This story has been updated from its original run date of March 27.
The AEW and Triller era has come to an end.
After taking away the ability to sign up for the AEW Plus subscription service on March 27, Triller made it official on Tuesday, sending an email to current and past AEW PPV purchasers:
“We’re writing to let you know that AEW Plus is being discontinued. AEW and ROH PPVs are also no longer available for purchase on TrillerTV.
If you have an active AEW Plus subscription, it will end on your next billing date. You’ll have full access until that date.
Any PPVs you have previously purchased will remain available to watch in your account.”
Triller and AEW had been partners since 2019. The service gave international viewers the ability to watch weekly Dynamite & Collision episodes and archive AEW content in addition to a discount on AEW pay-per-views — all for a monthly fee.
Triller has been under financial duress for some time, perhaps portending AEW’s apparent exit and decision to launch MyAEW.com in March with a partner. In new SEC filings released earlier this year, Triller reported that AEW accounted for approximately 19% of their consolidated revenue in 2023 ($10.3 million) and then 24% in 2024 ($6.6 million). 2025 filings have not been released.
Dave Meltzer has looked at the latest numbers revealed by Triller in new 2023 and 2024 financials released Monday, and what they explain (or attempt to explain) about AEW’s international business.
The ongoing financial tribulations of Triller have provided some insights into the importance of AEW to their past business.
Triller was delisted by Nasdaq at the end of 2025 due to not providing two financial reports by a deadline of December 24, the latest issue in a growing list that includes funding problems and investments that didn’t come to fruition.
The company did file quarterly reports and its annual 10-K filing for 2024.
In those reports, Triller reported that AEW accounted for approximately 19% of Triller’s consolidated revenue in 2023 ($10.3 million) and then 24% in 2024 ($6.6 million). Triller’s revenue in 2023 was just over $54.1 million and just over $27.4 million in 2024.
Through TrillerTV, they host AEW Plus — a service for international viewers that gives them live access to Dynamite and Collision and a discounted rate on AEW pay-per-views in addition to the option to buy them. Since 2023, other buying options for AEW PPVs increased which included YouTube, PPV.com and even Triller domestically which began in April 2024. Amazon Prime Video and HBO Max also became options, but in 2025 which isn’t covered in the Triller financials.
Triller is also the home of indie promotions like GCW, House of Glory, helping power their Triller+ subscription add-on, in addition to being a gateway to buy TNA PPVs.

