Natalya is ‘blown away’ by Undertaker & Jeremy Borash’s work in AAA

Natalya recently revealed her reaction to The Undertaker & Jeremy Borash’s AAA work.

Ever since WWE acquired AAA last year, 2025, the promotion has seen a significant rise in mainstream wrestling as well as heaps of compliments on its booking.

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker is one of the main heads behind AAA’s booking and creative. Recently, fans and critics have heaped praise on the legend for his booking and content direction in AAA. Alongside The Undertaker, WWE’s Vice President of Content and Development, Jeremy Borash, is also one of the names responsible for AAA’s current rise.

Recently speaking on The Busted Open Radio, Natalya heaped praise and exclaimed how she was “blown away” by their work in AAA.

I will say that [The Undertaker]Taker and Jeremy Borash – Jeremy Borash, he works alongside Taker at AAA. A lot of people know JB as being somebody that puts together the most amazing video packages in WWE. He puts together, if you see some of the best video packages in the company, usually JB is behind a lot of them,” she said.

And so to see what Taker, who by the way – Taker is not known for being a luchador. When you see what Undertaker has built in just the last six months of booking at AAA alongside Jeremy Borash and, of course, the people that had been in place in Triple A that work with them. Taker is very, very collaborative.

I’m just blown away. Like, I think that Taker has really stepped into this new role and he is proving why his influence past the ring may be one of his greatest accomplishments,” she added.

AAA recently hosted the Noches de Los Grandes event, which was headlined by the highly acclaimed El Grande Americano mask vs. mask match.

Kane ‘really proud’ of Undertaker’s AAA booking success

Kane is “really proud” of the success his kayfabe brother is having in Lucha Libre AAA creative.

Since WWE’s acquisition of AAA, Undertaker has become an important figure behind the scenes in helping to book the lucha libre promotion. AAA reached the highest point of its WWE era so far last weekend, with the El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) vs. Original El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) mask match receiving praise as one of the best things to happen in pro wrestling all year.

On Mostly Sports with Mark Titus and Brandon Walker today, Kane reacted to how well Undertaker and AAA are doing.

“Man, it’s amazing. I’m so proud of him. He’s running AAA, which WWE bought, a Mexican promotion, and it’s super hot. I think it just shows how talented he is,” Kane said. “He is the only person that could have made The Undertaker believable. Anybody else, they could have never pulled that. Well, his ability in wrestling transcends that even. Now he’s booking and running a company. As you said, hottest match of the year. The promotion is super hot. And I’m just really proud of what he’s doing.”

While Undertaker has stayed around pro wrestling after the conclusion of his in-ring career, Kane — real name Glenn Jacobs — entered politics and is currently serving his final term as mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.

Kaiser defeated Gable in the mask match at Noche de Los Grandes and will now keep the Americano gimmick moving forward. AAA has Triplemania, traditionally its biggest show of the year, coming up on September 11 and 13 with the respective nights being held in Las Vegas and Mexico City.

Undertaker comments on AAA Noche de Los Grandes —

Following Saturday’s event, Undertaker sent out a tweet thanking everyone who watched Noche de Los Grandes and made the atmosphere electric.

“The atmosphere was electric. The world was watching. History was made,” his X account posted. “To all those in attendance in Monterrey and for everyone who watched #AAANocheDeLosGrandes wherever you did…thank you for making it a truly epic night for @luchalibreaaa!”

Chad Gable, The Undertaker, more comment on AAA Noche de Los Grandes

Several people have commented on last night’s El Grande Americano mask vs. mask match at Arena Monterrey.

El Grande Americano, the Ludwig Kaiser version, defeated the original El Grande Americano at AAA Noche de los Grandes on Saturday night. The original Americano then unmasked to reveal himself as Chad Gable.

Since the end of last night’s show, several people have been commenting online about it.

Gable wrote:

“Tonight the mask died.
And suddenly I feel more ALIVE than ever.”

An hour later, Gable posted to Instagram again, this time captioning his post with:

“In lucha libre, some moments live forever.
Tonight was one of them.”

The Undertaker wrote:

“An incredible battle to become the one and the only.”

Dave Meltzer wrote:

“If you haven’t watched the Chad Gable vs. Kaiser match, you really should stop whatever you are doing and watch it now. One of the great match presentations of all-time.”

Bryan Alvarez wrote to his subscribers on X:

This mask match presentation is incredible

“Kaiser was so massively over and in storyline it was his night. But in real life, this was really Gable’s night to shine.

