Rok-C debut announced for WWE NXT Level Up

The former Rok-C is set to make her WWE debut on this week’s episode of NXT Level Up.

WWE has announced that Rok-C, who has been given the new in-ring name Roxanne Perez, will face Sloane Jacobs on NXT Level Up this Friday. The episode was taped before NXT earlier this week.

It was confirmed last month that the 20-year-old Rok-C (real name Carla Gonzalez) has signed with WWE. She’s a former ROH Women’s World Champion.

Rok-C was trained by Booker T and is also a former Diamonds Division Champion for Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion.

Jacobs (real name Amelia Herr) was part of the same class of WWE Performance Center recruits as Rok-C. Before signing with WWE, Jacobs wrestled on the indies as The Notorious Mimi. She made her NXT debut in a loss to Nikkita Lyons two weeks ago.

WWE.com wrote about Jacobs when she signed:

Amelia Herr is an 18-year-old Criminal Justice major out of West Chester, Pa. With two years of Taekwondo training under her belt, she also competed on the independents as The Notorious Mimi.

NXT Level Up airs on Peacock/WWE Network at 10 p.m. Eastern time on Fridays. Here’s the full lineup for this week’s episode:

  • Kiana James vs. Tatum Paxley
  • Roxanne Perez vs. Sloane Jacobs
  • Damon Kemp vs. Troy Donovan

Rok-C debuts at WWE NXT Level Up taping, gets new name

Rok-C made her NXT debut during tonight’s NXT Level Up tapings.

Going under the name Roxanne Perez, she defeated Sloane Jacobs. This is her first match since WWE confirmed her signing last month.

Trained by Booker T, Rok-C first started wrestling under Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion. In 2021, she started to gain attention during her run in Ring of Honor, competing in a tournament to crown the first Ring of Honor Women’s World Champion. At 19, she became the first-ever champion by defeating Miranda Alize in a tournament final. Before the company temporarily shut down in December, she defeated Willow Nightingale to retain the championship at Final Battle.

Rok-C went on to lose the title to Deonna Purrazzo on the episode of Impact Wrestling that aired on January 13 that had been for both the ROH Women’s World Championship and the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship.

Other matches taped for Level Up this week had Damon Kemp defeating Troy Donovan and Tatum Paxley defeating Kiana James.

NXT Level Up results: Three debuts

The show opened with a new intro package that showed off NXT’s greatest successes (Seth Rollins, Bianca Belair, Big E, etc.). No one on the current NXT brand was included, which seems a little strange.

Javier Bernal defeated Guru Raaj

Bernal opened the match with a prolonged headlock. Bernal held on to this headlock for dear life, maintaining it on the mat and standing. Raaj eventually escaped and gained a foothold with a dropkick following a series of quick pin attempts.

Bernal fought to a standing position after a submission attempt from Raaj. Bernal led a short offensive sequence, punctuated with a double-knee facebreaker (basically a codebreaker). Bernal pinned Raaj, bringing the opening match to an end.

Ivy Nile defeated Thea Hail

This was not good.

Hale came to the ring with a long red cape. I think this was meant to be a reference to her ‘spartan’ heritage.

Nile opened the match with a drop from the fireman’s carry onto the top rope. Nile tossed Hail across the ring and scored multiple strike downs. Nile connected with a shiranui from the top and a German suplex.

Hail launched a very short-lived rally, but after awkwardly rolling around on the mat, Nile locked in an equally as awkward dragon sleeper; the hold forced Hail to submit.

Bodhi Hayward and Andre Chase defeated Channing Lauren and Troy Donovan

This was a fine little match. Lauren and Donovan looked great and were good in their role.

Lauren and Chase opened the match, trading wrist locks. Chase took the lead from the sequence, laying the boots to Lauren before tagging to Bodhi. Donovan tagged in as well, but Bodhi maintained his team’s lead with a wrist lock that he passed over to Chase.

Lauren connected with a sneaky strike while Chase was looking away. Donovan took this opportunity, taking control of the match. Lauren and Donovan then worked to isolate Chase from Bodhi.

Chase scored a hot tag after a long struggle. Bodhi knocked both opponents off their feet in a burst of energy. After a series of slams, Chase tagged back in. Chase and Hayward hit a strange double team move, leading to a pinfall in their favour.

