  • Bryan Danielson told Sports Illustrated that he’s “very, very proud” of his match against Shingo Takagi from Dragon Gate USA in 2010 and is excited to face him again at Forbidden Door:
    • What really excites me about this is how much we’ve both developed as wrestlers since then 2010. If you go through what Shingo has done since leaving Dragon Gate, he went to NJPW, the biggest company in Japan, he won the IWGP junior championship, and then he moved to heavyweight and won the IWGP heavyweight championship. When he’s wrestling, I’m watching.

    • WWE- AEW Brodie Lee (Johathan Huber) sadly passed away in 2020. Yesterday I received one of the most meaningful gifts from his wife @mandahuber. A pair of Reebok shoes dedicated to him with my number also included. It was no secret this man was a fan of hockey and The Toronto Maple Leafs. I will forever treasure this gift!
  • MJF shared a story of visiting a medium and receiving a message from Brodie Lee to give to Amanda Huber.
  • Anthony Bowens made an appearance on MLB Network yesterday.

NWA wrestler Max the Impaler to star in horror movie

The NWA TV Champion has been cast in a horror film.

“Dolly” featuring Max the Impaler wrapped filming in Chattanooga, Tennessee recently, Variety is reporting. Max plays the role of Dolly in the film, who is described as “a monstrous figure.”

“Macy, a young woman, is abducted by a monstrous figure intent on raising her as their own child,” reads a description of the film.

The filmmakers have described the movie as “a blend of New French Extremity and 1970s American horror.” It also stars Sean William Scott (American Pie), Ethan Suplee (Babylon), Russ Tiller (Blood for Dust), and Michalina Scorzelli (Shoplifters of the World). Rod Blackhurst (Blood for Dust) directed.

“The film also introduces current NWA TV Champion Max the Impaler, aka The Non-Binary Nightmare, in the titular role of Dolly,” wrote Variety’s Naman Ramachandran.

Max last wrestled at the NWA Crockett Cup tapings at The OC Theatre in Forney, Texas last month. Earlier this year, they unified the NWA TV Championship and NWA Women’s TV Championship in a match against Mims.

– SmackDown tonight is from Louisville, KY. They had 8,300 tickets out as of this morning in a major arena, so far from a sellout but they still will have a nice crowd. The only stuff announced is Apollo Crews vs. Angel, Johnny Gargano vs. Grayson Waller, Jade Cargill vs. Indi Hartwell, Solo Sikoa anoints Tonga Loa into the Bloodline and Cody Rhodes appears. In Birmingham, AL on WBRC the show will be airing tonight at 11:05 p.m. as they are airing the opening ceremony for the Alabama State Games in prime time on the station.

– For this weekend, we’ll be doing polls on both New Japan Dominion and NXT Battleground, so you can leave a thumbs up, down or thumbs in the middle along with a best and worst match for each show to [email protected]

– We’re looking for reports on these weekend shows:

  • WWE SmackDown tonight in Louisville, KY (dark matches only)
  • NXT tonight in Davenport, FL
  • AEW tomorrow night in Council Bluffs, IA (reports on the matches not airing on television)

– Mistico vs. Magnus headlines tonight’s Arena Mexico show. How Magnus does in this match and how it draws is going to be very important to his future.

– There was a brawl yesterday after the press conference for the Jorge Masvidal vs. Nate Diaz boxing match. They exchanged words and then after it was over, members of each men’s teams exchanged words and a brawl broke out. Diaz wasn’t there for the brawl. Diaz then did show up and saw Masvidal’s team and yelled at them, “Come down and get your f***ing asses whipped again.” But security kept anything from happening a second time. Earlier, Masvidal was shoved and some members of each camp started throwing punches. The two fight on 7/6 at the Honda Center in a 10-round boxing match.

– Mick Foley turns 59 today.

– Gabe Kidd said that he wants to wrestle Randy Orton at Wrestle Kingdom. I don’t expect that will be happening.

– The legendary International Vale Tudo promotion in Brazil, is returning with retro rules soon.  The promotion, which put Wanderlei Silva on the map, run by Sergio Batrelli, told MMA Fighting he’s looking for a show in September or October in Sao Paulo, Brazil. They are going back to the 90s rules, with no rounds, a 30-minute time limit for fights and head-butts, jumping kicks and stomps and soccer kicks would all be legal as it was in that era. IVC included early fights of Chuck Liddell, Dan Severn, and Renato Babalu Sobral. They announced Jorge Patino vs. Johil de Oliveira as one of the fights.

