New Pollstar data reveals WWE WrestleMania 41 ticket revenue

Image: WWE

New reporting has revealed what WWE brought in for their record-breaking ticket revenue for 2025’s WrestleMania 41.

The article from Wrestlenomics/Post Wrestling, using data from live event trade publication Pollstar, showed that last year’s two-night event at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas generated a total of $66,074,558 for WWE.

While there wasn’t a breakdown of each night, Brandon Thurston surmised that even with a 50/50 split, $33 million per night would surpass any wrestling show in history.

Last August, Thurston reported that the Las Vegas Stadium Authority provided documentation showing Saturday’s attendance at 58,538 and Sunday’s at 60,103 for a combined 118,641, more than what Pollstar reported (113,412) which Thurston wrote suggests “the stadium authority’s attendance included more than just tickets sold” in their tally.

The news comes on the heels of last week’s news that this year’s WrestleMania, also taking place at Allegiant Stadium, is running behind last year’s show in terms of ticket sales, leading the company to reportedly discuss some new strategies — one of those being discounted tickets in a limited time sale.

New WWE WrestleMania 41 attendance data revealed

New attendance data for this past April’s WWE WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas has been revealed, leaving potential detractors without much to talk about.

Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston reported on Wednesday that the Las Vegas Stadium Authority provided documentation showing Saturday’s attendance at 58,538 and Sunday’s at 60,103 for a combined 118,641.

Thurston noted that it’s “unclear if these figures reflect tickets distributed or ticket sales, or whether suite attendees are included in the totals.”

The numbers announced by WWE were 60,151 for Saturday (April 19th) and 61,389 for Sunday (April 20th) for a combined 121,540. The respective discrepancies between the LVSA data and WWE’s were 2.3% for Saturday, 2.1% for Sunday, and 2.4% overall.

The Wrestlenomics report also noted that according to LVSA data, 81% of attendees for Saturday came from out of town while Sunday’s mark was 84%. Additionally, the two nights were the most attended in Allegiant Stadium for Q2, beating out concerts by Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, Coldplay, AC/DC, and Shakira.

WrestleMania will return to Las Vegas this April once again.

Bianca Belair reflects on WWE WrestleMania 41: ‘It was just magic’

When Bianca Belair reflects on her instant classic from WrestleMania 41, one of the things that makes the match special is that it was just her, Rhea Ripley, and IYO SKY doing what they do best.

Belair, Ripley, and SKY had one of the best matches of 2025 so far when they opened night two of WrestleMania 41 this April. Their triple threat match stole the show that night, even earning high praise from “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

Appearing on a new episode of Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Belair looked back at the match and how it proved you don’t need to break out new, never-seen-before moves to create magic in the ring.

“It was just magic,” she said. “And what I love most about that match, and I’ve told them this too, is that sometimes when you’re at WrestleMania or planning a match, you think like, it’s WrestleMania, I have to go out there, we have to do this, that, we have to do that, we have to pull out these new moves. If you watch that match, none of us did anything that we don’t normally do.

“And so I think we had the best of both worlds. You had everything that Rhea does, you have everything that I do, you had the high-flying moves that IYO has. We had moments in there, it was emotion in there, and we literally just went out there and did what we did, and that was good enough, and it ended up being great. And I love that because it’s not always about the moves, it’s really about the magic that you create in there and what you make people feel.”

Belair said she’s only watched the match back once, and that was because her husband Montez Ford urged her to.

“I’ve actually only watched the match back once, and it’s only because my husband forced me to watch it. Because lot of times if I have a really good match and it goes well and it goes great, I don’t want to watch it back because I know I’m going to pick it apart,” Belair said. “So I was like, ‘Just give me a few days, let me just live in the moment, and let me just be happy about it.’ I was like, ‘I don’t want to watch.’ He’s like, ‘You have to watch it.’

“So we were sitting at home, he put it on, and I watched it, and I enjoyed it. I didn’t pick it apart, but I’ll probably never watch it again, because it just takes way too much out of me, because I get nervous when I watch it again. I feel all the emotions again. By the end of watching, I just feel so exhausted. So I’m like, okay, one and done, and I’m happy with that.”

SKY retained the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania but dropped the belt earlier this month when Naomi cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase during the main event of Evolution.