Three debuts set for WWE NXT Level Up

Three recent WWE signees are set to debut on this week’s edition of NXT Level Up.

Troy Donovan (real name Cole McKinney), Channing Lauren (Mitchell Lavalley), and Thea Hail (Maddie Knisley) will debut on the Level Up episode that airs this Friday night. Donovan & Lauren will face Andre Chase & Bodhi Hayward in a tag team match, while Hail will take on Ivy Nile in singles action.

Donovan, Lauren, and Hail were all independent wrestlers before signing with WWE. They were part of the group of recruits that reported to the Performance Center last month.

Donovan went by the name Cole Karter prior to signing with WWE, Lauren went by “Motherlover” Jake Tucker, and Hail went by Nikita Knight.

Donovan, Lauren, and Hall have all appeared on AEW Dark in the past.

WWE.com wrote about them when they joined the Performance Center:

Cole McKinney from Charleston, W.Va., has been honing his craft for over a year and a half already after foregoing wrestling offers from multiple DI Universities to pursue his passion for professional wrestling, going by the ring name Cole Karter on the independents.

Mitchell Lavalley has made a name for himself on the independent circuit under the moniker ‘Motherlover’ Jake Tucker. Trained by the likes of WWE Hall of Famer Kane, Natalya, Tyson Kidd, and Dr. Tom Prichard, Lavalley won the 2014 ‘WWE Show Us Your Superstar’ Contest when he was 19, making a series of videos at the WWE Performance Center before appearing on the SummerSlam Pre-Show Panel.

18-year-old Maddie Knisley is a six-time state champion in vault, having trained in competitive gymnastics for 11 years. She also competed on the independent wrestling scene as Nikita Knight.

NXT Level Up replaced 205 Live this February. The show airs on Peacock/WWE Network at 10 p.m. Eastern time on Fridays.

Here’s the full lineup for this week’s show:

  • Andre Chase & Bodhi Hayward vs. Troy Donovan & Channing Lauren
  • Ivy Nile vs. Thea Hail
  • Javier Bernal vs. Guru Raaj

NXT Level Up results: Jacket Time vs. Edris Enofe & Malik Blade

Joe Gacy (with Harland) defeated Quincy Elliott

This match was the debut of Elliott. Before the match began, Gacy cut a promo about giving Quincy Elliott his first opportunity. From the start, Gacy had trouble with Elliott’s size. Gacy targeted Elliott’s neck with headlocks and forearms throughout the match. Gacy came back with a springboard lariat and, with Harland’s help, was able to distract Elliott to pick up the win following the handspring clothesline.

Quincy Elliott looked good in his debut tonight, but he could use some more work regarding his selling.

Ivy Nile (with Malcolm Bivens) defeated Kiana James

Before the bell rang, James cut a very scripted promo about working in an office and making her dream come true on NXT Level up. Ivy Nile DOMINATED this match. She submitted James quickly with the dragon sleeper and remains undefeated.

Edris Enofe & Malik Blade defeated Jacket Time

Kushida and Ikeman controlled the match early on. Blade and Enofe were able to turn the flow of the match into their favor by isolating Ikeman Jiro, working on his left arm. Kushida with a hot tag was able to give Jacket Time the flow of the match again. However, Enofe and Blade soon came back and were able to score the win following a modified double powerbomb on Kushida. This was the third consecutive loss for Jacket Time.

After the match, Jiro and Kushida shook hands with Enofe and Blade.

Final Thoughts

The piped crowd noises were very distracting during this episode, especially when you see the crowd not reacting to what is happening in the ring.

The in-ring work on this show was fine, but nothing out of this world. Ivy Nile has the potential to be a star, if booked right.

Quincy Elliott to debut on WWE NXT Level Up

A new member of the NXT roster is debuting on this week’s episode of Level Up.

WWE has announced that Quincy Elliott will debut in a match against Joe Gacy on NXT Level Up this Friday night. Elliott formerly wrestled using the names MIG and Lil Atari outside of WWE.

Elliott appeared on an episode of NXT last November as part of Gacy’s “all-inclusive invitational.” WWE filed a trademark for the name “Quincy Elliott” in conjunction with that segment.

Elliott also appeared in the audience during “Lashing Out with Lash Legend” on NXT earlier this month.

