Lane got the tag and she took it to the Minion-in-Training with a fierce kick. Athena got a capoeira kick from Lane, but she responded with the pumphandle driver. Maya took Athena out with the dropkick, as Shafir then began to fight with her outside the ring. Sakazaki leapt from the top to take out both Shafir and Maya. In the ring, Starkz hit Lane with the knee to the face as she then put her foe down with a snapmare. As Starkz headed up the top rope, Athena blind tagged just as Starkz connected with a swanton bomb. Athena then slid in and got the pin and win, much to Starkz’s frustration.

This was a solid opener, and the story beat of Athena stealing Starkz’s pin was a good one to set up Billie’s inevitable rising up against her “master”.

Tommy Billington & Adam Priest vs. The Death Riders (Daniel Garcia & Wheeler Yuta) (w/ Jon Moxley & PAC)

Yuta and Billington opened the match with some nice chain wrestling action as Garcia took over with the tag afterwards. Billington countered with the short arm scissors into the wrist lock as Priest got the tag. Yuta rejoined the match with the tag and faced off with Priest. The pace began to quicken with a Priest shoulder tackle. Priest offered a handshake, but Yuta answered with a cheapshot. Yuta paid for it with a clothesline from Priest as Billington then tagged in. Priest and Billington hit a double team backbreaker on Yuta. Garcia intercepted an attempted suplex from Billington and caught Yuta. The two then attacked the isolated Billington, but not before the took Priest out from the apron.

Garcia applied the chinlock on Billington as Moxley and PAC looked on at ringside. Billington got out of it, but immediately got sent down on his back by Garcia as Yuta kept him isolated from his corner. Yuta applied the deathlock on Billington for maximum pain. Garcia delivered repeated European uppercuts to Billington as he and Yuta then shelled him with repeated running splashes, followed by a double dropkick. Yuta kept Billington grounded momentarily, but a snap suplex put a stop to that. Garcia tried to stop Billington, but he ate a snap suplex for his troubles. Billington dodged a double clothesline as Priest finally entered the match.

Priest hit Garcia and Yuta with a double clothesline of his own as he followed that up with a German Suplex on Yuta. Priest hit the superplex on Garcia, followed by a Billington diving headbutt for the near-fall. Priest and Billington tried for the double German Suplex, but Yuta caught Billington in a sleeper. Meanwhile, Priest applied the seriously-strong single-leg crab. We then got a double submission as Yuta and Priest were caught in separate submissions. Garcia countered Billington and applied the Dragon Tamer while Priest had the single-leg crab. The two broke their own holds and began to fight in the middle of the ring. In the ring, Billington hit a modified Olympic Slam on Billington and had him in sight for the Busaiku Knee. Instead, Billington got him with the clothesline. Priest tried to go up top, but Garcia tripped him up. This left Billington at the mercy of a piledriver from Garcia. Priest slid in and immediately got finished off with the Busaiku Knee as the Death Riders got the win here.

A terrific technical showcase between these two teams. Priest and Billington continue to impress me the more and more I watch them.

Satnam Singh vs. James Tapia & CD Bennett

Tapia and Bennett sized up their giant foe to start. Both men got thrown around as they failed at their respective chances to knock Singh off his feet. Tapia and Bennett tried to go at Singh together, but it didn’t work, either. Scoop slam by Singh on Tapia, as Bennet found himself thrown right into this partner by the giant. Double crossbody by Singh on his two hapless foes, but he relinquished the pin. Singh tried to lift Bennett up, but Tapia clipped him. The two tried a double suplex, but they were overpowered easily by Singh. Bennett stumbled back to his feet as Singh grabbed at his throat. Tapia tried to stop it, but to no avail. Singh then made no mistake with the double chokeslam as he then stacked Bennett and Tapia for the pin and win.

Just your standard big man squash match from Singh. If that’s not your cup of tea, then this match will probably not be your cup of tea.

Pure Rules Match: Josh Woods vs. Angelico (w/ Serpentico)

The match kicked off with Angelico appliying the chinlock that he turned into a pin attempt. Woods answered with an arm wrench, as he and Angelico got into a methodical duel early in this Pure Rules contest. Angelico worked on wrenching the wrist of Woods as the two then traded standing switches. Woods used the first of his three rope breaks, perhaps inadvertently, to break Angelico’s hold. This seemed to put Woods into another zone as he aggressively went after Angelico with strikes in the corner, followed by a backbreaker into a beastly lariat. Woods attempted an O’Connor Roll German Suplex, but Angelico turned that into a pin attempt for the near-fall. Woods tried for the Chaos Theory again and then got the win. After the match, a crazed Woods applied the Key Lock on Angelico as Serpentico tried to save his partner. Woods angrily called out Nigel McGuinness, who soon came out.

McGuinness took the mic and said that he and they didn’t have to wait until Supercard of Honor, they could do it tonight. Woods refused, stating that he wanted to do it in front of the whole world. McGuinness concluded by declaring that he might take some liberties himself tomorrow.

Short match, but I think it worked in establishing Woods as a dangerous threat and I’m looking forward to his match with Nigel McGuinness tomorrow night.

– We got remarks from ROH Women’s Television Champion Red Velvet, who addressed her Supercard of Honor opponent, Viva Van.

ROH World Six-Man Championship Match: Shane Taylor Promotions (Carlie Bravo, Shane Taylor, “The Captain” Shawn Dean) (c) vs. Eddie Kingston, Ortiz, & Mance Warner

We didn’t waste any time as the bell rang and all six competitors went after each other immediately. In the ring, Ortiz scoop slammed Bravo, followed by the leg drop. Bravo responded with a crossover punch in the corner, but that did him little good as the Snake Eyes from Ortiz allowed him to tag in Warner. Dean tagged in to face off against Warner, but he got lit up with chops to the chest, followed by the running boot. Warner took a bite out of the Captain’s hand before he tagged in Kingston. Dean got shellshocked by a double shoulder block from Kingston and Warner. The namesake of Shane Taylor Promotions tagged and we got some big men slapping meat action between Taylor and Kingston.

Kingston tried to hit the uranage on Taylor, but he couldn’t lift him up. The left jab and the headbutt from Taylor left Kingston at the mercy of The Infantry in the S.T.P. corner. Bravo tagged in and hit a running jab to a prone Kingston. Capt. Dean hit a running bronco buster on Kingston as S.T.P. kept the advantage in this ROH Six-Man Tag title match. Kingston escaped Dean’s hold, but a thumb to the eye from The Captain snuffed out that comeback attempt. Shane Taylor continued the onslaught on Kingston, who refused to go quietly without a fight. Kingston fired up with chops, as he managed to lift Taylor with a huge T-Bone Suplex. This allowed Mance Warner to enter the fray with a hot tag.

Warner absolutely pasted Bravo with a clothesline, as Capt. Dean ate jabs, followd by the shot to the eyes. Taylor interjected with a clothesline as he held him up for a leapfrog attack from both Bravo and Dean. Kingston and Ortiz broke up the count. With Taylor disposed of outside, Warner hit Dean with a running knee, but Bravo broke up the count. Ortiz was thrown into the corner, while Warner was hit with a double neckbreaker in the ring to retain.

I thought this match was alright. It could’ve been a bit better, but what we got was good. It’s a joy to see Mance Warner in action, and I do like the Shane Taylor Promotions aesthetic as a stable.

Evil Uno vs. Blake Christian (w/ Jay Lethal & Lee Johnson)

Blake entered to the match wearing a mask he stole from Bandido. Before the match, Blake told Jay Lethal and Lee Johnson to head to the back before he took a cheapshot at Uno. The brainchild of Mystery Wrestling responded with clubbing strikes in the corner followed by a one-armed clotheslines. Uno attempted a powerbomb, but Blake countered that into a rolling dropkick. Uno headed out to the ring and found himself flattened by Blake’s dropkick and suicide dive. Christian threw Uno into the steel steps before sending him back to the ring and leaping off the rope for a springboard forearm to his opponent. Blake taunted Uno as he slapped him in the face. That seemed to fire Uno up as he answered with a slap, followed by a running DDT for the near-fall. Uno then tried for another powerbomb, but Blake countered. He then put on the Bandido mask and looked like he was going to do the 21-Plex, but Uno countered that. Back suplex reversed by Blake, who pushed Uno in the referee’s path. Blake then hit the Lethal Injection, followed by his counterfeit 21-Plex, a Shining Wizard, and finally the amazingly-named Vanilla Choke Zero submission for the tapout win.

After the match, Blake addressed Bandido directly. He said that he was proving week in and week out that he was going to take Bandido’s ROH World Championship. Blake declared that we’d find out soon that Vanilla Baby would be the next ROH World Champion.

It’s great to see Evil Uno in action, and Blake Christian being on the cusp of being ROH Champion tomorrow night is honestly good for him. He’s a promising young talent that I think would do great as ROH World Champion.

– We got remarks from ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty and Ace Austin ahead of their title bout tomorrow night at Supercard of Honor.

ROH Women’s Pure Championship Proving Ground: Deonna Purrazzo vs. Kaci Lennox

With a ten-minute time limit and the Code of Honor adhered to, this match got underway. Purrazzo and Lennox exchaged standing switches, as the Women’s Pure Champion got ahead of things with a big boot to the face. Purrazzo tried for the piledriver, but Lennox blocked it and grabbed her by the hair to slam her down to the mat. A very cocky Lennox trashtalked her championship foe and punched at her face. Lennox kept up the slander as she chopped Purrazzo in the corner. A punch to the face seemed to fire Purrazzo up as she went after her foe with punches of her own. Lennox got ahead of that with a clothesline.

Lennox lifted Purrazzo up, as she then connected with the straight pump-kick. Purrazzo blocked Lennox in the corner and targeted the arm with the side Russian Leg Sweep followed by the Fujiwara Armbar for the pin and win with 6:24 left in the match.

After the match, Purrazzo’s celebration was interrupted by Diamante, who attacked her from behind. Diamante took Purrazzo’s Womens’s Pure Championship and smashed her in the face with it. For added insult to injury, Diamante applied the Fujiwara Armbar as she stood tall with less than 24 hours to go until her match against Purrazzo for the Women’s Pure Championship.

I thought this was a good match, if a bit short. Obviously, the post-match with Diamante attacking Purrazzo was important and that did a good job to build towards their Women’s Pure Championship match tomorrow night.

Dalton Castle & The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum) vs. Baby Keef, Xander Maddox, & Charlie Malachite

As Castle walked down to the ring, he talked to the camera, upset that he didn’t get to go to an arboretum.

Truth and Malachite opened the match for their teams, and it seemed the cocky Malachite had Truth’s number… at least for a bit. Standing armdrag by Truth stopped that momentum, as did the chop to Malachite’s chest. Turbo tagged in and powered up his guns before he hit the elbow on Malachite. Xander Maddox tagged in and couldn’t take down Turbo with strikes, as Keef tagged in, to similar successes. The Outrunners showed a little vintage teamwork at Keef’s expense, as Malachite tagged in and demanded that Dalton Castle get into the match. Castle tagged in and took his foes for a ride with consecutive overhead throws. We then got triple-stereo scoop slams from the Outrunners and Castle. Turbo and Truth then did the “You Son of a Bitch” handshake and elbow to pick up the win in short order.

Really fun trios match. The Outrunners and Castle tandem makes for really fun stuff as a team. Plus, the beauty of these shows introducing me to new undiscovered talents continues here.

– Athena’s backstage interview was interrupted by an angry Billie Starkz, who was upset that the ROH Womens Champion was once again making everything all out her. Athena angrily responded that she kept Starkz relevant and that Ring of Honor’s women’s division would not exist without her. Starkz begrudgingly said thanks to Athena, who warned her M.I.T. to listen to her, or face the consequences.

Survival of the Fittest Qualifying Match: Hyan vs. Zayda Steel (w/ Christopher Daniels)

Hyan and Steel started quick by trading pins as the latter dodged a kick from Steel. Some really nice work from Hyan year with the roll, followed by standing faceplant and the dropkick. Steel answered with a leg sweep and a dropkick of her own. Outside the ring, Hyan suplexed Steel onto the mat outside. Both women rolled back into the ring and traded some heavy strikes. Steel and Hyan exchanged elbows to the face as the former exhibited a nice rollthrough into a chinlock and transitioning that into a single-arm straitjacket hold. To break the hold, Hyan literally took a bite of the bottom rope before she hit Steel with a spear for a near-fall.

Hyan lifted Steel, but it turned into a pin reversal. The two then traded more pins with nobody able to get the three. Steel nearly got the win on a unique throw that sent Hyan head-first. Hyan’s Gory Special nearly won it, but Steel picked up the win with a rolling facebuster to earn a spot in Survival of the Fittest.

These two made the most of the time they got and we got a fantastic match out of it. Steel and Hyan got a chance to shine and they capitalized on i.

