Multiple WWE stars added to the AAA Noches de Los Grandes match card

A few matches consisting of multiple WWE superstars have now been added to the AAA Noches de Los Grandes match card.

Last week, after tension escalated between Pagano and Psycho Clown, The War Raiders (Erick & Ivar) appeared on stage and attacked the AAA World Tag Team Champions. However, with it still being unclear who attacked the rest of the clowns, Pagano and Psycho Clown will now team up despite their differences to defend their AAA World Tag Team titles against The War Raiders on May 30, 2026, at AAA Noches de Los Grandes.

Similarly, last week, after La Catalina’s debut win over Jessy Jackson, she was attacked by members of Las Toxicas. However, with the numbers advantage taking over, the debutant was saved by WWE NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice and WWE veteran Bayley. The trio teamed up to fend off the villainous trio of Lady Flammer, Maravilla & La Hiedra.

A week later, on May 16, 2026, episode of AAA on Fox, it was announced that Bayley, Catalina, and Vice will now take on Flammer, Maravilla, & La Hiedra in a six-woman tag-team match at Noches de Los Grandes.

AAA Noches de Los Grandes updated match card

AAA Noches de Los Grandes is set to take place on May 30, 2026, at Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico. Here is the updated match card:

  • El Grande Americano vs. Original El Grande Americano in a mask vs. mask match
  • El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. (c) vs. El Hijo del Vikingo for the AAA Latin American Championship
  • Pagano & Psycho Clown (c) vs. War Raiders (Ivar & Erik) for the AAA World Tag Team Championship
  • Bayley, Lola Vice & La Catalina vs. Las Toxicas (Flammer, Maravilla & La Hiedra)

Erik gives update on Valhalla’s WWE TV return

It shouldn’t be long until Valhalla is back on WWE programming.

On Thanksgiving Day last November, Valhalla (Sarah Rowe) and her husband Erik (Ray Rowe) welcomed their second child into the world. The couple now has two boys with Ezekiel Joseph Rowe joining their son Raymond Cash who was born in 2021.

Valhalla has been away from WWE TV since announcing her pregnancy last year, but Erik told Chris Van Vliet on a new episode of Insight that he thinks she’ll be back soon.

“Absolutely,” Erik responded when asked if Valhalla is thinking about when she wants to come back. “Yeah, she is — she is a constant inspiration for me. She works so hard. She is so dedicated and disciplined. She keeps me on my diet so much better because she’s so disciplined with hers. And she’s already like running, jumping, throwing things, getting back into like battle shape and getting ready. So, yeah, I don’t know when this is going to air, but I’m sure it won’t be too long in the future before you start seeing her again.”

Valhalla, a former Riott Squad member, was released by WWE in 2020 but made her return to the company in 2022. She manages The War Raiders along with competing in the ring.

Erik & Ivar became The War Raiders again last October after previously being known as The Viking Raiders. They had a four-month reign as World Tag Team Champions before dropping the titles to New Day at WrestleMania 41.

During his appearance on Insight, Erik said getting the War Raiders name back is awesome because he and Ivar now get to play a version of their real selves on TV. It’s the closest they’ve ever been to their presentation when they were War Machine in ROH and NJPW.

“As War Raiders, we are the closest thing to War Machine that we’ve ever been. No face paint, we’re not even wearing like horns and helmets and armor,” Erik said. “We’re coming out in essentially biker vests, leather vests. This is what I wear to TV. I just put a vest on, and I cut promos like this on WWE TV. I wear a black T-shirt and jeans, which is what I wear every day of my life. If I’m not in gym clothes, this is what I’m wearing. This is who I am.”

Tag Team title match official for WWE WrestleMania 41

Another new match is officially on the books for WrestleMania 41.

WWE confirmed this afternoon that The War Raiders (Ivar & Erik) will defend their World Tag Team titles against New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) at WrestleMania in Las Vegas. The match was expected to be added to the Mania card after their title bout on Raw earlier this week ended with New Day winning by disqualification. It was made official via a social media announcement from Raw general manager Adam Pearce.

During their match on Raw, Woods introduced a chair into the ring but had it wrestled away from him by Ivar. The referee then called for a DQ after Ivar struck Woods with the chair. New Day launched a post-match steel chair attack on The War Raiders until officials broke things up.

A stipulation for War Raiders vs. New Day has not been announced, but Dave Meltzer reported earlier today that it’s possible one could be added. Meltzer wrote that the bout is expected to be part of the card for night one of WrestleMania.

Ivar & Erik have been World Tag Team Champions since winning the belts from Judgment Day’s Finn Balor & JD McDonagh in December.

As things stand, the matches set for WrestleMania are expected to happen on the following nights:

Ivar ‘dodged a very big bullet’ with 2024 neck injury

Ivar is lucky to still be wrestling following the neck injury that he suffered earlier this year.

The War Raiders (Ivar & Erik) became the new World Tag Team Champions by defeating Finn Balor & JD McDonagh on Raw this Monday. The victory happened just months after Ivar was told that his career was likely over. While appearing on the latest episode of Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Ivar opened up about the neck injury he suffered and what his health is like at the moment.

During a match against Ricochet this April, Ivar felt something wrong after taking a European uppercut. He did a quick system check but felt like he was fine and was able to continue. Ivar was able to keep working a full schedule, but he then lost strength in his arm while facing Oba Femi on the April 30 episode of NXT.