Billy Corgan says NWA has signed another TV deal

The NWA appears to have landed another TV contract.

Billy Corgan told TV Insider that he recently signed another deal but it has yet to be officially announced.

“I just signed another TV deal, which I haven’t announced yet. I saw someone in wrestling media wave off the NWA’s success, but I don’t know a lot of companies out there that have three television deals as an independent solely funded by me,” Corgan said.

Episodes of NWA Power currently air on the CW App. A reality series focused on Corgan’s running of the promotion titled “Adventures in Carnyland” premiered on the app today as well.

“We’re really fighting a lot of wars here not only to create a wrestling product that fans will like but also to beat the world’s perception that it can’t be done. That unless you have a billion dollars in your pocket you can’t manifest enough energy,” Corgan continued. “But what people don’t understand is I’m one of the only people in the world who understands how to take something literally from nothing and take it to the top of the mountain multiple times. I know it can be done with faith, dedication, and hard work. It will be interesting to see the behind-the-scenes stuff going on, which by the way is not work, but true and honest stuff that is happening. I insisted on real and organic storylines. It will be interesting to see if people perceive that as integrity or weakness on the part of the company. I think it’s a strength because we have nothing to hide.”

During a separate interview with Fightful, Corgan also addressed the controversial “cocaine spot” at NWA Samhain last October and The CW’s reaction to it. A report from Haus of Wrestling came out shortly after stating CW officials were not happy with what took place and it could negatively impact the NWA’s deal with the company.

“After the ‘cocaine spot’ where Sinister Minister and his hot minions were snorting sugar off a table in Cleveland, that story took a life of its own, ‘NWA is going to lose its CW deal, they’ve lost their CW deal..'” Corgan said. “About four days after the event, CW, I don’t want to say who but certainly one of the top people in CW called me and said, ‘What is this all about?’ And I said, ‘I don’t know because no one from your world has reached out to me.’ He says, ‘There’s no problem over here. We’re reading all these articles and we don’t understand what the issue is.’ And I said, ‘Okay, so just to be official about it, there’s no issue with what we did?’ They go, ‘No, we think it’s funny.’ So there’s no issue. It was a completely invented story by either a troll inside the company or a leaker or something.”

Our own Dave Meltzer addressed the issue later that week on Wrestling Observer Radio stating he’d had an email exchange with Corgan, who denied reports that the CW was upset with what happened at NWA Samhain.

The NWA is gearing up for the 2024 Crockett Cup on May 18 at The O.C Theater in Forney, Texas. Teams announced for the tournament include: Knox and Murdoch (Mike Knox and Trevor Murdoch), Blunt Force Trauma (Damage and Carnage) w/Aron Stevens, The Immortals (Kratos and Odinson), The Southern 6 (“Thrillbilly” Silas Mason, Kerry Morton and Alex Taylor) w/Ricky Morton, The Fixers (Wrecking Ball Legurski and Jay Bradley), Tim Storm and Jax Dane, The Country Gentlemen (AJ and KC Cazana) w/ Joe Cazana, and Daisy Kill and Talos. EC3 is also scheduled to defend his NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Sam Adonis on the show.

Former NWA Women’s Champion Kamille reportedly signs contract with AEW

The long wait to see where former NWA Women’s Champion Kamille will end up appears to be over as she is heading to AEW per a Monday report from Fightful.

Her NWA deal ran out on December 31st of 2023, making her a free agent to kick off 2024.

The 31-year-old recently answered a question on Twitter that she had been signed somewhere since February, later joking she thought the person was asking about autograph signings. Her last match was in November 2023 for a North Carolina indie promotion.

No other information was provided in terms of starting on TV, length of deal, or other promotions she spoke with.

A pro since 2017, she is best known for her multi-year run as NWA Women’s Champion, holding the title for more than 800 days from 2021 through 2023.

There had been some talk in January of her signing with WWE and then heading to NXT.

She has appeared on AEW TV once before in July 2021 to confront Leyla Hirsch ahead of their title match at that year’s NWA Empower.

‘Billy Corgan’s Adventures in Carnyland’ reality series to premiere this May

A premiere date has been set for The CW’s reality series on NWA owner and Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan.

It was announced via Deadline today that “Billy Corgan’s Adventures in Carnyland“ will premiere on Tuesday, May 14. The series is airing on The CW app and The CW’s website, not The CW television channel.