ROH World Television Championship: Nick Wayne (c) (w/ Mother Wayne & Kip Sabian) vs. AR Fox

Our Supercard Showdown main event got underway with Wayne and Fox got into each other’s face as the hatred between the two was palpable. Fox avoided a strike from Wayne as the two then traded pinfall attempts. Fox used his speed to elude Wayne as he then hit a unique rolling swinging suplex from the apron and into the ring. Wayne grabbed the ropes to avoid a Fox kick as he left the ring. He hit Fox in the midsection, but he got hit with a boot to the face. Fox then showed his incredible agility with a moonsault off the ringpost and to a stunned Wayne.

In the ring, Fox battered Wayne with elbows, but a timely interference from Sabian saved his Patriarchy ally from any further arm. Fox was sent crashing out to the ring by a running attack from Wayne. The World Television Champion then hit Sliced Bread, using the steel steps as a launching pad. As Fox struggled to get back up, Sabian huddled with Wayne to give him advice. Fox entered the ring and got choked by Mother Wayne with the ref’s back turned. Legdrop from Wayne was followed by an Eastern Stretch on Fox. The challenger broke the hold with a shinbreaker as he tried to mount a comeback. With Wayne on the apron, Fox showed some more of that innovative offense of his with a middle-rope DDT. That gave Fox a second win with a clotheslines, and an amazing double wristlock into a cutter. Powerbomb by Fox was somehow not enough to get the win here.

Wayne blocked Fox’s attempt at the Spicolli Driver, but that only earned him a kick to the gut. The World Television Champion got back onto the swing of things with a Shiranui for a near-fall. As Fox used the ropes to get back up, Wayne intercepted him and blasted him right in the ribs with the knee. Wayne squeezed at the ribs of Fox, but the challenger broke out of the grip. Fox countered with a wrsitlock, followed by the enzuigiri. Rolling cutter was blocked and turned into a suplex, followed by a Code Red for a 2.999999 near-fall.

Wayne blasted Fox with repeated kicks to the left bicept as he took time to mock his foe. Fox responded with a spit, then the basement cutter. Things quickened as he hit another cutter on the champion. As Wayne rolled outside, Fox hit paydirt with the Fosbury Flop. Sabian got blasted with a dive. In the ring, Wayne blocked Fox’s dive, which opened him up for a kick, but before Wayne could get his move in, Fox quickly rolled him up, and that’s it, over. We have a new Ring of Honor World Television Champion.

After the match, the very creepy face of Lio Rush interrupted the celebration of Fox, simply saying “tomorrow”. We learned from Riccaboni and Caprice Coleman that AR Fox would be defending his newly-won World TV Title against Lio Rush tomorrow night.

AR Fox def. Nick Wayne via pinfall to win the ROH World Television Championship

Incredible, incredible match. AR Fox is an amazing talent and giving him the ROH World TV Title waes the right call here. Fox and Nick Wayne had what I believed was the match of the night here.

The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese, Aria Daivari, Stori Denali) vs. Jacey Love, Ricky Martinez, and Ernest R. Alexander

Tony Nese and Alexander started off for their teams, as the Premier Athletes took control with Daivari helping out his pal Tony Nese in attacking Alexander. Ernest was left alone as he tagged Jacey Love in. This brought the massive Stori Denali into the match. Stori hit Love with a fierce pump kick followed by an F10. Love avoided a Stori clothesline and tagged Martinez in. Similar results for Alexander’s partner, as the Premier Athletes feasted on their foe with an assisted DDT. Love was then brougth in for the chokeslam from Stori as the Premier Athletes got the win.

This is my first of seeing Stori Denali in action, and I’m impressed with what I saw. There’s room for improvement for sure, but I think I liked what I saw out of her.

ROH World Championship Proving Ground: Bandido vs. Action Andretti

Andretti and Bandido did the Code of Honor Handshake as this ten-minute bout got underway. Andretti’s side headlock on Bandido had little sucecss, as a standing shoulder block brought him down afterwards. Banddio showed great agility, but Andretti countered the hurricanrana with a handstand press. A springboard arm drag from Andretti was blocked by Bandido and we’ve got some nice CMLL-style lucha action here tonight.

Bandido flew out of the ring after Andretti avoided an attack from his opponent. Andretti then followed that with a diving attack over the ropes that hit its target. Springboard forearm from Andretti on Bandido couldn’t put this match away. Andretti applied a side headlockd, followed by a running neckbreaker. The ROH World Champion was kept on his toes with a back suplex from Andretti, but a suplex attempt was blocked twice. Bandido used his sheer strength to hit a strong suplex. Bandido answered with a flapjack as he then headed up top for a frog splash. Andretti dodged and nearly got the win on a hurricanrana. He then hit a handspring back elbow on Bandido, followed by the standing moonsault splash. Andretti’s attack was intercepted by BandiDo, who planted him with a one-hand military press. Handspring attack from Andretti was countered into the XD by Bandido, who picked up the win in our Supercard Showdown main event.

Blake Christian and The Twist appeared after the match, as the challenger for the ROH World Title stepped onto the apron and threw the mask he stole from Bandido at him. Christian gestured that he was coming for Bandido’s world title as tonight’s show came to an end.

That was a great main event to end what was a jampacked night of action just 24 hours before Supercard of Honor. Bandido continues to show his stuff in the ring, which made him a standout for me last year. I’m happy to see that continue into this year, and the match with Blake Christian tomorrow should be a heck of a bout.

As for the rest of Supercard Showdown, it was a buffet of great in-ring action and nearly every match delivered in their own way, with my favorite being the Nick Wayne/AR Fox ROH TV Title match and the Death Riders vs. Priest/Billington tag matches. I also enjoyed the story development we got with Billie Starkz seemingly reaching her breaking point with Athena’s belittling and gaslight, so I’m interested to see that play out tomorrow, if it happens.

All in all, Ring of Honor set the table for what should be a great Supercard of Honor show with an action-filled prelude tonight.

Billie Starkz celebrates college graduation: ‘The grind never stopped…it just earned a degree’

The young ROH wrestler Billie Starkz has now officially graduated from college.

At just 21-years-old, Starkz can proudly call herself both a former ROH Women’s World Television Champion as well as a college graduate.

In a recent social media post, Starkz announced her graduation and penned an emotional and motivational caption to go with it. Recalling her wrestling and academic journey, Starks expressed her pride in herself.

“From ring ropes at 13 to a graduation cap in 2026,” she wrote. “Years of bumps, bruises, early mornings, late nights, and chasing a dream that started in a wrestling ring before I even stepped into a college classroom. Here’s to proving you can chase your passion and your education at the same time. The grind never stopped… it just earned a degree.“

The post also attracted several positive comments from fellow AEW wrestlers, Lena Kross, Penelope Ford, Jamie Hayter, Alex Windsor, and more.

What is next for Billie Starkz in ROH?

Just days after her graduation, Starkz is set to compete at ROH Supercard of Honor in a Survival of the Fittest match for the ROH Women’s Title.

She is set to compete against Athena, Maya World, Trish Adora, Yuka Sakazaki, and Zayda Steel for the championship.

ROH TV title match set to air on HonorClub this week

Nick Wayne vs. AR Fox for the ROH World TV Championship is set to air this week.

The match was taped on Saturday at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida following the conclusion of AEW Fairway to Hell. ROH announced on Sunday that it will air on Thursday’s episode of ROH on HonorClub.

Nick Wayne is set to be part of the upcoming Best of the Super Juniors 33. The tournament kicks off on May 14 and runs through June 7. It’s his second time in the BOSJ. Last year, he finished with a 4-5 record and eight points. Kosei Fujita would go on to be the winner.

As for AR Fox, he is coming off a loss to Mike Bailey on the May 6 Collision, but has won his last two ROH matches. Fox defeated Daisuke Sasaki at the April 6 ROH tapings in Jacksonville and Action Andretti at the March 22 tapings. He also unsuccessfully challenged Kazuchika Okada for the International Championship at the March 1 tapings.

Pre Collision –

  • Satnam Singh defeated James Tapia and CD Bennett
  • Josh Woods defeated Angelico with Serpentico in a pure rules match. Post-match, Woods kept attacking Angelico until Serpentico tried to make the save, but was also handled by Woods until Nigel McGuinness made his way to the ring. These two will meet at Supercard of Honor.
  • Zayda Steel with Christopher Daniels defeated Hyan to advance to the Survival of the Fittest match at Supercard of Honor.

Post Collision –

  • Blake Christian with Lee Johnson defeated Evil Uno and Alex Reynolds. Post-match Blake Christian said he’s going to become the new ROH world champion when he faces Bandido at Supercard of Honor.
  • Deonna Purrazzo defeated Kaci Lennox. Post-match Diamante attacked Purrazzo and even used the Fujiwara armbar before holding the Pure Championship ahead of their match at Supercard of Honor.
  • STP of Shane Taylor, Carlie Bravo, and Shawn Dean w Anthony Ogogo and Christyan XO defeated Mance Warner, Ortiz, and Eddie Kingston.
  • AR Fox defeated Nick Wayne with Mother and Kip Sabian to win the ROH Television Championship. Post-match, Lio Rush was shown, and Tony Khan, off-air, added Fox vs. Lio would be at Supercard of Honor.

ROH notes: New Supercard of Honor match, next week’s lineup

Ring of Honor’s first streaming special of 2026 — Supercard of Honor — got a new title match added Thursday in addition to a new qualifying match and more content next week.

Red Velvet will defend her ROH Women’s TV title against Viva Van next Friday in Salisbury, Maryland. It will be the champion’s first title defense since March 27 and her fourth defense since regaining the title at last December’s Final Battle. Van’s last ROH appearance came in early-April.

Next week will also see the final entrant decided for the ROH Women’s World title Survival of the Fittest match after Persephone had to withdraw due to injury.

On the Thursday Supercard Showdown episode of ROH TV, Zayda Steel will face Hyan with the winner joining champion Athena, Maya World, Billie Starkz, Yuka Sakazaki, and Trish Adora.

Next Thursday will also see ROH TV Champion Nick Wayne defending against AR Fox.

Ring of Honor presents its weekly show on HonorClub tonight.

Matches for this week’s episode were taped on April 6 at WJCT Studios in Jacksonville, Florida.

Nine matches have been announced for the show, including Red Velvet vs. Rachael Ellering in a Women’s World TV title Proving Ground match. The Rascalz will also be in action against MxM TV. The Grizzled Young Vets vs. Adam Priest & Tommy Billington is also scheduled.

And begin it does! With only one week until Supercard of Honor, I imagine we will be getting a lot of matches set up tonight (Just kidding, we’ll find out around 2pm on the 15th) in what looks to be a cavalcade of tag team turmoil on tonight’s show!

Eddie Kingston & Ortiz vs. The Infantry (Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean) (w/Shane Taylor)

Middle fingers were thrown, bells were rung and Bravo and Ortiz kicked things off with Otiz landing a scoop slam. They fought until Dean was able to grab a blind tag and exploded through the ropes laying hands on Ortiz.

The Infantry went for a double team, which brought in Kingston and a brawl ensued. The only one not involved was Taylor at ringside. When the dust settled Ortiz and Bravo were legal. Bravo put Orrtiz in a tree of woe and he resorted to biting to fend off Bravo.

Ortiz stayed in the tree of woe while Kingston chased Bravo and Dean around the ring. Bravo got back in and dropkicked Ortiz, ending his time in the tree. From there Bravo took him to stomp city and sent him to the Infantry corner for a double team.

Otiz came back with a jawbreaker, but when he went for the tag, he found nothing but a clothesline. The Infantry tagged in and out, splashing Ortiz in the corner. The BBC was deployed by Dean and Bravo turned to the camera to encourage kids to “please try this at home.”

Otiz finally got a tag to Kingston who set up the Infantry in opposite corners for big splashes and belly rubs, I mean open hand chops. Ortiz hit a spinebuster on Bravo, but he kicked out of Kingston’s cover at two.

Dean came in and dropped Kingston with a lungblower. Ortiz tagged back in just in time to eat a combination neckbreaker from the Infantry. The Infantry went for Boot Camp, but Kingston interrupted with an exploder on Dean.

Ortiz then came in and wrapped up Bravo in a trap pin to get the 1-2-3.

Match Result: Eddie Kingston & Ortiz defeated The Infantry

After the match, Taylor joined Bravo and Dean in a brief beatdown, but Mance Warner of all people came down to make the save and run off STP.

Pure Rules Match: Josh Woods vs. Beef

Unless there is something I don’t know (which according to my wife is DEFINITELY possible) I cannot see a reason why Beef is in this match.

Beyond that though, the bell rang and the two big men did a bunch of striking. Eventually, Woods got Beef in a lec scissor and Beef used his first rope break at 0:33. Beef started throwing bombs, sending Woods to the outside, but it cost him his one closed fist warning at 1:22.

Woods met Beef where he lives, throwing strikes and suplexes. He bridged a German Suplex, but Beef kicked out. Beef threw a dropkick followed by a splash in the corner and a series of lariats. He then hit a bulldog on Woods followed by a second rope crossbody.

Woods finally managed to get Beef off his feet and put on an ankle lock. Beef countered it, but Woods went right back with a triangle leg/waist lock. Beef immediately tapped out and everyone went “ok.”

