All Elite Wrestling launched MyAEW in March in partnership with Kiswe to provide fans with immersive access to live and on-demand events outside the United States and Canada.

Tony Khan ‘looking to add’ more promotions to MyAEW

Tony Khan has plans to make MyAEW a global hub for professional wrestling.

Speaking at the post-Double or Nothing press conference on Sunday night, Khan addressed the news that One Fall Wrestling (1FW) content will be featured on MyAEW. Adding that indie promotion made sense given that it’s owned by QT Marshall, an AEW wrestler/executive. And Khan confirmed the move is part of a broader strategy that will see more promotions join MyAEW.

“MyAEW is primarily focused on international [subscribers], but we do have the domestic service. And it has a lot of great content, and we plan to feature wrestling from multiple promotions,” Khan said. “We’ve just added QT’s great promotion, we have One Fall Wrestling now, but we’re looking to add other promotions to MyAEW and make it a hub for pro wrestling all over the world.

“Of course, for a lot of fans, it’s already become a great destination. It’s been a key part of our international strategy, but also here in the US, there’s great promotions we can make available on MyAEW. Still, we have all of our focus here pushed toward HBO Max and Warner Bros. Discovery.”

MyAEW —

The creation of MyAEW was announced this March, with the new service largely existing as a replacement for TrillerTV in markets outside of the United States and Canada. Those international subscribers can pay a monthly fee to access all AEW TV and ROH programming. At higher tiers, AEW pay-per-views are included in the subscription.

In the US/Canada, MyAEW is available as a FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television) channel that plays archival AEW content on a live stream. There is also some free AEW/ROH on-demand content, along with 1FW shows being free to watch on demand. 1FW is based in the state of Georgia and recently had Darby Allin stop by for a surprise appearance.

It’s noted on the MyAEW site that an AEW podcast network is coming soon.

MyAEW adds first indie promotion to streaming service

MyAEW has added its first indie promotion to their streaming service in a possible indication of an avenue the service will embrace in the future.

Atlanta, Georgia, based 1FW announced the news Friday that every episode of their weekly show (34 to date) is now on the service for subscribers. The promotion is owned by longtime AEW wrestler and front office member QT Marshall while ROH wrestler Jacked Jameson is one of the group’s trainers and promoters.

The news comes ahead of an 1FW mid-July event that will feature AEW & ROH roster members like Paul Wight, Billy Gunn, Harley Cameron, The Frat House, The Infantry and Jay Lethal. Former AEW World Champion MJF has also made appearances in the past.

With the current financial issues surrounding Triller that resulted in AEW leaving the platform, starting MyAEW with a technical partner, and then suing Triller for money owed, the move could be the first of more to come given the amount of current indie promotions airing on Triller+ that might need a new streaming home in the future.

MyAEW offers a FAST channel domestically while international viewers (and those with a VPN) can get access to AEW PPVs, weekly TV and ROH programming for a monthly or annual subscription fee.

AEW notes: MyAEW expands platforms, update on next two Wednesdays

On Tuesday night, AEW announced their MyAEW service is expanding platforms, adding both Roku and Roku TV.

Launched in March, the service is the replacement for Triller, allowing international viewers and those using VPNs to get access to AEW programming and PPVs for either a monthly or annual price that is a big discount from traditional pay-per-view costs.

There is also a FAST channel element, giving potential viewers access to 24/7 streaming episodes of Dynamite.

In addition to Roku, MyAEW is available on Apple TV, Fire TV and Android TV.

With the TBS and TNT schedules now updated for the next two weeks, there is clarity on how AEW is handling their upcoming Wednesday combo editions of Dynamite and Collision.

Both Wednesday, May 20, from Portland, Maine, and Wednesday, May 27 from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, will feature a two hour Dynamite and a one hour Collision.

In the case of May 27, AEW will also have a full two hour Collision the following Saturday from Huntsville, Alabama, giving them five total hours for the week.

Triller officially no longer offering AEW Plus after seven years

This story has been updated from its original run date of March 27.

The AEW and Triller era has come to an end.

After taking away the ability to sign up for the AEW Plus subscription service on March 27, Triller made it official on Tuesday, sending an email to current and past AEW PPV purchasers:

“We’re writing to let you know that AEW Plus is being discontinued. AEW and ROH PPVs are also no longer available for purchase on TrillerTV.

If you have an active AEW Plus subscription, it will end on your next billing date. You’ll have full access until that date.

Any PPVs you have previously purchased will remain available to watch in your account.”

Triller and AEW had been partners since 2019. The service gave international viewers the ability to watch weekly Dynamite & Collision episodes and archive AEW content in addition to a discount on AEW pay-per-views — all for a monthly fee.