There will be eight episodes in the series, which covers Corgan’s life in pro wrestling, music, and documents his September 2023 wedding to wife Chloe Mendel.

Directed by Volk-Weis and Ian Roumain, the series pulls back the curtain on how the legendary frontman of alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins takes on the world. When he isn’t churning out albums and touring the world with his band, Corgan works as a wrestling promoter through his storied National Wrestling Alliance, which he intends to restore to its former glory. As if being a rock star navigating the demanding politics of running both a band (Pumpkinworld) and a group of eccentric wrestlers (Carnyland) isn’t tricky enough, he’s also a father of two — and he’s planning a wedding to his longtime partner, Chloe Mendel. Can he possibly keep all these balls in the air? Tune in to find out.

Corgan has owned the NWA since 2017. In addition to Corgan’s reality show, the NWA has a deal to air programming on The CW app. A skit involving Father James Mitchell from last October’s NWA Samhain event reportedly contributed to the NWA airing on The CW app instead of The CW broadcast channel.

“Rebuilding the historic NWA brand has been both an honor and challenge, and this show opens the doors wide so to speak. To reveal the glory and the grit needed to thrive in a winner-take-all sport,” Corgan told Deadline. “It’s not always pretty, but I’m proud of what we have accomplished thus far.”

NWA officially announces streaming deal with CW App

Billy Corgan hopes the NWA’s deal with The CW app helps his promotion “show there are other voices in professional wrestling.”

NWA programming has been available on the streaming service since February 6 but an official announcement regarding the deal was made today.

The NWA and CW also revealed on Wednesday that a reality show starring Corgan will debut on the app later this year. The unscripted show will focus on “Corgan’s life, family, role as President of NWA, and his ‘day job.'”

Corgan said in today’s release:

The CW has made a big commitment to sports, and they have an incredible top-tier streaming platform. The network’s audience represents a very wide swath of American culture—which wrestling has always been a key part of. This partnership gives us the opportunity to reach that audience more readily. We’re excited to get the chance to show there are other voices in professional wrestling. With NWA, there’s honesty, integrity, and a different level of swagger, because it’s coming from the underground. It’s similar to rock ‘n’ roll in this respect. With The CW behind us, we’re pulling NWA into the light where fans can appreciate its authenticity.

New episodes of NWA Powerrr are released every Tuesday on the app. Past seasons of the show are available as well.

Today’s press release reads:

LOS ANGELES, C.A. (News Release) — GRAMMY® Award-winning founder of The Smashing Pumpkins and National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) President Billy Corgan proudly announces an exclusive streaming deal for NWA with The CW. Under this newly minted all-encompassing partnership, multiple NWA programs will be streaming and on-demand via The CW platform and portal in the United States.

Democratizing access to action-packed wrestling from some of the sport’s biggest, boldest, and brightest personalities, all programming is notably available free of charge and without a subscription via The CW app. It represents a monumental power move for NWA. The partnership not only amplifies the brand’s presence throughout popular culture and the zeitgeist, but it also sets a precedent for wrestling, at large.

Flagship program NWA Powerrr is live on the platform now and features ‘Return to Robarts’ programming emanating from the historic Robarts Arena in Sarasota Florida. New episodes air weekly on Tuesdays with past seasons also available to stream. Additionally, the much-anticipated Paranoia Live Event on Powerrr is also now available on The CW. Shot on January 13, 2024 at Revolution Live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, the signature live event Paranoia features some of the league’s top stars and a myriad of thrilling high-octane matches. Next up, the massive signature live event Hard Times 2024 will premiere on the platform as part of future episodes of NWA Powerrr, streaming on both CWTV.com and the CW app.

Additionally, a brand new unscripted untitled series about Corgan’s life, family, role as President of NWA, and his “day job” will also debut on The CW later this year. Co-produced by Corgan’s own production company Lightning One Inc. and Nacelle Company, it offers an unprecedented vignette into every dimension of his world with unparalleled candor.

Corgan continues to deepen the storied mythos and legacy of NWA—one of the oldest and most prestigious professional wrestling brands in the world. He has carefully curated matches and sought-out exciting new talent, building a haven for future superstars to shine with attitude, integrity, power, and panache.