Since WrestleMania, Belair has been sidelined since suffering a broken finger in the triple threat. She is still recovering from the injury and doesn’t have a return date set yet.

Rhea Ripley names her new favorite WWE WrestleMania moment

Rhea Ripley has a new favorite WrestleMania moment after sharing the ring with IYO SKY and Bianca Belair in Las Vegas.

On a new episode of Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Ripley said — despite losing — her show-stealing triple threat match against SKY and Belair from WrestleMania 41 is now her favorite Mania moment of her career. Before this, it was WrestleMania 39 against Charlotte Flair after their match three years prior had to take place on a closed set at the WWE Performance Center amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I always said my match with Charlotte, because it’s everything that I wanted my first Mania to be. Because it ended up being the COVID Mania — I didn’t get my family, I didn’t get the crowd, I didn’t get anything that normally goes into a Mania,” Ripley said. “And it was just like, ‘Wow, I’m back at the place that I really didn’t like going to every day, and this is my WrestleMania.’ So to then go and face Charlotte again, but it being in front of a crowd, and I saw my family in the front row, I had like all the adrenaline in the world. Everything was so perfect, and then I beat her for the first time. I won the SmackDown Women’s Championship. That was my WrestleMania moment.

“But now I feel like the match with IYO and Bianca has triumphed that. I am literally so proud of that match. I love those two so much. And going through NXT with them, overcoming things with them, watching them overcome things, and watching them grow as performers. And then me growing as a performer to get to that point where we could go to WrestleMania and have such a stellar match, and have people chanting, ‘This is awesome’ and us being the opener — I couldn’t ask for anything more. I understand I lost, it doesn’t matter at that time. It really didn’t, because that was IYO’s moment, but we all got a moment from it at the same time.”

SKY pinned Belair to win the triple threat, retaining the Women’s World Championship in the process. SKY is still champion and has now held the title for almost four months after winning it from Ripley in March.

This Saturday, Ripley will compete in a street fight against Raquel Rodriguez at WWE Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia.

Las Vegas front runner to host WWE WrestleMania 42

The city of Las Vegas appears to be the front runner to once again host WWE WrestleMania.

In the wake of Thursday’s news that next year’s WrestleMania 42 will not be held in New Orleans, a note in a news article about the move stated that according to an official, WWE’s biggest event of the year is returning to Sin City.

From NOLA.com’s Anthony Mcauley:

After the success of this year’s event, the new leadership running WWE decided that they would rather hold next year’s event in Las Vegas and see what response they get from fans, according to an industry official who wasn’t authorized to be quoted by name.

Our Dave Meltzer is reporting that WrestleMania weekend is looking to be scheduled for Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th, but some logistics with load in/load from a yet-to-be-announced concert need to be ironed out.

The shows were originally slated for Saturday, April 11th and Sunday, April 12th.

Walt Leger of New Orleans & Co. said in the aforementioned article that it was WWE’s decision to pull out for next year and that they have been working with WWE for the last few days on identifying future dates for future events. He noted WWE “might” bring WrestleMania back in a future year.

Through a joint statement, the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and New Orleans & Company did confirm Money in the Bank for 2026 and that they are looking to expand their relationship with TKO that includes a UFC pay-per-view this summer. WWE has yet to make a statement about the change.

WWE held WrestleMania 41 in Allegiant Stadium this past April, announcing afterward that it was their most financially successful shows in company history. The two-night event drew an announced 124,693, but they did not disclose their gate figure. If it was the most successful, it would have had to surpass the nearly $40 million total WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia did for both nights.

Randy Orton details how Joe Hendry was chosen as WWE WrestleMania opponent

In an interview with Billboard, Randy Orton detailed how his WWE WrestleMania 41 match against Joe Hendry came to be.

Orton vs. Kevin Owens was originally scheduled for the event and had even been officially announced by WWE, but plans had to change with Owens having a neck injury requiring surgery. With that grudge match off the books, WWE pivoted to something else entirely with Orton defeating Hendry — the TNA World Champion — in a quick three-minute bout.

This was Orton’s 20th WrestleMania, and he told Billboard that was an important milestone for him. He confirmed that he pushed for Hendry to be his opponent once a replacement was needed. Orton said a couple of people in WWE were unsure about the idea, but he was able to talk them into it.

