While appearing on Cody Rhodes’ “What Do You Wanna Talk About?” podcast, The Undertaker detailed the vision he has for Lucha Libre AAA.
Undertaker has become a significant behind-the-scenes player in AAA since WWE acquired the lucha libre promotion in 2025. His role includes helping out in creative. In that position, Undertaker wants to preserve the legacy AAA has while also adding in elements like better storytelling and production values.
âHelping out with creative and doing some stuff with AAA, I’m trying to — my vision is to almost take a step back to step forward. I’m really high on the physicality and the actual in-ring stuff and things making sense, which is kind of difficult from where I’ve come from and then working with AAA,” Undertaker said
“The lucha libre legacy is incredible, right? With the mask and then there’s so many [legacy wrestlers], you know, there’s this guy who then has a son who has a son. So all these legacies and all this culture is in there. What we’re trying to do is honor that, but give more production value to the product and help story tell a little better. I think that’s the biggest thing.”
Undertaker praised the talent in AAA and the fandom the promotion already has. Though elements of the WWE product will be melded in, Undertaker wants AAA to exist as an alternative.
“Talking about incredible athletes and the things that they can do is, it’s amazing,” Undertaker said. “And the following they have is amazing. So if I can take the best of lucha libre and the best of what I know and I can mold them together, I think we’re going to have something that’s really, really special down there.
“But that’s the key. I’m not trying to make AAA Lucha Libre, I’m not trying to make it Raw or SmackDown WWE. I’m taking some elements of that, adding it to what they already do, and try and make a product that everyone will want to see. And it’s an alternative. It’s just like the other company. Raw, SmackDown, all these other, TNA, just to give people a variety and different things to enjoy about wrestling.â
AAA began a new TV deal with Fox Latin America this month. The promotion will be broadcast on Fox in Mexico, Central America, and South America (except Brazil), with WWE streaming the TV show on YouTube and Facebook outside of those areas.
Following his series of appearances on AAA shows, former WWE Raw Tag Team Champion and former GHC Tag Team Champion Omos has now been confirmed for the AAA premiere episode of Fox.
AAA will premiere on Fox on Saturday in several Latin American countries including Mexico, Central America, and South America (outside of Brazil). AAA announced Omos’ appearance via social media on Thursday.
Omos was last seen in AAA in December for Guerra de Titanes where he attacked Dragon Lee and aligned himself with El Hijo del Vikingo and Dorian Roldan. In the last year plus, Omos has appeared in Pro Wrestling NOAH and AAA, but has yet to return to WWE despite signing a new contract.

AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Flammer vs. Lady Shani in a non-title match
Nino Hamburguesa, La Parka & Mr. Iguana vs. Abismo Negro Jr., Taurus & Histeria

A couple of new matches have been added to this weekend’s Lucha Libre AAA debut on Fox Latin America.
The new media rights deal will see AAA air on Fox in Mexico, Central America, and South America (outside of Brazil). It begins this Saturday with an episode from Juan de la Barrera Gymnasium in Mexico City. Though the show will not be on Fox in the United States, it will be broadcast live on both YouTube and Facebook for viewers outside Mexico.
WWE had already confirmed that a number one contender’s match between El Hijo del Vikingo and El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) would be taking place. Two other matches are now listed for the show as well, including AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Flammer competing in non-title action.