Wishing you all the best New Year! We focus so much on what we want, what we believe should be that we forget about what is. Life is so good. Smile. Laugh. Enjoy. Pass that on to someone. To anyone. To everyone. We ain’t sh*t. But we can do more for others. Let’s try together. I’m with you.
At WWE’s house show in Detroit last night, Drew McIntyre taunted Brandi Rhodes and her family as they were in the front row. The main event of the show was Cody Rhodes defeating McIntyre in a street fight to retain the WWE Championship. Rhodes won by splashing McIntyre through a table.
Closing out the year coming off one of the greatest achievements and moments in my career so far. I appreciate everyone who stayed down and welcome everyone who just jumped on. Enjoy the ride, we going up
When I watched John Cena and AJ Styles wrestle at Crown Jewel, I wished they’d both never retire. The match was that good. I love that we’re celebrating a diversity of age in WWE. Asuka is in her mid-40s, she is a mother, she’s been wrestling for decades, and no one talks about her age. She’s also doing the best work of her career. She’s captivating, she’s intriguing, and the audience connects with her.
That’s the biggest thing in storytelling, the emotional connection with the audience. I’m not thinking about when she’s going to retire–I’m just thinking about when I can see her wrestle again.
I don’t think it’s something anybody can get used to, heheh. But I’ve gotten to know what it takes. You have to have your mind in a few different places at once, but at the same time you have to have your focus on the thing that’s right in front of you, and once you do that the mental aspect gets a lot easier. If you think too far ahead then everything gets on top of you.
Takeshita noted that all three promotions have different styles – and he brings his own style to the table as well:
They’re definitely all different, and the way the fans of each see pro-wrestling is very different. So there’s my own style and then there’s adapting that to the different tastes. It’s been about three and a half years since I went to America, and at first it really was a difficult change of gears. Now I wrestle much more in America than in Japan, so when I’m in Japan I have to change modes the other way.
Takeshita noted that, by wrestling overseas, he hopes to bring more of a spotlight to Japanese wrestling:
I am a Japanese wrestler, you know. I debuted in Japan. And now I’m wrestling in America, gained a ton of experience there, and I think that I can really bring Japanese pro-wrestling into the spotlight in a major way. I see my work overseas as my way of repaying the Japanese scene.
Ahead of appearing in his retirement match for Beyond Wrestling tonight, indie wrestler Dan Barry thanked everyone who supported him as he chased his dream
Today is my last day as a professional wrestler. Thank all of you who supported me as I chased a dream I’ve had since I was a little kid.
I’ve been blessed to meet tons of people, see hundreds of cities, and chase a dream that was thought to be unobtainable.
Triller Group Inc. ( ‘Triller Group’ or ‘the Company’) today announced that it received a determination letter from a Nasdaq Hearings Panel on December 26, 2025, confirming the suspension of trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market effective at the open of the market on December 30, 2025 and delisting of the Company’s securities. This decision stems from the Company not having been able to file two periodic reports by a deadline of December 24, 2025 set by the Hearings Panel.
The Company’s operations have been progressing in a normal manner, and no deficiencies or irregularities have been identified that materially affect the Company’s financial position or operational integrity. The filing delay is attributable primarily to one remaining technical matter involving the consolidation of accounts for a U.S.-based operation within Triller Group. Management is highly confident that the Company will regain full filing compliance within weeks, positioning the Company for robust revenue growth, product development, and expansion in 2026.
The imposed timeline does not account fully for the substantial remediation efforts that the Company has already achieved in resolving non-recurring integration challenges following the October 2024 business combination with legacy Triller Corp. The Company’s team, in collaboration with its advisors and auditors, has spent more than a year addressing all accounting and audit matters related to legacy Triller Group’s pre-merger operations. Prior to the merger’s closing, the Company (then operating as AGBA) was in full compliance with all Nasdaq listing requirements.
The Company is also in the final stages of implementing a comprehensive upgrade to its accounting systems and processes in partnership with a leading accounting and finance consulting firm in Los Angeles.
Triller Group is fully committed to exhausting all available appeal avenues. We intend to pursue an appeal through the Nasdaq process, and to the Securities and Exchange Commission and United States Court of Appeals if necessary. We expect to regain full filing compliance and return to regular trading on a major Exchange soon. The Company has retained Jacob S. Frenkel with Dickinson Wright PLLC as counsel to appeal the decision of the Hearings Panel and pursue all possible legal challenges to the Hearings Panel’s decision and the Nasdaq’s suspension of trading and delisting of our securities. On December 29, 2025, Mr. Frenkel filed an emergency application to the Securities and Exchange Commission (‘SEC’) requesting, among other things, that the SEC stay (prevent from going into effect) the trading suspension.
This procedural issue has no bearing on the Company’s ongoing operations, strategic priorities, or underlying financial strength.
The Company looks forward to achieving key growth milestones in 2026 and will provide timely updates to the market regarding progress on its financial filings and the Nasdaq appeal process and challenges to the Nasdaq’s decisions.

With more streaming providers now offering AEW pay-per-views, Triller is attempting to lead the pack by rolling out two separate PPV bundles that will save money for fans.
Officially announced on Monday, the former FITE.tv is packaging together this month’s All In from London’s Wembley Stadium with September’s All Out from Chicago for $84.99 — a 15% discount from buying the two separately at their $49.99 price point.
They also announced plans to offer a triple pack bundle for the final three AEW PPVs of the calendar year: October’s WrestleDream, November’s Full Gear and December’s Worlds End.
While the price hasn’t been announced, the release states, “The bundles provide a significant discount of over 25% compared to buying the individual pay-per-views separately, making them an excellent way to enjoy All Elite’s slate of regular PPV programming on TrillerTV.”
The bundles are also available for international buyers via AEW Plus.
It’s unknown if other AEW PPV providers like WBD-owned Bleacher Report, YouTube and PPV.com will also be able to offer bundled pricing.
In June, Triller announced that fans could buy past AEW PPVs individually or in bundles at a discount.