“Crowd chanted, “THANK YOU GABLE”, he vowed to return to AAA someday, and presented his mask to Kaiser

Chad gave a great speech after the match before unmasking, saying he would always be the original El Grande, but after tonight, Kaiser was the ONLY El Grande. His whole family was in the ring with him. He then unmasked, gave his name and bio and introduced his family.

Marisela Pena called the event a “magical night,” writing:

“A MAGICAL night, the NIGHT OF THE GREAT ONES
Thanks to all the fans who filled Arena Monterrey and to the fans from all over the World who followed the broadcast on @somos_FOX, YouTube and Facebook”

The Undertaker was ‘genuinely moved’ by support for R-Truth after WWE release in 2025

The Undertaker addressed the overwhelming reaction to R-Truth’s WWE release in 2025.

During his appearance on Six Feet Under with The Undertaker, R-Truth’s WWE exit in 2025 was discussed. Truth revealed how his colleagues, production and camera crew had a united front backstage to speak up on his behalf, and how appreciative he is of their gesture.

“Like, my peers at work, the ring crew, the camera crew, the crew in the truck, every part of that machine that makes it work spoke up, again, for me. We always ask, are we worthy? And it brings such joy it almost makes me wanna cry, because it’s like, to feel that kind of love is like, I want everybody to feel that at some point.”

The Undertaker stated that the backstage reaction to his release demonstrated the impact he had on the locker room, and had high praise for the wrestling veteran.

“You know what that says? It says you did it right. Because in our industry, to have your colleagues put themselves out there where they could (be) in a position where they could be reprimanded. It could come back a little bit. That means you touched a lot of people’s lives.”

“And what you’ve done, you’ve done it the right way man. It was incredible. For an old salty guy like me who’s been around and seen so much, I was genuinely moved, to like ‘Dang, this guy has made an impression in people’s lives.’ And when you can do that with your colleagues and the people that surround us, our production, like you said the production crew. That just says a whole lot about the human being right there.”

“And if nothing else ever great happened in your career, having that, having your fan base go to bat for you, and your colleagues. Good on you brother, that’s awesome.”

R-Truth announced his WWE release on June 1, 2025 ending his 17 year run with the company. However, the fans clamored for his return which led to his comeback at Money in the Bank a week later.

On the March 20 edition of SmackDown this year, Truth and Damian Priest defeated The MFTs to become the WWE Tag Team Champions.

La Catalina talks working with The Undertaker in AAA: ‘He’s scary’

La Catalina has opened up about her experience working with The Undertaker in AAA in Mexico.

On April 11, 2026, fans saw La Catalina make her much-awaited AAA debut, where she confronted the Reina de Reinas Champion, Lady Flammer.

Now, almost a month after her debut, La Catalina appeared for an interview with Denise Salcedo, where she reflected on working with The Undertaker.

Then, we have The Undertaker. He’s scary, seriously. For me, when I was in front of The Undertaker, and he starts to talk, he’s so tall, and I’m like, ‘Okay, what do I need to do? Whatever you want, Undertaker.’ It is a dream too because I never [thought] that The Undertaker [was] going to be my boss in the future, [it doesn’t feel real],” she said.

The Undertaker is a WWE Hall of Famer and currently responsible for booking the Lucha Libre AAA shows.

La Catalina also highlights working with Jeremy Borash

In the same interview, the former CMLL wrestler also opened up about working with Jeremy Borash in WWE/AAA.

I think Jeremy [Borash] is the best. He believed in me. He is a good person, and I love Jeremy. All the time, [I’ll say], Hey Jeremy, I wanted this. ‘Okay, we’ll do that.’ Hey Jeremy, I need this. ‘Okay.’ I love it because I feel so good. I feel more confident; I like it. All the time he asks me about who is La Catalina, what I want for La Catalina, and when I say, hey, I want this, it’s ’Okay, we’re going to work on that.’ I love it. Jeremy is one of the [people] that I really love in AAA.”

After spending weeks on the roster, she is set to make her in-ring debut on the upcoming episode of AAA on Fox on May 9, 2026.

Shawn Michaels reveals reason for The Undertaker’s WWE LFG absence

The Undertaker and Michelle McCool were replaced in WWE Legends & Future Greats’ third season by Kevin Owens and Natalya.

On the first episode of the season that recently aired, Shawn Michaels implied that Undertaker’s Lucha Libre AAA’s duties contributed to his absence from LFG.

The show revolves around Performance Center recruits working their way up to NXT and the main roster someday. The Undertaker served as head coach in the first two seasons, and mentored Shiloh Hill and Tyra Mae Steele. Hill transitioned to NXT in December 2025, however, Steele was among the few names released by WWE last weekend.