Non-title match: AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Flammer vs. Lady Shani
Six-man tag match: Nino Hamburguesa, La Parka & Mr. Iguana vs. Abismo Negro Jr., Taurus & Histeria
The AAA-Fox Latin America partnership was announced in November 2025, with the deal being reached following WWE’s acquisition of the lucha libre company. The Undertaker and Jeremy Borash are among those who have become significant behind-the-scenes players in AAA now that the promotion is owned by WWE.
To get her spot in Lucha Libre AAA, Chelsea Green reached out to The Undertaker and “begged” him to let her be part of the promotion.
Undertaker has become one of the most important behind-the-scenes figures in AAA since WWE acquired the company. He and Jeremy Borash are involved with booking AAA, and Green contacted both of them asking to be featured. It resulted in Green and Ethan Page both being brought to Mexico and winning the AAA Mixed Tag Team titles.
âWhen I first got the call to go to AAA, it’s because I begged Undertaker. Like every single show that I’m on, I begged the producers,” Green joked while appearing on Notsam Wrestling. “When I just wrestled Sol Ruca for the United States Women’s title, I messaged Shawn Michaels and Johnny Russo and asked for that match. I didn’t ask for Sol, but I asked for a match. Yeah, I’m out here just begging on my hands and knees, ‘Please, someone let me wrestle.’
“So, I messaged Undertaker. First, I messaged Anthony Luke — who is Maxxine’s husband now — I messaged him. I asked for Undertaker’s number. He wouldn’t give it to me, so he gave me Michelle McCool’s. I messaged Michelle McCool. Michelle McCool gave me Undertaker’s number. Then I messaged Undertaker and JB and I was like, ‘Please, I want to go to Mexico. I want to wrestle. I want to do whatever I can.’ He was like, ‘All right, say less.’ He booked Ethan and I together. I didn’t think that was going to be the way — I just wanted to go. I didn’t care how I went.”
Green said she loves holding the Mixed Tag Team titles because it’s a championship that, at one point, she couldn’t imagine would be part of WWE. She wants to showcase the championship and is sure to bring it to all of her media appearances.
âif I’m in AAA, I want to make sure that the WWE audience watches AAA as well,” Green said. “So I’ve done everything I could in my power to make sure that this title is seen everywhere I go.”
As a WWE main roster wrestler, Green hopes that her presence in AAA helps bring some more exposure to the other talent in the promotion.
âThose girls are real fighters, man. They are no joke. They’re incredibly talented,” Green said about the AAA women’s division. “And I just hope that now that AAA is on Fox [in Mexico] and that I am there hopefully shining a new light on it, maybe those luchadoras and those luchadors will get, you know — they’ll make even more money and they’ll get even more eyes on them and whatever.â
Green had been a double champion before dropping the WWE Women’s United States Championship to Giulia on SmackDown last Friday. She and Page still hold the AAA Mixed Tag Team titles — and Page is the men’s North American Champion in NXT.
A latest update has emerged featuring details on AAA Rey De Reyes’ next show date, location, venue, and more.

As of now, no match card has been announced or finalized for the event.
The acquisition is a joint venture with Filip, a Mexican sports and entertainment holding company. Since then, the two promotions have produced multiple cross-promotional events. Over the past few months, stars from both companies have appeared on each other’s shows, gaining significant visibility.
While Mr. Iguana has become a breakout favorite among WWE fans, El Grande Americano and Dominik Mysterio are currently two of the most talked-about stars in Lucha Libre AAA.
WWE has secured a new media rights deal for Lucha Libre AAA.
It was announced today that, beginning in 2026, AAA will now be broadcast on Fox in Mexico, Central America, and South America (except Brazil). AAA content — including PLEs like Triplemania — will air across a variety of Fox platforms including the Fox channel on Tubi, the Fox pay TV channel, and the SVOD platform Fox One.
“Fox Corporation continues to strengthen its presence in Mexico with the addition of leading Mexican lucha libre promotion AAA to its portfolio of sports content,” a press release said. “With this new asset, Fox expands its offering and reaffirms its commitment to providing Mexican audiences with the best national and international sports programming.”
WWE acquired AAA earlier this year, putting one of the two biggest Mexican wrestling promotions under the WWE umbrella. There has been no word on a potential United States broadcast deal for AAA as of now. WWE has streamed select AAA events on YouTube over the past several months.
The press release announcing the Fox Mexico deal includes a quote from Rey Mysterio, who hyped that AAA’s future is now brighter than ever.
âAAA has been part of my roots since day one and to see it reach new audiences on Fox in Mexico fills me with pride and excitement,” Mysterio said. “Lucha Libre is part of our culture and bringing these stories to a broader audience is just the beginning — the future of AAA is brighter than ever.â
An exact start date for the deal has not been announced yet, nor have further details on which day of the week AAA will be airing.
Fans worldwide will be able to watch this Saturday’s Lucha Libre AAA event live on YouTube.
AAA has announced that its November 22 show from Mexico City will stream on its YouTube channel as well as WWE’s channel for free. A number of WWE main roster and NXT wrestlers are featured on the card, including AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio, El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser), and Dragon Lee being in the top match. It’s a tag match pitting Dominik & Americano against Dragon Lee & El Hijo del Vikingo.
The start time for the YouTube broadcast is 10:15 p.m. Eastern. It’ll be airing against the end of AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view, but most of Full Gear will be unopposed from WWE-related competition.