Triller has been under financial duress for some time, perhaps portending AEW’s apparent exit and decision to launch MyAEW.com in March with a partner. In new SEC filings released earlier this year, Triller reported that AEW accounted for approximately 19% of their consolidated revenue in 2023 ($10.3 million) and then 24% in 2024 ($6.6 million). 2025 filings have not been released.

Recent reporting has Orange Crush, headed by Adam Abdalla, as a potential buyer for the troubled streamer.

Tony Khan AEW media call notes: Samoa Joe update, MyAEW goals, Big Boom AJ

While the most notable quote from Tony Khan’s media call Thursday was regarding a desire to be on the same channel and platform as UFC, he did give a brief update on former AEW World Champion Samoa Joe.

Khan said Joe is recovering from injuries and is optimistic for his return soon. The star has been out of action since a January 21 Dynamite win over Mike Bailey. A February report had him in concussion protocol with Joe himself saying last week he’ll be back “sooner than later.”

He was also asked about MyAEW and whether it could become a domestic provider of PPV in addition to international given the uncertain future with Paramount & WBD. Khan said he has a great relationship with Paramount from his NFL ties and a great relationship with David Ellison and thinks the world of him. He said MyAEW has nothing to do with the WBD relationship.

Khan said MyAEW and is about reaching as many international fans as possible as it’s available in 150 countries worldwide. He said their domestic strategy is driving fans to HBO Max for PPVs while they do have other providers. He did not mention Triller.

Here are some other topics Khan was asked about:

  • Asked about ROH’s TV future given the new TV taping structure, Khan says they still have “great revenue” coming from the ROH streaming service. He’s been still looking at opportunities and is excited for those opportunities, especially post-Paramount/WBD sale. He says people are having fun in ROH and is looking forward to next weekend’s set of tapings.
  • Asked if Big Boom AJ sets the tone for future celebrities in AEW in terms of repeat appearances, Khan put over his wrestling past training in OVW and that people don’t really know that. He said the influence he has bringing fans in is something everyone is very cognizant of, especially when Big Justice and The Rizzler are with him. Everyone enjoys them being there.

Khan was also asked about Brody King, the Hangman Page World title stipulation and more.

Monday Update

Bella Twins

— Bryan and I will be back tonight talking about a ton of news including the White House show and how we got there, WWE court cases updates, WrestleMania, AEW’s new service, Jon Jones, NXT Vengeance Day, Raw and a lot more.

— Francis Ngannou vs. Philipe Lins, a 40-year-old former UFC light heavyweight, has been added to the 5/16 Gina Carano vs. Ronda Rousey Netflix show that MVP Promotions is putting on. Rousey, in promoting the fight, said on X, “That what happens when you put fighters and fans ahead of shareholders. PS. UFC”S White House card sucks!” There will be a press conference for this show tomorrow at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles and tickets go on sale Tuesday. Ticket sales will be interesting. I expect the show to do very good numbers on Netflix, but I’m not as certain about live ticket sales if they are charging high prices. Nobody has drawn a big house for MMA in this country except for UFC probably dating back to the Strikeforce heyday in San Jose.

— After Dana White said that Jon Jones was never in the plans for the White House card, and he said he told Jones lawyer some time back when Jones wanted on the show that it was never going to happen, ever, Jones claims he was in talks as late as Friday. He said they were in real talks and real negotiations and said he came down from his original number, but was lowballed. Stories out indicate Jones wanted $25 million and UFC offered $15 million. He said he got stem cell treatment last week to get ready to train. He said if UFC thinks he’s done, then please give him his release. Right now with the nature of Netflix and MVP Promotions, Jones probably could make more with a fight with Francis Ngannou than any fight in UFC now. So I don’t know if the UFC would be willing to release him for that.

— The new AEW service looks to me as something they are setting up as a replacement for Triller, which has major financial issues. This has nothing to do with the U.S. television situation and this service is not even available in the U.S., because the contract with WBD would not allow it to be.

— Raw tonight is from Seattle with a Gauntlet match for a women’s IC title shot with Bayley, Lyra Valkyria, Asuka, Iyo Sky and Raquel Rodriguez, Oba Femi vs. Rusev and Penta vs. Grande Americano Gable. Neither Roman Reigns nor Brock Lesnar are scheduled, but both will be regulars on Raw starting next week in San Antonio. They had 8,755 tickets out as of earlier today, so again a good crowd but far from a sellout.

— Wrestletix lists AEW Double or Nothing for Louie Armstrong Stadium as having moved 6,545 tickets so far.