“It kind of came down to, ‘OK. We need to get Orton an opponent. Who’s it gonna be?’ And there was a very short list of guys on our own roster, but we had some new guys coming in — and it was one of those things where I needed to win, but considering we knew where I was going to be going thinking about Backlash, we needed me to look good coming out of Mania,” Orton said. “It couldn’t be one of our new guys, because when we debut a new talent into the show [we couldn’t] have him start with a loss.

“So we put our heads together and it was actually my idea [for it to be] Joe Hendry. I kept pushing for it, and a couple people were unsure, but I was able to talk everybody into it. I’m really glad that they went with him. It was perfect. It was different from anything else on the card. It was a legitimate surprise, and we were able to keep it a surprise for the most part. We got that really cool, ‘Holy s–t’ moment when his music hit, and it was great. He was great. It was actually a stress-free fun Mania for me, because I didn’t have this crazy 30 minutes balls-to-the-walls match with all this high-risk s–t. I had this cool little segment with Joe, and we didn’t have to do much to have fun out there. So I was really able to enjoy the week and just soak it all up.”

Rusev and Aleister Black were two of the in-house options that WWE had making their returns. Both returned to WWE programming after WrestleMania.

Hendry is proud of the match he had with Orton and thinks it went exactly how it should have gone. A TNA World Championship defense will take place at NXT Battleground on Sunday, May 25 with Hendry putting his title on the line against Trick Williams.

At WWE Backlash this Saturday, Orton will renew his rivalry with John Cena when he challenges Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship. It will likely be their last time ever facing each other with Cena set to retire from the ring in December 2025.

Orton told Billboard that he hopes his hometown crowd in St. Louis brings the energy for this different dynamic of him being the babyface and Cena being the heel.

“Now, it has the potential to be completely opposite of how it used to be, and the pressure is on me as the good guy,” he said. “But I think being in the hometown [of St. Louis], him being the bad guy, it’s just really weird. There’s no way to call it — and I think the match itself will be good, but I think the energy in that arena is going to cause it to be possibly very good. It’s completely up to the energy of that St. Louis crowd. So I’m hoping they’re all ready to go.”

WWE approved for $4.2 million in tax credits for WrestleMania 41 week

Image: WWE

The financial success of WWE WrestleMania 41 continues to increase with the reveal that WWE has been approved for $4.2 million in tax credits for holding the week in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The story was first reported by the Nevada Current on Thursday.

The transferable film tax credits were approved by the Nevada Film Office and the Governor’s Office for Economic Development for last weekend’s WrestleMania in addition to related events like Raw, SmackDown, and NXT shows.

The credits are on top of the $5 million WWE received from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority for bringing their annual mega-event to their city.

From the Currant report who noted the tax credit:

“The $4.2 million in transferable film tax credits represents roughly 12% of the $33.7 million total production budget WWE estimated for two nights of WrestleMania 41 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and three nights of wrestling events at nearby T-Mobile Arena. But $4.2 million is more than half of what the company estimated it would spend on local labor and at local businesses.

“WWE estimated it would pay $2.6 million in wages to Nevada residents and $17 million to out-of-state talent. Both amounts, as well as $5.3 million in in-state spending on things like hotels and catering, were considered qualified expenses for determining the amount of film tax credits the company is eligible to receive.”

The breakdown of the $33.7 million production budget from the public record:

  • $2.4 million for Nevada stagehands
  • $2.7 million for non-resident “below-the-line” labor
  • $17 million for non-resident “above the line” talent (wrestlers, executives, etc.)
  • $5.3 million in Nevada expenditures
  • $8.6 million in non-Nevada expenditures
  • $260,000 for Nevada security workers

While not disclosing how much revenue they brought in, WWE stated this week that it was the most financially successful in company history.

Steve Austin congratulates IYO SKY: That WrestleMania match was ‘killer’

When IYO SKY arrived backstage after her WWE WrestleMania 41 victory, she received praise from “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

WWE uploaded a four-minute video today documenting some of the behind the scenes of WrestleMania 41. Among the footage included was an interaction between SKY and Austin after SKY retained the WWE Women’s Championship over Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match.

“That f*cking match was killer,” Austin said. “That was a f*cking great match, very physical… Congrats.”