Owens eagerly took on the role amidst neck surgery recovery and cited that he was ‘losing his mind’ not being able to compete in the ring. His association with LFG was something he looked forward to.

He was set to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania last year but announced imminent neck surgery that omitted his participation. In July he underwent subsequent surgery. Owens was spotted training at the Performance Center towards the end of 2025 but there has been no update on his condition to return as an active competitor on the roster.

Undertaker became a major contributor to Lucha Libre AAA wrestling since WWE acquired the promotion in 2025. He has been instrumental in booking shows, mentoring talents and creative directions.

During the episode, Michaels also addressed a format change on competition for contracts. Going forward, talents from LFG could be called up to NXT which enables them with an ease in transition.

Ric Flair pitches WWE’s next creative head after Triple H

Appearing on the latest episode of The Ariel Helwani Show, Ric Flair pitched The Undertaker taking over WWE’s creative head role after Triple H.

Speaking with Ariel Helwani about The Undertaker’s career and his current work as a booker for AAA in Mexico. Helwani asked Flair about his thoughts on it. The 16-time World Champion addressed the current situation and pitched The Undertaker taking over Triple H’s role in WWE if he is ever let go by the promotion.

“If they let go Hunter [Triple H] and Taker [The Undertaker] is physically able to do it, he should be the next head of creative.”

However, when asked if Flair believes Triple H should leave WWE, he responded, “No, no, no. I’m saying if something happens with Hunter, because, you know, he has some very serious health issues. You know that, right? Nothing’s guaranteed.”

In the same appearance, he also opened up about his relationship with Triple H. “Well, it’s good, I mean, we exchange pleasantries, but here’s the deal with Triple H. He did do much for me. He did so much for me after [Eric] Bischoff destroyed me. And when he brought me into the company, which he did, I think more than Vince [McMahon] did, we did Evolution, which restored my confidence because Bischoff had completely killed me. So, I can’t get mad at him. Our relationship is not the same, but he has a lot on his plate. Running the WWE and being in charge of this and that, constantly being scrutinized.”

Triple H and Flair were once part of the villainous stable Evolution alongside Randy Orton and Batista.

The Undertaker on Bray Wyatt: ‘He had that aura, that otherworldly type character’

Once WWE WrestleMania rivals, The Undertaker has nothing but positive words to say about Bray Wyatt.

Once known as one of the most promising and creative wrestlers in the industry, Bray Wyatt passed away in August 2023 at just the age of 36, while still an active member of the roster.

Wyatt left behind a rich legacy, which recently received heaps of praise from The Undertaker. In an interview on Nightcap, The Undertaker praised Wyatt’s “aura” and character while speaking about wrestlers that reminded him of his character.

No. Not really. Bray Wyatt was coming along before his unfortunate demise. He had that aura, that otherworldly type character. Obviously, it’s a shame what happened with Bray because I think he had only begun to scratch the surface of how great he was gonna be,” he said.

One of Wyatt’s last appearances in WWE was back on a January 2023 episode of RAW, where he and The Undertaker joined forces to take down LA Knight.

Shawn Michaels praises Undertaker’s AAA work

Shawn Michaels thinks The Undertaker is doing a “fantastic” job behind the scenes in Lucha Libre AAA.

After helping to define WWE in the ring from the 1990s-2010s, Michaels and Undertaker are both now important figures behind the scenes. Michaels is in charge of WWE NXT, while Undertaker is a big part of the AAA creative team. Michaels sees the irony in his former undead rival being so heavily involved in lucha libre, but he’s happy to see Undertaker giving back to the industry.

We joke about that quite a bit,” Michaels told Adrian Hernandez. “Here is this unbelievably stoic figure in his WWE career, and he’s out there with the luchadores and everything else going 100 miles an hour and stuff. But, again, so poetic. He’s doing a fantastic job, and that’s no surprise. He’s the man in so many ways. He’s incredibly bright and, of course, once he started coming around the Performance Center and jumping into [WWE] LFG, much like myself, that love, that itch comes back and it makes you want to be able to give back.

“So he’s, no surprise, doing a fantastic job with AAA. But, no, it is sort of ironic that of all people, the man who was The Undertaker, out there having the lucha libre style being his trademark going forward in his career.”

A new Peacock documentary, titled “The Heartbreak Kid: Becoming Shawn Michaels,” premiered today. It tells the story of Michaels’ wrestling stardom, his battles with addiction, and how he overcame them to get where he’s at now — serving as WWE’s Senior Vice President of Talent Development, Creative. Undertaker was among those interviewed for the documentary.