— TNA Impact on Thursday did 249,000 viewers and an 0.04 in 18-49. It was the second best viewer number, tied for fourth best 18-49 number since they started on AMC. This was a live show from Atlanta.

— NXT tomorrow has Joe Hendry & Myles Borne vs. Ricky Starks & Ethan Page, Lainey Reid vs. Sol Ruca, Wren Sinclair vs. Thea Hail, winner faces Speed champion Fallon Henley next week, Tavion Heights & Charlie Dempsey vs. Lexis King & Uriah Connors and Jasper Troy vs. Eli Knight vs. Sean Legacy.

— Eddie Hearn, as a guest on Ariel Helwani’s show, in his feud with Dana White said that he’d knock White out in three rounds or less if they boxed and said that when White does interviews with UK outlets, that the reporters are told ahead of time what they are allowed to ask and that UFC asks to see the interview before it can go out.

— Chelsea Green was on the Bellas podcast and said Michael Hayes has apologized to her over what he said months ago on WWE Unreal.

— Raven posted a photo of himself with Rosemary and The Bunny (who also returns to TNA meaning she was not given an AEW contract renewal) as a preview for the already shot show on Thursday.

— CMLL, with no advance warning, streamed last night’s Arena Mexico show featuring the return of Mascara Dorada. Dorada & Templario & Neon beat Angel de Oro & Hechicero & Barbaro Cavernario in the main event. Tomorrow night’s show at Arena Mexico which does stream live has Dorada & Templario vs. Difunto & Hechicero, Neon vs. Flip Gordon and Corbade & El Hijo de Stuka Jr. & Felino Jr. face Blue Panther Jr. & Dark Panther & El Hijo de Blue Panther for the Mexican national trios tites. Blue Panther vs. Stuka Jr. and Atlantis Jr. & Titan & Xelhua vs Angel de Oro & El Hijo del Villano III & Soberano Jr. will headline in Guadalajara tomorrow.

— Claudio Castagnoli vs. Ultimo Guerrero for the CMLL heavyweight title in a rematch will be on Friday’s Arena Mexico show. Their first match was good, nothing compared to Castagnoli’s big AEW singles bouts though.

— The New Japan Cup continues in Okayama at 4:30 a.m. Eastern tomorrow morning has Shingo Takagi vs. Don Fale and Drilla Moloney vs. Yuya Uemura.

— Norvell Austin turns 75 today. Nikita Koloff turns 67. Rick Steiner turns 65. Tiger Ali Singh turns 55. Melina Perez turns 47. Aubrey Edwards turns 39. Eddie Creachman, the manager of The Sheik, was 66 when he passed away 32 years ago today. Wally Yamaguchi (Yamaguchi-san in WWF) was 60 when he passed away seven years ago today. (thanks to Tony Richards)

AEW launches FAST channel as part of new MyAEW digital platform with PPV access

After more than six years, AEW now has their own FAST channel as part of a new partnership with streaming technology provider Kiswe that may portend the end of their relationship with Triller.

Announced on Monday, MyAEW will give “fans immersive access to live and on-demand events outside the United States and Canada, a dedicated FAST channel with ad supported viewing available to fans globally and more exciting features to come in the near future.” FAST is an acronym for free ad-supported streaming television.

Found at MyAEW.com, episodes of AEW Dynamite’s first year are currently streaming in order. For U.S. and Canadian viewers, the website also has a coming soon graphic for the AEW Podcast Network in addition to links for merchandise.

No app was announced with the launch.

International impact

Fans outside the U.S. and Canada can now get all of their AEW and ROH programming in one spot for one price.

Available now, there are three separate packages that includes a monthly $7.99 plan for Dynamite, Collision, ROH TV and special events, and TV archive access, a $19.99 plan that also includes the AEW PPV for that month and select PPV archive access, and a yearly $119.99 plan that includes all AEW PPVs for the year. PPV purchases remain available for 90 days.

The service immediately becomes an alternative to Triller which has been embattled in well-documented financial issues and perhaps AEW’s long-term primary option. Triller currently still provides a gateway both to AEW programming and PPV availability for many international countries via AEW Plus which is $7.99 per month with a 20% PPV discount.

FAST channel

It’s unclear if the FAST channel will eventually be made available to other FAST providers like Pluto TV, Tubi, Roku Channel, Samsung TV Plus, and Xumo Play for more exposure.

WBD has launched several FAST channels to some of those providers, but has not done anything with AEW to date. Of note, Paramount Skydance, the possible future domestic rights holder to AEW if the WBD acquisition goes through, owns Pluto TV.

In February, The CW launched their own FAST channel for WWE NXT. Both TNA and the NWA (formerly of The CW) has a presence on several FAST providers including Pluto. WWE has yet to launch one.