– A lot of people have talked about the Kendrick Lamar concert on Wednesday and AEW numbers. Like all things, it was a factor. The concert was the largest musical audience in the history of Amazon. What that means with viewers, well, that information hasn’t been released.
– In today’s Observer and on Wednesday’s show when we talked about the Triller deal for AEW historical PPVs and how that would affect or come about because of how media rights negotiations would be going, we’re told they are different situations. AEW PPV shows from the past have always been available through Bleacher Report, but were not marketed well. Since AEW has added many other places carrying the PPVs, including Triller, they are marketing the old shows on Triller. It’s not giving away rights while in negotiations that could include archival content. The reality is those rights can still be part of negotiations since none of that would go into effect until 2025 anyway.
– More on the story of Indianapolis bidding for major WWE events. Some expect the deal to be announced as soon as Monday if possible but this story in the Indianapolis Business Journal indicates the deal isn’t officially finalized yet. Based on a number of WWE sources, this story is accurate.
– The idea of a major fourth NBA package that TNT would get appears to be dead. TNT getting the NBA isn’t 100% dead, but that news makes it less likely.
– Teila Tuli, who lost to Gerard Gordeau in the first-ever UFC PPV fight in 1993, passed away yesterday at the age of 56. Tuli famously got his tooth knocked out by a kick from Gordeau in immediately and the fight was stopped at :28. The 400 pound former Japanese sumo star from Hawaii, who trained for pro wrestling under Tatsumi Fujinami, never fought again. He changed his name to Taylor Wily and became an actor, with a role in the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall and was a regular on Hawaii Five-O as Kamekona Tupola and also played the same role as his Five-O character on several episodes of Magnum P.I. and MacGyver.
– UFC debuts in Saudi Arabia with no women’s fights tomorrow.

– Reader Neil Trama noted to us that the ad for last night’s AEW show in Allentown, PA, listed photos of Kris Statlander, Jay White and Bryan Danielson the largest as well as Pac, Daniel Garcia, Swerve Strickland, Willow Nightingale, Malakai Black and Penta. The only one who wrestled on the show from that list was Black.

– The Collision main event of Kazuchika Okada vs. Ultimo Guerrero was a total mess according to multiple people who saw it. Guerrero, who lost his mask ten years ago to Atlantis in a very famous match, found out that AEW had promoted him with a mask. He hadn’t brought one. So they had to scramble to find one and ended up with one that kept falling off during the match. We were told it was very lucky this didn’t air live. (thanks to The Cubs Fan)

– Nic Nemeth makes his first defense of the AAA Mega title tomorrow, but in Puerto Rico against Eddie “Primo” Colon, not in AAA.
– People were raving about the Kyle Fletcher vs. Lee Johnson 2/3 fall match that aired on ROH television last night. Also heard good things about the Mark Briscoe ROH title defense against Fletcher that was taped last night in Allentown, PA presumably for this coming Thursday’s show.
– Charlotte Flair has started rehabbing her knee and she’s ahead of schedule as far as her quad strength in the knee she had surgery on.

Rosta appeared on many episodes of Dynamite a few years back when they were doing the Dan Lambert angle.