John Cena set for podcast appearance at WWE World

Another appearance has been added to John Cena’s WWE WrestleMania 42 weekend schedule.

It was announced earlier this week that Cena, following his retirement from the ring in December 2025, will serve as the host of WrestleMania 42. During his time in Las Vegas, Cena will also sit down with The Undertaker for a live podcast recording. They’ll record an episode of Undertaker’s Six Feet Under podcast at the WWE World convention on Saturday, April 18 — which is the same day as night one of WrestleMania.

“Two icons. One stage. LIVE. John Cena joins The Undertaker for a live recording of Six Feet Under at WWE World,” it was announced. “No script. No filters. Just conversation you won’t hear anywhere else.”

WWE and Fanatics have partnered together for WWE World every year since 2024, with the convention replacing WWE Axxess as the company’s WrestleMania weekend fan event.

Six Feet Under is hosted by Undertaker and his wife Michelle McCool, who became the new co-host of the show in 2025 after it joined the WWE & Fanatics podcast network.

Cena is still under contract with WWE as an ambassador in his post-wrestling career. Though he’ll still be making some appearances, Cena has said that he will never wear his signature jorts or other wrestling gear again. He’ll instead opt for more formal attire like suits.

WrestleMania 42 is being held at Allegiant Stadium in Vegas on April 18-19. The stadium also hosted last year’s show, where Cena had his final WrestleMania match against Cody Rhodes.

The last time Cena and Undertaker ever faced off was a quick bout at WrestleMania 34 in 2018.

Brock Lesnar reflects on breaking Undertaker’s WWE WrestleMania streak

Brock Lesnar had mixed emotions when he broke The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak in 2014.

At WrestleMania 30, Lesnar defeated Undertaker to end his Mania streak after 21 straight victories. It was a controversial decision and remains one of the biggest moments in WWE history. Lesnar reflected on the night during an appearance on Barstool Sports’ Spittin Chiclets podcast.

“For me, guys, it’s really simple. Like, this is a business. It’s a business,” Lesnar said about the decision for him to win. “And I think a lot of guys live and breathe the lifestyle of it. And for Taker — obviously it wasn’t my call to make. At the time, Vince McMahon, if there was a person that could take the streak away with a legitimate background and people could believe it, I guess it was me. There’s a lot of people that are pissed that it’s me, but it’s not my call. And so my hats off to Undertaker, Mark, he’s a great guy. And at the end, it’s a business. It’s a give and take. And it was time for Taker to give — and it was a time for Brock Lesnar to take it.”

Lesnar said he was excited when he found out he was going to win, but he also felt bad for Undertaker. They’ve always had a good relationship. And after Undertaker suffered a concussion during the match, Lesnar made sure to go to the hospital with him.

“He was a mentor of mine. Like, I worked with Taker for many years,” Lesnar said. “And so now we’re out in this match and Taker got hit left field day of. He’s coming to his [22nd] WrestleMania thinking that he’s going to win and then two hours before we go on, the rug gets pulled on him. And so a lot of different emotions there, I’m sure. I was excited, but I also felt bad too. Like, I’m the guy and I get to be the guy.

“So we’re out in the match and next thing I know Taker is not being Taker. It’s a dance out there and you just got to do your best to get through it. And we did. And, yeah, out of respect — because I spent a lot of time with Taker and I wanted to make sure that he was all right. And that’s part of the deal, you know? I did go to the hospital to make sure he was okay. That’s just part of the respect thing.”

Undertaker ended up continuing his in-ring career through WrestleMania 36, where he defeated AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match. He finished with a WrestleMania record of 25-2.

At WrestleMania 42 this year, Lesnar is set to face up-and-coming WWE star Oba Femi. The two-night event is being held in Las Vegas on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19.

Ricky Saints says Undertaker has given him ‘so many gems’ of WWE advice

Getting advice from his favorite wrestler of all time has been a wild experience for Ricky Saints.

In an interview with KRON 4 News, Saints named The Undertaker, The Rock, and Mankind as his three favorite wrestlers. Undertaker takes the top spot on that list, and it’s still surreal for Saints to be in the same company as Undertaker and receiving advice from him.

“I met The Undertaker several times. He’s awesome, given me so many gems of advice and knowledge that he’s dropped on me,” Saints said. “It’s wild. It’s wild to see every time I see him at the [Performance Center] or at some of these shows that we go up and greet each other and, you know, catch up a little bit. But, yeah, it’s insane, like watching as a kid and now being on the same show, being a part of the same company with him, is wild.”