Match Result: Josh Woods defeated BEEF

-Backstage, ROH Women’s Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo cut a promo on Diamante, calling her out for copying her after Diamante used the fujiwara last week. They will meet at Supercard of Honor.

Bang Bang Gang (Ace Austin & Juice Robinson) vs. The Workhorsemen (Anthony Henry & JD Drake)

Austin and Henry started things offwith duelling wristlocks until Henry resorted to hair pulling. Austin countered with a dropkick, sending Henry into the waiting tag of Drake. Robinson tagged in and grabbed a headlock on Drake. Drake countered it and then no-sold a bunch of shoulder tackles from Robinson.

Robinson started flexing at him, and then they both went off the ropes with Robinson dropping down to trip Drake up. That brought in Henry who avenged his partner with a headlock. But then Drake grabbed a blind tag to get back in and suplex Robinson across the ring. On the outside, Henry took out Austin.

Drake became the third wrestler tonight to resort to biting, but the bitee, Robinson, started punching him in the gut. Henry came in and hit a drop toe hold on Robinson, sending him into Drake’s knees. Henry then stomped and twisted Robinson’s arms.

Drake tagged in with a rolling senton and then pretended to moon Austin in the corner. Zing.

Robinson blocked a sulplex, so Drake switched to a lariat and then splash in the corner. Henry tagged in Robinson dodged his charge and rolled through a tag to Austin. Austin cleaned house, landing a springboard kick to send Drake out of the ring. Henry came in and Austin avoided his offense before landing a spingboard crossbody on Drake.

Austin hit a gutwrench powerbomb for a two count on Henry and Robinson came in to help him with a double team. Drake took out Austin on the outside and Henry hit a shining wizard on Robinson for a two count. He followed that up with a double stomp and a high crossbody from Drake, but Austin broke up the pin.

Austin out of nowhere hit The Fold on Henry, but Drake was the legal man. Robinson hit Drake wth a swining front face DDT and that was able to put the big man down for three. We’ll just assume they were the legal men.

Match Result: Bang Bang Gang defeated The WorkHorsemen

Backstage Zayda Steel announced that she’s going to face Hyan in a qualifier next week to see who takes Persephone’s place in the Survival of the Fittest Match for the Women’s World Title at Supercard of Honor.

Then, Maya World and Hyan responded with a promo of their own, saying that no one is ready for the two of them (has anyone checked with Auska?). They promised to take what is theirs at Supercard.

Action Andretti vs. Nathan Cruz

Andretti arrived in a very tiny vest and did not give us any new information about what the heck is going on with his alleged tag partner and noted wierdo, Lio Rush. Really sparkly pants though.

Cruz grabbed a wristlock off the top and Andretti said “I want one of those!” and grabbed one of his own. The speed picked up and they ran the ropes with Andretti landing a headscissor and doing a little dancing.

Andretti sent Cruz to the corner and Cruz reversed the whip before landing a back breaker. Cruz put Andretti in a fireman’s carry which Andretti countered with a big forearm to the face. Andretti went for a handspring back elboe, sending Cruz out of the ring.

Andretti leapt off the second rope and hit Cruz with a moonsault before sending him abck into the ring. Andretti hit a running shooting star press for a two count. Andretti went for a torture rack, but Cruz got out of it and hit a sit out powerbomb for a two count of his own.

Lio Rush then wandered out, but not in the weird way. He seemed perfectly normal. That confused Cruz, the audience and this reporter.

However, the distraction allowed Andretti to hit a running neckbreaker and pick up the win.

Match Result: Action Andretti defeated Nathan Cruz

The Frat House (Cole Karter & Griff Garrison) vs. Alec Price & Jordan Oliver (Bustah and the Brain)

Garrison and Karter jumped Oliver and Price right off the top and Karter tried to roll up Price to end it quick. Price kicked out though and Garrison tagged in. He held back Price from making a tag to Oliver and dragged him back to the Frat House corner for some double teaming while Jacked Jameson yelled nonsense on the outside.

Price got a flipping tag to Oliver who took out Karter and then they double teamed Garrison with a really impressive back cutter. Jameson then got up on the ring tro cause a distraction, allowing Karter to dropkick Price.

Garrison joined them for a helicopter bomb, but Price kicked out. Karter made a tag and Price hit him with a dropkick. He made a tag to Oliver and they double teamed Karter. Price then leapt over the ropes to take out the Frat House on the outside.

Price hit a driving elbow while Oliver held Karter and that was it. Price and Oliver get the win.

Match Result: Alec Price & Jordan Oliver defeated The Frat House

Eight Man Tag Team Match: Spanish Announce Project (Angelico & Serpentico) & The Colons (Eddie Colon & Orlando Colon) vs Alexander Lev, Better Together (Hadar Horvitz & Ori Gold) & Hunter James

SAP teamed with a the Colons two weeks ago in a victory over The Frat House. It was so much fun, they thought they’d try it again against some local talent.

Angelico started off against Horvitz, who grabbed a headlock, bringing Angelico to his knees. Angelico reversed it and tagged in Serpentico who hit a double stomp on Horvitz’s arm. Gold tagged in and Serpentico slammed him into an arm lock.

Eddie tagged in and hit a drop toe hold, hanging Gold up on the ropes. Orlando then flipped in, but Horvitz grabbed a tag and and they double teamed Orlando. James tagged in next and hit a high knee into a powerslam. Orlando kicked out and James grabbed a headlock.

Horvitz and Godl traded tags and then put Orlando in a hugging hammerlock before tagging in Lev. He went for a neckbreaker, but Orlando countered it into one of his own. Hot tags were made on both sides and Eddie and James traded dropkicks.

Eddie locked James in a figure four in the middle of the ring what was broken up by Lev. Then everyone started brawling until Angelico cleared the ring and Serpentico dove onto the field on the outside.

Eddie hit a lungblower on James followed by a frog splash from Orlando and that was it. SAP and the Colons win.

Match Result: Spanish Announce Project & The Colons defeated Alexander Lev, Better Together & Hunter James

-Backstage, Lexy Nair approached Action Andretti who was leaving a voicemail for Lio Rush, begging for him to call him. She asked him what was going on and Andretti said he didn’t have any answers.

Main Man Oro & Kiran Grey vs. The Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese) w/Stori Denali and Mark Sterling

Daivari started off against Grey, who exited the ring to yell at Sterling. When he got back into the ring, Nese was there and he put him in a tree of woe and then kicked him a bunch, working out his abs in the process.

Daivari tagged back in and held Grey for Nese to punch in the gut. Nese held Grey while Daivari went for a shoulder tackle, but Gre got out of the way and they collided.

Nese recovered and went for a pumphandle on Oro, but Grey broke it up and started brawling with Daivari on the outside. Oro countered a second pumphandle, but Nese got him with an atomic drop. Daivari came in and they hit a double slam on Oro and that was it.

Match Result: The Premier Athletes defeated Kiran Grey & Oro

Next, Caprice Coleman “chopped it up” with the Lethal Twist, Jay Lethal, Blake Christian and Lee Johnson. Coleman asked why Lethal was hanging out with Christian and Johnson. Lethal said he liked them better than Priest and Billington and Coleman asked about Sanjay Dutt and Jeff Jarrett.

Lethal got offended by this and said that they were all together to help each other. He then bigged up Christian (who’s facing Bandido at Supercard). Coleman asked if Lethal would get the first title shot if Christian won and they all stormed off.

Caprice Coleman is great at calling matches, but doesn’t seem to be very good at “chopping it up.”

ROH Women’s World Television Title Proving Ground Match: Red Velvet (c) vs. Rachael Ellering

Off the bell, Ellering clocked Velvet with a lariat then picked her up for a gutwrench suplex. Ellering landed another one and went for a cover, but Velvet kicked out. Ellering chopped Velvet into the ropes but spent too much time talking to the crowd and Velvet came back with a meteora.

Ellering hit a shoulder tackle but Velvet countered with a high pump kick. She went for a moonsault, but Ellering moved and hit two back to back sentons. Velvet came back with another high kick and went for a suplex but couldn’t get Ellering up. Ellering countered one final attempt into a suplex of her own.

Ellering hit a pop up slam off the ropes for a two count. Velvet came back and tried another kick, but Ellering caught it and hit a boss man slam. Ellering left herself open and Velvet hit a big right hand followed by the Kitchen Sink. She made the pin and got the three count to dash Ellering’s hopes.

Match Result: Red Velvet defeated Rachael Ellering

It was then announced that Red Velvet will face Viva Van for some reason for the Women’s TV Title at Supercard.

Tommy Billington & Adam Priest vs. Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson)

Gibson faced off against Billington and they tied up with Gibson getting Billington to the mat and trying to force him into a pin. Billington powered back though, avoiding the pin. Once he got to his feet, Billington grabbed a wristlock and they ran through some chain wrestling.

Billington overtook Gibson who retreated to his corner and tagged in Drake who took down Billington with a shoulder tackle. They wormed around the ring trying to get headlocks in, but Billington needed to tag in Priest to break the stalemate.

They hit a double suplex on Drake and Billington went back to legal and grabbed a headlock, then a back body drop. Priest tagged back in and he and Drake fought in the corner, trading chops. Gibson tagged in and shoved Priest into the ropes before levelling him with some hard forearms.

Drake tagged in and Gibson picked him up and dropped him onto Priest for a two count. Gibson tagged in and they worked the arm of Priest, isolating him from making a tag.

Priest fought off Gibson, but Drake was able to get a sleeper on him. Priest countered it into a back suplex and went for a tag, but Gibson pulled Billington off the apron. Gibson tagged in a hit a back suplex into a tight headlock on Priest.

Priest managed to fight Gibson off and hit a neckbreaker. Drake tagged in as Priest got the hot tag to Billington. He fought off both Drake and Gibson with a series of suplexes. He then locked in a crossface on Drake, but Gibson dragged him to the ropes to break it.

Drake a Gibson slipped to the outside and Billington and Priest dove on them from opposite ringposts. They brought Drake back into the ring and hit a clothesline/German suplex combo for a two count. Gibson re entered the ring in time to take dropkick from Billington while Priest and Drake traded blows.

Priest put a one-leg Boston crab on Drake. Gibson tried to break it up, but Billington put him in a crossface. Gibson broke free and Priest let go, giving Drake a chance to try and roll him up. Priest countered though and tried a pile driver, but Gibson intercepted and they double teamed him with a doomsday device.

Billington came back in and put Gibson in the crossface again, leaving Drake vulnerable for the rollup from Priest. 1-2-3 Billington and Priest win.

Match Result: Adam Priest & Tommy Billington defeated Grizzled Young Veterans

Six Man Tag Match: MxMxTV (Johnny TV, Mansoor & Mason Madden) vs. The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Myron Reed & Zachary Wentz)

Poses were struck, tips were touched and Mansoor got ready to start the match against Reed. Mansoor got the upper hand early, but Reed came back quickly in between poses. Madden and TV then started their own “this is awesome” chant on the apron.

Reed hit a springboard dropkick on Mansoor and the Rascalz hit a quick triple team, leaving Wentz legal. Madden and TV caused a distraction and Mansoor poked the Xavier in the eye. Madden tagged in and hit a high spin kick on Xavier, sending him to the MxMxTV corner for some triple teaming and triple posing.

Reed came in and broke it up, fighting off Madden and Mansoor before putting TV up in a fireman’s carry. TV got out of it and hit a neckbreaker into a pin for a two count. TV threw Reed out of the ring for Madden and Mansoor to beat up while he talked trash to Xavier.

TV whiffed on a springboard kick, but Mansoor and Madden double teamed Reed, resulting in a two count. Madden stayed legal and hit Reed with a headbutt that crumpled him. TV tagged in and they went high/low on Reed for another two count.

Reed hit TV with a stunner, but that sent him into Mansoor who tagged in. Reed dispatched him then hit another stunner on TV for good measure. Wentz and Madden tagged in and Wentz took him and then Mansoor out.

The Rascalz picked up some momentum, running through hot tags and taking out whoever was in the ring until Madden flattened Reed with a big kick. He then hit a spinning slam on Reed, but during the post, Xavier came back in and broke it up, poking Madden in the eyes.

Madden went for a chokeslam, but grabbed Mansoor by accident. The Rascalz hit a triple kick and then a swan dive, 450 and twisting moonsault in sequence on Mansoor to pick up the victory.

Match Result: The Rascalz defeated MxMxTV

Former WWE NXT interviewer now playing roller derby

Former backstage interviewer for NXT Kelly Kincaid, formerly Quinn McKay in ROH, is now playing roller derby in the Orlando area.

Kincaid had been with WWE since 2022. She made her debut on an episode of NXT Level Up in February of that year after previously working as Quinn McKay in ROH starting in 2019.

Kincaid announced earlier this year that her WWE contract expired on February 14 and that she was not given the option to renew.

On Saturday, Kincaid posted a statement to Instagram noting that she is finding her identity outside of wrestling again. She wrote that she has gone back to playing roller derby.