As such, NWA currently serves as a home to the likes of EC3, Matt Cardona, “Thrillbilly” Silas Mason, Trevor Murdoch, Thom Latimer, The Immortals (Odinson and Kratos), Blunt Force Trauma (Damage and Carnage), Aron Stevens, Austin Idol, The Insane Clown Posse’s Violent J, The Brothers of Funstruction Yabo and Ruffo, Colby Corino, Mims, Max the Impaler, “The Sinister Minister Father James Mitchell, Burchill, Bryan Idol, Natalia Markova, Kerry Morton, Alex Taylor, May Valentine, among others.

With more heavyweights, more drama, and the most bravado, Billy Corgan, The CW, and NWA will enthrall and thrill inside and outside of the ring throughout 2024 and beyond. Stay tuned.

NWA issues correction for where upcoming reality show will air

This story has been updated.

The next step in the relationship between the NWA and The CW will soon be taken with a rumored reality show set to truly become a reality.

In a Thursday podcast appearance, NWA announcer Joe Galli initially revealed that the aforementioned reality show will air on The CW network as opposed to The CW streaming service where new episodes of NWA Power will begin to air in February.

However, the NWA issued a correction Friday night that Galli had “misspoke” and that the “as-yet unnamed and unscripted show” would soon premiere on The CW streaming platform instead.

Galli also tweeted a nearly identical statement:

“I will let you know that our secondary show, which I think a lot of podcasts and people have already talked about which is basically a reality show…is going to be CW on their traditional network,” he initially said in the interview, later adding “that will be really interesting to help tie people in and that’s more of a decision from CW to try to get people to migrate over to the app.”

No start date, nor the number of episodes, have been indicated.

Based on past reports, it’s assumed to be a reality series based on the life of NWA owner and Smashing Pumpkins founder Billy Corgan which will include a focus on his recent wedding. It’s unknown how much of a presence the NWA will have on the show.

Neither the NWA nor The CW have formally announced a relationship between both parties which was reported to have frayed and cost NWA Power a spot on The CW network due to a cocaine skit/stunt during an October pay-per-view.

Eight older episodes of Power went up on The CW streaming application last year with an announcement last week that new weekly episodes were coming in February.

Galli also intimated that their 76th Anniversary pay-per-view would emanate from an East Coast-based city vs. St. Louis, Missouri, where the last few have taken place.

New NWA Power episodes coming to The CW streaming app

New episodes of NWA Power are coming to The CW’s streaming app starting on Tuesday, February 6th, according to the promotion.

It’s assumed the new episodes will align with NWA’s regular Tuesday release schedule on YouTube. A release time wasn’t announced.

It’s the latest development in the somewhat secretive arrangement between NWA and The CW which has yet to be fully announced after months of speculation as to the status.

Last fall after NWA owner Billy Corgan announced that he had signed two deals with a top-20 network, it was reported that The CW was that network. However, following a cocaine skit with James Mitchell during October’s NWA Samhain pay-per-view, it was reported that the deal was at risk of falling through. Shortly afterward, The CW signed a deal to air WWE NXT beginning in the fall of 2024.

In November 2023, eight NWA Power episodes from September and October were uploaded to The CW streaming app with no follow-up.

Corgan has yet to publicly announce a deal with The CW or to clarify what the existing arrangement is. A reality show based on his life and recent marriage were reportedly one of the two deals he signed but there has been no recent news on when the reality show will air or where.

NWA’s Blk Jeez recovering from gunshot suffered during attempted carjacking

NWA wrestler Blk Jeez’s planned return to the ring after a bout with blood cancer has been delayed due to an attempted carjacking & shooting on Thursday.

In a media release, the NWA stated Jeez (Darnell Kittrell) was approached by four masked men while in Philadelphia Thursday night. The men attempted to carjack Kittrell and during the events of the incident, Kittrell was shot in the hip and taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

From the release:

“Kittrell, who possesses a permit to carry a gun, used his legally registered firearm to defend himself and returned fire. The suspects fled the scene, and investigators are currently reviewing surveillance footage for leads.”

Kittrell was set to return at Saturday’s NWA Paranoia event in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In May 2023, his diagnosis of multiple myeloma (a form of blood cancer) was revealed in addition to a GoFundMe to assist him as he was also recovering from multiple back fractures.

He hasn’t wrestled since February 2023.

DragonKingKarl Classic Wrestling Show: 1984 & 1985

Celebrating the release of my new book, DragonKingKarl’s 1984-1985 Pro Wrestling Omnibus, this week’s DragonKingKarl Classic Wrestling Show looks back at these two massively important years in pro wrestling history.