“I’m so happy, I’m so honored,” SKY responded. “Thank you very much. Thank you.”

The SKY vs. Belair vs. Ripley triple threat opened the WrestleMania 41 night two card and was a tough act to follow. Though Belair was pinned to end her 4-0 streak of WrestleMania victories, she also spoke highly of SKY backstage following the match before cutting a promo on Ripley.

“I think I broke a finger. My finger’s hurt, my feelings hurt. Nah, I’m so happy right now. That was amazing. Win or lose, it’s WrestleMania. The Mania streak is broken. But you know what, I would prefer it to be IYO out of anybody. One of the greatest wrestlers on the planet. So I can’t be mad at that. Congratulations to IYO. Rhea, still coming for that ass, okay? This ain’t over, because it’s your fault.”

Austin appeared at both nights of WrestleMania in Las Vegas, taking part in the Hall of Fame segment on Saturday and then announcing the attendance on Sunday. His match against Bret Hart from WrestleMania 13 was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on Friday as the winner of the first-ever Immortal Moment Award.

WWE WrestleMania 41 misses Netflix global top ten, Raw April 14 global views up slightly

Image: WWE

Neither night of WWE WrestleMania 41 finished in the top ten on Netflix for the week, which would mean each show did less than 2,700,000 views and likely less than 3,700,000 total viewers outside the United States.

However, while this would figure most viewers for the Saturday show, it may not include Sunday show viewers completely and the Sunday show may make next week’s chart.

The Royal Rumble did crack the top ten, but it did 2,100,000 views as it was an easier week. The Elimination Chamber did not.  For PLE events, the total views do not include the U.S., since the show is on Peacock. For viewership that is listed through Monday, the Saturday Mania was No. 4 for the week in the United Kingdom among English language television shows.

WWE Raw on Netflix viewership for April 14

The 4/14 Raw show, the show before WrestleMania, is listed at 5,600,000 viewer hours and 2,900,000 total views, but once again, to do that would mean almost nobody watched live. The show was shorter than the previous week, but based on people watching both live and not live, that would work out to 2,547,000 viewers and 3,489,000 total viewers with the idea of 1.37 viewers per viewing, which may be a high estimate for streaming.

Lex Luger explains missing WWE WrestleMania Hall of Fame segment

Lex Luger would have liked to appear for the Hall of Fame segment at WrestleMania 41, but he wasn’t able to due to not feeling well.

The WWE Hall of Fame class of 2025 was acknowledged on stage at night one of WrestleMania on Saturday. Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Michelle McCool, Steve Austin & Bret Hart, Tugboat, and the family of John Tenta were all there with only Luger missing. Luger explained on The Ariel Helwani Show today that, the day before his Hall of Fame induction, he suffered a fall at the airport while trying to get into his wheelchair. With that and with the ceremony going late into the night on Friday, Luger was feeling wiped out by the time WrestleMania began.

“The next day, on Saturday, I could hardly get out of bed,” Luger said. “So I just called the guys and they were so cool about it and said, ‘Look, we’d love to have you down there. Let’s see how you feel later today.’ But it was obvious by late afternoon that time that I wasn’t going to be able to get out there.”

Luger did make his scheduled appearance at WrestleCon earlier on Saturday.

When asked if it bums him out that he wasn’t able to appear at WrestleMania, Luger said he’s still basking in his Hall of Fame induction.

“Saturday would have been great, but it was a no-go,” Luger said. “If I could have, I would have.”

Diamond Dallas Page, who has been working with Luger to improve his mobility, helped induct him into the Hall of Fame. Luger was able to stand up from his wheelchair unassisted at Friday night’s ceremony.

The Rock: I made the call to step back from John Cena/Cody Rhodes angle

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson broke his silence as to why he wasn’t part of the build to John Cena and Cody Rhodes’ WWE WrestleMania 41 match and why he didn’t appear at the company’s biggest show of the year.

His answer: it didn’t make sense for the Final Boss.

Speaking on the Pat McAfee Show via video, Johnson said he felt his work was done after the events of March’s Elimination Chamber where Cena turned on Rhodes, seemingly at Rock’s behest.