Kelly Kincaid’s statement:

“I didn’t have an identity outside of work for eight years. I’ve never had more fun in my life than when I was Quinn McKay at Ring of Honor. I poured my heart and soul into her, and I like to think it showed. But it was an all consuming love, and I spent every waking moment figuring out how to build that character.

WWE was another story. It’s a rewarding, but very demanding, job. Everything I thought I knew about my craft was dissected, analyzed, and turned around. It wasn’t better or worse than what was expected of me at ROH, it was just different. I loved all the moments I spent with you as Kelly Kincaid, even if it was incredibly different than what I would have chosen to give you.

So I guess this is a very delayed thank you for spending those eight years with me. I don’t know if I’ll ever return to wrestling. As we’re told over and over again at the performance center, “it comes for us all”. And I’ve spent the last three months figuring out what that means for me, and how I exist outside that bubble.

I had forgotten who I was while living inside different characters for so long. So I’ve gone back to my roots. I’ve started playing roller derby again. It’s given me my life back. I love my family. I love to riot. I love skating.

I can see just the barest glimpse of who I used to be. If you’re in the Orlando area, come check out a game sometime. It’s like wrestling, but you know… on roller skates. And after four very long years, I’m stepping back into my own spotlight.”

Kincaid is likely referring to Orlando Roller Derby, a flat track roller derby league based in the metro Orlando area. In a separate message, she said her skater name is Buffy Stunners and that she wears number 25. However, it’s not clear what team she skates for. Games are listed as taking place at the Barnett Park Gym at 4801 W. Colonial Dr.

Based on previous social media posts, Kincaid used to play for the Springfield Roller Girls in her hometown of Springfield, Missouri.

Viva Van vs. Sara Leon is advertised for the show.

Christyan XO of Shane Taylor Promotions will be in singles action against Frankie B.

Paid in Full, the team of Big Bill and Bryan Keith, will be in tag team action. Their opponents have yet to be announced.

The IInspiration, Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay, will be in action.

Top Flight’s Dante Martin and Darius Martin will wrestle Soleil and Gringo Loco.

ROH Women’s Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo will face Remi Reade in a Proving Ground match.

Stori Denali of The Premier Athletes will make her ROH singles debut.

Mance Warner will make his Ring of Honor debut as he faces Shane Taylor.

Also, it will be TMDK against The Don Callis Family in a six-man tag team match.

It’s true, I’m mostly alive and covering Ring of Honor on Honorclub! it’s a packed show tonight, so let’s get right into it shall we?

Konosuke Takeshita vs Matt Menard

And it started with a bang as the 4-0 in ROH Takeshita opened the evening against Quebec’s own Matt “Daddy Magic” Menard. Takeshita is a Callis Family member and Menard is presumably a Habs fan. Takeshita had what was pretty much the ROH Match of the year at Supercard of Honor 2025 against Bandido.

Off the top, Takeshita tried to take control, but Menard played a bunch of French Canadian mind games, stopping and starting and throwing Takeshita off. Menard managed to get a scoop slam on the bigger man and Takeshita slid to the outside to collect his thoughts.

Menard tried to move things along, but Takeshita pulled him out of the ring and brutalized him on the barricade with a big boot. He dragged Menard back into the ring and laid some knees and elbows in. Menard fought back, but it was short lived with Takeshita maintaining control and twisting by the neck.

Menard built up some steam throwing clotheslines off of a missed discus elbow by Takeshita. Menard hit a DDT that stood Takeshita on his head, but he still managed to kick out at two.

Menard picked a fight with the bigger man who hit him with a right cross and then a blue thunder bomb, which anyone who’s seen wrestling knows cannot end a match. So, Takeshita hit Menard with a big knee to the face and that was enough to put him down.

Match Result: Konosuke Takeshita defeated Matt Menard

Shane Taylor vs Mance Warner

From one heavy hitter to another, as Talyor, one third of the ROH Six Man Tag Champions with The Infantry took on the debuting “king of the brawlers” Mance Warner. The king has his work cut out for him though, giving up at least 100lbs on Taylor.

Taylor spat on Warner’s Code of Honor and the Warner wiped it into his hair. Gross.

The strikes were heavy off the top with both men coming out swinging. Warner no-sold a bunch of Taylor offense which I didn’t think was possible, but eventually Taylor wore him down. Warner came back with a Three-Stooges eye poke, before sending Taylor into the barricade on the outside.

Warner went to jump off the apron, but Taylor caught him in mid air and threw him into the ring post. Then he threw him into the steps for good measure. Taylor dropped a guillotine leg drop on Warner’s chest on the ring apron (the droppiest part of the ring!) and sent him back in.

Taylor then pulled a chair out from under the ring and set it up but the steps. Warner exited the ring swinging, but Taylor dazed him and set him up in the chair for a running forearm to the face. Taylor threw Warner back into the ring and no-sold some body jabs.

Taylor laid Warner out with a lariat, but could only get a two count. Taylor hit a Rock Bottom followed by a splash, but Warner still wouldn’t go down and kicked out at two. Taylor scoop slammed him and then went to the second rope for a splash, but Warner moved out of the way.

Warner tried his best to come back with lariats and something of a back suplex. He then went for the chair, bringing it into the ring. He used it to launch himself into a tornado DDT on Taylor, and the ref got rid of it.

Taylor caught one of Warner’s running knees and threw him back to the mat. Warner tried to out head-butt Taylor, but that just opened him up for a Marcus Garvey Driver. Taylor made the pin and won the match .

Match Result: Shane Taylor defeated Mance Warner

-Backstage the Premier Athletes were interviewed. Mark Sterling said that it’s been 234 days since he was last attacked and thanked the Athletes for protecting him. Tony Nese put the locker room on notice that if anyone in the locker room lays a finger on Sterling, they will have to deal with the Premier Athletes. Which makes sense because that’s who they are and he’s their lawyer.

Stori Denali (w/Mark Sterling) vs Jacey Love

And that took us out to the ring where Sterling declared Denali to be an “act of God” and a “lawsuit waiting to happen.” Are we sure Sterling is a lawyer and not an insurance broker? Anyway, Jacey Love didn’t get an intro and was about two feet shorter than Denali, so the odds weren’t really in her favour.

Denali threw Love around the ring, letting her tie up every now and again. Love tried to take Denali off her feet with some shoulder tackles to Denali’s thigh (thats how big the height difference was) but Denali just shrugged it off.

Coleman and Riccaboni started talking about Podcasts and Denali beat up on Love, ending the match with a chokeslam and a standing cover.

Somewhere, Satnam Singh smiled and didn’t know why.

Match Result: Stori Denali defeated Jacey Love

Alan Angels vs Lio Rush

Rush is working a new gimmick where he’s the “Blackheart” Lio Rush. Apparently, that means he just crawls around a bunch to Mankind b-side music and talks to himself while wearing Marilyn Manson contacts. Personally, I preferred the big coats of Cru, but to each their own.

Anyway, Rush started the match talking to his own hand and Angels slapped him in the face about it. Rush found this hilarious and went for a choke, but Angels wouldn’t let him get a hold of him. Rush changed tactics and clotheslined him.

Rush’s weird eyes freaked out Angels, but he recovered enough to kick him in the gut. From there they ran through a technical exchange that let to Rush getting a two count and Angels bailing to the outside. Angels chopped Rush who seemed to like it? Angels then hit a cannonball off the apron onto Rush on the outside.

Angels hit a Northern Lights Suplex into a bridge pin, but Rush kicked out at two. Rush hit a Thez Press off the ropes, but Angels came back with a shoulder to the face. Rush dodged a splash and bit Angels on the head. He hit a springboard Stunner, but Angels kicked out.

Angels hit a powerbomb followed by a spin kick, but Rush kicked out at two. Angels went for a butterfly suplex, but Rush powered out of it and they traded pinning combinations. Angels hit a series of German Suplexes and went up top.

Angels hit a big splash, but Rush kicked out. Rush hit a stunner on the apron followed by a rolling heel kick to send Angels to the outside. Rush then ran aound the ring like an animal and brought Angels back in for a Blue Thunder Bomb that, in spite of what I said earlier and every wrestling match I’ve ever seen, ended the match.

That’s how you know Lio Rush is weird.

Match Result: Lio Rush defeated Alan Angels

ROH Women’s Pure Title Proving Ground Match: Deonna Purrazzo [c] vs Remi Reade

Next, we headed to the Proving Ground and Women’s Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo giving a potential title shot to the newcomer Remi Reade.

The clock started and Reade and Purrazzo traded wristlocks until Reade got Purrazzo into a scissor lock that Purrazzo easily got out of. Purrazzo went for a backslide but only got a one count. Reade and Purrazzo spent more time posing than wrestling in the first two minutes which was an interesting strategy on Reade’s part.

Purrazzo threw Reade into the ropes and put on a quick hold, costing her a rope break at 7:52. They traded kicks and Purrazzo hit a sit out powerbomb into the fujiwara lock. Reade immediately tapped and that was it.

Match Result: Deonna Purrazzo defeated Remi Reade

Top Flight (Dante Martin & Darius Martin) (w/Christopher Daniels) vs Gringo Loco & Soleil

Soleil had a great debut a few weeks ago and Gringo is, well, loco. Their lucha skills will come in handy against the high-flying Martin brothers.

Darius and Gringo kicked things off with a flurry of off-the-ropes strikes. Dante and Soleil tagged in and Soleil did a couple of really impressive Matrix-style dodges to avoid Dante. Dante finally caught Soleil and sent him into the corner for a snap suplex and diving senton.

Darius tagged in and Soleil hit a big boot as Gringo tagged in. Darius sent them both to the outside and then dove after them. He seemed to take the worst of it though and Darius got back into the ring against Gringo. Soleil tagged in and they double teamed Darius until Gringo exited and it was one-on-one.

Soleil postioned Darious as Gringo went up top for a split-legged moonsault. Darious hit a rolling clothesline and got a tag to Dante who met Soleil in the ring with a springboard crossbody. Dante hit a high knee and Gringo tagged in. They threw Dante around and Soleil hit a twisting meteora from the top turnbuckle.

Darius came in to help but ate a sideswipe kick from Soleil. Dante tagged in and hit a satellite DDT on Gringo. Darious joined him and the nailed Gringo with a double facebuster to get the win.

Match Result: Top Flight defeated Gringo Loco & Soleil

The IInspiration (Cassie Lee & Jessie McKay) vs B3CCA & Madi Maxx

It is always a pleasure to see McKay and Lee doing their thing. B3CCA, in spite of not knowing how to spell, grabbed Maxx and mocked the IInspiration’s entrance, and possibly their inability to spell as well.

The tags were quick as McKay and Lee worked B3CCA over. Maxx tried to help, but ate a double kick to the gut for her trouble. Mckay and Lee hit duelling splashes and knees in the corner before locking in their signature pose.

McKay isolated B3CCA in the Iinspiration’s Ccorner, bouncing her head of the turnbuckles in sequence. B3CCA managed to get a back elbow in and get a tag to Maxx. Maxx came flying out of the corner right into a double team. B3CCA tried to help but Mckay hit a swinging neckbreaker.

The IInspiration hit a double underhook facebusters and then the Finalizer to get the pin and victory. As they should.

Match Result: The IInspiration defeated B3CCA & Madi Maxx

Caprice Coleman then “chopped it up” with Ian Riccaboni. Essentially, they just talked about how they enjoy working together as the longest-running duo in professional wrestling (apparently). Riccaboni then invited Red Velvet in to be “chopped it up” with.

Coleman looked very nervous talking to Velvet due to either unpreparedness or a crush. It wasn’t really clear. Then it ended. The segment just ended.

Viva Van vs Sara Leon

While we all tried to wrap our heads around that, Leon and Van made their entrances. Leon was touted as an actor (in Spain) and had a metric ton of energy to her.

Van took control off the bell but Leon was able to keep her wits about her and throw Van out of a wristlock. Van dropped a knee on Leon’s arm and then dropped to her knees and posed. That drew Leon into a lock up and Van transitioned it into an arm bar.

Leon rolled it through into a pin attempt, but Van exploded back and dropped her with a spinning heel kick. Van hit a big boot and an upkick before picking Leon up on her shoulders. Leon countered the electric Chair into a hurricanrana.

Van countred by wrapping her up in an ankle lock. She dropped a knee on Leon’s leg and transitioned into a surfboard stretch. Leon managed to bridge out of it and stunned Van with a back elbow.

Van hit a driver and Van put her up in a straight jacket electric chair, dropping Leon to the mat on her back. Van made the cover and picked up the win.

Match Result: Viva Van defeated Sara Leon

Paid In Full (Big Bill & Bryan Keith) vs Nick Halen & Vin Parker

Paid In Full have been working as mercenaries in ROH, taking out whoever they are paid to take out. I don’t know who Halen and Parker made mad to put them in Bill and Keith’s sights, but here we are.

Keith exploded off the bell with a clothesline that dropped Halen. Halen tried to come back with a second rope dropkick, but Keith punched him in the face in mid air. He then hit a t-bone suplex and raked the eyes of Halen.