“We got to the second half of that match [against Oba Femi], and I just lost all strength in my right arm,” Ivar said. “I couldn’t pick him up, so I just started calling audibles in the ring where I wasn’t going to pick him up. We made it through the match, and that was that. And the whole time we were checking on medical to see how I was doing. And then after that match was like, ok, that’s no good.”

Ivar and his wife then went on a vacation looking to take a break. On an animal trek, he was unable to hold his arm up. Ivar underwent an MRI immediately. When he got the results, he was told that he would likely have to retire due to a herniated disc.

“They’re like, ‘Ok, this is probably the end of your career.’ To the point where they handed me mental health paperwork to kind of get that rolling,” he said.

After already having double fusion surgery in 2020, another fusion would have probably ended Ivar’s career. It was initially thought that another fusion would be necessary, but that fortunately was not the case. Ivar’s surgeon told him that he could likely rehab the injury without surgery. And if a surgery did end up being needed, it could be done arthroscopically.

“My surgeon had read the result in the MRI, and he pretty much felt the same way that this was it,” Ivar said. “So for five days, I think this is it. It’s over with. I flew too close to the sun and the wings melted and that’s it. But when I saw him in Birmingham five days later, and he actually had the disc for the MRI, and he read the results for the MRI himself, he’s like, ‘Ok, we can work with this.'”

On multiple occasions, the surgeon told Ivar that he “dodged a very big bullet” with this injury.

Van Vliet asked Ivar how he’s feeling now.

“So I’m pretty good,” he responded. “To be fair, I do have permanent nerve damage and nerve pain in my hands. And that will never go away, and that’s something I live with. But as far as everything else, I got most of my mobility back in my neck. It’s a little stiff now because I have another herniation, but I still have very good range of motion. I credit that to yoga pretty much. And then all my strength is returned to my arm, so I have no problems there. So it’s really just the nerve pain right now from the original injury that I have that’s permanent. But I have good days and bad days. Some days I can really feel it, it goes down my arm a little bit, and some days I can’t feel it all. Kind of all depends. But quality of life, I feel pretty good.”

With both now back in the ring after serious neck injuries, this has been a good few months for Ivar & Erik. The former Viking Raiders are now known as The War Raiders again after getting their name back this October. Erik and his wife Valhalla welcomed the birth of their second child — a boy named Ezekiel Joseph Rowe — on Thanksgiving day.

The War Raiders are now two-time Tag Team Champions on the main roster. Their first title reign lasted from October 2019-January 2020.

WWE wrestlers Erik & Valhalla welcome birth of second child

WWE wrestlers Erik (Raymond Rowe) and Valhalla (Sarah Logan/Rowe) had an extra special Thanksgiving this year.

On Thanksgiving day, Valhalla and Erik welcomed their second child into the world. The baby is a boy named Ezekiel Joseph Rowe.

“We have a son. And he’s perfect in every way,” Erik wrote on Instagram. “Ezekiel Joseph Rowe, born 11/28/2024.”

The couple has been married since 2018 and had their first child, another boy named Raymond Cash Rowe, in 2021. They have an interest in farming with Valhalla publishing a children’s book on the subject earlier this year.

Valhalla was released by WWE in 2020 but made her return to the company in 2022. She manages Erik & Ivar as part of the WWE Raw tag team division, with the former Viking Raiders now known as The War Raiders again after getting their old name back this October. Erik underwent neck fusion surgery last year but is now back in action.

Finn Balor & JD McDonagh retained their World Tag Team titles against The War Raiders on Raw this Monday after getting help from Judgment Day interference.

NXT Tag Team title match set for TakeOver: Phoenix

The tag team title match for TakeOver: Phoenix has been set.

General Manager William Regal made the announcement during tonight’s episode of NXT. The War Raiders will get another crack at the Undisputed Era’s Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong.

The War Raiders have been feuding with all of Undisputed Era for the last few months. Back at the September tapings, the duo defeated the champions by DQ. They later squared off inside War Games, where they, Pete Dunne and Ricochet defeated the entire stable.

On tonight’s episode of NXT, the War Raiders made the save for E3 after all of the Undisputed Era jumped following a match against Adam Cole.

The only other matches announced for TakeOver thus far are is the NXT title match between champion Tommaso Ciampa and Aleister Black, as well as Shayna Baszler defending the NXT Women’s championship against Bianca Belair.

NXT TakeOver: Phoenix will take place at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona on January 26, one day prior to the Royal Rumble.

WarGames participants set for NXT TakeOver

Note: This article contains spoilers from tonight’s NXT tapings.

The participants for this year’s WarGames were announced at tonight’s NXT tapings at Full Sail University.

This year’s match will be a 4 vs 4 bout. It will pit the team of Ricochet, Pete Dunne and the War Raiders against the Undisputed Era: Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong. The Undisputed Era have attacked their opponents for weeks now, including interfering during a match between Pete Dunne and Ricochet that was for both the North American and United Kingdom titles.

The match announcement came during the tapings when the Undisputed Era were cutting a promo backstage. The War Raiders interrupted and attacked, destroying the set. It ended up spilling into the back lot of Full Sail where both Ricochet and Pete Dunne eventually joined in. Regal then made the announcement.

Later during the tapings, a match was made to determine who will have the advantage inside WarGames. After a ton of interference between both teams, Kyle O’Reilly defeated Hanson after a belt shot to score the advantage for the Undisputed Era.

NXT TakeOver: WarGames will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on November 17, the day before Survivor Series.