In December 2021, Outsports ranked MIG/Lil Atari 182nd on their list of the top 200 LGBTQ wrestlers of the year:

If the spikes don’t get you, MIG has plenty in his arsenal to put anyone down for the count. The California independent regular displayed his power and impressive agility at Supreme Pro Wrestling and VERSUS Pro Wrestling, challenging for the LVL Up Expo title at the latter. But MIG bust onto many people’s radar at Paris Is Bumping: Solid Gold ‘21 as Haus of Atari’s Lil Atari. He closed out the year with an appearance on WWE NXT in a segment with Joe Gacy and Roderick Strong.

This will be the sixth episode of NXT Level Up since the show replaced 205 Live.

Jacket Time (Kushida & Ikemen Jiro) vs. Malik Blade & Edris Enofe will headline this Friday’s Level Up. Ivy Nile vs. Kiana James rounds out the three-match lineup for the show.

Kiana James is Kayla Inlay’s new WWE in-ring name. It was confirmed last week that she’s officially signed with WWE. Inlay debuted on NXT in a loss to Sarray this February.

NXT Level Up results: Dante Chen vs. Bodhi Hayward

Xyon Quinn defeated Damon Kemp

This was, in fact, a wrestling match that happened.

The match opened with both men testing one another. Eventually, Quinn dropped Kemp by blocking a crossbody attempt. This lead was short-lived as Kemp wrestled a now bloody Quinn to the mat.

Quinn finally fought to his feet, laning a handful of strikes before a swinging Samoan drop and superman forearm left him with the win.

Lash Legend defeated Valentina Feroz

This was bad. There were some cute ideas, but the execution was just off at nearly every turn.

Legend used her significant size advantage to push around Feroz after the opening bell. Feroz tried to check Legend’s size with leg kicks and cruiserweight offence. Instead, Legend shrugged off Feroz, throwing her to the ground before a prolonged stalling suplex left Legend with a strong lead.

Feroz eventually snuck in a choke. Legend survived by slamming Feroz into the corner and throwing her to the mat. Legend tried for a chokeslam, but Feroz connected with a quick sequence of dropkicks to maintain her lead. Hoping to finish the match, Feroz tried for a dive; Legend caught Feroz, but Feroz managed to transition into a leg based choke. But Legend escaped by trying to bounce Feroz against the top and middle rope. Once Legend escaped, she hit Feroz with a boot to close this one.

After the match, Legend cut a promo. She said she was Lash Legend, emphasis on Legend (her emphasis, not mine). She then called out Nikita Lyons, who she’s been feuding with on NXT.

Dante Chen defeated Bodhi Hayward

This was a nothing match—not bad; not good.

The match opened with some back and forth wrestling. Chen brought the early standstill to an end with a pair of arm drags. Chen’s lead came to an end after Bodhi connected with a sudden takedown.

Robert Stone came from the back. This distraction allowed Chen to steal control for a moment, but after a failed suplex attempt, Bodhi retook the advantage. Meanwhile, Andre Chase and Stone argued on the outside. Bodhi was distracted by this again, allowing Chen to grab a quick pin. Bodhi was caught so off guard he did not kick out.

NXT Level Up results: Grizzled Young Veterans vs. Briggs & Jensen

Trick Williams defeated Guru Raaj

This was a nothing match in a non-offensive kind of way. It wasn’t good or bad; it just happened.

Williams and Raaj went back and forth for a while before Williams used a scoop slam to take the lead. Williams tried submitting Raaj with a standing stretch, but Raaj endured. Once escaping Williams’s submission attempt, Raaj launched a short rally, but a quick spinning kick from Williams cut him off. A swinging neck breaker brought this match to an end.

Ivy Nile defeated Brooklyn Barlow

I am quite the Nile fan, but this match didn’t come together at all. Barlow’s offence was less than stellar throughout this match, and her control sequences were not convincing.

Nile opened the match with a pair of leg kicks and a massive takedown. Barlow answered with a hip toss takedown into arm control. Nile took her time before escaping but turned things around on a dime with a quick strike. Nile then led an extended offensive sequence, complete with a suplex and some strikes.

Barlow fought back into the match with a swift sequence. A sneaky pin almost scored her a win, but Nile kicked out. Then, almost as quickly as it started, Nile cut off Barlow with a punch to the midsection and kick to the head. Nile then locked in a dragon sleeper, resulting in the submission victory.