Bill tagged in and once again I marveled at how far he’s come in terms of skill and physique. He knocked Parker off the apron then threw a couple of splashes in the corner on Halen. Parker tried to help, but Bill dispatched him. Bill and Keith each hit a big boot on Halen and that was it. Keith made the pin to win the match.

Match Result: Paid In Full defeated Nick Halen & Vin Parker

Christyan XO (w/Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean) vs Frankie B

This is the singles debut of XO, coming off the very tall heels of Stori Denali’s singles match earlier in the show. I imagine that eventually someone in ROH will say “hey we’ve got two really tall women here!” and have them fight each other, but for now I’m sure we’ll enjoy both of them Lance Archer-ing their way through the ROH Women’s roster.

XO held her hand up high, preventing B from locking up. She did this a bunch, and eventually B figured out she could just punch her. XO kocked her to the ground and B tried to roll XO up, but couldn’t pull the big woman down.

B leapt up to try a sleeper, but XO shrugged her off and set her up on the top turnbuckle for a headscissor. B tried to come back, but XO dropped her with a big boot while the Infantry cheered. She hit a scissor kick and made the pin to pick up the victory in the battle of women with letters for last names.

Match Result: Christyan XO defeated Frankie B

Don Callis Family (Mark Davis, Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta) vs TMDK (Bad Dude Tito, Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste)

And then it was Main Event time as TMDK air-drummed their way to the ring to take on select members of the Don Callis Family. Also, have you seen Trent Beretta’s episode of Floor Is Lava on Netflix? It’s great, he teams with Orange Cassidy and Kris Stratlander. They don’t win.

Anyway, Davis towered over every other participant in the match, but Tito and Romero were the ones to kick things off. Tito no-sold a chop from Romero then sent him scrambling into Beretta’s arms with a chop of his own.

Tito immediately drove Beretta into the corner then threw him with a snap suplex. Nicholls and Haste ran in to drop double fists on Beretta, with Haste staying legal. Beretta started spamming superkicks, sending Haste out of the ring where Davis picked him up and lawn-darted him into Nicholls.

Back in the ring, the Callis Family isolated Haste in their corner and beat him up with a bunch of quick tags. Davis then started throwing bombs on him in the opposite corner. Then isolation. Then Bombs. Then Isolation. It went on like this for a while.

Davis scoop slammed Haste, but whiffed on the senton. Romero tagged in, cutting off Haste from making a tag. Haste kicked him and got the hot one to Nicholls. Nicholls took out Beretta and Romero, but Romero fired back off the ropes.

Davis and Tito got hot tags and the two brusiers traded forearms and elbows. Tito missed a spinning kick and Davis made him pay for it with suplexes. Tito managed to cut off a Davis lariat with a superkick, laying both men out.

They got to their knees and traded forearms. Then they got to their feet and traded forearms. Then they traded spinning kicks. That’s not true, Davis got the kick in, but Tito blocked the next move and set Davis up on the top turnbuckle. Tito managed to execute the superplex and subsequent brainbuster, but Davis kicked out of the cover.

With Romero and Beretta taken care of, TMDK triple teamed Davis until Beretta flew in to break up a pin. Tito took on Beretta and Romero who nailed him with stereo high knees. Davis came back in and hit Tito with a shining wizard for a two count.

The match completely deteriorated after that with people in black trunks just hitting other people in black trunks, while other people in black trunks watched.

Tito managed to double clothesline Romero and Beretta out of the ring, leaving him and Davis one-on-one. Davis executed a really nasty piledriver on Tito and I guess he was legal because he made the pin and won the match.

Match Result: Don Callis Family defeated TMDK

May 14, 2007 Observer Newsletter: The curse of the WWE SmackDown World title, TNA vs. ROH conflict

Nearly 19 years later, the entire 2007 run of the Wrestling Observer Newsletters is complete with the May 14, 2007 issue.

And given the past month, it’s an interesting one for sure.

Dave Meltzer did a deep dive into what he called the “cursed” WWE SmackDown title due to injuries to Undertaker and Mr. Kennedy that threw everything into a bit of chaos which didn’t just start with them.

He also discussed the start of a bit of a war/conflict between TNA and ROH after the latter announced a bi-monthly taped PPV deal that TNA didn’t like one bit. Given TNA’s last month+ of news, this seemed oddly timely.

Dave also has more information on 2006 WWE financials, the financial success of WrestleMania 2007 (spoiler: it wasn’t as big as this year’s but it makes for a good read of how things used to be), plus news and reviews from around the wrestling and MMA world.

One more missing 2008 issue will be uploaded over the next two weeks, but 2007 is now complete as is every year from 1991 to current.

Ring of Honor is back on Honor Club tonight.

Matches for this week’s show were taped on the March 22 ROH tapings in Jacksonville, Florida.

Billie Starkz will wrestle Hyan in singles competition. An eight-man tag team match will see The Frat House go up against The Colons, Angelico, and Serpentico. In a Pure Rules match, Diamante will face Rachael Ellering.

In singles competition, Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family will wrestle BEEF. A segment where Caprice Coleman “chops it up” with Lee Moriarty is also advertised.

I don’t know about you, but I’m very much looking forward to Caprice Coleman “chopping it up” with Lee Moriarty. But first on thisn the day of ROH, we must wrestle! 

The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari and Stori Denali) vs Angelica Risk, Brandon Cutler and Terry Kid

And wrestle they shall, after Mark Sterling does his trash talking thing. 

Denali and Risk started the match which allowed Denali to kick her a bunch. She whipped Risk into the corner and laid her very large knees into Risk’s gut. Nese and Cutler tagged in for a minute, but Denali preferred to do the heavy lifting and tagged back in, crushing Risk with a choke slam and ending the match.

Match Result: The Premier Athletes defeated Angelica Risk, Brandon Cutler and Terry Kid

Mark Davis vs BEEF

Oh Beef. My dear, sweet Beef. Davis refused his very enthusiastic Code of Honor and shoved him into the corner off of the opening tie up. Rude.

Davis is Australian, so as Beef grabbed a headlock, Ian Riccaboni made some AC/DC jokes. Davis put Beef down with a shoulder tackle, but that just made Beef hotter who hit him with one of his own, sending Davis out of the ring.

On the outside, Davis chopped Beef (and then added him to a nice stew) before going for a suplex on the ring apron. Beef fought back though and tried to powerbomb him off the apron, but Davis dropped down to stop the move.

Back in the ring, Davis stood up to some chops from Beef before knocking him down with one of his own. Davis went for a senton, but Beef moved and cartwheeled around him off the ropes. In Mexico, Jack Cartwheel wept and didn’t know why.

They started throwing jabs in the middl of the ring, with Beef yelling “beef!” with every bowl struck. Beef went for a Bulldog, but Davis countered with a German suplex. Beef came back with a lariat and went up top.

Shockingly, Davis cut him off with more chops and dropped him with a superplex, drawing comparissons to Barry Windham. Davis went for a gut wrench, but Beef blocked it. Beef tried to steal it with a roll up, but Davis kicked out.

Beef hit a suplex, then tried to go up top again. He threw himself for a crossbody, but Davis moved and clotheslined him, possibly from hell. Davis made the pin and picked up the victory.

Match Result: Mark Davis defeated BEEF

MxMxTV (Mansoor, Mason Madden and Johnny TV) vs Main Man Oro, Keagan Garland and Angel Fashion

TV must have picked up that Kurt Angle thing, becuase he still hasn’t grown any of his hair back. Madden and Mansoor offered him a wig on the way to the ring, but he refused.

TV started off the match against Fashion, who teasingly ran his hands through his long luxurious hair to taunt TV. That set him off and TV peppered his midsection with shots to the point Madden had to pull him off and let Mansoor tag in against Oro.

The speed picked up from here, with Oro tagging in Garland for a double team. Mansoor grabbed a tag to Madden who came in to double team Garland and make with the posing. Madden knocked Oro and Fashion off the apron and MxMxTV beat up Garland and posed, triple like.

Garland (who is the son of Scotty 2 Hotty, BTW), found himself hoisted up by Madden. Oro and Fashion tried to help, but the massive Madden hit a triple slam on all three. They rolled outside and TV dove through the ropes to take out the field.

Back in the ring, TV whiffed on a kick letting Garland hit a facebuster and then (sigh) do the worm. Before he could land it though, Madden kicked his head off. TV, Madden and Mansoor delivered a triple “Glossy” Centerfold to Garland and that was it. MxMxTV get the win.

Match Result: MxMxTV defeated Main Man Oro, Keagan Garland and Angel Fashion

Next up, Caprice Coleman sat down to “chop it up” with ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty. Coleman asked Moriarty how he feels he fits into the Shane Taylor Promotions vibe. Moriarty said that he is the best Pure wrestler on the planet and he understands why STP are so aggressive, even when he doesn’t agree with them.

Coleman asked if Moriarty felt like he needed to break away from STP and Moriarty said no. He has been finding himself over the last couple of years and has found success with STP, so even if they disagree, he’s going to stick with the team and Taylor, who he called his “coach.”

Coleman then asked Moriarty about his art work. Moriarty said that he has been drawing since he was a kid, copying and redrawing comics and movie posters. When he became a wrestler, he started painting. After only doing it for a few years, Moriarty has sold paintings for thousands of dollars.

Moriart said that his art has given him a sense of flow and being able to look ahead that he has been able to apply to his Pure wrestling career. He said that art taught him to control his emotions, which is a benefit in the Pure style.

They then said “chop it up” a couple more times and it was over.

Pure Rules Match: Rachael Ellering vs Diamante

Speaking of Pure Rules, here’s a Pure Rules match!

Diamante has a date with ROH Women’s Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo at Supercard of Honor in May, so the tuning up begins here.

The bell rang and clock started and Diamante came out swinging, grabbing a waistlock into a headlock. Ellering flipped it into a wristlock and then threw a shoulder at Diamante. Diamante grabbed her from the mat and put on a fujiwara, forcing Ellering to use her first rope break at 0:55.

Ellering powered up from there hitting a senton for a two count. She hit a back elbow and went for a big boot, but Diamante grabbed her foot and put on an Ankle lock. Ellering grabbed the rope to break the hold at 2:01.

Diamanted clubbed and stomped Ellering, working her leg and ankle. Diamante DDT’d Ellering’s foot and dropped a few elbows for good measure. Ellering caught her in a waist lock, but Diamante went right back to the ankle lock. Ellering got to the ropes to use her final rope break at 3:47.

Diamante didn’t let up, throwing jabs until Ellering exploded with a clothesline followed by a gutwrench suplex. Ellering’s leg kept her moving slowly and Diamante caught her with a double stomp from the top turnbuckle.

Diamante locked on another ankle lock and Ellering, out of rope breaks, was forced to tap.

Match Result: Diamante defeated Rachael Ellering

After the match, Diamante put Ellering in a fujiwara just to drove the point home.

The Frat House (Jacked Jameson, Preston Vance, Griff Garrison and Cole Karter) vs The Colons (Orlando and Eddie) and Spanish Announce Project (Angelico and Serpentico)

Orlando and Garrison kicked things off with a speedy exchange. Eddie made a blind tag and the Colons hit a double flapjack on Garrison. Karter tagged in and the Colons did the same thing, this time going for a cover, which Karter kicked out of.

Angelico tagged in and used the power of lanky to hold Karter while Serpentico joined him for a double team. Serpentic charged Karter in the corner with a running uppercut, but Vance made a blind tag off the ropes.

Vance fell victim to a flying body scissor, but blocked a casadora, transitioning into a suplex. Serpentico ended up isolated in the Frat corner as all four tagged in and out throwing boots and elbows at him in the corner. Jameson (still wearing his baseball cap) ended up legal and hit a lungblower on Serpentico.

Jameson hit a DDT and then a knee to the back of Serpentico’s head. Jameson went off the top turnbuckle for a senton, but Serpentico rolled out of the way. The impact dislodged the hat from Jameson’s head.

Vance tagged in and hit a powerslam on Serpentico, who responded with a thrust kick and then some sliced bread. Vance made a tag to Garrison, and Angelico got one from Serpentico. Karter tried to help, but Angelico took both of them out with clotheslines.

Angelico hit a back suplex on Garrison and went for the cover, but the whole Frat house broke it up. That caused a brawl on the outside that sent Orlando into a barricade.

In the ring, Garrison hit a torture rack powerbomb, but Angelico wouldn’t go down. Jameson tagged in as the Colons cleaned house on the outside.

Serpentico locked a stretch on Karter and Angelico grapevined Jameson’s leg and Jameson, true to form, instantly tapped out.

Match Result: The Colons and Spanish Announce Project defeated The Frat House

Hyan vs Billie Starkz

Starkz began with the head games right off the top, approaching Hyan almost timidly. She invited Hyan to lock up, but then held her hand up too high for Hyan to reach. She grabbed a wristlock and then bit the hand of Hyan.