Randy Orton shared photos on Instagram of his family in Belize on a recent vacation celebrating Orton and his wife Kimâs 10-year anniversary:
Just back from vacation with family and friends. As a father nothing better than seeing my family smile. As a husband nothing better than seeing my wife happy. Thank you for coming with me to Belize to celebrate our 10 year anniversary my love.
At a Lucha Libre AAA taping in Mexico on November 28, The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) will challenge Psycho Clown & Pagano for the AAA Tag Team titles.
TKO representatives Ari Emanuel, Mark Shapiro, and Dana White rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange today to celebrate TKOâs new partnership with Polymarket for UFC and Zuffa Boxing events.
While speaking with Adventure Gamers, MVP was asked how different it is working with Tony Khan compared to Vince McMahon and Paul âTriple Hâ Levesque:
Itâs very different because Tony Khan is a completely different human being, with a completely different personality. Heâs just a nice guy and a good person. Iâve never had any kind of a relationship with Triple H. Vince I was able to work with and with Vince, Vince knows exactly what he wants, how he wants to do it, and if you can present something that is better, sometimes Vince will listen, but when Vince has a vision, thatâs it. You go with it. Thereâs no second guessing it. Tony Khan is a lot more interactive and will take in a lot more ideas and heâs more willing to be pliable when it comes to his vision and how he wants to present it and what heâs willing to do to add to it or to change it. Heâs just a nice guy. Itâs funny, like his energy level. Heâs always happy and Iâve never seen him be mean to somebody. Itâs a much different environment where WWE was very corporate, very tight laced, for some people even uncomfortable and theyâre made to feel like theyâre walking on eggshells and people are scared of getting fired. That environment doesnât exist in AEW. Itâs way more relaxed. No oneâs walking on eggshells. The boss has time for everybody. And itâs super fun. No stress.
Agreeing with a statement Bret Hart had made calling Triple H a âphony,â MVP told Adventure Gamers:
Man, I agree with Brettâs assertion. Iâve said before, I call [Triple H] a coward and a liar. Letâs put it like this. If you really want to, you can go to YouTube and you can look up the interviews of various wrestlers through the years of what their opinion is of the man. Interviews of guys that were his friends, what they had to say about the guy. I can think of more guys that dislike him than I can think of guys that do like him. And people say MVPâs salty or bitter. Like, no, I have personal issues with the dude, stemming from professional stuff, but just the things that he does, how he carries himself, I just donât have respect for the guy. The newer generation, they donât know that guy yet. So the one of those that came up underneath him in NXT, they think heâs brilliant and a lot of them should for the hand heâs had in their career. But the guys that had to work with him back in the day will tell you a different story almost overwhelmingly. And so itâs not just me saying it. Thereâs guys who are way up the totem pole than me that are telling you that this guyâs no bueno.
We are just under 3 months out. I am still in a considerable amount of pain especially in mornings. I am 56 yrs old and it is taking a lot longer for recovery guys. The hardest thing for me at this moment, is getting up from a chair, and stepping down a step with right especially. My legs have always been pretty thin and cannot wait to actually strengthen them more on e I am able. I am on track for my age and then some and I would assume its because I have a strong work ethic and an athlete. Prob late Feb, early March for the greatest comeback of anyone in their 50’s.
Iâm going to show up to work and see what is asked to do and go do it. What Iâd like to see from TNA, and this is just my controversial take, but they are in a position where they can be different. They donât have to follow the formula. I think one of the coolest things about TNA was the six-sided ring, which was the X-Division. What Iâm trying to say is I want TNA to go back to that experimental phase where weâre just trying these wacky ideas. At the end of the day, you canât argue with the business model right now. Sold-out shows, potential network deals, and things like that. I also remember a time where Iâd look out at TNA and see maybe a couple hundred people. At Bound for Glory, I looked out and saw a couple of thousands.Â
Itâs a beautiful thing, but whatever TNA is doing, I think they are doing things right. They have their eyes on young talent. They have tryouts coming up. Itâs a great mixture of these talented veterans, then like the middle child are trying to figure out their journey and [there are] brand-new people coming in. Itâs a beautiful locker room, a great team to work with. Production just keeps getting better and better with each show. There is a lot of experimentation going on. I think at Bound for Glory we had our first 4K camera for the entrance, so there were some unbelievable shots coming out. Iâm just really excited, but if you asked me, selfishly Iâd just like to see them experiment more with wild concept matches because we are in a position I feel we can do it. I think that would attract even more wrestling fans toward our product.