James Drake and Zack Gibson (Grizzled Young Veterans) defeated Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen

This was not great.

Gibson took control early but fell to double team offence. Drake helped Gibson retake control with some GYV tandem work.

Drake couldn’t keep control while facing down Briggs, but a sneaky tag let Gibson take the lead. GYV then singled out Jensen in classic tag-team fashion. Jenson grew progressively more desperate after multiple failed tag attempts; once Briggs actually tagged in, he ran through GYV, scoring a near fall after a backbreaker.

GYV retook control after Gibson jumped Briggs while he was occupied with Drake. GYV hit a combination dropkick/facebuster, resulting in a near fall. The pair then taunted Briggs, buying him enough time to dodge a dropkick and tag out.

Jensen tried to start a rally, but he was distracted by a woman in the crowd. Drake kneed Jensen in the head then covered him while Gibson held his feet, leading to a GYV victory.

After the match, Fallon Henley confronted GYV as they were walking up the ramp. Briggs and Jensen then came in and beat down Gibson. Commentary said it looked like “a bar fight in Alabama” and a “good ‘ole country ho-down”. Good lord. The show ended with Brooks & Jensen standing tall.

WWE announces NXT Level Up lineup, Brooklyn Barlow to debut

A debut is set for this week’s edition of NXT Level Up.

Brooklyn Barlow (real name Brooke Vawter) will make her in-ring debut as she faces Diamond Mine’s Ivy Nile on NXT Level Up this Friday night. This will be the fourth episode of Level Up since the show premiered last month and replaced 205 Live.

Barlow signed with WWE after participating in last August’s SummerSlam week tryouts in Las Vegas. She’s a bikini competitor and strongman competitor.

Nile is undefeated in singles matches since making her NXT 2.0 debut. She teamed with Tatum Paxley in the 2022 women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, losing to Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter in the first round.

Two other matches will also be airing on NXT Level Up this week. Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen will take on The Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake) in tag team action, while Trick Williams will face Guru Raaj.

NXT Level Up airs on Peacock/WWE Network at 10 p.m. Eastern time on Fridays.

WWE NXT Level Up results: Blade & Enofe vs. Legado del Fantasma

Dante Chen defeated Javier Bernal

These two had a fine match. It opened with a playful headlock takedown back and forth. Dante Chen transitioned from a headlock into a suplex that left him in a strong position for some time. Javier Bernal turned the match around with a roll-up attempt, catching Chen off guard, and leading to an extended sequence on his end.

Bernal’s offense ended abruptly as Chen reversed a monkey flip into a pin, bringing the match to a close.

Tiffany Stratton defeated Erica Yan

Again, this match was fine.

The fact that Tiffany Stratton’s character isn’t a 20-year-old act still blows my mind. It would feel dated in 2005, but here we are.

Erica Yan outplayed Stratton early, scoring a takedown before dragging her in circles by her ankle. Stratton fought back by slamming Yan into the middle turnbuckle and sitting on her. Stratton lost a lock of hair at some point, which she used to smack Yan.

Yan finally escaped a hammerlock and turned things in her favor. Yan tried for a suplex, but Stratton blocked it. Stratton followed up by tossing Yan to the mat and hitting a standing moonsault. To finish the match, Stratton hit a good looking spinning splash.

Legado del Fantasma (Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde) defeated Malik Blade & Edris Enofe

This was a cute little match to close the show. I enjoyed the thematic leg work and its overall simplicity.

These two teams also faced off in this year’s men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, with Malik Blade & Edris Enofe upsetting Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde in the first round.

Blade and Enofe gained an early lead by isolating Mendoza. The duo maintained their advantage as Wilde entered the fray. This lasted until Mendoza threatened Blade, providing Wilde with an opportunity to turn things around. Mendoza and Wilde took full advantage, connecting with ample double-team offense while working to sequester Blade.

Blade had his leg targeted for quite some time. When the hot tag finally came, Enofe ran through Legado del Fantasma. After scoring a near fall on Mendoza, Enofe locked in a single-leg Boston crab, delivering some just desserts. Enofe then climbed to the top, but he was distracted by Elektra Lopez before he could close the match. An enzuigiri brought Enofe back to the mat. Legado del Fantasma then hit Enofe with their held-in-place kick finish to bring this match to an end.