Hyan went around back with a waistlock, pulling Starkz to the mat in a body scissor. She rolled Starkz around the ring and then put on a tight headlock. Starkz stomped Hyan’s foot to break the hold, sending Hyan into the corner.

Hyan exploded out with a Thez press and then went for a suplex, but Starkz countered with a hair-assisted reverse bulldog. Hyan threw some punches, sending Starkz out of the ring. Hyan went to dive onto her, but Starkz caught her and DDT’d her on the ring apron (the starkz-iest part of the ring!)

Starkz then threw Hyan into the barricade and ringpost before tossing her back into the ring. Starkz threw some heavy forearms in the corner and a back elbow to knock Hyan down. She started in with kicks, but then Hyan reversed a buckle bomb into a pump kick.

Hyan hit a back suplex, but Starkz kicked out of the cover. Hyan set Starkz up in the corner, but off the charge, Starkz rolled her up for two. Starkz went up top, but took too long and Hyan joined her up there. She laid Starkz out with a superplex and falcon arrow, but Starkz got her foot on the ropes during the cover.

Hyan went for a half nelson, but Starkz powered out of it. They traded superkicks but Hyan got caught off the ropes in a buckle bomb from Starkz. She went up top and hit the swanton, but pulled Hyan up at two on the cover.

Starkz instead went for a pile driver to make her point and made the cover to get the win.

Match Result: Billie Starkz defeated Hyan

Tornado Tag Match: The Swirl (Lee Johnson and Blake Christian) vs Adam Priest and Tommy Billington

So for those not in the know, a “Tornado” tag match means that everyone’s in the ring at the same time and there’s no need for tags.

Billington and Priest ran into the ring and jumped Johnson and Christian before they could even get their robes off. There were many a chop thrown and Johnson stayed on his back on the outside. Billington and Priest double backdropped Christian in the ring.

Johnson rolled in just in time to get DDT’ed by Billington. Priest joined him and they traded of kicking Johnson in the gut. Johnson managed to whip Priest to the outside, then throw a huge lariat to take out Billington.

That allowed Johnson and Christian to double team Priest on the outside with springboard blockbusters and good ol’ fashioned kicks to the gut.

Back in the ring, they turned their attention to Billington, going for a choke in the corner. They double suplexed him and Christian put Billington into a tree of woe. Before anything could happen though, Priest rejoined the match. He couldn’t get much done though as he got taken out by Johnson.

Christian and Priest moved to the outside, while Johnson kept Billington down. Christian came back in and they kicked and stomped Billingtonin the corner. Christian then went under the ring and grabbed a chair (no DQ I guess in the Tornado).

Johnson whipped Billington and Christian hit him in the face with the chair as he crossed the ring. Somehow, Billington managed to kick out of the cover though.

Billington started fighting back with a double dropkick off the top rope followed byt a couple of scoop slams. Billington went for a piledriver on Johnson with Priest adding the spike, but Johnson kicked out of the cover.

All four were in the ring and in the confusion, Christian hit Johnson with a spinning kick by accident. Priest and Billington took advantage, with Priest focusing on Johnson. Johnson caught him with a snap mare, but Priest countered with a DDT.

Priest went up top, but Christian cut him off. Billington joined them on the turnbuckle and Christian hit a C4 from the top on Priest. Johnson and Billington got caught in the crossfire and all four were left laying.

They all got to their feet and started rotating chops. Christian hit a superkick on Billington and then Johnson hit a pump knee on Priest. Priest came back with a flying headbutt, buy Johnson got the chair in between them and Priest knocked himself cold. Johnson made a cover and The Swirl/Twist got the voctory.

Match Result: The Swirl defeated Adam Priest and Tommy Billington

Women’s Survival of the Fittest competitors finalized for ROH Supercard of Honor

Ring of Honor Women’s World Champion Athena now knows the full field for next month’s Survival of the Fittest title defense as part of ROH Supercard of Honor.

Her opponents on the Friday, May 15 streaming special will be Billie Starkz, Maya World, CMLL’s Persephone, Trish Adora, and Yuka Sakazaki — all of whom are gunning for their first ROH Women’s World title.

In qualifiers that aired Friday on ROH TV, Starkz defeated Lacey Lane, Sakazaki defeated Viva Van, Adora defeated Hyan, Persephone defeated Isla Dawn, and World defeated Robyn Renegade.

They will all be looking to dethrone the “forever champion” in Athena who has held her title for more than 1200 days.

ROH TV live results: Survival of the Fittest qualifying matches begin

Ring of Honor presents an episode on HonorClub tonight.

The ROH Pure Championship will be on the line as Lee Moriarty defends against Marshall Von Erich.

In a Survival of the Fittest qualifying match, Yuka Sakazaki will face Viva Van. Billie Starkz will take on Lacey Lane in another qualifier. Robyn Renegade will wrestle Maya World in another qualifying match. Persephone will face Isla Dawn in a qualifier, and Hyan will take on Trish Adora in another Survival of the Fittest qualifier.

ROH Women’s World Champion Athena will be in action against Zayda Steel in a Proving Ground match.

In trios action, the Lethal Twist team of Jay Lethal, Lee Johnson, and Blake Christian will wrestle QT Marshall, Aaron Solo, and Nick Comoroto.

DDT’s Daisuke Sasaki will return to Ring of Honor to face AR Fox.

ROH World TV Champion Nick Wayne will put his title on the line against Evil Uno.

Ian Riccaboni Caprice Coleman welcomed us to the show and we head straight to the ring for the first Survival of the Fittest Qualifier.

Survival of the Fittest Qualifier: Billie Starkz vs Lacey Lane

Athena walked out with Starkz but went to the back before the match started.

Winner heads to Supercard of Honor on May 15. Lane dove off the ring apron onto Starkz on the outside and took early control of the match.

Starkz hit a draping DDT on the ring apron and that put her on offense for a bit. Starkz played into the crowd getting on her and chanting for Lacey.

Starkz hit a series of tosses while holding onto the hair. She then missed a top rope senton to allow Lane to get back into it. She hit a super kick to a seated Starkz for a two count.

Starkz went down on an Irish whip and grabbed her leg, but you know, she’s faked a few injuries in her time. And it was a faked injury again this time. She hit a suplex on Lane and then a Senton after the faked injury and got a two count, which Lane countered into a pinning combination for a two.

Lane then hit a big boot and a springboard twisting elbow for a two count. Lane hit a suplex for another two count. She hit a variation of a flatliner for a near fall next. Starkz raked the eyes and got back into it. They exchanged pinning combos, strikes, and then Starkz hit a neutralizer and got the three count.

Match Result: Billie Starkz defeated Lacey Lane

Survival of the Fittest Qualifier: Yuka Sakazaki vs Viva Van

Viva hit a series of shoulder tackles to get the early advantage. Yuka then hit a dropkick that sent her opponent to the outside, and she followed that up by diving off the top rope onto Van.

Van hit a dragonscrew leg whip when they got back in the ring, then locked Yuka into a stretch muffler. Not long later she put Yuka in a high angle Boston Crab but Yuka got to the ropes.

Yuka made a comeback and hit a clothesline for a two count. Viva reversed a slam and hit a spinning heel kick moments later for a two count. She hit what I will call a somersault heel kick for another two count.

Yuka hit a series of strikes, Shit a spinning hammerlock slam and then put Viva in position and hit the Magic Girl Splash for the win.

Match Result: Yuka Sakazaki defeated Viva Van

ROH Pure Championship: Lee Moriarty vs Marshall Von Erich

Both wrestlers used their first rope break within the first minute and a half of the bout. Von Erich took early control after Moriarty was forced to the ropes when he locked in the Iron Claw. 

Moriarty fought back and started working on Von Erich’s arm. He did a finger breaking spot after putting him in an arm bar. Commentary brought up that Moriarty was working the fingers on the hand Von Erich uses for the Claw. Von Erich forced to use his second rope break shortly after.

Von Erich made a comeback with some Fritz Von Erich style forearms and a clothesline in the corner. Later he hit a cannonball in the corner for a two count.

Moriarty hit a back suplex for a two count, then locked into the border city stretch on the right side (the side of his claw hand) after Von Erich kicked out, forcing Von Erich to use his final rope break.

Von Erich went for the Claw while Moriarty was on the apron, but Moriarty locked him in a triangle in the ropes. Since Von Erich had no rope breaks, the hold wasn’t broken. Von Erich went unconscious and Moriarty declared the winner.

Match Result: Lee Moriarty defeated Marshall Von Erich

-Backstage, Josh Woods said it’s too easy and he’s bored. He decided to issue an open challenge to any Pure wrestler around the world. He also said that when he wins his open challenge match at Supercard of Honor, he wants a shot at the Pure title.

Survival of the Fittest Qualifier: Trish Adora vs Hyan

Adora hit a big shoulder tackle after a bit of a tentative start. Hyan hit a dropkick that sent Adora to the outside shortly after. Hyan then hit a high cross body to the outside.

Hyan was on the top turnbuckle and Adora hit her with a big chop, sending her spilling to the outside. Christyan XO attacked Hyan on the outside while the ref was distracted. Adora then took control, locking her opponent up in a stretch while almost doing the splits.

Adora wrapped her in another stretch, then later in a neck crank. Hyan made a comeback with a pair of clotheslines and a big boot. She hit a Saito suplex for a two count. Hyan then hit a spear for a two count.

Adora fought out of a Gory bomb. She hit a high release German shortly after and then the Lariat Tubman for the win. The Infantry and XO joined her in the ring to celebrate after.

Match Result: Trish Adora defeated Hyan

Survival Of The Fittest Qualifying Match: Persephone vs Isla Dawn

Persephone is undefeated in ROH in 2026 and still the CMLL Women’s World Champion, so joining Survival of the Fittest would be a big feather in her cap. Dawn beating her would also be a feather, but in her cap. 

They locked up off the top with Dawn sending Persephone off the ropes. Persephone powered over Dawn and sent her to the mat. Dawn fought back with some slaps and they reset. 

Persephone dodged a couple of lockups and pie-faced Dawn to add insult. They tied up in a test of strength which was won by Persephone. Dawn tried to pick up the pace, but Persephone kept control and took her down with a headscissor. 

Dawn popped back up, but Persephone threw her over in a fireman’s carry and then tried to send her to the corner. Dawn countered it and charged at her, but Persephone dodged it. Dawn threw a back elbow, but Persephone countered with a dropkick. 

Dawn hit a lungblower and then stomped Persephone, working the leg. Dawn threw her out of the corner with a suplex, but only got a two count. Dawn landed a facebuster and then a big knee to Persephone’s head, but only got another two count. 

Dawn put on a headlock, but Persephone punched her way out of it. Dawn went for a back suplex, but Persephone blocked it. Dawn set her up in a cobra clutch, but Persephone got out of it and rolled her up for two. 

Dawn knocked Persephone over with a shot, but Persephone countered with a fallaway slam. She chopped Dawn and dodged a high kick before delivering a spear. Persephone went up top and went for a moonsault, but Dawn had moved. She nailed Persephone with a spin kick and then locked in a sleeper. Persephone got to the ropes to break the hold and locked in a dragon sleeper of her own. 

Persephone used it to pin Dawn and advance to the Survival of the Fittest match. 

Match Result: Persephone defeated Isla Dawn

-Next, Caprice Coleman interviewed ROH Television Champion Nick Wayne (and Mother Wayne). He asked Wayne about the upcoming Best of Super Juniors. Wayne said that he’s going in to win the whole thing this year. Wayne said that he’s looking forward to taking on last year’s winner Kosei Fujita. 

Coleman brought up the ROH TV title (how novel) and asked Wayne how he plans to hold out in a tournament setting instead of match-to-match. Mother Wayne interrupted and said that Nick was up for it. Kip Sabian was also there.

ROH World Television Title Match: Nick Wayne (w/Kip Sabian & Mother Wayne) (c) vs Evil Uno

Wayne played games with Uno off the top, but when the bell rang, Uno overpowered him into the corner. They traded slams and whips around the ring until Wayne bailed to get some reassurance from his mom. Uno paced impatiently in the ring.

Wayne took his time getting back in, which meant Uno had time to get out and run around the other side of the ring to catch him off guard with a big shove into the ring apron. Uno chopped Wayne against the barricade and Wayne excaped back into the ring.

Uno followed him to the corner and started throwing forearms. He set Wayne up on the turnbuckle and went for a superplex, but Wayne blocked it and twisted his arm around his back before dropping down and bouncing Uno’s head off the turnbuckle.

Wayne hit a double stomp for a two count and then worked Uno over in the corner. He began focusing on Uno’s arm to try and take away his strength. Wayne got cocky though as he does and Uno powered up and chopped him off his feet.

Wayne came back with some knees to Uno’s arm, then twisted it around in a wristlock. Uno countered with a neckbreaker, but the damage to his arm seemed to be done. He splashed Wayne in the corner, but couldn’t get him up for a suplex. He did plant Wayne with a DDT, but Wayne kicked out at two. Then Uno dropped him with a piledriver, but again, Wayne kicked out at two.