While the future of an all-inclusive streaming service appears to still be some time away, AEW has made important parts of its history — past pay-per-views — available for purchase on Triller in the interim.
Announced on Tuesday, fans can now purchase past PPVs either ala carte or by packs by complete year, dating back to the compnay’s beginning in 2018. Triller (the former FITE.tv) is a longtime partner with AEW, offering AEW+ to international viewers in addition to becoming an pay-per-view buying option for U.S. buyers which started this past April.
It’s the first time AEW has discounted past PPVs in this format as previously, the only way to watch older PPVs for those that had not previously purchased them was to buy them at their full price.
While the ala carte pricing is $10 per shows, the packs vary in price from $29.99 to $59.99, giving purchasers a discount when they buy in bulk:
2018/2018 pack ($34.99): All In, Double or Nothing, All Out, Full Gear, Fyter Fest and Fight for the Fallen
2020 pack ($29.99): Revolution, Double or Nothing, All Out and Full Gear
2021 pack ($29.99): Revolution, Double or Nothing, All Out and Full Gear
2022 pack ($34.99): Revolution, Double or Nothing, Forbidden Door, All Out and Full Gear
2023 pack ($59.99): Revolution, Double or Nothing, Forbidden Door, All In, All Out, WrestleDream, Full Gear and World’s End
AEW head Tony Khan has mentioned in the past that in the impending new TV rights deal he hopes to sign that streaming will be an option with that package. He has mentioned AEW’s library as part of that offering, but it’s unclear if any new deal would include past PPVs in addition to past episodes of AEW TV similar to how WWE, TNA and others offer their past content.
AEW is currently in their exclusive negotiating rights window with WBD that is expected to expire in the next few weeks according to reports.
After years of B/R Live being the sole domestic streaming source to buy AEW pay-per-views from, the next three AEW PPVs will also be available to purchase on Triller, the former FITE.
That change in availability will begin with next month’s AEW Dynasty and will continue with May’s Double or Nothing and June’s Forbidden Door. It’s unknown what will happen after that point as it was described as a “right now” situation.
On Tuesday, the ability to purchase Dynasty went live on Triller for the traditional $49.99 PPV price. The ability to purchase all three PPVs as a Triple Pack bundle as international buyers are able to do will not be an option for domestic buyers.
The news comes on the heels of last month’s Revolution which was marred by so many technical issues early on that the PPV was made available to buy on Triller for the U.S. audience as the show was going on.
Triller and AEW have been in business together for years as the former offers AEW Plus for international audiences — a monthly subscription package that includes Dynamite, Collision and Rampage. Additionally, that is where AEW PPVs can be purchased.
B/R Live is owned and operated by Warner Bros. Discovery who holds both AEW’s domestic TV rights and PPV streaming rights through what’s believed to be the end of 2024. Dynasty is currently available to purchase on that service.
After months of teasing a comeback against a former UFC champion, boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya has apparently found his man in former light heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort.
The Athletic’s Mike Coppinger first reported the news Thursday, saying the fight will be an exhibition held on Saturday, September 11th, likely in Las Vegas, Nevada. It will be promoted by Triller who did the Ben Askren vs. Jake Paul boxing match.
Georges St. Pierre and Eddie Alvarez were other names rumored to take on De La Hoya throughout this year.
The 44-year-old Belfort (seen above) was last under contract with Asian-based MMA promotion ONE, but never fought for them. He hasn’t competed since May 2018 when he lost to Lyoto Machida at UFC 224 and retired afterward. He has 18 knockouts in 41 career MMA fights but hasn’t scored once since November 2015.
He does have one professional boxing match: an April 2006 first round TKO over Josemario Neves in Brazil and actually discussed going into business with De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions in 2008. At one point, he was going to box on this weekend’s now-postponed Triller fight card and has also talked about fighting Evander Holyfield this year.
The 48-year-old De La Hoya hasn’t competed since a December 2008 loss to Manny Pacquiao.
Belfort is the latest former MMA fighter to take advantage of the last celebrity boxing craze following in the footsteps of Askren, Floyd Mayweather and Tyron Woodley who will face Jake Paul later this year. Anderson Silva will step into the boxing ring this Saturday against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on the same card as his famous father.