WWE announces lineup for NXT Level Up episode three

A Dusty Classic rematch will headline this week’s episode of NXT Level Up.

WWE has announced that Malik Blade & Edris Enofe vs. Legado del Fantasma’s Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde will air on NXT Level Up this Friday. This will be the third episode of the show since it replaced 205 Live.

In the opening round of this year’s men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, Blade & Enofe got an upset win against Mendoza & Wilde. Blade & Enofe went on to lose to MSK in the semifinals of the tournament.

Dante Chen vs. Javier Bernal and Erica Yan vs. Tiffany Stratton will also take place on Level Up this week.

Chen has recently been feuding with Duke Hudson on NXT. Hudson defeated him on NXT last week.

On this Tuesday’s NXT, Stratton was involved in a segment with Sarray. She called Sarray’s necklace “a little tacky.”

Bernal made his WWE debut on an episode of 205 Live in January, while Yan debuted on the show last November.

NXT Level Up airs on Peacock/WWE Network at 10 p.m. Eastern time on Fridays. The show features some of NXT’s “brightest young talent as they look to make a name for themselves and begin their climb to the top of NXT 2.0.”

NXT Level Up results: Jacket Time vs. Joe Gacy & Harland

James Drake defeated Xyon Quinn

There was absolutely nothing special about this match.

Quinn and Drake opened by trading holds. Quinn gained the upper hand by interrupting Drake mid-sprint; Zack Gibson pulled Drake to the outside to save him. Quinn pursued Drake, only for Gibson to land some strikes while the referee wasn’t paying attention.

Back in the ring, Quinn continued to fight, even after Gibson’s interference. He endured a deep choke, responding with more strikes after escaping. A chokeslam from the top rope prompted Gibson to distract Quinn again. Drake grabbed the tights, rolling Quinn into a pin that ended this match.

After the match, Quinn pulled Gibson into the ring and hit him with a swinging Samoan drop.

Elektra Lopez defeated Sarray

This was bad—really bad. Sarray is some kind of magic school girl now, so that’s something.

Lopez used her size advantage early to gain control. She tossed, pulled, slammed, and dropped Sarray, with next to no resistance. Eventually, Sarray dodged an elbow drop, opening Lopez up to a dropkick and a pair of double stomps. Sarray tried for the knee but missed, crashing into Joaquin Wilde. Lopez capitalised, dropping Sarray on her face before pinning her to close the match.

Joe Gacy and Harland defeated Ikeman Jiro and KUSHIDA (Jacket Time)

The more I see from the Harland/Gacy pair, the cooler I get on them. This match wasn’t bad, but the culty stuff is too much for me.

KUSHIDA wrestled Gacy to the mat early and tagged out after proving his superiority. Jiro continued KUSHIDA’s lead, landing multiple jacket punches, forcing Harland to tag in.

Jiro tried striking down Harland, but the tree did not fall. Harland landed a splash into the corner before slamming Jiro into the mat. Harland stretched Jiro over the ropes, forcing Gacey to calm him down. Gacy tagged in, landed a DDT, and tried for the pin; Jiro kicked out.

Jiro reversed a backdrop into a crossbody, buying him enough time to tag KUSHIDA into the match. KUSHIDA unloaded with heavy offence before Harland interrupted a handspring. KUSHIDA tried following up with an octopus, but Harland hit the ring. Gacy had to calm Harland down again, allowing Jiro to tag back in. Harland’s gaze froze Jiro, opening him up to a big lariat from Gacy. Harland tagged in once more, landed a giant splash, and pinned Jiro to close the show.

WWE reveals lineup for second episode of NXT Level Up

WWE has revealed the lineup for the second episode of NXT Level Up.

The new series made its debut last week, replacing 205 Live on Friday nights. It features some of NXT’s “brightest young talent as they look to make a name for themselves and begin their climb to the top of NXT 2.0.”

The three matches that will be airing on this Friday’s NXT Level Up are:

  • Jacket Time (Kushida & Ikemen Jiro) vs. Joe Gacy & Harland
  • Xyon Quinn vs. James Drake
  • Sarray vs. Elektra Lopez

Kushida was also involved in the main event of the premiere episode of Level Up last week. He lost to Edris Enofe on the show.

Drake and his tag team partner Zack Gibson recently made it to the semifinals of the 2022 men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic before losing to The Creed Brothers, who went on to win the tournament.