Wayne managed to work Uno into a kimura lock, twisting his arm while Uno screamed in pain. Uno managed to get a foot on the ropes to break the hold, but Wayne was right back to it. Uno threw him through the ropes then went for a dive, but Wayne was right back in.

Uno hit a shoulderbreaker, sending Wayne staggering. Uno charged, but Wayne nailed him with a spinning kick and made the pin to retain the TV title.

Match Result: Nick Wayne defeated Evil Uno

After the match, Wayne crowed more about winning the Super Juniors.

AR Fox vs Daisuke Sasaki

Fox arrived early for his match and stared down Wayne on the entrance ramp. Sasaki came out on time and there was no one for him to stare down. Sad.

Fox and Sasaki traded moves off the top with neither one getting a clear advantage. Eventually Fox sent Sasaki into the corner and nailed him with a big clothesline. He charged at Sasaki, who dodged and Fox ended up eating a turnbuckle.

Sasaki began working Fox’s knee, trying to take away his high flying. He took Fox down with a chop block and then wrapped his legs in the ropes for some kicks. Sasaki put on a leg lock, twisting Fox’s knee until Fox was able to grab the ropes.

Sasaki hit a heel kick to Fox’s hamstring and then started toying with him, playing to the crowd. That let Fox get a jawbreaker in and then a big boot. He rolled through a blockbuster and hit an anarchist’s suplex, twisting Sasaki in mid air.

Fox whiffed on a couple of kicks but connected with a cutter. Sasaki tried to send him to the corner, but got another cutter for his trouble. Fox dragged Sasaki into position for a 450, but Sasaki moved out of the way and kicked his knee out from under him.

Sasaki came off the top with a clothesline and then at DDT. He locked a crossface on Fox who was nowhere near a rope. A screaming Fox dragged them both by his fingernails until his foot found a rope to break the hold.

Sasaki hit a scoop slam then went up top to drop an elbow. However, Fox got his knees up and hit another cutter. Sasaki crawled out of the ring to recover and Fox dove onto him over the top rope. Fox threw him back into the ring and drove him headfirts into the mat with a destroyer. Fox made the pin to get the win.

Match Result: AR Fox defeated Daisuke Sasaki

Nigel McGuinnes appeared on screen to challenge Josh Woods, saying he needs to beat him before he can beat Lee Moriarty for the Pure Title. McGuiness said that if beats Woods at Supercard, he wants one last shot at the Pure title.

Then it was aannounced that Blake Christian vs Bandido for the ROH World Title will also happen at Supercard.

The Lethal Twist (Blake Christian, Jay Lethal & Lee Johnson) vs Aaron Solo, Nick Comoroto & QT Marshall

The Lethal Twist jumped their opponents off the top, with Comoroto and Lethal fighting in the ring while Johnson and Christian took out Marshall and Solo on the outside. Comoroto over powered Lethal and Marshall and Solo came in for a triple team.

Solo and Lethal battled in the ring until A dropkick sent Lethal careening into Christian, knocking him off the apron. Johnson came in and threw some shoulders into Solo’s gut. Christian and Johnson jumped in and out, with one causing the distraction and the other taking pot shots at solo.

Lethal tagged in to strut and throw some chops. He worked the leg of Solo and blew a kiss to Marshall in the corner. Awwwww.

Christian tagged in to take over dismantling Solo. Johnson contributed a few stomps after a tag. He suplexed Solo and then made a cocky cover for a two count. Lethal tagged in and slammed Solo, then threw a shoulder at Marshall knocking him off the apron.

Solo tried to make a tag, but got cut off. Lethal and Johnson both got crotched on the top rope though, which allowed Solo to make a tag to Marshall who cleared the ring. Marshall tried to finish off Christian with a springboard slam, but Lethal broke it up.

Marshall hit a flatliner on Lethal, while Christian took out Solo. Comoroto got invloved, pressing Christian but Lethal made the save, sending Comoroto to the outside. Johnson and Christian took care of Solo and Marshall in the ring.

The Lethal Swirl triple teamed Comoroto in the ring, but the big man fought back. Johnson put Comoroto onto his shoulders and Christian hit a stomp into a Spiccoli driver. Johnson made the pin and the Twist/Swirl got the win.

Survival Of The Fittest Qualifying Match: Maya World vs Robyn Renegade

World actually came close to dethroning Athena a few weeks ago. She has a chance at a second bite at the apple if she can get past Renegade.

Off of the opening lock up, Renegade tossed World aside and then did some push ups. World grabbed a wristlock then did some push ups of her own. That let Renegade sneak in a big boot to the face. They traded chops with Renegade coming out on top.

World brought Renegade down with a head scissor and then a drop kick for a two count. She got another two count off of a suplex and then hammered Renegade with elbows in the corner. Renegade countered with a drop kick of her own, sending World reeling.

World came back with a suplex, dropping Renegade on her noggin. World went for a roll through doible stomp, but Renegade countered and World seemed to roll her ankles. Renegade then stomped World’s head onto the ring apron (the worldliest part of the ring!).

Renegade went for a moonsault, but slipped and that gave World a chance to get a double stomp and then a shining wizard. She made the pin and picked up the victory to advance to Supercard of Honor in the Survival of The Fittest match.

Match Result: Maya World defeated Robyn Renegade

ROH Women’s World Title Proving Ground Match: Athena [c] vs Zayda Steel (w/Christopher Daniels)

Steel is 2-8 in ROH, so it makes perfect sense that she would get this Proving Ground match. The field of challengers for Athena’s ROH Women’s World Title has now been set, so she’s probably in a great mood for this match.

Athena took control off the top, taking Steel down with a headlock. Steel fought back, but Athena trapped her in a head scissor. They broke, and Steel slapped Athena which sent her into a rage. She hit a front facelock with a bulldog choke to assert her dominance over Steel.

Steel came off the ropes with a casadora and then a headscissor takedown on Athena. She hit a snapmare then a dropkick to get a one count. Athena hoisted her up on her shoulders, but Steel countered and sent her to the outside. She tried a baseball slide, but Athena caught her and threw her in a suplex on the outside.

Back in the ring, Athena clubbed Steel to the mat and then threw elbows in the corner. Athena then fish hooked Steel, but Steel threw some back elbows as the five minute mark passed. Athena locked Steel in an abdominal stretch, but Steel elbowed her way out.

Steel hit a Thez Press and then a neck breaker to put Athena back on her heels. Steel went up top, but Athena rolled out. Steel changed angles and hit a crossbody onto Athena on the outside from the top rope.

She hit a spinning heel kick back in the ring, but Athena went to the ropes to prevent the pin. Athena dodged a kick and then delivered a running senton for a two count. Athena went up top but Steel cut her off with an avalanche Hurricanrana followed by a tornado DDT.

Athena then caught her in a gutwrench slam and locked in the koki clutch. Steel tapped and Athena held the lock on until she passed out, much to the the chagrin of Daniels.

Match Result: Athena defeated Zayda Steel

ROH TV live results: Rascalz vs. Workhorsemen, IInspiration in action

Ring of Honor presents a new episode on Honor Club tonight with a new start time of 8 p.m. Eastern.

Lio Rush and his new Blackheart character will be in singles action against Nathan Cruz.

Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz will take on The Workhorsemen’s JD Drake and Anthony Henry.

Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay of The IInspiration will be back in Ring of Honor tonight as they wrestle Frankie B and Viva Van in tag team action.

There will be an eight-man tag team match featuring Shane Taylor Promotions against Ace Austin, Juice Robinson, and The Von Erichs.

Also scheduled for the show is Action Andretti versus AR Fox.

Roppongi Vice is back together as Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta wrestle TMDK.

Matches for this week’s episode were taped across multiple ROH TV tapings held at WJCT Studios in Jacksonville, Florida.

And here we go! New time slot, new studio, same great Ring of Honor taste that you’ve come to know and love.

And it started off with Eddie Kingston and Ortiz being interviewed. Ortiz said they want to mix it up with youn talent, just as the young talent known as Busta and The Brain wandered by. So they all agreed to fight.

RPG VICE (Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta) vs TMDK (Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste)

Apparently this is the first time TMDK and RPG VICE have crossed paths, which makes sense since neither team uses the others letters.

Haste and Romero started things off with some locking up and trash talking. Haste seemed to really enjoy making fun of Romero’s height, which earned him a knee to the gut. Haste responded with a shoulder tackle and Romero went to escape by tagging in Beretta, but Beretta made him “tag him in proper.”

Nichols tagged in and the two double teamed Beretta with some stereo sentons. Nichols got Beretta up in a staaaaaaaallllling suplex, but Romero broke up the cover after the fact. Romero sent Haste to the outisde and hit a running knee off the aprion while Nichols started chopping Beretta in the ring.

Beretta countered with some chops of his own before tagging in Romero, isolating Nichols in their corner. Nichols bailed from the ring and Beretta sent him into the barricade. The ref tried to get Haste to tag in (I guess he didn’t realize Nichols was legal) while Romero took a turn sending Nichols into the barricade.

Nichols fought back, sending Romero into the barricade before getting back into the ring. Beretta and Romero double teamed him, preventing him from tagging in Haste. Romero threw some one-, two- and three-ever lariats, but Nichols countered the last one and sent him reeling.

Nichols finally got the tag and Haste came into take out Beretta and Romero, stacking them in the corner for a cannonball. Beretta came back with a Mongolian thrust and went for a DDT, but Haste countered it into a tossing Falcon Arrow.

Hast hoisted Beretta up, but Beretta raked his eyes and drove him to the canvas. Romero tagged in and threw hands at Haste, but that got him close enough for a lariat and a two count.

TMDK double teamed Romero and Beretta , but Beretta came back with a superkick. Nichols dropped him with a blue thunder bomb, but of course that didn’t lead to a pin. That would be silly.

Beretta took on both members of TDMK, but Romero broke up the double team slam attempt. Nichols came back with some chops on them both, but RPG landed their finisher on him and got the pin and the victory.

Match Result: RPG VICE defeated TMDK

Lio Rush vs Nathan Cruz

Rush arrived with a new, dark and weird intro that caused my 8-year old to exclaim “why’s he so creepy?” Good question, Lio. What gives?

The Code of Honor was adhered to and Rush immediately dropped to his knees and crawled around the ring like a goth Mr. Iguana.

They locked up and Cruz drove Rush to the mat, but Rush bridged out of a pin attempt. Rush used his speed to run circles around Cruz before slapping on a sleeper hold. Cruz backed him into the corner to break it, but Rush dragged him back down to the mat, presumeably whispering “we all float down here.”

Rush then staked Cruz, backing him into the corner. Cruz turned it around, kicking Rush in the gut until he rolled out of the ring, giggling. Cruz followed and tossed Rush against the barricades before sending him back into the ring. Cruz wrapped Rush in the ropes and punched him in the gut.

Cruz hoisted Rush up, but Rush countered and sent him out of the ring with a modified rolling heel. He then scampered around the ring like an animal before diving through the ropes onto Cruz.

Back in the ring, Rush hit a screaming Thez press for a two count. Cruz came back with a sit out slam and called Rush a “filthy little baby.” Rush responded with a cutter then went up top for a frog splash fro halfway across the ring. He made the pin and that was it.

Match Result: Lio Rush defeated Nathan Cruz

After the match, Rush crawled around the ring like an animal giggling which was in no way unsettling.

-Backstage, ROH Women’s Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo was interviewed. Purrazzo addressed Diamante, saying if she wanted a shot at the title, all she had to do was ask. Purrazzo intends to walk into Supercard of Honor as champion and said that if she doesn’t get her respect, she will beat it into Diamante. Then the match was made official for Supercard of Honor, Diamante vs Purrazzo for the ROH Women’s Pure Title.

Pure Rules Match: Josh Woods vs Matt Menard

They started off with a tie up, with Menard clearly trying to work a plan. He forced Woods to the ropes then slapped a hold on him while he was touching them, costing him Woods arope break just 0:37 into the match. Menard then did it again, forcing Woods to the ropes and using a break at 1:15.

Menard then put Woods in a Boston Crab right next to the roipes and Woods used his final break at 2:15. That seemed to make him really mad, so he put Menard in an octopus hold, wrenched down and Menard gave up, giving Woods the win.

Match Result: Josh Woods defeated Matt Menard

Komander vs Soleil

Soleil FKA Sidney Akeem FKA Reggie has had some success in this new Lucha persona, but Komander is a former ROH TV Champion, so he’d have his hands full in this match.

Off of a lock up, Komander sent Soleil down with a shoulder block, but he popped back up in a superhero pose. They ran the ropes dodging and weaving until Komander swept the leg for a two count. Soleil rolled out of it and the reset, showing respect.

Soleil hit a pop up kick and then a twisting high crossbody to sent Komander staggering. He charged, but Komander moved and Soleil got him with a kick. He went up top and flew off the turnbuckle with a crossbody for a two count.

Soleil started chopping Komander in the corner, adding in a kick or two for good measure. Soleil hit a skywalker mule kick for a two count, but Komander wasn’t done. Soleil tried to wear Komander down with a chin lock, but Komander got back to his feet and they traded kicks.