Saints and Undertaker actually first met in a gym while Undertaker was training for his WrestleMania 32 match against Shane McMahon, and Saints later helped Undertaker’s wife Michelle McCool prepare for a Royal Rumble appearance.

Undertaker’s behind-the-scenes influence has grown over the past year with him becoming an important voice in Lucha Libre AAA’s creative after the promotion was acquired by WWE.

At NXT Vengeance Day earlier this month, Saints came up short in his attempt to win the NXT Championship from Joe Hendry. A match between Saints and Tony D’Angelo is set to take place on NXT next week.

Chelsea Green says Michael Hayes apologized for ‘WWE: Unreal’ comments

Michael Hayes has reached out to apologize to Chelsea Green for comments he made on the second season of “WWE: Unreal.”

The Netflix docuseries included a clip where Hayes said that Green, while entertaining, is not built for a top role like Charlotte Flair or Tiffany Stratton. Hayes said Green’s spot in WWE is instead to make main event stars like Flair and Stratton.

On a new episode of the Nikki & Brie Show, Green noted that she and Hayes have spoken about the comments. Green also opened up about how much it meant to her to have The Undertaker push back against Hayes’ remarks. Undertaker — during an episode of his podcast where Hayes was the guest — said he thinks Green is underutilized and could be a top player in WWE.

“Michael Hayes has apologized to me and we’ve spoken about it and everything,” Green said. “But at the end of the day, I know that Undertaker has had my back because he booked me to win the Mixed AAA tag titles. So he has believed in me since before Michael Hayes said that. And someone of that like high caliber or high status in wrestling, like that means a lot to me. You know, he doesn’t waste his breath on anyone.”

Though Green knows she has her fans, it was really impactful to have a legend like The Undertaker being so vocal in his praise. He also sent Green a text sticking up for her.

“I know everyone says like, ‘Oh my gosh, you’re so funny.’ Or like, ‘I watched you and that was hilarious.’ But there’s always the same girls that is everyone’s favorite wrestlers,” Green said. “Rhea [Ripley] is always going to be everyone’s favorite wrestler. Stephanie [Vaquer] is always going to be everyone’s favorite wrestler, right? And I’m used to that. And I support them. I champion them. They’re my favorite wrestlers too. But to hear Undertaker saying my name, sticking up for like little old me and saying it was such conviction, like he did not hesitate for a second. And he had told me that in the text.”

Hayes has claimed that the editing of “Unreal” presented his comments out of context, leaving out praise he had for how talented Green is.

At the moment, Green is out of action with an ankle injury but is on a “good trajectory” in her recovery.

Undertaker: WWE has gotten ‘too comfortable’ pulling back the curtain

As you’d probably expect given his old-school mentality, The Undertaker isn’t the biggest fan of “WWE: Unreal.”

The latest episode of Undertaker’s Six Feet Under podcast included a discussion about the “Unreal” docuseries. While Undertaker thinks the show is well done, he does not like pulling back the curtain in this way.

“The actual presentation and everything is wonderful, right? From my aspect and my end of the business, I don’t like it,” Undertaker said. “And everybody’s going to say, ‘Oh my God, that’s an old-school guy trying to protect kayfabe.’ Look, I don’t care if it’s 2025, it’s 1990, or it’s 1984. Everybody understands what wrestling is. Everybody knows. Ain’t no big veil been lifted — except I don’t want to go to see a magician and know how he’s doing everything. And I understand that there’s a huge part, they’re like, ‘Oh, that’s interesting, I want to do that.’ But there’s still that aspect…

“Everybody knows what we do, right? But when I’m in the ring, my whole goal, my motivation is to get one person, just one person to think, ‘Wow, Undertaker just clocked him. I don’t care what everybody else is doing. That right there, that was the real thing.’ So there’s always the doubt.”

Undertaker admitted that he knows people on the internet will take issue with his comments and feel like he’s out of touch. Still, he wishes pro wrestling would not expose the business as much as it does. Even hosting his own podcast can be difficult for Undertaker given his reluctance to pull back the curtain.

“I think we’re too comfortable now in talking about our business. And I struggle on these podcasts too, because it’s hard to talk. It’s hard to talk and tell stories without lifting it up a little bit,” he said. “But I think we’ve gone too far. And again, I understand. Everyone knows what it is, what we do. But there’s got to be a little bit of mystery.”

The second season of “Unreal” premiered on January 20, and the series has already been renewed for season three.

Undertaker retired in 2020 and is now involved behind the scenes in WWE, helping lead creative for Lucha Libre AAA.