Quinn lost to Gacy in the main event of the final 205 Live episode two weeks ago.

Neither Sarray nor Lopez are involved in this year’s women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. That tournament began on NXT earlier this week.

Sarray is currently on a three-match winning streak.

NXT Level Up airs on Peacock/WWE Network at 10 p.m. Eastern time on Fridays. It’s taped before NXT each week.

NXT Level Up results: Kushida vs. Edris Enofe

Harland defeated Javier Bernal

Harland started the first NXT Level Up match in dominant fashion. After being slammed into the mat a dozen times, Bernal tried to rally. Unfortunately for Bernal, Harland withstood the attempt at offence before closing the match with a slam, reminiscent of John Cena’s old Protoplex.

Even with Bernal’s mid-match spark up, this was a total squash.

Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley defeated Fallon Henley and Kayla Inlay

This was an enjoyable match. Nile is very over with this crowd, and for good reason; she is constantly a standout performer on all of the cards I’ve seen her on.

Nile opened the match with a quick takedown, but stood things back up immediately. While standing, Inlay was able to force Nile into the corner, prompting a tag and double dropkick, leaving Henley in control. Henley, in her offence, allowed Nile to be too close to Paxley, allowing Nile to stealthfully tag in and take control. What followed was a fun sequence, punctuated with a suplex into a standing corkscrew to the leg of Henley.

Nile landed a suplex before locking in head scissors. Henley tagged out after escaping, leading to an intense sequence from Inlay. Inlay landed a slam, prompting Paxley to hit the ring; this distraction bought Nile enough time to lock in a dragon sleeper to score the submission victory.

Edris Enofe defeated Kushida

This wasn’t anything spectacular, but it had its moments. The finish was a shock, at least to me, and the contents were entertaining.

This match opened with back and forth wrestling. Once Kushida found his footing, he continued with the grappling, taking control when on the mat and keeping Enofe there. Enofe eventually rolled through Kushida’s ground control, gaining control of the leg. Enofe tried to capitalize by climbing to the top, but Kushida caught him on the way down with a dropkick. Kushida followed up with a flurry of kicks and a DDT. Kushida locked in an armbar for a convincing finish tease.

Enofe caught Kushida again with a dropkick mid handspring. Enofe then climbed to the top again before connecting with a beautiful dive. Enofe then hooked the leg and pinned Kushida for an upset victory to close the debut edition of NXT Level Up.

Closing Thoughts

While structurally identical to 205 Live, this show had a different atmosphere that added to the final product. The matches were not incredible; in fact, they were pretty on par with 205 Live standards, but the crowd was hot. Also, the show’s name is no longer a lie, so that’s nice, I guess. Overall, this was a slight but still noticeable improvement.

WWE reveals lineup for NXT Level Up premiere

WWE has officially revealed the lineup for the premiere episode of NXT Level Up.

NXT Level Up debuts on Peacock/WWE Network at 10 p.m. Eastern time this Friday, replacing 205 Live. The show, which was taped before NXT earlier this week, will feature some of WWE’s “brightest young talent as they look to make a name for themselves and begin their climb to the top of NXT 2.0.”

In the main event of the episode, Kushida will take on Edris Enofe. Harland vs. Javier Bernal is also set for the show, along with a tag team match with Ivy Nile and the debuting Tatum Paxley facing Fallon Henley & Kayla Inlay.

Kushida and Enofe were both recently involved in the 2022 men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. MSK defeated Kushida & Ikemen Jiro in the first round, then defeated Enofe & Malik Blade in the semifinals.

Bernal made his WWE debut on 205 Live last month, losing to Draco Anthony.

Inlay debuted for WWE in a loss to Sarray on NXT two weeks ago.

Paxley (real name Natalie Holland) is having her first match for WWE on NXT Level Up. She’s a powerlifter who signed with WWE after taking part in last August’s tryouts in Las Vegas.

“With an eye on Dusty Cup glory, Malcolm Bivens and Nile have recruited Tatum Paxley,” WWE.com wrote. “If Paxley proves half as focused and deadly as Nile, the newly formed duo could emerge as tournament favorites. Nile and Paxley will look to kick off their partnership with a victory against the intriguing duo of Henley and Inlay.”

This year’s women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic begins on NXT next Tuesday.