He said once the turn was made, it was up to Rhodes and Cena to “build and crush” the story over the subsequent six weeks from Elimination Chamber to WrestleMania and that he thought it wasn’t a good idea for his Final Boss character to be involved.

When the plan was then put into place and executed, “I knew then the best thing for the Final Boss — we’ve established this idea with Cody’s soul and can always come back to it — I did feel and made the call that I don’t want to be involved in that. Let the Final Boss step back into the shadows and let all the spotlight go to John. Let it go to Cody. Let’s not make it about John’s soul or Cody’s soul. Let’s let them do what they do,” he said.

He added after Elimination Chamber, he called both men and said the Final Boss’ work was done and they pulled off the greatest angle in wrestling history other than than Hulk Hogan turning heel.

He said he loved the finish of the match, but that he would have “adjusted and finessed” a few things about how they got there. He didn’t expound on what those would be.

He said he could have been involved in the finish and is always open to conversations with TKO and WWE leadership, but questioned if he did that, “where do we go?” He also was cautious about his various other commitments he has and not wanting to overstep.

“Why get involved in that finish when the spotlight should just be on, in my opinion, John, 17, heel champion, what does 2025 look like if this man is saying he’s going to ruin professional wrestling? That to me is the anchoring storyline,” adding they will go back to the soul storyline at some point. He noted Seth Rollins texted him that when it’s time, his soul is for sale.

He admitted he was “surprised” to see Travis Scott come out, but that he loved it, putting over Scott as someone who both loves wrestling and respects it.

“The moment I saw Travis, I knew that immediately amplifies the Final Boss. They (the fans) were waiting,” he said with McAfee joking that he even thought Rock was coming out and was texting with him about it.

Ari Emanuel asked him to be at Elimination Chamber

Johnson revealed that about a month before Elimination Chamber, TKO head Ari Emanuel personally asked for him to appear at the event due to both ticket sales being slow and that Emanuel wanted to make the show from the Rogers Centre in Toronto a must-see event vs. just being seen as a conduit to WrestleMania.

He said he had a phone call with Emanuel, Nick Khan and Paul Levesque about ideas and later came back with the notion that the Final Boss doesn’t want titles or money, but wants your soul and the idea of whether Rhodes would sell his soul to the character. He wanted to know how fans would respond to Rhodes if he did just that and said lots of fans wanted that to happen.

As they got closer to the event, Levesque suggested Cena turn heel which Johnson loved. After Cena agreed, Cena wanted “an anchor” to root his character turn in: the mix of cheers and boos he experienced for the past 25 years.

His concern going into the turn was never about Cena, but his thoughts were about Rhodes and what they had established with the story and “the kind of babyface he is.” He said that if done right, Rhodes has another incredible run as a babyface in him and “an unheard of one as a heel.”

WWE touts WrestleMania 41 as most financially successful event in company history

WWE issued its annual post-WrestleMania press release on Tuesday morning, calling WrestleMania 41 the most financially successful and highest-viewed event in company history.

The two-night event took place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday and Sunday. With WWE announcing a combined attendance of 124,693, this was the largest gate for any WWE show ever. WWE did not disclose the exact gate figure, but the previous record was estimated at nearly $40 million for WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia (combined for both nights).

WrestleMania 41 aired on Peacock in the United States and — for the first time — streamed on Netflix outside of the U.S. WWE says viewership for the show was up 114 percent from the previous record that was set in 2024.

WWE also touted records for merchandise sales, sponsorship revenue, fan convention attendance, and social media views:

  • MERCHANDISE: In partnership with Fanatics, merchandise sales onsite were up more than 45 percent versus the previous all-time event record set by WrestleMania XL in 2024, making WrestleMania 41 the highest-grossing event of all-time. Additionally, ecommerce sales were up 86 percent versus last year’s record.
  • SPONSORSHIP: WrestleMania 41 featured a record 28 total partners and set an all-time event record for revenue.
  • WWE WORLD: WWE World at WrestleMania 41, the five-day interactive fan experience in partnership with Fanatics Events, became the most-attended WWE fan convention of all time with more than 50,000 attendees – a 21 percent increase over last year’s event surrounding WrestleMania XL.
  • SOCIAL: WrestleMania 41 became the most socially viewed WWE event of all-time, generating 1.1 billion social views throughout the weekend. Additionally, WWE’s YouTube channel saw its most-viewed day ever on WrestleMania Sunday.