Some highlights: Hulk Hogan wins the WWF World title, the WWF national expansion begins in earnest including the takeover of the WTBS time slot, the death of David Von Erich, Starrcade 1984 & 1985, massive Thanksgiving Day shows, Pro Wrestling USA, the injury of Mike Von Erich, WWF WrestleMania I, Mr. T, the John Stossel slap on 20/20, and much more.

It’s a massive two year period in pro wrestling so let’s discuss it.

Eight episodes of NWA Power have been added to The CW’s app.

The network added the episodes of NWA’s flagship show on Tuesday. They begin with the September 5 episode and runs through October 24.

NWA owner Billy Corgan revealed back in October that the company had signed two television deals with a “top 20 network”. It was reported the network in question was The CW, with one deal being for Power and the other being for a reality show on Billy Corgan’s life, including his marriage that took place back in September.

However, it was later reported that the deals were in trouble following an angle that took place at NWA Samhain pay-per-view in which James Mitchell snorted what appeared to be cocaine while observing a match. Corgan reportedly pushed for the segment to air on the show.

It was announced earlier this month that The CW had agreed to a new television deal with WWE’s NXT program, which will leave the USA Network in the fall of 2024.

Report: NWA expected to make roster, production cuts

Update:

NWA owner Billy Corgan is refuting claims made in the below report. When asked if cost-cutting measures will go into effect at the next tapings, Corgan responded, “Not at all. Not even close. Total fabrication.”

“A one-day shoot for NWA can currently run into 6 figures,” Corgan added.

The NWA is reportedly looking to reduce costs.

Haus of Wrestling is reporting that roster cuts are likely to take place following the company’s TV tapings in January. Production cuts and other cost-saving measures are expected soon as well.

The cuts are said to be a result of NWA owner Billy Corgan having bankrolled the promotion for years with little to no sponsorship money coming in. It is said that Corgan has spent millions on Power as well as the NWA reality series and cuts are needed for the company to continue operating at its current level.

This weekend’s NWA tapings in Sarasota, Florida will be running with “a bare-bones crew” with primarily only contracted talent participating. Mike Knox and Violent J are the only wrestlers not under contract expected at the shows. However, Violent J flies himself in and works for free.

Announced matches for this weekend include EC3 defending the NWA World title against Jax Dane, and Kenzie Paige defending the NWA World Women’s title against Samantha Starr.

Regarding how many wrestlers are expected to be released from the promotion, Nick Hausman wrote, “It was stressed that all contracted talent was under review and their benefits to the company were being weighed.” He continued to write that some talent without formal deals will likely just not be contacted for future bookings.

The news follows last month’s report that talent in the promotion had grown frustrated with Corgan.

Other cost-cutting measures are said to include no longer flying talent out the day before tapings, as the NWA pays for hotel accommodations. Hair and makeup budgets are expected to be cut in half as well.

The NWA announced in late August that it was making several upgrades to its production. These were reportedly made in anticipation of the television deal with The CW. However, CW officials were said to be upset by the James Mitchell “cocaine spot” at NWA Samhain. It is now believed that NWA content will only air on the CW app and not on television.

Report: NWA talent growing frustrated with Billy Corgan

There is reportedly a growing sense of frustration within the NWA regarding Billy Corgan.

Last month, Corgan revealed that the promotion would soon announce a television deal with a “top 20 network,” which was later reported to be The CW Network. Then at NWA Samhain on October 28, a controversial segment aired that saw Father James Mitchell appear to be doing cocaine. The CW was said to be inundated with social media posts regarding the segment, upsetting network executives and possibly negatively impacting the NWA’s deal.

WWE announced yesterday that NXT will be moving to the CW Network in October 2024 and Haus of Wrestling is reporting that the NWA Samhain incident led to accelerated talks between The CW and WWE.

Nick Hausman wrote:

One source we spoke with at WWE gave us the impression that talks with The CW accelerated following the incident. They went on to say, “No segment ever done in wrestling has had that severe of consequences to the promotion than the Samhain Coke Spot.”

Corgan is said to have pushed for the segment to air on the pay-per-view.

Some members of the NWA roster are said to be growing frustrated with Corgan’s leadership in the wake of the news. Some other reported frustrations stem from Corgan being unavailable between tapings to discuss ideas, talent finding out what they are doing at tapings as little as an hour beforehand, and “tests” Corgan is said to put talent through to test their loyalty.