MONDAY NEWS UPDATE
Bryan and I will be back tonight talking Raw, New Japan, what the NHL deal means as far as pro wrestling goes and much more. You can send questions for the show to [email protected]
The second NHL contract looks like it will end up with Turner Broadcasting, a seven-year deal at $225 million per year. This has a ton of ramifications when it comes to both pro wrestling rights fees, as well as time slots. We’ll talk a lot more about that tonight and there is an article already written in the Observer regarding what this means for wrestling and MMA. Fox & FS 1 were thought to be the frontrunners, while NBC/USA pulled out officially today. WWE President Nick Khan on Thursday said that he thought NBCU would not be getting the NHL deal. When NBC dropped NBC Sports Network, part of the deal was to add sports programming, with the key being the NHL and NASCAR, to USA, but evidently they didn’t want to bid as high as the numbers got for a partial package.
We’re looking for your thoughts on last night’s UFC show as well as tonight’s Impact Rebellion, you can leave a thumbs up, down or middle, best and worst match for each show to [email protected]
Daniel Cormier, on his show with Ariel Helwani, said that he wanted to smash Jake Paul on Saturday but he can’t do that at work and would have gotten into trouble. He challenged Paul to an MMA fight, saying he has no interest in boxing him but if he wants to fight him, fight in mixed rules. He said he would cut to 205 and would come out of retirement for such a fight. That is not going to happen.
Raw tonight has Drew McIntyre & Braun Strowman vs. T-Bar & Mace, Miz & Elias & Jaxson Ryker vs. Damien Priest & Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods and Nia Jax & Shyana Baszler & Rhea Ripley vs Asuka & Lana & Naomi. Bobby Lashley is also scheduled for an interview.
Tickets for AEW’s Blood and Guts went on sale this morning. We don’t know how many tickets were put on sale. It was not 2,500 but they will open up to 2,500 if they have the demand. They put about 1,500 tickets on sale, or that could be off by 100 or so in either direction, and the last time I checked they were 353 tickets shy of a sellout.
Triller filed a lawsuit against 11 streaming companies and 100 individuals (not named) claiming piracy in both offering and selling their PPV. They claimed there were two million people at least who streamed it illegally and that cost them $100 million.
The company released a statement saying:
It’s shocking to think a theft so grand can be done so blatantly and brazenly and with no remorse. There is zero difference between what they did and walking into a market stealing tons of a product and selling it at a discount in the parking lot. It’s neither civilly nor criminally any different, and we are prosecuting to the fullest extent of the law. There were more than two million illegal streams, akin to hundreds of millions of dollars. Sites, mostly using Google’s YouTube, such as FILMDAILY.COM, ACCESSTVPRO.CO, enONLINE2LIVESTREAM.US, CRACKSTREAMSLIVE.COM, SPORTS-TODAY.CLUB, MY-SPORTS.CLUB, BILASPORT.COM, TRENDY CLIPS, MIKE, YOUR EXTRA, ECLIPT GAMING, ITSLILBRANDON, and others are causing significant damage not just to Triller Fight Club but content creators overall. People put a lot of hard work, time and money into creating a product for the consumer, and having it stolen and resold is terribly damaging. The good news is they are not protected by VPN masking or other firewalls as their activities are criminal and grand theft, so we will ultimately find them and prevail not just for us but for content creators in general.
Ryan Kavanaugh, co-controlling shareholder, Triller
Vice announced that the trailer for the 5/6 two-hour Dark Side of the ring season premiere on Brian Pillman will be out tomorrow.

The Brady Roberts podcast MINT CONDITION MUSCLE has a new interview with NXT’s Franky Monet, talking about her background in fitness competitions, training under Lance Storm, being discovered by Shad Gaspard and marrying John Morrison.
World Wrestling Entertainment gave a very enthusiastic look at its future on the 4/22 investors conference headed by President Nick Khan, with Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon and Chief Financial Officer Kristina Salen.
Like with the last call, Vince McMahon opened, said a few words and was never heard from again, with Khan impressively handling the questions.
The key with Khan is his knowledge of the sports media industry is so impressive, as he talked about the NHL deal and that he doesn’t believe NBC will get the second half of the package, Amazon Prime and Apple TV being players going forward and how the big players, and he considers WWE a big player, will thrive in this marketplace but that unproven companies will be hurt because the big media companies are spending so much on the big players and there’s only so much money going around.
For example, he said the Southeast Conference was in great shape with its television deal, talked about the NFL getting a 79 percent increase, but even more impressively, the NHL, with ratings down 25 percent, has already doubled its television deal from $200 million to $400 million with ESPN/Disney and still has another package to sell. But he also said that the Big 10 will have challenges.
Our annual WrestleMania issue of the Observer is out this week with full coverage of pro wrestling’s biggest event.