Komander hit a shoulder tackle followed by a springboard dropkick. He planted Soleil with a DDT, but could only get a two count. Komander went up top, but Soleil rolled out of the way of the frog splash and countered with a pumphandle shock effect.

Soleil went for another crossbody, but Komander countred with an around the world stretch. Soleil got out of it and came back with a rolling Spicolli driver followed by a meteora. Komander dodged a double stomp and chopped Soleil to his knees.

Soleil got back up and ran the ropes, right into a spinning kick from Komander. Komander landed a poisonrana, but Soleil kicked out at two. Soleil came back with a Mexican destroyer and tried a handspring, but Komander caught him and drove him to the mat for his ropewalk crossbody and then made the pin to get the victory.

Match Result: Komander defeated Soleil

Eight Man Tag Team Match: Bang Bang Gang (Ace Austin & Juice Robinson) & The Von Erichs (Marshall von Erich & Ross von Erich) vs Shane Taylor Promotions (Carlie Bravo, Lee Moriarty, Shane Taylor & Shawn Dean) (w/Christyan XO & Trish Adora)

The Von Erichs haven’t lost a match in 2026 and their partners in the Bang Bang Gang are doing pretty well in their own right. They will be facing the Champions of STP, with Moriarty being the ROH Pure Champion and Taylor and the Infantry holding the ROH Six-Man belts.

Moriarty and Austin started things off with a technical exchange, ending with Moriarty getting his knee into Austin’s neck. Austin came back with an inside arm drag and shoulder tackle. Moriarty tripped him up though and tried to steal one with a rollup. Austin broke free and found himself in an octopus stretch. He pried himself out and counterd with a koji clutch. Moriarty found the ropes to break it up though.

Bravo and Ross tagged in and Bravo mocked the Von Erich family claw. That fired Ross up and he hit a float over fisherman suplex. Marshall grabbed a blind tag and cut off Dean who had come in to help. They double teamed the Infantry, dispatching Dean and working the arm of Bravo.

Robinson tagged in which gave STP a chance to reset and send in Taylor. They locked up and Taylor drove Robinson to the corner for some strikes. Robinson threw some jabs of his own, but missed with a left hand allowing Taylor to land an elbow.

Taylor picked up Robinson and dropped him onto the top turnbuckle face first. He then shoved him into the second rope turnbuckle and unloaded some punches on him. Taylor made a tag and all three members of STP came in to take out their opponents.

In the ring, Bravo danced while Robinson clutched his gut. Everyone returned to their corners and the Infantry double teamed Robinson. Bravo hit a running kick for a one-count and then stomped Robinson’s hands and knees while yelling out towns in Florida.

Bravo tagged in Dean who dropped a leg from the top rope followed by an elbow drop, a clear homage to the Mega Powers. Dean tagged in Taylor who threw forearms at Robinson. Robinson tried to come back, but a headbutt, side slam and splash put an end to it.

Bravo hit a Carlie Crossover on Robinson and then crushed him with a BBC. Taylor tagged back in and scoop slammed Robinson, but Robinson moved out of the way of the leg drop. Moriarty tagged in and put a sleeper on Robinson, who countered with a back body drop and mananged to finally get a tag to Austin.

Austin took down both Infantry members, laying them out for a double guillotine leg drop. Austin fought off all four members of STP and hit a springboard crossbosdy on Dean. He went for a cover, but Taylor broke it up.

Austin and Taylor threw hands until Taylor caught him in a pop up powerbomb. Dean went for a cover, but Marshall broke it up. The Von Erichs hit a double dropkick on Taylor, but Ross fell victim to a Moriarty sling blade. Taylor came back in and knocked out Ross, blocking the claw from Marshall.

Marshall mamanged to scoop slam Taylor, but Bravo caught him with a DDT. Austin somehow became legal and narrowly avoided a Boot camp. Austin hit the Fold on Dean out of nowhere and rolled him up for a pin to get the victory for his team.

Match Result: Bang Bang Gang & The Von Erichs defeated Shane Taylor Promotions

-Backstage, Lexy nair interviewed Alec Price & Jordan Oliver about their upcoming match against Eddie Kingston and Ortiz. They gave the veterans their flowers, but said that they are looking at this as an opportunity to establish themselves. Then Price said “Brain” about six times.

AR Fox vs Action Andretti

Fox was able to use his lankiness to keep ahead of Andretti, countering pretty much everything he threw at him. Fox tried to catch Andretti by surprise with a series of quick pin attempts, but Andretti countered them all with pinning predicaments of his own.

Fox picked up the pace with a twisting suplex and senton, but could only get a two count. He threw a lariat in the corner then a series of elbows, trying to wear Andretti down. Andretti escaped the ring, but Fox followed, sending him into the barricade.

Fox grabbed a chair and set it up, putting Andretti into it and then circled the ring to build up some steam. As Fox turned the corner though, Andretti hit him with a shoulder. Andretti set Fox up in the chair and tried to take a lap of his own, but Fox scrambled across the ring and dove through the ropes at him.

Andretti bounced back and hit Fox with three dives to the outside before sending him back into the ring. Fox crawled to the corner and countered a senton, sending Andretti to the outside and leaping over the top rope onto him.

Back in the ring, Fox went for a cover, but Andretti kicked out while Coleman and Riccaboni talked about their NCAA brackets getting busted.

Andretti hit a very complicated arm drag and then a twisting springboard cross body after some stanky leg dancing. He chopped Fox in the corner, then drove the wind out of him with his shoulder. Andretti threw a spinning elbow, but Fox wouldn’t go down.

Fox slipped out of the ring and Andretti followed with a big kick. Andretti thre Fox back into the ring and stomped on his arm. Fox came back with a spinning kick followed by a missile dropkick. Fox threw a series of kicks and then a cutter, sending Andretti to the corner. He landed another cutter, but Andretti kicked out at two.

Fox whiffed on a 450 and Andretti went for a suplex. Fox countered it, but Andretti caught him with a back elbow. He hit a split-legged moonsault, but Fox kicked out at two. Andretti went for a backbreaker, but Fox got out of it and hit a cutter followed by a package powerbomb for two.

Fox went up top but Andretti met him there and hit a C4. He hit a running shooting star press, but Fox kicked out again. Andretti hoisted him up for a backbreaker again, transitioning into a neckbreaker. He threw some chops and punches and Fox returned in kind.

Andretti went for a springboard, but Fox caught him with a cutter. Fox scrambled up to the top and hit a 450 to put an end to the match.

Match Result: AR Fox defeated Action Andretti

The IInspiration (Cassie Lee & Jessie McKay) vs Frankie B & Viva Van

I’ve been a huge fan of the IInspiration since their IIconic days, so it’s great to see them in ROH.

Van and Lee began the match with Lee offering a very enthusiastic Code of Honor. Off of that, Lee sent Van to the corner where McKay tagged in and gave her a shot. They contriued with quick tags, taking out Frankie as well and having a little pose time.

McKay and Van stayed legal and the IInspiration isolated her and traded shots and quick tags. Lee threw a few roundhouse kicks and then a backstabber on Frankie who had come in to help.

McKay and Lee delivered stereo underhook facebusters before hitting the Idolizer on Frankie and winning the match.

Match Result: The IInspiration defeated Frankie B & Viva Van

After the match, the IInspiration were given mics and they formally introduced themselves to the ROH crowd. They ran down Van and Frankie, discussing how they were the only ladies with balls. Then they posed.

The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz) w/ Myron Reed vs The WorkHorsemen (Anthony Henry & JD Drake)

Henry and Xavier opened the match trading waist and wrist locks. Xavier finally connected with a headscissor, but Henry kicked him in th gut about it. Wentz grabbed a blind tag and the Rascalz double teamed Henry in the corner.

Drake stomped across the ring to help, but the Rascalz took him out with a muta lock/dropkick combo. Henry snuck back in looking for a piledriver, but Xavier countered it with a cutter. Drake kept coming in to try and help Henry, but Xavier sent him out out of the ring. When he followed, Henry hit him with a kick to the face from the apron.

Back in the ring, Drake tagged in and Henry held Xavier while Drake sentoned him over the top rope. Drake took off his shirt and choked Xavier with it for a second, but Xavier fought out of it. Drake chopped him in the corner and then threw Xavier at the mat with a scoop slam.

Drake resorted to biting and cut off Xavier in the corner with Henry. They traded tags, putting the boots to Xavier. Drake tagged in and sent Xavier flying with a belly to belly suplex followed by a cannonball in the corner.

Drake went for a Vader Bomb, but Xavier moved and got a hot tag to Wentz just as Henry tagged in. Drake didn’t leave the ring though and Wentz took him out before a stiff kick to Henry’s head. Wentz hit a blockbuster on Drake then a high springboard kick on Henry for a two count.

Xavier tagged back in and hit a hurricanrana on Drake who was back in the ring for some reason. Wentz dove on Drake on the outside, while Xavier tried to pin Henry, but could only get a two count. Xavier in Wentz went for a double team, but Henry countered it and Drake suplexed Xavier.

Drake hit a shining wizard on Wentz, but Xavier broke up the pin. Drake got taken out with a dropkick, and the Rascalz hit a double team on Henry to get the win.

Match Result: The Rascalz defeated The WorkHorsemen

-Backstage, AR Fox and Action Andretti gave each other props on their match earlier. Andretti said that he’d love to do it again, any time, anywhere. Fox thanked him and they shook hands, but Andretti warned him he wouldn’t get another win on him.

ROH World Television Title Proving Ground Match: Nick Wayne (w/Mother Wayne) [c] vs Alex Reynolds

After some Mother Wayne-themed “crowd” work, the match started and Wayne drove Reynolds into the corner. Reynolds then returned the favor. Reynolds and Wayne then traded blows until Wayne was sent to the outside.

Reynolds followed and threw him back into the ring for a big crossbody. Reynolds threw punch after punch at Wayne, who countered by working his arm to take away the strikes. Reynolds screamed in pain as Wayne worked and wrenched his arm.

He managed a back elbow to create some space and then hit a swinging neckbreaker on Wayne. Reynolds went for a fisherman suplex, but Wayne countered, eating up the clock in the Proving Ground match.

Reynolds threw a lariat and then landed the suplex just as the 5-minute warning sounded. Reynolds went up top, but Wayne moved out of the way. Wayne tried a kick, but Reynolds rolled him up for a two count. He hit a high knee, but Wayne came back with a spinning kick and that was it. Wayne made the pin to dash Reynolds Proving Ground hopes.

Match Result: Nick Wayne defeated Alex Reynolds

Because the show hadn’t been long enough, Ian Riccaboni then interviewed Nick Wayne in the ring. He asked Wayne how it was possible he is this good. Wayne threw him out of the ring saying he only speaks to people with championships.

Wayne then talked about how he’s the future of Ring of Honor, AEW and pro wrestling. He said that all the crowd’s favourites will be retired in a few years, but he’ll still be here and he’ll still be ROH TV Champion.

Eddie Kingston & Ortiz vs Alec Price & Jordan Oliver

No one can decide if Price and Oliver are called “Busta and The Brain” or Oliver and Price, so I’m going with their names because that kinda makes sense.

Price and Kingston kicked off the match with Price running around because he’s “crazy.” Kingston should blocked him whenever he got close. Price landed a shoulder tackle off the ropes and tagged inO Oliver for a double team on Kingston.

Ortiz tagged in and he and Kingston hit a double suplex on Oliver. Oliver took down Ortiz with a drop toe hold and rolled him up for two. Price tagged in and they double teamed Ortiz in the corner. They fought around the ring, giving Kingston a chance for a blind tag when they passed him by.

Kingston put Prince in a camel clutch then sent him to the corner. Ortiz tagged in and stomped him. Ortiz hit a fisherman’s suplex then tagged in Kingston who chopped Price to the mat. He tried a series of covers, but Price kicked out of them all.

Ortiz tagged back in and strutted his way to a falling headbutt. He tagged Kingston back in for a double team and they cut off Price from taggin Oliver. Kingston made a mistake and whipped him off the ropes too close and Oliver grabbed a blind tag.

They double teamed Kingston for a second, but couldn’t get a pin. Price and Ortiz fought in the center of the ring until Oliver took out Ortiz with a running knee. Kingston dropped him with a lariat and went for a cover because I guess Oliver was legal? It got really hard to tell.

Ortiz took on both Oliver and Price, who overpowered him with a the damn numbers game. Oliver went for a high knee, but Ortiz dodged it and Kingston took out Price. They combined for a superbulldog on Oliver and then Oliver countered and sent Kingson into the corner. Price hit an Avalanche hurricanrana on Ortiz and then dove onto Kingston on the outside.

He went back up, but Ortiz moved and rolled him up into a trap to get a crucifix pin and the win to close out the show.

Match Result: Eddie Kingston & Ortiz defeated Alec Price & Jordan Oliver

They chose this moment to announce that qualifying matches for the ROH Women’s World Title Survival of The Fittest match will begin next week.