Following WrestleMania IX in 1993, this was WWE’s second time ever bringing WrestleMania to Las Vegas. New Orleans will host WrestleMania 42 in 2026 with the Superdome getting its third WrestleMania.

CM Punk reflects on WWE WrestleMania 41

WrestleMania 41 was an overwhelming experience for CM Punk.

Punk achieved a lifelong goal on Saturday night by headlining WrestleMania for the first time ever. In the night one main event of WrestleMania 41, Seth Rollins defeated Roman Reigns and Punk in a triple threat match. Paul Heyman betrayed Reigns and Punk to help Rollins get the win.

With WrestleMania weekend now over, Punk wrote an Instagram post overnight thanking everyone who has believed in him and helped him get to this point. He said he’s overwhelmed and unable to come up with the perfect words to describe this experience.

“There’s too many people to thank. I didn’t get here alone. I’ve been lifted up and comforted in bad times by people, family, who have always believed in me,” Punk wrote. “It wasn’t a straight road. I took the long way. Along that way I’ve learned lessons. I’ve been wrong. I’ve been right. I’ve been mean. I’ve been humbled. I’m grateful for all the lumps. The good and the bad. What’s certain is you get back what you put in. Maybe not instantly. Maybe not tomorrow. But never say never. With a full heart and gratitude that goes to 11, I’m overwhelmed and in search of the perfect words to describe my last few days. Thank you. I love you. If it was the last one, it may very well have been the best one.”

The 46-year-old Punk recently told The Ringer that WWE is trying to get him to sign a new five-year contract. Punk said he doesn’t want to wrestle past his expiration date, but his mind has never been sharper and he’s never been more focused.

An angle on last night’s Raw after WrestleMania saw Bron Breakker align with Heyman and Rollins as they stood tall over Punk and Reigns.

This was Punk’s first time competing at WrestleMania since 2013. After returning to WWE in November 2023, he was still involved in WrestleMania 40 last year but could not wrestle at that event due to a torn triceps.

Joe Hendry disagrees WrestleMania loss was a squash, teases WWE ‘megastar’ at TNA Rebellion

Image: WWE

While some fans felt it was wrong for TNA World Champion Joe Hendry to lose the way he did at WWE WrestleMania 41, he certainly doesn’t feel that way.

During an appearance on Busted Open Radio Monday, Hendry was asked about some of the online criticism for his defeat to Randy Orton after he answered Orton’s open challenge due to Kevin Owens’ untimely neck injury.

Hendry said “I disagree” with the negative notion, saying the offense was back and forth and to him, a squash would have been the bell ringing, him taking an RKO, and that being it.

“My job as TNA Champion and what defines this reign is business and getting as many eyeballs on TNA Wrestling as possible,” Hendry said, adding that John Cena once lost at WrestleMania in similar fashion.

“To me, that’s exactly as it should have gone,” Hendry said, noting that both John Cena and CM Punk said the same to him afterward and he felt going longer would have been detrimental.

“There’s no shame in taking the RKO and losing to a legend like Randy Orton,” Hendry said, noting earlier in the interview that he was “chill” the entire day until seeing the video package before the match.

Hendry declined to reveal when he got the call to be in the match, only saying it was difficult to keep it to himself. He later joked he didn’t eat much “for a week” and that he was in full disguise getting into Allegiant Stadium, given his unique t-shirt and WrestleMania 41 boot patch while hidden in a room.

WWE “megastar” appearing at TNA Rebellion?

While there is nothing new with WWE NXT wrestlers appearing on TNA TV and vice versa, a WWE main roster talent appearing in TNA as part of the partnership would be.

Hendry will defend the TNA title this Sunday at Rebellion against Frankie Kazarian and NXT’s Ethan Page in a triple threat — a pay-per-view that may also feature what Hendry says is a “WWE megastar.”

“We don’t need to reveal who it is, but I know (Tommy Dreamer) knows who I’m going to be speaking about here because this person told me that you guys had a conversation. You said you wonder who might show up at Rebellion. One of the WWE megastars, who has a tour bus, told me they wanted to show up to Rebellion with their tour bus,” said Hendry. “We’ve got WWE megastars who want to get involved.”