Also in this issue:

Stone Cold Broken Skull Sessions with Chris Jericho. We talk about the stories told, Jericho’s career, what they did talk about and what was avoided, how this went against usual McMahon policy and why we probably won’t be seeing another show like this very soon. We look at what was said about AEW, New Japan, WWE, some of Jericho’s frustrations with WWE that he talked about, the formation of AEW and much more.
The sale of FITE TV to Triller and why it happened this week.

We also look at WWE’s most-watched streaming clips and a star about to return, as well as the current market value of WWE.
Coverage of Saturday’s UFC show, comments on the winning fighters and upcoming booking, along with business notes on the show.
A feature on John Da Silva, who was the biggest babyface and a national hero in New Zealand in the 70s.
More on Ethel Johnson and sister Babs Wingo, who integrated women’s pro wrestling in the Billy Wolfe stable in 1951.
More detail on ratings than any other source, we have how every segment on NXT and AEW did as well as how it did with different age groups, genders and more, plus a look at all other wrestling shows of the past week.

SUNDAY NEWS UPDATE
Our weekend show with Bryan Alvarez and I is up on the site right now covering last night’s Triller show, the UFC, Smackdown and WWE cuts. Garrett Gonzalez and I also have a Friday night show talking about the news of the last week.
The Triller show was ridiculously popular, even as totally unprofessional as it was. Right now it appears there were 7.2 million searches on Google, which is gigantic, basically that beats anything in combat sports except for Ronda Rousey’s biggest fights or something like McGregor-Mayweather. Both days of WrestleMania combined did 750,000. AEW Revolution did 200,000 as a comparison. The UFC show last night head-to-head had 200,000 last night with Robert Whittaker, Tracy Cortez and Jeremy Stephens all cracking the top 20. For the rest of the week, WWE releases had 20,000 searches on Friday. Bad Bunny causing a Ticketmaster crash had 1 million searches on Thursday. Jake Paul had 100,000 searches on Tuesday.
A&E is airing two WWE-themed shows tonight. At 8 p.m. will be the first of the eight weeks of WWE profiles, covering Steve Austin. At 10 p.m. will be the new show starring Paul Levesque and Stephanie McMahon covering looking for WWE treasures. The Andre the Giant HBO documentary was the lead-in. Jason Hehir, who did The Last Dance and the Andre HBO documentary did the Austin show.
The Ultimate Fighter returns after a few years on ESPN+ on Tuesday nights starting 6/1. Alexander Volkanovski and Brian Ortega will coach, to build to a featherweight title match. These are the cast of fighters:
Men’s bantamweights:
Daniel Argueta (5-0)
Brady Hiestand (4-1)
Dustin Lampros (5-0)
Vince Murdock (11-6)

Gilbert Urbina (6-1)
Greg Schimizzi, a longtime Michigan area timekeeper, passed away on Friday after battling a chronic illness. He had worked on area shows for decades.
Regarding the close scores in a number of last night’s UFC fights, here are media scores:
Tracy Cortez got 54% of media scores to 38% for Justine Kish and 8% even. Cortez won via split decision.
Luis Pena got 31 percent of the media scores to 69 percent for Alexander Munoz, however Pena won the split decision
Alexander Romanov got 0% of judges’ scores even though he won a split decision over Juan Espino. Espino got 75 percent and 25 percent had it as a draw.
Jessica Penne won a split decision over Loopy Godinez. Media scores had 35 percent for Pena and 65 percent for Godinez.