Additionally, several wrestlers on the NWA roster are under the age of 25 and it is said Corgan does not want these wrestlers to lose on shows run by other promotions, such as AEW. Older wrestlers under contract to the NWA are not believed to be under the same restrictions.

Hausman reached out to NWA World Heavyweight Champion EC3 regarding the above-mentioned issues. He noted that he has not heard the same complaints from members of the NWA roster.

EC3 offered the following response:

1) no apology necessary (Hausman had apologized for contacting him later than planned)

2) This has never been communicated to me via talent or otherwise, and I communicate with all. A truly professional wrestler should be prepared for anything at anytime. They should be able to perform based on whatever opportunity is provided. “Plans in advance” OFTEN change.
There isn’t one wrestling company that this isn’t the case for.

While sometimes knowing in advance can be beneficial, perhaps in envisioning long form character arc and story told, a lot of the best moments and actions come when capable talent are put on the spot and trust their skills and intuition in the moments.

The day of the show provides AMPLE time if a talent requires to verbatim script a promo or “put together a match.” Neither should take long especially if/when a talent is confident in character, work, and ability.

Personally, I prefer to have a direction, then allowed the open canvas to create how I achieve that direction. I know WHO I AM and WHERE I WANT TO GO. I think others should trust themselves to do the same. It’s how good stories are told.

EX: Tonight on NWA POWERRR (6:05) I have a promo segment that I was informed of day of the show. I was given the destination that is taking us. I conversed with the talent involved on their goals and mission and end business for the segment. Then I had 5 hours till it was filmed. I was pleased with how it turned out.

By being present in the moment, you are always prepared for anything.

Continued in a moment have to do something

3) infrastructure is great and required on all facets of a growing business. Infrastructure is more imperative on a BUSINESS END than a CREATIVE END.

True creativity is a collaboration, and talents should be absolutely thankful they have freedom to explore as creatives because before they know it, they will work their asses off to one day maybe get an opportunity to BE A MUTE.

I don’t know what facets of growth are being held up that we would require a bakers dozens of low level Hollywood writers who have never seen wrestling, never been in a fight for anything, or never had an experience in athletic victory/defeat.

If it’s about promotional material or who is “being pushed” it’s not rocket science on who that is, but it’s also a HUGE OPPORTUNITY for a talent who might not be, to put themselves out there, show why they are special, and capture that. Simply by utilizing the team we have, from socials, to peers, a talent can send a promo to the team, get it aired. A talent can try an idea they have, film it, it can air. A talent can EASILY (and this is rare) TALK TO THE BOSS and pitch ideas.

I watched our boss sit and listen to a bunch of promos from extras (who don’t really have a shot), watch a bunch of practice matches from extras (who aren’t TV ready) and offer that to all.

Just because a talent is there, and semi being utilized, doesn’t mean anything is handed. Entitlement and complacency will have them, what, Anonymously bitching to the internet?

Post a seminar I did, I spent hours discussing non contracted talents with WPC so we can provide them legitimate feedback, again, even if they aren’t close to TV ready.

Why? Because we love this and share the same ideals that people deserve opportunity and the truth. I don’t think people understand the rarity of a boss who would put that time in. Took me a long time to find one.

Again, back to creative, I’d prefer one’s overall vision accompanied by a handful of trusted, experienced, smart “wrestling people” to see it through.

Again though, hindsight 20/20 sometimes there can be too much freedom and people do dumb things.

I hope that answer was sufficient.

4) I know only my business, and my business alone as far as contracts and older talent etc. I’m very happy with mine as I get to represent and grow the brand, while also challenge myself with other creative endeavors in wrestling and beyond. While NWA is my home, I can spread our, and my own, brand on multiple fronts.

This industry is a constant test. Being “frustrated by tests” is, just, something I’d never say or complain about (to the internet.) If I am challenged to do something, in lieu of frustrated complaining, I’d channel that frustration to take whatever test I’ve been given, and get better by accepting the challenge. Even if it’s just a “F-U” to the person who put me through it.

It’s not “gaining approval.” It’s showing competency and will. It’s showing you want it. It’s showing you have value. It’s showing you’re worth investing in.

If that’s too much, don’t come. I have countless people reaching out to me daily trying to get in.

And also, as I’ve said to the locker room before, I am ALWAYS AVAILABLE if anyone ever wants to or needs to have a conversation. I don’t know if I’ll be right, but I will give my best effort and opinion in complete confidence.
